00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody.
00:00:00.000 Today in the Charlie Kirk Show, we have Senator Rick Scott to go through the 11 promises he has.
00:00:05.000 We don't go through all 11, but they're pretty impressive.
00:00:07.000 I got to tell you, for a senator and someone from Florida, I'm just encouraged.
00:00:12.000 I think you will be too.
00:00:14.000 This is the direction the Republican Party is going.
00:00:17.000 We're making progress, everybody.
00:00:19.000 I can tell you that much.
00:00:20.000 Support our show at charliekirk.com/slash support.
00:00:23.000 Get behind us at turningpointusa at tpusa.com and email me directly, alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:28.000 Buckle up, everybody, here.
00:00:29.000 We go.
00:00:30.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:32.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:34.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:37.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:40.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:41.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:42.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:00:44.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:49.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:51.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:00.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:03.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:11.000 So I hate to spend too much time on the State of the Union because it was so terrible.
00:01:14.000 It was actually one of the worst received State of the Unions ever.
00:01:18.000 According to a recent Flash poll after the State of the Union, only 41% of viewers reacted very positively to Biden's State of the Union, the lowest in 15 years since George W. Bush addressed Congress in 2007.
00:01:33.000 And so I don't want to spend too much time on this, but I do feel, I do believe, I should say, that you have a moral obligation to confront lies.
00:01:42.000 You shouldn't put up with it.
00:01:44.000 So when there is a repeated and deliberate deceit campaign, I think it's time, I think it's well within a good use of our time to go through that.
00:01:56.000 And there's a phenomenal piece that's going to help us through it from thefederalist.com: 17 absurd lies Biden told during his State of the Union Address.
00:02:03.000 The first I want to get into is freedom will always triumph over tyranny.
00:02:08.000 He goes and he says that freedom will always triumph over tyranny.
00:02:10.000 Oh, really?
00:02:11.000 How about the armed service members that you just discharged from the military for not wanting to take the vaccine?
00:02:21.000 You tried to force the coronavirus vaccine on American workers.
00:02:24.000 You pushed your administration to work with big tech to censor your political opponents.
00:02:30.000 You smeared Republicans as domestic terrorists, but you have the audacity to say that freedom will always triumph over tyranny.
00:02:40.000 Next one, next lie is when he said that his powerful sanctions have stopped Russia.
00:02:46.000 He said, quote, a Russian dictator invading a foreign country has costs around the world.
00:02:50.000 And I'm taking robust action to make sure the pain of our sanctions is targeted at the Russian economy.
00:02:55.000 Of course, he will not open the American energy LNG sector at all.
00:03:02.000 He won't do it.
00:03:04.000 Kim Reynolds actually had a really good response to this.
00:03:06.000 She's the governor of Iowa.
00:03:08.000 She delivered the Republican response to Biden's State of the Union address, PlayCut 61.
00:03:14.000 The disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal did more than cost American lives.
00:03:19.000 It betrayed our allies and emboldened our enemies.
00:03:23.000 And now Russia has launched an unprovoked, full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
00:03:30.000 An attack on democracy, freedom, and the rule of law.
00:03:35.000 Now all Americans must stand united in solidarity with the brave people of Ukraine as they courageously defend their country against Putin's tyranny as they fight for their freedom.
00:03:49.000 But we shouldn't ignore what happened in the run-up to Putin's invasion.
00:03:54.000 Waiving sanctions on Russian pipelines while eliminating oil production here at home.
00:04:00.000 Focusing on political correctness rather than military readiness.
00:04:06.000 Weakness on the world stage has a cost.
00:04:09.000 And one of those costs very well might be China taking Taiwan.
00:04:15.000 President Trump agrees with that.
00:04:17.000 Play cut 68.
00:04:19.000 I'm the one that got all of that.
00:04:20.000 Yeah, I see it happening in Ukraine rather, rather soon because President Xi happens to be a man with a high intelligence level, and he looks at what happened in Afghanistan, the way we pulled out.
00:04:34.000 Not that we were pulling out, because I was the one that got it down to 2,000 soldiers.
00:04:39.000 And he sees that, and this is his opportunity to do what he wants to do, which is he's wanted to do that, and China's wanted to do that for decades.
00:04:48.000 Joe Biden continued by saying that he created lots of jobs.
00:04:52.000 I want to really get in on this job creation nonsense.
00:04:54.000 So you lock down the economy, and then you mildly reopen the economy, and you count that as new job growth.
00:05:00.000 No, that's job refilling.
00:05:04.000 It's not new job growth, especially in the hospitality sector, especially in the travel area.
00:05:11.000 Joe Biden says he created lots of jobs.
00:05:13.000 He also said the solution to inflation is to lower your costs.
00:05:17.000 Well, also, we're going to try to spend another $6 trillion on complete and total nonsense.
00:05:22.000 He said then he did a very interesting pivot here.
00:05:25.000 He realizes how unpopular the Democrat crime agenda is.
00:05:31.000 And he said funding for police is a big priority for his administration.
00:05:35.000 But he also, back in 2020, said police were racist and that they need to lose their funding.
00:05:43.000 So if I were to kind of give my big takeaway from all this of the State of the Union address, first of all, and I don't say this lightly, the Biden cartel that is running the White House, it's not just that they're radical.
00:05:57.000 It's not just that they want a transformation of Western society.
00:06:03.000 It's also that they're not very good at it.
00:06:06.000 They're not even good at communicating the unraveling of America.
00:06:10.000 They're not even good at trying to spin what is happening.
00:06:14.000 I mean, if Connor and I and Andrew and I were put into a video game and or put into some sort of position where we had to put, we would do a better job than what Joe Biden did yesterday.
00:06:26.000 What was also very interesting is Joe Biden didn't mention January 6th at all.
00:06:32.000 Then mention it.
00:06:34.000 Meanwhile, CNN says that American jobs will not return to pre-pandemic levels until 2024.
00:06:40.000 The number of employed Americans won't return to its pre-pandemic levels until 2024.
00:06:46.000 But the broad economy is expected to fully recover by the middle of this year, according to a Congressional Budget Office report issued on Monday.
00:06:55.000 Reuters, a pre-pandemic U.S. job report is a long way off.
00:06:58.000 The U.S. job market is still nursing itself back to health, is what Reuters says.
00:07:03.000 Joe Biden continued by saying, let me play this whole job creation thing for you.
00:07:08.000 Play cut 66.
00:07:10.000 It worked.
00:07:11.000 You created jobs, lots of jobs.
00:07:13.000 In fact, our economy created over 6.5 million new jobs just last year.
00:07:20.000 More jobs in one year than ever before in the history of the United States of America.
00:07:28.000 The economy grew at a rate of 5.7 last year, the strongest growth rate in 40 years.
00:07:33.000 It's so dishonest, and he knows it.
00:07:35.000 It's called pent-up demand.
00:07:36.000 The economy started to reopen for obvious reasons as COVID started to subside and Omicron took center stage.
00:07:43.000 And he's trying to take credit for an economic win, but the people aren't buying it.
00:07:46.000 The American people are like, yeah, okay, you're totally lying about it.
00:07:50.000 And then Joe Biden has the spine and the, I mean, I keep saying audacity.
00:07:56.000 There's other words for it.
00:07:57.000 Let's say the gumption to then say we need to secure our border and fix the immigration system.
00:08:02.000 Joe Biden, I went to Yuma at the Yuma sector in Arizona.
00:08:06.000 I saw for myself people crossing the border with the help and the assistance of the cartel.
00:08:12.000 And I saw with my own eyes, border patrol that basically had to shrug their shoulders and say, we're not able to do our job because of orders from the very top.
00:08:21.000 Play Cut 77.
00:08:22.000 If we're to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure our border and fix the immigration system.
00:08:35.000 As you might guess, I think we can do both.
00:08:39.000 So have you done that?
00:08:40.000 Two million people illegally entered into our country last year, which is nothing short of invasion of our country.
00:08:46.000 I had a dinner with some people last night, and even some people that don't like Trump very much, I could tell you, there is large consensus that, boy, I wish that he was back in office.
00:08:57.000 How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
00:08:59.000 Producer Andrews right here doing an Iron Man thanks to Relief Factor.
00:09:02.000 And truth is, I know there are millions of people.
00:09:04.000 In fact, some say over 100 million people struggling with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise or just getting older.
00:09:10.000 That can do it, getting older, which is why I'm so impressed with the people at relieffactor.com.
00:09:14.000 They are on a mission.
00:09:15.000 You rarely see this kind of focus and commitment.
00:09:17.000 They recently shared with me that they are doubling down and want to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year.
00:09:23.000 And I believe they'll do it.
00:09:24.000 So here's the deal.
00:09:25.000 If you're struggling with back pain, neck pain, shoulder, hip, or knee pain, even general muscle aches and pain, then I'm suggesting you order their three-week quick start, still discounted, only $19.95.

00:09:41.000 Discount only $19.95.
00:09:43.000 See if it will work for you.
00:09:44.000 I think it possibly could.
00:09:45.000 Give your body what it needs to heal itself.
00:09:47.000 Go to relieffactor.com.
00:09:48.000 That's relieffactor.com.
00:09:50.000 Check it out right now.
00:09:53.000 Joe Biden says that he is expanding the petroleum reserve to try and hedge against the increased price of oil.
00:10:03.000 What's oil at today?
00:10:04.000 Let's see.
00:10:05.000 Priceofoil, oilprice.com.
00:10:07.000 It's a great time to be in the oil business, I suppose.
00:10:10.000 Whoa, $111 a barrel.
00:10:13.000 You've got to be kidding me.
00:10:15.000 I think I told everybody my story of my triple leveraged oil ETF that folded because not enough people believed in the future of oil during COVID.
00:10:25.000 I bought a bunch of it and it went under.
00:10:28.000 Good lesson when you buy triple leveraged ETFs that they can go under.
00:10:33.000 But boy, would I be cooking with gas with that right now?
00:10:35.000 No pun intended, I should say.
00:10:39.000 Wall Street Journal writes here on the front page: in State of the Union, Biden says Putin miscalculated.
00:10:45.000 So this really is kind of the open question.
00:10:48.000 Is Putin a pathological maniac or does Putin have some sort of game here?
00:10:52.000 Is Putin surprised that the entire West is consolidating around the idea of restricting Russia?
00:11:03.000 Remains to be seen precisely what the point is there, or it remains to be seen exactly what the truth is there, I should say.
00:11:13.000 Pete Boot Edge Edge, who is never one who's to be shy of cameras, who I think was developed in a laboratory just for the sake of trying to be a perfect robot of the technological left, says, look, here's the thing.
00:11:29.000 I run the transportation department.
00:11:31.000 I know a lot about transportation.
00:11:33.000 I drove over a lot of potholes when I was mayor and I did nothing to fix them.
00:11:37.000 We're under an energy transformation.
00:11:39.000 And guess what?
00:11:40.000 He's actually telling the truth.
00:11:42.000 They believe they are so confident in themselves.
00:11:45.000 They are so full of pride that they believe, geopolitics aside, the ability to energize your society, that they are so important that they can transform the entire economy of the wealthiest nation ever to exist in the history of the world.
00:12:02.000 They can execute a metamorphosis.
00:12:05.000 PlayCut 72.
00:12:07.000 Drill more, open up more U.S. land to drilling.
00:12:11.000 What's the administration's response to that idea?
00:12:15.000 Well, look, the president has laid out and taken a number of steps, including addressing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
00:12:23.000 Let's also be clear that we are in the middle of a long-term transformation that is already fast underway, especially when it comes to vehicles.
00:12:32.000 The idea that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is going to do anything, it will basically fuel America for a couple days, if that.
00:12:42.000 We have doubled our oil imports from Russia.
00:12:46.000 This is what's so funny about this.
00:12:47.000 So PolitiFact comes after Maria Bartaroma for saying this.
00:12:52.000 They say they're rating it mostly false that we've doubled our oil imports from Russia.
00:12:56.000 And then when you scroll down two paragraphs in the article, you'll learn that, quote, the U.S. did double the amount of crude oil imported from Russia last year, but Russia accounts for only 3% of U.S. crude oil imports in 2021.
00:13:07.000 So it's mostly false, but it's also literally true.
00:13:10.000 Wait, so if we only get 3% of our oil from Russia, why don't we restrict all oil coming from Russia?
00:13:20.000 We have the ability to break the back of the Russian regime.
00:13:25.000 Larry Kudlow has some thoughts on this.
00:13:27.000 Play cut 11.
00:13:29.000 The Saki thing is one of the five dumbest things I've heard.
00:13:32.000 I mean, there's a whole history here.
00:13:34.000 Every time oil prices go up, Putin strikes.
00:13:37.000 When oil prices are low, Putin is neutralized.
00:13:41.000 This is so important.
00:13:42.000 We should be opening the spigots completely to get oil up to 13 and 14 million barrels a day.
00:13:50.000 That would take Putin's profits away, and that'll slow him down, whatever it is he thinks he's doing in the Ukraine or elsewhere.
00:14:00.000 But they're not doing that because they are captured by ideology.
00:14:05.000 They want zero net carbon emissions.
00:14:08.000 If you have zero net carbon emissions and then you have a nuclear holocaust, which is more important?
00:14:14.000 And if you think I'm kidding, I don't know if this article is satire or not, but there is an article for the Huffington Post that is just so beyond belief where it says that nuclear war could potentially be good for climate change.
00:14:30.000 I actually haven't read the entire article.
00:14:32.000 I need to dive into it.
00:14:33.000 It's so beyond comprehension of what should be considered to be normal.
00:14:40.000 Look, did you get hit with a big tax spill you were not expecting with rates still being very low and home equity being high?
00:14:47.000 It's the perfect time to refinance and get some cash out of your home.
00:14:50.000 Look, you could go to one of these woke banks, Citibank, Chase, where they hate you, they hate the country, and they hate Christianity.
00:14:58.000 Or you could refinance right now all of your mortgage needs, my friends.
00:15:02.000 Guess what?
00:15:03.000 It's so easy to remember the website, andrewandtodd.com.
00:15:05.000 Just write it down, andrewandtodd.com.
00:15:07.000 They're with Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
00:15:09.000 They're people I know and trust and work with them, and you should too.
00:15:12.000 Just go to andrewandtodd.com.
00:15:14.000 It takes 30 seconds to answer a couple of questions.
00:15:16.000 This gives them the information they need to give you valuable information, often on the first call.
00:15:22.000 Andrew and Todd, they are not brokers.
00:15:24.000 They are bankers, which means they handle your loan from start to finish.
00:15:27.000 So you always have someone in your corner.
00:15:29.000 Take that first step towards getting that cash you need today.
00:15:32.000 AndrewandTodd.com.
00:15:34.000 That's AndrewandTodd.com or called 888, 888, 1172, 888, 888, 1172.
00:15:40.000 Do not use the banks that hate you.
00:15:43.000 Use Andrew and Todd.
00:15:44.000 They will do a great job for you, everybody.
00:15:46.000 AndrewandTodd.com.
00:15:47.000 That's andrewandodd.com.
00:15:52.000 I was so moved by this document that was composed by Senator Rick Scott from Florida.
00:15:59.000 I asked our team, I said, do whatever you possibly can to get him on the show.
00:16:04.000 And it's really good.
00:16:05.000 We went through it previously.
00:16:06.000 It's an 11-step plan to rescue America.
00:16:10.000 And some of it is stuff that you would expect out of kind of a Republican plan, but there's some really creative and good ideas and some strong philosophical basis for a lot of it.
00:16:20.000 And the architect of that and the man that wants to get the Senate majority back is Senator Rick Scott from Florida.
00:16:26.000 Senator, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:16:28.000 Charlie, it's great to be with you.
00:16:31.000 I'm really worried for our country.
00:16:32.000 The woke left is just, I mean, they've taken over this whole country.
00:16:35.000 I mean, they control the media.
00:16:36.000 They control our culture.
00:16:38.000 They control our government, the Democrat Party, the entire federal apparatus.
00:16:43.000 So we've got to, you know, you do it every day, but we got to fight back.
00:16:47.000 And I think to do it, you got to have a plan.
00:16:49.000 You got to say, hey, what am I going to do?
00:16:50.000 How do we, what are my marching orders?
00:16:52.000 How do I get there?
00:16:53.000 What's going to change this country?
00:16:54.000 And so that's why I put out a plan.
00:16:56.000 There will be things people agree with, some ideas that they might have better, but I'm going to bust my butt to make sure we do something to turn this country around.
00:17:04.000 Well, I love it.
00:17:05.000 So let's go through it piece by piece.
00:17:09.000 You know, we can lead whichever one you want, but the one that really struck me is the emphasis on education, on how you want to empower parents and really kind of build this parents' party.
00:17:17.000 Please, let's go from there.
00:17:20.000 So let's start with what.
00:17:22.000 So I grew up.
00:17:24.000 I grew up, I was born to a single mom.
00:17:26.000 We lived in public housing.
00:17:27.000 But here's what she told me.
00:17:29.000 She called me Ricky, which I didn't really like that much, but she said, she said, Ricky, you can be anything because you grew up in this country.
00:17:37.000 Now, the country I grew up in, when we went to school, when school started, we said the Pledge of Allegiance.
00:17:43.000 We saluted the flag, right?
00:17:45.000 We were taught that this was the greatest country ever created.
00:17:50.000 I think we got to get back to that.
00:17:52.000 And then we got to get back to our education system, be an education system that, you know, we're taught about reading, writing, arithmetic.
00:17:59.000 That's what I learned.
00:18:00.000 And the way to make sure that we have the right schools is for the parents to have the right to choose the school, not government, not some woke government-run school.
00:18:10.000 So, and I think it ought to be done at the state level.
00:18:13.000 It shouldn't be a federal education program.
00:18:16.000 I think we ought to shut down the federal department of education.
00:18:18.000 If we're going to send money, let's send money directly to the parents to spend money on where they want to send their kids to school.
00:18:23.000 But let's, you know, there's not like, you know, this is like we got free money up here.
00:18:29.000 This is money that, you know, somebody's taxed.
00:18:30.000 So I think the biggest thing is let's give back to parents.
00:18:34.000 Parents get to choose where their kids go to school.
00:18:37.000 And then let's make sure our schools are focused on how do we explain to people.
00:18:42.000 I mean, there's nothing like America.
00:18:44.000 I mean, the easiest thing is to move, right?
00:18:46.000 These things to move something.
00:18:48.000 There's no country to go to.
00:18:49.000 So if we don't fight for this country, where's it going?
00:18:52.000 And it starts with our kids.
00:18:53.000 I always, you know, Charlie, when I was governor, I always thought three things you have to do well.
00:18:57.000 Make sure people have a great opportunity to survive on their own.
00:19:01.000 That's what people want to do.
00:19:02.000 Number two, make sure their education is really good.
00:19:04.000 And the way to make sure that is parents choose.
00:19:06.000 And number three, make sure you keep people safe.
00:19:08.000 So, but education, I mean, that's the future of our kids and our grandkids.
00:19:12.000 That's exactly right.
00:19:13.000 And you say here that our kids will say the Pledge of Allegiance, salute the flag, learn that America is a great country and choose the school that fits best for them.
00:19:20.000 You wouldn't think that would be something you would run for office on, right?
00:19:23.000 It used to just kind of, you'd say that, you know, sunlight is good and oxygen is needed, but now this is somehow controversial.
00:19:29.000 The second piece that really struck me is that government, it's colorblind equality, which I'm a big fan of.
00:19:34.000 Government will never again ask American citizens to disclose their race, ethnicity, or skin color on any government form.
00:19:42.000 Now, hilariously, they'll try to call you a racist for this, Senator, but walk us through this.
00:19:47.000 Well, first off, the others, the left is going to call you racist every day.
00:19:50.000 That's what they do for a living.
00:19:52.000 Whatever you propose, it has to be racist if they disagree with you.
00:19:55.000 But let's stop and think about it.
00:19:57.000 When I was growing up, what my mom taught me is that you should be colorblind.
00:20:02.000 You should judge people by what they do, how they act, what they say, not about the color of their skin.
00:20:09.000 So government is trying to divide us.
00:20:12.000 The woke left is trying to divide us.
00:20:14.000 They're saying, oh, if you have this skin color, you're an oppressor.
00:20:17.000 If you have this skin color, you're oppressed.
00:20:19.000 So I don't believe government, government should never ask you on any government form, you know, what your race is, the color of your skin, your ethnicity, none of that.
00:20:29.000 We're all in the made in the image of God, and we all be judged by what we do and our character, not about the skin or our, you know, it doesn't make me who wants to divide people by the race?
00:20:42.000 Like, I've never met a parent to say, oh, Johnny, I'm sorry you don't have the same opportunity as everybody else.
00:20:48.000 No, parents bring their kids up and say, bust your butt.
00:20:52.000 You got every chance.
00:20:53.000 You know, do it.
00:20:54.000 It's like my mom said, Ricky, you got every chance.
00:20:57.000 It is up to you.
00:20:59.000 Get your butt in gear.
00:21:00.000 It doesn't matter where you started in life.
00:21:02.000 You can do anything you want to only because you live in the United States of America.
00:21:06.000 That's exactly right.
00:21:07.000 And what I love about this is it's not just a statement of fact here.
00:21:11.000 You're saying that you're not going to ask for it on government forms.
00:21:13.000 You're going to try to end this kind of woke CRT nonsense in a policy perspective, especially it's getting into our military.
00:21:21.000 And as we look at the threats happening right now, potential nuclear conflict, our military is too busy teaching this woke garbage to our armed service members.
00:21:29.000 It's ridiculous.
00:21:30.000 Next is safety and crime.
00:21:32.000 You say on your website, rescueamerica.com, the soft on crime days of coddling criminal behavior will end.
00:21:38.000 We will refund and respect police because they, not the criminals, are the good guys.
00:21:42.000 We will enforce our laws, all of them, and increase penalties for theft and violent crime.
00:21:47.000 This one, I would think, is rather logical.
00:21:49.000 I also think this is like a 90% issue.
00:21:51.000 You know, in reality, it ought to be 100% issue.
00:21:54.000 Like, who thinks that you should be able to go violate the law and nothing happen to you?
00:22:01.000 Like, why do we have the laws?
00:22:02.000 And who's it's not, it's not taking care.
00:22:05.000 It's not taking care of the people that can't afford all the, you know, the people that go afford all the, all the guards around them, they have to worry about it.
00:22:11.000 But, but think about it.
00:22:13.000 You want to live in a safe neighborhood.
00:22:14.000 So we, we would teach our kids.
00:22:16.000 So my mom taught me, she said, you've got to respect your law, the law enforcement.
00:22:21.000 And so, and law enforcement, they bust their butt trying to keep us safe.
00:22:25.000 Charlie, my eight years as governor, we lost 51 members of law enforcement in the line of duty.
00:22:30.000 These men and women are defending our safety and they've never met us.
00:22:36.000 They go to, they go into danger when we run away from it.
00:22:40.000 That's what they do.
00:22:40.000 All right.
00:22:41.000 So what we've got to do is say, we respect our police and the criminals, they're the bad guys.
00:22:48.000 We're not going to go out there and, oh, you know, oh, yeah, you can steal from 100 stores before you ever, you know, and, you know, it's not your fault.
00:22:57.000 I mean, that's how the left will act.
00:22:58.000 And these, and these district attorneys and state attorneys that don't want to prosecute, you should be fired.
00:23:03.000 I mean, they should absolutely be fired.
00:23:06.000 So let's, whatever our laws are, they're enforced against everybody.
00:23:10.000 And you violate a criminal law, you suffer the consequences.
00:23:13.000 You made that choice.
00:23:14.000 It's a conscious decision.
00:23:16.000 And next is immigration.
00:23:17.000 I know that you made a visit to Yuma recently.
00:23:20.000 I heard about that.
00:23:20.000 I think we had both the same, you call it a tour guide or whatever, Yuma County Supervisor.
00:23:24.000 And you say, we will secure our border, finish building the wall, and name it after President Donald Trump, which the left totally lost their mind.
00:23:30.000 I mean, you saw what's happening on the border.
00:23:32.000 It is a human rights catastrophe.
00:23:34.000 Talk to us about the need for Republicans to run on immigration.
00:23:38.000 You know, Charlie, you know, I always try to think: okay, so why is Biden doing what he's doing?
00:23:45.000 Think about how it's impacting a family.
00:23:47.000 So, just first off, I think the easiest thing to think about: 100,000 people, 100,000 people, about one in every 3,000 Americans died of a drug overdose last year.
00:23:58.000 Where did a lot of those drugs come from?
00:24:00.000 Communist China.
00:24:02.000 Who delivered them?
00:24:03.000 The cartel, the Mexican cartel.
00:24:06.000 So, step one is, let's finish the wall.
00:24:08.000 And the wall, everybody asks, it's just the wall.
00:24:10.000 No, it's partially it's going to be a wall.
00:24:13.000 Sometimes, some places it's going to be cameras.
00:24:15.000 Some places it's going to be, you have to have the lights to be able to see.
00:24:18.000 Some is a road.
00:24:18.000 You got to, it's sort of all of the above, right?
00:24:22.000 But I go to the border, it's open.
00:24:24.000 When I went to you, you probably saw the same thing when you went to Yuma.
00:24:29.000 So, what happens is you can fly into Mexico City, you can come across our border because what you do, take a flight to Mexico City.
00:24:35.000 I think the closest city to Yuma was Mexicali.
00:24:37.000 That's right.
00:24:38.000 Take a flight to Mexicali, take an Uber or a bus, come across, and Border Patrol says, where do you want to go?
00:24:43.000 I've talked to Border Patrol down there, and they said, This is the first president that tried nothing.
00:24:48.000 They said, Look, I can disagree with what each president did a little bit, but this president does nothing to secure the border.
00:24:53.000 Then he goes on his State of the Union address and says, We're going to secure the border.
00:24:56.000 No, you're not.
00:24:58.000 That's a complete lie.
00:24:59.000 Maybe you wanted like a picture of you saying something like that, but it's completely open.
00:25:03.000 And by the way, we want legal immigration.
00:25:06.000 I mean, I'm from an immigration state.
00:25:09.000 I mean, our state is built on immigration, right?
00:25:11.000 But legal immigration, right?
00:25:14.000 And by the way, don't you shouldn't Biden and administration care about these poor kids that are being trafficked back and forth across the border so people can come across?
00:25:24.000 I mean, wouldn't that disgust you if you saw that?
00:25:26.000 Of course, no, Biden won't go there.
00:25:29.000 But I think we ought to, let's create an immigration system that we know who's coming into our country.
00:25:34.000 That's number one.
00:25:35.000 Number two is let's have people come in that want to build our dream and with our constitution, believing in our Bill of Rights.
00:25:43.000 That's what we ought to be doing.
00:25:45.000 And they share Western values and they want to participate.
00:25:47.000 Like you said, the Cubans in Miami are some of the great examples of that in America.
00:25:52.000 I'm not going to skip over it.
00:25:53.000 The growth in the economy is really important.
00:25:55.000 You say we'll grow America's economy and starve Washington's economy.
00:25:58.000 I love it.
00:25:59.000 But the one that I want to focus on, which I've been trying to bang the drum on and people just forget about it, is about the debt.
00:26:05.000 This is generational theft, what we are doing to our young people.
00:26:09.000 Thank you for mentioning this.
00:26:10.000 $30 trillion of debt.
00:26:13.000 $30 trillion.
00:26:14.000 We run deficits every year.
00:26:16.000 I mean, Charlie, you can't do that.
00:26:19.000 All right.
00:26:20.000 All right.
00:26:20.000 Families can't do that.
00:26:21.000 States, well, states are not supposed to do it.
00:26:23.000 They do do it.
00:26:24.000 They just can't borrow money until they can.
00:26:26.000 But we've got to start living within our means.
00:26:28.000 How fair is it?
00:26:30.000 Charlie, how many people do you know that will say, I'm going to leave my debts for the next generation?
00:26:34.000 They say, oh, yeah, I'm going to run up a whole bunch of debt.
00:26:36.000 I'd like to take a couple of vacations to Cancun and stuff like that.
00:26:40.000 And Sonny, I'm going to have you pay for it.
00:26:42.000 No, that's exactly what, that's exactly what they're doing up here.
00:26:46.000 And they don't believe there's any accountability.
00:26:48.000 They just keep borrowing, borrowing, borrowing money.
00:26:50.000 $30 trillion.
00:26:51.000 Guess what happens when interest rates go up?
00:26:53.000 They inevitably go up.
00:26:55.000 How are we ever going to pay the interest expense on a federal debt?
00:26:58.000 I mean, and so then what are they going to, what are they going to cut?
00:27:01.000 They're going to have to raise taxes.
00:27:02.000 May it'll cause more inflation.
00:27:04.000 I mean, this is just a death spiral if we don't get control of this.
00:27:07.000 It is.
00:27:08.000 And so there's only a couple options available.
00:27:10.000 And unfortunately, it seems the regime wants to inflate our way out of it instead of trying to cut spending.
00:27:14.000 I'm not a fan of raising taxes, but just trying to debase the currency to make it completely irrelevant for some pre-existing obligation that we have.
00:27:22.000 And I'm glad that you frame it in moral terms because that's what it is.
00:27:25.000 It is a moral crisis.
00:27:27.000 And there's a great, I mean, Florida is the most free state in the country, largely thanks to your leadership.
00:27:32.000 And then, of course, then Governor DeSantis, two phenomenal governors, one after the other.
00:27:36.000 But in Florida, not locking down is the same sort of belief to balance the budget, meaning that we're not going to shut down schools just to try to make ourselves feel better.
00:27:45.000 It's the same sort of moral problem that we see.
00:27:48.000 Republicans need to be clear about what we're running on, not just against.
00:27:54.000 The three-week rule may be the best financial advice ever.
00:27:57.000 What's the three-week rule?
00:27:58.000 Wait three weeks to buy that new car, three weeks to refile your home mortgage, and three weeks to finance any major purchase.
00:28:04.000 Why three weeks?
00:28:05.000 Because that's how fast the average Scoremaster user takes to boost his or her credit score average of 61 points.
00:28:12.000 And listen, 61 points added to your credit score can save you tens of thousands of dollars on everything we finance.
00:28:18.000 Scoremaster technology was developed by credit data scientists to boost your credit score higher and faster than you thought possible.
00:28:25.000 Scoremaster is so easy, it takes about a minute to get everything started, and you don't have to wait months for the best credit score.
00:28:30.000 Look, a credit score is a game.
00:28:31.000 That's what it is.
00:28:33.000 And for example, I had a credit score that was okay, and I realized it was some confusion with some bill that I did pay and it wasn't communicated.
00:28:40.000 Boom, it gets cleared up like that.
00:28:42.000 So if you're trying to refinance a home or whatever, go to Scoremaster for free and see how many plus points you can add your credit score.
00:28:48.000 Go to scoremaster.com slash Charlie.
00:28:51.000 That's scoremaster.com slash Charlie.
00:28:53.000 Scoremaster.com slash Charlie.
00:28:58.000 Senator, I want to ask you about number seven, fair, fraud-free elections will protect the integrity of American democracy and stop left-wing efforts to rig elections.
00:29:06.000 I don't think this is that hard for you to talk about because Florida, despite its massive population, is actually able to get their votes in by 10.30 Eastern on election night.
00:29:13.000 Meanwhile, Georgia and Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, they're running around like chicken with their heads cut off.
00:29:18.000 Talk about the success of Florida and what we can learn about it, learn from it.
00:29:21.000 Well, there's two things you have to do.
00:29:22.000 You have to have election laws that stop the fraud.
00:29:25.000 So you have to have voter ID.
00:29:27.000 You can't, I mean, Democrats want to get rid of voter ID for one reason, because they want people that don't have a right to vote to vote.
00:29:34.000 You can't let people register on election day.
00:29:37.000 We don't in Florida.
00:29:37.000 And we, you know, we make it pretty easy to vote in Florida, but we try to stop all the fraud.
00:29:42.000 So you can vote early in Florida, you can vote absentee, and you can vote on election day.
00:29:46.000 But step one is you have to have an ID.
00:29:48.000 Step two is you can't register the same day because no one could check to see if that person had a right to vote.
00:29:54.000 Number three is you cannot allow ballot harvesting.
00:29:59.000 They had ballot harvesting when I got elected in 2010 and we got rid of it because people can go in and, oh, they can fill out somebody's ballot for them.
00:30:08.000 That's not right.
00:30:08.000 Your ballot has to come in by you or has to come in by the post office.
00:30:12.000 And it's got to be in on time.
00:30:14.000 I mean, you can't say, oh, gosh, we lost by 10,000 votes.
00:30:16.000 So let's hurry up and manufacture 11,000 votes.
00:30:20.000 And so we win that way.
00:30:22.000 So you have to do all those things.
00:30:23.000 Your signature has to match if you do an absentee ballot.
00:30:26.000 But then on top of that, we have to have good supervisor elections that will enforce the law.
00:30:31.000 And we have to hold them accountable.
00:30:33.000 So in Florida, you are supposed to make sure that you can, you know, both sides can watch any opening of ballots.
00:30:39.000 You got to just make sure that happens because you supervisor elections, and we elect them as an example in Florida at the county level.
00:30:46.000 We have got to go in there.
00:30:47.000 We got to have our volunteers.
00:30:49.000 We got to show up and make sure that they're doing the right thing.
00:30:52.000 So it's one, you've got to have the right laws.
00:30:54.000 And number two is you have to have the right supervisor elections.
00:30:57.000 Number three is you've got to have trust but verify as Roland Reagan would say.
00:31:00.000 You got to have people show up.
00:31:02.000 You have to have volunteers checking that.
00:31:04.000 As you, Charlie, I don't know if you remember, but in 2018, I won by, I think, 57,000 votes the night of election, and they illegally found a bunch of ballots afterwards.
00:31:12.000 And I went through two recounts.
00:31:13.000 If we had not been ready with volunteers and lawyers, we wouldn't have won.
00:31:18.000 So what we've got to do also is be ready.
00:31:21.000 Make sure you have lawyers hired.
00:31:23.000 Make sure you have volunteers trained to make sure that one, it's done right on election day.
00:31:28.000 But if you have a recount, you're ready for all the claims that the Democrats will have to try to change these elections.
00:31:34.000 So that's what we have to do state by state.
00:31:38.000 And it needs to be led and we need to run on it and we'll give our voters confidence that their vote matters and that there's not going to be these late night ballot dumps.
00:31:46.000 Florida is the best example of that.
00:31:47.000 So I'm going to just go to number nine, Senator, and compliment you on this because in a weird world, it takes courage to say this.
00:31:54.000 Men are men, women are women, and unborn babies are babies.
00:31:57.000 We believe in science.
00:31:59.000 I'm sure the backlash for this one has been bizarre and in some ways unexpected.
00:32:05.000 Talk about why Republicans need to run on material reality.
00:32:10.000 Yeah.
00:32:10.000 I mean, I love, I love, I've been blessed.
00:32:14.000 We have my wife and I have two daughters and we have seven, actually seven grandkids.
00:32:18.000 And, you know, you just love these little babies.
00:32:21.000 And so, you know, and they're, they're babies.
00:32:25.000 I mean, so an unborn child is still a human being.
00:32:29.000 And let's respect life.
00:32:32.000 And if you follow the science, it's a human being.
00:32:35.000 And so let's let's let's follow science and let's make sure that we do everything we can to make sure these children come into this world.
00:32:43.000 On top of that, you follow these swimmers that, you know, have the male swimmers have gotten in women's sports.
00:32:52.000 They're just killing women's sports.
00:32:53.000 That's not right.
00:32:54.000 You don't have a, you know, you shouldn't allow men to play in women's sports.
00:32:58.000 I mean, we, I mean, think about all the women that worked their butts off to try to make sure the women's sports were funded through our universities and things like that.
00:33:06.000 And now if men, you know, men decide, you know, they want to, you know, play in women's sports, they can.
00:33:13.000 We've got, we've got to not allow that to happen.
00:33:13.000 That's wrong.
00:33:16.000 So, but I think that, and I think the other thing that is so important to me is allow God into all aspects of our life.
00:33:23.000 I mean, there should be no, the left wants to silence this.
00:33:28.000 They don't want us to be able to talk about God anywhere.
