00:01:17.000 tpusa.com slash faith.
00:01:19.000 Do you want to get involved with that?
00:01:21.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:01:22.000 Here we go.
00:01:23.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:24.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:27.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:30.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:33.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:34.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:35.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:44.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:52.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:56.000 Hey, everybody.
00:01:58.000 You know, as you know, I'm not getting vaccinated, so I'm not able to go to Broadway.
00:02:04.000 So we had the Broadway show tonight.
00:02:06.000 So I gotta say, that's pretty impressive.
00:02:09.000 It's great to be here, everybody.
00:02:11.000 We're gonna go over some local Arizona stuff, and I'm not gonna talk for too long because we have the great Jack Hibbs here tonight.
00:02:18.000 And a lot to go over.
00:02:22.000 I want to just say thank you again to this wonderful church and church family that allows this to happen.
00:02:28.000 And it is growing with momentum.
00:02:30.000 And I'm gonna tell you some fun success stories that have come out of Freedom Square here in just the last month.
00:02:36.000 And I have to say, I'm playing hurt here tonight.
00:02:39.000 On Friday, and a lot of you can sympathize with that, with this.
00:02:43.000 I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed.
00:02:45.000 So the fact that I'm here today, I think, is actually a testament to Dr. Toll, who does a phenomenon.
00:02:50.000 If anyone needs a dentist in Scottsdale, no opioids, four days later, still doing radio and speaking at an event.
00:02:58.000 That's a God thing, I have to say.
00:03:00.000 Glory to God, right?
00:03:01.000 So I didn't want to tell Jack this, but I invited Jack as the backup in case I wasn't opening my mouth at all here tonight.
00:03:08.000 So now he knows really why he was invited here tonight.
00:03:12.000 So a couple of things.
00:03:13.000 I just want to, I want to say the momentum continues to grow.
00:03:17.000 And we here at Freedom Square have talked about the importance of school board involvement since the very beginning.
00:03:25.000 Remember, the verse that we've been focusing on is Jeremiah 29, 7.
00:03:29.000 Demand the welfare of the city or the place that I have sent you in because your welfare is tied to your city's welfare.
00:03:38.000 And so as many of you know, The Scottsdale Unified School District, I believe, made a terrible mistake a couple weeks ago to decide not to listen to parents and say that every single child is going to be forced to wear a mask at the school, at Scottsdale Unified School District, with very few waivers and very few exceptions in between.
00:04:00.000 And we know what this does to childhood development.
00:04:02.000 We know what this does to emotional development.
00:04:06.000 We know what this does to spiritual development.
00:04:08.000 God gave us a face for a reason.
00:04:10.000 And we know that putting cloths over children has way more negatives than potential positives.
00:04:16.000 And so we kind of sent out a little bit of a notice at Turning Point saying, hey, this is happening.
00:04:21.000 You know, if you guys want to show up.
00:04:23.000 And I have to tell you, I was so inspired by how many people from Dream City Church showed up to that Scottsdale Unified School District meeting.
00:04:31.000 And I'm going to play some highlights here.
00:04:36.000 So it's so easy to go and speak at one of these things, people.
00:04:39.000 Show up and allow your voice to be heard.
00:04:43.000 I was number one and my wife was number two to speak.
00:04:46.000 I have to say, my wife gave a much better speech than I did.
00:04:49.000 And we're going to play a part of it because she named and shamed all of them because of what they've been doing in this local area, I'll tell you.
00:04:59.000 But it really does show a lesson that the Bible tells us, which is that evil does not like when it is called out.
00:05:06.000 And by the 45th parent that we had show up at the Scottsdale Unified School District, all of a sudden one of the school board members who will remain nameless said something that no one should say in any sort of decent setting, caught on hot mic, and it caught in a lot of kind of this non-stop apology to her because of it, a very bad thing to say.
00:05:28.000 And I realized these people have never been called out for what they've done for this long.
00:05:33.000 You still have the power, everybody.
00:05:35.000 And I could tell you right now, I think they're here tonight.
00:05:37.000 And if not, they should be.
00:05:39.000 But they're four out of five of those school board members are now facing a recall and we have to get those signatures.
00:05:46.000 So and so if that interests you, I don't think they're here tonight, but I will tell you, they will be here at the next one, October 19th.
00:05:56.000 Is that right, Joe?
00:05:57.000 19th.
00:05:58.000 If you are a Scottsdale resident and a registered voter, you could sign the recall petition.
00:06:02.000 I think we need like 22,000 signatures, but through Turning Point Action, our political vehicle, I am personally going to try to do everything we possibly can through our political vehicle to try to get us over the top.
00:06:14.000 Because look, we have to send a message that this is not going to fly.
00:06:17.000 So I want to play a short clip here.
00:06:18.000 This was my speech speaking at the Scottsdale Unified School District.
00:06:22.000 I was first up.
00:06:23.000 And again, it's really interesting.
00:06:24.000 They just are staring at you with all the vengeance you could possibly imagine.
00:06:29.000 I just want to say all of the parents that had the courage to face them, they deserve the real credit.
00:06:35.000 And I'm just going to play this because maybe you guys can steal a one liner or two.
00:06:38.000 I can't believe they gave me as much time as they gave me.
00:06:41.000 So we'll play a short tape of Scottsdale Unified School District.
00:06:46.000 Okay.
00:06:47.000 Can our first speaker free to approach?
00:06:50.000 And if you could just state your name into the microphone so we can get it for our meeting minutes.
00:06:54.000 Yep.
00:06:55.000 My name is Charlie Kirk and I'll a new resident of Scottsdale.
00:06:55.000 Okay.
00:06:59.000 It kind of feels like I'm living in San Francisco because of all of you and your self-righteous measures that you're putting to abuse the children of this wonderful state.
00:07:10.000 I'm going to have children here one day, and I sure hope people like you aren't in charge.
00:07:16.000 You are defying Arizona law and measures to mask children, even though there is zero evidence to show that children are at a significant risk of catching or dying from the Chinese coronavirus.
00:07:31.000 In fact, children who drive to school are at a much larger risk of dying on the way to school than from COVID-19, according to the CDC.
00:07:41.000 The CDC's research says the following.
00:07:43.000 Children 5 to 14 years old have a 0.2 chance of dying from COVID.
00:07:50.000 Yet from all deaths, suicide is 1.5.
00:07:55.000 Homicide, 0.7.
00:07:56.000 Cardiovascular disease, 0.6.
00:07:59.000 Drowning, 0.5.
00:08:01.000 Flu and pneumonia, 0.3.
00:08:04.000 Suffocation and COVID are the exact same measure.
00:08:08.000 Yet this district has decided to go in their own direction against the will of the taxpayers of this area and want to mask children.
00:08:17.000 We know what masking children does.
00:08:19.000 This has a serious mental health toll on young people.
00:08:22.000 The inability to communicate, the inability to even hear what teachers are saying.
00:08:26.000 In fact, masking makes people unfamiliar with each other.
00:08:29.000 It makes you less likely to be able to empathize with another person.
00:08:33.000 God gave us a face for a reason.
00:08:36.000 Dr. McCery wrote a piece in which he studied 48,000 cases of children under 18 reported to have COVID between April and August of last year.
00:08:47.000 How many children died?
00:08:48.000 He said, quote, our report found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.
00:08:57.000 So why the mask craziness?
00:09:00.000 There was a 22.3% spike in ER trips for potential suicides by children aged 12 to 17 in summer 2020 compared to 2019, according to findings published in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly report.
00:09:14.000 And we know there's a direct link between children not being able to empathize with their peers and their parents and mental health issues.
00:09:21.000 This district has decided to go in its own direction against the will of the voters and the legislature here in Arizona.
00:09:28.000 Not to mention the social emotional learning guideline that you mistakenly sent out to parents in this district, the consultant group that you passed into law here, and the violation of the Open Meetings Act, which by the way, I hope the Attorney General of this state acts with criminal intent against this school district for breaking the law and passing the curriculum without allowing parent input.
00:09:51.000 In closing, I'm going to say this.
00:09:52.000 Your time is soon up.
00:09:54.000 The people of this state and this school district are rising up.
00:09:57.000 There are recall measures in place.
00:09:59.000 You have awoke a sleeping giant.
00:10:01.000 I hope you enjoy your massed short-term future here while it still lasts.
00:10:05.000 Thank you.
00:10:13.000 So as fun as that was, I'm going to play a short clip of my wife's one, which was even better.
00:10:18.000 And I have to say, it was much better than that.
00:10:20.000 And the reason we're playing this is I just hope that if I can inspire one person to show up and look somebody in the eye and say, you have to stop doing this, then you're participating in the American Project.
00:10:32.000 That's what we want to do here tonight, that you could speak boldly and courageously.
00:10:36.000 And so my wife said, Charlie, I got a real surprise in the story.
00:10:39.000 I said, oh boy, what is she going to do?
00:10:41.000 And so she shows up at the meeting and we can play the whole thing, but it gets, we'll play like the first minute because you'll get the point.
00:10:48.000 And so she decided to say, you know what?
00:10:51.000 Why don't we have a moment of silence for every person that has committed suicide because of these sort of lockdowns and will commit suicide because of what you're doing.
00:11:01.000 And so she took the three minutes of just a moment of silence.
00:11:05.000 And then, about a minute and a half, a school board member who will not be named decided to go check something on his computer.
00:11:11.000 And she says, No, no, no, we're doing a moment of silence.
00:11:13.000 And he's like, Okay, I'm sorry, almost immediately.
00:11:16.000 So we're going to enjoy just the beginning part of this, and you'll love it.
00:11:23.000 Hi, my name is Erica Franze.
00:11:25.000 I'm a former SUSD student.
00:11:27.000 I would like to use my three minutes today, Mr. Greenberg, Mrs. Sianoski, Mrs. Beckman, Mrs. Hartwells, and Mr. Lindsay.
00:11:35.000 And I would like to have a moment of silence for the SUSD students who have committed suicide because of the mental health issues you all have created by enforcing reckless rules and regulations implemented in the 2020 school year.
00:11:50.000 And I would also like to include within this moment of silence all the kids who will end up committing suicide this upcoming school year in 2021 and 2022 because of your reckless and ego-centered leadership and lack thereof.
00:12:36.000 Mr. Greenberg, I would like for you to not be distracted on your computer during the moment of silence, please.
00:12:43.000 I've had friends who've committed suicide.
00:12:45.000 So good.
00:12:46.000 Thank you.
00:12:47.000 Give it up for my wife who had the courage to stare them.
00:12:49.000 That's a mic drop moment.
00:12:51.000 I'll tell you what.
00:12:52.000 So, all right.
00:12:56.000 So I want to get to one, two more quick things.
00:12:58.000 Number one, some good news today.
00:12:59.000 The Attorney General of Arizona, Mark Bernovich, came out and said that local governments cannot mandate the vaccine against employees' will here in the local states and counties.
00:13:12.000 Great news.
00:13:13.000 And I want to thank the Attorney General for speaking clearly on that.
00:13:17.000 And number two, another action point: if anyone is involved or connected to Brophy, they are forcing every single child to get vaccinated or be subject to twice a week testing and no traveling with sports teams.
00:13:31.000 We have called out Brophy.
00:13:32.000 And what's even worse than that is that Brophy, they brag a lot about their scholarship students, which are low-income, typically Hispanic students that go to Brophy.
00:13:43.000 They are calling Hispanic families and threatening that if their children do not get the vaccine, they're self-threatening, saying, Oh, you know, there's a lot of other children that are on the waiting list.
00:13:54.000 In the Hispanic community, in the black community, they have low rates of vaccination.
00:13:59.000 This is evil, what is going on at Brophy.
00:14:01.000 They have, they've already betrayed the legacy of what was once a great school.
00:14:05.000 So if anyone is connected there, or if you know people there, there's an amazing group of moms that are holding it down for the boys that go to Brophy.
00:14:13.000 And I just want to say, please get involved if you can, because that's a really, really important fight locally.
00:14:19.000 Okay, everybody, we have some momentum here in Arizona.
00:14:23.000 And one of the reasons that this whole event came to be was because of a friend of mine who has been speaking out so clearly on these issues for years.
00:14:32.000 We all heard from Pastor Rob McCoy last month.
00:14:35.000 And Rob McCoy and Jack Hibbs are both Calvary Chapel pastors.
00:14:39.000 And Jack Hibbs, I got to know because he had me speak at his Happening Now event, I think a year and a half ago.
00:14:46.000 And I saw a crowd like this, and I said, you're allowed to do weeknight events talking about what's happening in your local area and a pastor do that.
00:14:54.000 And it inspired this whole thing, this conversation with the Barnetts.
00:14:57.000 And Jack Hibbs is without a doubt one of the most godly and brave and courageous pastors that America knows.
00:15:05.000 So please welcome to the stage Jack Gibbs, everybody.
00:15:12.000 So, Jack, for a turn of events, I actually get to interview you this time.
00:15:17.000 This is fun.
00:15:18.000 And so, I want to say hello to everyone watching on YouTube on both our YouTube channel and the Happening Now YouTube channel.
00:15:23.000 Yeah, Happening Now YouTube channel of our Facebook.
00:15:26.000 And Charlie, a little later today, because it's so early yet, this is going to be replayed on our television station covering the Hawaiian Islands later today.
00:15:34.000 So, yeah.
00:15:35.000 Praise God.
00:15:36.000 And so, Jack, introduce yourself to this audience, obviously, with this warm reaction.
00:15:41.000 A lot of people know you and know your ministry.
00:15:44.000 But talk about kind of how you got into ministry, your church, and what God's leading you to do.
00:15:48.000 Wow, I mean, that's a huge ask.
00:15:51.000 It's been 30 years now since Lisa and I, my wife, we moved out from Costa Mesa and we started a home Bible study in Chino Hills.
00:16:00.000 Nobody knows where that is.
00:16:01.000 We love it that way.
00:16:03.000 It's got a small town vibe, although it doesn't have the feel of freedom like you guys are enjoying.
00:16:09.000 I hope you know this.
00:16:11.000 But long story short, started a home Bible study with six people in it.
00:16:15.000 And I think last Sunday we had somewhere around 13 or 14,000 adults.
00:16:21.000 And it's been going, look, what you guys, what's happening here, Charlie knows this.
00:16:27.000 We have been standing in that water in Southern California of cultural impact.
00:16:32.000 We believe that Jesus, when he said, let your light so shine before men that when they see your good works, they'll glorify your Father, which is in heaven.
00:16:41.000 And when you begin to unpack what that scripture means, when Jesus said, let your light so shine before men, it's generic.
00:16:48.000 It includes unbelievers.
00:16:51.000 So from the beginning, we, 52 weeks a year, we host voter registration.
00:16:58.000 We know our school board members by name.
00:17:01.000 We pray for them by name, city council, the county board of supervisors.
00:17:06.000 We make sure we connect with them, meet with them, ask them how they're doing, pray with them.
00:17:11.000 And so because of that, there's been a relationship that I'd love for all of you to pay close attention to.
00:17:17.000 When California locked down, and we've got to remember, and I'm so grateful for Charlie for keeping America aware that some of California's cities and counties locked it down harder than even New York.
00:17:30.000 But when that hit, we saw the tale of two churches.
00:17:34.000 We saw John MacArthur fighting LA County, and that was brutal.
00:17:39.000 And then we saw what happened with our church that sits on the L.A. County-San Bernardino County line.
00:17:47.000 Totally different politics because what we did, we is the fact that we engaged our leaders.
00:17:53.000 And so we remained open.
00:17:56.000 And since that time, Charlie, you know well, we've baptized now during the COVID season over 3,000 people.
00:18:03.000 We have grown by the thousands.
00:18:06.000 And God has opened up so many doors.
00:18:08.000 People want a voice.
00:18:10.000 And Jack, also, you even collect ballots if people want to vote.
00:18:14.000 How many ballots did you collect last Sunday?
00:18:16.000 Yeah, you guys need to understand something.
00:18:17.000 In California, the party that shall not be named passed a law in Sacramento and then invented something called ballot harvesting.
00:18:31.000 It's a horrible idea.
00:18:32.000 Nobody in their right mind would think of doing such a thing.
00:18:36.000 But you could go door to door and you can get signatures.
00:18:39.000 You can get people.
00:18:40.000 And it's very, it opens up a door for horrible, horrible mistreatment, cheating, to say the least.
00:18:48.000 Part of that system that they passed into law, what we wound up doing is that we circumcised it, so to speak, in the spiritual speaking.
00:19:00.000 We made it with some integrity, meaning that we purchased special boxes from Amazon.
00:19:06.000 We have guards.
00:19:07.000 We have documentation.
00:19:09.000 So the community can bring their ballots and make sure that their ballot is counted.
00:19:16.000 And so we call it ballot collection.
00:19:19.000 And it has been overwhelmingly successful.
00:19:23.000 And I think we're going to be looking at close to 20,000 ballots coming in from the community where people want to vote with integrity.
00:19:33.000 And so I know it's hard for you Arizonans to fathom such a hare-brained idea, but.
00:19:40.000 Listen, and it's using that law actually for good, which was intended for something that was more than good.
00:19:47.000 Let's just say going door to door and trying to collect all the errant ballots.
00:19:51.000 And so, Jack, let's talk more broadly.
00:19:53.000 Why should Christians and pastors care about these cultural and civic issues?
00:19:59.000 Because all the time you and I get messages.
00:20:01.000 Why are you speaking out on this, Jack?
00:20:02.000 Why are you speaking out on this?
00:20:03.000 Why now, Jack?
00:20:04.000 Why must we speak out?
00:20:06.000 Yeah, listen.
00:20:07.000 If you're a follower of Jesus Christ, there's two things that when you start reading the Bible, you figure out really quick is that number one, God is awesome and he's everywhere and there's no place where he's not, okay?
00:20:19.000 And the second thing is that regarding our worship and who we are as believers based on the Bible, all of us in America have something that other nations do not have.
00:20:29.000 And that is we have an American founding that is unique from any other country on the face of the earth throughout all of human history.
00:20:37.000 And so our founding fathers built into our government and how we would operate regarding going back to the Mayflower Compact, for example, our nation's founding documents are all centered around the concept of God is the one who gives liberty.
00:20:56.000 That's why the First Amendment is the First Amendment, by the way.
00:20:59.000 And that's put to us by our founding fathers.
00:21:02.000 That said, nowhere in the United States in any federal or any documents of our founding nation is there a separation of church and state.
00:21:12.000 Now, hear me out.
00:21:13.000 That's in a private letter between Thomas Jefferson and the Baptist Association in Danbury, Connecticut.
00:21:22.000 They were reminding Jefferson, hey, now that you're president, remember, we left England to prevent from having a state church.
00:21:31.000 And Jefferson and that pastor agreed there'll be no government involvement regarding what a church will do in this nation.
00:21:41.000 We'll stick true to that.
00:21:43.000 Having said that, everyone, our nation is built in such a way that it is we the people.
00:21:50.000 And Alexa de Tocqueville announced to the world that when he looked at America, he saw the greatness of America.
00:21:58.000 And he said, you know, when I looked at it, came over from France to check it out, he said it wasn't in their commodious harbors.
00:22:04.000 It wasn't in their amber waves of grain.
00:22:07.000 It wasn't in their incredible industry that America was burgeoning.
00:22:13.000 He said, I didn't understand what made America great until I went into the churches of America.
00:22:19.000 And then he said, when I saw what was going on in the churches, I saw that the pulpits were alive with freedom.
00:22:25.000 So he said, my conclusion is this.
00:22:27.000 America is great because America is good.
00:22:31.000 When America ceases to be good, she will no longer be great.
00:22:35.000 And that was said by a Frenchman.
00:22:37.000 Now, listen, there's no such thing as a separation of church and state.
00:22:43.000 What we need to understand is no one is going to look out for your child's welfare in your school district better than you.
00:22:50.000 You are to be responsible for your children and you are to hold responsible those who have jurisdiction over your children that you gave them.
00:23:00.000 And this is called biblical stewardship.
00:23:03.000 We are not, we do not believe that we're going to usher in the kingdom of God on earth and make it perfect and then Jesus gets to come back.
00:23:10.000 Listen, this place, this place, the world is messed up.
00:23:15.000 And look, my theology teaches me that Jesus could come back tonight.
00:23:20.000 But that doesn't mean I'm going to put my feet up and goof off.
00:23:23.000 It means I'm going to shine the light.
00:23:27.000 I'm going to make truth known.
00:23:29.000 And I want, as a pastor, my biggest thing as a pastor is to teach people the word of God and that it is activated in their life.
00:23:39.000 And that, listen, my school, my report card happens on Monday to Saturday, how people live their lives in our community.
00:23:47.000 And so I want to equip them so that they go and they make a difference, that they run for mayor, that they wind up becoming those on the city council, that they're the ones who become the supervisors to the county.
00:24:01.000 And that's exactly how it's worked.
00:24:03.000 Listen, you guys, this is how good it's been.
00:24:06.000 I don't mean to make that in a bad way.
00:24:08.000 I got to tell you, the whole COVID dynamic was an amazing thing for us because we ran to the hurt.
00:24:17.000 We ran to those who had children and family who committed suicide.
00:24:22.000 The city saw it.
00:24:24.000 The county saw it.
00:24:26.000 They even asked us for help.
00:24:29.000 And so isn't that what the Christian whole worldview is?
00:24:34.000 Is to represent Jesus Christ in everything that we do.
00:24:39.000 And so in this crisis, it was wrong to shut down churches.
00:24:44.000 In California, Gavin Newsom would not even let us meet or sing songs.
00:24:52.000 And so when I sent him a note, I sent him a video note.
00:24:55.000 I asked him about when does he plan for the church to open up?
00:24:59.000 He wouldn't even announce the church in a category.
00:25:04.000 We were not essential and we were non-essential.
00:25:08.000 He failed to recognize us.
00:25:10.000 And God was good, though, because the Lord spoke to my heart and said, Jack, the church, my church is not essential and it's not non-essential.
00:25:20.000 My church is not a business.
00:25:22.000 My church is transcendent.
00:25:25.000 It's not of this world.
00:25:27.000 And so that's what we do.
00:25:30.000 That's what we love to do.
00:25:31.000 And I can tell you, going to Jack's church, you know, I watched, I was watching Jack on the live stream this last weekend.
00:25:37.000 It was so funny.
00:25:38.000 It was, you know, here's our women's ministry and here's our family ministry and here's if you need a grieving ministry.
00:25:45.000 And then like without breaking, without even breaking a step, the woman, as if she was telling you how to board an airplane, and she said, and now take this card if you want to recall Gavin Newsom, and here's how you can do that.
00:25:56.000 I was like, and then it's like the next one was like, and then here is our men's ministry.
00:26:01.000 And I was like, whoa.
00:26:02.000 And it was just so matter of fact.
00:26:04.000 And so, so, Jack, talk a little bit about, because everyone here gets it, some of the backlash and how you deal with that, because there's a lot of believers here, and you have people tell you, you know, stop getting involved in that sort of thing.
00:26:17.000 You know, the kingdom of God transcends politics.
00:26:19.000 Come on, Jack.
00:26:20.000 Why are you doing ballot collection?
00:26:21.000 You should be doing this or that.
00:26:23.000 How do individual believers deal with that and properly communicate that?
00:26:27.000 Yeah, the biggest things that we hear from the Christian side is people who write or call and say, you shouldn't be doing that.
00:26:38.000 You should be like us.
00:26:39.000 We preach the gospel.
00:26:42.000 Well, we preach the gospel.
00:26:43.000 We had 300 people accept the Lord a couple weeks ago.
00:26:46.000 The baptisms, as I've mentioned, and well, we preach the gospel.
00:26:50.000 So, we get it from the Christian community, and I understand that.
00:26:54.000 But then we also get it from the world around us.
00:26:56.000 And the other critique is: Aren't you guys should be loving?
00:26:59.000 You should be showing the love of Jesus and shut your church down.
00:27:04.000 But no, no, haven't you heard that?
00:27:06.000 You should be loving.
00:27:07.000 Close your church.
00:27:08.000 But wait a minute.
00:27:11.000 On April 26th of 2020, I'm praying.
00:27:16.000 I'm having my morning devotional time.
00:27:19.000 And I'm reading something.
00:27:21.000 I don't even remember where I was reading in the Bible, but it wasn't the book of Revelation, I'll tell you that.
00:27:25.000 And I'm reading along, and out of the throne room of God, I believe, right on my heart, the Christian will know what I mean by this.
00:27:35.000 I didn't hear a voice.
00:27:37.000 I felt the voice.
00:27:38.000 And when you feel that voice, it's louder than an actual voice.
00:27:41.000 And it was this.
00:27:42.000 On April 26th, the Lord said to my heart, Open the doors of my church.
00:27:47.000 On May 31st, open the doors of my church.
00:27:50.000 And I was like shocked.
00:27:53.000 And in that pause, the next intense pressure on my heart was, No one has the authority, Jack, to shut the doors of my church.
00:28:02.000 Neither do you.
00:28:03.000 Open the doors of my church.
00:28:05.000 And so I sent out a note.
00:28:08.000 This will come together in a moment.
00:28:10.000 I sent out a note to every pastor I could connect with in California.
00:28:15.000 And I said, with or without you, I've heard from the Lord on this.
00:28:19.000 You guys pray, but with or without you, Calvary Chapel Chunah Hills will be opening the doors on May 31st.
00:28:24.000 If you'd like to join us in your city, in your town, that'd be awesome.
00:28:28.000 If not, God bless all of you guys.
00:28:30.000 And so we opened up our doors, but so did over 1,000 churches in California, including Mike McClure.
00:28:40.000 It's just amazing, Jack.
00:28:42.000 So let's talk a little bit about current events and how we as believers need to talk about this.
00:28:47.000 One of the things that you do as a ministry, which is kind of one of the templates that inspired this, is you have these happening now conversations where you'll bring in experts or you'll bring in, you know, just people to talk about what's happening in the world and then also giving commentary on what is true.
00:29:02.000 Talk a little bit about what's happening globally with this current regime, Jack, and the threat that it poses to Christianity.
00:29:09.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:29:10.000 And so Charlie is exactly right.
00:29:12.000 So what we do is we host this event called Happening Now.
00:29:15.000 And we constructed this outreach that's in our own church, but it's an outreach to people who want to know, who want to know, they're scared, they're nervous, what's happening in the world around us.
00:29:26.000 So what we do is that we look through the events of the world that's going on and we view them in light of Bible prophecy so that we make sure that there's no silly business.
00:29:37.000 You know, silly business.
00:29:38.000 Jesus told me that he's going to come back tomorrow at two o'clock.
00:29:41.000 You know that stuff you read in the newspaper?
00:29:43.000 I hate that stuff.
00:29:45.000 That does so much damage.
00:29:47.000 And so we created this presentation to where we looked at things that are happening in our lives right now in light of the Bible.
00:29:54.000 And so when we look at what's going on in America right now, the remarkable things, I say remarkable in the negative, is the fact that we are equipping believers to understand that, for example, Jesus said that there's going to be times when evil advances, but we're to stand against evil.
00:30:12.000 We're to be respectful.
00:30:13.000 We're to be loving.
00:30:15.000 But listen, oh, I hope this doesn't come across wrong.
00:30:18.000 Somehow, somewhere along the way, we have some, in some capacity, adopted that in a world that is out to eat our children alive or take our culture from us, that being polite is a virtue.
00:30:32.000 And that we've stopped speaking the truth in love.
00:30:35.000 And a lot of pulpits have gone woke on this issue.
00:30:39.000 And they won't speak about the real history behind.
00:30:42.000 Am I allowed to say whatever I want to say?
00:30:44.000 Yeah, you're good.
00:30:45.000 I'm in Arizona, right?
00:30:49.000 This is an enlightened group, Jack.
00:30:51.000 Let's pretend.
00:30:52.000 I'll feel better if I pretend I'm in California right now.
00:30:55.000 I'll do that.
00:30:56.000 So, if I was in California right now, I would say that we need to find out who's really behind Black Lives Matter and who's really behind Antifa.
00:31:06.000 You really need to know that because you need to know.
00:31:11.000 Very few people really need to know.
00:31:15.000 The engine that drives those two entities is a very, very old ideology.
00:31:20.000 It's a very, very old system that's been around.
00:31:22.000 And whenever there's trouble, that group is always there, stirring it up.
00:31:26.000 And so, what we do is we take the events that are happening in your life, the stuff that your kids are going to be learning about tomorrow in school, and we do it with a biblical worldview perspective.
00:31:38.000 So, listen, people leave that night knowing, wow, my Bible is more relevant than tomorrow's news.
00:31:45.000 And I thought it was an old dusty book, but it's just giving me the answer on how to deal with what's happening at work or in the world around me or how I should vote.
00:31:56.000 Listen, every year, I won't do it here because I love the Barnetts, all of them, and it's precious.
00:32:02.000 Every year at our church, I officially file a lawsuit with the Alliance Defending Freedom, ADF.
00:32:11.000 They're our attorneys.
00:32:13.000 I give a politically incorrect sermon that is very useful to all the people, and then we mail it to the IRS and the Department of Justice because we're trying to get churches to know that they can speak truth.
00:32:27.000 And that, again, God's church is the very epicenter.
00:32:32.000 If you know American history, the epicenter of a city or a town was the church.
00:32:39.000 And if a building was on fire, they rang the church bell.
00:32:43.000 If somebody wanted to make an announcement, they rang the church bell.
00:32:46.000 And if the enemy was invading, they rang the church bell.
00:32:50.000 And that's where Paul Revere got the heads up: from the staple of the church.
00:32:54.000 This is American history.
00:32:56.000 And so we are, we're probably a church that came together about 300 years too late.
00:33:01.000 Well, I'll tell you, Jack, it's a church that there's more and more churches that are following kind of your tact.
00:33:09.000 Not necessarily as aggressive as you, as like, hey, Department of Justice, here I am.
00:33:12.000 But still, there's a lot of churches that are, you know, that are definitely speaking boldly and courageously.
00:33:18.000 And this is one of them.
00:33:19.000 And Steve Smotherman and Pastor Juergen Awakened Church, which we're doing an event later this week, week there.
00:33:26.000 So, Jack, let's talk about kind of what's happening in real time and what people can do about it.
00:33:32.000 Talk about why Christians need to take the education of their children so seriously-from homeschooling to private school to getting away from government schooling.
00:33:41.000 Talk about some of your personal experience, and what do the scriptures say about the importance of education with children?
00:33:47.000 Yeah, first of all, to the believer, the scriptures require us to teach our children from the scripture.
00:33:54.000 And from the scripture, by the way, comes every answer to every kid's question is found in scripture.
00:34:01.000 If you don't think so, that's on us.
00:34:03.000 You have to find it.
00:34:04.000 Believe me, it's there.
00:34:04.000 It's there.
00:34:06.000 So, we believe that strongly.
00:34:08.000 And so, in doing that, listen, from California, the powers that be have launched for several years unbelievable curriculum.
00:34:21.000 And they have approved supplemental curriculum.
00:34:25.000 And I'm not talking about core mathematics or things like this.
00:34:29.000 I'm talking about stuff that I can't even mention in this building that is so, so perverse.
00:34:35.000 And nobody was saying a word about it until we actually got some of the curriculum and began to show the congregants what we were talking about.
00:34:44.000 And the parents literally thought I was lying and making it up.
00:34:48.000 It was so pornographic and so severe.
00:34:52.000 And listen, when the parents are informed about this is what's happening to their little one, then you talk about the school board meeting.
00:35:02.000 We had a school board meeting on that topic where we had over 700 people show up to that meeting.
00:35:07.000 It's amazing.
00:35:08.000 And I want to give you some good news.
00:35:11.000 I'll give you an example.
00:35:12.000 I'll give you an example, then some good news.
00:35:14.000 So California State Board of Education has now passed into law or rule or whatever.
00:35:19.000 It's actually not a law because no one actually voted on it.
00:35:21.000 They just do it by decree that they must now teach the Aztec God of child sacrifice and children in California schools.
00:35:31.000 And I'm not making this up, right, Jack?
00:35:32.000 No.
00:35:33.000 They must recite the Pontec Bla, Pontec, Bla chant in class of the Aztec God of child sacrifice.
00:35:40.000 Like it's not a spiritual war, everybody, right?
00:35:42.000 Yeah.
00:35:42.000 Right?
00:35:43.000 Not a spiritual war.
00:35:44.000 But here's the amazing news.
00:35:46.000 In fact, I said this, I think at your church almost a year and a half ago.
00:35:50.000 I said America needs to double its homeschooling population.
00:35:53.000 And guess what?
00:35:54.000 The numbers have come out.
00:35:55.000 America has went from 5 million families that were homeschooling, 10 million families are homeschooling right now in America.
00:36:03.000 And if you're a family out there right now, you're like, homeschooling intimidates me.
00:36:09.000 It's not for me.
00:36:09.000 That's okay.
00:36:10.000 I don't mean to shame people that aren't doing that.
00:36:12.000 But you can do a version of homeschooling.
00:36:14.000 You could do one hour a week where you sit down with your children on Sundays and turn off all the screens and just say, we're going to learn about American history.
00:36:23.000 We're going to learn about Jonathan Edwards and George Whitfield and Jonathan Mayhew.
00:36:27.000 And so I'm going to say this, every single Freedom Square, we've partnered with Hillsdale College to give you all of the online courses.
00:36:35.000 It's Charlie for Hillsdale, Charlie F-O-R-Hillsdale.com.
00:36:39.000 And they're amazing because if everyone, if every parent watching this online and here is like, okay, when I'm doing my Peloton or my soul cycle or I'm whatever, I'm going to listen to an online course.
00:36:51.000 I'm going to learn something.
00:36:52.000 And then I'm going to set my kids down and be like, okay, for 30 minutes a week, I'm going to tell you what I learned about George Washington.
00:36:59.000 I'm going to tell you what I learned about Abraham Lincoln.
00:37:01.000 I'm going to tell you what I learned about godly men and women that fought courageously for our civilization.
00:37:07.000 So even if you can't do the full homeschooling thing, I understand that.
00:37:10.000 My parents were not into it, but I'll tell you what, they did a lot of their extra homeschooling.
00:37:14.000 They did nights and weekends.
00:37:16.000 They did summers and they brought me to real sites.
00:37:19.000 They brought me to Philadelphia.
00:37:20.000 They brought me to Boston.
00:37:21.000 And people say, Charlie, how'd you get such a passion for this?
00:37:24.000 It wasn't the indoctrination.
00:37:26.000 I was public school educated, by the way, public school.
00:37:29.000 But I just tuned all that stuff out because I knew what I was getting at home was truth and at school garbage.
00:37:34.000 Jack, can you expand on that?
00:37:35.000 That is so good.
00:37:36.000 Listen, what I want to encourage all of you to consider, those of you who are saying, there's no way I would ever homeschool.
00:37:42.000 Hang on a second.
00:37:43.000 There are homeschool networks and co-ops that make it so remarkably able for you to do.
00:37:52.000 There are teachers and there are retired teachers, I should say.
00:37:57.000 There are parents who are really good in history and really good in math and really good in biology.
00:38:03.000 And there's these co-ops.
00:38:05.000 I'm sure they have them here.
00:38:06.000 They're big in California.
00:38:07.000 And the co-ops wind up their homeschool kids, but they spend so much time during the week with other kids in these co-op settings.
00:38:17.000 So that's a wonderful thing to keep in mind.
00:38:20.000 Also, in our church, we are just about ready to launch.
00:38:24.000 Our church is probably watching this right now, and they're not supposed to know this yet.
00:38:29.000 We've been working really hard, hitting in the direction to begin, just to begin with.
00:38:35.000 It won't be where we stop.
00:38:37.000 It's where we begin with.
00:38:39.000 Because we don't have a better name for it yet.
00:38:41.000 We just call it public school detox.
00:38:44.000 We are in the kids in our kids who attend our church, who go to public school two to three times a week after school.
00:38:55.000 We're hosting Detox teaching with teachers that are going to be unteaching what they learn and teach them what they should have learned.
00:39:06.000 That's where we're starting going to a full-blown.
00:39:10.000 So, Luke, I think we got a new idea here, a new ministry opportunity with the Dream Center.
00:39:15.000 Powerful.
00:39:16.000 And I want to give everyone hope.
00:39:18.000 I want you to imagine, because one of the things I love about Dream City Church is to dream.
00:39:23.000 I want you to imagine a headline in 2050, front page of the New York Times.
00:39:28.000 Surprising right turn attributable to homeschooling revolution that happened during the COVID pandemic.
00:39:38.000 I want you to imagine that being written in 2050, 30 years from now, because we are seeing such an explosion of homeschooling.
00:39:46.000 I don't even understand how much 10 million families is.
00:39:50.000 And so people say, well, Charlie, what does that mean?
00:39:52.000 So the data shows that 97.5% or 98% of all homeschooling, they tend to be conservative.
00:40:00.000 Now, there probably is that 2% of homeschooling people that are like the hippie liberals in like northern Vermont that are like, we don't like the system, like, you know, no electricity.
00:40:10.000 But like, come on, if you're homeschooling your kids, you're not exactly like bowing to the machine.
00:40:15.000 You have 10 million families that are doing that and it's growing, not to mention the private school and not to mention even the conservative kids in public school.
00:40:22.000 You're talking about all of a sudden you're going to see demographics in 30 years from now that are going to shock the world.
00:40:29.000 They're going to be like, how is this country still so conservative?
00:40:31.000 I thought, like, they stopped going to your schools.
00:40:33.000 That's why.
00:40:34.000 And parents started to step up and started to get involved because what the enemy means for evil, God will use for good.
00:40:43.000 What's the scripture, Jack, attributable to, I think that, what is the verse?
00:40:50.000 Tommy, what's the verse?
00:40:51.000 I'm putting him on the spot.
00:40:52.000 I'm blank.
00:40:54.000 So it's David.
00:40:58.000 It's Joseph talking to his brothers, what they had planned for evil.
00:41:03.000 Joseph announces Genesis, somebody help us.
00:41:09.000 50?
00:41:10.000 50?
00:41:10.000 Give it up for Jack, everybody.
00:41:12.000 That was hard.
00:41:12.000 That was unfair, right?
00:41:13.000 Erica had the answer.
00:41:15.000 All right.
00:41:16.000 But the point is that the enemy said, I'm going to lock it down.
00:41:19.000 I'm going to keep people in fear.
00:41:21.000 And what ended up happening?
00:41:22.000 All of you all of a sudden were doing the laundry and your son was doing a Zoom class or daughter at you said, what on earth?
00:41:30.000 And you go in, you say, what did that teacher just say?
00:41:32.000 It was a transparency revolution that every teacher was exposed in a compressed period of time.
00:41:38.000 That's right.
00:41:39.000 Because the government school system was so sloppy in rolling out this online learning.
00:41:44.000 They had to sign waivers that parents aren't allowed to listen.
00:41:47.000 It accelerated this trend.
00:41:49.000 No, seriously, that was a real thing.
00:41:50.000 In California, they had waivers that parents were not allowed to listen to these Zoom classes.
00:41:56.000 Listen to what he's saying.
00:41:57.000 This is so great.
00:41:57.000 It's a real thing.
00:41:59.000 So the growth of the homeschooling movement is massive like never before.
00:42:04.000 People, listen, in California, people don't realize California has either the second largest or the largest homeschool population in America.
00:42:15.000 You don't think about that.
00:42:16.000 But here's the deal.
00:42:17.000 If it's such a bad thing and parents went through it regarding COVID, you would have thought that those numbers would have plummeted, right?
00:42:26.000 No, no, no.
00:42:27.000 Exactly what Charlie just said.
00:42:29.000 The parents saw that their kid couldn't read and they said, That's it.
00:42:35.000 What am I doing here?
00:42:36.000 This has got to change.
00:42:37.000 And this is huge grassroots movement.
00:42:42.000 Awesome.
00:42:43.000 And what's amazing, it's Hispanic and black families that are actually growing the fastest in homeschooling.
00:42:49.000 And they are asking the local church for support.
00:42:53.000 They're asking local communities for support.
00:42:55.000 It's such an amazing trend.
00:42:56.000 So I want to get to some questions and we're going to do it traditionally here.
00:43:00.000 And since there's no child care obligations, we can go a little bit longer.
00:43:03.000 If that's cool with you, since we have Jack Kibbs, we might as well get our money's worth out of him.
00:43:08.000 And so, and so, Jack, let's talk about what people can do.
00:43:13.000 This is something we always want to emphasize here, not just kind of be a form of complaining.
00:43:18.000 We could talk about Afghanistan, we could talk about, you know, what's happening in all these states.
00:43:23.000 What can people do, Jack?
00:43:24.000 Homeschooling is obviously important, all these sorts of things.
00:43:27.000 Give us some action items.
00:43:28.000 Yeah, this is exactly what we're doing.
00:43:29.000 For example, listen up, everybody, very carefully.
00:43:33.000 California, just a couple weeks ago, they authored a bill called AB 455.
00:43:40.000 And AB 455 was a mandatory vaccine passport.
00:43:45.000 You couldn't, if that bill were to pass, which by the way, they have a supermajority in Sacramento.
00:43:51.000 If that bill were to pass, that means you couldn't go to a theater, you couldn't go to a restaurant, you couldn't go anywhere, you had to be limited in your movement based upon you being vaccinated or not.
00:44:05.000 What we did was we contacted every senator, state senator.
00:44:11.000 We printed up their phone number and their email and the various cities that they're over, right, that are on that committee.
00:44:19.000 And then you turn it around and it completely gave you the verbiage of what was AB 455.
00:44:27.000 Every, it was on our website, but everyone attending every service was given the handout coming in.
00:44:38.000 There was no room for error.
00:44:39.000 Everything was there.
00:44:40.000 All they had to do was call their senator's office.
00:44:45.000 And most of those phone calls, by the way, most of them by far are machines.
00:44:48.000 You just say, I want you to oppose AB 455, and I'm watching how you vote, and I'm going to respond based upon how you vote regarding this terrible, terrible bill.
00:45:01.000 And so here's the cool thing: that was on Sunday.
00:45:04.000 People began calling.
00:45:05.000 On Tuesday, the bill was pulled by the author.
00:45:12.000 Now, Chino Hills is 300 miles from Sacramento.
00:45:17.000 But here's what happened: other churches heard what we were doing.
00:45:22.000 So they asked for a PDF of that document so they could print out the body of the law or of the bill.
00:45:31.000 And then they applied their own senators' phone numbers in their area.
00:45:36.000 And it became an overwhelming success in a matter of 72 hours.
00:45:40.000 Here's the punchline.
00:45:42.000 The bill was pulled.
00:45:43.000 They authored a different bill and they called it a transportation bill.
00:45:48.000 In California, it's called gut and amend.
00:45:51.000 You can write a bill and it can be said, We are going to celebrate monarch butterflies.
00:45:57.000 Vote yes.
00:45:59.000 No, I'm serious.
00:46:01.000 On the inside of the bill, they gut the monarch butterfly.
00:46:06.000 They still call it the monarch butterfly bill, but on the inside, it's a COVID bill or it is a tax bill.
00:46:13.000 It's a gas tax.
00:46:14.000 It's a something thing.
00:46:17.000 That's what they, it's actually called gut and amend.
00:46:20.000 So they did AB 1102.
00:46:24.000 Back-to-back weekends last Sunday, you saw it.
00:46:28.000 We had to do it again.
00:46:29.000 I said, Church, I'm sorry, but I have to do something again.
00:46:32.000 I know you heard this from me last week, but before we get into the message today, I have to announce to you AB 1102 because while you were working hard all week, your elected officials were working hard all week too up in Sacramento, and this is what they've crafted.
00:46:47.000 So, what did they do?
00:46:49.000 They got back on the phone and they did it again.
00:46:52.000 You guys, listen, every, I believe that every, imagine if every pastor in Arizona found out what was doing in their state capital and in their region, and that pastor said, I'm a watchman on the wall, I'm blowing the trumpet, like God said, and I'm warning the community, you've got to stand up, you've got to make noise.
00:47:14.000 The Arizona, California, California is different.
00:47:18.000 Arizona, the whole nation would change if pastors would speak up.
00:47:21.000 So, that's my last thing I want to ask you, Jack, as we get ready for questions here.
00:47:24.000 Arizona is still, thankfully, a different state than California.
00:47:29.000 And it's teetering on the edge.
00:47:31.000 Don't laugh, not for long.
00:47:33.000 Yeah, but like, give that message of that sense of urgency, Jack, because Chino, not far from a very conservative area, Orange County, you've seen even your own area and in the state over the last 30 years become completely unrecognizable.
00:47:45.000 Right.
00:47:46.000 Talk about how important it is that this gathering continues and people keep on showing up, and people keep the pressure on.
00:47:52.000 As you say, hey, Arizona, you're basically the center of the nation now.
00:47:57.000 Yeah, listen.
00:47:58.000 Um, Charlie's question is preempted by yesterday's Los Angeles Times, I believe it was.
00:48:05.000 Los Angeles Times ran an article about the upcoming recall election that's taking place, and they're asking the question: How in the world did this happen?
00:48:14.000 How is No, I'm serious.
00:48:17.000 And it's, I got to tell you, I'm going to laminate the article.
00:48:20.000 It was very well written, but the writer went down the list and said this entire movement where they were able to acquire 2.3 million signatures for a petition to force the to force an election to evict California's darling.
00:48:42.000 Really, no, really, to throw him out.
00:48:45.000 How did this happen?
00:48:46.000 And it went down the list and it started mentioning this: it's happened in the churches in California.
00:48:53.000 This is where it happened.
00:48:55.000 LA Times, Los Angeles Times.
00:49:00.000 I'm telling you right now, you are going to think I'm crazy.
00:49:03.000 California, I was born and raised in California.
00:49:06.000 I'm telling you something right now.
00:49:08.000 True.
00:49:09.000 I've watched it go from a state that had Reagan as a governor and sent him to Washington, D.C., to falling apart completely, to being a total embarrassment.
00:49:21.000 Now, you know what?
00:49:23.000 The recall effort is so powerful that it had to be a bipartisan effort.
00:49:29.000 Second thing is this: that in the last 2020 election in November, you didn't hear anything about California, did you?
00:49:40.000 Did you hear about anything about California in the news?
00:49:43.000 No, you didn't.
00:49:44.000 You want to know why?
00:49:45.000 Because the news will not report what happened in California in November of 2020.
00:49:51.000 What happened in November in 2020 in California was that, for example, four congressional seats that were rock solid for a certain party that I'm not supposed to mention were completely lost to four pro-life believers.
00:50:08.000 And now they're in Washington, D.C. I'm talking congressional seats.
00:50:14.000 A couple of those people go to our church.
00:50:17.000 What's going on in California?
00:50:20.000 Two things.
00:50:21.000 People have had enough.
00:50:24.000 They're realizing, I don't want to, I don't want to move out of California.
00:50:28.000 And the handful of churches that are telling the truth, we don't have enough room for people flocking to find out.
00:50:38.000 What do I do?
00:50:39.000 California is changing.
00:50:42.000 We don't know how this election is going to go on September 14th.
00:50:47.000 Oh, we know how it's going to go.
00:50:49.000 We just know how it's going to end.
00:50:53.000 It's who counts the votes that matters.
00:50:56.000 Because the church has awakened in California.
00:51:01.000 And dear friends, I'll be quiet with this.
00:51:05.000 I lived through the Jesus movement revival in the 70s.
00:51:09.000 I saw what happened.
00:51:11.000 When you have people showing up an hour early to get into church and stand in line, when you baptize 3,000 people in 11 months, when you see what's happening, that's called a spiritual awakening.
00:51:30.000 People want answers.
00:51:32.000 The church in California is waking up.
00:51:35.000 I have incredible hope for California, and you're watching it unfold right now.
00:51:40.000 So don't lose heart, Arizona.
00:51:42.000 Do not lose heart.
00:51:43.000 Just let your light shine.
00:51:46.000 Do the right thing.
00:51:47.000 Don't expect your neighbor to do it.
00:51:49.000 You do it.
00:51:50.000 Don't say, well, you know what?
00:51:51.000 I'm sure those people will vote.
00:51:53.000 They'll take care of it.
00:51:54.000 You vote like no one else is going to vote.
00:51:57.000 You say, well, Pastor, why should I vote if we're going to lose?
00:52:00.000 Because you're going to do the right thing.
00:52:03.000 I honestly don't care about the outcome as long as I do the right thing.
00:52:07.000 I want to be able to look God right in the face and say that I voted for a pro-life candidate for governor.
00:52:16.000 Amen.
00:52:18.000 So let's start to get lines going for some questions.
00:52:20.000 We want to prioritize students if we can.
00:52:24.000 And I also want to say, here's some good news.
00:52:26.000 And I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here.
00:52:29.000 There will be some more good news coming for certain big employers that have been mandating the vaccine here.
00:52:36.000 And I can't say I have some inside information, but there's some good news that is coming down the pike about some people that have had their livelihoods uprooted and they're about to blink.
00:52:47.000 And these big employers are about to rescind it.
00:52:50.000 So I can't say what that is yet, which is great.
00:52:54.000 And number two, I believe after last time Freedom Square, we had one or two young ladies that were about to get terminated.
00:53:03.000 And I believe they landed other positions of employment.
00:53:05.000 Is that right, Angel?
00:53:06.000 Because of what you're all doing here.
00:53:09.000 And so I just want to say, that's part of what we're doing here.
00:53:13.000 We're building community again.
00:53:14.000 We want to give priority to students here and young people if we can.
00:53:18.000 And we'll start right over here.
00:53:19.000 I think that's a Xavier prep.
00:53:21.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:53:22.000 So my name is Mary Virginia, and I am a junior at Xavier.
00:53:27.000 And although, unlike Brophy, we are not being forced to get vaccinated.
00:53:32.000 We still do have to wear masks.
00:53:34.000 And I am sick of it.
00:53:36.000 I want to know what action I can take to convince our administration to change their policies once and for all.
00:53:43.000 This is a phenomenal question.
00:53:44.000 So is Xavier an all-girls school or is it yeah?
00:53:48.000 That's correct.
00:53:49.000 So that's kind of the sister school of Brophy.
00:53:51.000 If I'm not okay, still learning in Arizona, everybody.
00:53:53.000 So be patient with me.
00:53:55.000 Okay, so there's one way this can end, and this won't involve you.
00:54:01.000 If 100 moms showed up and demanded a meeting with the president of either Brophy or Xavier, this whole thing ends.
00:54:07.000 Now, that's not going to happen.
00:54:09.000 It's not going to happen.
00:54:10.000 People say it's not true.
00:54:11.000 It is true because that president will take the meeting if you storm his office and be like, we demand it right now.
00:54:17.000 How do I know this?
00:54:18.000 This is what the left has done to us for the last 40 years.
00:54:21.000 Face-to-face confrontation, these people cripple like you can't imagine.
00:54:24.000 Now, this won't happen.
00:54:26.000 Let me tell you why it won't happen.
00:54:27.000 Because every single one of those kids will be mortally embarrassed that their mom showed up in a way at an unscheduled meeting, and the moms will not do that at Brophy or Xavier.
00:54:37.000 So, the question is: what is the line to actually trigger that?
00:54:40.000 But here's where you could be a leader.
00:54:43.000 I'll tell you a story.
00:54:44.000 When I was in high school, I actually don't tell this story very often.
00:54:47.000 I organized my fellow students to protest something.
00:54:51.000 And at the time, it was seemingly very silly.
00:54:54.000 They doubled the cookie prices in the cafeteria from $1 to $2, which again, this was inflation.
00:55:02.000 This was a very serious thing.
00:55:04.000 And so we got our whole district involved.
00:55:07.000 I could you not.
00:55:07.000 You could look it up.
00:55:08.000 You could type in Charlie Kirk, cookie revolt, and the whole thing.
00:55:13.000 And it was like students against cookie inflation.
00:55:16.000 And it was silly, but we were principled because how dare you change the price system?
00:55:21.000 And they actually blinked and they changed.
00:55:23.000 The point is: this is that these people, it taught me kind of the value of activism, right?
00:55:29.000 And find other young people and students that agree with you and start to embrace being an activist, which is to demand meetings and to all of a sudden say, you know what?
00:55:40.000 What if all of us just show up without a mask?
00:55:42.000 You're going to kick us all out of school.
00:55:43.000 We're paying tuition to be here.
00:55:45.000 Like, this is the sort of attitude that unfortunately we have to start to embody.
00:55:50.000 And I will say this, though, and Jack, I'd love your thoughts.
00:55:52.000 It really needs to be the parents that are fighting for you, though.
00:55:55.000 And like, the problem at schools like Brophy is that that's a ruling class school.
00:56:00.000 Like, they want their kids to go to Harvard.
00:56:03.000 And the way that you settle differences for families that want their kids to go to Harvard is you ask for meetings and you write letters.
00:56:11.000 Like, we're long past that, right?
00:56:13.000 We got to start to all of a sudden be like, no, no, no.
00:56:15.000 Like, we now have to embrace that kind of activist spirit because it is child abuse, the fact that you, as a high schooler, have to walk around with a cloth on your face.
00:56:24.000 It's wrong.
00:56:25.000 It's child abuse.
00:56:25.000 Jack, what's your thought?
00:56:27.000 Yeah, real quick.
00:56:29.000 I believe there's some mode by which the parents can unite.
00:56:33.000 If they're not going to show up because they're afraid the kids might be embarrassed, there's got to be another way.
00:56:38.000 There's got to be something.
00:56:39.000 Banding together is the strength that's got to happen some way, shape, or form.
00:56:43.000 Be it a letter, be it a form, or you know what?
00:56:46.000 Maybe all the parents should show up to the meeting with a mask on or a bag over their head, something.
00:56:52.000 But if they start to unite to fight, that sends the message.
00:56:58.000 So it just takes one parent to call another one and say, listen, are you willing to stand up for our kids?
00:57:04.000 Because honestly, parents, the parents need to show this young generation courage.
00:57:09.000 How are they going to get it if we don't show them courage?
00:57:12.000 And I just want to encourage you: you have the power to change this at Xavier.
00:57:17.000 One person.
00:57:18.000 You can be a thorn in their side.
00:57:20.000 And don't let them intimidate you, but also know your facts, be full of grace, know the technicalities.
00:57:26.000 Don't try to be asking to be a martyr.
00:57:28.000 At the same time, you can all of a sudden inspire change, right?
00:57:32.000 You can be like, look, this is ridiculous.
00:57:34.000 Half the schools already have the virus, okay?
00:57:36.000 I can't hear my teacher.
00:57:37.000 They can't hear me.
00:57:39.000 No one actually takes this mask policy seriously.
00:57:41.000 They have them down all the time.
00:57:42.000 We're talking to each other.
00:57:43.000 What's the point?
00:57:44.000 Is it about social control?
00:57:45.000 I'm telling you, they will listen when young people speak courageously and clearly.
00:57:49.000 I believe in you.
00:57:50.000 You could get it changed.
00:57:51.000 And we have your back to get it done.
00:57:52.000 Okay.
00:57:57.000 My name is Andrea.
00:58:00.000 I'm 11 years old in sixth grade.
00:58:03.000 My question is: how do I what's a good way, non-threatening way to share my conservative values with my classmates?
00:58:14.000 First of all, give it up.
00:58:15.000 That's amazing.
00:58:21.000 So, I want to empower you.
00:58:24.000 You say you're in sixth grade.
00:58:26.000 So, when I was in sixth grade in 2006, it's a long, long time ago, 13 years ago.
00:58:34.000 Yeah.
00:58:35.000 I don't know if you were born in 2006.
00:58:37.000 No, you weren't.
00:58:38.000 I had a teacher who will remain nameless.
00:58:41.000 And the teacher decided to do an entire seminar on climate change and on why America is an awful country.
00:58:52.000 And so I had to make a decision in sixth grade whether or not I was going to stand up against this teacher.
00:59:00.000 And I did.
00:59:02.000 She sent me to the hall.
00:59:04.000 And so that was like the form of punishment back then.
00:59:06.000 I don't know if they still do that, right?
00:59:07.000 They still send people out to the hall.
00:59:09.000 But all of a sudden, I made a commitment that no matter what the cost, I was always going to advocate for my beliefs.
00:59:16.000 And so I just want to tell you that the younger you get involved in this, the stronger you will become.
00:59:23.000 And the Lord will bless you richly as someone who wants to pursue righteousness with courage, Jack.
00:59:29.000 Yeah.
00:59:30.000 Listen, in fact, I'm going to need some help from all of you.
00:59:33.000 I want to encourage you to get your hands on a series of books.
00:59:37.000 I believe it's by Mike Huckabee.
00:59:40.000 Does anybody know what that is called with the kids?
00:59:42.000 Anybody know what the name of it is?
00:59:44.000 It's awesome.
00:59:45.000 And you need that.
00:59:46.000 And here's the reason why.
00:59:47.000 They're going to teach you how this nation came together, okay?
00:59:51.000 And the nation came together by people speaking out.
00:59:54.000 And when you learn your roots, you know, when you learn your country's beginning, that's going to catch fire inside of you.
01:00:02.000 Okay, when you read that Patrick Henry said this, and it's all written at your grade level, you're going to say, oh my gosh, I can do that.
01:00:10.000 That's why he did that.
01:00:11.000 What's with this thing?
01:00:12.000 That's why they did that.
01:00:14.000 When you get that information in you, it makes it so much easier to speak out.
01:00:20.000 You'll know when to speak out at the right time.
01:00:22.000 But the greatest thing is for you to have the foundation so that good stuff comes out.
01:00:28.000 And that, somebody tell her what that.
01:00:28.000 Okay.
01:00:31.000 Is that your dad right there?
01:00:32.000 The kids guy?
01:00:33.000 That's the funniest shirt I've ever seen.
01:00:34.000 It says, dads against daughters dating Democrats.
01:00:37.000 That's very funny.
01:00:43.000 That is funny.
01:00:46.000 So I just want to commend you.
01:00:49.000 You as a sixth grader.
01:00:50.000 So we're in this together.
01:00:52.000 So in 20 years, it's going to be our country, what really is.
01:00:55.000 So I want you to fight hard.
01:00:57.000 People will call you names and all that, but you obviously have a great dad who's very wise.
01:01:01.000 Know your history.
01:01:03.000 Know the basis.
01:01:04.000 Love the Lord.
01:01:05.000 Read the Bible.
01:01:06.000 And I have a feeling that we're all going to be working for you one day.
01:01:08.000 So God bless you.
01:01:09.000 Thanks for being here.
01:01:10.000 Yeah, be strong.
01:01:16.000 Hello.
01:01:17.000 My name is Andrea Simpson.
01:01:19.000 And I actually recently transferred from a private Christian school in Costa Mesa, California, only about 2,000 kids.
01:01:28.000 I went in pre-nursing and came out political science because of what I heard.
01:01:34.000 Wow.
01:01:35.000 My question would be: what can we do for our college campuses, not even just across the country, but all of these campuses that I toured that are Christian and small and seems like this amazing community.
01:01:49.000 But I get in there and there were only two of us conservatives in the entire political science program.
01:01:56.000 And the other kid was two grades above me.
01:01:58.000 So what can we do?
01:01:59.000 And that's at Christian schools, right?
01:02:00.000 Yes.
01:02:00.000 Yep.
01:02:01.000 So Jack, do you want to start with this about how some of the cemeteries, I mean, seminaries have become Of and by the way, great school that Tommy Barnett is involved in in Florida that's doing some great things.
01:02:15.000 We're going to be announcing some fun stuff with that soon.
01:02:18.000 And there are some good ones.
01:02:19.000 But, Jack, do you want to talk about this?
01:02:20.000 Because this is an untold story of kind of how some of these small Christian schools have kind of lost their way.
01:02:26.000 It's absolutely tragic that what we're producing today are leaders who know nothing about the Judeo-Christian Worldview Foundation of this nation.
01:02:38.000 Again, the United States is the most unique experiment on the face of the earth.
01:02:43.000 And the reason being is because God was in it.
01:02:46.000 All of our founders said so.
01:02:48.000 They wrote it down.
01:02:50.000 But here's the problem: there's been some seminary disconnect that we don't talk about those things.
01:02:59.000 And it's absolutely wrong.
01:03:01.000 So I'm starting to tell you that what the immediate fix is, is that you have to self-educate because it's going to take a long time to turn the ship of these Christian universities and colleges that have divorced themselves from the American experience because the American experience is a God thing.
01:03:22.000 And if you avoid that, then you're going to have two people show up at these gatherings.
01:03:27.000 That's got to change.
01:03:28.000 So you're going to have to change that.
01:03:29.000 You're going to have to educate yourself and others.
01:03:33.000 Hey, come to our meeting on Tuesday night because did you know, and just throw it out there.
01:03:38.000 Did you know that Sam Adams was the spirit of the American Revolution?
01:03:43.000 said his pastor.
01:03:45.000 You're going to get people to show up just to say, that's not true.
01:03:49.000 And then show them that it's true.
01:03:51.000 But you're going to have to educate and educate them.
01:03:54.000 You got to, you got to, what's the word?
01:03:57.000 You have to be like an accelerant.
01:03:59.000 You got to start something.
01:04:00.000 And it's got to come from you.
01:04:01.000 And thank God that you see it.
01:04:04.000 Well, and part of the problem with some of these Christian schools, they've obviously gone woke, which is its own theology.
01:04:09.000 That's right.
01:04:10.000 And bad theology leads to bad politics.
01:04:13.000 And if you believe the Bible is just kind of a suggestion manual or an dusty old book, you're going to get into bad politics.
01:04:21.000 And the Bible speaks clearly that there is a natural law.
01:04:24.000 The founders knew this.
01:04:25.000 That's why they wrote in the declaration, the laws of nature and nature's God.
01:04:29.000 And so whether it be Newtonian physics or how human beings operate under pressure, are we meant to marry?
01:04:36.000 Are we, how are we interact with one another?
01:04:38.000 That natural law is written throughout the scriptures and how we as Christians are supposed to live our lives.
01:04:45.000 The other side, the left, if you will, do not, but they do not believe there is a natural law.
01:04:50.000 They believe that human behavior, humans as individuals, are malleable, changeable.
01:04:57.000 This is part of why they believe in this cult of science, right?
01:05:01.000 Now, this is a really important point, and I don't want to get too off course here, but science is only useful if you have strong character and proper morals.
01:05:11.000 Science is not a worldview to organize society around.
01:05:15.000 In fact, but you'll hear at a lot of schools, like, well, we have to follow the science, trust the science.
01:05:19.000 We must put the scientists in charge.
01:05:21.000 You pull that to its farthest extrapolation.
01:05:23.000 Eventually, you're going to have a question: well, who gets the medicine?
01:05:26.000 That's right.
01:05:27.000 Who gets prioritized?
01:05:28.000 Who gets to live?
01:05:29.000 Then all of a sudden, you're in a moral argument.
01:05:31.000 And if you try to organize society through a microscope or in a test tube, you will lead to eugenics.
01:05:37.000 You will lead all of a sudden to selection of the survival of the fittest.
01:05:41.000 Jack, go ahead.
01:05:42.000 You know what?
01:05:43.000 It just so happens that Charlie and Erica, they were at a service.
01:05:46.000 We were in Romans 1.
01:05:47.000 That's one of the greatest sermons, Jack.
01:05:48.000 And Charlie happened to have been there, and you don't know this, but I got in a whole lot of trouble afterwards because what I said regarding this was in Romans chapter 1, the Bible teaches that there's two genders.
01:06:01.000 And wait, wait, watch what happened.
01:06:04.000 So I didn't take the biblical approach.
01:06:06.000 I said the Bible says this, but you don't have to believe in the Bible to come to that conclusion.
01:06:13.000 If you're an atheist, if you're an atheist and you believe in evolution, then you're going to come to the conclusion that the Bible says because the survival of the fittest is reproduction.
01:06:27.000 That's why when you watch the moose and they're up there in Montana and the big moose has got all the other lady moosees around him, how did that happen?
01:06:36.000 That big moose beat up all the other wimpy boy mooses.
01:06:40.000 Okay, you with me?
01:06:42.000 Here's the thing.
01:06:43.000 He's about to say me, but he did.
01:06:45.000 And evolution, listen, if evolution's true, right?
01:06:49.000 There would be no homosexual experience because evolution would have removed it.
01:06:54.000 That is a scientific fact.
01:06:57.000 So I put forth the argument that you don't have to read the Bible to know which way to go on this.
01:07:03.000 Look at the science, look at the biology, and then even look at the claim of evolution.
01:07:08.000 It still backs up gender two coming together as one.
01:07:13.000 When you argue, you can argue biblical truth without using Christianes.
01:07:21.000 We need to learn how to talk to the world without using Christianes.
01:07:26.000 And listen, science only works when it's interpreted exactly what Charlie said, understanding that there is that lawgiver.
01:07:34.000 And Newton had no problem with this.
01:07:37.000 Newton came to the conclusion that I now understand science better, thus I have greater faith in God.
01:07:45.000 You got to remember that.
01:07:47.000 And then finally, I'll say, just some of these Christian schools, I think, don't understand the proper role of how to organize civil society.
01:07:55.000 This is a very important project.
01:07:56.000 It's not the most important project, but it can be the most important project if you organize society incorrectly.
01:08:03.000 If you live under a tyranny, if you live under a dictatorship, if you live in a dystopian nightmare, or if you live under the cult of scientists, as we live under right now, then the gospel is then less likely to spread.
01:08:16.000 Then it's harder to have large families.
01:08:18.000 It's harder to be fruitful and multiply.
01:08:20.000 And part of the problem with some of these Christian schools, I don't think they understand or they're unwilling at times to contest on this.
01:08:26.000 So I want to encourage you and get involved with Turning Point USA, which is the real answer.
01:08:29.000 That's right.
01:08:30.000 So, all right, next question.
01:08:31.000 Thank you.
01:08:33.000 Hi, my name is Isaac.
01:08:35.000 And currently, my dad has served 27 years in the United States Air Force.
01:08:39.000 Thank you.
01:08:39.000 Well, thank you so much.
01:08:40.000 Give it up for his service.
01:08:41.000 Thank you.
01:08:42.000 And Charlie, I recognize your efforts to limit vaccine mandates for students and college campuses.
01:08:51.000 My question would be for us as Christian conservatives and you guys, what can we do to help advocate, help, and just show our support for those in the military that are facing possible end of their career just over the vaccine.
01:09:07.000 I'll start, Jack, then you want to, you could hand it off.
01:09:09.000 So this is going to be a really interesting dilemma that the military is about to face because if you look at their publicly announced vaccination rates, they're going to have to dishonorably discharge 30% of the military, roughly, if you count it all together.
01:09:27.000 Are they willing to do that?
01:09:31.000 Two months ago, I would have said no.
01:09:33.000 Now I don't dismiss anything from this current regime, to be perfectly honest with you.
01:09:38.000 But here's what really gets me fired up.
01:09:40.000 And thank you for the kind words because we at Turning Point have taken a strong stance against mandatory vaccinations.
01:09:47.000 You know where the vaccine isn't mandatory?
01:09:49.000 If you work in the Biden White House.
01:09:51.000 That's right.
01:09:52.000 If you are a staff member in the Biden White House, you do not have to get vaccinated.
01:09:57.000 But if you are a fit Marine or served 27 years in the Air Force courageously with a perfect record, they could dishonorably discharge you, which means many things, right?
01:10:07.000 It means that you might not be able to get your pension, you might have future job opportunities, you might have VA benefits potentially withheld from you.
01:10:15.000 And so, you know, I would say that this is what we need to do first in Arizona, okay?
01:10:20.000 If you know any of the House congressional delegation here in Arizona, you need them to raise their voice to make a stink about this in Washington, D.C.
01:10:29.000 That means the great Congressman Andy Biggs, who's a friend of mine, right?
01:10:33.000 Congressman Schweiker, Debbie Lesko, and they're friends of mine, by the way, but you just need to remind them: hey, you got to go fight for our military that are on the verge of getting dishonorably discharged right now.
01:10:44.000 And so, Jack, you're dealing with this.
01:10:47.000 And talk about the religious exemption side.
01:10:49.000 How many religious exemption letters have you signed?
01:10:51.000 Yeah, I actually don't know.
01:10:53.000 It's two.
01:10:54.000 We have on our website two versions.
01:10:57.000 They say the exact same thing, but one's got church letterhead on it, one's generic.
01:11:02.000 And it's been pretty epic.
01:11:04.000 It's been remarkably well received.
01:11:08.000 That was crafted by some attorneys that we had put it together.
01:11:13.000 And so we have a religious exemption form.
01:11:16.000 You can download it.
01:11:18.000 You can get it signed.
01:11:20.000 Now, it's had some success.
01:11:22.000 Unfortunately, it's had very little success or maybe none regarding military, which very much concerns me.
01:11:31.000 It's had success with hospitals.
01:11:33.000 It's had success with universities and with schools and with businesses.
01:11:40.000 It has had zero success with our pilots and our soldiers who have used it for the military.
01:11:50.000 This concerns me.
01:11:54.000 Why is this happening?
01:11:58.000 Something that where you have soldiers who have sworn an oath to defend us and to run into the fire and to risk their lives over a sickness that is 99-something percent recoverable.
01:12:16.000 Let's just use our heads for a moment.
01:12:18.000 Something strange about this.
01:12:21.000 Why?
01:12:21.000 Listen, more people die from AIDS.
01:12:25.000 Seriously, go look it up at the CDC.
01:12:28.000 More people die from AIDS.
01:12:29.000 Why aren't we stopping all homosexual activity if we care so much?
01:12:34.000 Somebody could die.
01:12:35.000 Why aren't we stopping alcohol or the sale of tobacco?
01:12:42.000 What's the deal?
01:12:43.000 What's the thing?
01:12:45.000 Something doesn't make any sense.
01:12:48.000 And if I were China, I would be sitting back watching us surrender because of fear.
01:12:56.000 And now I've got to throw in manipulation.
01:12:58.000 And what's so terrible is that what I am finding, this is not a perfect rule, but the people that are resisting are people that have been there for a long time with specialized skills and that are not easily replaceable.
01:13:12.000 And that there are a lot of entry-level that are resisting, but they don't have as much leeway because they'll just get them right at boot camp.
01:13:18.000 Like you got it.
01:13:19.000 What I'm finding, though, it's the people that have a couple decades that really kind of know how the inner machinery of our military works.
01:13:26.000 If you were trying to all of a sudden disempower the greatest fighting force ever assembled, you would do this.
01:13:33.000 No one's going to do it.
01:13:34.000 If you were trying.
01:13:35.000 Exactly.
01:13:36.000 And so what can we do?
01:13:37.000 Well, prayer, because that is not something that we just do just as our own kind of conciliatory action.
01:13:44.000 God can intercede here.
01:13:46.000 But at some point, and this is a call to action because, Jack, you have a sizable audience and it's on our YouTube.
01:13:51.000 The Senate Republicans have to start to use whatever small political power they have and say, we're on the Armed Services Committee.
01:13:58.000 And I'll say just a couple examples, right?
01:14:01.000 There's a good man who's a senator from Oklahoma, right?
01:14:05.000 Jim Inhoff.
01:14:05.000 You've probably met him before, right?
01:14:07.000 He's a Christian.
01:14:08.000 He could end this very quickly, but he doesn't want to.
01:14:12.000 Every person in the Pentagon has gotten every favor from him over the last 30 years.
01:14:15.000 Missiles we don't need, bridges we don't need to build.
01:14:18.000 It's time for the Republicans that have given the Pentagon every favor they've asked for for the last 20 or 30 years to pick up the phone and say it ends now.
01:14:27.000 That there's no more mandating the vaccine against our military.
01:14:30.000 The gravy train is over.
01:14:32.000 They're not doing that yet.
01:14:34.000 I want to say, Senator Blackburn and Senator Cotton have been good on this.
01:14:38.000 Senator Cruz, Senator Paul, and Senator Lee, but it's about time they start to hear from all of us.
01:14:42.000 But I want to say, your father, we have his back.
01:14:45.000 He's not alone, and we're here to support him and people like him.
01:14:48.000 So thank you.
01:14:49.000 Yep.
01:14:51.000 You guys, I just want to add: as believers, you didn't have to be a believer.
01:14:56.000 As an American citizen, the stewardship of this nation is our trust.
01:15:02.000 That's on us.
01:15:03.000 We have forgotten that.
01:15:04.000 We've got EC.
01:15:05.000 I don't know what we do.
01:15:07.000 But we have stopped paying attention to our local government and to our state and to our federal government.
01:15:12.000 We need to remember: we are to steward this America.
01:15:18.000 And we've got to get involved.
01:15:19.000 We've got to get engaged.
01:15:21.000 Next question.
01:15:23.000 Hi, Charlie.
01:15:23.000 My name is Phaedra, and I was recently vaccinated and pressured to do so by the AIA and the Agua-Free School District.
01:15:31.000 What is the AIA?
01:15:33.000 The AIA is Arizona's sports league, so we all fall into that.
01:15:37.000 Yeah.
01:15:39.000 So only unvaccinated kids get quarantined at my school.
01:15:44.000 And the schools and teachers preach that if we are quarantined, it's our fault for falling behind in our education and sport because we could have been vaccinated and we could have chose to be vaccinated.
01:15:56.000 Vaccinated people can still catch and spread the virus.
01:16:00.000 It does not make any sense that they get to stay learning and playing their sport while other people cannot.
01:16:06.000 Is there quarantine policy within Ducey's law?
01:16:09.000 And can they keep doing this to us?
01:16:11.000 What school do you go to?
01:16:12.000 I go to Millennium High School.
01:16:14.000 Millennium.
01:16:14.000 This is horrible.
01:16:16.000 Say that again?
01:16:17.000 And also in Peoria, same thing.
01:16:20.000 And I just want to make sure you got vaccinated against your will, basically.
01:16:23.000 Yes, because I am an above-average golfer and I would like to play college.
01:16:28.000 So I have to have every season I can.
01:16:31.000 Yeah, it's so evil.
01:16:32.000 We're at a place now that children have to make medical decisions and their entire life is being held hostage.
01:16:38.000 And you made the best decision, as you know, to make for yourself.
01:16:42.000 And that's what medical decisions are all about.
01:16:44.000 We're never going to ever insult anyone for making a medical decision.
01:16:47.000 We don't do that here.
01:16:47.000 That's what the other side does.
01:16:49.000 They tell us we can't go to restaurants.
01:16:52.000 So, yeah, the quarantine pilot, this whole thing is so insane.
01:16:57.000 And it's just a matter of time until someone starts to stand up against this and starts to change this.
01:17:05.000 Yeah, it should be against the law.
01:17:07.000 It also should be against the law that Scottsdale Unified School District defies Ducey's law that says you cannot mask children, and they do it anyway.
01:17:16.000 At some point, there has to be an enforcement side of this, right?
01:17:21.000 And currently, they feel as if they can do anything that they wish to do.
01:17:26.000 And it saddens me greatly, to be perfectly honest, that you, someone who wants to have a golf career, you know, was basically held hostage for a virus that you were not going to die of.
01:17:38.000 Like, be perfectly honest, it's not going to happen.
01:17:40.000 But some creepy scientist in a lab is like, I want to go control teenagers and their future.
01:17:47.000 I wish adults would have fought harder for you.
01:17:49.000 I really do.
01:17:50.000 Jack, I'm actually, I probably should be quiet about it.
01:17:55.000 I'm just gonna go to the next question.
01:17:57.000 It upsets me.
01:17:58.000 I know, I'm the same way.
01:17:59.000 I don't know why.
01:18:00.000 It's so evil.
01:18:01.000 We're so demented that we've gotten to this place.
01:18:03.000 That we are in America to be to have something done to your body against your will.
01:18:09.000 Look, if you wanted the vaccine, God bless you, that's your business.
01:18:13.000 Exactly.
01:18:14.000 You said you didn't want it, and you were manipulated, you were coerced.
01:18:20.000 And I just, when I guess, when will Americans actually unite and care about this enough to say it ain't going to happen?
01:18:31.000 This is not going to happen.
01:18:33.000 And I will say that the Attorney General today did come out with the correct ruling for government employees in Tucson.
01:18:40.000 I would have liked to see that ruling earlier for, I don't know, high school students.
01:18:43.000 Like that probably would have been probably better, but he did come out with the proper ruling there.
01:18:48.000 But yeah, but I'll be honest, guys, like as much as we feel there's a lot of us and there are, we're in an ideological minority in the sense that they make, I mean, I drive to work at Turning Point and our radio show every morning and it's like this non-stop propaganda thing.
01:19:03.000 Have you seen this on the highways?
01:19:04.000 Join 4 million Arizonans.
01:19:06.000 I'm like, you know what?
01:19:07.000 Like, no, okay.
01:19:09.000 Like, and stop.
01:19:10.000 Like, I saw that the first 200 times.
01:19:12.000 Okay.
01:19:13.000 And it's like, no, okay.
01:19:15.000 How about this?
01:19:15.000 Like, stop driving drunk.
01:19:17.000 I liked those.
01:19:17.000 Okay.
01:19:18.000 Those were good.
01:19:18.000 I like the drive sober ones.
01:19:20.000 I could get behind that.
01:19:21.000 So, but I want to just say the quarantine policy, I don't know if it breaks the law or not or what it's what it does, but I'm glad you're okay, you know, after getting vaccinated.
01:19:30.000 I'd like to address really quick that parents did fight the AIA and they got no response.
01:19:36.000 There were many emails sent from but was it required by the AIA?
01:19:40.000 Yes.
01:19:40.000 Well, not the vaccine, but basically, if I was exposed to COVID, I would not be around my team for weeks.
01:19:46.000 But you play golf, it's like the most socially distant sport ever.
01:19:51.000 It's not like you're a wrestler.
01:19:52.000 It's like it's golf.
01:19:54.000 It's like, yeah, okay.
01:19:55.000 It's like, wait five minutes before they hit like, I mean, we live in the land of the insane.
01:20:00.000 Thank you for saying that.
01:20:01.000 Some adults stood up, though.
01:20:02.000 And I want to say, I'm sorry you got put in this position, but keep on speaking out.
01:20:07.000 So thank you so much.
01:20:13.000 Amazing.
01:20:14.000 Okay.
01:20:15.000 Hi.
01:20:16.000 Well, I go by Cassie, but everybody just knows me as Cassie.
01:20:20.000 My full name is Cassandra.
01:20:22.000 I'm sorry.
01:20:22.000 It's so confusing.
01:20:23.000 Okay, so I go to Arizona Christian University.
01:20:26.000 It's like great school.
01:20:28.000 Yeah, it's been such a blessing to me.
01:20:30.000 I've finally been able to go on campus instead of online.
01:20:33.000 I mean, I'm really great online, but in person, there's just something different.
01:20:38.000 But one of my things is, I have a lot of friends who are not in college, and they always ask me about, well, what if we have free college?
01:20:46.000 That would be so much easier.
01:20:48.000 And I sit there and I'm like, yeah, it would be so much easier, but that's not how it works.
01:20:53.000 So I just want to know what's like the best response to say to them because I personally just all of my responses don't go through.
01:21:01.000 So I just want like a simple response and like leave me alone type of thing.
01:21:05.000 And these are people not in college?
01:21:06.000 Yeah, yeah.
01:21:07.000 Okay.
01:21:07.000 Yeah.
01:21:09.000 So, yeah, look, if you think college is expensive now, just wait, wait till how expensive it is when it's free.
01:21:15.000 And so part of, look, part of the entire kind of modern college project is going to try to massively subsidize higher education to make it free for the consumer, very expensive for the taxpayer.
01:21:32.000 And there's something to say, though, to your friends, which is that every intervention that we've made on behalf to make college better or cheaper has made college more expensive and actually worth less than ever before.
01:21:46.000 Every single intervention.
01:21:47.000 A college degree used to mean something in our country.
01:21:50.000 It doesn't mean anything anymore.
01:21:53.000 In fact, it's like, oh, now you have to go get your master's.
01:21:55.000 You got to go get your doctorate or you got to go get your other specialized certificate.
01:21:59.000 You want to know, you want to know who like the richest people in Scottsdale are?
01:22:03.000 The plumbers.
01:22:04.000 They are doing unbelievable.
01:22:05.000 Has anyone tried to get a plumber recently?
01:22:09.000 I'm not kidding.
01:22:10.000 They got to look into price gouging type stuff into these plumbers.
01:22:12.000 They're like, yeah, you know, okay, one switch.
01:22:15.000 Yeah, that'll be $650.
01:22:17.000 And they could totally charge it.
01:22:18.000 They have like a down payment.
01:22:20.000 They like, they like swipe your credit card as soon as they show up.
01:22:24.000 And it's like they got the whole thing made.
01:22:26.000 I met this plumber, great guy, and never went to college, totally, he's making like $400,000 a year in this whole like plumbing industry.
01:22:34.000 And he's like, oh, yeah.
01:22:35.000 He's like, I go to these big people's homes and he's like, they're telling me about their kids going to ASU and all this.
01:22:41.000 And I'm like, why don't they want to be a plumber?
01:22:43.000 And they tell me, they're like, oh, yeah, we don't want our kids to be plumbers.
01:22:45.000 And he's like, okay, sure.
01:22:46.000 It's like, that'll be $3,000 for your new Johnson rod, right?
01:22:50.000 It's like, whatever that is.
01:22:52.000 And so the point, that's one way to word it.
01:22:56.000 But look, the other thing is this: higher education has totally gone out of control.
01:23:00.000 And you should try to persuade your friends, like, look, you want things to be better and to cost less, right?
01:23:06.000 So you want less government intervention to try to get those things.
01:23:09.000 Trying to make something free doesn't make it better and it doesn't make it actually cost less than the bank.
01:23:14.000 Jack?
01:23:15.000 Yeah, free things are very expensive.
01:23:18.000 If you think about it, Charlie just said it.
01:23:21.000 Most free thing ever provided and it was the most expensive is Jesus's blood on the cross, right?
01:23:28.000 Think of that.
01:23:29.000 But when man tries to do that, it never works.
01:23:34.000 Someone has to pay.
01:23:36.000 And then the saddest thing of all is for someone to want something for free.
01:23:42.000 That tells you that the people that you're talking to, their character, their motivation, if any, they are so not being the human that they're supposed to be.
01:23:53.000 And for them to say, well, wouldn't it be great if it was free?
01:23:56.000 If it was free, you'd have no motivation to do any character or quality.
01:24:01.000 And if you played that out, you would eventually have doctors who don't know which end to work on.
01:24:07.000 You would have, no, but seriously, you would have people who are called astronauts, but they don't know exactly what to do about that.
01:24:15.000 It would be catastrophic.
01:24:17.000 But again, it's sad when somebody actually thinks that if it's free, that it's good.
01:24:24.000 It's a disaster.
01:24:25.000 And I'll build on this with Jack.
01:24:27.000 This is a biblical principle.
01:24:28.000 Things that matter and things you're going to value take your effort, your commitment, and your time and your sacrifice.
01:24:36.000 Your most precious relationships are not just something you get for free walking.
01:24:40.000 No, that takes time and commitment.
01:24:43.000 Churches that are built, this was not built overnight.
01:24:46.000 It takes time and sacrifice, commitment for those things.
01:24:49.000 Wouldn't you want that a society to be organized around that way?
01:24:52.000 You would think, but that would be rational.
01:24:54.000 But thank you for being here tonight.
01:24:55.000 Arizona Christian University is a great school.
01:24:57.000 So thank you for being here tonight.
01:25:02.000 Wouldn't it be amazing if every elected official believed in God and believed in Jesus Christ?
01:25:07.000 Yeah, it'd be amazing.
01:25:08.000 It would be amazing.
01:25:09.000 My name is Mark Delmaistrom, and I have a question for you, Joe.
01:25:13.000 Do you know what a black robe pastor is?
01:25:15.000 Because you certainly sound like you know.
01:25:21.000 I do.
01:25:22.000 I lament the fact that I was born 260 years too late.
01:25:27.000 And I have a black robe that hangs in my office behind the sanctuary wall.
01:25:35.000 And there's a sign on it that says that I wear in case of tyranny.
01:25:41.000 I have a sign I put on it.
01:25:42.000 It says, yeah, exactly that.
01:25:44.000 Says where, and it's got skull and crossbones on it.
01:25:46.000 It says, Where, in case of tyranny, and when something really gets me, I will put that robe on and do a Sunday service with the black robe on because I know exactly who.
01:25:59.000 The Black Robe Regiment comes out and the whole thing and he canceled it.
01:26:03.000 It drives Newsweek crazy, by the way.
01:26:05.000 Whenever I do it, it's a Newsweek story.
01:26:07.000 So, I should explain to them what it is.
01:26:10.000 Yeah, they don't have a close.
01:26:11.000 Black Robe Regiment.
01:26:13.000 Black Robe Regiment was the men that were responsible for the American Revolution.
01:26:21.000 Who said that?
01:26:22.000 Our founding fathers said so.
01:26:24.000 The Black Robe Regiment were the pastors from about 16, technically 1605 with Pastor Hunt.
01:26:32.000 1605.
01:26:33.000 Can you imagine that?
01:26:34.000 But more predominantly, pastors from about 1720 to about 1770, Black Robe Regiments, whereby they preached the scriptures.
01:26:47.000 Those sitting in the congregations heard about liberty.
01:26:50.000 Some guy by the name of Sam Adams said, you know what?
01:26:56.000 We need to realize that the King of England is the modern-day Pharaoh.
01:27:01.000 We are like Israel and we've got to make a break.
01:27:04.000 And Jefferson said, that's a really great idea.
01:27:07.000 And where'd you get that idea from?
01:27:09.000 And he said, from my pastor.
01:27:11.000 And these were the Black Robe Regiments.
01:27:13.000 And one of the greatest, you can go research him later.
01:27:16.000 Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg was the most remarkable pastor.
01:27:23.000 And what he did was he summoned and called forth pastors of the colonial period, Jonathan Mayhew and others, Charles Chauncey, Jonathan Witherspoon.
01:27:34.000 These guys preached and they changed the world.
01:27:38.000 In fact, so much did they make an impact that some guy by the name of George Whitfield got on a boat and sailed from England to see what was happening here.
01:27:49.000 And people don't know that.
01:27:51.000 People don't realize that.
01:27:52.000 America came about by the Black Robe Regiment.
01:27:56.000 It founded the country.
01:27:57.000 Thank you so much.
01:27:58.000 Next question.
01:27:59.000 Soldiers in place.
01:28:00.000 Thank you.
01:28:01.000 But we'll try to get a couple more questions.
01:28:03.000 Yes.
01:28:03.000 Hi, my name is Cammy, and I'm a nursing student here at one of the colleges in Arizona.
01:28:09.000 The college that I go to, I just want to say, takes two and a half years on a wait list just to get in.
01:28:15.000 So I'm in my last semester of school.
01:28:18.000 I graduated in three months.
01:28:20.000 My school is now giving us two options.
01:28:23.000 One is to take the vaccination, the other is to get an exemption, whether it be religious or medical.
01:28:29.000 Get the exemption.
01:28:30.000 I have had one of my classmates get denied his religious exemption on a basis not known to us.
01:28:38.000 I am expecting for me to get my religious exemption denied.
01:28:42.000 And so we have written numerous Arizon representatives.
01:28:47.000 We have tried scheduling a meeting with our nursing director who won't email us back.
01:28:52.000 She has no showed on one of our meetings with her.
01:28:57.000 And we're just trying to figure out what we can do as a next step, being that we're so close to graduation and have sacrificed so many years for this.
01:29:07.000 What symbol is it again?
01:29:08.000 Mesa Community College.
01:29:09.000 Mesa Community College.
01:29:11.000 Okay.
01:29:11.000 So they're definitely in the public domain.
01:29:14.000 And so they got to be very careful the way they handle this.
01:29:17.000 I want to offer this for everyone out here.
01:29:19.000 I had a very good meeting with the Attorney General today, and he just wanted to make sure you're all aware that on his website, if you feel you've been religiously discriminated against with one of these denials, then you can file a religious discrimination claim.
01:29:33.000 And he says that he's taking those very seriously.
01:29:36.000 And that if someone gets a letter, even a letter from the Arizona Attorney General saying, hey, we want to know about this denial.
01:29:42.000 Was it because what was the reason you denied them based on the religious exemption?
01:29:46.000 So, I just want you to know that I talked to the attorney general at length here.
01:29:50.000 So, I want you to know that's a resource available to you.
01:29:53.000 It's not bulletproof, but if you're in a situation, so I just want to offer that for you: that if they deny your religious exemption, then you could go to the Arizona Attorney General website.
01:30:03.000 And I've been told by him and his team that they're taking these very seriously.
01:30:07.000 Is it because they don't like Christian exemptions?
01:30:09.000 Like, if you got a Muslim exemption, would they grant it?
01:30:12.000 Like, that needs to be investigated.
01:30:13.000 Do you want to say something in follow-up to that really quick?
01:30:16.000 He put on his exemption that he was pro-Christian, and I was going to turn mine in tomorrow.
01:30:22.000 So, I was curious if I should put that I'm Muslim and can't get in.
01:30:25.000 No, don't do that.
01:30:29.000 Not that I am, but we were just trying to see.
01:30:31.000 Yeah, so she's already thinking this way.
01:30:33.000 She's like, Yeah.
01:30:34.000 No, but listen, what I can tell you, there's certain language that you have to have.
01:30:38.000 And I want to encourage you to go to our website.
01:30:41.000 Go to our website.
01:30:42.000 What is our website?
01:30:45.000 I don't have a clue.
01:30:46.000 I never go there.
01:30:47.000 Calvary CCH.org.
01:30:50.000 Is that close?
01:30:51.000 Calvary CCH.org.
01:30:55.000 Download the exemption form.
01:30:58.000 Download both of them.
01:30:59.000 Here's the reason why.
01:31:03.000 The verbiage on the inside prepared by attorneys.
01:31:06.000 Okay.
01:31:07.000 Exact same story you just told was a successful story for one of our congregants at UCI Medical.
01:31:17.000 Same thing.
01:31:17.000 UCI.
01:31:19.000 Okay.
01:31:19.000 Super liberal school, crazy school.
01:31:23.000 But this being the case, he presented it.
01:31:28.000 It's written in such a way by attorneys who are not only constitutional attorneys, but they are born-again believers and they know how to talk.
01:31:36.000 You can't say, I'm a Christian.
01:31:39.000 You can't say that I don't believe in vaccines.
01:31:42.000 You can't say that.
01:31:43.000 But what they did, they crafted this.
01:31:46.000 So far, it's been bulletproof.
01:31:48.000 It's been amazing.
01:31:49.000 You need to look at it.
01:31:50.000 Everybody needs to take a look at it.
01:31:52.000 One addition is there's a friend that is being threatened.
01:31:58.000 We're not going to pay any attention to your religious exemption.
01:32:04.000 What he wound up doing, I wrote this out for him, but I wouldn't put my name on it.
01:32:08.000 But it was simply this.
01:32:09.000 I, so-and-so, am being asked by this company to accept the vaccine based against my own desires.
01:32:18.000 And I do this under duress because my livelihood is being threatened if I lose my job.
01:32:25.000 And so it must be understood that I believe that my First Amendment is being violated.
01:32:31.000 And so I there.
01:32:32.000 Now, listen, this doesn't normally work, but the point is this: I am hereby consenting to receiving the vaccine only if a representative of this school or corporation signs here, dotted line.
01:32:46.000 And I, from the moment of reception of the vaccine, hold this institution responsible for any health issues that will surface from this moment forward.
01:32:58.000 Now, an attorney in the house might say, that'll never work.
01:33:02.000 But what I can tell you is everyone that's handed it out has said, we'll get back to you.
01:33:07.000 They've looked at it and they've said, we'll get back to you.
01:33:10.000 But please go to our website.
01:33:12.000 Please look at the version.
01:33:15.000 It's calvarycc.org.
01:33:17.000 Calvary CCCH.
01:33:18.000 And where do they go on the website?
01:33:20.000 Just follow the, you just follow the vaccine letter.
01:33:26.000 Yeah, man.
01:33:26.000 What does it say?
01:33:28.000 It says exemption form.
01:33:29.000 Vaccine exemption form.
01:33:31.000 Vaccine exemption form.
01:33:32.000 But you also, I want to encourage you with one thing, though.
01:33:35.000 You'll probably be able to run out the clock because you only have one semester left.
01:33:39.000 Right.
01:33:40.000 So, and I know you want to.
01:33:41.000 Smart really quick, and I want to get to the next question.
01:33:44.000 One of the major problems with this is if we were given a timeline, we have to have all doses of the vaccination before September 30th.
01:33:52.000 You have to sue them over there.
01:33:53.000 Yeah, you can't.
01:33:54.000 Yeah, if you do the religious exemption, you can't go back if there's no going back.
01:33:59.000 So, for my classmate, he's actually a real fundamental.
01:34:02.000 Yeah.
01:34:02.000 They need to contact ADF or some group here.
01:34:07.000 So, if you want to get one of our, we have another attorney that might be able to help you.
01:34:11.000 Kelly Shackelford First Liberty has been really good for that.
01:34:14.000 Yes.
01:34:14.000 So, but I think you might be able to beat this one.
01:34:16.000 I don't say that lightly because some of these are kind of fool's errands.
01:34:19.000 But thank you for being here today.
01:34:22.000 Be respectful, be loving, but be tough.
01:34:24.000 I know we're going late.
01:34:25.000 We're going to try to get to one or two more.
01:34:26.000 Yes.
01:34:27.000 So, I'm a Christian teacher at Purdase Valley Christian Preparatory.
01:34:30.000 Awesome.
01:34:31.000 And my job is to help parents who come to private schools to get funding to support their child's needs.
01:34:38.000 Awesome.
01:34:39.000 And today I received an email, which is so bizarre from the PV District.
01:34:43.000 And they said that after tomorrow, any student that has not met with the district staffing, which it's kind of funny this year, it's been really hard to get them to do staffings with us.
01:34:55.000 And they said after tomorrow, all funding is stopped for the 80 students that are going to private schools or homeschooled.
01:35:02.000 And one of the phrases she said in there is we've had such a large increase in homeschool families that we cannot keep the funding for these students that do not come to public school.
01:35:13.000 Now, we met earlier.
01:35:15.000 Don't you help deal with this?
01:35:16.000 Yeah.
01:35:17.000 So could you help her out with that?
01:35:19.000 Okay.
01:35:19.000 We had a great conversation.
01:35:20.000 I'm not literate in that, but I'm going to, see, this is why we have this beautiful event, right?
01:35:25.000 Because we're going to find experts that do.
01:35:26.000 I have no idea how to help with that, but I bet they're breaking some rule, right?
01:35:31.000 And so I'm going to connect you to.
01:35:34.000 Because otherwise, we're going to have a ton of students at our school who will not get the funding to help their children.
01:35:39.000 All right.
01:35:39.000 We're going to help you fix that.
01:35:40.000 Okay.
01:35:41.000 Last question.
01:35:42.000 All right.
01:35:42.000 Yes.
01:35:43.000 My name is Nick.
01:35:44.000 I want to say, one, I love you because of all the things that you stand for.
01:35:49.000 And I have a question for you, sir.
01:35:51.000 I run a public safety agency and I refuse to get the vaccine.
01:35:54.000 Refuse it to the point to where even my family has been subjugated from hospitals from doing so because they refused to get the vaccine.
01:36:02.000 They were sitting in the emergency room for eight hours or more before they were taken back, even though they should be considered a priority.
01:36:09.000 My question to you is: coming from our perspective as a Christian, how do I move forward to battling this as like an evil type of thing and being able to take a stand in the public safety community to say what I believe?
01:36:24.000 Well, first of all, it is evil.
01:36:27.000 It is an evil thing.
01:36:28.000 And as believers, we understand that we're in a spiritual battle.
01:36:31.000 The weapons of our warfare, the Bible says, are not of this world.
01:36:35.000 They're not carnal.
01:36:35.000 That means that there's dark forces, but it's lived out in the world that you and I live in.
01:36:43.000 And Christians need to wake up and come to the fight.
01:36:45.000 We've got to show up to the fight.
01:36:47.000 How you show up to the fight, you use the freedoms that we have left.
01:36:52.000 I mean, honestly, I believe we've lost the freedoms that we've lost because we weren't using them in the first place.
01:36:57.000 It's a muscle we lost.
01:36:59.000 You have got to speak up.
01:37:01.000 You've got to write letters.
01:37:03.000 But listen, you've got to do it respectfully and intelligently.
01:37:06.000 And you watch, you listen to Turning Point.
01:37:08.000 There's other organizations where you can get talking points and learn how to do this.
01:37:13.000 But you, by all means, learn your battlefield.
01:37:16.000 Learn your enemy.
01:37:18.000 No, when I say enemy, the system out there has taken stupid pills.
01:37:25.000 And it's lost its constitutional concept.
01:37:30.000 You've got to remind them of it.
01:37:33.000 You have a First Amendment.
01:37:35.000 You pay taxes.
01:37:36.000 You've got to make respectful noise.
01:37:39.000 Paul the Apostle did this, you guys, in Caesarea when he said, I appealed to Caesar.
01:37:46.000 Let's just stop talking.
01:37:48.000 I'm going to go to Caesar.
01:37:49.000 And as a Roman citizen, that's my right.
01:37:52.000 And they said, yeah, you're right.
01:37:54.000 We have to send you to Rome now because that you're right.
01:37:57.000 You need to use those rights.
01:38:00.000 Well said.
01:38:01.000 All right.
01:38:02.000 So we have, I'll trust your judgment, Ash.
01:38:04.000 Last, last one.
01:38:05.000 All right.
01:38:05.000 Super last, even though we're way over time.
01:38:07.000 Hi, my name is Aiden Nicholas.
01:38:09.000 I'm a homeschooler here.
01:38:10.000 Hey, there we go.
01:38:11.000 The future of America.
01:38:13.000 I think I turned out okay.
01:38:14.000 We'll see.
01:38:16.000 So my question to you is, so Christians obviously have to obey the government to a certain extent.
01:38:21.000 So I think one of the problems with that Christians are undergoing is when should we disobey the government?
01:38:28.000 And I think one of the, I guess our founders had to ask this question at one point.
01:38:33.000 So I think one of the first questions that I would like to understand, and I don't have an answer for this, is was the American Revolution biblically justified?
01:38:43.000 Yes, it was.
01:38:44.000 We're going to do this as quickly as we can.
01:38:45.000 Jack, you go first, then I'll go, and then we'll wrap it all together.
01:38:48.000 Yeah, absolutely.
01:38:49.000 Especially when you study what brought it into, what brought the revolution into being.
01:38:54.000 You're talking about a dictatorial tyrant called King George III, who was not only enslaving the colonialists to pay for England's expansionism, but it was even restricting the types of sermons and what could be preached in colonial America.
01:39:12.000 Our founding fathers said, we've got to throw this yoke off, but you don't even have to listen to those guys.
01:39:18.000 Go back to William Bradford.
01:39:21.000 Go back to the Mayflower Compact and find out what those separatists were all about.
01:39:27.000 Their whole thing was they have, the church of Europe has placed upon us impossible things that God is not for.
01:39:36.000 God is for us to preach freely and to congregate freely.
01:39:39.000 So yes, remember this.
01:39:41.000 Romans 13 is in the Bible to protect the believer, not the government.
01:39:46.000 It says right there that the government's been appointed by God to do good.
01:39:50.000 When the government ceases to do good, it's no longer under the authority of God.
01:39:56.000 It's gone rogue.
01:39:57.000 It's called California.
01:39:59.000 And that's exactly what's happened.
01:40:01.000 And two examples, Daniel 6 and Acts 5, Daniel disobeyed the orders when they were against God's commands.
01:40:08.000 And he did so publicly and was willing to accept the price.
01:40:10.000 And Acts 5, the scriptures are, we will obey God rather than man.
01:40:14.000 The founding fathers first appealed through legal means.
01:40:16.000 That's right.
01:40:17.000 Then they appealed through written means.
01:40:19.000 They appealed through meetings, sending Benjamin Franklin to parliament.
01:40:22.000 And eventually, who fired the first shot?
01:40:24.000 Britain fired the first shot.
01:40:26.000 We did not.
01:40:26.000 They declared war on us.
01:40:27.000 It was not a war of independence.
01:40:29.000 It was really an attempt at separation.
01:40:32.000 We tried peaceful and we tried dialogue.
01:40:35.000 And eventually, if you had to go to blows and aims, then eventually it went to that because they understood the right, the righteous cause they were involved in.
01:40:42.000 Happy to go through that in a deeper, biblical, theological way, but we are over time.
01:40:46.000 I just want to say this.
01:40:48.000 Next meeting, everybody, October 19th, right, Joe?
01:40:51.000 We're going to have hopefully a really big speaker to announce.
01:40:53.000 And I want to say, everybody, there's momentum here in Arizona.
01:40:57.000 I feel it moving.
01:40:58.000 There will be an audit report coming out very soon that I hope we all keep our eyes on.
