00:01:40.000 Blake, welcome.
00:01:42.000 Hello, good to be back.
00:01:43.000 And Andrew.
00:01:44.000 Hello.
00:01:44.000 So Martha has a question here, which is, Charlie and team, love the show.
00:01:48.000 Love seeing you guys on the ground at Cal State Fullerton.
00:01:53.000 It was great to see you.
00:01:54.000 What is your thought on Ken Buck retiring?
00:01:56.000 This seems outrageous.
00:01:57.000 So we did an entire program on this.
00:02:01.000 And Andrew, I would like to have you riff on this as well, which is this kind of new trend of resigning midterm.
00:02:10.000 Where did this come from, Andrew?
00:02:12.000 Other than just the bitterness and the kind of personal resentment?
00:02:18.000 Andrew, what are your thoughts on this?
00:02:20.000 Well, what I'm hearing, Charlie, is this is a pretty blatant political play to hurt Lauren Bobert because Lauren Bobert, I believe, is in Colorado 4th District, which is a very evenly divided district.
00:02:35.000 You'll remember she won it by, I don't know, a couple hundred votes last cycle.
00:02:40.000 She was planning on moving to Cal or Colorado 3rd, which is where Ken Buck is currently.
00:02:46.000 Ken Buck, we knew, was going to probably be resigning.
00:02:49.000 We just assumed it was going to be in November or after he served his full term.
00:02:55.000 And so he knows that if he leaves now, it'll force a special election.
00:03:00.000 And Lauren Bobert would then have to leave her current district early, which would then leave that district open to another election.
00:03:12.000 So it puts everybody in a really tough position.
00:03:16.000 And, you know, it's, I, you know, I hate to say it, but Ken Buck has been exposed as a really, you know, exacting, sort of petulant, vengeful politician.
00:03:28.000 We've known he's been all over the map, and the rumor is he's angling for a CNN job.
00:03:33.000 So pretty disgusting, no matter how you look at it.
00:03:38.000 It's just politics is blood sport, and politics can be really dirty.
00:03:42.000 And this is a clear example.
00:03:44.000 This now gives us a one-seat majority.
00:03:46.000 Blake, can you go through the math now?
00:03:48.000 Because there's a special election, there's a resignation.
00:03:51.000 You broke it down really beautifully the other day.
00:03:53.000 So Ken Buck resigning out of spite now gives the House Republican Conference a one-seat majority.
00:04:00.000 Basically, so I want to say, because there's a few outstanding seats right now.
00:04:06.000 So right now, we are at 219 Republicans and 213 Democrats.
00:04:13.000 I can't remember actually off the top of my head if that's before or after Ken Buck resigns, but very close.
00:04:18.000 And Democrats are going to, there's an open seat.
00:04:21.000 right now.
00:04:22.000 There's three vacant seats right now.
00:04:24.000 There's an open seat Democrats are going to get back.
00:04:26.000 I can't remember who, but a Democrat left, Blue District.
00:04:29.000 It will go back to them.
00:04:31.000 And so you're looking at it would be 219 to 214.
00:04:36.000 And then that's getting to the point where if you lose one more seat, and then if they fill in another one of these vacant seats, Blue, I can't remember where that election's being held.
00:04:45.000 And you're just at the point where literally any one person can flip the entire House.
00:04:52.000 So we're at 219.
00:04:53.000 218 is your majority.
00:04:55.000 If you lose one more, you're at the point where any single defector can flip it.
00:05:00.000 And that really raises the stakes to where you have to worry what happens is the most single most liberal member of the house on the Republican side has all the power because they can get any concessions they want from the entire Democratic Party in return for, hey, I'll give you guys the speakership going into this fall race, going into the presidential election, giving you control over all of this spending stuff that's been up for grabs.
00:05:30.000 It really increases the risk level, and it's really reckless that, and I guess, you know, traitorous, that you have Republicans undercutting the party to this extent.
00:05:41.000 It is remarkable where, what did we start with, a four, five seat majority?
00:05:44.000 I think so.
00:05:45.000 We had 222, 223, I think.
00:05:48.000 And now we're dead.
00:05:49.000 And we kicked someone out.
00:05:50.000 We kicked Santos out, and then some guy became a college president, and then we lost the special election, and McCarthy resigned.
00:05:57.000 It really is remarkable, the self-inflicted wounds that the Republican House Conference.
00:06:05.000 It shows the amount of bad blood that we get that they seem to not like each other very much.
00:06:10.000 But I think it's easy to miss the details of how really negative the vibes are in a lot of the party, which is just too bad, I guess.
00:06:19.000 All right, let's go to this one here.
00:06:21.000 Caleb says, what predictions do you have for March Madness?
00:06:24.000 Will you and Erica live stream your bracket choices again?
00:06:26.000 That was so fun to watch.
00:06:28.000 I don't know if we'll live stream them this year, but are you a big March Madness guy?
00:06:32.000 No, I don't know.
00:06:32.000 Oh, come on, basketball.
00:06:34.000 Andrew, are you a big March Madness guy?
00:06:36.000 Moderate.
00:06:37.000 I follow, but I try and do a bracket, but that's about it.
00:06:40.000 Yeah, I'll passively do a bracket, but I will say that I take the beginning of March Madness very seriously, even though I couldn't tell you.
00:06:50.000 I don't know if I could tell you right now a current...
00:06:53.000 Maybe I could tell you one active college basketball player.
00:06:56.000 Well, that's part of it.
00:06:57.000 All the good players show up for one year, and then they just go to the NBA.
00:07:00.000 That's right.
00:07:01.000 That's all lame.
00:07:02.000 And then I'm a fan.
00:07:03.000 I think the only thing I follow in March Madness usually is, obviously I root for the 16 seed to win because that's funny.
00:07:09.000 And then there's always one team from the Dakotas in and I see if they can win a game.
00:07:13.000 And the answer is usually no, but I can dream.
00:07:17.000 So my pick is going to be North Carolina.
00:07:21.000 Because that's just usually a good question.
00:07:23.000 You should just be that guy who picks Duke to win every year.
00:07:25.000 And eventually you're right.
00:07:26.000 Yeah, there's a guy who picks Duke to win every year, and he gets it right one out of 10 times.
00:07:30.000 Yeah, once a decade.
00:07:33.000 The fun fact about Duke, the head coach of Duke is John Shire, who went to Glenberg North High School right down the street from where I grew up.
00:07:40.000 And he won a national title with Duke while he was there.
00:07:43.000 All right, Josiah, I apologize.
00:07:45.000 And I do want to ask you about your business, if I'm looking at this right.
00:07:48.000 If you email me.
00:07:49.000 Josiah, what's on your mind?
00:07:50.000 Hey, Charlie, can you hear me?
00:07:51.000 I can, yes.
00:07:52.000 How are you doing?
00:07:53.000 Excellent.
00:07:54.000 Great.
00:07:54.000 Hey, I was wondering, becoming more involved with our church, and I was just wondering what you would suggest as next steps for a church that has not spoken to cultural issues.
00:08:03.000 And the other thing I was wondering is one of the pushbacks I've gotten is that about the danger of vesting in earthly power.
00:08:10.000 And I'm just wondering what you would say to that as well.
00:08:12.000 Sure.
00:08:13.000 And first, thanks for being a member.
00:08:15.000 And if I'm not mistaken, you're involved in a pretzel company.
00:08:18.000 Is that right?
00:08:18.000 Is that the same email?
00:08:20.000 Yeah, Martin's Pretzel Baker.
00:08:21.000 34th generation owner of a pretzel bakery.
00:08:24.000 Yes.
00:08:24.000 That is so cool.
00:08:25.000 So everyone should go check it out.
00:08:27.000 It's Martin's Pretzel Break Bakery, martinspretzels.com.
00:08:32.000 I love small businesses and entrepreneurs like that.
00:08:34.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:08:35.000 Yeah, look, I would just lean on the word.
00:08:37.000 And the word is the word needs to be our guide in everything that we do.
00:08:44.000 And it is clear throughout the scriptures that we're not vesting in earthly authority, but we are doing God's will here on earth.
00:08:51.000 And part of God's will is to try to have virtuous government and to try to have a free society.
00:08:56.000 Demand the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:09:00.000 That's Jeremiah 29:7.
00:09:02.000 And finally, I'll say, get involved with TPUSA Faith.
00:09:05.000 We have a wide variety of resources that I think are terrific and can really help you out.
00:09:11.000 And we'd be happy to do that.
00:09:12.000 So happy to connect you.
00:09:14.000 Andrew, do you have something to add there?
00:09:15.000 Yeah, I would say, you know, the first thing that you should do if you're a committed member of your church is have a private conversation with leadership and see what you can get accomplished there.
00:09:27.000 Put your best foot forward.
00:09:30.000 Do that in an upright fashion.
00:09:32.000 Give them the respect as leaders of the church and ask them to, you know, why they're not doing that.
00:09:38.000 Do they have plans of engaging in these cultural issues?
00:09:41.000 And explain to them that they're leaving a vacuum that other people are going to fill if the church is not talking into these issues.
00:09:47.000 And guess who's going to fill it?
00:09:48.000 The bad guys.
00:09:49.000 Hollywood's going to fill it.
00:09:51.000 Your news media, any of the institutions that have so much rot in them these days.
00:09:57.000 And then I would say vote with your feet.
00:09:59.000 If ultimately they decide against engaging on the cultural issues that are so important in this time and this era that we live in, then go to a church that will.
00:10:08.000 And there's plenty of them that are stepping out in faith and boldness and are willing to address those issues.
00:10:13.000 So I think ultimately the church is going to have to vote with their feet.
00:10:18.000 Lampstands that are honoring God will be lit and he'll snuff out the other ones eventually.
00:10:22.000 I really believe that.
00:10:24.000 Yeah, and I'll just close on this, which is lovingly confronting your pastors.
00:10:29.000 And a great entry point might be screening Letter to the American Church.
00:10:34.000 And Letter to the American Church is a movie that we produce, the TPUSA Faith.
00:10:38.000 It is Eric Metaxas' book, made into film form.
00:10:42.000 And we're going to be doing screenings across the country.
00:10:44.000 In fact, we just did a screening last evening with Turning Point Academy in Deerfield, Illinois, standing room only.
00:10:50.000 They really did a terrific job.
00:10:52.000 And so I was really proud of what they did there.
00:10:54.000 And so hope that's helpful, Josiah.
00:10:56.000 And God bless, man.
00:10:57.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:10:58.000 Thank you.
00:11:00.000 It was really something, you know, and we have a church event coming up on Sunday and a couple more coming up next week.
00:11:05.000 The left, they really see a threat in the church.
00:11:07.000 That's why they have to try to push forward this whole Christian nationalist thing and try to keep the church in its place.
00:11:13.000 And Blake, like 30 seconds, the Soviet Union didn't outlaw churches.
00:11:16.000 They just had approved churches and they co-opted them a lot.
00:11:19.000 You'd have senior KGB members who would be priests and bishops.
00:11:23.000 And they inherited that, unfortunately, from the czar in a lot of ways.
00:11:28.000 You have these churches.
00:11:29.000 When churches are too tethered to the state, it can cause a lot of problems because there are a lot of people who are not Christians, who are not believers, but they see a lot of uses from a church.
00:11:40.000 And so even though we want our churches involved in politics, you definitely don't want them to be a part of government, I would say.
00:11:46.000 I agree.
00:11:49.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:11:50.000 Looking for a reliable and clear way to have voice and text communication to any number from anywhere in the world, you need a satellite phone, and no one does it better than the satellite phone store.
00:12:01.000 Just go to sat123.com.
00:12:03.000 Check out sat sat123.com.
00:12:07.000 There is no tracking, no one can listen in on your phone calls, and the most secure way to communicate is from satellite phone to satellite phone.
00:12:13.000 Even the U.S. military uses satellite phones, and you'll never get an advertisement from any other company because everything you do with the satellite phone will be 100% private.
00:12:22.000 In America this year, only 5% of the island in Maui burned, but 95% of the island lost its power and sell service.
00:12:28.000 Even the 911 emergency service was down because they had no access to satellite communication backup.
00:12:33.000 Be ready, prepare your family with power and communication.
00:12:36.000 Go to sat123.com, get a free sat phone for a free 15-month agreement, a $1,200 value.
00:12:41.000 Safety and security, or just a click away.
00:12:43.000 Just go to sat123.com for affordable individual family plans or call 855-980-5830.
00:12:51.000 So I totally apologize if I mispronounce this.
00:12:54.000 I believe it's Gabor.
00:12:56.000 Is that right?
00:12:56.000 The floor is yours.
00:12:57.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:13:00.000 Great.
00:13:01.000 What's on your mind?
00:13:01.000 Thanks for the support.
00:13:02.000 How are you doing?
00:13:03.000 Oh, hi.
00:13:03.000 I'm doing well.
00:13:04.000 Thanks.
00:13:04.000 So my question is: so, first of all, I just got elected to my local California Republican Assembly group.
00:13:11.000 Excellent.
00:13:11.000 And I watch a lot of your shows and Rich Barris.
00:13:13.000 And so I'm really interested in specifically how RFK Jr. and no labels poses a threat to winning 270 electoral votes and what we can do to change our messaging to reach out to some of these people across the aisle who might be interested in these kind of middle-of-the-road candidates.
00:13:31.000 What a great question.
00:13:31.000 And thank you for being a member.
00:13:33.000 Yeah, this is something that we've really been contemplating for quite some time.
00:13:36.000 I think we've been ahead of the curve on the electoral math.
00:13:39.000 Andrew, you know this.
00:13:40.000 We've been playing around on 2702Win.com quite a lot.
00:13:43.000 And I encourage everyone to do that.
00:13:45.000 It's fun.
00:13:46.000 And Blake, you know, we've done this for quite some time.
00:13:47.000 And it kind of really narrows your narrows your understanding of what the possible and potential paths are.
00:13:55.000 That's why Andrew and I share a passion for the state of Nevada.
00:13:59.000 And we all might be Nevadans one day.
00:14:01.000 If Nevada becomes like this right-wing state, I think it could be.
00:14:05.000 I know people laugh at it.
00:14:06.000 Blake rolls his eyes.
00:14:07.000 He's so cynical.
00:14:08.000 But I would move to Nevada before I would move to Texas.
00:14:12.000 Hey, zero.
00:14:13.000 Zero state income tax.
00:14:14.000 Do you agree?
00:14:15.000 Zero state income tax?
00:14:16.000 100%.
00:14:17.000 And look at Dana White's put up, you know, he's the HQ of UFC is in Nevada.
00:14:22.000 As a native Nevada, and I can tell you that the soul of that state is completely at least libertarian in spirit, but really like hard right.
00:14:31.000 Just stay out of my way, government.
00:14:33.000 Get out of my way.
00:14:34.000 Let me do my thing.
00:14:35.000 And there's a lot of open space and open space.
00:14:37.000 Charlie, you know this from the Arizona area.
00:14:40.000 It creates a certain type of Western, rugged mindset.
00:14:45.000 And my family certainly has that spirit.
00:14:51.000 But there's really two states, two, Charlie.
00:14:53.000 We've talked about this.
00:14:53.000 There's Northern Nevada, and then there's Clark County.
00:14:57.000 And so, you know, if you can win Washoe by a vote, you win the rest of the state.
00:15:02.000 I mean, hands down.
00:15:04.000 And Clark County is an X Factor.
00:15:07.000 There's a lot of conservatives in Clark County, a lot of conservatives.
00:15:10.000 And so you really just need to invest in low-propensity voters.
00:15:15.000 But to answer your question, I do not believe RFK will win a single electoral vote.
00:15:19.000 Do you agree?
00:15:20.000 I agree.
00:15:21.000 And I can't see no labels doing it either, if in fact they run.
00:15:25.000 They're having trouble getting out of the gate.
00:15:27.000 Yeah.
00:15:27.000 What's funny is they're both middle of the road and yet they appeal to totally different people.
00:15:31.000 RFK is all about, I'm disillusioned with politics.
00:15:36.000 You can smell the weed smoke from a lot of them.
00:15:38.000 Like, man, it's all just a skim, man.
00:15:41.000 And so you've got that element.
00:15:43.000 And then you have no labels, which is very much the, why can't we just let Washington do what it needs to do to save America?
00:15:49.000 Yeah, why can't we trust the ruling?
00:15:51.000 Why can't we just get behind Mitt Romney Mansion and let them save America?
00:15:56.000 So to answer your question, which is an excellent question, currently RFK is taking more from the Democrats.
00:16:01.000 We warned against Donald Trump's promoting of the vaccine as a weight that would give a life force energy to the RFK campaign.
00:16:12.000 And so there needs to be some skepticism there.
00:16:15.000 RFK could play significant spoiler, though, in the state of Wisconsin.
00:16:19.000 RFK is doing good with younger voters.
00:16:22.000 He does very, very well.
00:16:24.000 He will do very well at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
00:16:26.000 And if RFK, for example, wins 20% of the vote in Dane County, Wisconsin, Donald Trump probably becomes president.
00:16:35.000 And Dane County is University of Wisconsin-Madison.
00:16:38.000 It's the capital of the state.
00:16:41.000 And so Cornell West will be more of a protest vote.
00:16:45.000 If you were like in the best case scenario, you should be cheering for Cornell West to run a single issue campaign on Gaza.
00:16:52.000 Yeah.
00:16:52.000 Would you agree?
00:16:53.000 Yeah, if you get it 3% or 4% as a Gaza protest vote, Democrats are sweating.
00:16:57.000 Yeah, so if Cornell West just like wear, because RFK is actually pretty pro-Israel, if you look at his stuff, so he's not, he doesn't fit that mold.
00:17:04.000 And Cornell West, by the way, is insanely pro-Gaza.
00:17:08.000 The left is, they're getting really out there.
00:17:10.000 Oh, they really are.
00:17:11.000 A lot of the right doesn't notice this, but it's even Schumer calling for that election in Israel.
00:17:16.000 Regime change?
00:17:16.000 Yeah, regime change.
00:17:17.000 I don't really.
00:17:18.000 He did it at APAC.
00:17:19.000 Did you know that?
00:17:20.000 I did not know that.
00:17:22.000 I saw this in the New York Times.
00:17:23.000 Wait, didn't he do it?
00:17:23.000 I thought he did it from the Senate floor.
00:17:25.000 Well, hold on.
00:17:26.000 Let me make sure I'm clear.
00:17:27.000 Okay, no, so he didn't do it from APAC, but it was during, while APAC was convening in D.C., okay?
00:17:33.000 So I'm sorry, I'm not correct there.
00:17:36.000 Why I was confused is they said this with an APAC pamphlet underneath it, and APAC was meeting this week, the American Association of American Israeli Political Action Committee, I think that's what it is.
00:17:47.000 So an A13.
00:17:49.000 So Schumer says this, and then he goes to, you go here and you say, Schumer calls Netanyahu obstacle to peace, and pro-Israel lobby faces challenges from both sides of the political aisle while they have APAC gathering.
00:18:05.000 It's really something else.
00:18:06.000 Okay, just to close it out, though, the third-party candidates currently will probably hurt Joe Biden more than Donald Trump.
00:18:12.000 And that's Donald Trump's advantage to lose.
00:18:15.000 And I say this as a committed Trump vote supporter.
00:18:17.000 If Trump plays too much into the vaccine, he could ignite the RFK candidacy to splinter away.
00:18:23.000 Cornell West will not take from Trump.
00:18:25.000 Jill Stein will not take from Trump.
00:18:27.000 No labels, if they run, could conceivably hurt Trump with center-right, moderate, hold-your-nose for Trump voters.
00:18:34.000 But they also would pull from soft Democrats as well.
00:18:37.000 Great question.
00:18:37.000 Let's get to the next one here.
00:18:39.000 I do want to please Andrew.
00:18:40.000 One thing.
00:18:41.000 There's a new report out from the NBC that's basically saying that the DNC is reportedly building a team to tackle third-party and independent presidential candidates, which the Biden administration views as a threat to President Biden's reelection chances.
00:18:58.000 So when you look at this stuff, you know, they'll tip their hand eventually because they have to.
00:19:03.000 So the fact that DNC is taking this threat so seriously, and by the way, this report came out from NBC just yesterday.
00:19:10.000 They view RFK.
00:19:13.000 I guarantee you, they're looking at the internal polling and they're seeing who he's peeling from.
00:19:17.000 It's namely young voters.
00:19:18.000 It's namely protest votes against Joe Biden.
00:19:21.000 RFK is going to inflict more harm on Joe Biden than Donald Trump.
00:19:27.000 That was probably not true six months ago, to Charlie's point, but it's very true now.
00:19:31.000 And then you add on Cornell West and Jill Stein, and they have a real serious problem at their hands.
00:19:38.000 I think that's exactly right.
00:19:39.000 Okay, let's get to the next question.
00:19:40.000 It is Jacob.
00:19:42.000 Jacob, what is on your mind?
00:19:45.000 And Jacob, thank you for the great support.
00:19:47.000 Jacob, which means by the heel and usurper in Hebrew.
00:19:52.000 Jacob, how are you?
00:19:53.000 Charlie, can you hear me?
00:19:53.000 Yes.
00:19:54.000 What's on your mind?
00:19:55.000 Hey, I live in southwestern Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania is a very important state, as you guys know.
00:20:01.000 And I was just wondering how to get more involved locally in my community and what the best ways for me to get involved and make a difference.
00:20:10.000 I live about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, and I live in a pretty red area, but I know there's a lot of blue areas around the Pittsburgh area.
00:20:19.000 And I was just wondering if there's any advice you guys had for me.
00:20:22.000 Yeah, well, first of all, God bless you, man.
00:20:24.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:20:25.000 We need you, and we need everyone to get super involved.
00:20:28.000 So, number one, happy to connect you with Turning Point Action if you're interested.
00:20:32.000 Number two, try to become a precinct committee man or get involved with your local GOP.
00:20:36.000 It's probably a county-based GOP.
00:20:39.000 If you're 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, it probably wouldn't be a city-based GOP.
00:20:42.000 So, whatever county you're in, I don't want to have your personal details out here, but happy to help you privately.
00:20:48.000 Then, just type in whatever county you're in, GOP, reach out.
00:20:51.000 They're probably disorganized, but they will be so happy that you're there.
00:20:56.000 And I just want to give you some caution.
00:20:58.000 They're probably, it's going to be a little annoying at times.
00:21:00.000 They won't be on board with it.
00:21:02.000 But honestly, go run to be county chair.
00:21:05.000 Like, they would love to elect a young person to be county chair of whatever county you live in, especially if it's a red county.
00:21:11.000 And just because it's a red county, maybe your goal will be like, hey, we want this county to vote 75% Trump, not just 72% Trump.
00:21:19.000 Like, try to win by even more.
00:21:21.000 Andrew, do you have something to add to that?
00:21:23.000 Yeah, I mean, Pennsylvania is a really important state, obviously.
00:21:27.000 You know, the Real Clear Politics Average now has PA in Trump's corner.
00:21:32.000 I think it's going to be a tough state to win.
00:21:34.000 It's a really messed up state electorally in a lot of ways.
00:21:37.000 No disrespect to your home state.
00:21:40.000 But it's also a really hard state to poll as well.
00:21:44.000 So we really don't know what's going to happen to it.
00:21:46.000 We know there's a lot of issues in Philly, Pittsburgh.
00:21:51.000 You know, there's a lot of shenanigans that go on.
00:21:53.000 So we need poll watchers.
00:21:54.000 We need people that are true believers that are going to be calling out some of the shenanigans that are inevitably going to happen in those, especially those two places.
00:22:04.000 But listen to this: there's 80,000 Amish voters in Pennsylvania.
00:22:09.000 A lot of them are not registered to vote.
00:22:10.000 And Landscape is the same as the 2008.
00:22:11.000 There's 80,000 truckers.
00:22:13.000 There's 80,000 truckers.
00:22:14.000 There's 800,000 veterans.
00:22:16.000 There's 930,000 hunters.
00:22:19.000 And we know that hunters, basically, like half of them aren't registered to vote.
00:22:22.000 It's this weird sort of stay off the grid mentality, don't want the government knowing what I'm doing thing.
00:22:27.000 They need to get registered to vote.
00:22:29.000 So ballot chase, ballot chase, ballot chase, ballot chase.
00:22:32.000 To Charlie's point, we need that at Turning Point Action.
00:22:36.000 Scott Pressler, I think, is living in Pennsylvania now.
00:22:39.000 We work closely with Scott.
00:22:41.000 So lots of options.
00:22:42.000 Yeah, and remember, red areas can become even redder.
00:22:46.000 Okay.
00:22:46.000 Red areas can get, you can expand your margins even more and find every last voter.
00:22:51.000 Inflation, immigration, these places might even surprise you where they could become 80, 90% right-wing with some of the dynamics there.
00:22:58.000 And that can make up for some of the nonsense that's happening in downtown urban Philadelphia.
00:23:04.000 And Charlie, remember, actually, Blake always makes this point.
00:23:07.000 Philly went more Trump in 2020 than 2016.
00:23:10.000 That's right.
00:23:11.000 Okay, we have Paul.
00:23:12.000 Paul, thank you for the support.
00:23:14.000 What is on your mind?
00:23:15.000 Hi.
00:23:16.000 100 years ago, the Bolsheviks shot my great-grandfather in Russia.
00:23:20.000 My grandfather was orphaned, and they did immigrate to the U.S. to San Francisco.
00:23:28.000 And so my passion is taking back California.
00:23:32.000 I might be the only one that thinks we can, but as I said in my QA, there's 50,000 precincts in California approximately.
00:23:40.000 I ran for the 63rd Assembly District Central Committee, Republican Central Committee, where we have 667 precincts.
00:23:50.000 And I think one godly or TPUSA volunteer in every precinct in California can take it back.
00:24:00.000 You know, we have all the House seats.
00:24:03.000 I worked with my pastor, Jack Hibbs, and we gained lots of House seats.
00:24:08.000 Not too many people are talking about that, but I believe we could gain more and really keep that majority in Congress.
00:24:15.000 So I love it.
00:24:16.000 Thank you for the support.
00:24:17.000 And I'm sorry to hear about your father.
00:24:18.000 That is quite a testimony as to why you're involved.
00:24:23.000 So here's some reasons.
00:24:24.000 Look, long term, I think that California can narrow.
00:24:28.000 And so let me give you an example.
00:24:29.000 In 2020, Joe Biden won the state of California by 30 plus points.
00:24:34.000 You can get the exact numbers.
00:24:35.000 I think it was 65 points.
00:24:36.000 Almost exactly 30.
00:24:38.000 6.1 million votes.
00:24:39.000 In 2022, Gavin Newsom won by 19 points.
00:24:44.000 Okay.
00:24:44.000 So that's an 11-point differential in two years.
00:24:46.000 Now it's lower turnout, but that's something.
00:24:49.000 That shows that there is some flex in those joints.
00:24:52.000 And so if you have an 11-point movement in two years, look, a 19-point Democrat state that's still very comfortable.
00:25:00.000 That's more than Texas is Republican.
00:25:02.000 That's more than Florida is Republican.
00:25:05.000 I wouldn't fixate on winning it for a presidential election.
00:25:07.000 No, no, I'm not even.
00:25:09.000 There's 50 House seats.
00:25:11.000 What I'm saying, though, is that there can be movement.
00:25:14.000 And you can win counties, right?
00:25:16.000 So taking back Orange County is a great use of time, right?
00:25:20.000 I was just in Orange County.
00:25:20.000 There are some sheriff jobs there.
00:25:22.000 So let me give you an example.
00:25:23.000 Okay, so I was in Orange County yesterday, and I saw five times a billboard.
00:25:28.000 And it said, if you shoplift, we prosecute.
00:25:31.000 This is not L.A. County.
00:25:32.000 Wow.
00:25:33.000 Like five times.
00:25:35.000 And like, so what do they do?
00:25:37.000 They go to L.A.
00:25:38.000 They go do their shop.
00:25:39.000 I ask all the people there.
00:25:41.000 They say crime is down big time.
00:25:42.000 All these like thugs that come and steal stuff.
00:25:44.000 Like, it just, that's a conservative element there.
00:25:48.000 There are five congressional seats in Orange County, five.
00:25:51.000 In 2018, all five went Democrat.
00:25:54.000 All five.
00:25:55.000 Now I think three out of five are Republican, and they think that if they get their ballot harvesting stuff together, they can run the table and go five for five in Orange County.
00:26:05.000 They can.
00:26:06.000 So Andrew, you are the only one that lives in California.
00:26:09.000 Please riff on us.
00:26:10.000 No, I okay.
00:26:11.000 So a couple things to his point.
00:26:13.000 You say this too, Charlie.
00:26:15.000 The California conservatives are the best conservatives.
00:26:20.000 And this whole idea of this kind of like moderate California conservative, what the party always tries to do here is total garbage.
00:26:26.000 They try and appeal to the middle.
00:26:27.000 No, we are fired up.
00:26:28.000 We're like, we're rock-ribbed.
00:26:31.000 We've been through the just the insanity of left-wing government.
00:26:36.000 We know it.
00:26:38.000 I will say that, yeah, we can, California is important for control of the House.
00:26:43.000 And you're right.
00:26:43.000 We got shellacked many times on this whole ballot harvesting thing.
00:26:47.000 We took it to court, couldn't win.
00:26:49.000 Ultimately, we just decided, hey, you can't beat them, join them.
00:26:52.000 This is one of the inspirations for the Chase the Vote project at Turning Point Action.
00:26:57.000 A lot of people say, ah, election integrity, election integrity.
00:27:00.000 You can't trust the votes.
00:27:01.000 You're right.
00:27:02.000 But they can only cheat so much.
00:27:05.000 And so the point is, you've got to play the game the way the rules are written.
00:27:09.000 So California's been an inspiration for that because eventually they just said, hey, we got to harvest two, and we're going to harvest it churches, and we're going to harvest it all these other places where we're strong.
00:27:17.000 And that made a huge difference.
00:27:18.000 It's the only reason we have the House right now.
00:27:21.000 But the other thing that I think when we talk about long term is that the Republican Party under Trump is becoming more minority, more working class.
00:27:32.000 And that bodes well for a state like California, which has a majority-minority demographic, right?
00:27:39.000 Where, you know, there's not as many white people here as there are in Iowa, right?
00:27:45.000 So we're not over 50% anymore.
00:27:48.000 And so I think as the party shifts, you're going to see a realignment in the state of California.
00:27:53.000 I'll never forget that the one voting group that was pro the one minority group that was pro Gavin Newsom, sorry, I'm just blanking on the word, repealing him.
00:28:07.000 Getting rid of recalling, thank you.
00:28:09.000 Gavin Newsom was Hispanics in Los Angeles County.
00:28:13.000 So when you think, I mean, there's a lack of information in California.
00:28:18.000 I'm telling you, the press here is awful.
00:28:20.000 It fixates on national politics, not as much on local politics.
00:28:23.000 So people aren't even really informed.
00:28:25.000 But I found that to be a really, really positive development.
00:28:29.000 I think for the foreseeable future, it's out of reach.
00:28:32.000 But as that shift takes place, if it continues, if it keeps growing, we're going to get a great sign of it in this presidential election.
00:28:40.000 There is a possibility here.
00:28:41.000 One negative, all right?
00:28:43.000 And I hate to be the negative guy, but last year, we just got this from the U.S. Census Bureau: 338,371 people left California.
00:28:52.000 How many?
00:28:53.000 And I would bet 338,000 people year over year left California, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and that's from Kevin Kiley.
00:29:01.000 That's just a state one year, year over year.
00:29:04.000 And get this: I would bet that population.
00:29:08.000 That's probably 75% Republican voters that are leaving the state.
00:29:13.000 But is my math right?
00:29:14.000 A 33 million person state, 300,000?
00:29:16.000 That's about 1%.
00:29:18.000 They have a shrinking population, according to the city.
00:29:20.000 Even with all the illegals and with all the invaders, all of that.
00:29:24.000 Yeah.
00:29:25.000 Now, maybe that does mean they're larger than we think because our belief is they radically undercount how many illegal immigrants there are.
00:29:32.000 But for people that the government can track, which is importantly, people the government can tax, those are the ones who are fleeing the state.
00:29:39.000 California is rapidly becoming this creepy dystopia where it's rich tech oligarchs who are 5% of the population on this vast service class beneath them.
00:29:50.000 It's one of the most unequal states.
00:29:52.000 It's one of the most impoverished states after you adjust for cost of living.
00:29:57.000 It's very dark what they have done to California.
00:30:00.000 Great question.
00:30:01.000 Thank you.
00:30:04.000 What if I told you that most of the notable diaper brands support abortion, even footing the bill for their employees to travel to have an abortion?

00:31:17.000 Lisa, thank you for being a member.
00:31:19.000 Thank you for having our back.
00:31:20.000 Lisa, what's on your mind?
00:31:22.000 Hi, I'm from California and I'm never, ever, ever giving up.
00:31:28.000 So the question I have is just why isn't there a little bit more discussion about the fact that our president is committing treason?
00:31:37.000 We have invaders that are coming in, I mean, in numbers.
00:31:41.000 Now he even admits that he flew them in.
00:31:44.000 And every one of them says, when they're asked, I'm going to vote for Biden.
00:31:48.000 I'm going to vote for Biden.
00:31:50.000 Why can't we get Biden for treason?
00:31:52.000 We should be.
00:31:53.000 One of the major issues is the way that we go after a treasonous president is impeachment.
00:31:58.000 And now with a one-seat majority, that's just not going to happen.
00:32:01.000 I mean, that is dead.
00:32:03.000 But he's a traitor for multiple reasons.
00:32:05.000 Traitor, what he did with China.
00:32:06.000 But honestly, I think that the border that you're isolating is the great act of treason against the American Republic.
00:32:13.000 And especially with how he's deployed Alejandro Mayorkas.
00:32:16.000 But I want you to riff on this.
00:32:18.000 Talk about how they found a glitch in the system where they just don't enforce the law, where they just kind of dodge it or passively.
00:32:25.000 Like they say, oh, no, we're securing the border where they control the executive branch and they just kind of enforce what laws they want to enforce.
00:32:33.000 Yeah, well, so it's always been it is the executive branch.
00:32:36.000 The root of that is execute.
00:32:37.000 It is the job of the branch to carry out, execute, conduct, enforce the laws that Congress passes.
00:32:45.000 And there's traditionally been a lot of deference to them in the same way we do for a lot of other governments.
00:32:49.000 Like a prosecutor chooses which cases to prosecute or not.
00:32:53.000 And traditionally, that was okay because we could trust a prosecutor to, oh, he'll prosecute cases that are strong and he just will avoid ones where it's weak, the evidence is flimsy, that sort of thing.
00:33:05.000 But now this is also politicized and at the national level where they can just say, oh, yeah.
00:33:11.000 So it's a two-part thing.
00:33:13.000 First, they claim only the federal government can do anything to enforce federal immigration laws.
00:33:18.000 So they got all their judges and crap on board with this, where they'd say, oh, Arizona can't punish someone for being an illegal because it's not there.
00:33:27.000 They're usurping the federal government's job to enforce that.
00:33:30.000 And then the federal government goes and says, we're just going to selectively not enforce it.
00:33:35.000 And we're going to even institutionalize our non-enforcement of it.
00:33:38.000 That's what DACA was.
00:33:39.000 DACA, the excuse from Obama was, we're not doing an amnesty.
00:33:44.000 We're doing deferred action.
00:33:47.000 We're going to just, you know, we're delaying our adjudication of this illegal immigrant case when we know they're here illegally.
00:33:54.000 We know the law says they have to leave, but we're deferring the action.
00:34:00.000 And so it's just an incredible amount of kabuki theater bullcrap what they've done where they go around and they'll say they're just or even what they're doing with these asylum hearings.
00:34:10.000 They've weaponized, oh, well, they need their day in court for asylum.
00:34:13.000 It's a lot of trash.
00:34:14.000 Yeah, we're just, we're giving them their day in court.
00:34:16.000 Their day in court is in a decade.
00:34:17.000 And what happens if they don't show up?
00:34:19.000 ISIS policy is to not arrest anyone who's an illegal unless they're arrested for a felony crime that is not drunk driving, apparently, according to Biden.
00:34:27.000 So you blow off your court hearing in a decade and nothing will happen.
00:34:31.000 And so it's this immense amount of rigging on the legal system where they just selectively will come out and say, oh, well, the law says this while doing everything to undermine it.
00:34:43.000 And it really is just a colossal amount of BS.
00:34:47.000 And you get why you should just fire all of these people.
00:34:49.000 And it's kind of a new strategy.
00:34:50.000 They do this across the board, though, which is like, we just don't enforce the laws we don't like.
00:34:54.000 Yeah.
00:34:54.000 And it undercuts the idea of America as a republic of laws.
00:34:59.000 It undercuts the idea of America as a country where the law matters.
00:35:05.000 It's making America a more functionally authoritarian country because it's just whoever's in charge can just decide the laws, whatever they want it to be.
00:35:13.000 Okay, Jeff, what is on your mind?
00:35:15.000 Can you hear me okay?
00:35:17.000 Yes, Jeff.
00:35:17.000 How are you?
00:35:18.000 Yeah, pretty good.
00:35:19.000 I'm out here in Eugene, Oregon.
00:35:21.000 Met you at the gathering there in Colorado Springs last fall.
00:35:26.000 Yeah.
00:35:27.000 Or go ducks people here.
00:35:32.000 I've been playing around on the TP Action platform there, and I went into the area where you could be a precinct leader.
00:35:42.000 We're a precinct leader there, and it shows me my neighborhood, but it doesn't show me any precinct information.
00:35:52.000 Can you kind of educate me on that or give me a contact there at TP Action?
00:35:58.000 So, first of all, thank you.
00:35:59.000 I was having a trouble time hearing you.
00:36:01.000 But first of all, go ducks.
00:36:03.000 And so, Oregon is still in development.
00:36:06.000 It's not a top priority yet.
00:36:08.000 We're happy to help you with that.
00:36:09.000 And I'm glad you're using the platform and getting it deployed.
00:36:12.000 And so, happy to connect you with the team there.
00:36:15.000 And by the way, just so everyone knows, we are rolling out a national mobile technology that will allow, especially people in Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, to open up their phone, chase early ballots, knock on doors.
00:36:28.000 We're going to be testing this all summer.
00:36:30.000 And coming up right after Labor Day, we're going to be, I'd say probably August after the People's Convention, after in June, and then August, every single day we're going to be promoting the Turning Point Action mobile application.
00:36:42.000 And Andrew, it's pretty impressive.
00:36:44.000 Our goal is that if the Charlie Kirk Show audience can have a couple thousand, maybe 10, 15,000 new people that are downloading this application and chasing ballots and knocking on doors, it could be a decisive factor.
00:36:55.000 Well, no, and I want to tell Jeff as well.
00:36:58.000 I tried to use it here in Santa Barbara and I was unable because the data hadn't been populated yet.
00:37:05.000 And to Charlie's point, the rollout is going to be nationwide.
00:37:08.000 So eventually you will have that.
00:37:11.000 But they're focusing on different high-priority districts first, right?
00:37:16.000 So of course those main three states of Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona, but also Michigan, Pennsylvania.
00:37:24.000 I know that we have people using it in Southern California.
00:37:27.000 We mentioned Orange County.
00:37:28.000 It's going very well.
00:37:30.000 Yeah.
00:37:31.000 And so as the priority list, so you got to understand the tech rollout of this was a huge lift and it's still a huge lift.
00:37:40.000 But more will come online.
00:37:43.000 So rest assured that that data will populate eventually.
00:37:47.000 Thank you for the support.
00:37:49.000 We appreciate it.
00:37:49.000 And the app is getting better and better right now.
00:37:52.000 Most of the data we've configured into it is Arizona, Wisconsin, which is, of course, the top priority.
00:37:58.000 Okay, everybody.
00:37:59.000 Jesslyn, I think I'm saying that correctly.
00:38:02.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:38:03.000 Make sure you unmute and what is on your mind.
00:38:07.000 Yes, sir.
00:38:07.000 I posted a couple questions, but a few of them have already been answered real quick.
00:38:13.000 With regards to a church that is in this area in Arizona, and they have already seemed warm to the idea of featuring the movie Letters to American Church and to possibly having you speak and visit and dialogue with the younger generations around and the older ones too.
00:38:31.000 What's our next step?
00:38:32.000 What can we do?
00:38:33.000 Do we get them in contact with you?
00:38:35.000 How do we get down to talking price?
00:38:37.000 How do we pay for it?
00:38:38.000 How do we promote it?
00:38:40.000 Where are you, Jesslyn?
00:38:41.000 I'm sorry, I missed that.
00:38:43.000 Peoria.
00:38:44.000 Oh, Peoria, Arizona.
00:38:46.000 Yes, sir, up in the 303 area.
00:38:48.000 If you were going to say Peoria, Illinois, I'd say, yeah, I'm not going to visit there anytime soon.
00:38:53.000 So, Jesslyn, email me, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:38:57.000 If it's local, happy to help make it work.
00:38:58.000 We can make it big and promote it.
00:39:00.000 And I want to try to speak at new churches, new places in the valley.
00:39:03.000 I have a heart for Arizona.
00:39:05.000 And I haven't been out to Peoria in a little while.
00:39:07.000 So just right when we're done, just email me, follow up, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:39:12.000 And if we can make it work scheduling, we'll see what we can do.
00:39:16.000 If it was Peoria, Illinois, I would kindly decline.
00:39:21.000 By the way, that's a beautiful town, Peoria, Illinois, home of Caterpillar.
00:39:24.000 Not many people know that.
00:39:25.000 If it plays in Peoria, yeah, it's right.
00:39:27.000 I think it's the Illinois River that cuts through Peoria, Illinois.
00:39:31.000 Anyway, love Peoria, Peoria, Arizona.
00:39:33.000 Much prefer.
00:39:33.000 Thank you, Jesslyn.
00:39:34.000 Let's get to another question.
00:39:36.000 Rick, you are the last one.
00:39:38.000 Rick, thank you for being a member.
00:39:39.000 What's on your mind?
00:39:40.000 I think short-term, great news, chatter on climate change is softening a bit, but it's still a core issue for the globalists and thus for the left, too.
00:39:48.000 Your most recent conversation with Dennis Prager, you briefly touched on this.
00:39:53.000 I guess we need to keep a focus on the idea that the same now proven false mathematical models that led the world down the wrong path on COVID are the very same models being used to drive climate change frenzy and all the doomsday discussion.
00:40:05.000 When Biden was down the border, he made a comment.
00:40:07.000 Anyone who questioned climate change, then that Nendra, how is that any way shape or form science?
00:40:13.000 I think part of the conservative message must remain that common sense, you know, science where it is, and then really a cost-benefit analysis of every decision and really some real actual open viewpoints and research allowed in the climate change debate.
00:40:30.000 It's a great track record to be in front of things like this stuff.
00:40:32.000 And that might be the, keep that in mind.
00:40:34.000 That might be the next thing you guys need to take a focus on post-the-election.
00:40:38.000 I love that.
00:40:39.000 Yeah, so it's very interesting.
00:40:40.000 I actually wrote this down from the James Lindsay Joe Rogan interview, which I encourage you guys to listen to.
00:40:45.000 James Lindsay is a dear friend and he did great.
00:40:47.000 Joe Rogan says, quote, core samples show the Earth's temperature has never been static and it's always changed.
00:40:53.000 Tons of variables and contributing factors over time play into that.
00:40:57.000 Human activity is probably one.
00:40:59.000 But should we effing torch and throw out the entire society we enjoy just because of a little warming?
00:41:05.000 Sounds stupid to me.
00:41:06.000 I just love that quote.
00:41:07.000 It's very Joe Rogan-esque.
00:41:08.000 Right?
00:41:09.000 That's like the biggest picture about it.
00:41:11.000 Literally, if you grant all of their premises about what is happening with the climate, that it's getting warmer, that it's going to be a problem for XYZ reasons.
00:41:19.000 Oh, so the fixes to this is to give Democrats power?
00:41:22.000 Democrats can't even run San Francisco.
00:41:23.000 They can't even run the richest city in the world without it being a total literal poophole.
00:41:28.000 And so obviously the solution, it's like when we had that fossil future guy on the show, any problems caused by climate change would be caused by our ability to generate lots of energy so that we can do it.
00:41:39.000 So if you want to talk about, oh, we're going to need to like, you know, put phosphate in the atmosphere or something so that it doesn't warm as much.
00:41:46.000 That would make a lot more sense than, oh, yeah, we're going to ban your plastic straws and make you use paper and we're going to make you never fly on a plane again, except we'll still fly on a plane to Switzerland because we're really important.
00:41:58.000 That's how you get ahead of it.
00:42:01.000 So much of the climate stuff is we want an excuse to have COVID-level power permanently, and we want an excuse to make everyone's lives worse because we feel really virtuous when we do that.
00:42:10.000 And it's very much a peak America syndrome, I think.
00:42:13.000 And I think it's going to break apart when people already see their lives getting worse, when they see their wages don't go as far, everything's more expensive, it's harder to buy a house.
00:42:22.000 I think there's going to be way less patience for all of this virtue signaling crap that you get from the Davos crowd.
00:42:28.000 And Blake, to your point, the key to a prosperous economy is cheap, abundant energy.
00:42:35.000 And their whole solution is basically to destroy humanity and our modern economy for a couple of degrees.
00:42:42.000 But I do think to this caller's point that we do have to have an alternative message.
00:42:48.000 You know, hunting, preservation of the land, environment, like a conservative environmental message needs to also be present in this discussion because we do care about the environment.
00:43:01.000 We do care about clean water and clean air and breathable air.
00:43:05.000 But we also want people to be able to afford their food and their mortgage and their rent.
00:43:10.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:43:11.000 Email us as alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com.
