00:00:16.880 everyone's talking about, mostly because Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sort of inserted himself

00:00:21.920 into a story that he really, really should not have. So I'm talking about a London Knights NHL

00:00:26.960 prospect named Logan Mayhew. Mayhew is a star defenseman who had been expected to be drafted

00:00:31.840 in the first round this year, but then he fell into some legal trouble while he was on loan with a

00:00:37.360 Sweden team. His OHL team didn't play this season because of COVID, so he went over and played in

00:00:42.900 Sweden. I'll read a report from July 16th in the London Free Press newspaper. It says, according to

00:00:49.220 hockey journalist Frank Cervalli, who runs dailyfaceoff.com, blue liner Logan Mayhew took a

00:00:55.280 photo of a woman without her consent during consensual sex and then distributed it to teammates

00:01:01.280 on SK Leon, a team in Sweden's third division. Mayhew was 17 at the time and the woman was 18

00:01:08.660 according to the report. It is our understanding the situation has been resolved in Sweden and Mayhew

00:01:14.000 has apologized, a Knights team statement read. Mayhew was eventually charged with defamation and

00:01:20.300 offensive photography, dailyfaceoff.com reported. He was ordered to pay a fine to take the matter out

00:01:26.360 of the court system, the hockey news website reported. He is quoted as apologizing for the

00:01:30.840 incident in the article. So that was on July 16th. And then on July 20th, Mayhew took a very

00:01:37.620 unprecedented step. He posted this on his social media. So he writes, being drafted into the NHL is

00:01:43.400 an honor and a privilege that no one takes lightly. The NHL draft should be one of the most exciting

00:01:47.840 landmark moments in a player's career. And given the circumstances, I don't feel I have demonstrated

00:01:52.360 strong enough maturity or character to earn the privilege in the 2021 draft. If I were to ever have

00:01:59.480 the honor being selected, I would want a fan base to be proud and welcome me into their organization.

00:02:04.240 I know it will take some time for society to build back the trust I have lost. And that is why I think

00:02:08.880 it is best that I renounce myself from the 2021 NHL draft and ask that no one select me this upcoming

00:02:14.640 weekend. I feel that this would allow me the opportunity to demonstrate an adequate level

00:02:19.620 of maturity and character next season with the London Knights in the OHL and provide all the NHL

00:02:25.100 teams the opportunity to reassess my character towards the 2022 NHL draft. And he signs it Logan Mayhew.

00:02:33.700 So fair enough. I mean, it's sort of interesting that he is showing maturity by posting a statement

00:02:38.120 like this and recognizing the mistakes he made. And just to be clear, the sexual act he engaged in was

00:02:44.280 consensual. That was not the illegal part. The illegal part was that he apparently took photos

00:02:49.540 of it and shared it with his teammates. So Mayhew's actions were wrong and it is completely fair game

00:02:54.740 to criticize him. Then the story got even bigger because over the weekend, the Montreal Canadiens

00:02:59.760 decided to ignore Mayhew's own request and they drafted him anyway. He was selected in the first round.

00:03:07.340 Now again, perhaps there's reasons why. Perhaps they assessed Mayhew's performance and looked at the

00:03:12.260 maturity of putting out that statement and decided that he was ready or they decided that, you know,

00:03:16.820 he was going to have to spend a year or two in the Canadian system anyway, so they might as well draft

00:03:21.740 him. But I think the problem really happened when the coaching staff seemed completely unable to

00:03:27.700 provide an answer. They just hadn't really thought it through, it seems. So this is what it looked like

00:03:32.800 when a journalist asked about this question. Regarding Logan, in his statement, he says that

00:03:38.940 he thought that he did not earn the right to be drafted. Why? I mean, based on that, if the player

00:03:48.180 thinks that, why do you think the opposite?

00:03:51.300 What do you mean? What do I think the opposite? Can you expand on that a little bit?

00:04:17.480 So this is when it blew up and became an even bigger story in the sports world. And there are

00:04:23.120 lots of very, very valid reasons to criticize the Montreal Canadiens for their decision. But then

00:04:29.340 something really remarkable happened. The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, decided that he

00:04:34.160 wanted to get into this debate. He decided that he wanted to comment on it. So here he is slamming

00:04:39.880 Montreal Canadiens and saying that he is deeply disappointed. As a lifelong Habs fan, I have to

00:04:47.480 say, I am deeply disappointed by the decision. I think it was a lack of judgment by the Canadians 0.99

00:04:53.860 organization. I think they have a lot of explaining to do to Montrealers and to fans from right across

00:04:59.780 the country. So the very fact that Justin Trudeau imagines himself to be qualified to talk on this

00:05:04.920 topic that he thinks that he is the moral authority when it comes to sexual misconduct is quite frankly

00:05:11.100 absurd. So Malieu was 17 years old at the time when he made his regrettable mistake, which to be clear

00:05:17.320 was against the law. He broke the law. Now Justin Trudeau, meanwhile, was 28 years old when he admittedly

00:05:23.880 groped a female reporter who was trying to do her job at a music festival back in 2000. To be clear,

00:05:30.220 what Justin Trudeau did was not illegally was never charged or convicted of any crimes. But still, he did

00:05:36.560 admit to doing this. I say he admitted it because according to an anonymous editorial, we learned that

00:05:43.460 was actually written by the victim. Trudeau apologized for groping this woman the next day. So this is what

00:05:50.020 the editorial says. Now again, this was written back in 2000. It says, quote, I'm sorry, if I had known you

00:05:56.540 were reporting for a national paper, I would have never been so forward. Unquote. Those were the words

00:06:01.300 that were spoken to an advanced reporter by Justin Trudeau, son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau

00:06:06.020 on August 4th. Trudeau, who was in Crescent to celebrate the Kokanee Summit Festival put on by the

00:06:11.520 Columbia Brewery, apologized a day later for inappropriately handling the reporter while she

00:06:17.760 was on assignment, not only for the advance, but also for the National Post and the Vancouver Sun.

00:06:22.280 Quote, if I had known you were reporting for a national paper. But shouldn't the son of a former

00:06:27.720 Prime Minister be aware of the rights and wrongs that go along with public socializing? Didn't he

00:06:33.240 learn through his vast experiences in public life that groping a strange young woman isn't in the

00:06:38.580 handbook of proper etiquette, regardless of who she is, what her business is, or where they are?

00:06:45.140 That's pretty devastating stuff. Okay, the story went from bad to worse for Justin Trudeau when he was

00:06:50.320 finally confronted about the story by the legacy media several weeks later. After all, at the time,

00:06:55.700 Justin Trudeau had painted himself as the model of male feminism. He received great praise from the

00:07:01.560 legacy media for announcing that he was having a gender balanced cabinet with 50% men, 50% women,

00:07:07.520 remember that? And he also said that he was raising his two sons to be feminists. So it was all a little

00:07:13.840 shocking to hear that Trudeau wasn't really a feminist, and he wasn't really a gentleman in his

00:07:18.580 personal life. Well, instead of taking responsibility for it, apologizing, recognizing his mistakes,

00:07:24.800 much like the way that 18-year-old Logan Mayhew has done, Trudeau did the opposite. He turned it

00:07:30.280 around and actually blamed his victim. Is that sorry for how she feels or sorry for what happened?

00:07:35.340 Because we don't really know from your recollection what happened. Well, I mean, and there's a lot of

00:07:39.900 uncertainties around this in terms of my recollection is that there was no untoward or inappropriate

00:07:46.380 actions, but she was in a professional context. And, and, you know, who knows where her mind was,

00:07:52.200 and I fully respect her ability to experience something differently. And that's, that's the

00:07:57.020 whole conversation we have to be having around this, that people experience things differently,

00:08:01.300 and we have to be much more thoughtful. And that's a great part of the collective awakening we have.

00:08:06.180 That was very infuriating for many, many women to watch, many Canadians to watch. He said that

00:08:10.900 who knows where her head was at, again, blaming her saying that she was the one who was at fault for

00:08:16.240 seeing it this way. And then flat out saying that she experienced it differently than him.

00:08:21.800 It doesn't sound like Justin Trudeau had learned his lesson one bit, but it turns out that that kind

00:08:27.740 of behavior is pretty much normal in the liberal caucus and within the liberal government. The following

00:08:33.480 is a list of liberal MPs and high ranking staff in the prime minister's office who have each faced

00:08:39.540 their own sexual scandals. So here we go. We have liberal MP Marwan Tabara, who was a liberal

00:08:47.080 candidate in 2019 election. And he was a candidate despite the fact that he was under investigation

00:08:52.780 prior to an incident from 2015, where he allegedly directed sexual comments and inappropriately touched

00:08:59.420 a female staffer. Next, MP Kent here. While serving as the minister of sport and persons with

00:09:07.160 disability, liberal MP Kent Hare was accused by two separate women of sexual harassment.

00:09:13.260 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau kept Hare in the liberal caucus despite these allegations being

00:09:18.140 made against him. Next, MP Darshan Khan. Two female staffers came forward with information about 1.00

00:09:24.140 Kang's alleged inappropriate behavior. According to the Hill Times, Kang was under investigation by the

00:09:29.000 House of Commons chief human resources officer. One of the accusers claimed that Kang forced himself on

00:09:35.120 her kissing her and grabbing her without consent. Next, MP Hunter Tutu, former Liberal cabinet minister

00:09:41.720 and Nunavut MP. He apologized in 2016 after reports revealed that he had had an inappropriate

00:09:47.800 relationship with someone in his office. All right, next we have MP Massimo Passetti and MP Scott

00:09:54.500 Andrews. Now you might remember before Trudeau even became prime minister, these two MPs were kicked out

00:10:00.640 of the Liberal caucus because Trudeau came out and said an NDP MP had come to him to talk about sexual

00:10:08.240 misconduct claims. So for Passetti, he was accused of having sex with a woman without explicit consent.

00:10:15.120 And for MP Andrews, one woman claimed that he had sexually harassed her and two other possible victims

00:10:22.120 were also identified. And it doesn't end there. PMO, former director of operations, Claude Eric Gagnon,

00:10:28.500 was forced to resign from his position after being under investigation for inappropriate sexual

00:10:34.100 behavior. And it isn't just MPs and staffers. The problem with sexual misconduct in the Trudeau

00:10:39.300 government seems to have seeped into the military as well. So you've probably heard of this story of

00:10:46.100 General Jonathan Vance, who served as the chief of defense staff, which is the highest ranking civil

00:10:51.980 service position in the military. They report directly to the minister of national defense. Well,

00:10:57.340 General Jonathan Vance resigned from this position after his own sexual scandal was revealed.

00:11:03.660 So Vance was hand selected to serve in this position by Trudeau and by the liberals. And so

00:11:08.300 perhaps because of this, when Minister Harjit Sejan, who's the national defense minister, when he learned

00:11:14.060 of Vance having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a woman who reported directly to him in his chain

00:11:20.380 of demand, Sejan looked the other way. Complaints about General Vance made its way all the way up to the

00:11:26.460 prime minister's office and to Trudeau's chief of staff, Katie Tilford, who was told in 2018,

00:11:32.780 Trudeau himself denies knowing about any of this. And when he was asked if he was upset that nobody

00:11:37.580 told him, he said no. The story keeps going though, because in April, 2021, amid the ongoing scandal and

00:11:44.140 investigation into General Vance, the liberals shut down a probe into the allegations of high level sexual

00:11:50.860 misconduct in the Canadian forces. Because nothing says we have nothing to hide, quite like shutting

00:11:56.780 down an investigation. But we know. Justin Trudeau is a fake feminist. We all know that. He kicked a 1.00

00:12:04.380 strong indigenous woman, Jodie Wilson-Raybill, out of his cabinet because she dared to defy his orders

00:12:10.300 when he asked her to break the rules and give a contract to his sketchy friends over at SNC-Lavalin.

00:12:16.300 Raybill said no, and so Trudeau fired her. He then kicked Raybill, as well as Minister Jane Philpott,

00:12:22.300 who had defended Raybill. He kicked them both out of the Liberal Caucus. And MP Selina Cesar

00:12:28.220 Shivanas also quit the Liberal Caucus as well. Trudeau is the last person who can credibly speak on this

00:12:35.180 topic. So instead of lecturing the NHL, lecturing the Montreal Canadiens, and lecturing some 18-year-old

00:12:40.700 kid, how about Trudeau focus on getting his own affairs in order? People who live in glass houses
