00:01:36.000 We're going to start with some written questions today.
00:01:39.000 Charlie, where would you recommend for new Christians to start when it comes to studying the Bible, reading books, question mark, etc.?
00:01:50.000 Phenomenal question.
00:01:51.000 So first and foremost, read the actual Bible itself.
00:01:55.000 I know that sounds to be a simple answer, but reading the Word of God will never turn void.
00:02:01.000 Secondly, and this is a great opportunity to segue, Ryan, can you find the John MacArthur clip recently, please?
00:02:09.000 Bible Commentary.
00:02:10.000 So if you are a baby Christian or a new Christian, awesome, praise the Lord.
00:02:14.000 There's something called commentaries.
00:02:17.000 Commentaries are written by theologians or pastors where they go verse by verse and chapter by chapter and offer commentary and explanation on what you are reading.
00:02:29.000 John MacArthur, who is a phenomenal person and just amazing.
00:02:36.000 He has Grace to You Ministries.
00:02:39.000 He is one of the most disciplined and thoughtful and impactful fighters for Christ of
00:02:48.000 era. Just a wonderful human being.
00:02:50.000 I've had the opportunity to speak with him on our program.
00:02:54.000 John MacArthur has some of the best Bible commentaries that...
00:03:02.000 John, I have almost all the MacArthur commentaries on almost every book of the Bible, just the one, the book of John.
00:03:10.000 Now, that might be a little bit heavy for some folks, but I would encourage you to work through other supplementary texts that are biblical that can help fasten your faith.
00:03:26.000 Anything written by C.S. Lewis.
00:03:28.000 Mere Christianity.
00:03:31.000 Read in harmony and in parallel to reading the Bible is terrific.
00:03:38.000 Anything by Lee Strobel, especially Case for Christ, talks a lot about apologetics.
00:03:45.000 It will give you more firm foundation for your faith.
00:03:49.000 And then, of course, my friend Dennis Prager, who continue your prayers for Dennis Prager, by the way.
00:03:54.000 I visited Dennis Prager in the hospital last week.
00:03:58.000 And he's fighting very hard.
00:04:00.000 He's making significant progress.
00:04:02.000 He is in a much better position than he was back when I saw him in December.
00:04:10.000 He's in a far better position.
00:04:12.000 But still, keep that legend in your prayers.
00:04:15.000 He wrote something called the Rational Bible.
00:04:17.000 Genesis, Exodus.
00:04:19.000 He hasn't yet published Leviticus, but I told him in the hospital, you better get that last of the...
00:04:26.000 of the Bible commentary series done, and he was very supportive of that.
00:04:31.000 He has Numbers and then Deuteronomy.
00:04:33.000 Genesis, written by Dennis Prager, is a game-changer.
00:04:37.000 And then finally, find some Bible-based podcasts and podcasters.
00:04:43.000 You can listen to this program, but everything we do is through a biblical lens, but it is not necessarily every day we're doing devotionals.
00:04:50.000 I would also point you to the great Alan Jackson.
00:04:53.000 Alan Jackson at alanjackson.com is a phenomenal partner of this program and is someone where you guys can go to alanjackson.com, A-L-L-E-N, and become part of his ever-growing community.
00:05:06.000 So that's just off the top of my head.
00:05:08.000 Also, of course, the phenomenal and legendary Jack Hibbs.
00:05:13.000 Jack Hibbs.
00:05:14.000 I'm actually going to be at Jack Hibbs Church a week from Wednesday, so I could just go on and on and on.
00:05:18.000 But the more seriously you take your faith, The deeper your journey will be, the more profound with splendor and glory and joy you will have that experience.
00:05:31.000 And guys, I was talking about the John MacArthur clip recently where John MacArthur was unable to make a conference in Georgia and admitted his health is not doing very well.
00:05:41.000 So if you could find that clip, I do want to play that as a little bit of a hat tip to the legendary John MacArthur.
00:05:47.000 You guys can find it on X. Okay.
00:05:49.000 Let's go to this one.
00:05:50.000 Cameron says, Charlie, couldn't come to your event in Tennessee, but want to know how it was.
00:05:58.000 Looked like a huge crowd.
00:05:59.000 It was probably the best we've ever had.
00:06:02.000 Tied for first, I would say, with the University of Georgia.
00:06:06.000 Now understand, it's a very difficult thing.
00:06:08.000 If we could put up some of the pictures of the University of Tennessee stuff.
00:06:11.000 It's a very difficult technical thing.
00:06:13.000 And if I could just brag on the amazing Turning Point USA team.
00:06:17.000 I hope you understand that these events just don't come ex nihilo.
00:06:20.000 They don't just come out of nothing.
00:06:21.000 These events take planning, administrative red tape navigating.
00:06:26.000 Our chapters are forming them.
00:06:28.000 It's not just Charlie Kirk shows up two days ahead of time.
00:06:30.000 And our staff is the best on the planet.
00:06:33.000 By the way, same with Visual Impulse and the entire team that does all of the camera editing from the security team.
00:06:41.000 I mean, it is a full-fledged operation.
00:06:44.000 I have the easy part.
00:06:45.000 I just show up and I take some questions.
00:06:47.000 But from the travel logistics, to finding the space, to the time, to the entry, to the amplification needs, I mean, you look at that, it looks simple.
00:06:55.000 It is anything but simple.
00:06:56.000 But it was a really amazing event, largely because of the venue.
00:07:01.000 You see, at Florida State, it was great, but most of the kids left because I'm sitting at a table, I can only look at maybe a thousand kids.
00:07:10.000 Where the...
00:07:12.000 At University of Tennessee, it was an amphitheater, and I was able to look at like 3,000 people all at once.
00:07:17.000 Oh, it was magical.
00:07:18.000 It was one of the greatest events I have ever done in my 13-year career.
00:07:22.000 The answers to questions seemed to just really be hitting.
00:07:26.000 The questions were thoughtful.
00:07:27.000 The people were intense.
00:07:28.000 It was fabulous.
00:07:30.000 And very, very thankful for the Turning Point USA team.
00:07:32.000 And by the way, you should start a Turning Point USA chapter.
00:07:35.000 If you're a student out there, if you want to get involved, if you want to help save your country and save your campus, You could start it today at tpusa.com.
00:07:43.000 Okay, Ashton.
00:07:45.000 Ashton, thank you for being a member.
00:07:46.000 Ashton, what is on your mind?
00:07:48.000 And please unmute yourself.
00:07:50.000 They can hear me?
00:07:50.000 Ashton, yes.
00:07:51.000 How are you?
00:07:52.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:07:53.000 Awesome.
00:07:53.000 Thank you.
00:07:54.000 Yeah, I just had a real quick question.
00:07:56.000 So just for people, I mean, I consider myself more of a strict constitutionalist, you know, believing that just the Constitution is the law of the land and that kind of general viewpoint.
00:08:05.000 What would you say is the best way to kind of communicate that when you're talking with people who would be more like performing a big government, specifically when people are like bringing forth the argument that the country is so big now, there's so many people, that it's too large to just be governed by the Constitution and then sort of the three branches of government that you need to have more of these federal agencies involved in that process?
00:08:27.000 Yeah, so it's a good question.
00:08:30.000 The person who's asking it doesn't understand human nature.
00:08:33.000 So the Constitution was not written for the times.
00:08:36.000 It was written to stand the test of time.
00:08:39.000 The Constitution, first and foremost, alongside the Declaration, and Dr. Larry Arnn in his book, The Founder's Key, talks about this, that the Declaration and the Constitution are one document in the same, is first and foremost an analysis, an argument on human nature.
00:08:55.000 It was...
00:08:56.000 About the order of things, as the classics would say.
00:08:58.000 You see, every founding father was studied in the classics of Socrates and Plato and Aristotle and Aquinas.
00:09:04.000 They knew their great ideas and their great thinkers.
00:09:08.000 So the Constitution has eternal truth within it.
00:09:11.000 The eternal truth that not one man should govern.
00:09:14.000 The Constitution spreads power over time, and it spreads power over land.
00:09:23.000 In fact, it gives states rights.
00:09:24.000 It diffuses power in very unique ways.
00:09:28.000 So, Ashlyn, I'm not able to kind of give you the entire Constitution speech that I would like to for the sake of time, but here's what I can direct you to, is that the best of all the Hillsdale online courses is the Hillsdale online course Intro to the Constitution.
00:09:43.000 In fact, Ryan can attest to this.
00:09:44.000 I have been studying it again the last couple of days.
00:09:48.000 I re-listen and re-take the Hillsdale online course on Constitution 101 once a year.
00:09:55.000 And Ashton, you'll realize the profundity and the brilliance of what our Founding Fathers authored.
00:10:02.000 Because in order to have a free government, you must have a form and a structure that respects and responds to the idea that liberty is not man's idea, but it is God's idea.
00:10:15.000 The Constitution is the greatest political document ever written.
00:10:18.000 And it is the longest lasting of its kind, by the way, because it was not just written for, oh, what happened in 1780, but for human beings everywhere.
00:10:26.000 That is why the First Amendment does not just apply to writing letters across the Atlantic, but it also applies to tweets that you send out or Facebook posts.
00:10:35.000 Because human nature does not change, even though times do.
00:10:40.000 Want to know why your New Year's weight loss resolutions keep failing?
00:10:44.000 Here's the shocking truth.
00:10:45.000 It might be your sleep.
00:10:47.000 A fascinating study found that poor sleep can reduce fat loss by 55% and increase muscle loss by 60% even when you're eating right.
00:10:57.000 But here's the good news.

00:11:41.000 You guys should independently do some research on magnesium.
00:11:44.000 Unlike other magnesium supplements, this is specifically formulated for maximum absorption.
00:11:50.000 I'm a big believer in making sure I get magnesium in my daily regimen.
00:11:54.000 Go to magbreakthrough.com slash Kirk.
00:11:57.000 That is magbreakthrough.com slash Kirk.
00:12:02.000 Okay, everybody, I want to play this piece of tape.
00:12:04.000 Here's a message from the legendary John MacArthur.
00:12:07.000 We cut just a minute of his message.
00:12:09.000 I feel it's necessary to do this.
00:12:12.000 I just love his joy and his spirit.
00:12:16.000 He basically acknowledges that he had a tough time at the hospital.
00:12:20.000 His health is not great.
00:12:21.000 What a great example for all of us to finish the fight well.
00:12:24.000 And you, sir, Pastor MacArthur, are finishing the fight well.
00:12:27.000 What he did during COVID was courageous.
00:12:30.000 It was wonderful.
00:12:31.000 It set a standard.
00:12:32.000 This guy is as good as it gets.
00:12:34.000 Honored to be able to say I've spoken to him.
00:12:36.000 Play cut 274.
00:12:38.000 I want to say grace to you, all of you who are at the Shepherds Conference.
00:12:44.000 For me, it's the highlight of the year.
00:12:47.000 So you have to know my disappointment in coming to you through video.
00:12:52.000 It really came down to being the only option because I haven't had such a...
00:13:00.000 I feel great.
00:13:04.000 I just lost a lot of strength by being seven weeks in the hospital.
00:13:13.000 I realize I'm on the last lap.
00:13:17.000 That takes on a new meaning when you know you're on the short end of the candle.
00:13:24.000 But I am all thanks and praise to God.
00:13:28.000 For everything He's allowed me to be a part of and everything He's accomplished by His Word in these years of ministry.
00:13:38.000 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
00:13:45.000 Amen.
00:13:46.000 That is beautiful.
00:13:48.000 And very sad.
00:13:49.000 But he's not sad because he says, I'm on my last lap.
00:13:54.000 What a beautiful message to us all.
00:13:56.000 The guy's a legend.
00:13:58.000 A legend.
00:13:59.000 I'm telling you, what he has done for the kingdom, finished the race.
00:14:03.000 It is unprecedented in the modern era.
00:14:06.000 I'm telling you, the books he has published, the scholarship that he has written, we'll do a whole program honoring John MacArthur.
00:14:13.000 I'm positive of that.
00:14:14.000 Okay.
00:14:15.000 I had to do that.
00:14:16.000 Let's go to Brad.
00:14:17.000 Brad, thank you for being a member.
00:14:18.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:14:19.000 What is on your mind?
00:14:21.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:14:22.000 Thank you for all the work that you're doing everywhere.
00:14:25.000 Fantastic stuff.
00:14:27.000 I've got a high schooler nearby who wants to start a chapter, and he has approached a couple of teachers that he thought might be conservative.
00:14:39.000 It's interesting that there's only one or two that he can identify because this is one of the most conservative counties in Colorado.
00:14:49.000 What county?
00:14:50.000 But he's having trouble finding a sponsor.
00:14:54.000 Both have declined.
00:14:57.000 Because they're fearful of reprisal from other staff.
00:15:00.000 So what would you suggest?
00:15:02.000 How can he move forward?
00:15:04.000 What county is he in?
00:15:06.000 I'm just curious.
00:15:07.000 Douglas County in Colorado.
00:15:09.000 Okay.
00:15:09.000 So a couple things.
00:15:10.000 Number one, obviously don't give up.
00:15:13.000 Number two, though, this is largely why at our high school program we are renaming and rebranding the Turning Point High School chapters, which will still be that in practice.
00:15:24.000 to calling them Club America.
00:15:26.000 It'll be a lot harder for high school teachers to deny them.
00:15:29.000 I think you can resonate the wisdom behind that, and the high school department has been pushing for that for a while.
00:15:35.000 And it's nothing against Turning Point, but you get it.
00:15:38.000 You're 15, 16 years old.
00:15:39.000 These teachers are skittish.
00:15:40.000 And so they will be Club America chapters brought to you by Turning Point USA, which I think is brilliant.
00:15:45.000 And it'll be a lot harder for these teachers to kind of say no to that.
00:15:48.000 I wish I had better advice other than he has a constitutional right.
00:15:54.000 to charter a chapter of his choosing.
00:15:57.000 I think he should appeal to the administration, appeal to somebody, say, hey, can just some teacher sign on to this?
00:16:03.000 And this is a culture of intimidation.
00:16:06.000 Our Turning Point USA young patriots, they experience this on a daily basis.
00:16:11.000 But I'd love to send a note of encouragement to him and also maybe a signed book.
00:16:18.000 Last thing I'll say is this, is that even if it doesn't work out, The process and the difficulty that he has to experience will mature him and will make him a better, stronger young man as he grows up.
00:16:34.000 Meaning this will be a phenomenal experience for him.
00:16:38.000 Absolutely.
00:16:40.000 I'm sorry, please.
00:16:41.000 Oh, just totally agreeing.
00:16:43.000 Absolutely.
00:16:44.000 That struggle is going to instill in him drive and perseverance.
00:16:50.000 And make him a better man.
00:16:53.000 And I will reiterate this.
00:16:56.000 There is a great quote at Hillsdale College but it's not their quote but they use it.
00:17:00.000 Strength rejoices in the challenge.
00:17:04.000 So tell him that in the challenge you should be rejoicing.
00:17:09.000 This will make you understand the world is not an easy place with safe spaces and cookies and milk and trigger warnings.
00:17:16.000 And even if it doesn't work out He'll have a great Turning Point USA community.
00:17:20.000 And finally, we'd love to have him come to our Student Action Summit coming up in July.
00:17:25.000 It's going to be huge.

00:18:34.000 Jennifer, what is on your mind?
00:18:36.000 Jennifer, thanks for being a member.
00:18:37.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:18:40.000 I'm Jewish and also a believer in Jesus, and I'm going home to New York to visit my family.
00:18:46.000 All of my family members are Jewish and very left on the political spectrum, and I am very far right, and I'm the only believer.
00:18:54.000 And I'm unsure how to navigate the waters.
00:18:57.000 It's been a year since I've been home, and obviously a lot has changed, so I feel like I'm going into hostile territory.
00:19:06.000 And I wish to make a good impression for my faith.
00:19:11.000 Well, first of all, God bless you.
00:19:13.000 And so let me ask you, are you visiting first your parents?
00:19:19.000 And number two, okay, because that matters.
00:19:22.000 That's not just cousins, because the Bible is very clear about how you deal with parents versus just other random relatives.
00:19:29.000 So I'm going to comment on that from a biblical perspective.
00:19:32.000 And then number two.
00:19:34.000 Are they either serious about their faith and or do they care about Israel?
00:19:39.000 Great questions.
00:19:41.000 They are not serious about their faith.
00:19:43.000 It's more of the traditional Jewish background, cultural.
00:19:46.000 New Yorkers grew up in New York City.
00:19:49.000 And they do care about Israel, but it's nothing I ever knew of growing up.
00:19:56.000 I didn't know what Israel was, so obviously it wasn't that big on the...
00:20:01.000 On the importance list.
00:20:03.000 And my brother will also be there.
00:20:06.000 And he is not concerned, I don't think.
00:20:09.000 He's just more political than...
00:20:11.000 They've been watching mainstream media for 70 years.
00:20:14.000 So here is my take.
00:20:17.000 Number one is that I would try to have some baseline and say, look, we're not going to do any politics.
00:20:23.000 Now, that might not be well received.
00:20:27.000 And let me tell you why, especially with your parents.
00:20:29.000 As you know in the Ten Commandments, the fifth commandment is honor your mother and father so that you may live long in the land of which you are in.
00:20:36.000 We are called to honor our parents.
00:20:38.000 It doesn't say, hey, only honor them if you have the same politics or only honor them if you see the world the same way.
00:20:46.000 But number two, as someone who has also found Yeshua, Jesus Christ, if that does come up, It says in the scriptures, be equipped to have an answer if you are questioned, but do so in love and constantly try to diffuse.
00:21:03.000 If there's provocation, say, guys, I'm not here to debate.
00:21:06.000 I'm not here to, you know, have a combative thing.
00:21:09.000 Let's have a sweet time together.
00:21:11.000 I honor you as my parents, and let's find other things to talk about.
00:21:15.000 At the same time, if you feel comfortable, because, look, In some Jewish households, they're notoriously known for having very contentious discussions.
00:21:27.000 In fact, there's a very good argument to be made.
00:21:31.000 I got this from Yaron Brook, actually, from the Ayn Rand Institute, even though I think he's wrong on a lot of stuff.
00:21:36.000 Very smart point, and he's Israeli.
00:21:39.000 He once said one of the reasons why Jewish kids tend to be a little more advanced when it comes to reading and writing is because...
00:21:46.000 You sit at the table at the age of two or three at a Jewish meal, and you have to defend your position and your point, and if not, your uncle would just say, that's stupid.
00:21:56.000 You almost have to reason at a young age.
00:21:58.000 I don't know if you can sympathize with that or not, Jennifer.
00:22:00.000 Yes, I can.
00:22:01.000 Yes, and so it's built into Jewish culture that you better come with a good idea and a good argument.
00:22:08.000 If not, the adult will not just treat you as a kid.
00:22:11.000 You've got to really kind of fasten and sharpen your reason.
00:22:16.000 So, Jennifer, I'm going to pray for you.
00:22:18.000 I know that this is very difficult, but the Lord is with you.
00:22:22.000 And read your Bible going into that situation.
00:22:24.000 And I'll leave you with a Bible verse.
00:22:26.000 1 Corinthians 16, 13. Be on guard, stand firm in the faith, and be courageous and be strong.
00:22:32.000 And Jennifer, send me an email how it goes, and maybe the Holy Spirit will be at work.
00:22:36.000 God bless you.
00:22:37.000 Thank you.
00:22:38.000 All right, Anthony.
00:22:39.000 Anthony, what is on your mind?
00:22:40.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:22:41.000 What's up?
00:22:42.000 Hey Charlie, what's going on?
00:22:43.000 So I have a question because not many people understand what goes on in New York.
00:22:47.000 Trump is meeting with Hochul today, our governor, and I know one of the things on the docket is this pipeline that goes through the New England states that he wants to have come through New York to help lower costs by $5,000 a month or a year, whatever it came out to be.
00:23:00.000 The issue is Hochul and the previous governor, Cuomo, have made sure that no fracking, no pipelines will come through.
00:23:08.000 And come next year, Any new houses built in New York State cannot have natural gas hookup.
00:23:13.000 And then a couple years later, new buildings can't have natural gas hookup.
00:23:17.000 So how does the EPA and how can Trump do anything to override all these?
00:23:23.000 And I know they're state level, but what can they do?
00:23:26.000 Because New York has a ton of natural gas.
00:23:28.000 Yes, it does.
00:23:29.000 It's a great question.
00:23:31.000 Look, if a state doesn't want to frack, it is going to be a state's right decision.
00:23:36.000 However, and it is a big however.
00:23:39.000 There's a fair amount, and this is where I think Trump has some leverage, of national forest in New York, if I'm not mistaken.
00:23:47.000 So I don't know if it's all state forest or national forest, but national forest is, of course, governed by the Department of Interior.
00:23:56.000 So the Adirondack Mountains, I think, is largely state-governed.
00:24:02.000 Correct.
00:24:03.000 Yes, because it's a state park.
00:24:04.000 I think there are some national forests nearby.
00:24:07.000 I could be wrong.
00:24:08.000 With that being said, is that Kathy Hochul should rescind the moratorium on fracking because it would create so many jobs for the people in New York.
00:24:16.000 Look at what's happening in Pennsylvania, and I think it is an insult and a tragedy that New York is not doing the same thing.
00:24:22.000 Anthony, thanks so much.
00:24:23.000 Really appreciate it.
00:24:24.000 Let's go to the war on liquid natural gas.
00:24:27.000 It's just unbelievable.
00:24:29.000 Christine, thank you for being a member.
00:24:31.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:24:32.000 What's on your mind?
00:24:33.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:24:34.000 I was super happy to be at AmFest in December.
00:24:37.000 It was an absolutely electric time.
00:24:40.000 I am originally from Pennsylvania, and I have lived in northern Arizona for over 30 years.
00:24:45.000 When I first moved here, the state was red, and in 30 years it has gone south.
00:24:53.000 Is Scott Pressler available to leave Wisconsin and come to Maricopa County and help us out?
00:25:01.000 Well, yeah.
00:25:02.000 I mean, we also have Turning Point here as well.
00:25:04.000 No, I know.
00:25:05.000 I know.
00:25:06.000 I know.
00:25:06.000 I mean, you guys are amazing in everything you're doing.
00:25:09.000 I am blown away by what you've created in such a short amount of time.
00:25:14.000 But what can we do to get fair elections within that county, which tends to turn the entire state?
00:25:22.000 Yeah, well, first I will say there is hope.
00:25:23.000 And I agree with you that it has gone south and we need to kind of turn this around.
00:25:27.000 But let's look at everything that we accomplished.
00:25:30.000 This last cycle, it was President Trump's best ever performance in the state of Arizona, a five and a half point victory, almost 200,000 votes over Kamala Harris.
00:25:40.000 We are full speed ahead to win back the governor's race, the attorney general and the secretary of state's race.
00:25:46.000 And I think we're going to turn this into the Florida of the West.
00:25:49.000 It's not going to be easy, but we're going to be pouring a lot of money in to this state and a lot of attention and a lot of ballot chasing.
00:25:56.000 People say, Charlie, what's your plan for the midterms?
00:25:58.000 My number one plan is to defend our home.
00:26:01.000 We're going to get a lot of attention here in Arizona.
00:26:04.000 We have a great following here in Arizona.
00:26:06.000 No, I'm not running for governor.
00:26:07.000 People keep on asking for that.
00:26:09.000 In fact, there was a poll that came out.
00:26:11.000 We haven't talked about this on the program.
00:26:12.000 They showed that I was in first place if there was a straw poll for governor.
00:26:15.000 It was really something else.
00:26:16.000 And I'm not running.
00:26:18.000 People say, oh, you know, you should run.
00:26:20.000 I'm running Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action doing the show.
00:26:23.000 But to answer your question, we're going to continue to chase votes and to register voters and turn Arizona into a red paradise.
00:26:32.000 If I had nothing else going on, it of course would be somewhat tempting to run for governor alongside Byron and Vivek, because I think Arizona could kick the tail of Florida and Ohio.
00:26:42.000 Are you kidding me?
00:26:43.000 I mean, you want to go be a Florida man in the I-5 corridor or Orlando, or do you want to go live in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona?
00:26:50.000 I mean, no offense to Ohio, but you'd be lucky if the sun comes out once in February or March.
00:26:55.000 There is so much untapped potential in Arizona.
00:26:59.000 Again, I'm not running for governor or anything, but the lack of vision that some of these candidates have for Arizona, we should become the AI super capital of the American West, number one.
00:27:08.000 Number two, we should be the desalination.
00:27:11.000 Capital of the world.
00:27:12.000 We could fix our water program overnight.
00:27:14.000 Number three, we need to build like three nuclear plants.
00:27:16.000 Number four, work with the federal government to purchase Rocky Point.
00:27:19.000 Not a joke.
00:27:20.000 We need a coastline.
00:27:22.000 Buy it from Mexico.
00:27:23.000 Extend Arizona.
00:27:24.000 And by the way, Mexico can get Tucson back.
00:27:26.000 And I'm half kidding.
00:27:27.000 Thank you so much.
00:27:28.000 What's the next question?
00:27:29.000 Beatriz, what's on your mind?
00:27:31.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:27:32.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:27:34.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:27:35.000 Can you hear me?
00:27:35.000 Yes.
00:27:36.000 What's on your mind?
00:27:36.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:27:38.000 Hi.
00:27:39.000 So...
00:27:41.000 First, so I have a almost six month old and I mean, I've just been super anxious about having to go back to work and everything.
00:27:50.000 So I was just wondering, you know, for the future, does President Trump have any plans for like maternity leave or anything like that as far as like making it potentially better?
00:28:01.000 Yeah, I don't think it's going to happen in this bill.
00:28:05.000 I do recommend.
00:28:06.000 You know, homeschooling your kids.
00:28:08.000 I know it might be really tough.
00:28:09.000 So Beatriz, this is a sad state of affairs and you are a victim of a larger economic problem.
00:28:17.000 So I don't mean to pry, but is it one of those things where you have to work in order to support your family with your husband or your partner?
00:28:25.000 Am I fair to say that?
00:28:26.000 Yeah, correct.
00:28:27.000 We're in California if that changes anything.
00:28:30.000 This is so important.
00:28:32.000 And Beatriz, here's the problem.
00:28:34.000 And you are a perfect example of this.
00:28:36.000 Because I would imagine you would rather not work than work.
00:28:39.000 Is that fair?
00:28:40.000 Correct.
00:28:41.000 Yeah.
00:28:41.000 But of course, staying at home is working.
00:28:43.000 Everybody, this is the kicker.
00:28:45.000 In 1985, you could support a family of four in America with 36 weeks of labor.
00:28:52.000 In 2025, it requires 56 weeks of labor.
00:28:56.000 That's more than 52 weeks, and that's for one person.
00:28:59.000 What does that mean?
00:29:00.000 Elizabeth Warren, believe it or not, wrote the best book.
00:29:03.000 And Beatriz, if you want some light reading, you could read it.
00:29:05.000 This was like 15 years ago.
00:29:07.000 It was called The Two Income Trap.
00:29:10.000 Beatriz, I think it is wrong that we are forcing new mothers back into the workforce because our economic model is so screwed up.
00:29:17.000 I say that as a conservative.
00:29:19.000 There is nothing more noble than raising your kids.
00:29:22.000 There is nothing more noble than raising your children.
00:29:25.000 And so incomes are not keeping up enough to be able to...
00:29:30.000 Raise kids the way you want to, and so instead you have to do daycare and all that.
00:29:33.000 So here's the only thing that I would recommend, Beatriz, and just my one call to action.
00:29:38.000 Do whatever you possibly can to try to cost save, try to not work all the time to be there to raise your child.
00:29:45.000 That is time you'll never get back.
00:29:47.000 I know it's so hard, and I know because of the cost of living and because of inflation, it's difficult, but that is my piece of advice.
00:29:55.000 I have pushed for paid family leave for quite some time.
00:29:57.000 I think we should have it.
00:30:00.000 Look, there's a lot of work-from-home options as well.
00:30:02.000 Home office, things of that nature.
00:30:04.000 God bless you, Beatriz, and thank you for being a member.
00:30:06.000 Let's send her a signed hat, Daisy.
00:30:10.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:30:12.000 When faced with a threat, you might think of lethal force, but consider a less lethal option like Burna to avoid legal issues tied to firearms.
00:30:19.000 As a strong advocate for the right to bear arms, I value diverse defensive options, and Burna offers an effective alternative.
00:30:27.000 Proudly assembled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Burna's less lethal pistol launchers loaded with tear gas and kinetic ammunition can incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes, allowing you to safely escape or call for help while reducing...
00:30:40.000 the risk of severe injury.
00:30:41.000 Berna is about preventing tragedy and preserving life without the consequences of using lethal drugs.
00:30:46.000 It's legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks, and over 500,000 units are in the hands of responsible citizens and law enforcement.
00:30:56.000 Berna can be shipped directly to your door.
00:30:58.000 I've personally tested the Berna pistol and can vouch for its effectiveness and its ease of use.

00:31:13.000 What is our next member name?
00:31:15.000 Let me see here.
00:31:16.000 Bo.
00:31:18.000 Bob, not Bo.
00:31:20.000 Bob.
00:31:21.000 Bob, thank you for...
00:31:22.000 Sorry, they wrote Bo, but they meant Bob.
00:31:25.000 Bob, thank you for being a member.
00:31:26.000 I hope to see you on Monday in Oconomowoc.
00:31:29.000 What is on your mind?
00:31:30.000 Yeah, I'm just, I'm happy you brought it up because, you know, here in the state of Wisconsin, we are definitely red through and through, except for Dane County and Milwaukee County, obviously.
00:31:41.000 And it's just kind of crazy that, you know, our legislature is Republican, but our Supreme Court right now is, you know, 4-3 Democratic.
00:31:52.000 And now that she's leaving, we've got to get Shimo across the line because if they...
00:31:57.000 If we allow that Supreme Court and they're going to gerrymander the districts and we might lose Wisconsin forever because they're going to get that legislature over to, you know, a liberal legislature and all the think tanks in Dane County is just going to, you know,
00:32:12.000 infect the rest of the or have the power to infect the rest of the state.
00:32:17.000 Super quick.
00:32:18.000 I have a question for you, Bob.
00:32:19.000 What percentage of the Trump faithful people that you know are aware and planning to vote on this spring election?
00:32:27.000 100% of the people that I know.
00:32:28.000 That's a good sign.
00:32:29.000 That's a great sign, Bob.
00:32:30.000 That gives me hope.
00:32:31.000 Well, yeah, yeah.
00:32:33.000 But it's, I think, more people, it's just so hard to get people to go out for elections like this.
00:32:38.000 Thankfully, we have, like, I have the Turning Point Action app.
00:32:41.000 I have Commit 100.
00:32:43.000 You know, Scott Pressler here doing his thing is amazing to have, but it's still just where it's, you know, we had a lot of young people, thanks to you and your organization, that went out and voted for Trump.
00:32:54.000 It's harder to get them to understand how important it is on the state level.
00:32:59.000 So that's the big thing.
00:33:00.000 You know, I have a bunch of 20-year-olds.
00:33:03.000 I have a 20-year-old son, and, you know, just every one of his friends I'm talking to, and it's just trying to get them to go vote, you know, for something they don't hear a bunch about is the hump to get over.
00:33:16.000 Very good.
00:33:17.000 Well, thank you, Bob.
00:33:18.000 Hope to see you on Monday in Oconomowoc.
00:33:20.000 God bless.
00:33:20.000 Thank you.
00:33:21.000 Yep, thank you.
00:33:23.000 Okay, final question of the day, of the week, is Ted.
00:33:27.000 By the way, if you guys want to register to the event, one more time, throw it up.
00:33:29.000 tpaction.com slash townhall.
00:33:32.000 tpaction.com slash townhall.
00:33:33.000 Ted, you're the final question.
00:33:34.000 Make it quick.
00:33:35.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:33:37.000 Calling from British Columbia again.
00:33:39.000 I spoke last week.
00:33:40.000 Today, Canada got a new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, former governor of the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England.
00:33:47.000 We also now may likely have a federal election before May, where another leader may take over, the conservative leader Pierre Polyev.
00:33:56.000 If you were advising either of these men on their negotiations with Trump on the current tariff war, what would you say?
00:34:03.000 If I was advising the Canadian side?
00:34:06.000 So what I would say, I like Ezra's idea.
00:34:10.000 I would try to bring both our countries closer together.
00:34:13.000 Number one, I would advise them to try to expedite.
00:34:17.000 The Keystone XL pipeline.
00:34:18.000 Number two, be willing to sell the $13 trillion of oil sands.
00:34:24.000 Number three, I would use the Canadian troopers to really shut down the northern border.
00:34:31.000 This is non-negotiable.
00:34:32.000 The advice I would give is I'd say, look, we are going to help secure this border, America, so you no longer have terrorists flowing across the border.
00:34:40.000 That's the advice that I would give.
00:34:42.000 Here's my also public advice for whatever it's worth.
00:34:46.000 I think that all of our attention needs to be on the Mexican drug cartels and the Chinese Communist Party.
00:34:51.000 We should tariff Mexico for harboring cartels.
00:34:54.000 We should tariff China for obvious reasons.
00:34:57.000 Those are the two.
00:34:58.000 In fact, I think we should bring Canada closer to us to go after the Mexican drug cartels.
00:35:04.000 The Mexican drug cartels have done enormous damage to our country.
00:35:08.000 That is my advice.
00:35:09.000 Thanks so much for being a member, man.
00:35:11.000 Thanks.
00:35:11.000 Really appreciate it.
