00:01:16.000 Did I say that okay?

00:01:17.000 I sure hope I did.

00:01:18.000 New book, Woke Army, the Red-Green Alliance that is destroying America's Freedom. 1.00

00:01:25.000 Asra, welcome to the program.

00:01:26.000 Oh my gosh, Charlie, thank you so much.

00:01:28.000 I feel like I could talk to you for hours.

00:01:30.000 We've got so much, so much common ground.

00:01:32.000 Thank you.

00:01:33.000 I agree.

00:01:34.000 And I want to talk to you about the war on merit, but first, tell us about your book.

00:01:38.000 And I have a very specific question that maybe you can clarify for me about one of the arguments in your book.

00:01:44.000 Oh, absolutely.

00:01:45.000 So this book, Woke Army, it's a labor of love.

00:01:49.000 It was actually released on Valentine's Day.

00:01:52.000 And I say that it's like a love letter to all the enemies out there who have tried to shut me up and you also, Charlie.

00:01:59.000 Some of your friends at Young Turks are featured in this book.

00:02:02.000 Yeah, yep, I know.

00:02:04.000 That's why I said we could talk for hours.

00:02:06.000 So Charlie, you know, the thing is, I'm a Muslim.

00:02:09.000 I'm an immigrant from India and I came to this country at the age of four.

00:02:13.000 I knew not a word of English and this country gave me freedoms that no Muslim country could have ever afforded me. 1.00

00:02:19.000 I grew up in the heart of America in West Virginia and I love this country.

00:02:25.000 This country allowed me to go from being that little girl to a Wall Street Journal reporter at the age of 23.

00:02:31.000 But, you know, like a lot of people, 9-11 was an awakening and I emerged out of the tragedy of the murder of a dear friend of mine, Danny Pearl, into a Muslim reformer.

00:02:45.000 I started challenging Islamic extremism and that put me in the crosshairs of this just diabolical campaign to shut people up. 1.00

00:02:56.000 What I've learned now is that these Muslim establishment people who were supported by Senk at Young Turks, they have come together in this alliance, this unholy alliance with the leftists. 1.00

00:03:13.000 And Sank is a perfect example because here he is, creates this organization called Justice Democrats, you know, and it's pushing socialism and he's running cover for the Islamists or those establishment Muslims that want, you know, theocracy as a part of governance. 0.95

00:03:32.000 And how does this all matter to America?

00:03:35.000 I'm going to try to unpack that for you and all your listeners now.

00:03:39.000 That's a terrific setup.

00:03:40.000 So just one question there, then we can get into the war on merit, which I think is really important.

00:03:45.000 But something that perplexes me and confuses me is that devout religious Muslims and devout social justice warrior wokies, they seem so ideologically and philosophically incompatible. 1.00

00:03:59.000 Muslims believe in God.

00:04:00.000 They believe you should submit to God.

00:04:02.000 They tend to be anti-abortion.

00:04:04.000 They tend to be against homosexuality.

00:04:06.000 And the woke don't believe in God.

00:04:09.000 They believe in kind of creating your own truth.

00:04:12.000 They tend to be okay and enthusiastic about abortion, very in favor of the trans thing. 0.97

00:04:17.000 So how is that these two groups that have almost nothing in common have this marriage and this alliance?

00:04:24.000 Yeah, it's politics, Charlie.

00:04:26.000 You know, you know, politics is about power and control over people.

00:04:31.000 And what happened is that the establishment Muslims were very much aligned, some of them for the socially conservative reasons with the Republicans for many years, but in fact, you know, voting for President Bush, second Bush.

00:04:47.000 And then President Obama came in.

00:04:50.000 And with President Obama's turn and apologetics for establishment Muslims like the Muslim Brotherhood in countries like Egypt, they ended up, you know, attaching to the Democratic Party.

00:05:04.000 And the compromise that they've made on these socially, you know, abhorrent issues to them.

00:05:12.000 These are folks who are even, you know, for all that the left talks about conservatives, these are Muslims who actually are not only against homosexuality,

00:05:26.000 but agree with the criminalization of it and even the murder of people who are gay, which is nothing that any political conservative in America would ever agree with doing in that you cannot actually murder somebody for this moral issue that you might have a difference about.

00:05:50.000 There is so much difference on issues of women's rights, even.

00:05:55.000 You know, the far left, of course, and the Democrats always talk about our body, our choice.

00:06:01.000 But my activism as a Muslim woman began because I just walked up to the front door of my mosque in Morgantown, West Virginia, and wanted to step through the front door.

00:06:11.000 And a man stood in front of me and said, no, sister, you have to take the back door.

00:06:15.000 So how is it that these two come together?

00:06:17.000 It's because they ended up finding, you know, a Trojan horse with the Democratic Party that could push their political agenda.

00:06:26.000 And that's how we now have folks like Ilhan Omar and Rashid the Talib.

00:06:31.000 That's a very helpful explanation.

00:06:33.000 It still confuses me because they just seem so incompatible.

00:06:38.000 Here you have the Democrat Party saying that men can give birth and that there's no such thing as male and female roles.

00:06:46.000 And, you know, religious Muslims definitely don't believe that.

00:06:50.000 Okay, so I want to get into the war on merit.

00:06:52.000 To increase equity, school districts are now eliminating honor classes.

00:06:56.000 Tell us about it.

00:06:58.000 Oh, yeah.

00:06:59.000 This is, you know, so for 20 years, I have been fighting the extremists in my Muslim community.

00:07:07.000 I call them Islamists, you know, folks who want political governance through with religion. 0.95

00:07:12.000 Well, in the summer of 2020, like a lot of people, I started observing these really crazy things happening in my school district here, where my son was attending Fairfax County Public Schools outside of DC.

00:07:24.000 What they were doing is deciding that there wasn't enough of an achievement by Black and Hispanic students.

00:07:32.000 And so my son's high school happens to be the number one high school in America, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

00:07:40.000 And they changed admissions so that there was no more of a merit race blind test, but a popularity contest really for which they rigged the numbers.

00:07:52.000 That was the warning sign for all of America that this sort of new phenomena that I call the woke army, these folks that call themselves equity warriors, they had merit as one of the areas that they wanted to take down in America.

00:08:14.000 So, what we see now, fast forward three years, is exactly what you're talking about.

00:08:19.000 I heard your tweet went viral this weekend about this war on merit.

00:08:26.000 This is the actual plan, Charlie, from Culver City Unified School District, right outside LA.

00:08:35.000 This was from 2020.

00:08:36.000 It was called What?

00:08:38.000 Equity, Social Justice, and Inclusion.

00:08:41.000 And why does the woke army work together on something like this? 0.63

00:08:46.000 Because in these pages, Charlie, what they do is they have no mention of merit.

00:08:52.000 Merit is erased.

00:08:54.000 What they replace the honors classes with in this document is now something that they're calling ethnic studies.

00:09:03.000 And why does the establishment Muslims want ethnic studies? 0.98

00:09:08.000 Because in the ethnic studies programs, that's where they then bring in their anti-Israel, you know, yeah, anti-Semitic bias.

00:09:18.000 And that's what's happening.

00:09:20.000 This little war plan is what's now in place.

00:09:25.000 That's what ended up becoming front page news in the Wall Street Journal last week about the elimination of honors.

00:09:32.000 And, you know, why do they want, why does the woke army want to get rid of the merit admissions, the honors classes?

00:09:42.000 Because they want to dumb kids down so that they can become woke baby. 0.98

00:09:49.000 You know, you dumb the kid down. 0.65

00:09:52.000 You don't give them algebra in eighth grade.

00:09:55.000 You don't give them the classical books in 10th, 11th grade, and they're ripe for stuff like this.

00:10:03.000 That indoctrination.

00:10:04.000 Everyone, check out the book.

00:10:05.000 It's terrific.

00:10:07.000 Woke Army is what it's called.

00:10:09.000 And it's about this red-green axis that has been formed.

00:10:14.000 It's very, very interesting.

00:10:18.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:10:19.000 Why do I tell you about Balance of Nature every single day?

00:10:21.000 It's really quite simple.

00:10:22.000 Balance in nature is real food.

00:10:24.000 It's real science and it's real nutrition.

00:10:27.000 I take it every day.

00:10:28.000 31 whole fruits and veggies in a capsule.

00:10:28.000 It's so easy.

00:10:30.000 I know a lot of people who take supplements and formulated nutrition packs, but balance in nature goes right to the source.

00:10:36.000 Real fruits and veggies, all that nutrition captured with their advanced vacuum-cold process, packed in a capsule and sent to your doorstep.

00:10:43.000 I give my body what it needs because feeling great is important to me.

00:10:46.000 Getting good daily nutrition is the foundation of all aspects of good health.

00:10:50.000 And that is why you hear me talking about balance of nature on my show.

00:11:16.000 Discount code Charlie.

00:11:20.000 It's an infinitely interesting topic to me.

00:11:23.000 The book is called Woke Army, The Red-Green Alliance that is Destroying America's Freedom by Asra Nomani.

00:11:31.000 So Asra, it's interesting.

00:11:33.000 I feel as if the conservative movement has not talked enough about the radical Islamic influence in domestic politics.

00:11:44.000 It used to be a very common topic and theme at retreats and at events and on television and radio.

00:11:53.000 Not so much anymore.

00:11:55.000 And I think there's a lot of reasons for that.

00:11:57.000 But you're arguing that the influence is actually greater than ever before, especially domestically.

00:12:03.000 And so is, let me ask you a question from Elon Omar to Rashida Talib to many other radical left-wing activists that are also radical, you know, radical Muslims.

00:12:16.000 And maybe they're not radical Muslims.

00:12:18.000 You can correct me if not.

00:12:19.000 But is there a foreign influence here?

00:12:20.000 Is there money and training and resources coming from abroad to influence American domestic politics?

00:12:26.000 Oh my gosh, yes, Charlie.

00:12:27.000 And, you know, this book, Woke Army, was a completely different book in the summer of 2020.

00:12:34.000 And then critical race theory emerged.

00:12:36.000 And I called James Lindsay, you know, who many of people.

00:12:39.000 I adore him.

00:12:40.000 He's fabulous.

00:12:41.000 So James is just wonderful, got on the phone with me.

00:12:44.000 And in three hours, I got my tutorial on critical race theory.

00:12:48.000 I got the book, you know, and I poured through it.

00:12:51.000 And being a journalist, I then looked at how this trickles down and how it becomes things like woke baby, right?

00:12:58.000 I wanted to see it in the trenches.

00:13:02.000 And then I saw it in the trenches, right, Charlie, with the war on merit.

00:13:07.000 What I didn't fully understand, but now I completely understand and rewrote the book then over that summer is I understood them.

00:13:16.000 What the Islamists did, Charlie, is they saw a great opportunity with this ideology of critical race theory to create a new shield for themselves. 0.94

00:13:28.000 They racialized Muslims. 0.75

00:13:30.000 So we became a racial class.

00:13:33.000 And over these last years, you've, I'm sure, heard and been accused of being Islamophobic, right?

00:13:40.000 Of course.

00:13:41.000 As I have been, a Muslim reformer and a feminist.

00:13:46.000 I've been called an Islamophobe.

00:13:48.000 It has become one of their methods of character assassination in order to get us to shift the conversation to what?

00:13:57.000 White supremacy.

00:14:00.000 And thus we stop our conversations about the real phenomena of Muslim supremacy, right? 0.93

00:14:07.000 It's not terminating cliché, but okay, Muslim supremacy. 0.61

00:14:10.000 You're right.

00:14:11.000 Tell us about that.

00:14:11.000 You're not supposed to say that.

00:14:13.000 Yes, because I live it.

00:14:16.000 I see it all the time when I go to the mosque.

00:14:19.000 And I mean, it is not only male supremacy because I'm put as a woman into the back halls, something that's not even allowed on racial lines anymore, fortunately, America.

00:14:30.000 But in my mosque, I got to go to the back door, go sit.

00:14:33.000 They say, they say, Charlie, oh, go to the balcony because you're closer to heaven.

00:14:38.000 I'm like, well, you want to get closer to heaven.

00:14:40.000 Why don't you guys go there and give us the main hall?

00:14:43.000 But no, they don't.

00:14:45.000 And what has happened then, you know, to your point is the conversation and the Democrats have led on this is eliminate any conversation on Muslim supremacy, make everybody focus on white supremacy.

00:14:59.000 And the Muslims in this new hierarchy of human value get new standing, including the extremists. 1.00

00:15:07.000 Because what is Ilhan Omer's strategy, right, Charlie?

00:15:10.000 When she was so anti-Semitic, she just said, oh, you're being Islamophobic.

00:15:15.000 And then remember AOC the other day said, how dare you go after a woman of color?

00:15:20.000 Well, they've now whitewashed Jewish people, right? 1.00

00:15:24.000 They have changed the hierarchy of human value using this failed ideology of critical race theory to do it.

00:15:32.000 So really quick, only one minute remaining.

00:15:34.000 Do you think there might be a fault line between the rank and file Muslims, people that really believe their faith, but they're not radicals.

00:15:41.000 They're not being paid by a foreign government.

00:15:43.000 And they say, wait a second, this is totally inconsistent with my beliefs.

00:15:46.000 Oh, yeah, it's happening.

00:15:48.000 I don't know if you've watched some of the parents that have received.

00:15:51.000 Yes, in Michigan in particular.

00:15:53.000 In Michigan, we have parents that are leading in Ilhan Omer's own school district because after woke, baby, you end up getting books like what?

00:16:03.000 You know this.

00:16:04.000 You talk a lot about it, right?

00:16:06.000 The pronoun book. 0.91

00:16:07.000 And gay BCs, right? 0.93

00:16:07.000 Yes. 0.93

00:16:11.000 So no matter how even evolved you are, we know that there's age-appropriate material and age-inappropriate material.

00:16:21.000 And so the fault lines are happening.

00:16:23.000 Great way to put it, Charlie, but they are happening.

00:16:26.000 And people are rethinking in the trenches, just like you said, just regular Muslims, the strange alliance that they've had. 0.97

00:16:34.000 And I count myself among them because I was a hard-caring Democrat for most of my life and have seen that they have betrayed my own personal value.

00:16:45.000 Yeah, look, thank you for joining us.

00:16:48.000 I hope there is a reformation within Islam.

00:16:51.000 And I'm glad you're helping lead that.

00:16:52.000 God bless you.

00:16:53.000 Thank you so much.

00:16:57.000 Rents are soaring at unprecedented highs.

00:17:00.000 If you're renting or have a friend or family member that is, now is a great time to make the move to homeownership.

00:17:06.000 Look, you got to own renting, that's great reset stuff.

00:17:09.000 Andrew Del Rey and Todd of Akian at Sierra Pacific Mortgage have helped so many people make that leap from renting to owning with lots of programs that offer first-time buyers assistance with little to no down payment needed.

00:17:22.000 I encourage you right now to visit my buddies, their website.

00:17:25.000 They're great guys.

00:17:26.000 They're Christians.

00:17:27.000 They're conservatives.

00:17:28.000 They love the Lord.

00:17:31.000 The thing I love about these guys is it's not about the transaction.

00:17:33.000 They're helping you create a plan to help you reach your goals.

00:17:37.000 Give them a call or go to their website, andrewandTodd.com.

00:17:40.000 With today's still historically low interest rates, it's easier than you think to become a homeowner.

00:17:44.000 I've relied on them and producer Andrew has as well.

00:17:47.000 I highly recommend you take action now.

00:17:49.000 And if you knew someone paying rent, tell them about Andrew and Todd.

00:17:52.000 Go to andrewandodd.com and tell them the Charlie Kirk Show sent you.

00:18:00.000 As our own border is invaded, we seem really worried about the invasion of other countries.

00:18:04.000 Doesn't make sense to me.

00:18:06.000 In just a second, we're going to dive into Todd Bensman's new book, How Joe Biden Unleashed the Greatest Border Crisis in UN History in U.S. history, while we're caring about the foreign borders.

00:18:16.000 And so over the weekend, I had a Twitter dispute with Adam Kinzinger.

00:18:22.000 It's strange, to be honest.

00:18:26.000 So I said this.

00:18:26.000 I said, to everyone demanding that Ukrainian soldiers and civilians die for, quote, as long as it takes to stop Putin, do you realize Russia is mobilizing 300,000 to half a million troops as we speak?

00:18:38.000 Are you really prepared for the loss of life?

00:18:40.000 Are you not interested in peace?

00:18:41.000 Adam Kinzinger said, the weakness of scared, trembling boys who've never done a thing in their life, but live in comfort and complain that they aren't special enough, like Charlie Kirk, is the antithesis of American strength.

00:18:55.000 Ukraine will win. 0.98

00:18:56.000 I'll save this tweet and hang it around you later.

00:19:01.000 Yeah, so I'm really confused.

00:19:02.000 Okay, yeah, calling me a scared and trembling boy is rather petulant and irrelevant to whether or not you're prepared to have a bunch of Ukrainians die in a looming bloodbath. 1.00

00:19:16.000 So then I say the following: the man too cowardly to run for re-election talks tough on Twitter.

00:19:20.000 When it's other people's children and family members who will die, can we count on you, Adam, to lead a platoon of Ukrainians on the front lines in time for spring fighting season?

00:19:27.000 Then Adam King Kinzinger responded again.

00:19:31.000 He said, nah, I've already done my time in war.

00:19:33.000 The Air Force doesn't have platoons genius.

00:19:35.000 I was elected six times.

00:19:37.000 Again, that's besides the point.

00:19:39.000 The point is, will you go lead a group of people, Mr. Kinzinger?

00:19:43.000 So, no, the answer, of course not.

00:19:45.000 Adam Kinzinger will armchair quarterback this from America while the world becomes destabilized because he has a war fetish while ignoring our own border.

00:19:57.000 Not even a concern for our own border.

00:20:00.000 And joining us now is Todd Bensman, author of a new book, Overrun, How the Joe Biden Unleashed the Greatest Border Crisis in U.S. History.

00:20:06.000 Todd, welcome to the program.

00:20:08.000 Thanks for having me.

00:20:09.000 I do appreciate it.

00:20:10.000 So, Todd, how about this?

00:20:12.000 You've done 500 interviews that you nearly risked your life multiple times to kind of learn what was happening.

00:20:18.000 Tell us about that.

00:20:18.000 And then I have a specific follow-up question.

00:20:20.000 So we'll start there.

00:20:22.000 Well, there seems to be still contention about why we're having the greatest numbers, volume-wise, ever cross that border in the history of record keeping for the country.

00:20:35.000 But when you ask the immigrants why they're coming, it's pretty simple. 1.00

00:20:40.000 They say they're coming because the border's open and all their friends, relatives, and neighbors got in.

00:20:46.000 So we're going to sell everything and go to pay for our smuggling fees, drop 10,000 or whatever it costs, because we want to know in advance before we gamble that money that we're going to, first of all, be able to enter and second of all, be able to stay.

00:21:04.000 As long as they see that they can do that, they're coming.

00:21:07.000 So it started with a snowball that's turned into an avalanche.

00:21:11.000 And you learn that from interviewing the immigrants who are at the heart of this thing, the heart and soul of this whole crisis.

00:21:18.000 How many, and I, this is just semantics.

00:21:21.000 I don't consider them immigrants. 1.00

00:21:22.000 I think they're criminals, but, and I think it gives them too much credit.

00:21:25.000 So how many foreigners are illegally breaking into our country every day?

00:21:30.000 Well, we had, we heard Jay Johnson, the former Secretary of State under Obama, one time say, man, if I woke up and there were a thousand a day crossing, I would have a really bad day.

00:21:42.000 This would be terrible.

00:21:44.000 And we've been at 7,000 and 8,000 a day for two years straight.

00:21:50.000 We're looking at 50,000 a week, 200,000 a month.

00:21:56.000 In December, we had 250,000.

00:21:59.000 It seems like every month is a brand new record-smashing month.

00:22:04.000 I mean, what's happening here is beyond the American experience, anything that we've ever seen, which is why I call it in the book, you know, the greatest mass migration in U.S. history.

00:22:14.000 That is what it is.

00:22:17.000 So, yeah, so let me ask you, the seven to eight thousand a day, and they're trying to, in essence, decriminalize it so that we have complete and total open borders.

00:22:30.000 When Mark Kelly ran for the U.S. Senate seat and was re-elected, he said that we're deploying a lot more resources to the border.

00:22:36.000 Do you have any evidence to support that?

00:22:39.000 Well, they're pulling resources to the border not to block, stop, and deter, which the law says the administration has to do.

00:22:47.000 The resources that are being surged to the border are to enable the most to come in in the smoothest possible way without building into some kind of an international media story like the Del Rio migrant camp or more recently, the El Paso situation where you had thousands of immigrants, illegal immigrants sleeping in the streets.

00:23:09.000 That's really what their goal is for what their idea is for border security.

00:23:15.000 Whereas the rest of like normal people know border security as stop them from coming, block them from coming, deport.

00:23:25.000 The administration has allowed a cobble.

00:23:28.000 I write about this extensively in the book, Chapter 4, called The New Theologians, which is to say that they've allowed this cobbl of really extreme fringe left liberal progressives to seize control of the portfolio, the immigration portfolio.

00:23:48.000 And their idea is that there shall be no immigration enforcement at the border.

00:23:54.000 It's immoral.

00:23:56.000 It's like Jim Crow laws of the 1950s or something to them.

00:24:00.000 And so they have systematically dismantled interior deportation and almost all of the enforcement at the southern border.

00:24:09.000 That's why we've had 5 million people cross through the southern border and millions of them are inside the country right now and millions more are coming.

00:24:21.000 Nothing is going to change here.

00:24:23.000 My book just freeze framed at like two years.

00:24:26.000 We have another two years of this coming.

00:24:28.000 We're probably going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 million and 8 million in the country by the end of the Biden administration.

00:24:37.000 And I'm going to say that that's a conservative number.

00:24:41.000 Yeah, it is 2.7 million we're on pace for just in this calendar year.

00:24:47.000 It'll be the third calendar year of that.

00:24:50.000 Third at 2.7 million.

00:24:54.000 How many are now in the interior of the country?

00:24:57.000 Well, it's a little bit hard to say.

00:24:59.000 We can guess.

00:25:00.000 I always play it on the conservative side.

00:25:02.000 So just keep that in mind.

00:25:04.000 But we know for sure that about 2.5 million were let in, were admitted by the administration under very sketchy legal basis.

00:25:17.000 And then the problem where we don't know the full number is the gotaways.

00:25:23.000 We know that there are at least 1.1, 1.2 million that got through undetected.

00:25:31.000 That is almost always a vast undercount.

00:25:34.000 It's probably much higher than that.

00:25:36.000 Part of the border crisis is, you know, there are give up traffic, people that just come over by the thousands and wait to be processed in.

00:25:45.000 They'll be on a bus in two days to Chicago or Indianapolis or wherever.

00:25:50.000 But then the other part are the ones that know they're probably not going to get in.

00:25:55.000 They're hiding something, criminal activity, criminal behavior, convictions, whatever, gang membership on a database.

00:26:02.000 And they're running through the undefended gaps that have been left behind by border patrol who have been forced to go into administrative processing for the give-ups.

00:26:16.000 So there are two components of this.

00:26:18.000 Together, it's all utter pandemonium and just this nonstop flow of just hundreds and hundreds of thousands and millions into the interior of the country.

00:26:29.000 And then you have Chicago, Denver, Washington, D.C., New York declaring emergencies and demanding federal bailouts.

00:26:39.000 And that list is going to get longer and longer.

00:26:43.000 I'm going to ask you after the break, just what you learned from talking to these criminals at the border and kind of why are they saying they're here?

00:26:53.000 How many of them are being brought by cartels, which the Biden regime, one of the less covered stories is how the Biden regime is very cozy with the cartels and they are just allowing the cartels to do whatever they want on the southern border.

00:27:07.000 It's one of the largest human trafficking enterprises ever.

00:27:11.000 In fact, in scale, you can make an argument.

00:27:14.000 It's very similar to the slave trade that we think actually we ended in the 1800s.

00:27:19.000 But in reality, this is pseudo-slavery.

00:27:22.000 And the left, of course, is perfectly fine with it.

00:27:25.000 They purchase people.

00:27:26.000 It's indentured servitude.

00:27:28.000 They have to repay the passage fees.

00:27:32.000 And we're told that it's compassionate when in reality, it is a modern day equivalent, in some ways more technologically sophisticated.

00:27:42.000 In other ways, just as morally cruel as the transatlantic slave trade that we saw in the 1600s and 1700s.

00:27:50.000 But the Democrats are fine with that, and they want to tell us we're a racist country.

00:27:56.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:27:58.000 When Roe versus Wade fell as the law of the land last year, all it did was increase what pro-abortion states are doing to entice and mislead women to abort their children.

00:28:07.000 States are now advertising to travel just to get an abortion.

00:28:11.000 It's become abortion trafficking.

00:28:13.000 So the need to provide the truth as girls and women are contemplating what to do about their pregnancy is greater now than ever before.

00:28:20.000 Ultrasounds save babies because ultrasounds give the truth at a time everyone else is saying it's not just a baby, it's just a clump of cells.

00:28:28.000 When you introduce a girl to her baby by providing an ultrasound, you are giving her the truth at the most important time of her life.

00:28:35.000 And more than 85% of the time, she will choose life.

00:28:38.000 You don't have to make a lot of noise to make a big difference for life.

00:28:41.000 Just give an ultrasound at preborn.org to be a hero for life.

00:28:44.000 That is preborn.org.

00:28:46.000 $140 gives five mothers a free ultrasound and saves babies.

00:28:49.000 $200 can save 10 babies.

00:28:51.000 Go to preborn.org.

00:28:52.000 I love this organization.

00:28:53.000 I'm a donor to it.

00:28:54.000 Check it out, preborn.org.

00:28:59.000 So, Todd, you spoke to 500 people on the border.

00:29:01.000 What did you learn?

00:29:03.000 At least.

00:29:04.000 Well, listen, for the most part, these are not asylum seekers.

00:29:08.000 These are not people who are fleeing political persecution.

00:29:12.000 I don't believe I've ever talked to one who actually made a claim to me while they're en route that they are fleeing some kind of political persecution or economic migrants.

00:29:23.000 And they say so loud and clear, constantly saying, yeah, I'm just coming for a better job and the border's open.

00:29:30.000 So I'm coming in for that.

00:29:32.000 But almost all of them will abuse our asylum system. 0.99

00:29:36.000 They'll make an asylum claim that lets them stay in the country pretty much forever. 0.99

00:29:43.000 And so I think that there's this narrative out there that you hear it all the time.

00:29:48.000 Well, my God, they're fleeing absolute certain death.

00:29:51.000 They are going to die if we send them back.

00:29:54.000 Some of them even call ice air repatriation flights death flights.

00:30:00.000 That is just simply not true.

00:30:03.000 These are mostly people, take the Haitians. 1.00

00:30:07.000 Haitians are not coming from Haiti.

00:30:09.000 These ones that have been pouring over our border have been living for years in Chile and Brazil with jobs, sanctuary, asylum, work authorization, everything. 0.76

00:30:22.000 But when they saw that the southern border was open, they were like, ah, I got an easy upgrade, lifestyle upgrade.

00:30:29.000 And they admit it.

00:30:30.000 Take the Venezuelans, so many Venezuelans coming over. 1.00

00:30:34.000 Very few of them are actually coming from Venezuela.

00:30:37.000 They've been living for five, six, seven years and longer in Colombia, Argentina, and 15 other South American countries safely, prosperously, all the rest of that.

00:30:49.000 But they can get into the United States.

00:30:51.000 So they're coming.

00:30:53.000 And they tell you this over and over again.

00:30:55.000 You'll never see it in the news reporting because for whatever reason, the reporters that go down there never ask those questions.

00:31:03.000 They just don't ask the question, why are you coming now?

00:31:08.000 And I think that's probably to clear that up is, I think, a public service.

00:31:15.000 I think the American people really need to know why the vast super majority of them are coming.

00:31:21.000 And they'll tell you when you ask them.

00:31:22.000 And the vast super majority basically are saying for more money.

00:31:27.000 Yeah, going for a job.

00:31:28.000 I was doing great in Colombia.

00:31:30.000 I love Chile, the nightlife, the beaches, but heck, all my friends are getting in over the border.

00:31:36.000 They're letting us in.

00:31:37.000 And it's true. 0.56

00:31:39.000 This is a live wire social media intelligence network.

00:31:44.000 They're sending selfies back.

00:31:47.000 When New York takes a bunch of immigrants from Texas or whatever, illegal immigrants from Texas, they're staying in four-star and five-star hotels at taxpayer expense. 1.00

00:31:59.000 They are sending those selfies home, and they're all coming to New York to get five-star hotel treatment.

00:32:05.000 Why wouldn't they?

00:32:08.000 Most of them are perfectly rational people.

00:32:12.000 They're willing to bend the rules of somebody else's country in order to upgrade their lifestyles.

00:32:20.000 They're breaking the law on the first step into the country. 0.98

00:32:24.000 True, but it's rational, when their decisions are just.

00:32:29.000 Well, I don't know.

00:32:30.000 I mean, I guess looting is not rational, right?

00:32:32.000 I mean, it's rational if you're okay with immoral activity.

00:32:36.000 That's where I'll disagree.

00:32:38.000 What I mean is that if you're contemplating a move from Chicago to New York for a job, you're going to take into account all these factors.

00:32:47.000 How much is it going to cost?

00:32:48.000 How much am I going to make?

00:32:50.000 What's the cost of living?

00:32:51.000 That sort of thing.

00:32:52.000 And that's all they're doing.

00:32:54.000 And we're letting them in.

00:32:56.000 So, you know, it's these are policy choices, is what I'm saying that's enticing this mass migration, not certain death, not absolute political persecution and gulags and jails and North Korea type treatment. 0.73

00:33:13.000 And that's what you learn when you actually sit down and talk to as many as I have.

00:33:18.000 Yeah, Biden and Majorkis and Harris have been inviting them repeatedly, and it's by design.

00:33:24.000 And then they run, they run.

00:33:27.000 Yeah, and then they run non-stop ads.

00:33:28.000 They raise hundreds of millions of dollars to lie to voters when any of these Democrats are up.

00:33:33.000 If you're a swing voter, you think I talked to a swing voter here in Arizona, they said, I voted for Mark Kelly because he was the best on the border.

00:33:39.000 Literally, that's what people believe.

00:33:42.000 So I hope your book is successful to tell the truth.

00:33:44.000 Todd Benceman, the name is called Overrun.

00:33:46.000 Thank you so much.

00:33:48.000 Thank you.

00:33:49.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:33:51.000 The border is the biggest issue.

00:33:53.000 But your Republicans, everybody, you can rest assured, they're really worried about Putin.

00:33:58.000 I'll be honest, I couldn't care less about Putin as long as our southern border is wide open.

00:34:02.000 Not saying it's unimportant, but it's very low on the importance list as long as our border is wide open.

00:34:10.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.

00:34:11.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:34:14.000 Thank you so much for listening.

00:34:15.000 God bless.
