00:01:48.000 I think that players pushing back against quote-unquote pride night is critical and we must understand that what you might think of, as pride night has changed in its meaning.

00:02:16.000 It can mean chemical castration of children that this idea of pride month has broadened from just like okay, I suppose tolerance of gay and lesbian people and the spectrum that moves from tolerance to acceptance to celebration, to participation I must give credit to Matt Walsh for that phenomenally brilliant kind of steps is.
00:02:41.000 Now that you must participate, you must wear the pride patch, and it kind of goes back, okay Connor, get the Kramer from Seinfeld, what do you?

00:02:55.000 It's one of those great um, great scenes in television history where Kramer, who's kind of an aloof character in Seinfeld, decides to do the aids walk but he doesn't want to put the button on or the ribbon.
00:03:10.000 He just doesn't want to wear the ribbon, and it kind of is the same sort of thing where he ends up getting kind of attacked by the mob, albeit kind of very similar kind of the pride month aids walk mob, where they say, you don't support gay people because you don't want to wear the ribbon.
00:03:27.000 And it's kind of this joke in the show that unfolds into obvious kind of tumultuous hilarity where Kramer's like, no no no, i'm with you, I just don't want to wear the ribbon, I just don't want to wear the ribbon.

00:03:40.000 You want to put the rib on, and it's like this back and forth, like you must participate, you must be part of this.
00:03:45.000 It's not enough that you tolerate us, it's not enough that you accept us, it's not enough that you celebrate us.

00:03:55.000 And just out of a general principle of it, I think it's great that the line is drawn, that major league baseball players who earn millions of dollars are willing to say, I'm not going to wear the patch.

00:04:11.000 I believe that marriage is one man and one woman.
00:04:14.000 I will tolerate things.

00:04:19.000 I will do so with compassion and truth and grace, but I'm not going to celebrate it.

00:04:25.000 And I certainly won't participate in it.
00:04:28.000 And we must understand that the previous conception of kind of what Pride Month was 15 years ago is completely different than what it is now, where it used to be like, okay, there's all these people that are afraid to express their sexual, you know, tendencies and that they feel as if they're constantly quote unquote in the closet.

00:04:50.000 Where does any person in America who is gay or lesbian not feel comfortable to come out as gay or lesbian?
00:04:57.000 Where does that place exist exactly?
00:05:00.000 In fact, and this is not my own, you know, wording of it, but Dave Rubin and many others have said it's actually much more difficult to come out as a conservative than it is as a gay person in America.
00:05:13.000 So the Tampa Bay players that are pushing back against it, God bless them, I totally support it.
00:05:18.000 And of course, the outrage from the media is they are homophobic.
00:05:20.000 No, no, no, hold on.
00:05:22.000 Again, there can be tolerance.
00:05:24.000 You could tolerate something having to wear a sticker on your jersey.
00:05:29.000 That's kind of, it's an interesting component of live and let live, isn't it?
00:05:32.000 So if it truly was live and let live, which we've gone through in great detail in recent weeks on how that is a false promise, a utopian dream, never was going to happen.
00:05:41.000 And we were naively put into this sort of paradigm.
00:05:45.000 But if it was truly live and let live, then wouldn't it say put the patch on if you want to put the patch on?
00:05:52.000 Like, okay, if you want to put the patch on, then great.
00:05:54.000 It could be optional, right?
00:05:55.000 No, but instead, it's that if you don't wear the patch, you can't even play the game.
00:06:01.000 That's mandatory participation in something you might not believe in, which, by the way, is one of the great examples to show that this is not the sort of freedom of choice political movement.

00:06:18.000 And remember, it's the same sort of virtue signaling that was demanded with the black squares.

00:12:30.000 Charlie, I thought, so this is based on the story of Marine General John R. Allen, who led U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan and then ran the Brookings Institution.
00:12:42.000 He has recently had his data seized by the FBI in what seems to be a soon-to-be indictment against him for illegally lobbying for Qatar and lobbying for their interests in Washington, D.C. Someone asked, they said, Charlie, I sent the story.
00:12:57.000 They said, Charlie, I thought you said these people were untouchable.
00:13:00.000 Well, there is a little bit of an asterisk to that, right?
00:13:02.000 So they're untouchable as long as they are useful to the regime.
00:13:06.000 But our current regime, they've studied closely and intently how the Soviet Union ran their country.
00:13:14.000 You see that with the show trials.
00:13:16.000 You see that with the erroneous arrests.
00:13:18.000 But we must understand that tyrants, when they're doing what they do best, which is evil, when they are executing their evil at their best, they must always keep the ruled and also the people around them on their toes.
00:13:34.000 So if they want to actually hold on to political power, they must randomly pick off people and keep you on your toes.
00:13:41.000 That think as if the sword of Damocles could drop on you at any time, that there must be a sense of paranoia.
00:13:47.000 This is exactly why they were okay taking out Andrew Cuomo.
00:13:51.000 Andrew Cuomo was unuseful, but they also kind of wanted to make an example.
00:13:55.000 Like, hey, no one is above the rest around here.
00:13:58.000 Everyone kind of worships at the altar of a couple political families, and we are the untouchables and you are not.
00:14:05.000 So Marine General John R. Allen, who is soon to be indicted for his behind-the-scenes effort to help Qatar influence U.S. policy in 2017, it reminds me of something that Joseph Stalin did when he went after his own military generals almost inexplicably.
00:14:27.000 One in particular was a man by the name of General Tukhachevsky.
00:14:31.000 General Tukhachevsky was such a phenomenal military officer.
00:14:35.000 He was nicknamed as the Red Napoleon.
00:14:38.000 He was prominent between 1918 and 1937 as a military officer and strategist.
00:14:44.000 He was one of the best that they had.
00:14:46.000 But Joseph Stalin started to get very worried about Tukhachevsky.
00:14:50.000 He started to get paranoid.
00:14:51.000 Remember, paranoia goes both ways in authoritarian tyrannical governments.
00:14:55.000 Tukhachevsky was starting to consolidate a lot of support domestically.
00:15:00.000 And he had no ambitions, by the way, to take out Joseph Stalin, but it was enough for Stalin to include him in his multiple-year military purge.
00:15:10.000 When you start to enter authoritarian and tyrannical governments, it's not just the political opponents that the regime goes after, but it's also the temporary political allies.
00:15:25.000 Let me say that again, that authoritarians and tyrants will also go after their allies to try to consolidate support.
00:15:31.000 So in the great purge that happened in 1968 to 1936 to 1938, sorry, basically in the year 1937, Joseph Stalin went on a great purge, killing thousands of random military generals and killing 1.2 million total people in the Soviet system.
00:15:53.000 Now, he did this, he said, to try to get rid of the remaining influence of Leon Trotsky.
00:15:57.000 But what he was really doing is trying to strike fear, a sense that anybody, anytime, could get a knock on their door and be sent to the gulag.
00:16:05.000 What does that do?
00:16:06.000 That creates a renewed sense of loyalty and obedience.
00:16:10.000 Our current regime is using that same sort of pattern of behavior.
00:16:14.000 So when they go after this guy, John R. Allen, Marine General, what they're really doing, what the regime is actually doing is making an example, say, hey, you better listen to orders.
00:16:23.000 You better not step out of line.
00:16:25.000 Even he who ran NATO, who you thought was wearing the untouchable jersey, actually was not untouchable.
00:16:31.000 Now, Paul Pelosi, that's not really, that doesn't do much for them.
00:16:34.000 If they all of a sudden show Paul Pelosi going to jail, what's the significance of that?
00:16:38.000 Now, sometimes some of these slip through the cracks where some of their people are such criminals, even though they're useful, they can't cover it up.
00:16:44.000 Like Harvey Weinstein, they just got to throw it to the dogs, like, we can't handle it anymore.
00:16:48.000 We just got to kind of cast them off the island.
00:16:49.000 But Paul Pelosi didn't do anything that we know of that Harvey Weinstein did, had a DUI and a handgun and all that.

00:16:58.000 And Pelosi is furiously, I'm sure, Nancy Pelosi making calls to go bail out her drunk husband who couldn't pay for an Uber, but decided to drive at 5.30 in the morning after a late night of sipping very expensive wine in Napa Valley.

00:17:18.000 They need to keep the people around them on their toes because they are actually more paranoid than anybody else.

00:18:34.000 I would imagine through cell phone surveillance and all of that, that'd be an interesting thing to find out and actually be the best case for the Patriot Act that I've heard in quite some time because I haven't heard a good one in a long time because the Patriot Act and all this stuff seems to just be abused and spying on moms and dads that show up at school board meetings.

00:20:45.000 But what we do know is House Democrats just blocked a bill to provide more security for Supreme Court justices and their family.
