00:00:04.000 Why are Democrats not adjusting?
00:00:07.000 Why are they not adapting to the new political order?

00:01:40.000 So if you are a member, you get to ask questions live on The Charlie Kirk Show all hour.
00:01:45.000 It is the members call, members.charliekirk.com.
00:01:48.000 That is members.charliekirk.com.
00:01:51.000 The first question is from Anthony.
00:01:53.000 Anthony, thank you for being a member.
00:01:54.000 What is on your mind, my friend?
00:01:56.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:01:57.000 Two quick questions.
00:01:58.000 So one has to do with...
00:02:00.000 The issues in the colleges that we see at Harvard and everything and all the problems that they've created with the protests that they don't want to get rid of over hatred speech towards Jewish or a certain group.
00:02:11.000 The second question also is, what is up with all of our – the other side of politicians wanting these gang members to say?
00:02:21.000 I'm seeing it with local Democrat politicians in my area that are legislators that are saying – Like, they support these illegals and basically kicking their voters to the curb.
00:02:32.000 Yeah, I just, look, I try to understand the Democrat mind.
00:02:36.000 I seek to be an expert in the liberal consciousness.
00:02:40.000 And it's a tough one, man.
00:02:43.000 How they could get so excited and so fired up.
00:02:46.000 At some point, if you're a liberal, you want to oppose Trump.
00:02:48.000 I get that.
00:02:49.000 You got nothing on your side, you want to oppose Trump.
00:02:51.000 Fine, whatever, okay.
00:02:53.000 You want to oppose the current party in power.
00:02:55.000 We kind of opposed Joe Biden when he was president.
00:02:58.000 But you try to find stories that you can attach yourself to because Democrats need symbols.
00:03:05.000 Democrats need symbols and they need stories.
00:03:07.000 They need George Floyd or they need Michael Brown.
00:03:10.000 That's how the Democrat operation is configured.
00:03:13.000 It's how it's constituted.
00:03:15.000 What's been really amazing is how at no point somebody in the Democrat party would have whispered, hey guys, this isn't a great one.
00:03:22.000 Common sense.
00:03:23.000 Not a Maryland dad.
00:03:24.000 MS-13 member.
00:03:25.000 Wife beater.
00:03:26.000 Restraining order.
00:03:27.000 Just got it kind of not great.
00:03:29.000 Not great.
00:03:30.000 And instead, they're going all in on this guy.
00:03:34.000 And at some point, they should have said, wait a second.
00:03:36.000 Probably not a good one to go all in on a foreigner that's here illegally that also committed crimes and was part of MS-13.
00:03:44.000 So it's shocking.
00:03:46.000 Breathtaking, actually.
00:03:48.000 Secondly, to your other I'm going to say this.
00:04:00.000 I deal with them on a business level, so I kind of have to be very careful.
00:04:06.000 Where do they come and say, okay, we need to stop.
00:04:09.000 We're losing money now.
00:04:10.000 Yes, and I don't think they're going to stop.
00:04:13.000 They are married to their Ivy League smugness, to their pomposity, to their groupthink.
00:04:19.000 I don't think that there is going to be any recalibration.
00:04:22.000 They're going to fight this, and they need federal money.
00:04:25.000 They need taxpayer money significantly.
00:04:26.000 There is another thing I want to mention about Van Hollen.
00:04:29.000 He said, quote, I'm not here to endorse any set of facts.
00:04:32.000 I'm here just endorsing the judicial system in due process.
00:04:34.000 He's already starting to walk back, because I think top-level Democrats are whispering, hey, not a great fight for us.
00:04:42.000 Not a great fight for us.
00:04:44.000 Anthony, thanks for being a member, my friend.
00:04:46.000 Really appreciate it.
00:04:47.000 Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com and subscribe to our podcast.
00:04:51.000 Become a member, members.charliekirk.com.
00:04:54.000 Who is next?
00:04:55.000 Shannon. Shannon, thank you for being a member.
00:04:57.000 Hi, I'm Colleen from Texas.
00:04:58.000 I'm a Taiwanese by birth and a patriot by choice.
00:05:02.000 And I know that when President Trump took office, he was...
00:05:05.000 Trolling Canada, and he was talking about annexing Canada.
00:05:09.000 And this is our proposition.
00:05:11.000 Forget about Canada.
00:05:12.000 Take Taiwan instead.
00:05:14.000 And I'd like to give you a little background if I can.
00:05:17.000 Please. Okay.
00:05:19.000 I flew to Taiwan with my husband in February to visit my mom-in-law, and while I was there, I became reconnected.
00:05:25.000 With an old friend who is now elected the chairwoman of the Formosa Alliance, a very small but pro-America party based in Taiwan.
00:05:33.000 And she's arguably the most pro-Trump Taiwanese I know.
00:05:36.000 And she's faithfully followed his every move over the past four years.
00:05:41.000 And I believe God has a hand in all of this.
00:05:45.000 So Formosa Alliance's former chairman, Reverend Lo is hoping to come to see the National Prayer Breakfast next spring.
00:05:52.000 And the founder of the party, Dr. George, is also a Christian and a developer, no less.
00:05:57.000 So we at the Alliance are concerned that Taiwan's really democratic progressive party being factually and heavily infiltrated by Chinese operatives.
00:06:07.000 And plenty of lawmakers have business dealings with China.
00:06:13.000 Well, I would love that.
00:06:26.000 So I have a soft spot for the people of Taiwan.
00:06:28.000 I would say, sadly, if we took Taiwan, it would probably start a nuclear war.
00:06:32.000 Our leaders have largely mishandled China.
00:06:35.000 We probably should have taken it in 1950, right after World War II.
00:06:39.000 The Taiwanese people are phenomenal.
00:06:41.000 I stand with Taiwan.
00:06:42.000 You guys should never be part of mainland, the Chinese Communist Party.
00:06:45.000 And I think Taiwan, the actual, is the Republic of China, if I'm not mistaken, right?
00:06:50.000 You're not.
00:06:51.000 You're not.
00:06:52.000 But that's where the controversy came in, because that was the republic that the warlord, Chiang Kai-shek, set up before his defeat by Mao Zedong.
00:07:07.000 Right. And so Taiwan is much more of a free society than the Chinese Communist Party.
00:07:14.000 You know, I do feel called to visit Taiwan at some point.
00:07:17.000 I want to see it for myself.
00:07:19.000 I hear wonderful things.
00:07:20.000 And so insofar, you might be able to help arrange that.
00:07:24.000 I am going to Asia in late August and early September.
00:07:28.000 I'm supposed to go to Korea.
00:07:30.000 I'm supposed to go to Japan.
00:07:31.000 So it'd be very interesting if I stopped by Taiwan.
00:07:34.000 It is regional.
00:07:36.000 Yes, it is.
00:07:37.000 And I would love to learn there.
00:07:39.000 Yes, other thoughts?
00:07:40.000 Okay, going back to what you said earlier concerning the peace treaty.
00:07:46.000 Okay, according to Article 4B of the San Francisco Peace Treaty of 1952, the disposition of both the Ryukyu, that's Japan and Taiwan, which were Japanese property, are subject to the directives of the United States military government.
00:08:04.000 So the specifications in the treaty elevate the renewed use to the status of the United Nations trusteeship while continuing under the jurisdiction of USMG.
00:08:15.000 For Taiwan, however, with no formal trusteeship agreement in place, a correct description of Taiwan's international legal status is quasi-trusteeship under USMG.
00:08:27.000 But there has not been a formal conclusion of the USMG jurisdiction over Taiwan.
00:08:32.000 If no such announcement has ever been made, that possibly suggests that Taiwan is an overseas territory of the U.S. Got it.
00:08:41.000 So, yeah, with that being said, a historian in Taiwan has developed a set of robust way of research and legally based laws about U.S. rightfully taking over Taiwan.
00:08:52.000 So is there a person or organization you can...
00:08:55.000 Yeah, you can direct us to, we can speak to?
00:08:58.000 Yes. I mean, look, there's a lot of people in the administration that are talking about Taiwan or thinking about it.
00:09:04.000 I just want to caution some of what you're saying.
00:09:07.000 The Chinese Communist Party believes it's theirs.
00:09:09.000 And so any actions that America will do towards Taiwan could be seen as a direct invasion or military threat against the Chinese Communist Party.
00:09:18.000 But we're happy to connect you.
00:09:20.000 And thank you so much, Shannon, for being a member.
00:09:21.000 And I love Taiwan.
00:09:23.000 Thank you.
00:09:24.000 Thank you.
00:09:24.000 God bless.
00:09:25.000 What do you guys think?
00:09:26.000 Do you guys think I should visit Taiwan?
00:09:28.000 I don't know how out of the way it is.
00:09:30.000 Oh, there are flights from Seoul to Taiwan.
00:09:33.000 Okay. There you go.
00:09:36.000 Be very interesting.
00:09:38.000 Subscribe to the Charlie Kirk Show podcast page just to hop in a skip of a jump from Seoul.
00:09:44.000 I really can't wait.
00:09:46.000 I've always been distantly fascinated by Asia.
00:09:53.000 It is amazing to me how countries can work.
00:09:56.000 They have trains.
00:09:58.000 They have planes.
00:09:58.000 They got incredible high-speed rail.
00:10:00.000 Very low crime.
00:10:02.000 I want to see it for myself.
00:10:03.000 I'm very, very interested.
00:10:05.000 And we'll be seeing that in Seoul and Tokyo and maybe Taiwan, Taipei.
00:10:09.000 We'll see.
00:10:11.000 Making America Great Again starts with making America healthy again.
00:10:15.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:16.000 I lost 40 pounds with the PhD weight loss and nutrition program.
00:10:20.000 And two years later, I haven't gained a pound back.
00:10:22.000 I started the PhD weight loss program because I need to be healthy to keep up with my crazy schedule.
00:10:27.000 Most people start a weight loss program to get healthier.
00:10:30.000 So why is Big Pharma spending millions to convince you to use their weight loss injections that do just the opposite?
00:10:38.000 They have harmful side effects and lifelong dependency.
00:10:41.000 Take a natural approach that isn't connected to a big pharma bottom line.
00:10:45.000 PHD changes the way you think about food.
00:10:47.000 They custom design a plan that is simple and works with your schedule.
00:10:52.000 You'll learn to quiet cravings and finally release the unhealthy belly fat.
00:10:56.000 You won't be hungry and you'll never take medication.

00:11:07.000 That is myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:09.000 864-644-1900.
00:11:13.000 I love our members call, so let's keep it going.
00:11:16.000 Josh, thank you for being a member.
00:11:18.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:11:19.000 What's on your mind?
00:11:20.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:11:22.000 So first off, I just want to say that I've actually been approached recently to about starting a TPUSA chapter at my college, which is an extremely liberal college in Tennessee, so hoping to be able to at least establish that.
00:11:36.000 But my main question is, we have seen recently, especially more recently than not, these lifelong Democrats and Republicans just staying in Senate and Congress, not stepping down, even though they are clearly kind of...
00:11:51.000 overdoing it and they're just maybe doing it for personal glory, money, laundering, all the wonderful stuff that they actually do.
00:11:58.000 So how do we actually have them impose term limits in Senate and Congress?
00:12:04.000 I know we could go states convention, but we're about seven states short last I knew.
00:12:10.000 So is there any other way we could potentially go about getting this as
00:12:14.000 as a mainstream problem?
00:12:15.000 This is one of the great ironies and paradoxes of Congress.
00:12:20.000 In order to get Congress to retire itself via term limits, it has to vote on it,
00:12:27.000 The best proposal I've seen with term limits, and I think that J.D. Vance, when he runs for president in 2028, should run on congressional term limits.
00:12:37.000 I think it should be a core pillar part of his campaign.
00:12:40.000 It is a populist message.
00:12:41.000 I think he should say, day one of his presidency, he will submit...
00:12:47.000 A term limits bill.
00:12:48.000 It's incredibly popular.
00:12:50.000 Term limits is an 80-20 issue.
00:12:52.000 It transcends political lines.
00:12:53.000 The only way, however, that this can work, the only way it can work, Josh, is if it only goes into effect with future members.
00:13:03.000 So if you are some octogenarian like McConnell or Grassley, you guys are not term limited.
00:13:10.000 Therefore, they don't have to retire themselves.
00:13:12.000 That's the only way that I've ever had it, is that current members are exempt.
00:13:16.000 They're grandfathered in, which I honestly think is morally pretty fair because they were elected with different rules, but future members are term-limited.
00:13:24.000 I think it should be probably two terms or maybe three for a U.S. senator, and then I think three or four for a member of Congress.
00:13:32.000 I do want to caution everybody, though.
00:13:34.000 This will not fix all of our problems.
00:13:37.000 California has strict term limits, and they are completely messed up.
00:13:41.000 Term limits are not a skeletal key to a free society.
00:13:44.000 It does help a lot, though.
00:13:46.000 And we also need much stricter prohibitions on members of Congress's staff from becoming lobbyists.
00:13:54.000 We need more of a cooling-off period, maybe a five- to ten-year window.
00:13:58.000 We need to make it so that the member staff actually have term limits, that you can't work on the Hill for maybe more than ten years.
00:14:06.000 That has some very serious controversy around it, but generally, I think we do need term limits.
00:14:12.000 I think term limits do work, and I think that it's a great way to hold the swamp accountable.
00:14:17.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:14:18.000 Lizzie, what is on your mind?
00:14:20.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:14:20.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:14:22.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:14:23.000 Happy Good Friday.
00:14:24.000 Happy Good Friday to you.
00:14:26.000 I hope your holy week has been profound and holy.
00:14:29.000 What is on your mind?
00:14:30.000 Thank you for saying that.
00:14:31.000 Very much so, yeah.
00:14:32.000 Actually, on that topic, as we are celebrating and observing this blessed time of year, which is Holy Week, what is a hymn that you look forward to singing on Easter Sunday?
00:14:42.000 Well, I love that question.
00:14:44.000 I will tell you, I don't really go to churches that sing hymns as much as they should.
00:14:50.000 I will say that I love, regardless of the circumstance, the hymn Amazing Grace.
00:14:57.000 I think that would be considered a hymn, right?
00:15:00.000 Absolutely. I think Amazing Grace, regardless of the time or circumstance that it is sung in, it is spectacular.
00:15:08.000 It just hits it perfectly.
00:15:10.000 And in my conversation with Bill Maher, that will air on Sunday, I tried to explain the concept of grace to him, and he was rather mystified by it.
00:15:22.000 What is this grace thing?
00:15:24.000 And I clumsily did my best to try to explain what grace is.
00:15:29.000 But in the Christian concept, grace is this remarkable idea that Jesus atones for our sins and that our slate is washed clean.
00:15:40.000 So I love Easter.
00:15:43.000 I love the resurrection.
00:15:46.000 And also, just so everyone's clear, they say, oh, Easter is pagan.
00:15:50.000 Hold on a second.
00:15:50.000 The term Easter was a pagan term that was redeemed.
00:15:55.000 But no, Easter itself is actually always aligning with the Jewish Passover, Pesca, which is happening this week as well, that those two things are always overlaid with one another.
00:16:07.000 And the resurrection and the promise of Jesus, honestly, can be best described as a fresh start, as a reset.
00:16:14.000 It's a beautiful idea, and it's a truism that has captivated billions of people throughout time.
00:16:21.000 I will say also...
00:16:23.000 And yes, Blake reminded me of this.
00:16:25.000 The Hallelujah Chorus is played at Christmas, but it's actually an Easter piece.
00:16:30.000 I love Handel.
00:16:33.000 So I encourage people to check it out.

00:17:38.000 Dave, you are next.
00:17:40.000 Dave, thank you for being a member.
00:17:42.000 Hope you're having a good Holy Week.
00:17:44.000 What is on your mind?
00:17:45.000 It is wonderful, Charlie, and thanks for taking my call.
00:17:49.000 I just wanted to get your take real quick on the Nebraska winner take all.
00:17:54.000 Seems like this one kind of snuck its way in there, Charlie.
00:17:58.000 I don't know.
00:17:59.000 It feels like here we go again.
00:18:00.000 I saw one of the senators say this morning, out of 135 people from my district who called in, only nine supported winner take all.
00:18:09.000 The contempt these people have, Charlie, just seems palpable.
00:18:13.000 What do we do moving forward to shore up our own states?
00:18:18.000 Oh my goodness.
00:18:19.000 I have to get...
00:18:20.000 I have been distracted, quite honestly, and it's not an election year.
00:18:24.000 So debate over a bill to turn Nebraska to win-take-all continued in the legislature.
00:18:28.000 Just after 5.30, the cloture vote failed, 31.18, meaning Nebraska will stick with its current system.
00:18:34.000 33 votes.
00:18:35.000 I'll be very honest.
00:18:36.000 I know these guys.
00:18:37.000 I met Merv, and I met...
00:18:39.000 I actually didn't meet Dave Wordkemper.
00:18:42.000 Joined the Democrat majority.
00:18:44.000 I'll be very honest with you.
00:18:45.000 I became so cynical about Nebraska politics.
00:18:48.000 After my short stint and time there, that I did not get engaged in this spring.
00:18:56.000 Dare I say, a lot of them are a bunch of losers, and I have a lot of other stuff that we're dealing with right now.
00:19:02.000 It's just very disappointing that Nebraska cannot get together and do this.
00:19:08.000 They can't see the forest from the trees.
00:19:11.000 It's not over in the sense that...
00:19:13.000 Look, it will remain its system, but they're so focused on their peculiar issues and their petty rivalries and their own little fiefdoms and their own little he-said-she-said nonsense.
00:19:22.000 I literally, we spent a whole weekend right before the election.
00:19:26.000 We took our entire team to Lincoln, and I met with the governor, who was fine on this.
00:19:32.000 Governor Pillen was fine.
00:19:33.000 And I went to a Nebraska football game, which is where if you want to talk to Nebraska lawmakers, I went literally...
00:19:39.000 Box after box, I literally went in the skyboxes trying to find legislators and convince them to go winner take all.
00:19:48.000 And you know the number one reason I got?
00:19:51.000 One of them said, I don't want to do this because the backlash might be very similar to the trans vote and I don't like controversy.
00:20:00.000 Yeah. It just feels like the cycle, Charlie, repeating over again, right?
00:20:04.000 This reminds me of Bush 2000.
00:20:07.000 Promises, promises, promises.
00:20:09.000 It heats up.
00:20:09.000 Then it goes away.
00:20:11.000 Everybody forgets about it.
00:20:12.000 And guess what we're going to have?
00:20:13.000 Let's just say Trump runs again in 28. We're going to go through this argument again.
00:20:19.000 Everyone's going to get high.
00:20:20.000 So great point.
00:20:22.000 And I will say this.
00:20:24.000 That if there is...
00:20:28.000 This is not fixed by 2027.
00:20:31.000 We're going to go raise some money and we're going to give a really good shot at it.
00:20:33.000 We have not been involved in this spring.
00:20:35.000 I'll be honest.
00:20:36.000 We kind of emptied our clip, if you will.
00:20:38.000 Emptied our magazine, metaphorically, back in the fall.
00:20:42.000 And I was like, look, I don't know how much I can actually help this spring.
00:20:44.000 They're going to just think I'm being annoying.
00:20:46.000 And honestly, I'm just kind of out on Nebraska politics with that being.
00:20:49.000 It's not my state.
00:20:49.000 I try to get them to do this.
00:20:51.000 It's so self-evidently the right decision.
00:20:54.000 But we're going to re-engage and try to get it done.
00:20:57.000 Because look, with J.D. Vance, what if J.D. Vance, the same thing, here we go again, right?
00:21:02.000 And these losers in Nebraska can't get their act together.
00:21:06.000 Well, I love hearing it.
00:21:08.000 It just seemed like it snuck in.
00:21:09.000 Really great question.
00:21:10.000 Thank you for that.
00:21:11.000 And I haven't been paying attention a lot, largely because of how scorned and bitter I became after spending time doing this in the fall.
00:21:20.000 But look, I also want to say, to your credit, I'm very much happy how much people still care about this, that people understand this matters.
00:21:29.000 And I am curious, could we give it a go at it back in 2026, Blake?
00:21:35.000 Because I think they still do a session in 2026.
00:21:40.000 I don't know how often they meet.
00:21:42.000 And a big rally could be fun.
00:21:44.000 Actually, that's a really good members call.
00:21:46.000 Thank you for that.
00:21:47.000 And I'm glad you care.
00:21:49.000 Okay. Let's go to Jonathan.
00:21:52.000 Jonathan, thank you for being a member.
00:21:55.000 My team has sent me something about you and your dad coming to AmFest and something that happened, but you wanted to ask me a question in the members' room.
00:22:03.000 So I hope your dad is okay.
00:22:05.000 I heard he had a heart attack.
00:22:06.000 Is that correct?
00:22:07.000 Jonathan, thank you for being here.
00:22:09.000 What's going on?
00:22:10.000 So, yeah, I'm actually the guy, I don't know if you remember or not, I actually got to ask Ben Shapiro a question on the Israel-Palestine war.
00:22:17.000 Back at AM Fest in Arizona, and that was excellent.
00:22:20.000 I had a great time that whole time.
00:22:22.000 I was wondering what the next big Trump event is, so I can actually take my dad to an excellent...
00:22:26.000 He's fine now, but I didn't want to take him to an excellent new event that he can actually enjoy himself.
00:22:31.000 Absolutely. I will say that the next big event that you guys can attend, and we'll give you both free tickets because of what you had to go through with your dad's heart attack, is our SAS event that is in Tampa, Florida.
00:22:43.000 It's our Student Action Summit in July.
00:22:45.000 It's July 11th, 12th, and 13th.
00:22:48.000 Daisy will reach out to you, and we'd love to give you some complimentary tickets.
00:22:52.000 And for those of you in the audience, it might be called the Student Action Summit, and it's primarily students, but people of all ages are able to attend.
00:23:01.000 So, Jonathan, thank you for that.
00:23:02.000 Anything else on your mind?
00:23:03.000 Oh, I have so many things, I don't even know where to begin, but I think we're just looking forward to going to that.
00:23:08.000 Thank you so much.
00:23:09.000 God bless.
00:23:09.000 We'll get you tickets for that, and thank you, my friend.
00:23:11.000 I'm glad your dad is doing better.
00:23:12.000 Oh, my pleasure.
00:23:13.000 Michael, what is on your mind?
00:23:14.000 Michael, thank you for being a member.
00:23:16.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:23:17.000 What's on your mind?
00:23:18.000 How are you doing, Charlie?
00:23:19.000 Happy Easter.
00:23:21.000 My question is, I am a sophomore at Lehigh University, and we got denied last semester and this semester for starting a chapter of Turning Point.
00:23:29.000 I just want some advice, and if there's any resources Turning Point can offer to pretty much aid our support in getting TPUSA registered on campus, that would be awesome.
00:23:41.000 What school?
00:23:42.000 It's a very local campus.
00:23:44.000 Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
00:23:46.000 Yeah, Lehigh.
00:23:47.000 Not a huge surprise there.
00:23:49.000 We would be happy to give you as many resources as we can on the local level, and I think that is a private school, if not mistaken, right?
00:23:56.000 It is, yes.
00:23:58.000 You know, one of the things I want the Trump administration to entertain is if these schools receive federal money, are they really private schools?
00:24:05.000 And so they're able to act with widespread discrimination.
00:24:09.000 Now, mind you, there is some caution here because Christian schools shouldn't have to all of a sudden do all the woke stuff if a Democrat president becomes president.
00:24:17.000 So we've got to be careful here, right?
00:24:19.000 So we've got to weigh the options.
00:24:21.000 But you take a school like Lehigh or a school like Harvard.
00:24:23.000 Why are they able to discriminate that I cannot come and speak on campus if they're receiving federal money?
00:24:29.000 If they're receiving money from the taxpayer.
00:24:31.000 Now, Hillsdale is a completely different situation.
00:24:34.000 Hillsdale receives no federal money.
00:24:36.000 None. Zero.
00:24:37.000 Hillsdale receives not a dollar.
00:24:38.000 So there is no opening.
00:24:39.000 Hillsdale can do whatever they want.
00:24:41.000 But I am of the legal opinion for now that if you receive subsidized federal student loans, research grant money, or other subsidies, Why is it that you're allowed to suppress freedom of speech?
00:24:53.000 So we're happy to connect you with the Alliance Defending Freedom.
00:24:56.000 They do a great job with that, and thank you for your advocacy.
00:24:59.000 And please come to our Student Action Summit.
00:25:01.000 Daisy will be in touch.
00:25:02.000 Thank you.
00:25:03.000 Yeah, real quick.
00:25:05.000 Sorry to keep this going, but we did table one time, and we got called, let me see, a Nazi hate group and inhumane bigots.
00:25:14.000 So the only thing that really irks me and really bothers me is...
00:25:19.000 Just the whole environment which it is.
00:25:23.000 There's a lot of closeted conservatives on campus.
00:25:25.000 I'm friends with many of them.
00:25:27.000 There's also a lot of liberals that I'm friends with because they have open viewpoints and we have a lot of dialogue.
00:25:33.000 That's a whole different topic.
00:25:36.000 But what can I do with that?
00:25:39.000 What bullets do I have in my chamber to fire?
00:25:41.000 Even though it's not something I really want to do.
00:25:44.000 But I really do am passionate about getting this on campus.
00:25:47.000 So I'm just looking for any.
00:25:49.000 I guess opening.
00:25:50.000 Yeah, and I'm sorry that you got thrown all those names at you.
00:25:52.000 That is unfortunately typical.
00:25:54.000 And so I would also just respond, be like, hey, name one thing I've ever said that's racist or hateful.
00:26:00.000 And they just walked away.
00:26:02.000 Of course.
00:26:02.000 They just said it and walked away.
00:26:04.000 Cowards. That's what I say.
00:26:06.000 100%. That's so typical of these maniacs.
00:26:10.000 The best advice I have is you have to hold the ground, hold your ground, know what you believe.
00:26:16.000 Have a strong remnant of students and don't allow that to phase you.
00:26:21.000 And unfortunately, we deal with this all the time at Turning Point USA.
00:26:25.000 And know your rights.
00:26:27.000 You're experiencing the same thing as me, Trump, and all of our amazing Turning Point USA students.
00:26:33.000 This will help you develop fortitude.
00:26:35.000 And don't let them lie to you.
00:26:37.000 They will try, but don't allow them to slander you and malign you.
00:26:42.000 Because you have conservative views.
00:26:44.000 Thank you very much.
00:26:45.000 Really appreciate it.
00:26:46.000 Thank you.
00:26:48.000 Absolutely. God bless you.
00:26:49.000 Brandon, thank you for being a member.
00:26:51.000 Let's go, Brandon.
00:26:52.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:26:54.000 What's on your mind?
00:26:55.000 Good morning, Charlie.
00:26:56.000 How are you?
00:26:56.000 Good. How are you?
00:26:57.000 Well, I was good until I got some news.
00:27:00.000 So, a year ago Sunday, which happens to be Easter this year, one of my best friends took his life, and I just...
00:27:10.000 I learned about 20 minutes ago that his sister OD'd Tuesday night.
00:27:16.000 She's fine now.
00:27:18.000 But I was just wondering if you and everyone listening could keep her family in your thoughts and prayers this weekend.
00:27:27.000 Yeah, I'm very sorry about that.
00:27:28.000 What is their name so we can do that?
00:27:32.000 Her name is Caitlin.
00:27:34.000 Her husband's name is...
00:27:36.000 Yeah, Caitlin.
00:27:37.000 Her husband's name is Cody.
00:27:40.000 Well, look, that's a serious issue.
00:27:42.000 And first of all, she should try to get help because drug usage and drug addiction is no joke.
00:27:47.000 It ruins so many different lives.
00:27:50.000 And look, we have a sick society.
00:27:52.000 It's the most suicidal, alcohol-addicted, drug-addicted generation in history.
00:27:56.000 And people need Jesus, man.
00:27:58.000 People need Jesus.
00:27:59.000 And a lot of people fall into trauma after loss.
00:28:02.000 And I will point a lot of the audience.
00:28:06.000 Your brain might be more damaged.
00:28:08.000 Then you realize in the sense of you might have had a concussion.
00:28:12.000 It might be poisoned.
00:28:14.000 I encourage people to treat your brain like an organ very similar to your heart or your stomach.
00:28:20.000 Try not to drink alcohol.
00:28:22.000 Try to eat a brain-healthy diet of a lot of healthy fats.
00:28:26.000 It can help with mental clarity.
00:28:28.000 It can also help people with depression.
00:28:30.000 There's a lot of evidence to show that.
00:28:32.000 And make sure you get your vitamin D and find support groups, so on and so forth.
00:28:36.000 Thank you so much.
00:28:37.000 I'm really sorry to hear that and God bless you.
00:28:39.000 Thank you.
00:28:40.000 God bless you.

00:29:46.000 Robert, Robert, thank you for being a member.
00:29:48.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com, what's on your mind?
00:29:50.000 Well, I wanted to know how WindRed is functioning.
00:29:54.000 When it initially was created, it seemed like a great tool, and then I learned first that the distribution of funds was being controlled at the time by McConnell.
00:30:06.000 And he was not funding candidates like Gary Lake.
00:30:11.000 And then I found that they even would publish an appeal and advertise a given candidate.
00:30:20.000 And when I dug into it, if you donated $100, only $1 went to the candidate.
00:30:27.000 The other $99 went wherever they wanted to put them.
00:30:31.000 And that felt very deceptive.
00:30:34.000 So are you aware of the status of WinRed?
00:30:36.000 Yeah, so a couple things.
00:30:37.000 So you're partially correct on this, and it's an important concern.
00:30:42.000 So WinRed is a payment processor, so it connects the donor to where they want to donate.
00:30:49.000 The biggest issue with WinRed is that some people think they're donating to a candidate, as to your very astute point, Robert, and it goes to a candidate's committee.
00:31:01.000 So let me just give you an example.
00:31:02.000 Let's say that you get a text message from a candidate that you like and that you support.
00:31:06.000 Let's say that it's J.D. Vance or Donald Trump or even more locally, let's say it's Ted Cruz.
00:31:13.000 What you might not always realize is that Ted Cruz is sending that email on behalf of a joint fundraising committee, and it's not actually going to the campaign.
00:31:22.000 It might be going to the Senate McConnell's fund.
00:31:26.000 Now, WinRed, to their credit, though, they'll work with individual candidates and all that.
00:31:30.000 The biggest problem I have with WinRed, and I have told them this, is how they share the data to other campaigns.
00:31:36.000 And, Robert, I bet you get a nauseating amount of emails and text messages, don't you?
00:31:41.000 I do.
00:31:42.000 The amount of fundraising solicitations that they send out, and I've said this to the RNC, I've said this to Michael Watley, you are losing your base with how much email volume you are sending out.
00:31:55.000 Triple, a 50, match, get your gold card.
00:31:58.000 I mean, like, okay, I'm all for raising money.
00:32:00.000 Of course, I do it professionally.
00:32:02.000 We raised $150 million last year, and it was very well deployed, and it made a huge difference, and we hired over 1,500 people.
00:32:10.000 I'm just saying you could do it in a way with a little bit more of a softer and lighter touch where you're not turning off donors.
00:32:17.000 And I bet, Robert, do you think the amount of emails you get makes it more likely or less likely that you're going to give?
00:32:22.000 Oh, I...
00:32:24.000 I won't even touch anything, even if I want to support it, if it's done through WinRed.
00:32:29.000 I'm so disillusioned with that.
00:32:31.000 I only donate directly to a candidate's fund.
00:32:34.000 Well done.
00:32:35.000 And let me just say, like some of these emails, it says like yesterday, in the span of four days.
00:32:39.000 Did you get our apology?
00:32:41.000 Please give us one more chance to explain this mistake.
00:32:43.000 Andrew, it's President Trump.
00:32:44.000 Have my texts been getting through?
00:32:46.000 Confirm here.
00:32:47.000 Surprise from the President.
00:32:48.000 Hello, Andrew, it's Trump.
00:32:48.000 I have something special for you.
00:32:49.000 I mean, it's like every couple hours, and I get it.
00:32:52.000 They've got to raise money.
00:32:53.000 You've got to pay for expenses.
00:32:54.000 Want to be the Democrats?
00:32:54.000 I'm all for that.
00:32:56.000 Feedback that I get from the grassroots is that I think there's a better way to do it.
00:33:01.000 Still raise money, of course.
00:33:02.000 Still do all that.
00:33:03.000 But the incessant text messages every 20 minutes, it's way too much.
00:33:06.000 And I subscribe to this.
00:33:07.000 I actually looked.
00:33:08.000 I got 13 emails yesterday.
00:33:10.000 13 emails.
00:33:12.000 All right.
00:33:12.000 Thank you so much.
00:33:13.000 Diane, wondering if your thoughts on all the Democrat infighting taking place between David Hogg and James Carville is this evidence of a bigger problem?
00:33:19.000 Well, finally, they're fighting.
00:33:21.000 So the vice chair of the DNC is David Hogg.
00:33:24.000 He wants to spend $20 million to primary do-nothing Democrats.
00:33:28.000 Now, I've never read the Democrat National Committee bylaws.
00:33:31.000 If an RNC person did this, they would be kicked out of the RNC.
00:33:34.000 The RNC, by bylaws, you are not allowed to even support or get involved in any form of primary.
00:33:40.000 So either David Hogg is violating DNC bylaws or he doesn't know them.
00:33:45.000 Either way, you can't be the vice chair of the DNC and encourage primaries.
00:33:49.000 That is definitionally against what the party is supposed to be.
00:33:52.000 The party is there to try and elect more Democrats.
00:33:56.000 This is cut 377.
00:33:58.000 Somebody sue David Hong.
00:33:59.000 He's an officer of the Democratic National Committee.
00:34:02.000 He is the vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and he's running against other Democrats.
00:34:06.000 I would like to know, and you went to law school, does he have a fiduciary duty toward Democrats?
00:34:11.000 If you work for News Nation, you can't promote CNN.
00:34:15.000 I think it's an outrage.
00:34:17.000 I don't know if I have standing, but I might give the DNC $10 and sue him.
00:34:23.000 He's a contemptible little twerk, if you ask.
00:34:26.000 Fight. Fight harder.
00:34:28.000 Fight nastier.
00:34:29.000 Civil war underway.
00:34:31.000 And I think Carville is right.
00:34:33.000 You can't be an officer of the party and then say you must primary.
00:34:36.000 You can do that on the outside.
00:34:37.000 I'm all for primaries.
00:34:38.000 But being part of the actual party to do that, I love to see it.
00:34:42.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
