00:01:32.000 Our team will filter through that, and then we will call on you, and we're going to try our best to get through everyone.
00:01:37.000 So let's get started.
00:01:38.000 Brandon, you are first.
00:01:39.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:01:40.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:01:42.000 What is on your mind?
00:01:43.000 Good morning, Charlie.
00:01:45.000 So, I was curious if you had any advice for a conservative future social worker, considering that the social work field is primarily liberal.
00:01:55.000 Wow, first of all, God bless you for wanting to get into social work.
00:01:59.000 Yes, so my advice is that you need to challenge the orthodoxy of where social work has gone in the last couple of decades.
00:02:09.000 Social work has largely gone towards Making people comfortable in their poverty rather than trying to break them out of the poverty that they are in.
00:02:20.000 Those are two different things.
00:02:21.000 So as a social worker, it's gonna be very tough.
00:02:24.000 But people are going to be telling you, it's hard to go against everyone around you all the time.
00:02:30.000 Around you, they're going to say that the people are poor because of social conditions and systemic injustices, when in reality, people are poor because of the decisions that they make and because of the values that they either have or they do not have.
00:02:46.000 There is a wonderful book that I would recommend for you, and God bless you, Brandon, for wanting to be a social worker, by somewhat of a social worker himself, and he became a very, very famous author.
00:02:56.000 We had him on the show.
00:02:56.000 We should resurrect that episode.
00:02:58.000 It was terrific.
00:02:59.000 It was Theodore Dalrymple.
00:03:00.000 The book is Life at the Bottom, or Life from the Bottom, something like that, Life at the Bottom.
00:03:06.000 It's a terrific book where he describes how people remain poor and why they are poor in the underclass, if you will.
00:03:14.000 And so that's my recommendation, Brandon, is try to challenge the orthodoxy of not just trying to make people comfortable in their poverty, but trying to give them the training, the education necessary to break them out of poverty and to try to get them into the middle class and try to teach values, not just stuff.
00:03:32.000 And the issue with how we talk about poverty in this country, Is that people think it is solely and only a lack of material goods, when in reality, it is a lack of worldview and a lack of principles and core values.
00:03:46.000 Thank you, Brandon, for being a member.
00:03:48.000 Hope that made sense.
00:03:49.000 All right.
00:03:49.000 Thank you very much.
00:03:51.000 Next are two of my favorite people, Caleb and Michelle, great Americans.
00:03:51.000 You bet.
00:03:56.000 Thank you guys for being members.
00:03:58.000 As always, what's on your mind today, guys?
00:04:00.000 You're welcome, Charlie.
00:04:02.000 Hey, so, you know, being from Minnesota, we're talking about the VP selection.
00:04:08.000 I'm not sure how important it is, but I'm hearing two things.
00:04:12.000 I'm hearing, like, the Biden camp wants Shapiro and Obama wants Walls.
00:04:18.000 And I'm wondering if you think that the Dems are I'm kind of thinking they're worried about looking at Minnesota and the Muslim vote in the Somalis, that maybe they're worried about that.
00:04:30.000 Maybe they're worried a little bit about the state of Minnesota and that that's why they want to go with the governor for their VP pick.
00:04:38.000 I wonder what your thoughts on that are.
00:04:40.000 Yeah, it's a great question, guys.
00:04:41.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:04:42.000 So you're right, there are different camps that are forming on the VP selection.
00:04:49.000 The heavy favorite is Shapiro.
00:04:50.000 However, Shapiro will ignite a Hamas and Gaza problem.
00:04:55.000 And that is going to really start to cause some problems in Chicago at the DNC.
00:05:01.000 And based on all current activities that the Israeli government is executing right now in the Middle East, it does not seem that war is ending anytime soon in the Middle East.
00:05:11.000 So in the long term, the left is importing the seeds of their own coalition's destruction.
00:05:15.000 I think overall, Democrats have realized that Biden was alienating both sides.
00:05:20.000 And now they've decided just to win back moderates and Jews and tell the radicals to basically buzz off.
00:05:26.000 And basically they're saying, what are you going to do, vote for Trump?
00:05:28.000 Well, they might vote for Cornel West and his Muslim running mate in Michigan.
00:05:33.000 So there's some concern there.
00:05:35.000 According to the betting markets, again, Shapiro is the heavy favorite.
00:05:39.000 He probably makes the most sense.
00:05:40.000 He's probably the most talented.
00:05:41.000 I think he's kind of a dork, but he is talented, no doubt.
00:05:45.000 And he is well-liked in Pennsylvania.
00:05:48.000 The markets are all over the place, where 70% chance that Josh Shapiro, now Mark Kelly's in second place.
00:05:53.000 Andy Beshear is in third place.
00:05:56.000 Tim Walz is in fourth place.
00:05:57.000 I think Tim Walz is unlikely.
00:05:59.000 He's a party loyalist.
00:06:01.000 He's kind of a buffoon in some ways.
00:06:03.000 I think the most talented on the list is actually Andy Beshear.
00:06:07.000 I think Andy Beshear is by far the most talented guy on that list.
00:06:12.000 He won in Kentucky multiple times, which is a deep, deep red state.
00:06:16.000 I think Mark Kelly, He comes with the most amount of baggage, even though people think he comes with the most amount of benefits.
00:06:22.000 Astronaut, his wife was shot.
00:06:23.000 However, it's very, very well known that Mark Kelly has an open marriage with Gabby Giffords.
00:06:29.000 Ask any senator, they'll say Mark Kelly has a girlfriend and multiple girlfriends.
00:06:35.000 Not a great look, especially it's kind of this open marriage situation.
00:06:38.000 Not to mention the Chinese Communist Party spy balloon stuff.
00:06:42.000 Very, very troubling for him.
00:06:44.000 So the most likely pick is likely Josh Shapiro, which will solve two problems, but create two problems.
00:06:50.000 The two problems it solves, they will raise a lot of money and they'll do better in Pennsylvania.
00:06:53.000 How much better, we do not know.
00:06:55.000 It creates two problems though.
00:06:56.000 It will alienate younger voters that care a lot about the Hamas situation and will further alienate their Muslim base in Dearborn, Michigan and parts of Minnesota and a little bit of Wisconsin, but not so much.
00:07:08.000 Thanks so much, Kayla and Michelle.
00:07:09.000 Really appreciate it.
00:07:10.000 Manny will be next.
00:07:11.000 Manny, thank you for being a member.
00:07:12.000 What's on your mind?
00:07:13.000 Yeah, I was looking into all these intellectuals as yourself and, you know, Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, now JD Vance.
00:07:24.000 They're really referencing this, you know, dismal birth rate in the United States, right?
00:07:32.000 And how that's affecting Um, the culture, uh, within the US.
00:07:38.000 So my question is, how can we bring more awareness to this?
00:07:42.000 Because I think in my opinion, the Dems are just trying to shut it off and, and fix it with, uh, with illegal immigration, right?
00:07:49.000 Just open the borders and, and then they can, they can mask the problem.
00:07:54.000 But I'm, I'm, I'm scared that, uh, that, uh, the core, uh, the, the American experiment will be deleted.
00:08:02.000 Right.
00:08:02.000 And I'm a Cuban.
00:08:03.000 Right?
00:08:04.000 And I come from parents that had to leave everything to give us a better understanding of society and life and faith, right?
00:08:14.000 So what to do with this crazy, dismal birth rate, which could definitely be the demise of the American culture?
00:08:24.000 And how do we make people aware of it?
00:08:25.000 I mean, I see that you speak to it, so if you can enlighten me a bit, it would be fantastic.
00:08:31.000 Yes, so this is such an important topic.
00:08:33.000 First of all, we need to be very clear that we are the pro-family party and that we are in the midst of a fertility crisis, that the population is collapsing because we are not having our own children, that we are not having enough children at replacement levels.
00:08:48.000 And so the current very sick and perverted and twisted view of the ruling orthodoxy and regime is that we're not going to have our own children.
00:08:58.000 And instead, we are going to import the children of the third world, and we're going to prioritize foreigners over American-born.
00:09:04.000 And you know this as a Cuban-American, that that should concern you, is that you should want a native-born population to be able to sustain itself, and that if you bring newcomers to your country, they are additive and force multipliers to what you already have in your homeland population.
00:09:21.000 When JD Vance says that we want to have more children, the media attacks him.
00:09:24.000 And they say that that's an attack on childless Americans.
00:09:26.000 No, it's not.
00:09:27.000 We want to reverse the Fertility collapse.
00:09:31.000 And we are seeing a collapse in fertility rates in the West, and instead of importing other nations' children, we should have our own.
00:09:40.000 Manny, wonderful question.
00:09:41.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:09:42.000 Who do we have next, Daisy?
00:09:43.000 Let's see what we have here.
00:09:45.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:09:47.000 That is Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:09:49.000 By the way, when J.D.
00:09:50.000 Vance says parents should pay less in taxes, Democrats suddenly shriek that it's evil.
00:09:55.000 That is repugnant.
00:09:59.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:00.000 Thanks to the team at Hillsdale College, you can now watch an inspiring portrayal of Thomas Jefferson as he reflects on the meaning of the Declaration of Independence in a letter he wrote late in his life.
00:10:11.000 Watch this special short video at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:10:15.000 Since its founding in 1844, Hillsdale has remained true to its mission of offering the kind of education needed to preserve the blessings of liberty, the blessings that can be traced to the principles of the Declaration signed on July 4th.
00:10:28.000 At a time where the far left rejects the principles of liberty and equality, we must remind ourselves, our children, and our fellow citizens that those principles are the source of America's greatness and a treasure to be preserved.
00:10:39.000 I invite you today to visit charlie4hillsdale.com to watch Hillsdale's educational and inspiring video.
00:10:45.000 And you'll receive a free commemorative copy of the Declaration of Independence from my friends at Hillsdale.
00:10:52.000 But don't delay, this is a limited time offer.
00:10:54.000 Go to charlie4hillsdale.com as we forever and always celebrate Independence Day.
00:10:57.000 charlie4hillsdale.com Okay, I hope I pronounced this correctly.
00:11:04.000 Maishan, thank you for being a member.
00:11:07.000 Make sure you unmute yourself.
00:11:08.000 What is on your mind?
00:11:10.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:11:10.000 It's Maishan.
00:11:11.000 You did a good job pronouncing it.
00:11:14.000 My question has a little bit to do with the Project 25 leader stepping down and what you thought about that because isn't the Heritage Foundation a good organization that went to Davos and spoke against liberal globalists and their agendas?
00:11:28.000 I mean, isn't this the kind of people Trump should be supporting himself with?
00:11:32.000 Yeah, Heritage is great.
00:11:33.000 Here's all I can say about this.
00:11:35.000 The issue was more about personality conflict than policy conflict.
00:11:39.000 That's the buried lead of this whole thing, is that there was not enough communication and coordination between President Trump and the Heritage Foundation.
00:11:48.000 There was some great stuff in the Project 2025 document.
00:11:51.000 There was some stuff that, I don't know, I didn't read the whole thing.
00:11:54.000 There was some stuff that shouldn't necessarily have been ascribed to Trump's name.
00:11:57.000 Here was the biggest issue, though, Michonne, is that President Trump got very upset, and I think rightfully so, that he was going to have to answer questions about things, of positions he never took.
00:12:11.000 And that's where the issue really came.
00:12:13.000 And so my advice to the Heritage Foundation, both privately and publicly, and I think they do wonderful work, is that they should have done all this work of policy suggestions, executive orders, personnel, no need to publish it.
00:12:25.000 And also just try to work more in harmony with Trump's team.
00:12:30.000 That's really where things started to fall apart.
00:12:32.000 And President Trump was starting to get questions from journalists.
00:12:35.000 Where do you stand on these 10 different things?
00:12:36.000 And he'd say, I never took those positions.
00:12:38.000 So I see it from both sides there.
00:12:41.000 So thank you for being a member, but very good question, and I love Heritage.
00:12:46.000 They do great work.
00:12:47.000 Okay, Susan.
00:12:48.000 Susan, what is on your mind?
00:12:49.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:12:51.000 I saw your post about the summit security, that you didn't think it was well done.
00:12:58.000 Correct, yes.
00:13:01.000 I was there and it felt, as a participant, which it was an incredible summit.
00:13:06.000 Thank you so much.
00:13:07.000 It was life changing for me.
00:13:08.000 But I felt like the security when Trump was there was very good.
00:13:12.000 So tell me what I should be looking for in the future as far as any security issues that we should be aware of.
00:13:20.000 No, thank you, and I'm glad that it was from your perspective.
00:13:24.000 I say this as someone who has run in the event from backstage to flow of Trump from perimeter, and from an objective view, I'm sure it looked fine.
00:13:34.000 However, I could tell you that from 10 or 12 different instances of hosting Trump, Previously and comparing it and contrasting to what we saw this last weekend.
00:13:45.000 We saw a porous perimeter.
00:13:47.000 We saw people not getting checked people allowed to go backstage and just the lower head count and a man count.
00:13:52.000 And so again, that wasn't just my own opinion.
00:13:55.000 It was from interns to events staff that have gone through many Trump events and we have just this summer.
00:14:01.000 We hosted President Trump three times.
00:14:04.000 And so we have a fair amount to be able to compare that to.
00:14:07.000 But thank you, and you enjoyed the event.
00:14:09.000 Susan, is that right?
00:14:10.000 You enjoyed the Believer Summit?
00:14:12.000 It was truly life-changing.
00:14:13.000 It was truly life-changing for me.
00:14:14.000 The speakers that you had, I filled out the survey.
00:14:21.000 I could not think of a single negative critique.
00:14:25.000 Everything just, from my perspective, it was, I can't stop talking about it.
00:14:30.000 Well, thank you.
00:14:31.000 That's very touching, and I will send this over to our team.
00:14:35.000 So thank you.
00:14:36.000 Thank you.
00:14:37.000 I'm very proud of what the team pulled off, both Turning Point Action and TPUSA Faith.
00:14:41.000 Incredible weekend.
00:14:42.000 Believers Summit.
00:14:44.000 Kimberly is next.
00:14:45.000 Kimberly, make sure you unmute.
00:14:47.000 What is on your mind?
00:14:48.000 And how are you doing today?
00:14:49.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:14:51.000 Hey Charlie, I'm doing great.
00:14:53.000 Yeah, I just started reading your book, The Right-Wing Revolution, and it's so good, even the intro, especially that part about the shortcomings of conservative attitudes.
00:15:03.000 But yeah, I was just wondering, you're such a good speaker, what was like the hardest part about writing the book and then maybe like what was the most fulfilling?
00:15:12.000 Yeah, well, first of all, thank you.
00:15:13.000 And we had a great research team that helped put it together.
00:15:16.000 Blake was instrumental in the composition of it.
00:15:19.000 The hardest part was deciding what not to put in, because we have so many thoughts.
00:15:23.000 We have such a body of work.
00:15:25.000 We have so many different opinions and perspectives.
00:15:28.000 And then, honestly, trying to make an argument that is cogent and applicable, that will live just beyond a political season.
00:15:37.000 I'd say that was one of the more challenging things.
00:15:39.000 Is trying to make a series of hypotheses, but also contentions that will be timeless, that will not just live within an election cycle.
00:15:50.000 But people seem to really like the book.
00:15:52.000 I'm glad you're reading it.
00:15:53.000 People can get it.
00:15:55.000 Right Wing Revolution.
00:15:56.000 It was a bestseller in many categories and people can check it out.
00:15:59.000 So thank you so much.
00:16:00.000 Okay.
00:16:01.000 Who do we have?
00:16:02.000 Who do we have next here?
00:16:03.000 All right.
00:16:03.000 I'm going to just read Lucas's deal here.
00:16:07.000 Charlie, I very likely won't be able to unmute at the webinar.
00:16:09.000 There you go.
00:16:09.000 I did want to ask about a reading list, audible list.
00:16:12.000 I've gone through Unvanquished, Influence, Long Version, Blood Money, VDH.
00:16:15.000 Oh, wow, okay, he's doing the Hillsdale Online Courses.
00:16:18.000 Man's Search for Meaning, Gap in the Game, C.S.
00:16:20.000 Lewis Collection, The Warrior Poet Way, a lot of Mark Levin books, Breaking Biden, Gift of Failure, The Great Awakening.
00:16:27.000 Wow, you've really well read.
00:16:28.000 And as they keep on coming out and reading the Bible with my wife and her kids, I'm keeping time open for your book when it shows.
00:16:34.000 Looking forward to your suggestions.
00:16:35.000 God bless.
00:16:36.000 Yes, so actually let me take a look at some books I have here.
00:16:39.000 That's right, Darkness at Noon by Arthur Kessler is a great book.
00:16:43.000 Vishal Mangalwalde, right here, The Book That Made Your World.
00:16:46.000 By the way, these books are not just for show.
00:16:48.000 These are legit books that I read and I study.
00:16:51.000 Let's see here, what else we have?
00:16:52.000 Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker is a phenomenal book.
00:16:55.000 Let's see, I have some of the ones I just completed.
00:16:58.000 Oh yeah, Churchill's I enjoyed reading Outlive by Dr. Peter Attia, which is a non-political book, but all about the science of longevity.
00:17:13.000 Lucas Miles, who's now the new director at TPUSA Faith, is a great book.
00:17:17.000 The Christian Left have that one right there.
00:17:19.000 Very biased, but I think The College Scam is a great book.
00:17:21.000 Bill Federer's Rise of the Tyrant, always a really good one.
00:17:24.000 That is the best biography of Mao Zedong, by the way.
00:17:27.000 If you're able to get your hands on it, it's been largely memory hold.
00:17:29.000 I don't know if you guys can see.
00:17:31.000 Actually, you can see it in the shot there.
00:17:33.000 It is very good.
00:17:34.000 Who's the author of that again?
00:17:35.000 Actually, that's the second copy I still have in the original plastic, believe it or not.
00:17:39.000 Very hard to get.
00:17:41.000 And great book here on the early Church Fathers, A Year with the Church Fathers.
00:17:45.000 I'm only trying to recommend the good ones.
00:17:46.000 Oh yeah, Unoffendable is very good by Brant Hanson.
00:17:50.000 I'm reading another book called Willpower, all about the science of self-control.
00:17:54.000 Fascinating book.
00:17:55.000 Yeah, that's actually a really interesting one is Genius Foods by Max Lugavere.
00:17:59.000 It's a very easy read.
00:18:00.000 It's all about what he thinks are genius foods that if you eat these foods on a regular basis, less likely to have dementia, more mental acuity, more energy, less depression, less anxiety.
00:18:10.000 And it's good.
00:18:10.000 It's you can literally the whole if you buy the book and you just read the cover, it's a picture of all the books, which I think is Salmon, like fresh salmon, ground beef, but grass-fed beef, blueberries, avocados, olive oil, almonds, dark leafy greens.
00:18:28.000 Trying to think which other ones he has off the top of my head.
00:18:31.000 It's called Genius Foods.
00:18:34.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:19:33.000 Are you FF greens.com slash Kirk?
00:19:35.000 Okay.
00:19:39.000 We will go to, um, Michael, Michael, what is on your mind?
00:19:43.000 Thank you for your question.
00:19:44.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:19:46.000 What is on your mind?
00:19:46.000 All right.
00:19:47.000 I'll read this out myself since I screwed up last time.
00:19:50.000 It's a two-part question.
00:19:51.000 I'll make it as fast as I can.
00:19:52.000 I noticed your ground game in Ohio has started up.
00:19:54.000 Is there a contact for that, or do we just show up?
00:19:57.000 They're not posting events very far off.
00:19:59.000 Also, and this is piggybacking off what somebody else asked, I already went through all the Project 2025 stuff, and it's very disappointing to see what President Trump did, although I understand why it happened.
00:20:11.000 Do you know, because he's proven with JD Vance, he's willing to look outside the beltway.
00:20:16.000 Yes, on the Project 2025 thing, I just want to say again, it was a personality thing more than it was a policy thing.
00:20:26.000 But anyway, we already covered that.
00:20:28.000 So secondly, on finding people outside of the Beltway, yes, that if we are to win,
00:20:35.000 the transition team will be looking to source real talent from the American heartland, not just from the DC Beltway.
00:20:43.000 And that is going to be a legitimate project.
00:20:46.000 And it's going to take a lot of work, and it's gonna take a lot of effort.
00:20:49.000 It's gonna take a lot of focus to be able to do that.
00:20:51.000 As far as the ground game, here's my recommendation.
00:20:55.000 Get involved with Turning Point Action.
00:20:56.000 We'd love to connect you to tpaction.com.
00:21:00.000 That is tpaction.com.
00:21:02.000 But thank you for that question.
00:21:04.000 And look, as far as this time, I'm going to be more involved in the transition
00:21:09.000 if they want me, right?
00:21:10.000 If they'll have me.
00:21:11.000 I don't wanna make any broad claims or anything, but if they'll have me, I'll make some recommendations.
00:21:17.000 But I'm not even focused on the transition at all.
00:21:19.000 I'm only focused on one thing, which is winning, and then we can figure out how to properly transition.
00:21:25.000 But the Project 2025 thing was not even on the merits.
00:21:28.000 It was just the way that they went about things that really annoyed Trump that caused this whole thing to fall apart.
00:21:33.000 All right, thanks so much.
00:21:34.000 Okay, let's go to Tom.
00:21:35.000 Tom, thank you for being a member.
00:21:37.000 What's on your mind?
00:21:38.000 Hey, Charlie, it's Tom from Pennsylvania.
00:21:40.000 Thanks for all you're doing here.
00:21:42.000 PA Chase is awesome.
00:21:44.000 I'm involved.
00:21:45.000 Very optimistic.
00:21:46.000 I love it!
00:21:47.000 But not talking any landslide talks here.
00:21:54.000 So, I'd like to ask you, how are you having any success in the area of Christians who are still either apathetic or simply don't think their vote matters?
00:22:08.000 I know you talk about that quite often, but recently, have you had any success in that area?
00:22:14.000 And what arguments are turning their hearts?
00:22:19.000 What a beautiful question.
00:22:20.000 So first, Tom, I want to ask you a question, then I'm going to answer that directly.
00:22:23.000 What part of Pennsylvania are you from?
00:22:25.000 And secondly, does it feel better on the ground than it did in 2020 as far as the vibe and the perspective of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania?
00:22:35.000 Oh, that's a great question.
00:22:36.000 I'm in northeastern Pennsylvania, so the Pocono Mountains.
00:22:40.000 It's really a lot of people from New York have migrated to this part of Pennsylvania.
00:22:46.000 So, that being said, it's a little bit of an uphill battle.
00:22:49.000 It's a blue county, but we are having success with, even with our local committee.
00:22:55.000 We pretty much, I'm the vice chair now, and we took over that committee, so we are making traction Because the MAGA spirit, I guess you could say it, is alive and well.
00:23:08.000 So I'm optimistic, like I said earlier, but I know there's a lot of work to do.
00:23:14.000 The doors I've knocked on, the number one, well, number one, two, and three seems to be people's economic situation.
00:23:23.000 So they're bringing that up and, you know, they're low propensity voters because I can't waste my time on arguing with people to change their minds, right?
00:23:34.000 So they're... Bingo.
00:23:35.000 You're a smart man.
00:23:37.000 That's right.
00:23:37.000 That's right.
00:23:38.000 No, I'm sorry to interrupt you.
00:23:40.000 The chase operation is that your time is better spent, Tom, finding people that are lazy or disengaged than just trying to persuade a suburban soccer mom who might have a hundred different questions and is a maybe after that conversation.
00:23:57.000 That is not the best use of your time.
00:23:59.000 Exactly.
00:24:00.000 And so that is not the best use of your time.
00:24:04.000 But yes, to answer your question, as far as the Christians go, you must challenge them biblically and say, first and foremost, God cares about everything you do.
00:24:14.000 And secondly, do you think it's important that we have a government which impacts whether or not we can have church that allows us to say that the church is not non-essential like they did during COVID?
00:24:27.000 Secondly, you need to scare them that Kamala Harris will deploy the Department of Justice and the IRS like she did in California As the California Attorney General, after Christians, after people of faith, she will use them as the secret police and as the Gestapo and as the Red Guard to go after pro-lifers, to go after clinics that are pro-life, pregnancy crisis center clinics.
00:24:51.000 And yes, I think it is disappointing That people of faith who will profess to be people of faith will not vote, will not be engaged.
00:24:59.000 But that's where, Tom, your energy is best spent.
00:25:02.000 It's best spent on Christians who are disengaged to bring them back into the fold or into the fold for the first time than just pure persuasion.
00:25:10.000 I hope that's helpful, Tom.
00:25:11.000 But the most important thing is that you're charming, that you are sincere, and that you say you challenge people personally.
00:25:18.000 It takes 10 minutes to vote.
00:25:19.000 If that, you fill out the piece of paper that arrives to your house.
00:25:23.000 Just do the thing.
00:25:24.000 Thank you, Tom.
00:25:25.000 Really appreciate it.
00:25:26.000 Thank you, Charlie.

00:26:34.000 Let's go to Christian.
00:26:35.000 What is on your mind?
00:26:36.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:26:37.000 Thank you so much.
00:26:38.000 So we were at the People's Convention.
00:26:41.000 We had an absolutely amazing time.
00:26:43.000 We are the couple that drove up from Florida.
00:26:46.000 So it was quite a trip for us.
00:26:48.000 And we had great time.
00:26:50.000 It's the first time we've seen Trump in person.
00:26:53.000 It was beyond my expectations.
00:26:58.000 But my question is regarding Secret Service and security.
00:27:01.000 So the day that Trump was there, We waited two and a half hours in line.
00:27:07.000 I know there was an issue with, you know, there was a small breach.
00:27:10.000 They had to re-sweep the area.
00:27:12.000 It seemed like, kind of similar to what someone else said about the Believer Summit, it seemed like security was on top of issues.
00:27:21.000 And when we were in the members room being escorted to the main hall, there was another person that had kind of come up and Secret Service was right on top of it.
00:27:28.000 Why are you here?
00:27:29.000 How did you get through?
00:27:30.000 This shouldn't have happened.
00:27:32.000 My question is, was there an event between the People's Convention and the attempted assassination that maybe, you know, was there a difference in the security or do you feel like the People's Convention was also pretty lax security?
00:27:50.000 So that's such a great question.
00:27:52.000 The People's Convention was far better staffed and far better than the Believers' Summit.
00:27:57.000 But the fact that you think that it was well protected means the Secret Service did their job.
00:28:02.000 Because the more and more we are learning about the Secret Service through all of these congressional hearings, is the Secret Service basically acts as a pretend security operation to trick would-be assailants into thinking the protectee is actually safe.
00:28:18.000 And People's was actually an example of them sort of doing their job, but they didn't communicate with local police.
00:28:24.000 The local police didn't guard a door for people with backpacks came in.
00:28:29.000 But understand, this is largely a deterrent.
00:28:32.000 The Secret Service is actually not keeping people safe the way you think they are.
00:28:36.000 Sometimes, of course, they are.
00:28:37.000 But it is mainly a deterrent.
00:28:39.000 They look like they know what they're doing.
00:28:41.000 They slow things down.
00:28:43.000 The Secret Service is becoming kind of like the TSA.
00:28:46.000 The TSA doesn't catch nearly a majority of the contraband that people try to bring through airports.
00:28:52.000 And the Secret Service is very similar.
00:28:54.000 And it's being exposed as largely a theatrical organization that has a lot of good people in it
00:29:00.000 and a lot of heroic people, but they're actually not keeping the protectee
00:29:04.000 or the subject safe.
00:29:06.000 But yes, at the People's Convention, the People's Convention is a perfect example
00:29:12.000 of them not coordinating with local police because local police was supposed to guard a door
00:29:17.000 and someone came in, didn't happen.
00:29:19.000 But even at the People's Convention, we said afterwards, that was not as well staffed as it should have been backstage.
00:29:25.000 We were very worried.
00:29:27.000 In fact, I did an interview at the People's Convention, fearing that Donald Trump would be shot and assassinated sometime soon.
00:29:33.000 And unfortunately, we were right about him getting shot.
00:29:35.000 And thankfully, we were wrong about him being successfully assassinated.
00:29:39.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:29:41.000 Really appreciate it.
00:29:42.000 Jeff, what is on your mind?
00:29:43.000 Thank you so much for all you do.
00:29:45.000 I'm a new member, actually, and I just am so grateful for all the work that Turning Point does.
00:29:53.000 You really make a huge difference.
00:29:55.000 Get to my question.
00:29:58.000 I have seen on X and some other places that, I don't know if it's just a rumor, that Kevin McCarthy's being considered as, if Trump wins, which I assume he will, I hope he will, he would choose Kevin McCarthy as his chief of staff.
00:30:14.000 And that's very disturbing to me if that's true.
00:30:17.000 I just wonder, do you know anything?
00:30:19.000 Is that true?
00:30:21.000 Have you heard that rumor?
00:30:22.000 And if it's true, would you try to talk Trump out of that selection?
00:30:27.000 Yeah, look, so I don't think that would be the best selection.
00:30:31.000 I've always gotten along with Kevin, so I'm not going to be totally negative.
00:30:34.000 I don't think that would be the right choice.
00:30:35.000 I have not heard that, though, at all from anybody.
00:30:38.000 I have heard people like Lee Zeldin, who I think would be great, who I think really understands Washington, and I think he would just be terrific.
00:30:44.000 I think Vivek Ramaswamy would be terrific if it wasn't for him to be the head of the Department of Homeland Security.
00:30:49.000 Vivek, I think, in a leadership role in the White House would just be excellent.
00:30:54.000 Look, you do need insider knowledge, but you need to have the work ethic and the capacity to be able to do the job.
00:31:02.000 You need to be goal-oriented, driven people, and the most important thing for Chief of Staff is you must not desire to be on television.
00:31:10.000 It's so tempting.
00:31:11.000 You're the chief of staff.
00:31:12.000 You can get any interview you want.
00:31:14.000 You have to want to be a backroom operator and be really good at it.
00:31:19.000 And so, somebody that shares Trump's vision, someone who trusts him and is able to get stuff done.
00:31:25.000 He needs someone below him who doesn't crave the spotlight, just wants to get wins, will work late, will be there early, will be a humble servant, will be able to just ignore the media, and you have a press shop for a press shop.
00:31:36.000 And also know who to trust and who to distrust.
00:31:40.000 All right, appreciate that question very much and good job unmuting.
00:31:43.000 Okay, who do we have next?
00:31:44.000 It's the last question probably.
00:31:46.000 Laura, you'll be the last question.
00:31:48.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com, what's on your mind?
00:31:51.000 Well, so I'm sitting here and I sent you that note about Acts 17.
00:31:56.000 I want you to really look into it.
00:31:57.000 You remind me of a Paul and how he had to go in and change people's minds and
00:32:03.000 hearts. And so I just feel that you and your staff and all of these kids, you guys are doing a fantastic
00:32:11.000 job. You've been doing the Lord's work.
00:32:14.000 And then I wanted to ask you about, I have lots of grandsons and granddaughters, and I want to
00:32:20.000 know how I can get them involved in watching you or what I can do to help them become more active
00:32:29.000 in what you are doing.
00:32:30.000 Because I have two seven-year-old grandsons that will be going to college in two years.
00:32:35.000 Well, first of all, thank you for being a member, and thank you for those kind words.
00:32:39.000 Comparing our movement to Paul is very touching.
00:32:42.000 I just hope it ends better than decapitation, but thank you.
00:32:47.000 I do appreciate that.
00:32:48.000 No, I'm saying that tongue-in-cheek.
00:32:51.000 No, no, no, of course not.
00:32:52.000 You are being so sweet and so nice.
00:32:55.000 So yes, the best way, get them involved with Turning Point USA, and then tell them to check us out on TikTok, on Instagram.
00:33:05.000 We are very, very viral on these platforms.
00:33:07.000 Say, hey, have you ever heard of this Charlie Kirk guy?
00:33:09.000 You should follow him on social media.
00:33:11.000 Follow us on YouTube.
00:33:12.000 Follow us on Rumble.
00:33:13.000 All these different platforms.
00:33:15.000 And we are very unique.
00:33:17.000 The team has done such a great job.
00:33:18.000 Daisy and Emma and Ryan and Riley.
00:33:21.000 I'm forgetting some people, but the whole tech team, we are dominant on all the social media platforms.
00:33:28.000 Andrew does a great job.
00:33:29.000 Yes, Andrew, you do a great job.
00:33:33.000 Okay, but to be able to have full spectrum dominance on social media in particular, very, very important to be able to be aware that we reach people of all ages and all backgrounds.
00:33:45.000 Laura, thank you for closing us out so strong, and thank you.
00:33:48.000 God bless you.
00:33:49.000 People like you make the world a better place.
00:33:51.000 I love our members.
00:33:52.000 You guys are the best.
00:33:53.000 I wish I could get to all the questions.
00:33:54.000 We'll do that next week, and also, of course, join a Turning Point USA chapter.
