00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, today on the Charlie Kirk Show, Alex Marlowe joins us about how should I handle my upcoming appearance on Gavin Newsom's podcast.

00:00:29.000 And dark and disturbing.
00:00:32.000 Victor Panta, former prime minister of Romania and wants to be the next president of Romania, joins the show to explain and discuss canceled elections, people being detained for no reason, that and so much more.

00:02:01.000 Today, breaking news, President Donald Trump is signing an executive order making English the official U.S. language.
00:02:10.000 Did you know that we did not have a U.S. language in our country's history?
00:02:13.000 Even though, of course, the Constitution, the Declaration, the Federalist Papers, all of our founding documents are written in English, our laws and our customs, we have not had an official language of the United States.
00:02:25.000 This is not insignificant.
00:02:26.000 This is about national unity.
00:02:29.000 The numbers are approximate, and they could put them in the chat, but based on my memory, I believe that Spanish is the dominant language for those under the age of 40 in the state of California, if I'm not mistaken.
00:02:43.000 That Spanish is actually spoken more than English at home in the state of California.
00:02:49.000 If you cannot communicate with your neighbor, you become a nation of strangers.
00:02:53.000 You become foreigners in your own land.
00:02:57.000 And more importantly, this is a symbol that we do have a certain tradition in this country and we are going to protect and defend it.
00:03:07.000 Did you know that English is an official language in India, Pakistan, and the Philippines, but not in America?
00:03:16.000 But up until today it is.
00:03:18.000 California is one of the most linguistically diverse states in the United States.
00:03:22.000 It's estimated more than 200 languages are spoken on its territory.
00:03:27.000 One-fourth of the population was foreign-born.
00:03:30.000 This is two times more than the rest of the United States.
00:03:33.000 Ten million foreigners.
00:03:35.000 And at some point, you become a colony, not a country.
00:03:39.000 And if you want America to be a colony, just tell us that.
00:03:42.000 A colony is where you could trade stuff, you could barter stuff.
00:03:45.000 However, you have nothing in common with your fellow countrymen.
00:03:49.000 And language is fundamental to that.
00:03:52.000 A nation is comprised, definitionally, of three...
00:03:56.000 Components.
00:03:57.000 Three ingredients.
00:03:58.000 You must have borders or else you're not a nation.
00:04:00.000 You must have unified language or else you're not a nation.
00:04:03.000 And you must have shared culture or else you are not a nation.
00:04:07.000 Borders, language, culture.
00:04:09.000 And I originally got that, by the way, from the great Michael Savage, just to be clear.
00:04:12.000 I did not come up with that, but when I started listening to him back in 2010, 2011, he was always on borders, language, culture, borders, language, culture.
00:04:20.000 And he's exactly right.
00:04:23.000 A nation ceases to exist.
00:04:27.000 Without strong, unifying practices and principles.
00:04:33.000 Six years ago, showed a study that there are more native Spanish speakers in the United States than in Spain.
00:04:42.000 It's remarkable stuff.
00:04:44.000 And we're going to say, no, English is the official language of the United States in official government documents.
00:04:49.000 And if you still want to talk Spanish at home, that's not what this applies to.
00:04:52.000 You can do, obviously, whatever you want.
00:04:52.000 Freedom of speech.
00:04:54.000 This, instead...
00:04:55.000 Applies to what will the U.S. government have as a standard.
00:04:59.000 No more when you call DHS, it's going to be press 2 for Spanish.
00:05:02.000 You've got to learn English.
00:05:04.000 And by the way, all of our, well not mine, because my family's been around since 1620, but all of people that have immigrated to this country, assimilate.
00:05:13.000 If you do not assimilate to the land that you come to, then you don't have a nation.
00:05:19.000 Assimilate through culture and through, most importantly, language.
00:05:23.000 Learn English.
00:05:25.000 To become an American.
00:05:26.000 It's a fundamental American practice, tradition, and value.
00:05:30.000 So I was on campus yesterday when a lot of this Epstein situation was unfolding.
00:05:35.000 I'm very well read into some things happening in the White House.
00:05:39.000 This one, complete outsider.
00:05:40.000 From what I understand, a lot of my friends were invited as influencers to some sort of an influencer gathering at the White House about meeting J.D. and meeting Caroline Levitt.
00:05:53.000 They were given binders about some of the Epstein documents, but apparently all the Epstein documents that they were given were documents that were already made public and so went totally viral.
00:06:05.000 The camera op was not scheduled.
00:06:07.000 It seems as if that the press was there to see Keir Starmer.
00:06:11.000 The Epstein files, which we need to see...
00:06:15.000 It is mandatory that we, the American people, see the Epstein files.
00:06:19.000 We have been told they're coming.
00:06:20.000 We've been told that the Epstein client list is on the desk.
00:06:24.000 We need to see every single Epstein document non-redacted.
00:06:28.000 No more redactions.
00:06:29.000 We need to see every single Epstein document.
00:06:32.000 The SDNY, FBI field office, is obviously stonewalling.
00:06:36.000 That should be sorted out as of today.
00:06:40.000 And we'll look for Pam Bondi, who I really like and really respect, to give updates.
00:06:44.000 But look, rather than being cynical, this is all proof that this administration wants to get the information out.
00:06:49.000 But there are other open questions about what documents there even are on Epstein and what have been destroyed.
00:06:54.000 And that's the other thing.
00:06:55.000 I bet there's been a lot of destruction of documents.
00:06:58.000 Are we going to learn about people like Les Wexner?
00:07:02.000 We don't know.
00:07:03.000 Are we going to learn about people like Reid Hoffman?
00:07:05.000 We don't know.
00:07:06.000 Bondi is giving Kash Patel 14 days to get to the bottom of this.
00:07:10.000 And I bet they're just shredding documents.
00:07:12.000 I don't want to be too cynical, but I bet there's a lot of destruction of documents right now.
00:07:17.000 And allow me to please prove that to you.
00:07:20.000 Remember when Lois Lerner did the IRS targeting scandal against conservatives and she lost the emails?
00:07:28.000 And she lost the emails?
00:07:30.000 Do you remember during the Mueller investigation?
00:07:33.000 During the Mueller investigation, when the Mueller team intentionally inputted wrong passwords on their phones so many times that it triggered an automatic phone wipe, whoops, broke my phone, thus triggering a complete broke my phone, thus triggering a complete deletion of all the text messages and communications on the Mueller team.
00:07:59.000 They should have been imprisoned just for that, the Mueller team.
00:08:03.000 I want you to understand what the Mueller team did.
00:08:04.000 They went through their phones.
00:08:07.000 So if you enter your wrong password enough times, like 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, wrong password, eventually it will wipe your phone.
00:08:17.000 And the entire team did that.
00:08:19.000 That is flagrant obstruction of justice, and none of them are held accountable.
00:08:23.000 But of course, the most obvious was Hillary Clinton's bleach bit of emails.
00:08:28.000 The deep state operation, they're deleting Epstein files almost certainly as we speak.
00:08:34.000 Look, I trust Kash Patel with my life.
00:08:37.000 I trust Pam Bondi.
00:08:38.000 I trust every single one of these people.
00:08:41.000 And I guarantee you right now, there is this major head-on collision happening.
00:08:47.000 And there you see a lot of my friends.
00:08:49.000 There's Liz Wheeler, who's great.
00:08:51.000 There's Scott Pressler.
00:08:52.000 There's Rogan O'Hanley.
00:08:53.000 And it says on the binders, the Epstein files, which is technically true.
00:08:58.000 However, a lot of these files, almost all of them, were already out previously.
00:09:04.000 And look, more will come, I hope.
00:09:05.000 And we want transparency.
00:09:06.000 In fact, we demand transparency.
00:09:08.000 And we've been told that the Epstein client list is right there on the desk, so we need to see it.
00:09:14.000 The expectation has been set very, very high here.
00:09:18.000 And the letter is, Dear Director Patel, before you came into office, I request the full and complete files related to Epstein.
00:09:25.000 By 8 a.m.
00:09:27.000 tomorrow, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to our office.
00:09:30.000 Guys, we've just got to get these out.
00:09:31.000 I'm going to be very honest.
00:09:32.000 You've just got to get them all out.
00:09:33.000 No more filter.
00:09:34.000 We don't care.
00:09:36.000 And just to be clear, all these friends that were there, Jack and Rogan, they thought they were receiving actual Epstein files.
00:09:45.000 These are stuff that we've known for three years.
00:09:47.000 There's nothing new in these.
00:09:50.000 Mike Cernovich was there.
00:09:51.000 Great American.
00:09:52.000 All of them are great.
00:09:52.000 They're all my friends.
00:09:53.000 I mean, they're phenomenal.
00:09:54.000 Every single one of them.
00:09:56.000 And there's a very easy way to make this right.
00:09:59.000 Every single document needs to be made public.
00:10:01.000 No redactions.
00:10:02.000 No names removed.
00:10:03.000 Every single document.
00:10:05.000 Just put it out there.
00:10:05.000 Full transparency.
00:10:08.000 Just publish them on a DOJ website.
00:10:10.000 Allow the internet to go ablaze.
00:10:12.000 Let things happen.
00:10:13.000 There's over 250 victims, they say.
00:10:16.000 And...
00:10:17.000 By the way, Trump signed an executive order ordering this.
00:10:21.000 Trump, this is all under the guise that Trump said this.
00:10:25.000 He signed the executive order.
00:10:26.000 And so yesterday, again, I was on campus.
00:10:28.000 I had a huge donor event last night.
00:10:30.000 People were texting me.
00:10:31.000 I was getting calls about Epstein.
00:10:32.000 I said, what are you talking about Epstein, all this stuff?
00:10:33.000 Meanwhile, Jack's taking selfies with binders, and we got people.
00:10:36.000 I was like, oh, people are all over the place.
00:10:37.000 A very confusing news day for me.
00:10:39.000 I was putting out fires.
00:10:41.000 I was raising money, and people are calling me like, why are they doing selfies?
00:10:44.000 And I said, there was an influence on me.
00:10:45.000 I had no idea.
00:10:45.000 All I know is this.
00:10:47.000 Is that we deserve, we were promised every single Epstein file with no redactions, and I hope we get it.
00:10:57.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:58.000 There's a lot of excitement in Washington, D.C. as we start the year, but I wanted to talk to you about something just as exciting happening outside the D.C. Beltway.
00:11:06.000 A revolution in the states.
00:11:08.000 It's the education freedom movement.
00:11:10.000 It's real, it's growing, and growing because some states, as they should, are putting parents in charge of the education of their kids.
00:11:18.000 Everyone knows education has the power to change a kid's life, and anyone who raised a child knows each has different needs, learning styles, and God-given talents.
00:11:27.000 The fact is parents know their own children best, knows what's best for their development and future.
00:11:33.000 Education freedom legislation puts parents, not zip codes and politicians in charge of these important family decisions.
00:11:41.000 It's why I strongly support making universal education freedom a reality for every parent in every state.
00:11:48.000 To find out where your state legislature stands and to make sure your voice is heard, go to educationfreedomusa.com now.
00:11:55.000 EducationFreedomUSA.com.
00:11:59.000 So on Tuesday, I will be taking off this program, and our guest, Alex Marlowe here from Breitbart, will be filling in.
00:12:06.000 Where will I be?
00:12:08.000 Play Cut 156. We need to change the conversation, and that's why I'm launching a new podcast.
00:12:15.000 And this is going to be anything but the Ordinary Politician podcast.
00:12:19.000 I'm going to be talking to people directly that I disagree with, as well as people I look up to.
00:12:25.000 But more important than anything else, I'll be talking directly with you, the listener.
00:12:29.000 Real conversations.
00:12:30.000 What's going on with the cost of eggs?
00:12:32.000 What are the impacts, real impacts to you around tariffs?
00:12:36.000 What power does an executive order really have?
00:12:39.000 And what's really going on inside of Doge?
00:12:42.000 Look, there's an onslaught of information that we take in.
00:12:45.000 So let's take it to the sources without the typical political mumbo-jumbo.
00:12:50.000 In the first few weeks, we're going to be sitting down with some of the biggest leaders and architects in the mega movement.
00:12:55.000 This is Gavin Newsom.
00:12:58.000 So Alex is a Californian.
00:13:01.000 Alex, I want to get your take on Gavin's new podcast.
00:13:03.000 And what advice would you have for me as I venture into that?
00:13:08.000 Well, first of all, I'm kind of surprised he's having you on, Charlie, because he is not a good debater.
00:13:13.000 And you're not only a great debater, but you're a seasoned debater.
00:13:17.000 You've been doing it nonstop.
00:13:19.000 Over a decade now.
00:13:21.000 He is someone who's going to be very vulnerable to debate, and I would not necessarily debate him in a traditional sense because you're going to crush him and it might look weird.
00:13:30.000 What I would love to see you do is actually probe his bad ideas because he's got a couple of parlor tricks.
00:13:35.000 He uses vocabulary to make it sound like he's incredibly informed on stuff.
00:13:39.000 He'll use words that you don't even know.
00:13:42.000 If you ask him to find the words, he doesn't know what they are.
00:13:44.000 And he doesn't have a good track record.
00:13:47.000 He tends to know where to show up in places and how to speak nicely to people who might disagree with him.
00:13:52.000 But then he goes around and he's spending, you know, $50 million right now trying to Trump-proof California at the same time he's asking for Trump to spend $40 billion on fire relief.
00:14:03.000 He's never really explained why the reservoirs have run dry and why we prioritize the Delta smelt over the human populations when it comes to the fires in California.
00:14:14.000 But the main thing I would do, Charlie, if I were you, is just ask him to fully flesh out his positions.
00:14:19.000 And what you'll find is he'll be using these words that are just trying to impress people as if he's an expert.
00:14:26.000 He's not an expert in anything other than being a politician.
00:14:29.000 You being a Californian, what would you say, an average non-political Californian, if they had an opportunity to challenge Gavin Newsom in an unfiltered way?
00:14:42.000 What would they say?
00:14:43.000 What would they complain about?
00:14:44.000 What would they question?
00:14:46.000 Yeah, so the first thing that we would ask is, why was there nothing done to mitigate or prevent the fires?
00:14:56.000 Everything's such a mess.
00:14:57.000 They didn't make one decision properly.
00:14:59.000 They had used all the DEI to gut the fire departments.
00:15:03.000 They had not updated.
00:15:06.000 They hadn't built a dam in 40 years.
00:15:09.000 The dam, D-A-M, not D-A-M-N. It is one of these things where...
00:15:14.000 There is nothing that had changed.
00:15:15.000 And we had prioritized bait fish.
00:15:17.000 We had prioritized salmon runs.
00:15:19.000 And ask him why he thinks that he should be, he does not deserve any accountability considering he's been a fixture in California politics for that long.
00:15:28.000 That's number one.
00:15:29.000 Number two, another thing is legal immigration.
00:15:32.000 The state has been completely changed by illegal immigration, not just electorally, but our school systems are unusable because of it.
00:15:39.000 We're in immense amounts of debt.
00:15:40.000 And he's never been held accountable even though he'd been open.
00:15:43.000 Open borders guy forever and the world's moved on and I would love to hear him acknowledge.
00:15:47.000 Do you know the world's move on?
00:15:49.000 Do you know people get it now that the open borders was a huge problem?
00:15:52.000 I would love to hear his explanation to that as well.
00:15:54.000 And then also, he squandered a golden opportunity in that we had a budget surplus for a while, and he just blew it.
00:15:59.000 You should ask him what he did with all that money.
00:16:01.000 What good came of all the money that he blew?
00:16:03.000 It was so crazy that we had a surplus.
00:16:06.000 I couldn't even believe it myself.
00:16:07.000 And he wasted it.
00:16:08.000 That was his ticket to have a chance of beating Trump, and I don't see how he could beat anyone in 2028, considering he blew all that, if we're able to make that case.
00:16:17.000 Quickly, he's probably going to run to the middle and position himself more as a moderate.
00:16:22.000 I'm just kind of inferring based on that trailer.
00:16:26.000 Do you think something like that could end up being successful?
00:16:29.000 30 seconds.
00:16:29.000 Yeah, it's a great thing that he has a feel for being able to do this.
00:16:35.000 He has a feel for being able to find a centrist position, but just know he's governed as a pure leftist, and it won't take you very long to bone up on some of his key proponents that he's taken up over the years, but they are...
00:16:48.000 Across the board, left-wing Democrat, quote-unquote progressive politics without a single exception.
00:16:53.000 He's never worked for a Republican or a moderate, which is why, again, I'm frankly surprised actually having you on because he's terrible in these situations because he's not used to debating people who disagree with him completely.
00:17:01.000 I rarely disagree with Alex.
00:17:03.000 I'll say I think he's smooth and slick.
00:17:05.000 We'll see.
00:17:06.000 Oh, he's definitely slick.
00:17:07.000 We agree there.
00:17:09.000 He's very slick.
00:17:11.000 Alex, you're the greatest, but you'll be here on Tuesday, and I will be elsewhere.
00:17:17.000 So we'll talk offline as well.
00:17:18.000 Thank you.
00:17:19.000 Also in the audience here, email me freedom at charliekirk.com of what you think I should bring up or question or answer.
00:17:26.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:17:30.000 One of the most important things happening in the country politically right now is the Supreme Court special election in the wonderful state of Wisconsin.
00:17:40.000 And joining us right now is the candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Brad Schimmel, a great Wisconsinite.
00:17:46.000 And American patriot.
00:17:48.000 Brad, welcome to the program.
00:17:50.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:17:51.000 Thanks for having me on and thanks for all you're doing to get the truth to conservatives and to get them to the polls.
00:17:58.000 This is the key here.
00:17:59.000 We've got to get conservatives to wake up and get out and vote.
00:18:02.000 It's the only way we're going to take our nation back and we're going to take the state of Wisconsin back.
00:18:06.000 I completely agree.
00:18:08.000 And let's just frame the significance of this.
00:18:11.000 And everybody in Wisconsin or a neighboring state, I want you to drop what you're doing and listen carefully.
00:18:17.000 Brad, it's an off-election year.
00:18:19.000 It's 2025. Didn't we just have an election?
00:18:21.000 Didn't we just elect a president?
00:18:23.000 Why is this important?
00:18:25.000 Please go into deep detail.
00:18:27.000 We have tons of time.
00:18:28.000 What's going on and why does this matter?
00:18:31.000 Well, in Wisconsin, we have our judicial elections in April.
00:18:34.000 So this is the normal judicial election cycle.
00:18:37.000 We have seven justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
00:18:40.000 Only one can be on the ballot at a time.
00:18:43.000 We've got a liberal justice retiring, and this is an open seat.
00:18:47.000 The stakes could not be higher here in Wisconsin.
00:18:50.000 Leftists took over the majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court two years ago in 2023, and they're going through a political agenda.
00:18:58.000 They are working to wipe out every conservative reform that's been passed in Wisconsin to make us strong, prosperous, safe.
00:19:05.000 All those things are on the chopping block now.
00:19:08.000 And it's not just about Wisconsin.
00:19:11.000 This is something that this race has become nationalized first from liberal billionaires across America.
00:19:18.000 Who saw an opportunity in Wisconsin to take the presidency, to take the House of Representatives.
00:19:25.000 Here's how.
00:19:26.000 My opponent went on a Zoom call with billionaire donors across America, liberal ones, of course, and she offered up.
00:19:35.000 That if she gets help getting elected onto the Wisconsin Supreme Court, they're going to take out two Republican congressional seats in Wisconsin and turn them Democrat.
00:19:45.000 That's what they're offering up.
00:19:46.000 This is bigger than just Wisconsin.
00:19:48.000 They are looking to control America through the actions of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
00:19:53.000 And the way she's going to do it is they're going to redistrict.
00:19:55.000 They're going to take those two, our two toughest Republican districts in Wisconsin, redistrict them so they can flip them Democrat.
00:20:03.000 That's what they're up to.
00:20:05.000 So let's go back to the previous Supreme Court race that we lost, I believe in 2023. What happened after we lost that?
00:20:15.000 What were some of the decisions that ensued because of that lost election?
00:20:19.000 You know, the candidate who ran, the liberal, she openly stated on the campaign trail how she was going to rule on cases.
00:20:26.000 She told voters that the maps are rigged, referring to the state legislative district maps.
00:20:33.000 She said they're rigged over and over again.
00:20:36.000 No surprise, the day after she was sworn in, the lawsuit was filed to have those maps struck down, and within a matter of months, the leftist majority bypassed the trial court, bypassed the Court of Appeals, took the case directly up, and struck down the maps that were put in law by our state legislature so they could be redistricted and gerrymandered.
00:20:58.000 To help Democrats.
00:21:00.000 That's what they're up to.
00:21:02.000 They promised on the campaign trail that they're going to take out a thing called Act 10. Most people in America don't know what it is, but it's a reform in Wisconsin that limited some of the bargaining power of public employee unions.
00:21:16.000 It has nothing to do with private sector unions, but limited some of the power of public sector unions.
00:21:22.000 They're promising on the campaign trail to take that out.
00:21:25.000 That is going to cost instantly.
00:21:28.000 It's going to cost Wisconsinites billions to try to overcome what happens when that law is wiped out.
00:21:34.000 They promised to do this.
00:21:35.000 They're going to keep that promise.
00:21:37.000 My opponent was the lead lawyer attacking Act 10 in the courts over a decade ago.
00:21:42.000 You know what she's going to do.
00:21:44.000 It's not hard to predict what's going to happen next, given what they're doing.
00:21:47.000 You mentioned something of great significance.
00:21:49.000 You said there is a lot of national, out-of-state Wisconsin money flowing into this.
00:21:56.000 Explain more, please.
00:21:58.000 You know, my opponent has gotten nearly half of her money from outside the state of Wisconsin.
00:22:05.000 97% of the money I've gotten and 97% of my donors are from people who vote in Wisconsin.
00:22:11.000 I'm proud of that, and I prefer that, but I can't keep up if she's going to continue to get a million dollars from George Soros.
00:22:20.000 He just passed a check.
00:22:22.000 Right through the state Democratic Party for a million dollars to my opponent.
00:22:25.000 The governor of Illinois is in for over half a million dollars already.
00:22:29.000 He was in for a million dollars two years ago.
00:22:32.000 Reid Hoffman is already in for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
00:22:35.000 She's getting all this money from these national liberal billionaires.
00:22:40.000 And I'm particularly concerned about George Soros because if that guy's influencing what someone does in a race.
00:22:46.000 We're not going to last very long as a state.
00:22:48.000 He hates everything good about America.
00:22:52.000 I want everyone to donate.
00:22:54.000 It's at schimmelforjustice.com.
00:22:56.000 But that is one M, not two.
00:22:58.000 Is that correct?
00:22:59.000 C-H-I-M-E-L forjustice.com.
00:23:04.000 You're incredibly solid, and we're behind you 100%.
00:23:07.000 I want to also ask just the...
00:23:12.000 The trend of these elections has become unnecessarily more partisan.
00:23:17.000 I imagine that 20 or 30 years ago, Wisconsin Supreme Court elections weren't this divisive.
00:23:24.000 But it is those on the left or on the activist side that are deciding to rewrite the Constitution and contort state law towards their political aims and ends and purposes.
00:23:37.000 Please speak to this.
00:23:38.000 Right.
00:23:39.000 They went...
00:23:39.000 They went raw political in 2023, promising what they were going to do on the bench when they got their majority elected.
00:23:48.000 And then they went forward and they started delivering on those promises.
00:23:52.000 They have turned this raw partisan.
00:23:55.000 And we have to turn this back.
00:23:58.000 The reason I got in this race is to restore objectivity of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
00:24:03.000 The legislature should make the law.
00:24:05.000 The political branches should worry about the politics.
00:24:08.000 On the court, we should set that aside.
00:24:10.000 When you put the black robe on, that's symbolic of being objective, being impartial, not worrying about whether it's a good policy or a bad policy, but simply enforcing and implementing the law the way the legislature wrote it.
00:24:27.000 If we don't do it that way, this all fails.
00:24:29.000 If the court's going to get into writing the laws, then there's no reason to have a legislature.
00:24:35.000 If the court's going to engage in political decisions, then there's no reason to have an executive branch.
00:24:40.000 And it takes away power from voters.
00:24:43.000 Our Supreme Court justices are elected statewide for a 10-year term.
00:24:48.000 So when they decide what the law says, that means the local legislator that represents you has no power.
00:24:56.000 And that means you as a voter have no power.
00:24:59.000 You have no way to take these justices out until 10 years later.
00:25:03.000 And they're going to decide everything for you.
00:25:05.000 That's what we have in Wisconsin.
00:25:07.000 In closing here, I know you anticipate being outspent, but not outworked.
00:25:13.000 What are ways that people can help?
00:25:15.000 And also reiterate, this is a purely turnout election.
00:25:19.000 That if we turn out, if we can get even, we won't get close to presidential turnout.
00:25:24.000 But even if we can break records and get low propensity voters, we're going to win.
00:25:29.000 Please explain more.
00:25:31.000 That's exactly the key.
00:25:32.000 3.4 million people voted in Wisconsin in our November election.
00:25:37.000 Now, on April 1st, we expect about a million and a half of them to fall off.
00:25:42.000 Whoever retains their voters best wins in this.
00:25:45.000 We've got to get out and ask those low-propensity and mid-propensity conservative-leaning voters, ask them if the job is done.
00:25:52.000 Do they think it's finished?
00:25:54.000 And I think they're all going to say, no, there's a lot more work to do.
00:25:58.000 Well, then we've got to convince them that part of that work is to get out and vote April 1st.
00:26:02.000 If I get 60% of the voters who voted for Donald Trump in Wisconsin for November 5th, if I get 60% of them to come out and vote for me on April 1st, I win.
00:26:13.000 That's our message to people, is get out there and vote.
00:26:16.000 This job is not done.
00:26:17.000 And it didn't take that much effort.
00:26:19.000 Seriously, it didn't take that much time to go vote.
00:26:22.000 Nothing bad happened.
00:26:23.000 No SWAT team came and kicked your door in after you voted.
00:26:27.000 You got to feel great on the morning after the election knowing you were part of a movement to save our nation.
00:26:34.000 You can continue to be part of that movement and have that great feeling on April 2nd.
00:26:38.000 If you get out and vote April 1st, and actually we've got to encourage people.
00:26:42.000 Wisconsin has very expansive early voting laws.
00:26:45.000 You can start voting by mail early by March 11th.
00:26:48.000 You can vote in person early absentee March 18th.
00:26:52.000 We're urging people to get out and do that because in Wisconsin, we can certainly have a blizzard on April 1st.
00:26:57.000 You don't want to have that happen and you don't get out and get your votes cast.
00:27:01.000 We have people watching who live in Wisconsin, people listening to the show that...
00:27:06.000 They have relatives in Wisconsin.
00:27:09.000 You need to get every single person you can out to the polls and vote and be an activist yourself.
00:27:16.000 It's schimelforjustice.com, S-C-H-I-M-E-L for justice.com.

00:28:41.000 Okay, everybody, there is a lot going on in a certain Eastern European country, and it's not Ukraine.
00:28:48.000 We will talk about Ukraine, but it's Romania.
00:28:52.000 Growing up in Chicago, there were some amazing Romanian-Americans that I was raised with, really great people that were passionate about America, and of course, also the country of origin of Romania.
00:29:05.000 It's always been a beautiful place.
00:29:06.000 My wife's visited there.
00:29:07.000 She's done a lot of work.
00:29:08.000 But what's going on in Romania is of international significance that everyone here should care about.
00:29:15.000 Canceled elections, people being detained for differences of opinion, and so much more.
00:29:23.000 To help us understand this is the former prime minister of Romania.
00:29:28.000 He's a member of the Chamber of Deputies and also a candidate for a new term for the president of Romania, Victor Ponta.
00:29:37.000 Mr. Prime Minister, thank you so much for joining the program and for making time for us today.
00:29:43.000 Please take a second to introduce yourself and welcome to the program.
00:29:46.000 First of all, good morning in America.
00:29:50.000 It's not morning in Romania, but we are really looking for sunnier weather here in terms of politics, and we have great hopes after the new Trump administration came.
00:30:03.000 Yes, I was Prime Minister a long time, ten years ago, when Romania was trying to become a real strategic partner for the United States.
00:30:14.000 When Romania was making big economic advances.
00:30:19.000 But in the last years, unfortunately, a sort of network of, like you say, you call it in America, the deep state, took over the power.
00:30:30.000 It was strongly supported by some people in Brussels and even some people in your former administration.
00:30:38.000 Romanian people, they just want to live peacefully, to be a part of Europe, but to have a special relationship with the United States.
00:30:51.000 There was a lot of hope with the new administration, with Trump administration, that we will go back to our shared values.
00:30:59.000 But as you mentioned, and I'm sure you want to get to the point, what happened in the elections showed us that the former system do not surrender, do not accept the vote of the people.
00:31:12.000 Last year in November it was the first round which was cancelled based on some allegation never proved.
00:31:20.000 And since then we are in this turmoil.
00:31:23.000 Officially we will have new elections in May, but every day something new is happening.
00:31:29.000 And I think that what is happening in Romania is significant for the whole fight for freedom of speech, for the will of the people, and the change of the former system in the US, in Europe, and all over the and the change of the former system in the US, in So, thank you for that.
00:31:49.000 I know you're running for president again, which is of high consequence and also potential risk given all of the different factors.
00:31:56.000 So, let's just repeat what you said and further explain this.
00:31:59.000 So, Romania is part of NATO and part of now the Western democratic traditions.
00:32:07.000 And I put that in air quotes.
00:32:09.000 And it's supposed to be a country that Would respect democracy and freedom of speech and the will of the people.
00:32:16.000 I don't want to move on too quickly from what you said.
00:32:20.000 There was a nullified presidential election.
00:32:24.000 And what was the accusation and who was able to make that decision?
00:32:30.000 So let's try to explain something which is difficult to explain even to the Romanian people, the ones who get to vote.
00:32:38.000 They saw a result with two candidates in the second round.
00:32:41.000 One is Mr. Georgescu, the other one a lady from a very progressive party.
00:32:50.000 They qualified for the second round.
00:32:53.000 It was obvious, according to all the polls and the public mood, that Mr. Georgescu was going to win.
00:33:02.000 And then the Supreme Council of Defending the Country, which is a body chaired by the former president of Romania, who finished his mandate, they recommended the Constitutional Court to cancel the elections based on they recommended the Constitutional Court to cancel the elections based on an allegation that it was Russian and foreign interference in support of one of the
00:33:27.000 We were all shocked first because in our democratic experience in the last 35 years, it was first time that an election is canceled.
00:33:40.000 Second, because the allegations coming from the former president were so, let's say, really shocking.
00:33:49.000 Russia interference with just us and the US and Europe and the independent observers, they just said, show us the proof, show us the evidence.
00:34:02.000 We've seen that also in your election, so many allegations of Mr. Trump being supported by Russia.
00:34:10.000 And we haven't seen any evidence up to now.
00:34:13.000 The election was still cancelled by the Constitutional Court.
00:34:17.000 And the turmoil, the angriness of the people, it's going towards the idea you don't accept our vote unless our vote is the direction that you wish.
00:34:31.000 Something that Vice President Vance underlined in the recent Munich conference speech, and which our political establishment rejected, but the majority of the people consider it right and true regarding our situation.
00:34:48.000 So I have to stay on this for a second.
00:34:51.000 So this sounds very similar to what happened in America in 2017. So the main allegation was that the TikTok campaign of one of the candidates has
00:35:21.000 been massively supported from outside of the country and by a state entity.
00:35:31.000 This is called in this Supreme Council of Defense statement.
00:35:39.000 And then, yes, the Constitutional Court in Romania, it has the general right, like it is the Supreme Court in the United States, of defending the Constitution.
00:35:50.000 It doesn't say in any provision that they can cancel the election or they can It's just guarding the Constitution and also the Constitutional Court is supposed to certify the result of the presidential election.
00:36:11.000 But it has never interfered before.
00:36:14.000 We had many presidential elections.
00:36:16.000 We had good results and bad results depending on which candidate we supported.
00:36:22.000 But it has the Constitutional Court, if you ask me very specifically, it's the first time in 35 years when it takes such a decision of examining and the cancellation of presidential election.
00:36:37.000 That's why we are all so frustrated and so worried about the real democratic rules, because the majority of us, we feel that this is not democratic, that if the people vote, So let me just ask,
00:37:02.000 The fellow European countries that are defenders of democracy, that are relentlessly lecturing America and Romania about the need for elections and we can't have autocracy.
00:37:15.000 Did Germany speak out against this?
00:37:18.000 Did France speak out against this?
00:37:20.000 Did Italy speak out against this?
00:37:22.000 The fact that you guys were not able to have an election.
00:37:27.000 What was the response from the ruling class of the European elite when your election was nullified?
00:37:36.000 Unfortunately, Charlize.
00:37:38.000 it was the...
00:37:39.000 The response that you, for sure, you will expect.
00:37:43.000 They immediately took the official statement and they supported without having any more data than the statement from Romanian authorities.
00:37:58.000 And they said, yeah, yeah, it's obvious that Russia has interfered.
00:38:03.000 And I would also add that your former state secretary, Mr. Blinken, Maybe in 48 hours, had the same opinion.
00:38:12.000 And the public, he published his opinion.
00:38:15.000 We support Romanian government and authorities on cancelling the election.
00:38:20.000 When the administration changed, and we are happy for this, it started to be a real debate.
00:38:28.000 And it started to, first of all, the US new government to ask questions.
00:38:36.000 Really?
00:38:36.000 What are your proofs?
00:38:38.000 What are your evidence?
00:38:39.000 How did you take such a decision?
00:38:41.000 How do you want to give us, your partners, clear messages that you will respect the will of the people?
00:38:50.000 But December, as you regarding your very direct question, the European establishment and the Biden administration, they just took it for granted the short communication of the Romanian authorities.
00:39:07.000 And they didn't check.
00:39:08.000 They just supported without getting too deep into this.
00:39:12.000 All in the name of democracy, the Western governments who constantly are telling us that that autocracy is growing, that for some reason we have to cancel elections.
00:39:24.000 So I know that you're going to be running for president again.
00:39:26.000 I want to get into that.
00:39:27.000 But let me just ask a more broad and general question.
00:39:32.000 Of course, Romania was in the Eastern Bloc for decades and lived under a form of totalitarianism, outsourced totalitarianism, and communism and Marxism.
00:39:45.000 I know you're running for the presidency again, and you were former prime minister.
00:39:49.000 Are you concerned that the country that you love, that you want to serve again, is becoming more like a Soviet top-down dictatorship?
00:40:03.000 I am very concerned because I've seen what happened in Romania in the last years.
00:40:10.000 And because you mentioned, yes, we come from the communist bloc, but even during the Soviet time, we succeeded to preserve our national values, which is loving our country, religion, family, traditional values, which are very close to our mentality.
00:40:30.000 And in the last years, we felt like coming from Brussels this time, not from Moscow, it was the same effort of trying to change our values, our mentality, our traditions.
00:40:47.000 And the reaction of the people, including myself, it was like, look, we want to be in Europe.
00:40:53.000 We feel well in Europe, but we want to be Romanians.
00:40:57.000 And we want to put Romania first.
00:41:00.000 The majority of Romanians, they were clear supporters of President Trump when saying America first.
00:41:09.000 It's something that not only the Romanian people, but I think the Eastern countries felt even more than the Western ones.
00:41:18.000 It was a sort of dictatorship of unnatural and unspecific values from Brussels.
00:41:27.000 Besides the huge bureaucracy, the hypocrisy coming from there, and this very easy Orwellian speech, if you are with us, you are good.
00:41:41.000 If you disagree on something, you are with Russia or you are with somebody bad.
00:41:47.000 It was a huge pressure.
00:41:49.000 And this is how I explain why the two candidates coming from the government, from the main parties, They did not even qualify for the second round.
00:42:00.000 It was the first time in our democracy, and it gave a very, very strong message about what Romanian people really want.
00:42:08.000 A big change, not changing the Moscow times with the Brussels times.
00:42:14.000 We don't love Russia.
00:42:16.000 We are afraid of Russia, but we see the United States as being our ally, which will guarantee not only our military safe.
00:42:26.000 But also our values and our democracy and our freedom of speech and everything that we and our parents have fought for.
00:42:35.000 So I want to continue on that, which is if you are elected prime minister again, how would you position yourself with the incoming Trump administration?
00:42:47.000 Because the new German government seems to be saying we must decouple from the United States.
00:42:53.000 You're running for president, not prime minister, I'm sorry.
00:42:56.000 You're running for president.
00:42:57.000 My apologies.
00:42:59.000 And so if you are president, again, how would you position your country with the United States when it comes to not just international and geopolitical matters, but also ones of domestic concern?
00:43:12.000 How should Romania and the United States work cooperatively?
00:43:16.000 I strongly believe that, first of all, the values, most of the values that we have The Trump administration is trying to reinstate in the United States are not only acceptable, but are feeling very familiar to Romanians.
00:43:34.000 Once again, to put your country on first position, you put United States, and President Trump is doing this.
00:43:40.000 We should put Romania on the first position always, and to fight for our sovereignty and our national interest.
00:43:50.000 Also, once again, that...
00:43:52.000 respecting all the people.
00:43:55.000 But we have a tradition, we have a religion, we have our values which should be respected and in Europe we just have to be a member of a club but not surrendering our tradition and our national interest.
00:44:14.000 Being more concrete regarding this new...
00:44:18.000 because it's a new...
00:44:20.000 Let's call it a conflict between the US and the European establishment.
00:44:27.000 First of all, I think that the idea of change is more than necessary for Europe like it is for America.
00:44:37.000 Whatever is important about reducing bureaucracy, getting back to the real values, cutting off the Soros fake values that were imposed, it's something good for Europe and it's something good for Romania.
00:44:54.000 Besides that, in terms of security, Romania wishes to contribute more.
00:45:00.000 We understand that we cannot just say, "We don't care.
00:45:05.000 America will defend us against Russia.
00:45:08.000 So it's U.S. concern to bring here military." No, we want to share.
00:45:15.000 We want to have a very pragmatic approach, saying, Look, Romania can afford now to pay, to invest more, as long as we have a strong and reliable partner in the United States.
00:45:27.000 And I strongly believe that Europe is going to be weaker without the United States.
00:45:36.000 I strongly believe that NATO without the United States doesn't exist and doesn't work.
00:45:42.000 And it's the interest of Romania, and it's in the good interest of Europe, To strengthen the relationship, military, politically, economically with the United States, not to look for a conflict which will totally be in disadvantage of my country and Europe.
00:46:05.000 During your premiership, the Romanian economy grew quite significantly.
00:46:12.000 What was your proudest achievement when you were Prime Minister?
00:46:18.000 And what would you have done differently, maybe in hindsight, from 2012 to 2015?
00:46:22.000 So when I was Prime Minister, this is something that, to my big surprise, my enemies and my friends are sharing.
00:46:30.000 The Romanian economy was growing based on very low taxation and less reglementation.
00:46:39.000 And also, we strengthened the partnership with the United States.
00:46:44.000 And we tried.
00:46:45.000 I was the one.
00:46:47.000 To start the big projects with American companies regarding our natural resources.
00:46:54.000 Romania is a very rich country.
00:46:57.000 Human richness, but also natural resources.
00:47:01.000 We started the exploration for the natural gas on the Black Sea.
00:47:07.000 So, big economic projects which made the life of Romanians Much better and they felt it like this.
00:47:14.000 They felt it in their pockets.
00:47:16.000 They felt it in the quality of education and health.
00:47:23.000 This is something that Romanians really appreciated to see the economic growth.
00:47:28.000 What I would do differently, and I will do differently, I will take from President Millet of Argentina.
00:47:38.000 I will take maybe not a silver.
00:47:39.000 We are a very rich country in gold.
00:47:41.000 I will take a gold machine and cut our bureaucracy and also I will start the fight with the only bureaucracy which is worse than Romanian.
00:47:55.000 I mean the Brussels and European bureaucracy.
00:47:59.000 I think this is the biggest The problem for the development of Romania and Europe.
00:48:08.000 And besides the bureaucracy, because this is very important to mention, the Soros Network ruled Romania and it's still ruling.
00:48:17.000 And it doesn't rule Romania in the interest of our people.
00:48:21.000 I think the values that they imposed of us, they were wrong values.
00:48:25.000 And I'm sure that I will assure that Romanians are living every day.
00:48:36.000 Thank you for mentioning that.
00:48:38.000 Let's dive a little bit deeper, if that's okay.
00:48:40.000 George Soros is well known here in American circles for pumping billions of dollars into our communities, our neighborhoods, our district attorney races, trying to thwart the will of the people and trying to turn America into an open border, no crime enforcement, weakened, disastrous country.
00:48:58.000 What specifically has George Soros and his foundation Open Society Foundation done in your country.
00:49:05.000 And if you win the election, what would you do about it?
00:49:09.000 The worst thing that people financed and supported, not only by Soros NGOs, but sometimes even from your USAID funds.
00:49:24.000 We were so happy to see that you started in America to unveil how those funds were used and how those funds were used against the interest of the people, but rather to control different countries and different nations.
00:49:41.000 So maybe the worst thing that they do, they try to control the judiciary.
00:49:48.000 And a lot of prosecutors and judges They just persecuted people because we were promoting different political ideas.
00:50:00.000 They prosecuted people for having different opinions on social networks or in the media.
00:50:08.000 The Soros network built up a sort of network of analysts, reporters, journalists, influencers who are just telling us This is the truth.
00:50:22.000 These are the values.
00:50:24.000 You have to obey to this.
00:50:26.000 Or otherwise, our prosecutors will prosecute you for something else.
00:50:31.000 And now, just crossing my mind, I remember that the biggest protesters against all energy and natural resources projects that we started with big American companies.
00:50:46.000 So the protesters, they were...
00:50:48.000 Openly financed and supported by Soros.
00:50:53.000 That's why we remained so much looking to our resources without being able to use it for our people.
00:51:02.000 It was a very bad network.
00:51:05.000 And it is still in place.
00:51:07.000 And they are the ones telling us right now Trump is bad.
00:51:12.000 America is bad.
00:51:13.000 We have to fight with them.
00:51:15.000 But thanks God...
00:51:17.000 The public mood this time really changed.
00:51:21.000 And it's not so easy to be intimidated or manipulated like it used to be before.
00:51:27.000 I am thrilled to hear that.
00:51:30.000 So, anything else you want our audience to be aware of about why you are running and the stakes?
00:51:36.000 And who is your opposition?
00:51:38.000 What is the contrasting political party?
00:51:41.000 What are they advocating for?
00:51:43.000 Kind of educate our audience, the separate visions that are being presented to the Romanian people.
00:51:50.000 So I would just wish to take this great opportunity to talk to you.
00:51:55.000 You have so many followers, so many people in America, first of all, to tell you that the majority of American people, they really look to the United States like the model for democracy and for freedom, and even my parents.
00:52:09.000 They looked at this.
00:52:11.000 And my grandparents, they were waiting for the Americans to free us, to make us live in peace and freedom and democracy.
00:52:20.000 And it's still the same.
00:52:21.000 And I also wish to tell you that all the Romanians, most of the Romanians who are working in America or with U.S. companies, they tried to prove that...
00:52:35.000 We are good partners and reliable partners.
00:52:38.000 We share the same value.
00:52:39.000 We like to go to church.
00:52:41.000 We like to go to family.
00:52:42.000 We like to love our country and to be allowed to do this.
00:52:49.000 And I'm sure that even that we are not such a big country, but we are a significant country in this area, you can rely on us as long as...
00:53:04.000 You find the trustworthy people.
00:53:09.000 I strongly believe that this partnership is a win-win.
00:53:13.000 It's not Romanians asking from Americans.
00:53:16.000 It's rather, let's live together on the same, sharing the same values.
00:53:21.000 Let's do business together.
00:53:23.000 Let's defend together and pay our fair share for this.
00:53:28.000 And let's make America great again and make Romania free and independent again.
00:53:38.000 I love it.
00:53:40.000 Let me just play a couple pieces of tape here and I would love to get your reaction.
00:53:45.000 Let's go to cut 209, please.
00:53:47.000 Now we're at the point, of course, that the situation has gotten so bad that this December...
00:53:53.000 Romania straight-up canceled the results of a presidential election based on the flimsy suspicions of an intelligence agency and enormous pressure from its continental neighbors.
00:54:04.000 Now, as I understand it, the argument was that Russian disinformation had infected the Romanian elections.
00:54:12.000 But I'd ask my European friends to have some perspective.
00:54:16.000 You can believe it's wrong for Russia to buy social media advertisements to influence your elections.
00:54:22.000 We certainly do.
00:54:24.000 You can condemn it on the world stage even.
00:54:26.000 But if your democracy can be destroyed with a few hundred thousand dollars of digital advertising from a foreign country, then it wasn't very strong to begin with.
00:54:36.000 Your reaction, sir?
00:54:39.000 Yeah, I was listening to the speech of Vice President Vance.
00:54:43.000 And for most of the Romanians, it was like, you see, they come to help us when we need.
00:54:49.000 Our president, our politicians, they were enraged.
00:54:55.000 Oh, it's not true.
00:54:56.000 But yes, it's true.
00:54:58.000 Are we a strong democracy?
00:55:00.000 Then if we are a strong democracy, we don't use undemocratic tools to cancel election.
00:55:07.000 We have to prove if Russia has been involved or not.
00:55:11.000 Otherwise, The people went to vote, you have to respect that vote.
00:55:16.000 That was the message that I got from Vice President Vance and I think it was what the majority of Romanians were wanting to hear and they were pleased to see that our big partner finally has such a strong voice supporting the Romanian people's will.
00:55:38.000 Very good to have you on the program, sir.
00:55:40.000 Thank you for all of your time.
00:55:42.000 I would love to visit Romania.
00:55:44.000 However, I will say this.
00:55:45.000 As a Westerner, I don't know, under current leadership, if I were to come to Romania, I might be arrested under the direction that it's going.
00:55:53.000 So we need you to win the presidency or whomever, whatever party, and then I would imagine I would be welcome in your country.
00:56:00.000 Is that correct?
00:56:01.000 It's more than correct.
00:56:03.000 You will see Romanians are wonderful people.
00:56:06.000 It's a wonderful country.
00:56:08.000 And we will fight for our rights, and we will be most welcome to a new free and democratic Romania.
00:56:17.000 I'm sure about it.
00:56:18.000 And it's going to be very soon.
00:56:20.000 We'll be watching very closely, and hopefully you'll be able to restrain the Soros influence and return to a free society.
00:56:28.000 Thank you so much, and best of luck.
00:56:29.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:56:30.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:56:33.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
