00:01:32.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:01:32.000 Why is the mayor of Washington, D.C. activating the National Guard for the wave of illegals?
00:01:37.000 But none of the Republican governors are.
00:01:39.000 Jack from Philadelphia.
00:01:41.000 Well, first, do you remember how Muriel Bowser treated the National Guard and Nancy Pelosi treated the National Guard after January 6th?
00:01:49.000 Do you remember that they had them sleeping in parking garages and in basements, totally abusing them while D.C. was under legitimate military occupation, completely unnecessary, when the entire capital became a military zone?
00:02:03.000 We were under a form of martial law in Washington, D.C., post-January 6th?
00:02:08.000 That's number one.
00:02:09.000 Number two, it does beg the question: how and why is the Democrat mayor of Washington, D.C., able to mobilize the National Guard, but Greg Abbott isn't able to mobilize the National Guard, or Doug Ducey is not able to mobilize the National Guard?
00:02:30.000 Why is a Democrat allowed to use the National Guard, but Republicans are not?
00:02:35.000 Now, we've said this for quite a while.
00:02:36.000 We have a no-excuse policy here on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:02:40.000 We believe that Republican state leaders should give the first deference for a period of time to the federal government.
00:02:47.000 For example, you're the governor of Texas and Joe Biden gets sworn in after being implemented as president, not elected, getting implemented as president on January 20th or whatever it was, 2021.
00:02:59.000 You give him a month saying, okay, the federal government, the border, what are you going to do?
00:03:03.000 Maybe give him two months.
00:03:05.000 But after that, the press releases have to stop.
00:03:07.000 The op-eds have to discontinue.
00:03:09.000 And we believe that leaders and people that have courage will act.
00:03:17.000 Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
00:03:19.000 We've said this multiple times.
00:03:20.000 Republican leaders are far more comfortable.
00:03:25.000 And that's an interesting word, isn't it?
00:03:26.000 They're more comfortable writing press releases and sending out memos and doing photo ops than actually mobilizing the government to go fix a problem.
00:03:36.000 Democrats, on the other hand, they love mobilizing the National Guard.
00:03:40.000 Like, sure, National Guard, let's do it.
00:03:42.000 Why haven't Republicans done that in Texas, Arizona?
00:03:46.000 Cut 88 is Muriel Bowser, Washington, D.C. mayor, calling for the National Guard amid illegal migrants being sent into the city.
00:03:54.000 Play Cut 88.
00:03:56.000 And I've also asked the Secretary of the Army to deploy the D.C. National Guard to help lead that effort.
00:04:05.000 So I've asked for the deployment of the Guard as long as we need the Guard to deal with a humanitarian crisis that we expect to escalate.
00:04:15.000 The number of people crossing the border seeking asylum, we expect to only go up.
00:04:21.000 So without any sort of hesitation, let's just go mobilize the National Guard.
00:04:26.000 And yet Republican governors are afraid to do that.
00:04:30.000 To my knowledge, Connor, I've been looking at it.
00:04:32.000 I don't think Texas has mobilized the National Guard at all.
00:04:35.000 I think maybe a little bit here and there, Texas Rangers or Texas Special Forces.
00:04:40.000 Why haven't we totally and completely militarized the southern border?
00:04:43.000 Why is that?
00:04:44.000 Excuses, press releases, memos.
00:04:48.000 And that is why I put the entire blame, all of the blame, on the invasion of our country on Republican governors. 0.99
00:04:55.000 We are being invaded by the Sinaola drug cartel. 0.90
00:04:59.000 We're being invaded by foreign influences.
00:05:01.000 And it's Republicans that are allowing it to happen.
00:05:04.000 But as soon as Washington, D.C. gets invaded, Muriel Bowser acts like a leader and she says, I want the National Guard. 0.94
00:05:11.000 Of course, it's hypocritical. 0.97
00:05:12.000 Of course, it's transparently insane. 1.00
00:05:15.000 Of course, it's silly. 0.95
00:05:16.000 But you're all missing the point.
00:05:18.000 Democrats are willing to use political power to defend their home. 0.93
00:05:22.000 She doesn't want a bunch of Hondurans and Nicaraguans walking around Georgetown, not knowing who they are. 0.99
00:05:27.000 By the way, not vaccinated, not tested. 1.00
00:05:31.000 Muriel Bowser says, yeah, let's bring in the National Guard.
00:05:33.000 We want them out of here.
00:05:35.000 And what do Republican governors do?
00:05:36.000 They write a press release.
00:05:39.000 Democrats are far more willing to use political power to actually get something done than Republicans are.
00:05:49.000 The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, a couple weeks ago, did indeed authorize the Texas National Guard, Department of Safety, to return illegal immigrants to the border under Title 42 expulsion.
00:06:03.000 Now, to what extent and why it took him so long, about 12 months too late, is a mystery.
00:06:11.000 Governor Abbott has said he's going to secure $4 billion in funding for Texas border security efforts, allotting resources that include up to 1,700 unused steel panels to help build the border wall in Texas.
00:06:25.000 It took Bowser about a week to get to the point to ask the National Guard for help.
00:06:29.000 And by the way, I doubt that Texas is doing nearly enough with this.
00:06:33.000 We need an army on the southern border.
00:06:35.000 We need 100,000, 150,000 people to have a zero tolerance policy of anybody invading America.
00:06:41.000 And it's not just Muriel Bowser who is talking about this.
00:06:46.000 New York City Mayor Eric Adams, and if I can say, he has been the greatest political disappointment over the last 12 months.
00:06:54.000 Is that fair to say, Connor?
00:06:57.000 There's been a lot of political disappointments.
00:06:59.000 But Eric Adams, I had hoped that he was at least going to be somewhat normal.
00:07:03.000 He has been just as bad as Bill de Blasio, and in some ways, actually worse.
00:07:10.000 I was just in New York City a couple days ago for the launch of our book, College Scam.
00:07:14.000 You guys can get it at collegescam.com.
00:07:17.000 And it is a filthier city than ever before. 0.98
00:07:20.000 It is gross. 0.99
00:07:22.000 It is a mess.
00:07:23.000 It's chaos.
00:07:25.000 The police are demoralized. 0.99
00:07:27.000 But now Eric Adams is saying, listen, the flow of illegals into New York City, it's going to deteriorate our public services. 1.00
00:07:35.000 Play cut 34. 1.00
00:07:37.000 And we can't have the historical, I believe people should be housed, but just don't house them on my block.
00:07:45.000 Everyone blocks, everyone's block is going to be impacted by this.
00:07:50.000 And so we have to add our advocacy with our ability to help our neighbors.
00:07:58.000 And we need everyone on board with this, you know, because as I stated last week, our schools are going to be impacted.
00:08:05.000 Our healthcare system is going to be impacted.
00:08:08.000 Our infrastructure is going to be impacted.
00:08:12.000 What really bothers me about Eric Adams is how he lied and deceived voters.
00:08:16.000 I know a lot of people in New York City that voted for him in the primary thinking he was going to be a law and order candidate.
00:08:23.000 And he's been the opposite.
00:08:25.000 I don't know what they have on him.
00:08:27.000 I don't know what sort of blackmail they have over him.
00:08:30.000 Even Tucker Carlson did a couple segments platforming Eric Adams.
00:08:34.000 He ran as a moderate, but New York City, I don't know the statistics.
00:08:37.000 And honestly, I don't care about the statistics.
00:08:39.000 I think the statistics are probably that crime is up in New York City.
00:08:42.000 It's probably just a guess.
00:08:43.000 But I care less about the statistics because just from being in New York City, it felt like a completely different country, a different nation, different country, different city.
00:08:54.000 I saw it myself.
00:08:56.000 It's fallen apart.
00:08:58.000 It's over.
00:08:59.000 Now, with the right leadership, it can be resurrected.
00:09:03.000 It can be revived.
00:09:05.000 But that also means the dude that was defecating on the side of the street, you go take care of that.
00:09:13.000 Or the broken windows or the abandoned storefronts or the closed restaurants, you have to act with action.
00:09:21.000 You see, New York City worked for a while because of leadership and because of an agreement on law and order.
00:09:28.000 It is complete bedlam right now.
00:09:31.000 And I think that's the way they want it.
00:09:32.000 I don't really understand the agenda.
00:09:34.000 I mean, again, New York City is rated the unhappiest city in America, but I can't imagine that Eric Adams thinks he's doing a good job.
00:09:45.000 And what's amazing is that he had a mandate to go fix this stuff.
00:09:49.000 He had a mandate to go deploy police.
00:09:51.000 I asked plenty of police, do you guys like Eric Adams?
00:09:53.000 Hate him. 0.93
00:09:54.000 Awful. 1.00
00:09:54.000 Terrible. 1.00
00:09:55.000 He's no respect.
00:09:57.000 You can do whatever you want in New York City and get away with it.
00:09:59.000 It is a unsafe city.
00:10:02.000 People are getting mugged in Wall Street every night.
00:10:05.000 That never used to happen.
00:10:07.000 You have to walk around with security at night in certain parts of New York City just to be safe.
00:10:13.000 Meanwhile, we have a massive skyrocketing crime problem that just seems as if they get away with it.
00:10:28.000 New York City Police Department makes fitness tests easier after increased retirements.
00:10:35.000 That's what we need.
00:10:36.000 We need to make the fitness test easier for New York City police officers. 0.91
00:10:39.000 Ridiculous.
00:10:44.000 We're blessed to live in the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world. 0.80
00:10:48.000 Luke 12, 48 says, quote, to whom much has been given, much will be required.
00:10:52.000 We as Christians can shape our world.
00:10:54.000 One of these ways is how we steward our finances and our money.
00:10:57.000 If you have money and stocks, you have the power to affect change through your investments.
00:11:02.000 Jesus spoke about money in roughly 15% of his teachings and 11 out of 39 of his parables.
00:11:07.000 How do we follow his teachings about money?
00:11:09.000 Well, my friends at PAX Financial can help.
00:11:11.000 I've opened an account with them.
00:11:13.000 I think very highly of them.
00:11:14.000 They are fiduciaries that will make sure you have a responsible plan to retire.
00:11:18.000 I trust them with my money, and I hope you will as well.
00:11:21.000 But look, they'll also help you invest in companies that align with your beliefs.
00:11:24.000 No companies that engage in pornography or in excessive drinking or in a degenerate lifestyle.
00:11:32.000 If you have $150,000 to invest, please text my name, Charlie, to the number 74868.
00:11:38.000 And even if you don't have $150,000, maybe they'll make an exception for you.
00:11:42.000 I don't know.
00:11:43.000 But just learn more about them.
00:11:44.000 Look, text Charlie to 74868.
00:11:47.000 Take advantage of the power to make a difference with your money.
00:11:49.000 PAX Financial.
00:11:50.000 It was great for me.
00:11:51.000 I think it will be terrific for you.
00:11:56.000 Rachel from Boulder says: Charlie, China is threatening to shoot Pelosi out of the sky if she goes to Taiwan. 0.83
00:12:03.000 Should she still go?
00:12:04.000 Yes, she should.
00:12:06.000 You cannot bend a knee to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:12:10.000 I said this, however, on Fox News on Outnumbered, where I do not think this is nearly as heated as they would lead us to believe.
00:12:20.000 Now, I will say the latest tweet from the Chinese state media is very spicy.
00:12:26.000 In fact, it's spicy as it gets.
00:12:30.000 Hu Xuang said, quote, if U.S. fighter jets escort Pelosi's plane into Taiwan, it is an invasion.
00:12:40.000 The PLA has the right to forcibly dispel Pelosi's plane and the U.S. fighter jets, including firing warning shots and making tactical movement of obstruction.
00:12:49.000 If ineffective, then shoot them down. 0.91
00:12:52.000 Yeah, be my guest, Chinese Communist Party. 0.96
00:12:54.000 You guys are all talk and no bite. 0.95
00:12:57.000 All bark and no bite.
00:12:58.000 But I don't believe that's really what's happening here.
00:13:00.000 I think that Peter Schweitzer articulated this best in his book.
00:13:05.000 What was the name of his book?
00:13:07.000 I can't remember his book.
00:13:09.000 And it's all about this idea of elite capture and little bad mouth and big help.
00:13:15.000 I'll talk about that in a second, but let's play this tape here to frame it.
00:13:18.000 I think this is far murkier than the media is leading us to believe.
00:13:22.000 Play cut 102.
00:13:24.000 First, though, I want to just read out that concerning suggestion from Chinese state media that the Chinese could potentially shoot down Pelosi's plane.
00:13:33.000 They said on Twitter: if U.S. fighter jets escort Pelosi's plane into Taiwan, it is an invasion.
00:13:39.000 The PLA has the right to forcibly dispel Pelosi's plane and the U.S. fighter jets, including firing warning shots and making tactical movement of obstruction.
00:13:48.000 If ineffective, then shoot them down.
00:13:52.000 Yeah, and so this is what's so funny to me. 0.91
00:13:55.000 That's how the Chinese talk to us.
00:13:56.000 We let them buy farmland next to our military bases in North Dakota. 1.00
00:14:00.000 Like, yeah, please come by our farmland. 0.98
00:14:02.000 By the way, if you fly into Taiwan, we're going to shoot you down. 1.00
00:14:05.000 I'm still a little bit skeptical of this, though.
00:14:08.000 I don't think this is actually what's happening.
00:14:11.000 I think the Chinese Communist Party has no intent to shoot any airplane down.
00:14:16.000 They're trying to reinforce their territorial sovereignty over Taiwan, which is a fiction.
00:14:20.000 Taiwan is a sovereign country.
00:14:24.000 And just so you understand what happened here, the Republic of China was driven out of China into Taiwan, and they consider Taiwan to be the continuation of that Republic of China.
00:14:40.000 And then the communist revolution happened in mainland China with Mao Setong creating the PLA and now the Chinese Communist Party.
00:14:49.000 And so they believe Taiwan, which also I believe is the island of Hermosa, if I'm not mistaken, the beautiful island, something like that.
00:14:57.000 We could find the fact check on that.
00:15:00.000 And or something, yeah, something about the beautiful, the Isle of Beauty or something like that.
00:15:05.000 It was a Spanish trading point port, if I'm not mistaken, way back when.
00:15:10.000 It was the Dutch.
00:15:11.000 I'm sorry. 1.00
00:15:12.000 It was the Dutch that used to control it.
00:15:13.000 I'm getting my colonial powers confused.
00:15:17.000 And so anyway, Taiwan, it's Formosa.
00:15:21.000 Thank you.
00:15:22.000 Dates back to 1542. 0.70
00:15:23.000 Yep, Portuguese.
00:15:24.000 Okay, yep, the beautiful island.
00:15:25.000 There you go. 0.95
00:15:26.000 It's Portuguese, not Hermosa. 1.00
00:15:27.000 That would be Spanish.
00:15:28.000 The point is, this is that Taiwan then had their own sovereign government, which is far more, let's say, civilized than the Chinese Communist Party.
00:15:35.000 They had a Chinese Civil War, you might remember, in the 1940s, 1949, after losing control of mainland China.
00:15:43.000 Then the ROC, the Republican of Republic of China, under the KMT, then they basically retreated to Taiwan.
00:15:52.000 And so the KMT, otherwise known as the Kuwamun Tong, ruled Taiwan and basically formed the nation otherwise known as Taiwan.
00:16:03.000 Some people considered all of this growth and economic industrialization to be known as the Taiwanese miracle.
00:16:12.000 They held their first ever presidential election in 1996.
00:16:17.000 And Taiwan is an island, just for all the geography buffs out there.
00:16:21.000 And Taiwan is very, very close to mainland China.
00:16:25.000 The South China Sea is what divides mainland China from Taiwan.
00:16:30.000 Taiwan is not a small country at all.
00:16:35.000 Taiwan has a serious population, obviously nothing similar to China or mainland China, but it's not something that could be taken over immediately.
00:16:45.000 The population of Taiwan is 23 million people with some major cities such as Taipei.
00:16:52.000 But the Chinese Communist Party views Taiwan the same way that Vladimir Putin views eastern Ukraine.
00:16:58.000 It's mine.
00:16:59.000 I want it.
00:17:00.000 Now, the difference is, though, is that many people in Taiwan do not want to be part of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:17:06.000 I'm going to stay on this topic. 0.53
00:17:08.000 I think it's very important, but I just find it ridiculous. 0.91
00:17:10.000 The Chinese Communist Party can threaten to shoot our airplanes out of the sky, and yet we can't tell them they can't find farmland in North Dakota, and yet the Republican governor of North Dakota wants them to buy farmland. 0.93
00:17:23.000 It's not a serious country. 0.90
00:17:24.000 So to complete the point, I do think that Pelosi should go, obviously.
00:17:30.000 I think that Republicans should join here and we should make it a big show of support.
00:17:35.000 However, I doubt that Pelosi is actually afraid that she's going to get shot down.
00:17:40.000 There is an expression that Peter Schweitzer used in his book, Red Handed, that the Chinese Communist Party is actually okay with talking back and forth.
00:17:50.000 A lot of back and forth, talking, talking, talking, talking. 0.62
00:17:54.000 What they are not okay with is action.
00:18:00.000 So they call it little bad mouth big help.
00:18:03.000 I'm just distracted because Andrew just sent us something that we are, are we number four overall?
00:18:07.000 Is that all right?
00:18:08.000 Or is that, that looks like it's in a category.
00:18:09.000 I don't think that's overall.
00:18:10.000 Is that right?
00:18:11.000 I guess it is overall because Sea of Tranquility is not in our category.
00:18:15.000 Yeah, we're number four on Amazon overall for college scam.com.
00:18:17.000 It's amazing.
00:18:18.000 Praise God.
00:18:19.000 Number four on Amazon.
00:18:21.000 And that's even with less promo than usual there.
00:18:24.000 So that's really good.
00:18:26.000 Help us pass up the big lie.
00:18:28.000 Is that right?
00:18:29.000 We're right near the big lie on Amazon.com.
00:18:31.000 Sorry, I was distracted.
00:18:32.000 Andrew was, hey, Charlie, congrats.
00:18:34.000 I said, wow, that's really cool.
00:18:36.000 So number four overall on Amazon.
00:18:38.000 That's great.
00:18:38.000 What was the highest that we got?
00:18:40.000 Is that the highest?
00:18:41.000 I haven't even been tracking it.
00:18:42.000 Again, that stuff used to, I used to be hawking.
00:18:45.000 We probably were higher than that yesterday.
00:18:47.000 Yeah, this is the highest.
00:18:48.000 Great.
00:18:48.000 Number four on Amazon.
00:18:49.000 Let's see if we can get it up.
00:18:50.000 Thank you guys.
00:18:50.000 You guys are amazing that buy the book college scam.com.
00:18:53.000 That's a big deal.
00:18:54.000 It really is, considering last time we went on Mark Levin's show and he was so beautiful and amazing to us on Fox News.
00:19:04.000 And this time we've been doing hits and working really hard.
00:19:07.000 Yeah, that's exactly.
00:19:08.000 Andrew said, it's no gaming.
00:19:10.000 That's pure sales.
00:19:12.000 Number four on Amazon overall.
00:19:14.000 I didn't even look at it.
00:19:15.000 It's crazy.
00:19:16.000 Sales up 171%.
00:19:19.000 That's what it says on Amazon.com.
00:19:21.000 By the way, all proceeds go to TurningpointUSA, tpusa.com.
00:19:26.000 And so we've been mostly pushing, by the way, college scam.com.
00:19:29.000 If we've been pushing Amazon, that just goes to show a real natural lift.
00:19:33.000 It's a really great thing.
00:19:34.000 And by the way, we're not done promoing it.
00:19:35.000 We got more coming.
00:19:37.000 Anyway, I'm sorry I got distracted there, but it was kind of a cool little moment there.
00:19:43.000 And honestly, a good thing for humanity.
00:19:44.000 The more people that buy this book, it's a good thing for the civilization, I believe.
00:19:50.000 I do not believe that China has any intent to shoot down Nancy Pelosi's plane.
00:19:56.000 I think that all of this is a welcomed public relations dispute to make it seem as if they really are concerned that a speaker of the House goes to Taiwan to prevent against a serious forensic examination of the origins of the Wuhan virus, of punitive sanctions, of the restricting of their Belt and Road Initiative. 0.97
00:20:17.000 Said plainly, I'm doing my best to articulate this: the Chinese Communist Party is intentionally trying to make a mountain out of a molehill to distract from all the other crimes they've committed against humanity. 0.93
00:20:32.000 It's in China's best interest to draw the line early than to act as if they're okay with the Taiwan thing and eventually get pushed around. 0.98
00:20:43.000 We have a piece of tape I want to play in just a second of the great Peter Ducey asking Jean-Pierre about the Taiwan situation. 0.93
00:20:52.000 We'll get that in just a second.
00:20:53.000 But to answer the question, do I think Pelosi should go to Taiwan?
00:20:57.000 Of course I do.
00:20:58.000 But I also do not believe for a second that this is, I make no mystery and no mistake of this, I don't actually think this is a huge threat to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:21:10.000 I think this is actually a welcomed controversy.
00:21:12.000 It gets their hatred of Taiwan back into the news cycle. 0.90
00:21:16.000 No one's talking about the Chinese coronavirus and the fact that it was likely manufactured in a laboratory. 0.94
00:21:23.000 This is Peter Ducey asking about Taiwan, Play Cut 104. 0.97
00:21:29.000 Thanks, Green.
00:21:30.000 An official who is associated with Chinese state media is suggesting that if Speaker Pelosi tries to go to Taiwan, her plane could be shot down.
00:21:39.000 Does the president have a response to that?
00:21:42.000 You know, I've been asked about, I know you're asking specifically about the rhetoric that we're hearing from China, but as it relates to the speaker's travels, it's something that we're just not going to speak to.
00:22:00.000 Right now, that's a hypothetical.
00:22:05.000 We're just not going to speak on her schedule.
00:22:07.000 As we have said multiple times, we give advice and guidance to any members of Congress where they travel, to the region they travel, whether an advice on geopolitical situation in the region or in the country, and any national security issues that may arise.
00:22:25.000 But again, I'm not going to speak to a hypothetical.
00:22:29.000 Not going to speak to a hypothetical.
00:22:31.000 That does not exactly convey confidence.
00:22:36.000 I think Pelosi should go.
00:22:38.000 I think it's the right thing. 1.00
00:22:39.000 I think you should always stick the Chinese, poke them in the eye if possible. 1.00
00:22:45.000 Not a fan of the Chinese Communist Party at all, but also Pelosi has been carrying the water to the Chinese Communist Party the last couple of years. 0.99
00:22:52.000 I think this whole thing is theatrics.
00:22:55.000 Little bad mouth, big help.
00:22:58.000 That is a Chinese Communist Party phrase of how they view American leaders.
00:23:02.000 They talk a little bad, but they're a big help to their agenda.
00:23:06.000 Okay, let's get to the next question here.
00:23:09.000 Charlie, what does it mean for our society if we have zero trust in our media?
00:23:13.000 What is the societal implication of such a massive loss of trust?
00:23:16.000 How did it happen?
00:23:17.000 George from Detroit.
00:23:19.000 So there is a new poll that Glenn Greenwald has tweeted out.
00:23:23.000 We got to get Glenn on the show.
00:23:24.000 We were emailing back and forth about it.
00:23:25.000 I really want that.
00:23:26.000 So they asked people in 2022, what institutions do you trust?
00:23:32.000 Do you trust them or not?
00:23:34.000 Small businesses are trusted by 68% of Americans.
00:23:38.000 The military, by 64% of Americans.
00:23:41.000 The police, only 45% of Americans, down six points, by the way.
00:23:45.000 Sure, Uvalde did not help.
00:23:48.000 The medical system is trusted by 38% of Americans, down six points.
00:23:53.000 The church is trusted by 31% of Americans, down six points.
00:23:57.000 Public schools are trusted by 28% of Americans, down four points.
00:24:01.000 Organized labor, trusted by 28% of Americans, zero change there.
00:24:07.000 Banks, 27%, down six points.
00:24:10.000 Large technology companies, 26, down three points.
00:24:13.000 The U.S. Supreme Court, 25%, down 11 points.
00:24:17.000 The presidency, 23%, down 15 points.
00:24:20.000 Newspapers, 16%, down five points.
00:24:23.000 The criminal justice system, 14%, down six points.
00:24:26.000 Big business at 14%, down four points.
00:24:29.000 Television news at 11%, down five points.
00:24:32.000 And Congress, 7% people trust Congress, down five points.
00:24:36.000 Now, I just want to say that besides small businesses and the military, every other institution in America is largely distrusted.
00:24:47.000 That is not a good thing.
00:24:49.000 You cannot have a country where a majority of people distrust the police, the medical system, the church, the public schools, organized labor, banks, tech companies, Supreme Court, the presidency, newspapers, criminal justice system, big business, television news, and Congress.
00:25:04.000 What is happening is I believe this is the greatest threat to the great reset.
00:25:07.000 I really do.
00:25:09.000 The great reset hinges on people trusting the big and the powerful.
00:25:15.000 I take this a little differently than most.
00:25:17.000 The fact that small businesses are valued and trusted more than television news by a 57-point margin, I think is a wonderful thing.
00:25:28.000 The fact that small businesses are trusted by a 61-point margin more than Congress, I think is a great thing.
00:25:35.000 People are demanding smaller and local things that they can touch and they can trust by looking in the eyes.
00:25:43.000 And the far-off distant power centers of Silicon Valley and New York City and Washington, D.C., people are getting increasingly repulsed by them.
00:25:55.000 Every single institution lost trust this last year.
00:25:59.000 The police lost trust.
00:26:00.000 The medical system lost trust.
00:26:02.000 The church lost trust.
00:26:03.000 Public schools lost trust.
00:26:05.000 Banks lost trust.
00:26:06.000 Large technology companies lost trust.
00:26:10.000 Now, this is not a healthy thing long term.
00:26:12.000 You can't have a sustainable country.
00:26:14.000 We have to rebuild these institutions and recapture them.
00:26:17.000 But what does the medical system, public schools, banks, tech companies, the presidency, newspapers, big business, television news all have in common?
00:26:29.000 They have been wholly taken over and infected by the woke idea pathogen, every single one of them.
00:26:37.000 And what this shows us is that these major institutions, once a bedrock of American society that were allowed a platform, people don't want to deal with them anymore.
00:26:48.000 What an amazing entrepreneurial opportunity, by the way, to go build new institutions.
00:26:53.000 We need to challenge the big.
00:26:56.000 We value the small over the large.
00:27:01.000 Glenn Greenwald wrote about this, quote, this is how liberal journalists and corporate media have completely destroyed their credibility.
00:27:08.000 It's why nobody trusts them.
00:27:10.000 They make up lies or recklessly spread lies about anyone they regard as their ideological enemy.
00:27:16.000 And almost everyone knows this.
00:27:19.000 And so it is time for the continued growth of bottom-up, not top-down.
00:27:28.000 Why is it that the medical system now has a majority unfavorability rating?
00:27:37.000 Why is it the media has a majority unfavorability rating?
00:27:42.000 It's because they've told us so many lies repeatedly, and there is a common theme.
00:27:49.000 I think trust would go up if Congress or the media or the medical system all had one thing that they would do.
00:27:56.000 They could boost their approval rating.
00:27:58.000 They just did, if they would just admit they did something wrong and apologize, it would go a long way in rebuilding their trust.
00:28:06.000 It is the lack of any self-awareness and apologies that I think angers people.
00:28:11.000 As if, oh, come on, the whole time we knew we were in a recession, or inflation's always been here. 1.00
00:28:17.000 What are you stupid? 1.00
00:28:17.000 Like, go vote for the Reduce Inflation Act. 1.00
00:28:19.000 How are we going to do it?
00:28:20.000 We're going to spend more money.
00:28:22.000 It is an insult to people's basic intelligence.
00:28:25.000 And that is actually part of the strategy. 0.99
00:28:28.000 Trust would go up, by the way, if we stopped all of this illegal immigration. 0.65
00:28:34.000 Unfettered immigration, both legal and illegal, breeds a nation of strangers. 0.99
00:28:41.000 Aristotle said it best.
00:28:43.000 Familiarity, knowing who your neighbor is, breeds a greater degree of mutual trust.
00:28:49.000 If I feel as if I'm living in a country of foreigners and strangers, what are the common ties that bind us together?
00:28:57.000 Our dollar, our currency? 0.98
00:28:59.000 You wear blue jeans and eat hamburgers?
00:29:01.000 Like, that's not a culture.
00:29:03.000 A culture is a shared history.
00:29:05.000 It's a language.
00:29:06.000 It's a story.
00:29:08.000 And we don't even have the same language anymore, by the way.
00:29:14.000 This is not a great thing, the fact that institutions are crumbling and people's trust are lower, but honestly, it gives me more hope.
00:29:22.000 It would be more depressing, honestly, if all these institutions had super high approval ratings after everything done.
00:29:27.000 So it's not a great thing for the society, but it is not an awful thing, the fact that people are actually honestly diagnosing them.
00:29:34.000 So we got to fix it.

00:30:36.000 Someone asked the question, Charlie, you always talk about defending children.
00:30:39.000 What are some examples I can use about how radical the left has become on trans issues?
00:30:45.000 There's two questions I want to get here before the end of the hour, so we're going to go quick.
00:30:48.000 Let's play cut 21.
00:30:50.000 Doctor saying the youngest person that did top surgery on was a 12-year-old.
00:30:54.000 This is child abuse.
00:30:55.000 It should be illegal.
00:30:56.000 Play cut 21.
00:30:58.000 Yeah, I think folks have kind of covered the blockers and hormones, but I'll talk about surgical care a little bit.
00:31:03.000 In terms of masculinizing top surgery, I think 12 is the youngest who's had surgery through our program.
00:31:11.000 Now, this seems to be some sort of a doctor or medical retreat panel.
00:31:14.000 Continues, Cut 54.
00:31:16.000 LA pediatrician says it's no big deal to cut off the breasts of teenage girls. 1.00
00:31:20.000 You can just go and get them later.
00:31:22.000 This is a patent lie, as if it's taking a hat on or getting a haircut.
00:31:26.000 Play cut 54.
00:31:28.000 But so what we do know is that adolescents actually have the capacity to make a reasoned, logical decision.
00:31:36.000 And here's the other thing about chest surgery: if you want breasts at a later point in your life, you can go and get them.
00:31:43.000 It's unbelievable.
00:31:45.000 Yes, that adolescents have the ability to make reasoned decisions.
00:31:50.000 Then why is it they want to raise the age to own an assault rifle then?
00:31:54.000 If a 14-year-old can choose to cut off their breasts, why can't a 14-year-old go buy an assault weapon?
00:32:00.000 One of these things does not belong.
00:32:03.000 So let me get this right. 0.99
00:32:04.000 You could cut off your genitals and chemically castrate yourself, but if you want to go buy a firearm, we don't trust you. 0.99
00:32:12.000 Levine, the man who thinks he's a woman who runs some sort of medical thing in D.C., I can never remember Rear Admiral. 1.00
00:32:18.000 The whole thing is so bizarre.
00:32:21.000 Says gender-affirming care is life-saving and medically necessary. 0.97
00:32:25.000 Play cut 74.
00:32:27.000 Gender-affirming care is life-saving, medically necessary, age-appropriate, and a critical tool for health care providers.
00:32:37.000 As a pediatrician, when it comes to making sure kids are healthy and happy, I know how important care that affirmed someone's true identity can be.
00:32:48.000 Yeah, I mean, I don't need to be lectured by a dude who thinks he's a woman about medical care and taking care of children. 0.97
00:32:58.000 Just sit this one out.
00:32:59.000 In fact, you shouldn't be in our government.
00:33:02.000 Wish the best for you, finding sympathy with a psychologist or someone who knows what they're doing to make you stop doing this whole thing.
00:33:09.000 Same goes with the dude running our nuclear arsenal that wears dresses all the time. 0.99
00:33:13.000 It's sick, it's perverted.
00:33:14.000 Okay, other question here, final question is this one here. 0.93
00:33:21.000 Boy, where's the question?
00:33:22.000 It's something about, oh, yeah, Charlie, did you, okay, Charlie, did you watch the game last night?
00:33:26.000 Republicans dominated 10-0.
00:33:27.000 Pretty cool, right, Gene from Tacoma.
00:33:28.000 Talk about the congressional baseball game.
00:33:30.000 Now, traditionally, Democrats win the congressional baseball game.
00:33:33.000 And Republicans the last couple years have been winning and winning big.
00:33:37.000 So some freak went by the Republican side and flicked them off.
00:33:41.000 I don't know who this is, a Representative Linda Sanchez.
00:33:43.000 But I think you're going to see a lot more Republican victories for years to come.
00:33:47.000 Because as the Democrat Party has become increasingly androgynous with the men that they recruit to run for Congress, they just don't have the testosterone to win the congressional baseball game anymore.
00:34:02.000 Yeah, I know they got Representative, was that guy Heard or whatever his name is or the football player from Dallas.
00:34:10.000 But let's just be honest that as the Democrat Party continues to recruit people like Eric Swalwell and Republicans elect strong men and strong women, let's just be honest.
00:34:25.000 I wouldn't run a run-up against the Republicans.
00:34:27.000 I mean, just look at this.
00:34:28.000 This shows the energy of the parents movement.
00:34:31.000 You telling me you want to experience Kat Kamek charging the plate? 0.62
00:34:36.000 Play cut 105.
00:34:50.000 I mean, whoever that catcher is for the Democrats, that's impressive.
00:34:54.000 They held on to the ball.
00:34:56.000 By the way, that's not even allowed in Major League Baseball.
00:34:58.000 That was just full-on UFC collision.
00:35:04.000 So yes, to answer your question here, I didn't watch the game.
00:35:08.000 I heard about it though.
00:35:09.000 But over the next 10 years, if you were on betting odds, as the Democrats embrace more of the androgynous woman, I think you're going to see more and more victories out of the more alpha males that are running for Republicans and the don't mess with me moms like Kat Kamick.
00:35:30.000 Boy, watch out.
00:35:32.000 Just that alone, even though that she was out at home, I know the Democrats said, forget it.
00:35:36.000 We're going to lose this game.
00:35:37.000 You don't want to mess with that.
00:35:39.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
00:35:40.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:35:43.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:35:44.000 God bless.
