00:02:48.000Now, one of my favorite people that spoke out against just micro and macro economics and bad economics is Milton Friedman.
00:02:58.000Milton Friedman is one of the most clear and wise communicators of monetary policy and what it meant to actually be able to stave off inflation.

00:03:13.000So, let's go to Cut 102, Milton Friedman on inflation.
00:03:17.000In 1973, Japanese housewives going to market were faced with an unpleasant fact.
00:03:24.000The cash in their purses seemed to be losing its value.
00:03:30.000Prices were starting to soar as the awful story of inflation began to unfold once again.
00:03:40.000The Japanese government knew what to do.
00:03:42.000What's more, they were prepared to do it.
00:03:45.000When it was all over, economists were able to record precisely what had happened.
00:03:50.000In 1971, the quantity of money started to grow more rapidly.
00:03:55.000And as Milton Freeman details in this Free to Choose Network broadcast, that when production stays constant or goes down and you increase the money supply intentionally, then everyday normal people are going to get crushed.

00:06:47.000And inflation also begs itself to be a gateway for mass immigration.
