The Charlie Kirk Show - A Last-Ditch Smear Against MAGA

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:01.000 Andrew Colvett filling in one more time for Charlie Kirk, who is on assignment at San Diego State University.

00:00:07.000 I welcome Libby Emmons in, editor-in-chief from the Postmillennial, as well as Senator JD Vance, who's campaigning with Bernie Moreno in Ohio, who's now ahead in the polls.

00:00:16.000 Thank goodness.

00:00:17.000 It's the only America First candidate in that race.

00:00:20.000 And we talk about the SCOTUS arguments that are ongoing, more bloodbath smear talk, and how the AP are a bunch of establishment hacks that attack America first candidates like Bernie Moreno.

00:00:32.000 JD Vance has the goods.

00:00:33.000 We also ask him about whether or not he's interested in being Trump's VP candidate, as his name is getting floated.

00:00:39.000 You're not going to miss this episode.

00:00:41.000 Buckle up. 0.96

00:00:42.000 Here we go.

00:00:43.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:45.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:00:47.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:50.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:53.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:54.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:55.000 His spirit, his love of this country.

00:00:57.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:01:02.000 Turning point USA.

00:01:04.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:13.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:41.000 I'm so excited about our next guest, Libby Evans.

00:01:44.000 She is the editor-in-chief, the Postmillennial and Human Events.

00:01:48.000 So please check out her stuff.

00:01:49.000 Libby, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:01:52.000 Andrew, glad to be here.

00:01:53.000 Yeah, I'm so glad you're here.

00:01:54.000 You know, you're one of my favorite guests because you are, you know, there's a, I mean, I'm trying to be nice to our friends in the conservative movement, but sometimes there is a lack of connection between the importance of culture and politics, policies, and merging and bridging those two worlds is something that I think you do better than anybody.

00:02:15.000 You have a sort of people that know your background.

00:02:17.000 You were in the arts.

00:02:18.000 You were a playwright at one time.

00:02:20.000 You're in New York City and you've been massively red-pilled.

00:02:23.000 So you get it as much as anybody gets it.

00:02:26.000 So when we're analyzing this bloodbath hoax, you put out a video that went viral over the weekend, and I wanted to have you on to just describe it because I think you put it so succinctly.

00:02:35.000 Break it down what you see in this latest hoax and what is really going on behind the scenes.

00:02:43.000 Libby Evans.

00:02:45.000 Yeah, it's really like they just want to do it.

00:02:47.000 And by they, I mean Democrats and the mainstream media apparatus that the Democrats essentially control and who perhaps control the Democrats right back.

00:02:55.000 We see this all the time.

00:02:57.000 They come out with, you know, quoting Trump entirely out of context, quoting conservatives entirely out of context.

00:03:04.000 They did this recently with Bombs of Liberty on 60 Minutes, and it happens across the board.

00:03:08.000 We just keep seeing it.

00:03:09.000 So on Saturday, we had Donald Trump giving a rally in Ohio.

00:03:14.000 He was talking about the auto industry, which is, of course, very important to the American economy and to innovation.

00:03:20.000 So he's out there.

00:03:21.000 He's saying that Biden's policies on EVs are really bad, that his trade policies are bad, that Chinese manufacturers will seek to create factories in Mexico and import those cars into the U.S. for very low cost, that this would be very bad for the American auto industry.

00:03:38.000 And he said that in the event that these policies are allowed to continue to fester and continue to have an impact on the American economy, in that if he's not elected, they will because Biden will continue it, then there will be essentially an economic bloodbath.

00:03:52.000 This is the term that he used.

00:03:53.000 So of course, right away, we had Democrats, The Biden campaign, not the administration.

00:04:00.000 It's hard to tell the difference there.

00:04:01.000 I got to say, they came out.

00:04:03.000 Nancy Pelosi went on CNN was talking about it.

00:04:06.000 Everyone went nuts and said, Donald Trump is going for violence if he doesn't win the election.

00:04:12.000 And they just totally freaked out. 0.99

00:04:14.000 It was ridiculous. 0.95

00:04:15.000 And everyone could see that it was a lie.

00:04:18.000 What was fascinating this time around?

00:04:20.000 We've had so many hoaxes, right?

00:04:21.000 They had the Russia collusion hoax.

00:04:23.000 There was the P-Tape hoax, January 6th, a hoax.

00:04:26.000 I mean, just, you know, keep going. 0.98

00:04:29.000 They come up with ridiculous things and say, Trump is, you know, horrible, all of this stuff. 0.99

00:04:34.000 You even had Nancy Pelosi thing, these ridiculous things. 1.00

00:04:38.000 So, yeah.

00:04:38.000 So, this time, what happened, however, was that because X is now a free speech platform, people were just like, You're lying.

00:04:47.000 It's obvious you're lying, and we're all going to point it out.

00:04:49.000 And our posts are not going to be deboosted.

00:04:51.000 We're not going to be censored.

00:04:52.000 We're not going to be suppressed because we can actually speak our minds.

00:04:56.000 I love the X tie-in because this is why they hate Elon Musk so much.

00:05:00.000 I mean, people don't realize that Musk has been targeted, at least maybe not as much as Trump, but he's definitely from a lawfare standpoint, the second most targeted man in America.

00:05:11.000 Blake has been keeping an active list of all the lawsuits that he's now facing from the Department of Justice claiming he's not hiring enough refugees and asylum seekers at SpaceX to his compensation at Tesla, being blocked by a judge.

00:05:28.000 But he's being sued in multiple different jurisdictions.

00:05:32.000 And why?

00:05:33.000 Because he now controls X, which is the incubator of elite opinion in this country.

00:05:39.000 And, you know, it may not have the largest user base of all the social platforms, but it may be the most influential.

00:05:45.000 It is that important because, again, this is where elite opinion starts.

00:05:50.000 It gets incubated here.

00:05:52.000 And I just love what you were doing, Libby.

00:05:55.000 It's almost impossible to remember all of the hoaxes that we've had.

00:06:01.000 Yeah, Charlie did a probably not comprehensive list on Twitter this morning.

00:06:06.000 So Russia, Russia, Russia, Jesse Smollett, MAGA country, 100% safe and effective.

00:06:10.000 Hunter's laptop was Russian disinfo.

00:06:13.000 COVID came from the wet market. 0.79

00:06:15.000 2020 was the most secure election in U.S. history.

00:06:18.000 Very fine people hoax.

00:06:19.000 The border is secure. 0.99

00:06:20.000 Boys can be girls. 0.77

00:06:21.000 Jim Crow 2.0.

00:06:22.000 Inflation is transitory.

00:06:24.000 Modern monetary theory.

00:06:25.000 Zelensky's Churchill to fund the police and we'll have safer streets.

00:06:28.000 Defenders of democracy work to remove Trump from democracy.

00:06:31.000 America was founded in 1619 and more.

00:06:34.000 There was the Hitler hoax. 0.75

00:06:36.000 There was. 0.88

00:06:37.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:06:38.000 There's just been so much.

00:06:40.000 Yeah.

00:06:41.000 But what's crazy, Libby, is that they are doubling down.

00:06:44.000 Joe Scarborough is doubling down.

00:06:46.000 CNN's doubling down.

00:06:47.000 They actually think they have something here.

00:06:50.000 Or is this just they have to double down?

00:06:54.000 Yeah, they don't.

00:06:54.000 And we also have a clip of Joe Biden in 2020 saying, you know, if Bernie Sanders, something, something, there's going to be a bloodbath.

00:07:04.000 So we see this all the time.

00:07:05.000 This is a standard term that is used for economic problems in the United States.

00:07:11.000 And you can just go back.

00:07:12.000 I keep seeing people on X putting up screenshots of like, you know, bloodbath in Bitcoin, bloodbath in, you know, the auto industry, bloodbath in Hollywood, bloodbath in media.

00:07:23.000 I mean, it's all right.

00:07:24.000 I have to do it then.

00:07:25.000 We have a clip.

00:07:26.000 We have a clip of this from Tom from, I think it's Selliot, actually.

00:07:31.000 But anyways, Cut 16.

00:07:33.000 Columnist Charles Blow has a new piece for the New York Times entitled A Biden Bloodbath.

00:07:38.000 2018 midterms.

00:07:39.000 You can bet that they 100% are fearing a slaughter.

00:07:42.000 In fact, the word bloodbath and massacre come up frequently.

00:07:46.000 The Republican Party will be destroyed.

00:07:48.000 It's going to be a bloodbath.

00:07:49.000 There's going to be a bloodbath one way or the other.

00:07:51.000 Bloodbath.

00:07:51.000 For Bernie Sanders.

00:07:52.000 It's been a bloodbath.

00:07:54.000 They're shaping up to be a bloodbath.

00:07:56.000 Head off a bloodbath in next year's crucial midterm.

00:07:58.000 Off-year elections are often a bloodbath.

00:08:01.000 This week's bloodbath for Democrats.

00:08:03.000 A bloodbath at the ballot box.

00:08:06.000 But now all of a sudden, it's terrible.

00:08:11.000 Yeah.

00:08:12.000 Yet, if Trump says it, it's violence.

00:08:15.000 And this goes back to, of course, these pundits have no idea who Trump is.

00:08:18.000 They don't understand him.

00:08:19.000 They don't understand his voters. 0.99

00:08:21.000 And they just keep trying and coming up with these ridiculous things. 0.97

00:08:25.000 I think Charlie covered the white rural rage situation very well. 0.99

00:08:29.000 You know, that was ridiculous. 1.00

00:08:32.000 Across the board. 0.98

00:08:33.000 Yeah.

00:08:34.000 So, so the more we see them freak out, the more we know that we are doing well.

00:08:39.000 However, one thing, and this is something I was talking to Jack Kosovic about this morning, is that why didn't we see conservatives coming out on the Sunday morning shows pushing back against this?

00:08:49.000 Why haven't we been seeing fighting back about this?

00:08:51.000 Why haven't we been seeing resistance to these lies?

00:08:55.000 Why do we just keep seeing, you know, media from the conservative side, politicians just letting these lies wash over them and letting it just go unchallenged?

00:09:05.000 I don't understand that.

00:09:07.000 Well, you know, I think you made two really interesting points there.

00:09:10.000 One is that they don't understand who Trump is.

00:09:17.000 They genuinely don't.

00:09:19.000 I actually think that some of this media coverage of Trump comes from a sincere place where they are just completely so deranged in their thinking about him that they do think he's Hitler. 0.60

00:09:29.000 They do think he wants to be a fascist.

00:09:31.000 And it's funny because it's that classic eye of the beholder where I'll hear him say something and I completely understand what he means.

00:09:39.000 He's either joking or he's being flip or he's, you know, the whole NATO thing, you know, he's talking smack to NATO to get them to pay up.

00:09:50.000 He's not going to like, you know, let Putin run over France.

00:09:54.000 I mean, but he wants Europe to defend itself in a more robust way.

00:10:00.000 But there's multiple examples of this is that, you know, I think not only do they not understand him, but then when the Republicans fail to come to his defense, it's because so many of our credentialed elite Republicans find Trump to be a gross ogre, for lack of a better expression.

00:10:18.000 They actually support him through grit teeth.

00:10:22.000 They really genuinely don't want to be the big Trump booster.

00:10:27.000 They just, they want to sort of keep him at arm's length.

00:10:30.000 And so you get this tepid establishment Republican response over and over and over again.

00:10:35.000 This is what we were fighting at the RNC and in so many different aspects of conservative politics.

00:10:41.000 If we would just get behind this man, he is a secret weapon of getting out the vote like no other we've seen in generations.

00:10:49.000 Are you ready to lose weight, but not sure where to start?

00:10:51.000 I understand.

00:10:51.000 I was right where you are two years ago.

00:10:53.000 Let me tell you why I chose the PhD weight loss and nutrition program.

00:11:00.000 Her program is based on years of research and is science-based.

00:11:03.000 Second, the PhD program starts nutrition.

00:11:12.000 There's no shortcuts, pills, or injections, just solid science-based nutrition and behavior change.

00:11:16.000 And finally, probably most importantly, I lost 30 pounds.

00:11:19.000 Look, they're amazing.

00:11:20.000 If you want to lose weight, you got to go to myphdweightloss.com.

00:11:38.000 Dr. Ashley Lucas has her PhD in chronic disease and sports nutrition.

00:11:42.000 Her program is based on years of research and is science-based.

00:11:45.000 Second, the PhD program starts nutrition, but it's so much more.

00:11:56.000 Dr. Ashley Lucas, great American.

00:11:57.000 Check it out.

00:11:58.000 Myphdweightloss.com.

00:12:02.000 Libby, you have been listening this morning to these two SCODIS.

00:12:05.000 Actually, I believe it was just Missouri v. Biden that was going on this morning.

00:12:09.000 What these stories are connected, the bloodbath hoax and free speech.

00:12:13.000 And, you know, you mentioned X.

00:12:15.000 And in a previous iteration of X, we would have been censored or throttled for stating the obvious that this is a hoax.

00:12:22.000 Now we're free to say it.

00:12:23.000 Explain the importance of these cases on what you're hearing this morning.

00:12:26.000 I know you were listening in.

00:12:27.000 Yeah, so we had Missouri, which was this fascinating case brought by Bailey, who was the attorney general for Missouri, who said that the Biden administration had been colluding with social media companies to censor and suppress Americans online.

00:12:42.000 He was talking about COVID.

00:12:44.000 He was talking about J6.

00:12:45.000 He was talking about, you know, various other things that, yes, are Trump-related, you know, suppressing conservatives specifically.

00:12:53.000 There was also the case about the NRA, where the NRA has alleged that Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo, when he was governor, was preventing the NRA from getting insurance and all kinds of things, basically targeting them over their stance on the Second Amendment and gun rights for Americans.

00:13:13.000 So, yeah, they were both really fascinating cases.

00:13:15.000 And I was listening rather closely.

00:13:17.000 I'm not a Supreme Court expert, but I have been following the Missouri case for a while.

00:13:21.000 And I have been following the Supreme Court, of course, for decades.

00:13:25.000 So it's pretty interesting to hear some of this stuff finally show up.

00:13:29.000 We heard conservatives for years saying that they were being suppressed online.

00:13:34.000 And it was almost sort of a given.

00:13:35.000 You just kind of knew if you posted the wrong thing, it was going to get deboosted.

00:13:39.000 You were risking having your account banned, specifically on Twitter or being pushed down the algorithm on Facebook.

00:13:47.000 And that was clear.

00:13:48.000 We saw that.

00:13:48.000 So a big part of the argument this morning really seemed to be about the difference between coercion and persuasion.

00:13:56.000 So you had the government's attorneys saying that Biden and the federal government has the right to get out there on the bully pulpit and say what they think, and that perhaps media companies, social media companies will go along with their view.

00:14:10.000 And you have Missouri going out there saying, no, that's not what happened here.

00:14:14.000 What happened here is that behind closed doors, the Biden administration was conferring with social media executives and telling them exactly what they thought should be pulled.

00:14:23.000 Now, if you look back, so that's fascinating already, right?

00:14:27.000 The difference between the attorneys for the government saying, oh, they were just out there persuading.

00:14:32.000 You know, you give a speech and then people go along with it.

00:14:35.000 That's not coercion.

00:14:36.000 That's just, you know, common sense.

00:14:38.000 They're just doing what they think is right.

00:14:40.000 And then you have the attorneys, you know, for Missouri basically saying, and Missouri's constituents saying, you know, that's not what was happening here.

00:14:48.000 This was actually direct coercion.

00:14:50.000 What I did not hear was, you know, a lot of evidence being brought up, which typically we aren't going to hear in the oral arguments.

00:14:57.000 But we all saw when the Twitter files were published or when Jim Jordan went and did the Facebook files to find similar things.

00:15:04.000 And in both cases, what we saw was correspondence from officials in the federal government directly to social media companies saying, hey, you know, here's a website that's pretty bad and goes against everything.

00:15:17.000 So pull that down. 0.98

00:15:19.000 What we saw was that happening with the Hunter Biden laptop, which was one of the hoaxes that you mentioned.

00:15:24.000 In October 2020, Emma Joe Morris, New York Post, pushed this article, published this article showing all of this crazy stuff, influence peddling as evidenced on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop.

00:15:37.000 And we had directly the Biden campaign going out there and trying to get, you know, people in the intelligence agency to say that it was fake.

00:15:46.000 And they did that.

00:15:47.000 And Politico ran this headline.

00:15:50.000 The globalists are making it very clear that another pandemic could be just around the corner.

00:15:54.000 They want us to live in fear, to be willing to sacrifice our freedoms.

00:15:57.000 It doesn't have to be this way.

00:15:58.000 You need to be prepared, not scared.

00:16:00.000 That's why you need the wellness company.

00:16:01.000 The wellness company and their doctors are medical professionals that you can trust.

00:16:05.000 Their medical emergency kits are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy.

00:16:10.000 Be ready for anything.

00:16:10.000 I can 100% endorse this company.

00:16:13.000 They are amazing.

00:16:14.000 Rest assured knowing that you have emergency antibiotics, antivirals, and anti-parasitics on hand to help keep you and your family safe from whatever the globalists throw at us next.

00:16:39.000 All right.

00:16:40.000 So without further ado, we have the great senator from the state of Ohio, JD Vance, joining the show.

00:16:45.000 Senator, welcome.

00:16:47.000 Thanks, man.

00:16:47.000 Good to be with you.

00:16:49.000 Yeah, absolutely.

00:16:50.000 Okay, so you are currently on the road now with Bernie Moreno, who, according to new polling, is leading in the GOP primary in that state.

00:16:59.000 Just start off, I want to get into this whole crazy story, but start off by telling our audience about how that's going, the energy on the ground, and who Bernie Moreno is for those who don't know yet.

00:17:11.000 Yeah, so the energy on the ground is great.

00:17:14.000 We're barnstorming right now with Terry Lake and Bernie Burrito.

00:17:18.000 We had two events already today.

00:17:19.000 We're headed to one in Toledo, and then we'll close up Monday evening with a rally in Parma, Ohio, which is a suburb of Cleveland.

00:17:27.000 Look, people know Bernie Murillo is the true American first conservative in this race.

00:17:32.000 Donald Trump came and did a rally for Bernie on Saturday.

00:17:36.000 I've endorsed him.

00:17:36.000 Trump has endorsed him.

00:17:37.000 Jim Jordan endorsed him.

00:17:39.000 So we have a great cast of characters and leaders who have gotten behind Bernie's campaign.

00:17:44.000 I don't take anything for granted.

00:17:46.000 Yes, you're right.

00:17:46.000 Some good polling has come out just in the past couple minutes, and that's a very good thing.

00:17:50.000 But you can't take any of this stuff for granted because the establishment has thrown everything that they possibly can at Bernie.

00:17:58.000 And I think it's very simple why, right?

00:17:59.000 If you sort of go to the most important issue of the day, immigration, Joe Biden's open border, you have a lot of Rhino establishment candidates who are saying we need to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. 0.88

00:18:10.000 Bernie's the only one with the courage to stand up and say we need to support illegal aliens or they're going to keep on coming.

00:18:16.000 So Bernie Murillo is the guy.

00:18:17.000 Hope everyone who's listening from the state of Ohio will get out there and vote for him tomorrow.

00:18:22.000 Yeah, and the polling you're referencing, and again, we yeah, we take this with a grain of salt, but Emerson College says that Ohio Republican primary voters, 38% of likely voters are going to support Moreno.

00:18:35.000 That's compared to 29% in support of Matt Dolan and 12% in support of Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose.

00:18:43.000 So very, very good poll numbers that have come out from over the weekend and just got reported now, just a few minutes ago.

00:18:49.000 So that's encouraging, Senator.

00:18:52.000 But there is another storyline.

00:18:54.000 And when you say that the establishment has thrown everything they can at Bernie, this story is crazy from the AP.

00:19:01.000 So the AP basically, you know, and I frankly don't want to get into all the Tor details here, but they're alleging that he made an account on Adult Friend Finder back in 2008.

00:19:12.000 And they say they had geo-locating data that they now claim now they admit they don't have.

00:19:18.000 I have to say one other thing before I throw it to you, Senator.

00:19:21.000 I saw the byline on this story from a guy named Brian Sladisco.

00:19:26.000 And we with Charlie have had history with this guy.

00:19:29.000 He is an establishment hack attack dog.

00:19:33.000 And when you just have to look at this guy, he literally gets dispatched, I think, from the establishment to go hit on American first candidates and America first patriots in the political area.

00:19:45.000 And I have never had such a terrible experience working with a reporter because I handle some of this for Charlie.

00:19:54.000 This guy, Brian Sladisco.

00:19:55.000 So, when I saw the byline, I instantly knew, JD, that this story had way more to it.

00:20:01.000 So, give us the update.

00:20:03.000 What now is the AP saying with this geo-locating data? 0.94

00:20:08.000 Yeah, so you're right, first of all, Sladisco is one of the worst scumbags in American media, an absolute propagandist.

00:20:15.000 I mean, these guys have just taken harassment to an industrial scale, and they don't even confirm this stuff before they report on it.

00:20:22.000 So, let's just run through a couple pieces of this story.

00:20:25.000 The first is that even according to the AP's own reporting, they couldn't confirm that Bernie started the account.

00:20:35.000 They could confirm that the account was never used.

00:20:38.000 So, you have an account that was arguably not started by Bernie.

00:20:43.000 Certainly, the evidence is that it was started by Bernie.

00:20:45.000 It is 100% certain that it was never used.

00:20:48.000 What is the story there?

00:20:49.000 Why even report that?

00:20:51.000 And the interesting thing is that Sladisco told on himself.

00:20:54.000 The AP told on themselves in their own reporting to the story because they mentioned that this story had been shopped for months before they decided to report on it.

00:21:04.000 And you know what that means?

00:21:06.000 A murderer's row of establishment hack journalists refused to publish this story.

00:21:12.000 That's how thin it was.

00:21:14.000 But the AP decided to run with it days before primary.

00:21:18.000 And I actually think it's backfired and helped Bernie Marino because a lot of our voters recognize that the media goes after the candidates who are actually going to stand up for their values and stand up for their voters.

00:21:29.000 So it's been great to watch this thing unravel.

00:21:33.000 It's been really good for the Bernie campaign, but it just drives home how much when the media comes after us, we don't need old guard folks who bend the knee or run and hide.

00:21:45.000 You need people who are going to fight back against these narratives.

00:21:48.000 That's what Bernie and his campaign did.

00:21:50.000 I'm very proud of them for how they did it.

00:21:52.000 And I think it's going to help them win tomorrow.

00:21:54.000 No, I think you're right.

00:21:55.000 I think it's been an amplifier.

00:21:58.000 It's only let more people know who the America first candidate is in this race.

00:22:04.000 And, you know, kudos to you, JD, and your team for standing by Bernie during this time, but also being early.

00:22:11.000 You know, we're very proud on this show that we were early getting behind you because we knew that you were going to be a fighter in the Senate.

00:22:18.000 You proved that time and time again.

00:22:19.000 You're exactly the man that we knew you were going to be and thought you were going to be going to be.

00:22:24.000 And the fact that you're getting behind Bernie speaks volumes about the kind of senator that he will be.

00:22:30.000 And we need fighters like you in the Senate now more than ever before.

00:22:35.000 What we've seen out of Mitch McConnell's Senate has been disheartening at best.

00:22:41.000 And it just, 2024, November, this could be our best chance to retake the Senate in multiple cycles.

00:22:48.000 We think we have a real good shot, and Bernie's going to be one of those great guys.

00:22:52.000 So now let's go to the general.

00:22:54.000 So if he gets through the primary, which we're not counting our chickens here, but he's going to go up against Sherid Brown.

00:23:00.000 Why has this man proved to be able to win generals in Ohio that's getting redder and redder?

00:23:07.000 Why is he still a senator?

00:23:09.000 And what is it going to take to beat him in November?

00:23:12.000 Well, you know, the Democrats in the state of Ohio for a long time were perceived as the party of working people.

00:23:19.000 You know, I was raised by my grandparents.

00:23:21.000 They were both blue dog Democrats, you know, socially conservative, union steel worker.

00:23:26.000 That was sort of my grandfather.

00:23:27.000 And he's the kind of guy who would have voted Democrat most of his time, like voted for Donald Trump in 2016.

00:23:34.000 That is the type of, I think, Democrat that Ohio has pretended still exists.

00:23:41.000 And unfortunately, it just doesn't exist.

00:23:43.000 I wish it did.

00:23:43.000 Actually, I think our politics would be a lot less crazy if you had some socially conservative pro-worker Democrats, but they've gone extinct.

00:23:51.000 And what you need really to push back against that narrative is you need a candidate, I think, who's had some success in the real world, right?

00:23:57.000 Sort of normal people like it when their political leaders have actually done something before.

00:24:03.000 But you also need a guy with a set of policies that are going to help bring back Americans to manufacturing jobs, that are going to push back against the fact that China's basically stolen our industrial base over 30, 40 years.

00:24:14.000 You really need somebody who's willing to go after those issues.

00:24:17.000 And I think Bernie is exactly that guy.

00:24:20.000 Self-made guy, great American story.

00:24:23.000 Family came to the country legally when he was a kid, and he built the same prosperity for working people across the state of Ohio that he's been able to enjoy for himself.

00:24:35.000 Okay.

00:24:36.000 That is what you need, I think, to beat the Democrats in Ohio.

00:24:39.000 I think Bernie's the right guy for the job.

00:24:41.000 Well, and Sherry Brown's one of these guys. 0.95

00:24:43.000 I totally agree with you.

00:24:44.000 He's one of these guys that presents like a moderate, but then he votes in lockstep with Joe Biden time and time again.

00:24:51.000 And so all of this craziness from the border, from our spending ourselves into oblivion, this is coming out of him lying to the people of Ohio and essentially saying he's somebody he's not.

00:25:03.000 So it's very, very clear that Bernie's a guy that threatens the establishment, threatens the status quo of spend until we're broke, mortgaging our kids' futures.

00:25:15.000 And there needs to be change.

00:25:16.000 And I think this is one of the key pickup spots going into November, guys, in the Senate.

00:25:22.000 So get behind Bernie Moreno for U.S. Senate from the state of Ohio.

00:25:26.000 Donate, volunteer if you're listening in Ohio.

00:25:29.000 There's still time.

00:25:30.000 Get behind this man.

00:25:31.000 He's a good man, and he's being smeared because he's a threat to the establishment.

00:25:35.000 Okay, JD, before I let you go, your name has been floated.

00:25:41.000 And we'd be more than happy if this was the case as a potential VP pick for Trump.

00:25:48.000 How do you respond when people bring up your name in such a way and just break down the presidential context ahead of November?

00:25:58.000 Yeah, well, obviously, it's extremely flattering.

00:26:00.000 And I've told people, look, I want to help the president however I can because I think he's a good man and the country needs him.

00:26:05.000 So if he asked me, certainly I would seriously consider it.

00:26:08.000 I like being a senator and I plan to stay in the United States Senate.

00:26:12.000 I talk to Trump a lot and the president has never once talked to me about this.

00:26:12.000 It's funny.

00:26:16.000 So I am skeptical that he's going to make that ask.

00:26:18.000 But if he does, like I said, certainly would think very seriously about it.

00:26:22.000 You look, the way that I think about this, this present story is pretty straightforward.

00:26:25.000 I mean, obviously, most of your listeners, I hope, you know, believe in President Trump's agenda and think that he's the right guy for the job.

00:26:33.000 We've got to persuade those sort of all-important middle-of-the-road voters that their lives were better under Donald Trump than Joe Biden.

00:26:40.000 And I don't think that's a very hard case to make.

00:26:42.000 I think we've got a really, really compelling case here because Trump's policies bore a lot of fruit.

00:26:48.000 Wages were rising.

00:26:49.000 Inflation was low.

00:26:50.000 The border was controlled.

00:26:52.000 We just have to hammer the message.

00:26:54.000 I mean, what an incredible opportunity we have to say, look, you have the example of what worked and you have the example of what didn't work.

00:27:01.000 You have an opportunity, the American people, do to bring back what works.

00:27:06.000 And I think we're going to win that argument every single day and twice on Sunday.

00:27:10.000 Senator JD Vance, it's an honor to have you on the show and come back again soon.

00:27:14.000 BernieMoreno.com.

00:27:16.000 Get behind Bernie Moreno, the only America First candidate for Senate in Ohio.

00:27:22.000 JD, thank you for your great work and for being an absolute warrior for all of us in D.C. Thanks so much.

00:27:31.000 Take care.

00:27:31.000 Thanks, man.

00:27:32.000 All right.

00:27:35.000 For years, I've been talking about how our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true of your Christian family.

00:27:52.000 And also making the leap, the Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids.

00:27:58.000 Go to Herzogfoundation.com.

00:28:00.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.

00:28:09.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.

00:28:13.000 Breaking news out of New York is that Trump is unable to post a $454 million bond in the judgment in New York City, the fraud case where there was no fraud, where everybody got paid back, an absolute farce of a judgment where even the bank that he supposedly defrauded said we'd love to do business with Trump again.

00:28:37.000 And that Mr. Wonderful has said, Kevin O'Leary has also said that, listen, if you're a New York business, get the heck out of New York.

00:28:46.000 If they can just seize your assets, if they can just fine you half a billion dollars when you paid everybody back and that bank wants to keep doing work with you and that bank is forced to do their own private assessment of your wealth and of your credit worthiness, despite what you price your own assets at, despite what you claim your own personal net worth to be, they're still going to go do their own due diligence.

00:29:10.000 This is what the bank did.

00:29:11.000 The bank testified in defense of Donald Trump.

00:29:13.000 Everybody got paid back.

00:29:15.000 There are no victims.

00:29:16.000 And yet Trump is still somehow on the hook for $454 million.

00:29:21.000 And Trump is saying, listen, I'll give you a $100 million bond.

00:29:25.000 And they're saying, nope, we want $454.

00:29:28.000 Letitia James is blocking the $100 bond.

00:29:31.000 So they, the $100 million bond.

00:29:33.000 And so they've done a ton of their ongoing diligent efforts, including approaching 30 insurance companies through four separate brokers.

00:29:46.000 Donald Trump has so far been unable to obtain a bond that would allow him to appeal a $454 million judgment against him in New York.

00:29:55.000 And so we're going to see if a court grants a stay, gives him more time, or allows him to submit a $100 million bond while the Trump team appeals this insane ruling.

00:30:10.000 And I just want to say, you know, for all the haters of Donald Trump, even some in our audience that don't like his tone, don't like this or that.

00:30:18.000 This is a man that had everything and put it all on the line, not once, not twice, but three times now for us, the American people, for fighting for us.

00:30:30.000 And it's insane what he's had to endure.

00:30:32.000 It's truly insane what he's had to endure.

00:30:34.000 And the slings and arrows and the barbs that are thrown at him for him to still come back after this many assaults against his character, this many lies, this many hoaxes, the bloodbath hoax being just the most recent in the long line of hoaxes and lies and smears.

00:30:49.000 For him to come back to risk his personal wealth like this is truly something to behold.

00:30:57.000 And it makes me truly sad that, you know, Letitia James is on a personal mission.

00:31:05.000 She campaigned on getting Trump.

00:31:07.000 And then she, you know, the old Soviet adage goes, show me the man, I'll show you the crime. 0.57

00:31:11.000 She went searching for some way to hurt him, to damage him. 0.59

00:31:17.000 And again, this is a crime with no victims.

00:31:22.000 The supposed victim is on his side testifying in defense of him and his business.

00:31:28.000 So it's truly insane what's going on in New York.

00:31:31.000 We can't say it enough. 1.00

00:31:32.000 This is absolute seizure of asses. 1.00

00:31:35.000 Get the heck out of New York if you're a business. 0.99

00:31:38.000 Now, I want to make one point about a potential upshot for Donald Trump.

00:31:45.000 He is a large holder in Truth Social.

00:31:50.000 And there is a chance that Truth Social will go public in the near future.

00:31:56.000 And if that were to happen, Trump is slated to make $4 or $5 billion in profit.

00:32:06.000 And so I just consider that to be a little bit of a silver lining in a otherwise terrible, tragic, Stalinist story, a repulsive story from a parasitic creature in Letitia James, that Trump might end up netting out $4 billion from Truth Social.

00:32:26.000 And I genuinely hope that that happens because it would be poetic, poetic justice in a country that is increasingly devoid of real justice.

00:32:35.000 And yes, businesses are fleeing New York.

00:32:38.000 The subways are not safe.

00:32:40.000 They're deploying the National Guard and it's not even working.

00:32:42.000 People get shot in the head on the subways.

00:32:46.000 Now, turns out that story is a little, if you saw that viral story from last week, it actually was the aggressor that got shot.

00:32:52.000 The guy took the gun away from him, shot him in the head.

00:32:54.000 But nevertheless, we were told the National Guard is searching bags before you get on the subway for things like guns, and they missed this one.

00:33:02.000 And so New York is crime-riddled. 1.00

00:33:04.000 It's infested with illegal immigrants all over the streets. 1.00

00:33:10.000 They're spending billions of dollars that should be going to taxpayers to take care of these people because they want to maintain their sanctuary city and sanctuary state policies. 1.00

00:33:19.000 This is a city that is upside down.

00:33:21.000 It is ignoring the violent crime and the homicides and the rape.

00:33:25.000 And they're going after Donald Trump because he stands in their way.

00:33:30.000 And when you see stuff like this happening to him, say a prayer for him because it's truly unfair.
