00:01:20.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:01:22.000 Matt, thanks for being a member.
00:01:24.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:01:24.000 Thanks for all you and your team do.
00:01:26.000 Just my kind of question thought of the week is around this land potential grab, if you want to call it that, in the big, beautiful bill that'll open up a lot of the federal lands for sale.
00:01:40.000 And I can just see this go in a particular way where it's not actually beneficial.
00:01:44.000 It ends up being just, you know, who's at the trough at the moment.
00:01:49.000 And these are a lot of our most beautiful vistas and federal lands and parks.
00:01:53.000 And it just got me a little worried.
00:01:55.000 You know, and I hear that concern.
00:01:57.000 So we have Senator Mike Lee coming on next week, who's the author of this, to defend this.
00:02:04.000 I want to be clear, though.
00:02:05.000 This is just BLM land, not Black Lives Matter, Bureau of Land Management.
00:02:08.000 It's not national parks.
00:02:11.000 And so I see it both ways.
00:02:13.000 Like, of course, I don't want like Yellowstone to be sold to a bunch of developers or like the Grand Tetons or Yosemite or the Grand Canyon.
00:02:21.000 But as someone who lives out west, especially in Arizona, there is a ton of national land that could potentially be developed for housing.
00:02:30.000 So just you understand, one of the biggest issues is that there's a look at look at how much federal, I mean, Nevada is basically like 94% federal land.
00:02:39.000 So Mike Leah said this.
00:02:40.000 We're talking about a minuscule percentage of federal land in or immediately adjacent to existing residential developments and BLM leases would be off limits for any land sales.
00:02:52.000 And so it is a 29% of the land in America is owned by the federal government.
00:03:00.000 I mean, look, that is the federal land map out west.
00:03:03.000 Now, the better way to probably do this is just give it to the states, and then the states can then do it.
00:03:10.000 Because I think that a land sale from a PR perspective sounds terrible.
00:03:15.000 Now, should we preserve beautiful federal land?
00:03:18.000 Of course we should.
00:03:19.000 But we're talking about land that is larger than Western Europe, all completely off limits for development.
00:03:25.000 And a lot of that is just wilderness.
00:03:27.000 And look, there is something that said that we do want to keep part of the West wild.
00:03:31.000 But understand that if you start to run out of land for residential developments, you have two problems.
00:03:38.000 You have to go vertical, and then people become more clustered and they become more liberal.
00:03:43.000 It's just the truth.
00:03:45.000 Now, some people say, I don't want to live in a country with no open spaces.
00:03:49.000 We're not talking about get rid of open spaces.
00:03:52.000 By the way, we couldn't get rid of all the open spaces if we tried.
00:03:55.000 This country is a beast.
00:03:57.000 It is massive.
00:03:58.000 And just so we are clear, Texas has largely privatized almost all of their land.
00:04:03.000 Look at that map.
00:04:04.000 And Texas has a lot of open spaces.
00:04:06.000 And by the way, Texas has their own mini Grand Canyon right near Amarillo, Texas.
00:04:12.000 They have Big Ben National Park.
00:04:15.000 So Texas, I think, is actually a really good example of this.
00:04:18.000 One of the problems is out west, we have incredible issues when it comes to housing.
00:04:27.000 Major issues.
00:04:28.000 And so we need more land to be able to develop housing.
00:04:31.000 And if you don't want that, then get used to living in an apartment.
00:04:34.000 If you want a house, sometimes you have to open up more land.
00:04:36.000 This is only for a minuscule percentage of federal land in or immediately adjacent to existing residential developments of BLM leases.
00:04:44.000 And by the way, I'd add one more component.
00:04:45.000 No foreigners can buy this land. 0.98
00:04:47.000 Just add one more component there.
00:04:50.000 And so we're not like building in the Tetons.
00:04:52.000 We're building in places in the middle of Nevada.
00:04:54.000 Go ahead, Matt.
00:04:55.000 No, that's a great breakdown.
00:04:57.000 And thank you for the extended time on that.
00:04:59.000 My thought is kind of what you're saying is, oh, more clustered, more liberal.
00:05:02.000 Well, I think along with it, one way to do it is, okay, let's make the policy platform and agenda in all these states much more unpalatable for liberals to move into Utah, into Nevada, Arizona, lock down that sector.
00:05:17.000 And then I think additionally, show for more kind of transparency on, like you said, if it's BLM leases that are adjacent to other residential, that supports great.
00:05:26.000 And as you mentioned, there's millions and millions of acres out there that are really untouched and that aren't going to be impacted, which is beautiful.
00:05:33.000 But I also think that there are massive sections, if you go through Atlanta, St. Louis, a handful of cities in the country, Baltimore, that have major, and this is not really directly impacted by the federal lands element, but if you think about just places to build, there's massive sections of these cities that have just been completely kind of run down, wiped out, forgotten over the years that also could be tied in with this.
00:05:59.000 Okay, well, we're going to redevelop some of these areas in the cities that have been bladed alongside that.
00:06:05.000 And then, of course, you add in deport, I don't know, 50, 60, 70 odd million illegals.
00:06:11.000 That opens up a few spots as well.
00:06:13.000 I think all those things combined, we could end up with a really, really great outcome.
00:06:16.000 Just need to make sure that these land parcels are the right ones to put up for sale.
00:06:22.000 Very good.
00:06:23.000 Thank you, my friend.
00:06:24.000 Really appreciate it.
00:06:24.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:06:25.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:06:27.000 Okay, who do we have next?
00:06:31.000 We're honored to be partnering with Alan Jackson Ministries.
00:06:34.000 And today I want to tell you about a book by Pastor Allen that you'll want to read.
00:06:39.000 It's called God Bless America Again.
00:06:42.000 It tells the truth about our history, how our nation was formed on biblical principles, and the importance of protecting our Judeo-Christian foundations as we move forward.
00:06:50.000 God has given us an assignment to bring our faith into our world today, and here's the catch.
00:06:55.000 It starts with focusing on our own attitudes.
00:06:58.000 When you take time to understand how God has consistently blessed America, pouring his grace and mercy on us over and over again, it will give you hope for the days ahead.
00:07:06.000 We cannot afford to forget our past, good and bad, or we will forfeit the best opportunities of our future.
00:07:12.000 God bless America again.
00:07:14.000 This book will sharpen your perspective on what it means to bring God's truth into our nation today.
00:07:19.000 Alan Jackson Ministries is working hard to bring back biblical truth back into our culture.

00:07:41.000 If you want to become a member, it's members.charliekirk.com.
00:07:44.000 Josh, thank you for being a member.
00:07:46.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:07:48.000 What's on your mind?
00:07:48.000 Hey, Charlie, how's it going?
00:07:50.000 Good.
00:07:51.000 How are you?
00:07:51.000 So I was wondering, I know about a month ago, you interviewed Dr. Gooch about Turning Point Academy.
00:07:57.000 Yes.
00:07:58.000 And so I applied to that and I actually got accepted.
00:08:00.000 So praise the Lord.
00:08:02.000 Thank you.
00:08:02.000 Yeah, so I was kind of wondering what kind of hopes for the outcomes for the students that are going to that.
00:08:07.000 What are you hoping that we can kind of get out of that after the nine months?
00:08:11.000 Well, I think, first of all, it's called Turning Point Academy Prep Year.
00:08:14.000 I'm going to do my best to actually be there at the beginning of it.
00:08:17.000 So basically, it's going to be nine months intensive on real scholarship on scripture, philosophy, economics, civics.
00:08:25.000 The best thinkers on the planet are going to be spending time with you diving into original source texts in a nine month period that will develop the most important two things, your soul and your character, in a way where you will be able to spend serious time in a one-on-one type environment with your professor.
00:08:43.000 I mean, you're going to be in a very close, you know, quarters.
00:08:46.000 By the way, this is all happening in Fort Worth.
00:08:47.000 It's beautiful facilities.
00:08:48.000 It's absolutely incredible.
00:08:51.000 It's really, really something.
00:08:52.000 Our goal is that you are going to get a world-class type experience in a short period of time, in nine months, that will change you for the rest of your life.
00:09:00.000 You'll be able to better defend the scriptures.
00:09:02.000 You'll be better to understand what is the good, the true, and the beautiful.
00:09:06.000 Who is Socrates and Aristotle and Aquinas and Augustine and Plato?
00:09:11.000 And so that is the goal of Turning Point Academy, all pointing towards Jesus Christ, to give you in nine months, in a prep year type environment, what colleges should be doing.
00:09:21.000 So thrilled you're doing it, my friend, and hope to see you there.
00:09:24.000 Thank you very much.
00:09:25.000 Thank you.
00:09:26.000 Okay, it's members.charliekirk.com.
00:09:28.000 That's members.charliekirk.com.
00:09:30.000 I'll read the question.
00:09:31.000 Charlie, you are a blessing.
00:09:33.000 I'm praying for you to be strengthened in God's love and kindness.
00:09:36.000 Psalm 32. Anyway, what is the word on homeschool funding, if any?
00:09:40.000 Is it only an investment fund?
00:09:42.000 I'm not exactly sure what that question means, but I'm guessing you're saying, you know, will school choice dollars follow homeschooling?
00:09:51.000 Yes, I mean, I hope they do.
00:09:53.000 They don't currently yet, I believe.
00:09:56.000 But I believe that if you want to homeschool your kids, then you should be able to use your tax dollars to be able to go back to yourself because you're the ones that are then doing the homeschooling.
00:10:04.000 So thank you for that.
00:10:05.000 Okay, let's go to the next one.
00:10:06.000 Elizabeth, thank you for being a member.
00:10:08.000 What is on your mind?
00:10:09.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:10:10.000 Thank you so much for taking my call.
00:10:12.000 And just let you know, we are praying for Dennis Prager every day for a full recovery.
00:10:16.000 Thank you.
00:10:17.000 I actually saw, so can I pause you?
00:10:19.000 I saw Dennis at the hospital a couple days previously on my way to Washington.
00:10:26.000 He's steadily improving.
00:10:28.000 He's still in very serious condition, but he's mentally all there.
00:10:32.000 And Dennis, the number one message he wanted me to share with you guys, and I have to say it every day on the show for a couple days, Dennis said, Charlie, make sure you remind people the moral differences between Israel and Iran. 0.74
00:10:43.000 So that is the message I'm carrying from Dennis Prager to you.
00:10:46.000 And you should keep on praying for Dennis Prager.
00:10:48.000 But Elizabeth, please continue.
00:10:50.000 Well, the reason that I'm calling is more of a domestic issue.
00:10:53.000 I spend probably too much time on X, but that's where you have to go to get independent journalists.
00:10:58.000 And I guess what can be done about these insane democratic lawmakers abusing ICE agents and ICE facilities like they are tweens performing a bad TikTok challenge? 0.67
00:11:11.000 When I look at what they are doing, it is reprehensible, and dare I say the word tyrannical, that they have the audacity to show up to these people's place of work while they are employed at their workplace and physically assaulting them or demanding that they drop everything as soon as they get there to let them in.
00:11:32.000 And it is galling that they're doing this for ICE facilities and this has not gotten enough press coverage.
00:11:38.000 Rikers Island has been taken out of New York City control.
00:11:42.000 There were 6,784 stabbings in Rikers Island just in 2023 alone and 33 deaths since 2022.
00:11:52.000 How come all of these I'm so righteous, I'm so worried people never visit American prisons to look at American prisoners and see the quality of their conditions?
00:12:04.000 Wonderful question.
00:12:05.000 First of all, anyone that gets in the way of these ICE facilities or ICE arrests, they should all be arrested.
00:12:12.000 Completely.
00:12:12.000 Agree.
00:12:13.000 The New York City mayoral candidate, Brad Lander, who was arrested a few days ago for abstracting ICE agents, is now back at the same courthouse doing it again.
00:12:22.000 And so these left-wing Democrats, they're trying to get social media virality and they're trying to get, let's just say, more notoriety.
00:12:31.000 Just arrest them.
00:12:32.000 Don't make a big show trial out of it.
00:12:34.000 Arrest them, move on.
00:12:35.000 Representative LaMicah McIver has been indicted on three federal charges related to an incident outside of the Delaney Hall Federal Immigration Facility in Newark, New Jersey on May 9th, 2025.
00:12:47.000 And Alex Padilla got what he wanted.
00:12:48.000 He was quickly put on MSNBC playing the victim.
00:12:51.000 So we should arrest them all.
00:12:52.000 We should be very prudent and focused in the way that we're doing this.
00:12:56.000 And so thank you for your question.
00:12:58.000 Really appreciate it.
00:12:59.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:13:00.000 Have a good weekend.
00:13:01.000 Thank you.

00:14:47.000 And she wants to know what's going to be on the agenda.
00:14:50.000 Well, we haven't announced it yet, but I can imagine some very big speakers.

00:16:08.000 So I would encourage your membership team, come to Student Action Summit July 11th, 12th, 13th in Tampa, Florida, SAS2025.com.
00:16:16.000 God bless you.
00:16:17.000 Thank you so much.
00:16:18.000 Let's go to our next question here, members.charliekirk.com.
00:16:21.000 Gracie, thank you for being a member.
00:16:22.000 What's on your mind?
00:16:24.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:16:24.000 I just turned 18 on Monday and I'm navigating through a new season in my life.
00:16:29.000 And I wanted to know if you could provide me with any advice.
00:16:32.000 Well, thank you.
00:16:33.000 That's a beautiful question.
00:16:35.000 What is your plan?
00:16:36.000 Are you going to college?
00:16:37.000 Are you pursuing a career?
00:16:38.000 And what is your goal?
00:16:40.000 I'm not totally sure.
00:16:42.000 I'm sorry.
00:16:43.000 No, that's okay.
00:16:44.000 That's okay that you don't know.
00:16:46.000 In fact, not knowing is knowing a lot, actually.
00:16:49.000 So you're 18 years old.
00:16:52.000 You have your entire life in front of you.
00:16:55.000 If you want to pursue a career, that's awesome.
00:16:57.000 And I can help advise you on that.
00:16:59.000 If you want to pursue a family, I can also advise you on that.
00:17:03.000 I mean, I got in a lot of trouble at the Young Women's Leadership Summit.
00:17:06.000 Again, everyone is very deceptive in the way I said that.
00:17:08.000 I said, if your top priority in life is finding a husband, which it might be, then don't discount going to college with the intent of finding a husband.
00:17:16.000 It's a great place to find a husband. 1.00
00:17:17.000 And so the fact that you don't know is okay.
00:17:19.000 So here's what I would recommend to you, Gracie.
00:17:22.000 Jordan Peterson has something called Maps of Meaning.
00:17:28.000 I'm drawing from memory.
00:17:28.000 I saw Jordan the other day here in Arizona, where you can literally take a test and a quiz and will help you figure out what you want to do at a young age.
00:17:37.000 I highly encourage you to do it.
00:17:39.000 It's also called the self-authoring program.
00:17:43.000 So Gracie, our team will send that to you. 0.57
00:17:46.000 And I think you could really enjoy that and benefit from that.
00:17:48.000 So Gracie, God bless you.
00:17:49.000 Thank you so much.
00:17:50.000 Thank you.
00:17:51.000 Greg, thank you for being a member.
00:17:53.000 Members.charliekirk.com.
00:17:54.000 What's on your mind?
00:17:55.000 Yes, okay.
00:17:56.000 Thank you.
00:17:56.000 Sorry.
00:17:57.000 So when we're dealing with possibly the end of civilizations, we know it.
00:18:00.000 If things go wrong, if things go as bad as they could, but if we do have some neutron bombs hidden, if we took out Tehran with a neutron bomb and took out the Mosi Aitoa, all the leadership, and they don't even know what hit them. 0.77
00:18:14.000 And I don't know, why not?
00:18:16.000 Okay, so just to make sure I'm understanding your question, are you recommending dropping a neutron bomb on Tehran?
00:18:23.000 Yes.
00:18:24.000 Okay.
00:18:25.000 So you can see that.
00:18:26.000 I mean, is it possibly?
00:18:26.000 I mean, no, keep going.
00:18:29.000 No, you said the thing is, one option is the end of civilization.
00:18:33.000 We know it.
00:18:34.000 If World War III breaks out, if we hit Tehran with a neutron bomb and they don't even know what hit them. 0.87
00:18:43.000 So just so you're clear, like 3 million people would die, including kids and civilians.
00:18:51.000 That's a proposal?
00:18:53.000 How many people would die if we left this film to World War III?
00:18:57.000 Hold on, first of all, there's no guarantee this is going to go to World War III.
00:19:00.000 Second of all, I reject the premise that we should drop an atomic or nuclear weapon on the way a neutron bomb works, that's an enhanced radiation weapon.
00:19:15.000 It's a type of thermonuclear weapon designed to have maximum lethal radiation while minimizing blast damage.
00:19:22.000 So basically, you would kill the entire population with radiation over a period of time.
00:19:27.000 And yes, it is a type of a thermonuclear weapon, okay?
00:19:30.000 So a neutron bomb is just a semantical difference, okay?
00:19:33.000 So maybe not, maybe not on maybe not on Tehran.
00:19:36.000 But I mean, if we don't stop them from what they're doing, I think it's leading to World War III.
00:19:41.000 I don't know how to stop it.
00:19:42.000 So a neutron bomb is not a good idea.
00:19:44.000 But stopping Iran somehow from getting a nuclear weapon, but not us getting boots on the ground or them taking out our carriers. 0.88
00:19:52.000 Right.
00:19:53.000 So just, I want to understand a little bit of the contradiction here, respectfully.
00:19:57.000 You potentially started with dropping a nuke to stop them from getting a nuke.
00:20:02.000 If that's what it takes is.
00:20:05.000 I mean, we're drop it in the desert.
00:20:08.000 Just share them with it, but I don't know.
00:20:10.000 Right.
00:20:11.000 Are you a Christian?
00:20:13.000 Yes.
00:20:14.000 Okay.
00:20:14.000 So I would have you probably try to reconsider that view that indiscriminate killing of civilians and women and children, regardless of what story you're telling you that it's going to prevent World War III, is probably not God's intent for the people of Persia.
00:20:30.000 Well, I'm a Christian, but I believe the Old Testament too.
00:20:33.000 I mean.
00:20:36.000 Right.
00:20:37.000 So I believe the Old Testament too, like God created them in the image of God.
00:20:43.000 All people are image bearers.
00:20:44.000 And so dropping nuclear weapons is probably bad.
00:20:48.000 So, but if we go to World War III.
00:20:52.000 Right.
00:20:52.000 Okay.
00:20:52.000 So again, there's no guarantee anything's going to World War III.
00:20:55.000 And even if we were going to go to World War III, there's no world that I could justify dropping a nuclear neutron bomb for the annihilation of a city to solve our problems.
00:21:07.000 I don't think Christ would favor the annihilation of a city.
00:21:11.000 In fact, I remember the teaching is blessed are the peacemakers, not blessed are the nuclear bomb droppers. 0.96
00:21:18.000 Yes, and I'm sorry.
00:21:20.000 I don't want to take up any more of your time, but I just, whatever it takes to stop Iran from nuking Israel is my concern. 0.91
00:21:28.000 Thank you for your time.
00:21:29.000 I don't want a bunch of Americans dying.
00:21:31.000 Sure.
00:21:32.000 Okay, got it.
00:21:33.000 Thank you.
00:21:34.000 Okay.
00:21:35.000 Thank you for that.
00:21:36.000 Thank you for all you.
00:21:37.000 God bless President Trump because he has to deal with senators like that that are calling for him to do irrational things.
00:21:43.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:21:44.000 Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:21:47.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
