00:02:44.000 Okay, we are now getting to the Ukrainian-Russian situation and story.
00:02:48.000 I want to get through some polling regarding that and also kind of dive in to what is Joe Biden's approval rating?
00:02:55.000 Has he gotten a boost from that entire situation?
00:02:58.000 And so we're going to dive right into it with my friend Richard Barris, who I'm very impressed with, who does a wonderful job with polling.
00:03:04.000 And he's going to join us for a couple segments.
00:03:05.000 Richard, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:03:08.000 Hey, thanks for having me back, brother.
00:03:09.000 How you been?
00:03:10.000 Doing great.
00:03:11.000 Thank you.
00:03:11.000 And so let's start with the approval, not just approval rating of Biden.
00:03:14.000 We'll get to that in a second.
00:03:15.000 Talk to us about Ukrainian polling.
00:03:18.000 What is your data showed?
00:03:20.000 Right.
00:03:20.000 So last month we asked people several questions.
00:03:23.000 And then this month we changed it up a little bit to be more prescient, right?
00:03:27.000 Than what's going on.
00:03:28.000 And this month or last month, there was generally no public appetite for interfering in Ukraine or really ratcheting up what we do in Ukraine.
00:03:37.000 This month we got a little bit more specific and we said, you know, aside from all airstrikes and the usual talking points, do you support defending Ukraine against Russia if Ukraine starts to lose the war?
00:03:51.000 So if the tide turns, Russia looks like they're going to take Ukraine.
00:03:55.000 Do you support the U.S. military stopping the Russians in defense of Ukraine?
00:03:59.000 And the answer is no, and it's by a wide margin, about 33% of the public support it, which, interestingly enough, Charlie, was a weird coalition this month.
00:04:10.000 So, last month that was in the 20s.
00:04:13.000 So, there was a little increase, but it wasn't significant.
00:04:18.000 Where it's coming from, I would say, you know, I try to characterize this just as simply as I can.
00:04:23.000 Maybe like the Mark Levin conservative, you know, kind of on the right, or the Ben Shapiro conservative on the right.
00:04:31.000 And then Democrats that are kind of lockstep Democrats.
00:04:34.000 There are still this liberal base that doesn't want to interfere at all.
00:04:38.000 And for the most part, independents by a very large margin oppose anything in Ukraine whatsoever.
00:04:46.000 People are okay with giving them some money to help out with humanitarian aid.
00:04:52.000 But outside of that, I think that Afghanistan is still in everybody's mind, Charlie.
00:04:57.000 So, you know, you think about how we give people weapons to defend themselves.
00:05:01.000 And then a year later, you know, $80 billion worth is just there for the taking of our enemies.
00:05:06.000 And I think that is still so it's not stale yet in people's minds.
00:05:11.000 So they're hesitant to do it.
00:05:13.000 That's fascinating.
00:05:14.000 So in a general population, what percentage support Ukrainian military intervention?
00:05:19.000 You said 33%.
00:05:21.000 Yeah, about a third, just about a third, 33.4 or something like that.
00:05:26.000 So it's generally a third.
00:05:29.000 And when we look at independents, where, you know, this is why, I mean, I know partisan views change, but overall, independents have been pretty consistent on this.
00:05:38.000 Support for that is in the 20s.
00:05:40.000 And really, that's across the board.
00:05:42.000 Even we asked enforcing a no-fly zone.
00:05:45.000 You know, independents right now, they don't want to talk about this.
00:05:49.000 They want to talk about inflation.
00:05:50.000 They want to talk about not being able to fill up their gas tanks.
00:05:53.000 They want to talk about increase in housing prices.
00:05:55.000 They can't afford a mortgage now that it's one percentage point higher.
00:06:00.000 This is what people are concerned about.
00:06:01.000 And I think it's a big trap here for Republicans to jump on board because public opinion moves when it comes to war.
00:06:08.000 We beat those war drums, we beat them, and it becomes the patriotic thing to do.
00:06:12.000 It does not last.
00:06:14.000 And then when the dust settles, you know, voters are always asking, well, who prioritized what really mattered to us?
00:06:22.000 That's really interesting.
00:06:23.000 So you get like a short-term stimulus, almost like a sugar high.
00:06:26.000 Is that about right?
00:06:27.000 Like a polling sugar high.
00:06:29.000 Yeah, that's a good way to put it.
00:06:31.000 Right.
00:06:31.000 So talk more about that.
00:06:33.000 I haven't heard anyone mention that.
00:06:34.000 It's really interesting.
00:06:35.000 Yeah, that's a really great way to put it.
00:06:37.000 So as you can put it, it's basically a short-term bump.
00:06:40.000 It's wall-to-wall media coverage.
00:06:43.000 And I'm not trying to minimize it.
00:06:44.000 I'm just simply saying, you know, it doesn't matter what channel you turn on.
00:06:48.000 It's wall-to-wall coverage for Ukraine.
00:06:50.000 What can we do to help them?
00:06:52.000 Why aren't we doing any more?
00:06:53.000 And some, you know, Americans are generous and they don't like to see anything, you know, like this.
00:06:58.000 It doesn't really, it could be an ally.
00:07:00.000 It could not be an ally.
00:07:01.000 It could be, you know, the country in southern Africa like it was in the 90s, and they still didn't like it.
00:07:06.000 But in the end, when you have problems domestically at home, like we do, Americans want to prioritize those problems first.
00:07:15.000 So, you know, I always tell people, if you really want to be shrewd, you know, looking at, you know, politics, COVID lockdown was a perfect example.
00:07:22.000 Everybody supported the lockdowns at first, right?
00:07:25.000 You're irresponsible if you don't.
00:07:27.000 You're going to kill your grandmother, your Sunday school teacher.
00:07:30.000 And very small number of us said it doesn't matter what the polls say right now.
00:07:34.000 In a year from now, what are they going to say?
00:07:36.000 And they're going to look and they're going to look at their leaders and they're going to say, who had the foresight, who had the courage to say no when it mattered.
00:07:43.000 And that's what happened.
00:07:45.000 So here we are again.
00:07:47.000 The Rock War is another is another great example.
00:07:50.000 You know, people had immediately bought into this.
00:07:54.000 If we don't fight them over there, we'll have to fight them here.
00:07:57.000 You remember that?
00:07:58.000 And a lot of people who are so, Richard, this is what's so interesting.
00:08:01.000 Yeah, right.
00:08:02.000 So let's say your polling is, you know, 35 to 40% at most of the country supports this at most.
00:08:10.000 But 90% of the media and 95% of Congress seems to support further intervention.
00:08:16.000 Where is that disconnect from?
00:08:18.000 I think Republicans particularly are just afraid of the media and they're afraid of being many of them are afraid of being called the Putin wing of the party.
00:08:27.000 Right.
00:08:27.000 I mean, that's what we've been hearing for two, for two, for two weeks.
00:08:31.000 And, but also, I think that some of this is special interest, Charlie.
00:08:34.000 I mean, let's just be serious here.
00:08:36.000 Donald Trump wasn't impeached over a phone call.
00:08:39.000 You know, he meddled with their foreign aid.
00:08:41.000 The foreign aid is a scam.
00:08:43.000 And not to get to stick.
00:08:45.000 I like to stick to my numbers, but we have a president in office right now who is full blown in the scam.
00:08:51.000 We call it perfectly normal corruption.
00:08:53.000 They take your money, the taxpayer, they give it to their friends overseas.
00:08:57.000 Their friends domestically, Western elites go into those countries and take that money that we're sending over there, like to Hunter Biden.
00:09:05.000 It's a perfect example.
00:09:06.000 They're Ukrainians in barisma.
00:09:08.000 They're not paying Hunter Biden.
00:09:09.000 You're paying Hunter Biden.
00:09:11.000 And the minute you meddle with that, then the system will come after you.
00:09:16.000 Adam Schiff, he led the impeachment.
00:09:18.000 He led the impeachment against Donald Trump, Russia 2.0, whatever you want to call it.
00:09:23.000 Adam Schiff's been knee deep in Ukrainian arms runners for years.
00:09:27.000 I mean, so, you know, it's just this disconnect because the American people at home have no interest in Ukraine, but the people in Washington, D.C. absolutely do.
00:09:36.000 Yeah, there's a lot of vested interest in D.C. in kind of the Petri dish for bad ideas, which is where they all go in Ukraine.
00:09:45.000 It's kind of this short-term place for experimentation.
00:09:49.000 Okay, so in the closing of that topic, though, does it move when people actually learn what a no-fly zone is to even be less than that?
00:09:57.000 Because I saw some polls.
00:09:58.000 Did you see that similarity in that poll?
00:10:01.000 I do.
00:10:02.000 I do.
00:10:02.000 And this month, we even tried to be a little bit more generous to the pro-fly zone crowd.
00:10:09.000 When people understand that a no-fly zone, I think they hear it in the media and like, oh, yeah, great.
00:10:14.000 Of course.
00:10:14.000 I mean, we should be protecting the skies and protecting innocent people.
00:10:18.000 But when they hear that that means the minute, you know, we shoot down a Russian fighter, then Russia is going to declare war or it's going to escalate.
00:10:28.000 Then they realize that, oh, that's really question one, just phrased a different way.
00:10:34.000 And in fact, no, I don't support that.
00:10:36.000 So sorry, Ukraine.
00:10:38.000 Sorry, Vladimir Zelensky.
00:10:39.000 You're on your own because no, it's, it's, you know, go ahead, go ahead.
00:10:43.000 I just want to summarize all this.
00:10:44.000 I mean, if I'm looking, if I'm reading between your polling, which is terrific, by the way, big data polls, it seems like America First is alive and well, despite the best attempts of the media, is that right?
00:10:55.000 It's the dominant view in America right now by far, hands down.
00:11:01.000 Hands down.
00:11:02.000 It's the dominant view to put our citizens first and our country first.
00:11:05.000 And there is a war weariness still in the public.
00:11:07.000 Is that right?
00:11:08.000 There is.
00:11:10.000 Afghanistan is fresh in everyone's mind.
00:11:12.000 And, you know, there's this guy in Georgia who really put it clear.
00:11:16.000 You know, I mean, he thought he was getting stability.
00:11:19.000 He did not think he was getting a new war.
00:11:21.000 He voted for Joe Biden in 2020.
00:11:24.000 And that's not what he got.
00:11:26.000 Amazing.
00:11:29.000 How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
00:11:31.000 Producer Andrew's right here doing an Iron Man thanks to Relief Factor.
00:11:34.000 And truth is, I know there are millions of people.
00:11:36.000 In fact, some say over 100 million people struggle with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise or just getting older.
00:11:41.000 That can do it, getting older, which is why I'm so impressed with the people at relieffactor.com.
00:11:46.000 They are on a mission.
00:11:47.000 You rarely see this kind of focus and commitment.
00:11:49.000 They recently shared with me that they are doubling down and want to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year.
00:11:55.000 And I believe they'll do it.
00:11:56.000 So here's the deal.
00:11:57.000 If you're struggling with back pain, neck pain, shoulder, hip, or knee pain, even general muscle aches and pain, then I'm suggesting you order their three-week quick start, still discounted, only $19.95.
00:12:06.000 Go to relieffactor.com.
00:12:08.000 That's relieffactor.com.
00:12:09.000 Check it out right now, relieffactor.com.
00:12:11.000 You should order the three-week quick start to discount only $19.95 to see if it will work for you.
00:12:16.000 I think it possibly could.
00:12:17.000 Give your body what it needs to heal itself.
00:12:19.000 Go to relieffactor.com.
00:12:20.000 That's relieffactor.com.
00:12:22.000 Check it out right now.
00:12:25.000 How is Joe Biden doing, Richard?
00:12:27.000 What is your polling show?
00:12:29.000 You know, we came in a little bit after the State of the Union.
00:12:32.000 So it's possible if he did have like a larger bump after the State of the Union that we could have missed it.
00:12:38.000 I mean, some said, you know, have said that.
00:12:40.000 I don't know, Charlie.
00:12:41.000 I think that what I see in this, you know, he got back up to 40, up from 38 last month.
00:12:47.000 I think, you know, and there's the trend.
00:12:49.000 It's perfect.
00:12:50.000 I think that what maybe is going on in Ukraine, I don't even think it was the state of the union at best arrested the downward trend.
00:12:58.000 And next month, we'll definitely know more about whether or not that goes down again, because the fundamental issues that we always poll every month, foreign policy, the economy, COVID.
00:13:09.000 He ticked up a little bit with COVID.
00:13:11.000 That could have helped him a little bit as well, but it's still negative.
00:13:14.000 And overall, with inflation continuing to rise being the number one issue, hands down, I just don't know how he maintains that level, even if this was a minor bump.
00:13:24.000 The survey sampling error too is 2.1%.
00:13:27.000 So it's still within the sampling era, you know, from 38 to 40.
00:13:32.000 So I'm not sure that it's a really large, discernible bump.
00:13:36.000 Well, next month, we'll really see a little bit and we'll know.
00:13:39.000 But, you know, in those head-to-head matchups, Charlie, I think the big news in this poll, and people tell me to shut up when I say this, but it's just the truth.
00:13:49.000 Against Donald Trump, he doesn't stand a chance.
00:13:52.000 I polled all through 2020.
00:13:54.000 I never saw the numbers like this.
00:13:56.000 It was always going to be close.
00:13:57.000 Right now, Donald Trump would thrash Joe Biden.
00:14:00.000 He doesn't even look like an electable president.
00:14:03.000 So I just don't know where he goes if the economy continues to deteriorate.
00:14:09.000 You know, in the financial situation, it's not just the economy.
00:14:12.000 It's how people feel about the money they make.
00:14:15.000 It's not going to be worth as much as it is right now in 12 months.
00:14:18.000 And even today, it's not worth as much as it was 12 months ago.
00:14:22.000 This is what is concerning people the most.
00:14:24.000 So any kind of temporary bump he may have gotten, I don't know how long that's going to last, Charlie.
00:14:29.000 But I was more concerned about was that partisan affiliation swing.
00:14:34.000 That's historic.
00:14:35.000 That graph that I sent you in 12 months, Democrats, their affiliation edge has evaporated.
00:14:43.000 And that never happens that quick after a party wins the White House.
00:14:48.000 Four points.
00:14:48.000 What does the generic look like going into November?
00:14:51.000 Yeah.
00:14:52.000 So here, here's that partisan affiliation.
00:14:55.000 And when we started this public polling project about 12 months ago, Democrats about 7.7 affiliation edge.
00:15:02.000 This month it tilted slightly Republican, about two-tenths of a percentage point.
00:15:05.000 And you can see that that was going on for a while.
00:15:08.000 The generic ballot right now has been in our polling around Republican plus eight for a while.
00:15:14.000 This month they maintain that lead again.
00:15:16.000 So Democrats are having a hard time getting over 40% in our polling.
00:15:21.000 That doesn't factor in turnout, doesn't factor in credit selection.
00:15:24.000 I mean, it could be a bloodbath.
00:15:26.000 Now, COVID might be coming back.
00:15:28.000 That's a separate topic for a different time.
00:15:29.000 I want to ask you, though, do people blame Russia and the Russian war for inflation?
00:15:34.000 Are they connecting those dots?
00:15:35.000 Or what are they attributing to be for the higher prices they're paying?
00:15:35.000 Yeah.
00:15:39.000 Yeah, that's a great question.
00:15:40.000 And the answer is no.
00:15:42.000 People know that inflation started months and months and months ago with gas prices.
00:15:49.000 We started to ask them about this right after the new year.
00:15:53.000 And they blame Joe Biden.
00:15:54.000 It's that simple.
00:15:56.000 I don't know how they in the world they thought they were going to pull this off, even though gas prices are just really one component of the CPI.
00:16:04.000 For months, we've been asking people who chose cost of living and inflation as their number one issue.
00:16:09.000 What is it that made you say that?
00:16:12.000 Is it gas?
00:16:13.000 Is it housing and shelter, utilities, transportation?
00:16:16.000 We mimic the CPI because we want to know what people are feeling.
00:16:19.000 And it's been gas for months, Charlie, months before Ukraine.
00:16:23.000 Groceries, too, was also a very, very big deal.
00:16:26.000 Gas and groceries have kind of been battling it out.
00:16:29.000 The last month or so, gas has really started to pull away.
00:16:33.000 But the bottom line is people know this started well before this issue in Ukraine.
00:16:38.000 I've said for a while that there just needs to be kind of a public service campaign done on conservative groups, just fairly explaining how we created $6 trillion in the last year and a half and how inflation was created by the government.
00:16:50.000 Because I'm glad your polling is reflecting that because it's true, not just because it helps Republicans and conservatives, because it's true.
00:16:58.000 It's just not fair to say that things were getting remarkably more expensive well before the war in Ukraine, especially in cities like Phoenix, Atlanta, many cities in Texas and Florida.
00:17:09.000 Richard, right of time, thank you so much.
00:17:10.000 Website so people can follow you.
00:17:13.000 Sure.
00:17:13.000 Check me out at locals on the locals page where we do this, peoplespundant.locals.com, anywhere else you can find on there.
00:17:20.000 That's where to find, that's where to really follow all the polling we do, Charlie.
00:17:23.000 We're going to have you back on with great regularity.
00:17:25.000 And boy, November will be here before we know it, Richard.
00:17:28.000 Always is, my friend.
00:17:29.000 There's some good primaries coming up.
00:17:30.000 We'd love to steal you for some primary coverage, especially the Arizona one that's in August, I think.
00:17:34.000 So it's still a ways out.
00:17:35.000 Thanks so much.
00:17:36.000 Yeah, you got me.
00:17:37.000 They got me.
00:17:38.000 Thank you very much.
00:17:38.000 All the best, buddy.

00:17:51.000 Look, you could go to one of these woke banks, Citibank, Chase, where they hate you, they hate the country, and they hate Christianity.
00:17:59.000 Or you could refinance right now all of your mortgage needs.

00:18:49.000 That's AndrewandTodd.com.
00:18:54.000 Okay, so I was reading the New York Times this last weekend.
00:18:57.000 I'm sorry about that.
00:18:59.000 Well, actually, you guys should be saying sorry for me.
00:19:01.000 I have a tendency to read the New York Times on the weekend, just see what the regime is saying and thinking.
00:19:06.000 There's actually a pretty informative article here, though, pretty transparent.
00:19:09.000 It was published on Saturday, and I don't think it got the coverage that it deserved.
00:19:14.000 And so it's an article that basically went through and was a diagram.
00:19:19.000 The New York Times likes doing diagrams of where did all the money go in that spending bill.
00:19:25.000 This was Katie Edmondson who wrote this.
00:19:27.000 She actually deserves some credit here.
00:19:28.000 She did some nice research.
00:19:30.000 Where did all that money go where we spent on Ukraine?
00:19:35.000 So it was $14 billion, and it breaks it down piece by piece by piece.
00:19:41.000 Now, some of it is pretty conventional, and some of it you're probably not going to find too controversial.
00:19:45.000 For example, food and foreign aid, even though the foreign aid industrial complex is very corrupt, it rarely ever goes to the intended recipient.
00:19:54.000 Rarely does foreign aid actually help the people you think it's helping.
00:19:57.000 But let's pretend it does.
00:19:58.000 I'm not even going to get into that.
00:19:59.000 That's a separate topic for another time.
00:20:01.000 So it's broken into different categories.
00:20:03.000 So the first category, $13.6 billion in United States spending on Ukraine.
00:20:07.000 Now, remember, a lot of Republicans voted for this.
00:20:09.000 So if your Republican senator voted for this, buckle up.
00:20:12.000 Just wait till you hear where this money is going.
00:20:14.000 So of course, $13.6 billion in emergency spending last week related to Ukraine's fight against Russia invasion.
00:20:20.000 So here I am on an airplane flying back from San Marcos, and I read this.
00:20:24.000 I said, what do you mean related?
00:20:27.000 That doesn't sound right.
00:20:28.000 That sounds like Washington, D.C. manipulation speech.
00:20:32.000 Related?
00:20:33.000 Well, a lot of things could be related.
00:20:34.000 So then I really got my curious hat on.
00:20:37.000 So I dove into this article by the New York Times.
00:20:38.000 I said, where's the breakdown?
00:20:40.000 Hey, the New York Times did a much better breakdown than I would have ever thought they would.
00:20:45.000 So let me just go through some of the stuff that's quote-unquote non-controversial.
00:20:48.000 We'll start there.
00:20:49.000 $1.4 billion for humanitarian support and resettlement of Ukrainian refugees.
00:20:55.000 Okay, I don't know if they're coming to America or not, separate issue for a different time.
00:20:58.000 $1.1 billion to support Ukraine's government, which I find to be really perplexing considering how corrupt we know that.
00:21:06.000 How much of that $1.1 billion is going to go to support the Azov battalion, the known neo-Nazis in southeastern Ukraine?
00:21:15.000 $647 million to provide direct financial support and other economic assistance to Ukraine and other countries affected by the invasion.
00:21:23.000 By the way, just a couple of these line items, if you would have put them together, could easily secure our southern border.
00:21:30.000 But then there is one here that I just, I had to stop what I was reading.
00:21:33.000 I said, has anyone actually thought about auditing where this money went?
00:21:36.000 Has any Republican thought deeply about what this actually might mean?
00:21:41.000 And I had to reread it three or four times.
00:21:42.000 $120 million to counter disinformation and Russian propaganda and to support independent media and activists.
00:21:53.000 What?
00:21:54.000 $120 million to counter disinformation.
00:21:58.000 So what do they consider to be disinformation?
00:22:01.000 Well, this program they consider to be disinformation.
00:22:04.000 Producer Andrew, to his great credit, he is fighting fact checks on an almost daily basis on Facebook and YouTube.
00:22:12.000 Is that now going to be funded by the federal government?
00:22:15.000 $120 million to counter disinformation and Russian propaganda.
00:22:20.000 So it doesn't say that it's going to be countering Russian propaganda.
00:22:24.000 It's disinformation and Russian propaganda.
00:22:27.000 Even worse than this, the New York Times reports it's then going to support independent media and activists.
00:22:36.000 $120 million to activists?
00:22:41.000 What activists exactly are going to get that $120 million?
00:22:44.000 You see, this is one of the things that we tried to warn against a week and a half ago, where we walked through and said, I hope these Republican senators have thought this through.
00:22:51.000 Of course, they didn't.
00:22:53.000 So they go and they vote for this big bill.
00:22:55.000 And then all of a sudden, wait a second, is BLM going to get this money?
00:22:58.000 Probably not.
00:23:00.000 They can't even accept money from Amazon Prime because they're so corrupt under many investigations.
00:23:06.000 But what do they mean?
00:23:08.000 So the New York Times says $120 million to counter disinformation and Russian propaganda and to support independent media and activists.
00:23:16.000 Who is independent media and activists exactly?
00:23:19.000 Who are these people?
00:23:19.000 Where's that money going?
00:23:22.000 I don't expect an answer anytime soon.
00:23:23.000 Well, it gets worse.
00:23:25.000 $30 million to continue integrating Ukraine's electricity grid into Europe.
00:23:30.000 Goes on to say why we need that.
00:23:32.000 Yet no money to actually allow United States energy to be explored and sent to Europe to help them with their energy crisis.
00:23:42.000 It continues.
00:23:43.000 Yeah, producer Andrew says we're going to apply for a grant.
00:23:46.000 Actually, I don't want federal money grants, actually.
00:23:48.000 We denied, proudly denied taxpayer funding during COVID, and I was really proud of that at Turning Point USA.
00:23:54.000 We denied the PPP money.
00:23:57.000 We rejected it.
00:23:59.000 Okay, also $2.6 billion to provide food assistance and healthcare to Ukrainians and neighboring countries affected by the war.
00:24:06.000 No real problem with that.
00:24:07.000 But then here's an interesting new one because then they re-break it into another package.
00:24:12.000 It's like, wait a second, what?
00:24:13.000 So then they have another package that's $175.5 million.
00:24:16.000 I really mean this.
00:24:17.000 How many Republicans actually knowingly voted for this?
00:24:22.000 Meaning, how many Republicans thought deeply about what was in this and actually informed themselves?
00:24:27.000 I don't know.
00:24:27.000 That's just an open question.
00:24:29.000 So here's a new one.
00:24:31.000 Republicans who just voted for this bill and Democrats just gave the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to the New York Times, $43.6 million to investigate cyber threats, perform counterintelligence, and monitor cryptocurrency activities.
00:24:53.000 Did you know that was part of the Ukrainian relief bill?
00:24:56.000 That Republicans and people that supported it decided to give $43.6 million to the Federal Bureau of Investigation so they could monitor your cryptocurrency activities.
00:25:08.000 If you own cryptocurrencies, you very well might have your transactions now monitored by the FBI thanks to a Ukrainian assistance bill.
00:25:19.000 What does that have to do with one another?
00:25:20.000 It goes back to why I was so curious in the first place.
00:25:22.000 The New York Times says, related to Ukraine's fight, somehow cryptocurrencies, I guess their fear is that Russian oligarchs are going to be sending assets into America via cryptocurrency.
00:25:35.000 Oh, it gets better.
00:25:37.000 Another $25 million on top of the $120 million, this one just plainly, no Russian propaganda, $25 million to combat disinformation and support independent journalism.
00:25:57.000 So let's just add on to it.
00:25:58.000 Another $25 million to combat disinformation, which is our program, Tucker Carlson Show.
00:26:05.000 So they're going to have $25 million.
00:26:06.000 How are they going to combat disinformation?
00:26:08.000 Who's going to audit this, by the way?
00:26:11.000 $19 million for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
00:26:17.000 I don't know what that is.
00:26:19.000 $4 million for oversight of emergency funds and the operations of USAID.
00:26:24.000 $1.1 million for the National Security Division to support the Department of Justice Task Force on export control, sanctions, and cyber-related cases to the conflict.
00:26:35.000 So we have a total in this spending bill for left-wing activist groups, $145 million that have now been appropriated.
00:26:45.000 $145 million that have now been allocated towards fighting disinformation and Russian propaganda.
00:26:54.000 Of course, it all is how do you define disinformation?
00:26:57.000 They define us as disinformation.
00:26:58.000 For example, Twitter just suspended a Twitter account of a female swimmer who said biological male Leah Thomas stole her final spot.
00:27:08.000 Is that Russian disinformation?
00:27:10.000 Right now, the New York Times is working on a story about our program trying to say that we are parroting Kremlin talking points, even though we've been very clear that Vladimir Putin is a scumbag, satanically inspired, evil, and the invasion is totally on him.
00:27:25.000 Yet they say, oh, you're parroting Kremlin talking points.
00:27:28.000 Why?
00:27:28.000 Because we're asking questions.
00:27:30.000 Are we going to be part of this $145 million dragnet from the Ukrainian bill?
00:27:35.000 Well, we can thank Republicans for appropriating that.
00:27:37.000 Did they actually think about this?
00:27:39.000 Did they read the bill before they passed it?
00:27:41.000 Of course not.
00:27:42.000 Or maybe if they did, they're like, oh, yeah, whatever, $145 million to counter disinformation and Russian propaganda and to support independent media and activists.
00:27:51.000 What is this money going to go to the ACLU?
00:27:53.000 Going to go to the Sierra Club?
00:27:55.000 And that's just $13.6 billion of a $1.5 trillion spending bill of a country that's $30 trillion in debt.
00:28:06.000 Now The Economist, Financial Magazine, and newspaper has said the stock market lost over a trillion dollars so far this year.
00:28:12.000 You heard that right?
00:28:12.000 A trillion dollars.
00:28:13.000 Facebook has fallen out of the top 10 of tech stocks, and all the markets have the jitters.
00:28:18.000 Like you, people are really worried.
00:28:20.000 Except those with gold and silver as their backup plan.
00:28:23.000 They know that with precious metals in their IRA, they'll be fine.

00:28:59.000 What would you think about a company like American Express bashing capitalism?
00:29:04.000 Well, that's exactly what happened recently.
00:29:08.000 American Express of all credit cards, I mean, it's not like MasterCard.
00:29:12.000 American Express kind of services the top levels of the American business community.
00:29:18.000 They came out, American Express, and they started to parent, parrot, I should say, ideas and talking points that were so incredibly radical.
00:29:29.000 Well, a new organization is fighting back against them.
00:29:32.000 It's called Color Us United, a nonprofit that advocates for a racially blind America, a morally good cause, on Monday announced that the public relations effort to expose the credit card company's, quote, harmful woke policies, including hiring and promoting employees based on race and instituting critical race theory training that teaches employees that, quote, capitalism is racist.
00:29:54.000 The group is calling on American Express.
00:29:56.000 I'm reading from thefreebeacon.com, by the way.
00:29:58.000 The group is calling on American Express to rescind the, quote, un-American policies, such as giving bonuses to managers who hire minorities and plans to place television and radio advertisements along with a social media campaign.
00:30:12.000 Following the summer of riots in 2020, American Express created a, quote, anti-racism initiative and hired a consultant to conduct training sessions on privilege and race for their employees.
00:30:24.000 Manhattan Institute Senior Fellow and Color Us United board member Christopher Ruffo reported last year in the New York Post, among other exercises, employees were asked to determine their own privilege by analyzing factors such as race, sexual orientation, faith, and citizenship.
00:30:39.000 The corporation, which made $42.2 billion in profit last year, also invited a speaker to discuss inherent racism of a capitalist economy.
00:30:49.000 Huh.
00:30:50.000 American Express, who made $42.2 billion, is lecturing you about how capitalism is racist.
00:30:57.000 Several past and present employees of American Express last year told the company's top leadership that it discriminates against white employees during its hiring process.
00:31:05.000 One employee said, quote, it would be very rare for a white man to be tapped for a senior leadership position.
00:31:11.000 Quote, how can a company like American Express claim American part of its name if it consistently drives policies that are incredibly un-American, like promoting the idea that capitalism is racist and offering bonuses for people to hire by race?
00:31:24.000 Kenny Zhu, president of Color Us United, said, quote, our choice to brand the company on American Express is designed to wake up to be a wake-up call for the company.
00:31:33.000 Most Americans oppose politics and divisive worldviews in the workplace.
00:31:36.000 If you guys use American Express, you need to cancel it immediately.
00:31:41.000 You should not have American Express, not after this.
00:31:43.000 No individual should be judged on the color of their skin or their group status, Watson told of Free Beacon.
00:31:48.000 Not only does this create a toxic work environment, but also rejects everything America stands upon.
00:31:55.000 Good for Color Us United for pushing back against this totalitarianism and the anti-American inclinations of American Express.
00:32:05.000 Okay, I want to get to another piece of sound here.
00:32:09.000 It's actually kind of very similar to this.
00:32:11.000 Kind of what is capitalism?
00:32:13.000 What is markets?
00:32:14.000 Look, markets have problems, obviously.
00:32:16.000 They have externalities.
00:32:16.000 They have issues.
00:32:18.000 But free markets and more importantly, private property and the ability to trade and the liberty to do so is the best way to organize society.
00:32:26.000 Well, AOC has something to say about that.
00:32:28.000 And she kind of whispers to her followers on an Instagram video.
00:32:32.000 She says most people don't know what capitalism is.
00:32:34.000 Play cut 15.
00:33:05.000 Okay, so I think she's losing it.
00:33:06.000 So keep her in your prayers.
00:33:08.000 She's slipping very quickly.
00:33:10.000 She has said she's going through some mental health issues.
00:33:12.000 So I pray for her to be able to get her mind back because that was just a weird video.
00:33:17.000 And yes, she doesn't know what capitalism is, obviously.
00:33:20.000 Would love the opportunity to have a discussion with AOC about anything meaningful.
00:33:23.000 It'd be a dream of mine one day to be able to do that, to be able to have a discussion about what markets actually are and what they have done for people and how she is recording live on an iPhone on Instagram, who saying that people don't know what capitalism is.
00:33:38.000 It's just, it's just really, it's deliciously ironic.
00:33:44.000 Everyone benefits from markets in one way or the other.
00:33:46.000 There are externalities.
00:33:47.000 Markets are only as good as the people who participate them.
00:33:50.000 The rule of law is instrumental for markets.
00:33:52.000 Markets have problems.
00:33:53.000 Of course they do.
00:33:54.000 But it still remains the best way to organize society, to lift people out of poverty, to empower the individual so that all people can flourish to new heights and to be able to succeed.
00:34:08.000 AOC's struggling.
00:34:09.000 I wish her well.
00:34:13.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:14.000 Email us your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:17.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
