00:00:32.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:33.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:52.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:06.000 We're going to talk about a variety of topics, some of the big wins from Judicial Watch, including Los Angeles County confirming removal of 1.2 million ineligible voters from part of a lawsuit.
00:01:19.000 But we are going to lead with the Project Veritas story.
00:01:22.000 What is the latest?
00:01:24.000 Well, James O'Keefe last evening posted a picture on his social media of just what kind of seemed to be a brainstorming session.
00:01:31.000 James O'Keefe was in jeans and a jacket, hat backwards and a big whiteboard, joking around, it looks like, with his team in a good way, favorable.
00:01:39.000 I loved seeing it.
00:01:40.000 That he's still creating, that he seems like he's planning his next moves.
00:01:45.000 Look, the left would love nothing more than to take James O'Keefe out of the game.
00:01:52.000 They would love nothing more than to try to make James O'Keefe no longer a threat.
00:02:01.000 You see, James O'Keefe has successfully been able to land more shots on target than anybody else in the conservative movement, maybe except Donald Trump in the last decade.
00:02:14.000 James O'Keefe tweeted out, those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who actually do.
00:02:19.000 In a war room at midnight with a few happy warriors making moves, James O'Keefe looks to be in great spirits.
00:02:26.000 However, I don't think we should turn our back on the idea of James O'Keefe having a rightful, having a right to still be involved in Project Veritas, not just involved, it's his organization.
00:02:42.000 What does this show?
00:02:44.000 What does it demonstrate?
00:02:46.000 That someone like James O'Keefe, who has done nothing but win after win after win, can be removed like this.
00:02:55.000 And for what reason?
00:02:56.000 They say it's because of $150,000 in black cars, which are business expenses.
00:03:00.000 We went through that whole thing in great depth and great detail, and I thought it was rather persuasive against the board's contention that this was wasting of money.
00:03:11.000 And joining us now is another hero who is friends with James O'Keefe, who I know has strong opinions about this.
00:03:17.000 Tom Fitton is with us from Judicial Wash.
00:03:20.000 Tom, welcome to the program.
00:03:22.000 Hey, Charlie, good to be with you.
00:03:23.000 Thanks for having me again.
00:03:24.000 Always welcome on the program.
00:03:25.000 You're one of the few fighters, just like James O'Keefe is.
00:03:28.000 Tom, how should we approach this James O'Keefe saga, which is increasingly a circus on behalf of Project Veritas' board?
00:03:38.000 Well, the board hasn't asked me for advice, nor has James, so I'm hesitant to freely give it.
00:03:45.000 I'm hoping they can resolve it.
00:03:47.000 I haven't seen anything that the board has released to suggest the kind of extraordinary action that they took was warranted, especially given the risk to the company.
00:04:00.000 So if I were them, I'd try to walk it back as quickly as I can and resolve the issues they have with James so they can get back to work.
00:04:10.000 How important is James O'Keefe to the movement?
00:04:15.000 Well, you know, I think he has this entrepreneurial spirit and an approach that it's hard to clone.
00:04:23.000 And so he has a unique approach that was pursued through Project Veritas.
00:04:31.000 And, you know, I think he'll land on his feet no matter what happens.
00:04:35.000 But, you know, there are these leaders in our movement and in the nation that, you know, we shouldn't cast aside easily.
00:04:45.000 And I don't think that's going to happen with James.
00:04:48.000 I sure hope not.
00:04:49.000 He's incredibly important.
00:04:50.000 I want to talk about the story here, Judicial Watch.
00:04:53.000 Los Angeles County confirms removal of 1.2 million ineligible voters.
00:04:57.000 This is all because of Judicial Watch.
00:04:59.000 Tell us about it.
00:05:01.000 Yeah, we sued in federal court.
00:05:03.000 It's a few years ago now to get LA County and generally California to get back on track in terms of ensuring that they're taking reasonable steps to clean up the voter rolls, which is required under federal law, the National Voter Registration Act.
00:05:19.000 And it looked like to us, and I think they admitted to this, that they hadn't cleaned their roles in 20 years under some sort of consent decree they had back to the Clinton administration.
00:05:33.000 So long story short is they settled with us and it was a remarkable settlement to their credit.
00:05:38.000 They committed to over time cleaning up the roles specifically in Los Angeles County.
00:05:46.000 And they finally reported back to us the results of that work that took years.
00:05:51.000 I think it should have been done more quickly, but you know, it was a settlement, so that's life.
00:05:57.000 And they confirmed 1.2 million names were removed.
00:06:00.000 Half of those names, it looks like Charlie had been on the rolls and hadn't done anything, meaning been inactive for at least 10 years.
00:06:09.000 So this is a remarkable development for cleaner elections in California, because it doesn't mean that, you know, if there's an inactive voter sitting on the rolls, it doesn't mean they're voting illegally.
00:06:21.000 Obviously, if they vote, they become active, but it's kind of a pool of names from which fraudsters can draw.
00:06:28.000 So if someone moves away, then that's a name potentially that can be easily taken up and then voted on.
00:06:35.000 And so by, and that's why you have these rules requiring them to take reasonable steps to clean up the rolls.
00:06:40.000 So we've got 1.2 million taken off the rolls in California.
00:06:44.000 This happened looks like over the last year.
00:06:46.000 So they waited to the last minute in terms of the settlement.
00:06:50.000 And then, you know, separately, we had a lawsuit against New York City that resulted in a settlement that happened after they removed 440,000 names from the rolls.
00:07:01.000 And just before that, North Carolina, we stopped our lawsuit after they removed after we sued 430,000 names, I think.
00:07:12.000 So we're just talking 2 million names in the last year have been cleaned up as a result of litigation by one group, Judicial Watch.
00:07:20.000 By the way, litigation that in the ordinary course should have been and still should be pursued by an honest justice department, but they don't care.
00:07:29.000 They want the roles to be dirty, in my view.
00:07:31.000 The left is there so their political allies can steal elections if necessary.
00:07:36.000 And that's not something that we countenance.
00:07:38.000 So is there any evidence that these names that will now be removed, removed from the voter rolls received mail-in ballots?
00:07:48.000 It's hard to tell.
00:07:51.000 Potentially, yes.
00:07:54.000 If they're inactive, they shouldn't have received ballots, but they're all able to vote.
00:07:59.000 What's interesting is in 2020, going back, Governor Newsom wanted to send them all ballots.
00:08:08.000 And we sued to stop it and won.
00:08:11.000 So if they had their drothers, they would be getting ballots.
00:08:14.000 But they're all edge, you know, despite being inactive, they can all vote.
00:08:19.000 They just show up and vote or obtain a mail-in ballot.
00:08:21.000 Or somebody in their name, right?
00:08:23.000 I mean, that's or they can just get their, you know, someone can just send a name, you know, send a request in their name.
00:08:31.000 So that's the risk that's now alleviated and mitigated as a result of their names being removed.
00:08:37.000 So this is just one of several areas across the country where this is a major concern.
00:08:43.000 How many, if you were to speculate, millions of ineligible voters are still on voter rolls, let's just say in the key states, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin?
00:08:54.000 Well, we have litigation ongoing in Pennsylvania.
00:08:57.000 Good.
00:08:58.000 We have litigation ongoing in Colorado.
00:09:01.000 It continues to be an issue.
00:09:03.000 It's millions.
00:09:05.000 I'd be hesitant to take a wild guess because I don't want the fact checkers to come down on me like a ton of rich.
00:09:11.000 But it's significant.
00:09:12.000 No, I'm not sure.
00:09:13.000 It's a significant, it's a significant number.
00:09:16.000 You know, in New York, for instance, they didn't remove people from the rolls for five, six years.
00:09:23.000 So, but thanks to our work, states are being more careful.
00:09:28.000 And I think the story here is that Judicial Watch settled with California and Los Angeles County and New York City.
00:09:37.000 You know, it's not exactly the types of jurisdictions that one would think that Judicial Watch would be able to easily settle with on this sensitive topic.
00:09:49.000 But they know what the law is.
00:09:50.000 And the Supreme Court has made it clear that roles are to be cleaned up pursuant to the law.
00:09:57.000 So we're on the side of light here, but there's still a lot of work to be done as I've incredibly important work.
00:10:04.000 Colorado and Pennsylvania.
00:10:05.000 We'll see what else is going on because it's a yearly analysis that we undertake.
00:10:11.000 So the numbers for registrations and enactors will be coming around soon from the last election cycle.
00:10:20.000 And we'll see how things are then.
00:10:21.000 Everyone check out Judicial Watch and support Judicial Watch, just like Project Veritas.
00:10:25.000 They are doing the Lord's work, actually putting points on the board.
00:10:28.000 Tom, we have an email here.
00:10:29.000 Charlie, love Judicial Watch and their work.
00:10:31.000 Please ask Tom if there's any follow-up as to the purge voter rolls.
00:10:35.000 How do we know if it's actually been done?
00:10:37.000 Sandra from Fair Oaks, California.
00:10:38.000 Tom, what's your response?
00:10:40.000 Well, it was sent to us on official documentation.
00:10:43.000 The numbers are pretty easy to verify.
00:10:46.000 We trust they were done.
00:10:48.000 And it's an astonishing amount of names that were deleted over the last year or removed, as I say, should have probably been done a decade or more ago.
00:10:59.000 So it's pursuant to a court process and a federal court settlement.
00:11:04.000 So, you know, we don't trust.
00:11:06.000 We do verify as best as we're able to under the law.
00:11:09.000 I want to talk about another story here.
00:11:12.000 Judicial Watch sues the Department of Homeland Security for records on election censorship.
00:11:17.000 Tell us about it.
00:11:18.000 Yeah, I mean, this is one of, I think, a few lawsuits that have been spawned as a result of the Twitter files release.
00:11:25.000 And I think the specific one you're referencing, it looks like these NGOs, these non-governmental organizations and government entities were essentially engaging in censorship activities, targeting countless Americans on what is the equivalent of a Slack channel.
00:11:44.000 I don't use Slack, but sort of a casual approach to censorship.
00:11:49.000 And we're asking for the documents.
00:11:51.000 And recall, we don't sue.
00:11:54.000 unless they tell us they don't comply with the law.
00:11:58.000 So the Department of Homeland Security, rather than disclose information about their censorship activities, is hiding these records in violation of the FOIA law.
00:12:10.000 And I'm sorry, but when you break the law, especially on sensitive topics like this, in terms of secrecy, it suggests to me, and I think to most fair-minded people, that there's something they don't want us to see.
00:12:21.000 Yeah, and I just want to remind our audience, because this was a story we covered rather extensively a couple months ago.
00:12:27.000 The government, thanks to the United States Constitution, the Founding Fathers put rules for what the government cannot do.
00:12:33.000 The government knows this.
00:12:35.000 They don't always follow those rules, but to get creative, they outsourced their censorship to other companies because private companies are not bound by the Bill of Rights.
00:12:47.000 They can basically do whatever they want.
00:12:49.000 And so, but is that still the case, Tom?
00:12:52.000 I'm just curious.
00:12:53.000 There has to be some constitutional precedent, maybe not, of a government agency outsourcing the behavior that they themselves could not do.
00:13:05.000 The equivalent would be asking telecom companies after 9-11 to listen in on Muslims' phone calls, right?
00:13:13.000 Just something that would have gotten the liberal media upset.
00:13:17.000 Is there any precedent for this?
00:13:21.000 Well, you're highlighting the illegality of it and the unconstitutional nature of it.
00:13:25.000 The government can't do, you know, through a cutout something that they're prohibited under law from doing directly.
00:13:33.000 And we know in California, for instance, speaking of which, the Secretary of State's office in 2020 was, as, you know, as now has been widely disclosed, but we had uncovered it first, was working through these big tech companies to take down material they didn't like related to election controversies.
00:13:52.000 And one of those, you know, D.C. Draino, the internet influencer.
00:13:58.000 He's great.
00:13:58.000 He had tweets taken down and Judicial Watch found in these documents.
00:14:03.000 We were a victim too.
00:14:04.000 They took down a video of mine for Judicial Watch talking about the concerns I had about mail-in voting and the dirty voting rolls in California and such.
00:14:14.000 And YouTube took it down.
00:14:15.000 So we sued under the Constitution civil rights lawsuit, this California Secretary of State for that very issue, that they were violating our civil rights by getting YouTube to take this video down of ours.
00:14:29.000 Yeah, and I don't know.
00:14:31.000 But here's what I do.
00:14:32.000 I do know that I was on a list by the Department of Homeland Security.
00:14:35.000 And I do know that I was placed on a blacklist by Twitter.
00:14:38.000 I don't know if those two things are connected.
00:14:41.000 So I'm curious.
00:14:42.000 And Tom, thank you for fighting the fight for me because I was explicitly put on a do not amplify list by Twitter.
00:14:50.000 And I do know the Department of Homeland Security had me on a very long report.
00:14:55.000 And so reasonable minds can say, hey, one plus two should equal three, right?
00:15:02.000 And so, Tom, any closing thoughts on this?
00:15:05.000 Well, you have potential civil rights claims.
00:15:08.000 I'm not a lawyer, but certainly any lawyer will look at that and wonder if there was a connection and whether it's worth pursuing via litigation.
00:15:16.000 In the least, Congress has got to step in because the Biden administration hasn't stopped doing anything that we're concerned about here.
00:15:25.000 Maybe Twitter's ratcheted things back, but it hasn't stopped over at Facebook and Google.
00:15:29.000 They embrace this censorship.
00:15:30.000 They embrace this role.
00:15:32.000 They think they're able to do what we all object to.
00:15:35.000 So Congress has got to step in and target those who committed these illicit acts and be explicit as to prohibiting it from happening anymore.
00:15:45.000 Tom, thank you so much.
00:15:47.000 Appreciate it.
00:15:48.000 Please support Judicial Watch.
00:15:49.000 Really appreciate it.
00:15:50.000 Thank you.
00:15:51.000 You're welcome.
00:15:51.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:15:55.000 Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this.
00:15:59.000 I have never experienced anything quite like the new Strong Cell product.
00:16:03.000 I take it right before every single show.
00:16:05.000 It's so easy.
00:16:06.000 And you've got to read up on everything that has been packed into these tiny bottles.
00:16:09.000 You see, Strong Cell is a new scientific cocktail of cellular level replenishment.
00:16:14.000 It's so simple.
00:16:15.000 Just drink one small bottle of strong cell liquid per day and boom, you guys get NADH.
00:16:21.000 I've kind of become a student of NAD.
00:16:23.000 I'm going to tell you more about that in a second.
00:16:25.000 Look, Strong Cell is a formula that helps boost your body's natural energy and restoration at the cellular level.
00:16:32.000 NAD is a crucial coenzyme that is critical for creating energy in your cells.
00:16:39.000 Now, you might say, Charlie, this sounds too good to be true.
00:16:41.000 NAD, go look it up online.
00:16:43.000 Go do five minutes of research on NAD.
00:16:45.000 It is a miracle coenzyme.
00:16:47.000 Some people call it the anti-aging enzyme.
00:16:50.000 It can help with depression.
00:16:51.000 It can help with anxiety.
00:16:52.000 It can help with mental acuity with memory.
00:16:55.000 And Strong Cell also puts CoQ10 and wild-caught marine collagen.
00:17:00.000 Again, I take it every day, and the difference I feel is undeniable.
00:17:04.000 By taking just one small bottle of Strong Cell liquid every day, you can experience an energy boost within the first week and even more benefits within the first 15 days.
00:17:13.000 After 30 days, you'll feel like a new person.
00:17:16.000 But just don't take my word for it.

00:18:32.000 Got Byron Donalds here.
00:18:33.000 He's a great American patriot.
00:18:35.000 Very proud of him.
00:18:36.000 He's fighting hard.
00:18:36.000 Byron, welcome to the program.
00:18:38.000 How are you doing, Charlie?
00:18:39.000 Good seeing you.
00:18:40.000 It's great.
00:18:40.000 So let's, I want to get into the specific news from the House Oversight Committee, but let's just, I want to get a bigger picture kind of answer from you.
00:18:48.000 How are things in Congress?
00:18:49.000 Speaker fight as well in the rearview mirror.
00:18:51.000 Talk about the pace.
00:18:53.000 Talk about the results.
00:18:54.000 Talk about how this Congress is currently contrasting with the one that just ended.
00:19:00.000 Well, look, I got to tell you, this Congress has actually moved faster and done more things than even I anticipated.
00:19:06.000 I mean, I was hopeful is what I wanted to see happen, but we've been moving at breakneck speed.
00:19:13.000 Obviously, everybody pays attention to oversight and judiciary, but even in the other committees, homeland, you know, agriculture, natural resources, my other committee, financial services, we're all moving at warp speed.
00:19:28.000 You know, on financial services, I'm on the ESG task force appointed by Chairman McHenry on that task force.
00:19:35.000 I mean, we're really looking into everything.
00:19:38.000 And so, you know, that really has me optimistic.
00:19:41.000 The second part is, you know, the members want to do the work.
00:19:45.000 You know, the members are excited about being in the majority.
00:19:48.000 They want to hold this administration accountable, just like everybody watching your show and people who listen to shows and are activists, patriots, conservatives, people who just want to see the country back on track.
00:20:01.000 But this crop of Republicans is committed to that work.
00:20:03.000 So it's not been a thing where you have members saying, ooh, maybe we shouldn't go here.
00:20:07.000 Ooh, maybe we should stay away from that.
00:20:09.000 What's the New York Times going to say?
00:20:11.000 What might CNN run?
00:20:13.000 Everybody's like, no, let's just go get it done.
00:20:15.000 And so that's kind of the attitude and the atmosphere right now, you know, amongst House Republicans.
00:20:20.000 And I think it's a good thing.
00:20:22.000 So I want to get into one of the specific stories here that really caught my eye.
00:20:26.000 Key Hunter Biden Associate is now cooperating with Congress, opening a crucial window into Joe Biden's dealings.
00:20:33.000 Can you tell us who this person is, Eric Schwerin?
00:20:38.000 Is he testifying mostly privately right now?
00:20:40.000 What's the strategy and why is this important?
00:20:43.000 Well, you know, what he's doing right now, these are private testimonies, private questioning, really going through all of his accounts.
00:20:51.000 And then, you know, you may or may not see him in a public hearing.
00:20:55.000 You know, that still remains to be seen.
00:20:57.000 But Mr. Schwarren, he was in the investment business.
00:21:00.000 He was a business dealer that did work with Hunter Biden for some time.
00:21:05.000 And so he has key information about what not just Hunter.
00:21:09.000 And I think the person who gets left out is Jim Biden, Joe Biden's brother, who's also a very key part of all of this stuff and what the Biden family dealings are.
00:21:19.000 And frankly, how their entire business apparatus is about selling influence from one Joe Biden.
00:21:26.000 And so the reason why this is such a focal point for us is because Joe Biden is making decisions, not just domestically, but internationally every single day right now based on compromise deals he might have made previously.
00:21:40.000 That's the key point.
00:21:41.000 And so, you know, the guys on the other networks are all like, you're just trying to play got you.
00:21:45.000 There's nothing got you with that with business deals for your family with the Chinese and other countries when the guy sitting in the White House is also making said deals.
00:21:54.000 And we want to make sure that he's not compromised.
00:21:56.000 That seems to be a very simple one that requires oversight.
00:22:00.000 Yeah.
00:22:00.000 Not hard.
00:22:01.000 And but here's my fear, Byron, and maybe you can alleviate me of my concern that the Bidens are crafty.
00:22:07.000 Hunter is not.
00:22:08.000 He's a sloppy person, obviously, leaving laptops and stuff.
00:22:11.000 But I'm worried that you might be wasting valuable time, not wasting, using valuable time just going after the Biden associates to only find things that we probably already know and reconfirm suspicions we already have.
00:22:28.000 Can you alleviate my concern that you think this is the best use of the time of multiple things for the House Oversight Committee?
00:22:35.000 Well, one thing is that this is not the only thing House Oversight is doing.
00:22:38.000 I mean, we already started stuff dealing with Twitter and the social media companies.
00:22:42.000 We're not going to let go of the rope on that with respect to not just the FBI, but other elements of the government suppressing free speech.
00:22:50.000 We're on that.
00:22:51.000 We're going to be on the border.
00:22:52.000 We have another hearing on Afghanistan that's coming up in a couple of weeks.
00:22:55.000 Like there's other things we're doing well.
00:22:56.000 But the reason why it's important to get the foundation right is that if you're ever going to make the critical ties to Joe Biden, it can't just be a rush to judgment.
00:23:09.000 Think that where the Democrats' oversight attempts were just completely ridiculous, that everything was about Donald Trump.
00:23:17.000 And they tried moving heaven and earth to criminalize the man.
00:23:21.000 And so much so that they never laid a foundation for why you were even looking in that direction.
00:23:26.000 And so, you know, if you look at the chain of evidence, it's pretty clear.
00:23:30.000 You know, my feelings are clear.
00:23:31.000 I think that Joe Biden's decisions are compromised by his sons and his brother's business dealings.
00:23:36.000 But I see that.
00:23:37.000 But you got to make that case to the American if you're going to take legal action or other action.
00:23:41.000 It's not just one.
00:23:42.000 It's every theater we're currently involved in.
00:23:45.000 So it's, is Joe Biden's decision making on his recent trip to Europe?
00:23:49.000 Are there potential points of blackmail or bribery or deals that were done in Ukraine?
00:23:55.000 Ukraine was a centerpiece for the Biden family making money.
00:23:58.000 It's not a conspiracy theory.
00:23:59.000 He made money sitting on the board of Burisma.
00:24:01.000 So is that still involved?
00:24:02.000 Is that factoring that Joe Biden's decisions?
00:24:04.000 But then let's go to the Asian theater.
00:24:06.000 As the Chinese Communist Party decides to get more aggressive, is any of our decision not to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon, did it factor into Joe Biden's calculus that they might, A, have the goods on Joe and his family, or B, that he looked at that as some sort of like, hey, I don't want to upset the gravy train or the ATM.
00:24:24.000 Is that a stretch too far, Byron?
00:24:26.000 Am I looking, am I thinking about this correctly?
00:24:29.000 I don't think so because it was very clear that his son and his brother had business dealings with the Chinese.
00:24:34.000 I mean, look, I go a step further than just the balloon.
00:24:36.000 Our entire energy plan or lack thereof by Joe Biden is the centerpiece of it is getting batteries, solar panels, and minerals from China.
00:24:47.000 Well, they were selling mines to Chinese companies.
00:24:51.000 This is what Joe Biden's feeling about.
00:24:53.000 That's so important.
00:24:53.000 I got to pause you.
00:24:54.000 Can you just tell our audience what you mean by that?
00:24:56.000 You cannot get this green energy environmentalist nonsense without batteries, cobalt more specifically.
00:25:03.000 And they've decided they don't want to use any American mineral deposits.
00:25:07.000 They want to get that from China.
00:25:08.000 So in a weird way, the environmental crusade, he's against our own fossil fuels actually enriches China.
00:25:16.000 100% correct.
00:25:17.000 To build, to make electric batteries, you need cobalt, lithium, rare earth, nickel, a couple other key critical minerals.
00:25:25.000 Joe Biden's administration is against mining for any of that in the United States, or frankly, getting or sourcing that stuff from allied countries of others.
00:25:34.000 Meanwhile, the Chinese are dominating the critical minerals environment.
00:25:39.000 Hunter Biden and Jim Biden helped facilitate some of those mining deals to Chinese companies.
00:25:45.000 And one of the centerpieces of Joe Biden's administration is electric vehicles for all and all the other.
00:25:52.000 But ladies and gentlemen, those batteries, the core piece and components of those batteries come from China.
00:25:57.000 It doesn't matter if they're manual, if they're put together in India or Singapore or whatever the case might be.
00:26:03.000 The core mineral contents come from China.
00:26:06.000 And here's the irony, just so everyone understands.
00:26:08.000 So there's massive mineral deposits, for example, in Texas, right?
00:26:12.000 That very well could be used and utilized for nickel-cobalt, as you mentioned.
00:26:16.000 Do you know the reason they use not to be able to use those rare earth minerals?
00:26:21.000 The environment.
00:26:22.000 So here they are saying that we need electric cars for the environment, but we're not allowed to explore our own minerals to build the batteries needed in the electric vehicles because the environment is a problem.
00:26:34.000 So we'd rather have it happen in China.
00:26:37.000 Yeah, you're exactly right.
00:26:39.000 And so this is why it's so mind-boggling.
00:26:41.000 But when you bring in the family situation, the business dealings around the globe, the other deals that we don't know about, frankly, that have existed around the globe, and you tie that in with this policy agenda, then it looks incredibly seedy, backhanded, self-dealing, double-dealing from the bottom of the deck, however you want to characterize it.
00:27:01.000 It all looks bad.
00:27:02.000 The American people should be aware of what the president is doing in this regard.
00:27:07.000 Then you take a look at all the other issues that have gone wrong since he's been president.
00:27:11.000 And then you have an ability to hold this administration accountable.
00:27:15.000 So that way, if we say, look, here's what's happening.
00:27:17.000 Your family was doing business deals over here that we should not be sourcing that material from over there.
00:27:22.000 That's a legislative function.
00:27:23.000 Or if it's even going as far as, listen, family members can't be involved in international business transactions with somebody who's a sitting president because, you know. you might have implications on the decision-making process.
00:27:36.000 These are things that are critical for the American people to understand and Congress has a responsibility to investigate.
00:27:42.000 So closing here, debt ceiling, it's coming up.
00:27:46.000 What is your opinion on it?
00:27:47.000 What should the strategy be?
00:27:48.000 The turtle in the Senate looks like full all-out capitulation.
00:27:52.000 He's going to give Biden whatever he wants.
00:27:53.000 It's going to come down to the House.
00:27:55.000 This deadline is looming a couple of weeks, if I'm not mistaken.
00:27:58.000 What do you think the strategy needs to be for House Republicans?
00:28:01.000 So this is going to be a tough one because I really think that we might have to take one or two bites at the apple here.
00:28:07.000 Some people might want to hear about a short-term deal.
00:28:10.000 But the way this is laid out, if you do a debt ceiling deal in June, there might be one or two or a handful of things that you might be able to get.
00:28:18.000 But the Democrats are going to want to extend the debt ceiling past the presidential election.
00:28:22.000 That's about $2.6 trillion, give and take.
00:28:25.000 Well, unless you're getting massive spending reforms, I'm not giving you $2.6 trillion on a debt ceiling.
00:28:32.000 In September, we have the omnibus or not the omnibus.
00:28:35.000 We have the new budgetary funding for the government that's coming up because that was stupid deal they did in December.
00:28:40.000 They stole nine months of Congress from you.
00:28:43.000 That's exactly right.
00:28:45.000 And so if you try to find a way to combine the two or have debt ceiling go after the spending packages have to get done, it gives House Republicans more leverage.
00:28:54.000 By the way, people need to understand the timing of debt ceiling was done on purpose by Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer.
00:29:02.000 It was laid this way on purpose so that it had to go first so that it didn't put us in the best position.
00:29:09.000 But the thing that they never counted on is that you have House Republicans who mean business.
00:29:13.000 And I think that that's what's been indicative these first two months.
00:29:17.000 And we're not going to take some sloppy deal or a side deal to just move the debt ceiling along.
00:29:23.000 So that's why I think we might get one or two bites at it.
00:29:26.000 And Kevin's been fighting.
00:29:27.000 And we have to make sure we just say to Kevin and his team, hey, you're not going to do a deal with Democrats.
00:29:33.000 Okay.
00:29:33.000 You're not going to get the debt ceiling without Republicans getting what they want.
00:29:38.000 Because that Boehner used to do.
00:29:39.000 Boehner used to do stuff like that all the time.
00:29:41.000 Sorry, closing thoughts, Byron.
00:29:43.000 One, that ain't going to happen.
00:29:44.000 Two, I'm glad that it's not that good.
00:29:46.000 If it comes up, it's going to be a problem.
00:29:47.000 Yeah, good.
00:29:49.000 So that's really good to hear.
00:29:51.000 I don't even think they're entertaining it, but Boehner did that all the time.
00:29:55.000 He'd be like, oh, I don't need you.
00:29:57.000 He would just go to the Democrats and be like, let's just raise the debt ceiling.
00:30:00.000 And Republicans were left holding the bag.
00:30:02.000 I appreciate it.
00:30:02.000 Byron, thank you so much.
00:30:04.000 Anytime.

00:31:05.000 Check it out.
00:31:08.000 Ben Burkwam is here.
00:31:11.000 Ben is live in Yuma, Arizona.
00:31:13.000 Let's play Cut 123 as a little bit of warm-up, and then we'll go right to Ben.
00:31:16.000 Play Cut 123.
00:31:18.000 Big group.
00:31:19.000 So they've already had close to 300 tonight.
00:31:21.000 The second group that they've had.
00:31:24.000 And now, you know, you see the Border Patrol assets that are having to be utilized here.
00:31:31.000 The cars, the personnel.
00:31:33.000 And what they're worried about is where are their groups of one or two or four that are coming through while everyone's focused on the immigration processing here.
00:31:43.000 Ben, what did you see on the border last evening?
00:31:47.000 Well, unfortunately, I saw more of the same, the open borders that Joe Biden and the left and Secretary Marorcus have invited into our country.
00:31:56.000 But we are seeing a few shifts.
00:31:58.000 One of those being China, huge numbers from China coming across.
00:32:02.000 And in speaking with Matt Gates, Congressman Matt Gates, again, it was an honor to be out there with him last night.
00:32:07.000 One of the hardest working congressional representatives we have, one of the biggest fighters we have out there.
00:32:12.000 But these huge numbers from China, large numbers still coming from the Middle East, all over.
00:32:17.000 And the moral of the story is nothing that the left is doing, nothing that Joe Biden's doing is doing anything to slow down this unprecedented invasion of our country by countries that are hostile to our nation.
00:32:30.000 Whether or not the Chinese nationals that are coming in want to get away from the CCP or communism or they're coming as bad actors working for the CCP, then we really don't know that.
00:32:40.000 And that's the reason why we have to have a secure border and legal immigration processes, which have just been completely undermined by this current administration.
00:32:49.000 Play cut 123, Jonathan from Yuma.
00:32:51.000 He's actually given me a tour of the border.
00:32:51.000 I know him.
00:32:54.000 He talks about how the cartel has a stash house right on the other side of the border.
00:32:57.000 500,000 illegals come through, each paying a minimum of $6,000.
00:33:01.000 This is modern day slavery.
00:33:02.000 Left doesn't care.
00:33:03.000 Left supports it.
00:33:04.000 Left is pro open borders, which is modern day slavery.
00:33:08.000 And they lecture us that we are systemically racist.
00:33:10.000 It's ridiculous.
00:33:11.000 It's laughable.
00:33:12.000 The cartel owns many aspects of the American political system.
00:33:16.000 The Mexican government could end this tomorrow if we actually had a president that cared about it.
00:33:20.000 Let's play cut 124.
00:33:22.000 Essentially, the reservation here begins.
00:33:27.000 And then right where that car is driving, Matt, just this side, there's a large date grove of trees right there.
00:33:34.000 Inside of that is one of the drop houses.
00:33:37.000 And so they will come from the Mexican airport.
00:33:39.000 They will wait right there.
00:33:40.000 And then they will cross in groups.
00:33:44.000 I mean, how many people do you think have been processed through that drop house?
00:33:47.000 Because you and I have been to this exact spot.
00:33:49.000 500,000 people at a minimum of $6,000 a person.
00:33:56.000 500,000 people at minimum of $6,000 a person.
00:34:00.000 Ben, this is rather sophisticated, and the government just doesn't care.
00:34:04.000 It's a huge operation.
00:34:06.000 Cartels have increased their profits.
00:34:08.000 A lot of you know this by 2,500%.
00:34:11.000 Last year, President Trump was around $500 million.
00:34:14.000 The cartel profited the cartels.
00:34:16.000 Now it's over $13 billion.
00:34:18.000 And this is simply going into the pockets of the cartels, but it's also going into the pockets of Democrats, socialists, communists, these leftists in America, the NGOs in America, and many of the governments outside of this country.
00:34:30.000 And I think the moral of the story of this is, you know, Kamala Harris goes around, does her pretend root cause analysis.
00:34:36.000 The moral of the story is the root cause is the left.
00:34:39.000 It's communism, it's socialism, it's corruption in all of these countries.
00:34:42.000 That's why we're seeing so many Brazilians leave Brazil now to escape Lula.
00:34:46.000 That's why we're seeing so many from Peru come.
00:34:48.000 Obviously, the Venezuelans and Cubans, but it's all by design to destroy this country from within.
00:34:54.000 It's all tied together.
00:34:55.000 This is why they had to throw everything they possibly could at Kerry Lake, and it's just so tragic.
00:34:59.000 This is why you had all those because Kerry Lake, she pledged to stop this day one.
00:35:04.000 Katie Hobbs, she loves this.
00:35:06.000 Katie Hobbs is celebrating.
00:35:08.000 She is dancing.
00:35:10.000 She is enthusiastic with 7,000 illegals crossing every day.
00:35:15.000 Ben, closing thoughts.
00:35:17.000 The cartels took over Arizona when they stole the election from Kerry Lake.
00:35:21.000 That's the bottom line.
00:35:22.000 We have a Secretary of State that is owned by the cartels in Arizona now.
00:35:25.000 Yep, Adrian Fontes.
00:35:27.000 You have Katie Hobbs, who's an enthusiastic promoter of this.
00:35:30.000 It's a tragedy.
00:35:31.000 It is.
00:35:32.000 We can't give up, but I'll tell you what, the Kerry Lake deal was really the solution for so much of this.
00:35:38.000 She had a plan.
00:35:39.000 She had the willingness.
00:35:39.000 She had the courage.
00:35:40.000 She had all of this.
00:35:42.000 And Ben, keep up the great work.
00:35:44.000 We appreciate it.
00:35:44.000 And by the way, on the Cary Lake front, we're going to have some breaking news with Cary Lake beginning of next week.
00:35:50.000 So, Ben, thank you so much.
00:35:53.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:35:54.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:35:58.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
