The Candice Malcolm Show - Carney goes WOKE, clueless immigration minister can’t answer basic questions

00:00:00.000 Hi, I'm Candace Malcolm, and this is The Candace Malcolm Show. Hope everyone is having a wonderful

00:00:07.100 day. We have a great episode for you today. We're going to be breaking some big, major

00:00:11.600 news on the program a little bit later on. But I wanted to start by commenting again

00:00:16.840 on our Prime Minister, Mark Carney, and some of the things that he's doing that are, well,

00:00:22.440 let's just say making me a little bit worried about the direction of our country. So it's

00:00:27.220 June. June is my favorite month of the year, not just because it's my birthday, but it's

00:00:32.020 the wonderful time where it's the start of summer. The kids are finishing school. It's

00:00:35.820 always just been the start of summer, the time where you get to spend more time with your

00:00:39.840 family, spend more time in nature. In fact, this morning, my son and I went for a wonderful

00:00:44.460 hike. There's a trailhead near my house, and we went for a loop, a walk around. And I love

00:00:49.700 it. I love being in nature. I love being with my family. That is what June and that is what

00:00:53.360 summer represents to me. And I imagine that's what summer represents to most Canadians. But

00:00:59.320 there is a small fringe subset in our society and in our culture that thinks of June in a

00:01:05.760 totally different way, right? They think that June is the start of Pride season. Remember,

00:01:10.440 Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister, Anita Annan, tweeted. She posted this on social media. It's

00:01:14.780 not just Pride Day anymore. It's not even Pride Month anymore, folks. It's Pride season.

00:01:19.460 So we have to devote the entire summer to focusing on sexuality and people's personal

00:01:26.640 preferences, which to me is just totally outrageous, right? And so look, I spent an entire

00:01:31.480 episode talking about Pride season with a guest, Sean Newman. It was a great episode. We actually

00:01:35.560 had to put it behind the paywall because it was too spicy for YouTube. So if you want to

00:01:39.800 check that out, the title is Carney Loses Vote in the House, Refuses to Open the Books, plus

00:01:44.280 it's Pride season. Now go check out that episode because we do a deep dive into this. So

00:01:49.260 let's bring it back to the Prime Minister though, right? So on yesterday's show, I talked about

00:01:54.260 how the things that Mark Carney has been doing so far is actually kind of based. He's doing a lot

00:01:58.760 of things that conservatives should be excited about, right? Bill C-2, you know, I'm cautious

00:02:03.140 about some of the civil rights overreaches on civil liberties, but part of that bill cracks down

00:02:08.380 on illegal asylum seekers and people trying to circumvent our border and our laws and tries to crack 0.88

00:02:13.760 down on some of that, which I'm here for. Next, we had Bill C-5, which I talked about

00:02:18.760 in depth on the show yesterday and earlier in the week with Premier Danielle Smith. And that bill

00:02:25.080 creates a framework to push through pipelines and other energy projects. It even allows the

00:02:30.220 government to override some of the overzealous environmental rules put forth by former Prime

00:02:35.620 Minister Justin Trudeau. Okay. So Mark Carney's doing a lot right, but as many people in the comments

00:02:41.000 will probably be pointing out, you know, is this real? Is he the real deal? Or is he a wolf in sheep's

00:02:46.820 clothing? Is he a con man? Is he actually going to follow through with a bunch of this? Well,

00:02:52.280 I think some of his actions so far when it comes to the pride stuff, you know, it's tipping the scales.

00:02:57.480 It's letting us know that maybe the mask is slipping. Maybe he is a woke radical. So I want to point to

00:03:03.860 first this video of Prime Minister Mark Carney on Friday, where he is speaking at an Eid celebration

00:03:11.360 in Ottawa. And Mark Carney says that all Canadians must come together to celebrate Muslim values. He

00:03:16.980 said that these are Muslim values. These are Canadian values. So Muslim values are Canadian 0.97

00:03:21.960 values. Let's play that clip. We can gather in different places of worship, but all of us come

00:03:26.980 together. All of us must come together around the values of Eid. These are Muslim values.

00:03:33.880 These are Canadian values. So typical politician pandering to ethnic groups. But then the interesting

00:03:42.520 thing is just three days later, here is the same Prime Minister or the same Mark Carney raising the,

00:03:48.980 not just the pride flag, okay? They used to have the rainbow flag that represented gay pride.

00:03:53.180 Now they have this hideous, ridiculous monstrosity of a flag called the pride progress flag or the 0.98

00:04:00.060 progress pride flag. Here he is raising this awful flag at a ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. 0.94

00:04:16.460 It's hard to see the flag in that picture. I'll get another image of it so you can see

00:04:20.520 what we're dealing with here, right? So it's not just the pride flag. It is the pride flag. And then

00:04:27.620 they've stuck a triangle on, which I believe represents trans people. So it's to include

00:04:32.580 the trans. That's what the baby blue and the baby pink are. And then they also include different shades

00:04:38.200 of brown to sort of include, I guess, what they call BIPOC people, people who are not white.

00:04:43.740 And then they also have a yellow circle in there. So really, it's just like a rainbow mafia of every 0.99

00:04:52.280 different thing, every different personal preference, every different thing that makes them

00:04:56.360 different. All the things that all the groups that are kind of railing against us, Canadians,

00:05:02.260 Western civilization, whatever you want to call it. And so here's Mark Carney kind of trying to do both,

00:05:06.980 right? Happy Pride Canada. This reminds me of Justin Trudeau. Remember back in 2017 when he wore those

00:05:13.000 silly socks? Justin Trudeau is known for his socks, but he wore a pair of what were called hipster 0.88

00:05:19.000 Muslim socks. They were supposed to represent gay pride, but also Ramadan. Okay. For those of you, 0.89

00:05:26.640 the uninitiated, I mean, just think about it for a second, right? Do Muslim, does Muslim values,

00:05:32.260 do Muslim values really include gay pride? Like someone remind me, what do Muslims believe when 1.00

00:05:37.640 it comes to gay people? How are gay people treated in most Muslim countries? It's not exactly something

00:05:43.840 that aligns perfectly, if you know what I mean. And yet, Justin Trudeau is just like perfect

00:05:49.000 cognitive dissidence here. And just look at the way the media covered it, right? Here's Maclean's

00:05:53.400 Justin Trudeau wore our Muslim hipster socks. The Guardian, a UK paper, can Justin Trudeau's socks

00:05:59.340 bring peace to the world, right? The media were swooning over this nonsense. The New York Times,

00:06:03.920 Justin Trudeau's sock diplomacy. But the idea is, you know, wearing Muslim socks to a gay pride parade 0.99

00:06:10.820 didn't really accomplish anything. It probably just angered a bunch of different groups. And that was 0.79

00:06:14.880 sort of Justin Trudeau in a nutshell. And now we're wondering, like, is that the same thing for Mark

00:06:18.980 Kearney? Is he walking us down the same path? Does he have the same beliefs that he can just sort of be

00:06:23.480 all things to all people? He can go over here and talk about how great Muslims are and Muslim values are

00:06:27.940 Canadian values, and then turn around the next day and celebrate all the things that would not be

00:06:33.300 in a Muslim country. I think a lot of Canadians are starting to, let's just say, see through this and 1.00

00:06:39.040 realize that, you know, this is not what we want for our country. I want to transition to talk about

00:06:43.760 our clueless immigration minister. This is really an unbelievable exchange here, covered by Juneau News

00:06:49.840 Liberal Minister Dodge's questions on illegal immigrant numbers. So I'm going to play this clip.

00:06:54.800 It's about 51 seconds long. And it is just like the exchange we showed last week. We had an exchange

00:06:59.980 with Conservative MP Michelle Rumpel-Garner last week against our immigration minister,

00:07:05.100 Lina Diab. Well, they're at it again in a special session on Monday night. So Michelle was asking

00:07:11.340 the immigration minister, how many of the 500,000 illegal immigrants currently in Canada have been

00:07:19.480 removed? Let's play this clip.

00:07:21.100 How many of the 500,000 people that are not supposed to be in Canada have been removed? Just the number.

00:07:29.060 Minister. So thank you very much, Mr. Chair. Again, people whose visas expires or who are here

00:07:36.920 that should not be here need to leave. If they do not, that is a CBSA.

00:07:42.760 Member. Here's the thing. The minister cannot set levels if she doesn't know how many people have

00:07:51.500 left. So it is her job. So I need to know how many people of that 500,000 has left. How about this?

00:07:58.400 Does she even know? Does she have any clue? 0.96

00:08:00.500 Minister.

00:08:04.100 So again, Mr. Chair, my role here tonight is not to talk about people leaving and people that are here

00:08:17.120 that have have visas expired and so on in terms of how many have left. That is completely a CBSA

00:08:25.660 function and the public safety takes care. So, yeah. In other words, she has no idea. Our

00:08:31.660 immigration minister is totally clueless. She doesn't know the answer. Michelle Rumpelgarner really 0.99

00:08:36.500 pointing that out. And the exchange continued. So when asked about the liberal liberals plan to remove

00:08:42.740 these illegal immigrants, again, Minister Diab said that they're expected to leave voluntarily. We 0.76

00:08:48.420 have rules and we expect people to follow those rules. See, this is Canada's problem in a nutshell,

00:08:52.980 right? Like we create a country and set up a country for honorable people who will follow the

00:08:58.120 rules. And the problem is a lot of people around the world from different countries and different 1.00

00:09:01.620 cultures don't share those core values, those core values of doing the honorable thing and doing

00:09:07.020 what's right. Okay. And so we have a lot of people that come into our country that just completely 1.00

00:09:11.100 ignore our rules and don't care. And they come illegally, which means that they broke her rules

00:09:15.560 from the onset. What makes you think that they would do the right thing and be honorable and leave,

00:09:21.440 right? If they didn't follow the rules coming in, they're probably not going to follow the rules

00:09:24.000 coming out. Regardless, again, here is our immigration minister being totally clueless.

00:09:28.060 She won't tell us how many have been removed. What's the plan to get them to leave?

00:09:32.440 The minister.

00:09:32.860 So, Mr. Chair, again, to you, through you, to the member, we have rules in this country

00:09:40.540 and we expect people to follow those rules.

00:09:43.700 So again, our immigration minister is totally clueless. And the buck stops with Prime Minister

00:09:49.120 Mark Carney. Like he has to set up our country and our system in a way that is going to be

00:09:53.180 successful, that is going to function. And again, just relying on people to do the right thing,

00:09:57.120 not going to work in 2025. At a press conference, Conservative leader Pierre Polyev goes, I think,

00:10:03.680 just about as far as I've ever heard him go on immigration. He said that Conservatives want

00:10:07.460 severe limits on population growth to reverse the damage done by the Liberals. And just note

00:10:14.020 how the media are kind of like heckling him and pressuring him in this clip, really sort of making

00:10:20.820 sure he doesn't go too far in immigration. The media in Ottawa, it's like their job,

00:10:26.640 to try to ensure that Conservatives never say the thing that they should say, that they always try

00:10:33.040 to fall in line with the Laurentian elite. They pressure Conservatives to be more liberal,

00:10:37.320 basically. And here is Polyev pushing back and saying something quite bold for a Conservative.

00:10:42.700 Let's play that clip.

00:10:43.480 We want severe limits on population growth to reverse the damage the Liberals did to our system.

00:10:51.160 The population has been growing out of control. Our borders have been left wide open. This has caused

00:10:55.760 the free flow of drugs, human trafficking, illegal migration, and much worse.

00:11:03.220 Oh, I guess the clip cuts off before the heckling starts. But I will tell you that they were heckling.

00:11:07.660 And again, the media see themselves as the old guard making sure that Conservatives don't be too,

00:11:13.360 aren't too conservative and that they stay liberal. Okay, folks, I want to transition a little bit

00:11:18.240 and go to some big breaking news that's happening over at Juno News. And to do that, I am joined by

00:11:24.620 Cosman Jerja. Cosman is the managing editor over at True North, and he's going to walk us through this

00:11:29.740 story. So, Cosman, thank you so much for joining us today. Why don't you walk us through this

00:11:34.820 unbelievable story? We're going to talk just about the headline now, and then we're going to push it

00:11:40.680 over to Juno News, because let me just tell you, folks, the content of this story is so unbelievable

00:11:47.420 that we can't put it on social media. We're going to put it behind our paywall, Juno News,

00:11:51.380 because the details are so shocking that I do think we'd get censored for this information,

00:11:56.700 even though it's based on a report of the federal government funding this kind of stuff. Okay,

00:12:02.120 Cosman, can you walk us through the story, please?

00:12:03.740 Yeah, absolutely. So essentially, we uncovered the fact that the Social Sciences Humanities Research

00:12:11.920 Council, a federal grant organization that distributes taxpayer funding to various academics

00:12:18.940 for doctoral research surveys, different types of studies and reports, essentially funded to the

00:12:28.680 tune of $20,000, a study on pedophiles and their sexual attraction to children as young as infant and

00:12:39.160 baby age. And this study was essentially compiled by a University of Ottawa researcher, a PhD candidate

00:12:48.460 who received these funds for doctoral research. And they put out a survey that was also...

00:12:56.420 We're going to hold that bit for the paywall, Cosman, because it is just too unbelievable.

00:13:01.000 So folks, the story headline is,

00:13:02.800 Sick Federal Grant Paid Pedophiles for Disturbing Sex Research. If you want to see this interview,

00:13:09.180 head on over to JunoNews.com, become a premium subscriber behind the paywall. You will see,

00:13:14.680 and we'll go through the details. You're going to want to see this. It's in line.
