Transcript

00:00:48.000 I'm Andrew Colvett, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:52.000 And I'm joined today by Charlie's chief of staff, Mikey McCoy, the great Mikey McCoy, and of course, Blake Neff, one of the producers here.
00:01:02.000 Wait, we have a great Mikey McCoy, too?
00:01:04.000 We have a great.
00:01:04.000 I thought it was just great.
00:01:05.000 The great, great.
00:01:05.000 The great, great.
00:01:07.000 It's acceptable.
00:01:08.000 The solidly acceptable.
00:01:10.000 Mikey the Great or Michael McCarthy.
00:01:12.000 We are going to be having, listen, the show goes on, but so do Ask Me Anything Fridays.
00:01:20.000 And also, we're going to do that in hour one today.
00:01:24.000 For anybody that's a part of the members community, members.charliekirk.com.
00:01:29.000 You can call in, ask questions live on air, and we're going to answer them to the best of our ability.
00:01:34.000 And we'll see what happens.
00:01:36.000 It's always one of those days when that happens.
00:01:39.000 Even when Charlie was here, we never quite knew what we were going to expect and what we were going to get.
00:01:44.000 And then in hour two, we're going to show some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage from Charlie's Asia trip.
00:01:55.000 And Mikey and Blake were both traveling with Charlie when that happened.
00:01:58.000 So I'm really excited about that to see some stuff that nobody's ever seen before.
00:02:03.000 And that was a trip.
00:02:04.000 I mean, how many days was that before?
00:02:07.000 It was 65 hours in Asia between both Korea and Japan.
00:02:11.000 But what were the dates?
00:02:13.000 What were the days?
00:02:14.000 It was the weekend before, right?
00:02:15.000 was it would have been he got back on let's see here It would have been, he got there on the 5th through the 7th.
00:02:24.000 Right.
00:02:24.000 So he got back and then three days later.
00:02:27.000 So it's hard to watch, but also he was so happy and he was having so much fun that it's really good to watch.
00:02:34.000 And it's, I think, cathartic healing, all of those things.
00:02:37.000 And then we're, of course, going to have the great, and she does deserve that title, the great Erica Kirk is going to join us because she loves this audience.
00:02:48.000 She knew how much this audience meant to Charlie.
00:02:51.000 And she had told me she wanted, she's basically not doing anything, no media, no anything, but she's going to be right here and she wants to speak directly to you, the audience.
00:03:00.000 And I said, yeah, you know, whatever you want.
00:03:02.000 Like, as little as long, like, it's totally up to you.
00:03:07.000 And let us know how we can serve you and help you.
00:03:09.000 And she was like, well, I just want to talk to the audience.
00:03:11.000 And I said, that's fantastic.
00:03:13.000 So stay tuned for that.
00:03:15.000 So let's get going.
00:03:17.000 We have members calls.
00:03:17.000 That's members.charliekirk.com.
00:03:20.000 And I believe the first up is Caleb.
00:03:23.000 Caleb, do we have you?
00:03:24.000 Are you there?
00:03:26.000 Yes, I'm right here.
00:03:27.000 Hi, how's it going?
00:03:28.000 Hey, Caleb.
00:03:30.000 I just wanted to ask what the plan is for future elections and the general election with turning point action.
00:03:36.000 And I want to know how I can best get involved.
00:03:39.000 I live in Washington State, so that's kind of a part area.
00:03:44.000 So Washington State is not a state that we're going to be focusing on.
00:03:49.000 However, when it gets closer to the election, what we do is we do these big volunteer drives where we'll book full hotels and room blocks, and we will give you an app and a list, and you can use the app to go knock on doors, make texts and phone calls, and try and chase ballots.
00:04:09.000 So that's all through turning point action.
00:04:11.000 We're going to be probably focusing on what we call building a new red wall because of the way the census is working.
00:04:18.000 More people are moving from blue northern states like New York or West Coast states like California, and they're moving to the red states, the Sunbelt.
00:04:27.000 So that would be Arizona, that would be Florida, Texas.
00:04:31.000 And because of that, there is an opportunity, if we properly counted the census, right, Blake, maybe you can touch on that, that we're going to have a lot more of an ability to get rid of what they used to call the blue wall, right?
00:04:45.000 So you heard about the blue wall was Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
00:04:51.000 That's the blue wall.
00:04:53.000 And Trump demolished the blue wall, but it's still one of those toss-up areas of the country, right?
00:04:58.000 We don't know what's going to happen in 2028.
00:05:00.000 They could be back in play.
00:05:01.000 I think if JD ends up running, that he's going to play very well in those states.
00:05:05.000 But the point is we can now form a new blue wall, and that would be holding Arizona.
00:05:11.000 All the gains that Charlie spearheaded here in the state of Arizona.
00:05:15.000 This was the best performing swing state by far.
00:05:17.000 We won it by almost six points and about 200,000 votes, a little less, but almost 200,000.
00:05:23.000 And we have a vision at Turning Point Action to completely fluoridify the fluoridification of Arizona.
00:05:30.000 That's the vision.
00:05:31.000 So you add Nevada.
00:05:32.000 That will be another state that we really want to make solidly red.
00:05:35.000 We think that we like the underlying momentum that we have in that state.
00:05:40.000 And then maybe a state like New Hampshire.
00:05:43.000 If you put those, where New Hampshire has more registered Republicans than Democrats, if you put those three states together, and if we get Nebraska to be a winner-take-all, which is still something that we're working on, you're going to create a map that's very, very, very, very hard for Democrats to win in the future.
00:05:58.000 Now, you still got to hold Georgia.
00:05:59.000 We've got great partners in Georgia that are activating already.
00:06:04.000 And I mean, listen, the midterms, it's anybody's game, right?
00:06:06.000 Historically, in the midterms, 2026, the incumbent party typically does not fare as well in the midterms from a congressional standpoint.
00:06:17.000 But I think everything's out the window this time.
00:06:19.000 I just think there is no historical parallel, both with Charlie's death, both with what's happened with immigration.
00:06:25.000 People still remember that, both the economy, if the economy's doing strong.
00:06:29.000 So how you can best get involved is just go to tpaction.com, get your name in, make sure you volunteer, join coalitions.
00:06:36.000 You can spearhead your own sort of grassroots level, county GOP level work.
00:06:41.000 What part of Washington are you in, Caleb?
00:06:44.000 I live in the 4th District.
00:06:47.000 Which part of the state?
00:06:50.000 I live in Tri-Cities, Washington, so Benton County.
00:06:53.000 Yeah, that's more conservative.
00:06:54.000 Tri-Cities is more conservative.
00:06:56.000 Right.
00:06:56.000 So, yeah, I mean, listen, you.
00:06:58.000 Yeah, and I'm going to be running with, well, I'm going to be helping Jared Sessler run for statements.
00:07:04.000 Fantastic.
00:07:04.000 Fantastic.
00:07:05.000 So what you should do is you should get your local GOP to get behind the Turning Point Action app.
00:07:11.000 That will absolutely supercharge what you guys can do.
00:07:14.000 And we have training sessions that we can do with local GOPs if you guys want to get the app and use it and chase ballots because that's ultimately what needs to be done.
00:07:24.000 The Republican Party is now the low-propensity party, meaning it used to be that we would poll behind, you know, in the sort of generic ballots.
00:07:33.000 You know, they poll which party do you prefer, but then we would make up the ground and then some on election day because our people would predictably come out.
00:07:40.000 Everything's changed in the era of Donald Trump.
00:07:42.000 Now we poll ahead, but then we don't show up.
00:07:45.000 And so our job as the grassroots is to make sure people show up, and that's what the Turning Point Action app does.
00:07:50.000 It identifies low-propensity voters, helps you focus your efforts on those people and get them out to the polls.
00:07:57.000 So thanks so much.
00:07:58.000 Yeah, thanks so much, Caleb.
00:07:59.000 Thank you for wanting to get involved.
00:08:01.000 And you honor Charlie when you get involved in the movement.
00:08:04.000 You make it stronger, as Erica says.
00:08:06.000 Yeah, I just turned 18 and I have never wanted to get more involved since then.
00:08:10.000 God bless the 10th.
00:08:11.000 Feel free to start a turning point chapter too at your, oh, perfect.
00:08:16.000 Awesome.
00:08:16.000 Yeah, I started one and I've helped get four more started recently.
00:08:21.000 God bless you, man.
00:08:21.000 That's great.
00:08:22.000 That's fantastic.
00:08:23.000 Okay, well, maybe we'll see it amphest then.
00:08:26.000 Yeah, see you.
00:08:27.000 Thank you.
00:08:28.000 Sean, you are up next.
00:08:30.000 Sean, what's your question?
00:08:32.000 Hey, guys.
00:08:33.000 Thanks for having me on.
00:08:35.000 Absolutely.
00:08:36.000 Charlie was really well-versed on a lot of topics.
00:08:39.000 I mean, I don't know if I know a person that was more well-versed across all the different subjects.
00:08:44.000 Do you see a more segmented approach in the future for TPUSA?
00:08:47.000 And if so, what role do you think Christian apologetics could play moving forward?
00:08:53.000 Well, go ahead, Blake.
00:08:54.000 Yeah.
00:08:55.000 So Blake, you're first on a lot of topics.
00:08:58.000 No, it's definitely Charlie definitely was, among other things, he had a huge, very broad knowledge base.
00:09:05.000 He loved to pick up tons of knowledge in different areas.
00:09:07.000 He had a ton of knowledge in different areas.
00:09:10.000 We would talk about, we've talked about how impressive he was in terms of being an organizer, in terms of being a political activist, in terms of being involved inside the White House and still really caring to pick up that broad base of historical knowledge, philosophical knowledge, Christian knowledge.
00:09:26.000 None of us can match that, to be frank.
00:09:28.000 He was always very proud, and Mikey can attest to this, that he would love to have Mikey quiz us on Bible topics because that was something where he could beat me on a lot of those topics.
00:09:38.000 And he would ask me about history stuff.
00:09:39.000 So in general, going forward, all of us are going to be trying hard to step into his shoes.
00:09:43.000 But I do think you'll see a segmentation where maybe I'll answer really detailed political questions.
00:09:49.000 Maybe Erica herself could talk a lot about faith stuff.
00:09:52.000 So, Yeah, as I said, Charlie's breadth of what he was involved in is it was really what made him so exceptional, how many different things he had knowledge of from his own practical experience.
00:10:05.000 He could talk, you know, this is how this election is probably going to go because I've worked directly in a bunch of elections.
00:10:11.000 This is what's probably going on inside the Trump admin.
00:10:14.000 I've seen the inside.
00:10:15.000 I can't speak to everything that's going on there publicly, but you know, trust me, I've talked to people there.
00:10:20.000 He could do that with so much credibility.
00:10:22.000 And like, okay.
00:10:23.000 I've never actually been inside the Oval Office.
00:10:26.000 I've never been inside the West Wing.
00:10:30.000 Whereas, like, no one else is really interested in all the weird historical arcana that I'm into.
00:10:37.000 Not all of us have the same base of biblical knowledge.
00:10:40.000 So we are going to see some segmentation on that front.
00:10:43.000 I think the faith one is going to be a really important one for us to cultivate.
00:10:46.000 I know Erica's very great on that.
00:10:47.000 We obviously have a lot of pastor friends.
00:10:49.000 You're pretty good on that too, yourself, Mikey.
00:10:51.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:10:51.000 The other thing Charlie, I have some pastor friends.
00:10:55.000 The other thing Charlie is really good at is it was the Charlie effect.
00:10:58.000 And Dr. Larry Arn talked about this, how he met this young kid who told him he was really passionate about politics and wanted to enter into that world.
00:11:06.000 Dr. Arn didn't take him seriously.
00:11:08.000 And then a week later, he gets a text message from Charlie.
00:11:10.000 He doesn't know how he got his phone number, but it's a certificate of a completed Hillsdale online course.
00:11:15.000 And then Charlie went on to do all 31 courses.
00:11:18.000 And so when Charlie would do something, he'd commit himself 100% to doing it.
00:11:23.000 And so when I first started with him, he said, your first task is to watch every single Dennis Prager fireside chat.
00:11:29.000 And so that's what you do.
00:11:30.000 Once he was interested in the topic, he would just commit himself entirely to it.
00:11:35.000 And what Blake said too, in his free time, he was wanting to be quizzed on Bible stuff.
00:11:40.000 That was the foundation of everything in his life.
00:11:42.000 He loved God, so he wanted to understand God.
00:11:45.000 And that meant every single free moment he had, he was looking at quizzes, reading his scriptures, everything.
00:11:51.000 Yeah.
00:11:52.000 Yeah.
00:11:54.000 Have you ever heard someone say this is unconstitutional?
00:11:58.000 Do you assume that that's just hyperbole?
00:12:01.000 Have you taken the time to study and understand the Constitution so that you know for yourself what is and isn't constitutional?
00:12:09.000 That's why we here at the Charlie Kirk Show are so excited that Hillsdale College is offering a brand new free online course called the Federalist.
00:12:17.000 And as you guys know, Charlie was obsessed with taking all of the Hillsdale College online courses.
00:12:24.000 The Federalist papers were written primarily by Alexander Hamilton and James Madison.
00:12:28.000 Together, they explain how the United States Constitution established a government strong enough to secure the rights of citizens and safe enough to wield that power.
00:12:37.000 And today, it's our responsibility to pay attention, to be vigilant, you might say, in order to preserve and protect Republican self-government.
00:12:47.000 Hillsdale's online course on the Federalist includes 10 lectures, each about 30 minutes long.
00:12:52.000 You can take the course at your own pace.
00:12:54.000 There's no cost to sign up.
00:12:56.000 And because Charlie loved Hillsdale so much, I think it's only fitting that he is the one who tells you where to go.
00:13:03.000 Go right now to charlieforhillsdale.com to enroll.
00:13:06.000 There's no cost and it's easy to get started.
00:13:08.000 That's C-H-A-R-L-I-E for Hillsdale.com.
00:13:11.000 CharlieForhillsdale.com.
00:13:12.000 America's greatest college, CharlieForhillsdale.com.
00:13:18.000 We talked about this, and I don't privately, I don't think it ever made its way onto the show yet.
00:13:22.000 But one of the things that was most remarkable about Charlie, and I, you know, having helped start this program with Charlie, remember it in this context, but it was, he did it in everything he touched in life.
00:13:35.000 He had this great follow-through.
00:13:37.000 You kind of touched on it a little bit.
00:13:38.000 But, you know, if he was going to start a podcast, it wasn't, you know, he wasn't going to be deterred, you know, in the early days if we fell behind in the rankings or something like that.
00:13:48.000 He would push, push, push, push, push.
00:13:49.000 And he was so dogged in his pursuit.
00:13:52.000 And I don't think I was wired That way originally, but it was so long ago that I don't even remember me being that way.
00:14:00.000 Like, Charlie fully transformed the people around him to be more like him.
00:14:06.000 He forced them to accept his strengths because there was a temptation, I think, to resist.
00:14:13.000 And then eventually, you're like, okay, he was right.
00:14:15.000 And if we just push through that wall, we were going to get to the other side and we were going to accomplish the goal.
00:14:19.000 Like, he just wouldn't stop.
00:14:21.000 I think a lot of entrepreneurs or what would be entrepreneurs, they have a great idea and then they can't follow through on it.
00:14:26.000 Charlie had incredible follow-through, which is why all of this exists.
00:14:31.000 And I only say that because I think one of the most important things for all of us around this table, anybody that is associated with turning point, anybody that's going to go out to campuses, our contributors, our students, is that we have to commit ourselves to following through and learning and growing and being the best versions of ourselves that we can be so that we can answer the tough questions just like he did.
00:14:54.000 Obviously, nobody's going to answer them the way and as good as he did, but we have to be better.
00:14:59.000 And that's, you know, that's incumbent on all of us.
00:15:01.000 And we all have our own little areas of specialization and curiosity.
00:15:06.000 So hopefully, you know, and branching out from there, people that go on campuses or speak at our events, we're going to bring in people that have specializations as well.
00:15:14.000 But it's going to be a group effort.
00:15:16.000 There's just no way around it.
00:15:17.000 Yeah.
00:15:19.000 Maybe we'll need like two-man Charlie squads, like two people who can like somewhat cover.
00:15:23.000 We're going to need like three people for one debate.
00:15:26.000 Yeah.
00:15:26.000 You know what I mean?
00:15:27.000 So prove us wrong.
00:15:28.000 Prove us wrong.
00:15:29.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:15:30.000 Prove me wrong.
00:15:31.000 According to my grammar.
00:15:32.000 All right.
00:15:33.000 Next up, I think we got somebody.
00:15:35.000 Daisy, do we have somebody?
00:15:38.000 Stacy.
00:15:39.000 Let's go, Stacy.
00:15:41.000 Hi.
00:15:42.000 Thanks for taking my question.
00:15:44.000 I just wanted to let you guys know that we are praying for your team, praying for Erica.
00:15:49.000 And my question is: during this tragedy, what has been one surprising thing that God has done for the team, giving peace and comfort during this time since Charlie's passing?
00:15:59.000 And what is like one fear right now you may have so that we, the audience, can pray for God to meet that need for the team?
00:16:07.000 Thank you so much.
00:16:07.000 That's such a sweet question.
00:16:09.000 And I know Mike, you had mentioned to me in the chat that you, so the floor is yours.
00:16:15.000 Yeah.
00:16:16.000 In terms of what God's done, which is just looking back and being in awe of it, the actual day that it happened, and Blake can attest to this too, since he was there, being in Utah.
00:16:29.000 I have no idea how I got through that day.
00:16:33.000 And everything at the hospital, from the decisions that had to be made to the peace that was given to me by the Lord.
00:16:40.000 I mean, it was evident that God was there.
00:16:45.000 I don't know how I was able to operate.
00:16:48.000 I felt looking back, I felt like my mind had just shut off and my body was just moving and doing everything that it had to do.
00:16:54.000 And then the days following that as well, coming back to Arizona, Air Force 2, you know, all those details.
00:17:02.000 Looking back on that, it was evident that the Lord's hand was involved entirely.
00:17:07.000 I don't know if you feel the same, Blake, but I definitely saw it with you.
00:17:11.000 I can say that.
00:17:14.000 I remember when your parents arrived, and that was like the first time I told them.
00:17:17.000 I was like, Mikey's been incredible today.
00:17:19.000 And I've only seen that in the days and weeks since.
00:17:26.000 It was remarkable to behold.
00:17:28.000 What I've taken, what I've taken personal comfort from was, and we'll get into this when we talk about the trip to Asia.
00:17:35.000 It was, I was only really just appreciating how big Charlie had become, how much he meant to so many people around the world.
00:17:41.000 And then seeing that the universal reaction around the world of the scale of the reaction around the world, how many people he touched, how many people he's touching because of this.
00:17:55.000 I've been telling people I want to get multiple of those freedom shirts because it's great to wear them around.
00:18:00.000 And the people who react to it, who have been telling me, I never watched Charlie before, but now I can't get enough of him.
00:18:06.000 It's like, it's incredible the life he lived.
00:18:08.000 He's inspiring me so much.
00:18:10.000 I saw a post on X the other day where someone, I think they like, he was also wearing one of those shirts or something.
00:18:17.000 And the guy just, you know, is like, oh, did you know him?
00:18:20.000 He's like, yeah, I met him.
00:18:21.000 And the guys just start sobbing.
00:18:22.000 He's like, I started going to church again now because of this.
00:18:25.000 And millions of people are having interactions like this all around.
00:18:29.000 I'm getting messages where people say, my church, which never talks about public figures, the sermon was about Charlie and then his martyrdom.
00:18:37.000 And I've drawn a lot of meaning from that.
00:18:40.000 You know, what we've all said, that Charlie always wanted to have a revival.
00:18:46.000 And we're seeing those signs of that across America and around the world.
00:18:50.000 Yeah, and we've gotten messages from people saying their marriage is better.
00:18:53.000 At the memorial, I had somebody grab me.
00:18:55.000 This is a pretty high-profile person, and they shook me.
00:18:58.000 They said, I am a changed person after last week.
00:19:02.000 I need you to understand that I'm a better father.
00:19:04.000 I'm a better husband.
00:19:05.000 I'm a better Christian.
00:19:07.000 I'm a changed man.
00:19:09.000 And it wasn't just him.
00:19:10.000 I've heard that message hundreds of times.
00:19:12.000 I had people sending me some.
00:19:13.000 Yeah, I had a very high-profile Fox host tell me the same.
00:19:17.000 Like, I will never be the same.
00:19:18.000 Yeah.
00:19:18.000 I am changed.
00:19:20.000 And I think so.
00:19:21.000 The prayer is, you know, if we is that the harvest would be so unmistakable and unbelievable that we really would see revival and that we would be faithful stewards of what Charlie put, you know, implanted in all of our hearts.
00:19:42.000 And I just want to read this because we got a minute.
00:19:45.000 Daisy just sent us an image that was a message that she was sent, and no names are in it, so I think we're okay.
00:19:52.000 We have two couple friends that have been impacted by this.
00:19:55.000 One couple was on the brink of divorce.
00:19:57.000 The husband apologized to his wife and said he needed to start treating her better and leading his family better.
00:20:03.000 This is the first time in their 15 years together.
00:20:06.000 They started praying in the morning and the night together as a couple.
00:20:10.000 Another couple we went to church with stopped attending a year ago.
00:20:13.000 We have repeatedly invited them back.
00:20:15.000 This weekend, they were back.
00:20:17.000 Wow.
00:20:17.000 And you see Tim Allen, too.
00:20:19.000 He just forgave his father shooter for the first time.
00:20:22.000 That was incredible.
00:20:23.000 And he said that it was Erica's courage on stage.
00:20:27.000 Yeah, you can see the tweet right there.
00:20:28.000 It was Erica's courage on stage to forgive that led him to forgive the man that murdered his father 60 years ago.
00:20:37.000 I think we labeled these Forgiveness Fridays.
00:20:40.000 Forgiveness Fridays, yeah.
00:20:41.000 Who do we forgive?
00:20:42.000 It's kind of like festivists for the rest of us.
00:20:44.000 Charlie loves that.
00:20:46.000 So, Stacey, I think just to round out the, you know, I would have, I would say, pray for our safety, pray for our families.
00:20:52.000 A lot of us, everybody around this table is sort of been thrust into a much more public position than we had ever wanted or anticipated.
00:21:01.000 And we are doing it out of duty and honor and a desire to love.
00:21:08.000 Yeah, we love Turning Point.
00:21:10.000 We love Charlie.
00:21:11.000 We love Erica.
00:21:12.000 We love the mission.
00:21:14.000 And, you know, we are, what would Charlie do?
00:21:18.000 I think I asked myself that a lot.
00:21:20.000 And I asked myself that probably a dozen times a day, various decisions or things that come up.
00:21:27.000 And so pray for us that we would stay humble and stay low and stay close to Jesus.
00:21:33.000 And I would say, you know, I've said this before, but there were so many instances where Charlie would have this amazing success, like this amazing thing would happen.
00:21:43.000 And he would quickly type back to me personally.
00:21:46.000 He'd go, just stay humble, stay close to Jesus.
00:21:49.000 And I'll always remember that because that is the mantra.
00:21:53.000 That's the drumbeat.
00:21:54.000 And, you know, just pray that we, at Turning Point, that we would be faithful stewards of all of this explosive growth, of this chapter growth, of these opportunities to continue the mission of Charlie.
00:22:07.000 And we have every intention to do it.
00:22:10.000 So when we get high, we need to be humbled.
00:22:12.000 When we get low, need to stay positive.
00:22:14.000 Stay humble.
00:22:15.000 That's Charlie.
00:22:16.000 It's Charlie.
00:22:17.000 That's literally, Daisy just sent me his message that we have.
00:22:22.000 She just forwarded it to me.
00:22:23.000 Wow.
00:22:23.000 And I think back to election night when he sat right here.
00:22:26.000 First thing he did is he just gave all glory to God.
00:22:29.000 And there's actually a psalm that talks about that where you'll be known by the way you celebrate, essentially.
00:22:35.000 I'll have to find this first.
00:22:36.000 It was the first thing he did.
00:22:39.000 All glory to God.
00:22:40.000 I'm just humbled by God's grace.
00:22:41.000 That's right.
00:22:42.000 There it is.
00:22:42.000 That was such a beautiful moment.
00:22:44.000 And all of us were here for that.
00:22:46.000 And I watched that clip back in the days after the election so many times, and it would make me cry every time.
00:22:55.000 I don't want to be known as the sobbing guy, but it was literally two instances.
00:22:59.000 What just happened?
00:23:00.000 And this.
00:23:01.000 I mean, I think, hopefully, you guys will forgive me for that.
00:23:03.000 But yeah, it would make me misty seeing him get misty, you know, because I know how much he left on the field.
00:23:10.000 As you said, in the moment, you know, if anybody deserves to get a little emotional, it's Charlie because of how hard he worked for that moment.
00:23:16.000 But I just always think how I'm forever just going to be the guy boringly droning in that clip.
00:23:21.000 No, that was Jack.
00:23:22.000 That was Jack.
00:23:23.000 No.
00:23:24.000 All right.
00:23:25.000 Next question.
00:23:27.000 I believe we have Gentry.
00:23:29.000 Hey, guys.
00:23:30.000 Thanks for doing this show.
00:23:33.000 We've been praying for all you guys.
00:23:35.000 My question is, I wanted to ask who Charlie's mentors were and his favorite books.
00:23:43.000 Obviously, the Bible.
00:23:44.000 I know a lot of people have been buying Bibles and reading that, but I was also curious what his other favorite books were and his mentors.
00:23:55.000 I would say there's a lot of answers to that.
00:23:59.000 So, you know, Bill Montgomery was the one that sort of saw Charlie speaking at a tea party rally when he was 18.
00:24:06.000 And the way that it was told to me by Bill was everybody was like sleeping, and Charlie gets to stage and everybody kind of their ears perked up and they were like, wow, who is this kid?
00:24:15.000 So Bill was the first one to sort of take, and Bill was a really sweet guy, took an interest in Charlie, knew that he could sort of was the first, he gets the great credit of being one of the first to see the potential in Charlie.
00:24:27.000 And God rest his soul.
00:24:28.000 He died in 2020.
00:24:30.000 But, you know, Charlie had a lot of mentors, including Dennis Prager and Frank Turek.
00:24:37.000 Frank Turek on, especially when it came to apologetics, Frank Turek was his go-to resource, and he would hit him up on a lot of this stuff.
00:24:44.000 And then I would say, you know, the Horowitz, David Horowitz was one of his early mentors, especially when it came to just networking and fundraising.
00:24:54.000 But he studied people that are living and people that are dead.
00:24:57.000 So there's no end of mentors.
00:25:00.000 Mikey, I don't know if you want to add to this, but.
00:25:03.000 He kind of had mentors for different things.
00:25:05.000 Yeah.
00:25:06.000 And he would do these things, Blake, you know about this, where he would fly somebody out and they would be there for like four to five days on end.
00:25:13.000 And they would just kind of loiter around the office.
00:25:15.000 But then what really happened where a lot of people at the office didn't see this is afterwards they would go to Charlie's house and we would do these whiteboard sessions, these epic whiteboard sessions.
00:25:26.000 Yeah, you'd do a spinal tap, suck all the S and S on it.
00:25:29.000 And Charlie would just sit there with his notebook.
00:25:31.000 He always had these spiral bound notebooks and he would just write and write and write and write.
00:25:37.000 And if he had an answer that he was struggling with, this is something I get on campus.
00:25:41.000 This is what I need help with.
00:25:42.000 And so that was anybody from, you know, Frank Turk to Dr. James Orr.
00:25:48.000 Well, I was going to say, I was just about to say, James Dr. Orr, who was on this week, was another one of Charlie's mentors.
00:25:54.000 And he was a newer person that came into his life, but he was so excited to absorb everything he could on the classics from Dr. James Orr.

00:27:16.000 So many times.
00:27:17.000 Now it's annoying because we'll have to go back and listen to all the stuff he said.
00:27:20.000 The one I always remember saying Man's Search for Meaning was one he would cite repeatedly.
00:27:26.000 Darkness at Noon.
00:27:28.000 Darkness at Noon.
00:27:29.000 I'm trying to make sure that – he would always say that in those Hillsdale ads, but I believe he also was a big fan of that book and would cite it.
00:27:35.000 1984.
00:27:36.000 1984.
00:27:37.000 Yeah.
00:27:38.000 In general, he would like very impactful books that were not too long because he was a very busy guy.
00:27:45.000 Age of Entitlement was a really important book for him.
00:27:48.000 Politically.
00:27:48.000 Politically, yeah.
00:27:49.000 Political philosophy.
00:27:51.000 Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning.
00:27:53.000 He would recommend that to everybody.
00:27:55.000 Did you say Darkness at Noon?
00:27:56.000 Yeah.
00:27:57.000 He loved that one.
00:27:58.000 He was really into – I'm trying to think all the books, man.
00:28:02.000 We just need to sit down and put it all together.
00:28:04.000 Now, because I know he got asked that in prior AMAs, and I think he even did like best – I always remember Man's Search for Meaning because that was his favorite book of 23, and he did kind of all of his reading in 2023, and he talked about that a lot.
00:28:16.000 Well, he started reading way, way, way, way more during COVID.
00:28:19.000 So COVID was a time where he took the shutdown and just started voraciously absorbing content.
00:28:27.000 And I actually – he used to kind of hate this question, by the way.
00:28:31.000 Before we forget, C.S. Lewis.
00:28:32.000 All the C.S. Lewis Christianity, screw tape letters.
00:28:32.000 He loved all the C.S. Lewis.
00:28:35.000 But it was some of the more obscure ones, too.
00:28:39.000 The Great Divorce.
00:28:39.000 The Great Divorce.
00:28:41.000 Anyways, so the point is, Charlie, I remember he would get kind of annoyed at this, not because it's not a good question.
00:28:41.000 Yeah.
00:28:47.000 It's a really good question.
00:28:48.000 It's just when you're on the spot being asked which books, you're like, and his favorite right at the end were two.
00:28:56.000 And it was Not Enough Faith to be an Atheist with Frank Turek.
00:29:00.000 But then he had just finished it.
00:29:02.000 And I just ordered my coffee.
00:29:04.000 And he was so, he was loving the book so much, but it was Doctrine by Mark Driscoll.
00:29:09.000 And he loved that book.
00:29:11.000 Yeah.
00:29:12.000 We're actually going to be talking about revival with him next week.
00:29:14.000 So stay tuned for that.
00:29:16.000 And Josh McPherson, we're going to have them both on.
00:29:19.000 Yeah.
00:29:19.000 And I think, so he had a lot of favorite books and he borrowed from a lot of people.
00:29:24.000 But like, let's commit to that as a team.
00:29:25.000 Let's go back through the archives, get all of his best answers.
00:29:28.000 And we will commit to you, the audience, to put together a comprehensive answer.
00:29:33.000 And we'll put it on the charliekirk.com and Charlie Kirk Book Club, like 12 of them.
00:29:37.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:29:38.000 We should.
00:29:39.000 One book at a time.
00:29:40.000 Yeah.
00:29:40.000 No, we should.
00:29:41.000 So it's a great, it's a great prompt and a great question.
00:29:44.000 It is hard to answer, though, on the spot because you're like, why didn't I remember all of these things?
00:29:49.000 Well, I could ask him whenever.
00:29:50.000 Yeah, I know.
00:29:51.000 There's this book when we were in Maine that he recommended.
00:29:54.000 He said it's called Overcoming Unwanted and Intrusive Thoughts.
00:29:57.000 And then he goes, but then I read it and it gave me all these unwanted and intrusive thoughts that I didn't know I needed and wanted.
00:30:05.000 Charlie was always very great about like this is something he shared with Trump, sort of that power.
00:30:12.000 He wasn't a full believer in power of positive thinking, but he was a very big believer.
00:30:15.000 He's just like, Blake, I think your level of happiness is basically decided by yourself.
00:30:19.000 And I remember once he was just like, you know, I could be sad about this, but I choose not to be.
00:30:26.000 So Daisy's mentioning in the chat that Ask Charlie Anything 183, The Road to 270, What Books to Read.
00:30:34.000 It's in the title.
00:30:35.000 So it was April 8th, 2024.
00:30:38.000 That's probably still on Rumble.
00:30:39.000 So you can go back and listen to Rumble, April 8th, 2024, The Road to 270.
00:30:45.000 Ask Charlie Anything 183.
00:30:47.000 So you can look up that title.
00:30:48.000 Ask Charlie Anything 183.
00:30:50.000 It'll be on Rumble.
00:30:51.000 That'll be on podcast apps.
00:30:52.000 So yeah, if you go to like the Omni app, I think you can get all of Charlie's podcasts.
00:30:52.000 Yeah.
00:30:57.000 So Omni is like a, it's a publisher, a syndicator of the RSS feed.
00:31:02.000 So if you go to Apple, some of the old ones are off.
00:31:05.000 They're not available there.
00:31:06.000 But if you go to Omni, you can search the Charlie Kirk show and all of them are there.
00:31:11.000 So yeah, we actually, we should, you know, just type in that title, Google, a bunch of ways to listen to it.
00:31:19.000 Okay.
00:31:19.000 It'll show up.
00:31:19.000 So type in Ask Charlie Anything 183, The Road to 270, what books to read, and it'll, it'll come up.
00:31:25.000 And one last thing, just on the mentor issue, I think I just want to emphasize that kind of shows he was a very talented man, but one of his like very strong core traits, even as Charlie was becoming a bigger person, a more prominent person, he had that humility.
00:31:25.000 Okay.
00:31:41.000 He had no embarrassment, no shame about seeking a ton of mentors.
00:31:45.000 Like, think about how, let's just say, how famous he was.
00:31:50.000 And he's still like, I want to take a weekend to learn from this person who is a lot less famous than I am, who is a lot less noteworthy than I am.
00:31:57.000 But I think I have a ton to learn from them.
00:31:59.000 I want a whole weekend to do it.
00:32:00.000 And he always was so loyal.
00:32:02.000 Charlie was the most loyal person to his friends.
00:32:05.000 So after that season of learning from you, he would never forget it.
00:32:09.000 And he would invite you to everything and stay in touch with you.
00:32:12.000 And one that comes to mind is you just briefly mentioned Andrew, but Dennis Prager was a huge mentor for Charlie.
00:32:19.000 And obviously the accident happened with Dennis.
00:32:23.000 Charlie made multiple trips to go visit Dennis on the east.
00:32:26.000 In the hospital, in the hospital.
00:32:28.000 Well, he went out to LA first and then he went to Georgia, Georgia.
00:32:32.000 And Charlie made multiple trips to both.
00:32:35.000 And he even just dedicated his new book, Stop in the Name of God, to Dennis Prager.
00:32:40.000 I think the title is from Dennis too, isn't it?
00:32:42.000 The title is from Dennis too.
00:32:44.000 And so, by the way, he was also, he would hit up Tony Robbins to talk to him.
00:32:50.000 And he loved his book, Big Influence, Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich.
00:32:54.000 So that's from a Chicago friend that's reminding me of those books.
00:32:59.000 So, all right.
00:33:01.000 Next question.
00:33:03.000 Who do we have?
00:33:04.000 Elizabeth.
00:33:05.000 Elizabeth, you were on with the Charlie Kirk show.
00:33:07.000 What's your question?
00:33:09.000 So I'm just curious with all with the enormity of inquiries you guys have had, which praise God for that.
00:33:17.000 With a child in high school and one in college, I cannot be happier to hear about all of that.
00:33:23.000 I'm just wondering what the vetting process is, how long you anticipate it will take to ensure that we're getting good leadership on these campuses, people with good, noble, pure intentions that are going to carry Charlie's Kirk, Charlie's torch onto this, onto the campuses with all these inquiries.
00:33:43.000 I imagine it's going to take a little bit of time to vet everybody and get everybody equipped.
00:33:49.000 Yeah, I mean, just to put it in perspective, we were getting somewhere around, let's say, 30 to 50 inquiries a week before this.
00:33:57.000 So to get, you know, over 120,000 is a Herculean task for the team.
00:34:02.000 I will tell you that we're exploring different ways to sort of do them in batches and groups, right?
00:34:10.000 And we have field team all around the country that usually will take an inquiry.
00:34:13.000 It will come in.
00:34:14.000 The field team will then go meet with that person and help them and give them all the tools they need to start that chapter.
00:34:20.000 So there will have to be some sort of hands-on piece of that.
00:34:24.000 And we're probably going to have to staff up.
00:34:26.000 And we have a lot of people that we can sort of bring into that team, train them up so they can reach more people.
00:34:31.000 It will take time.
00:34:33.000 It will take time because the way that a chapter is formed, you have to then get a sponsor at the school.
00:34:38.000 So you have to get a teacher or an administrator to say, hey, I'll put my name on this chapter.
00:34:43.000 Thankfully, in the aftermath, finding sponsors is a lot easier.
00:34:49.000 Chapters need an adult to help them.
00:34:52.000 And so now that's going to be easier.
00:34:54.000 I will say that, you know, you mentioned how do we know they're going to be doing this in good faith.
00:35:01.000 Well, one of the great things about having so many inquiries is a lot of those are duplicates from the same school.
00:35:06.000 I mean, we have way more inquiries than there are schools in the United States.
00:35:11.000 The way the college works is that once you hit about a thousand, you're kind of maxing out the possibility there.
00:35:18.000 So a lot of those inquiries on the college level, we're going to be able to plug them in to these chapters that are already functioning and in existence.
00:35:27.000 And they're probably going to be the next group that leads those chapters into the future.
00:35:32.000 And on the high school level, you know, there's about 23,000, 24,000 high schools in the country.
00:35:38.000 And we have every faith that one of Charlie's last desires, wishes, visions that he cast was that we're going to have a Club America chapter, which is our turning point high school brand.
00:35:50.000 We're going to have those in every single high school in America.
00:35:53.000 So even there, we've got duplicates, right?
00:35:56.000 We might have some homeschools.
00:35:57.000 We have a way to support homeschools or pod schools where different families get together and kind of share the load.
00:36:05.000 So we have ways to do all of those things.
00:36:07.000 And you're going to have duplicates.
00:36:08.000 So if, say, example, you know, A is that we have two or three applicants that want to start a turning point chapter at a certain high school.
00:36:16.000 Well, applicant A and applicant B might tell us applicant C is not in good faith or not the right person to do this and vice versa.
00:36:23.000 So we're going to have the ability to cross-check even at the local school level.
00:36:27.000 And the only other thing I would add is that we, the leaders of the chapter, so you elect the president of the chapter, the vice president chapter, et cetera, are selected appropriately.
00:36:40.000 And we also host an event every single year called our chapter leadership summit.
00:36:44.000 It's called CLS.
00:36:45.000 And this was always Charlie's favorite because he loved the energy of these leaders, these student leaders.
00:36:50.000 But that's where our team see them in person.
00:36:53.000 And if they're a bad cookie, they're removed from the bunch.
00:36:57.000 So we have a good vetting process.
00:36:59.000 Yeah, and I just actually sent your question, Elizabeth, to our field team.
00:37:03.000 And the answer we got back is that contacted within a month.
00:37:10.000 That's the promise.
00:37:11.000 So if you send an inquiry in, you'll be contacted within a month.
00:37:14.000 But the rest of the semester to be fully equipped with activism kits, training, school approval, et cetera.
00:37:21.000 So the way this typically works is about 30% of the leads convert.
00:37:27.000 So hopefully it's higher now.
00:37:29.000 But that's kind of the math that we, but even at 30%, we're in a position where Charlie's vision is really, we're at the cusp of that.
00:37:38.000 So we're going to be continuing this for all semester, but they will be contacted within a month by one of our staff at Turning Point.
00:37:48.000 That's awesome.
00:37:49.000 Yeah.
00:37:49.000 Praying for you guys.
00:37:52.000 I'm in Arizona.
00:37:53.000 So, I mean, I'll lick envelopes for you guys if that's what you need as far as help.
00:38:00.000 I just, I really, I actually applied for a job about a year ago to Turning Point, but I live clear across the valley.
00:38:09.000 So coming into the office every day was kind of not an option for me.
00:38:12.000 I think we determined that in my interview, but I will, I will drive out there once a week.
00:38:18.000 I will lick envelopes.
00:38:19.000 Like I said, I will do whatever you guys need.
00:38:22.000 If there's a way for me to sign up to serve, my family and I were in it.
00:38:29.000 I love that.
00:38:30.000 And those kind of messages keep me like my spirits really high because I know that we have so many people behind us and that they're doing it for Charlie and they're doing it for the mission.
00:38:42.000 And I believe that this is part of the harvest that we're going to experience in the aftermath here.
00:38:48.000 And I believe God has a plan and God has his hand on us.
00:38:50.000 So thank you so much.
00:38:53.000 And by the way, one of the talk about getting involved, I mean, please, at the Arizona level, Charlie so badly wanted to make Andy Biggs the next governor of this state.
00:39:05.000 And we're going to keep pushing that forward.
00:39:09.000 We're not giving up on that mission.
00:39:11.000 I think it's critically important.
00:39:12.000 We love Andy Biggs.
00:39:13.000 He's a good man.
00:39:14.000 He's a strong conservative.
00:39:16.000 Charlie and him were very close.
00:39:17.000 So please consider getting involved at Turning Point Action to become a ballot chaser, volunteer, download the app and get involved here in the state of Arizona.
00:39:26.000 We need your help.
00:39:27.000 All right.
00:39:28.000 Sounds good.
00:39:29.000 Thank you.
00:39:29.000 Thank you.
00:39:30.000 Yeah, I just got a note from one of our affiliates in North Dakota.
00:39:34.000 I think it's great.
00:39:35.000 He said, in my last interview with Charlie, I promised North Dakota would have the highest percentage of high school and college participants per capita in the nation.
00:39:43.000 Let's go.
00:39:44.000 There's a challenge for you: Texas, Arizona, Wisconsin, California, et cetera.
00:39:48.000 I agree.
00:39:49.000 I would love to see, let's see which state can be the best Turning Point state.
00:39:54.000 I don't know which one it would be.
00:39:56.000 If I had to, I wonder where we're strongest.
00:39:58.000 Well, we have to make it Arizona.
00:40:00.000 We have to make it Arizona.
00:40:01.000 That's probably true.
00:40:02.000 But I will tell you, there's like huge chapters at Clemson and UGA and Georgia.
00:40:08.000 I mean, people always complain about there being two Dakotas.
00:40:11.000 So maybe one could rename itself to Dakota and the other could name itself Turning Point State.
00:40:17.000 That would be North Dakota.
00:40:18.000 Wait, which one are you from?
00:40:19.000 I'm from South Dakota.
00:40:20.000 Well, I was born in North Dakota, but raised in South Dakota.
00:40:22.000 So I use that to confuse people.
00:40:23.000 That is confusing.
00:40:25.000 I think that's great.
00:40:26.000 Thank you, Scott, for sending that.
00:40:28.000 What's our next question?
00:40:29.000 Oh, wait.
00:40:30.000 Caleb and Michelle want to know how Daisy's doing.
00:40:32.000 How's the baby?
00:40:33.000 We've prayed for you.
00:40:34.000 Daisy is doing great.
00:40:37.000 You can just barely start to see.
00:40:40.000 You could just see.
00:40:41.000 I don't know.
00:40:41.000 I don't even think you can see.
00:40:43.000 No, it depends what she's wearing.
00:40:44.000 You can't see it like today.
00:40:45.000 She's wearing, I don't know.
00:40:47.000 I barely saw her, but you wouldn't notice it.
00:40:49.000 But like, there was one time I was like, hey, you got a little baby bump finally.
00:40:53.000 Like, you know, it's her first baby.
00:40:55.000 So, you know, I've had three.
00:40:56.000 I know how this goes.
00:40:57.000 The first one, you don't show as much.
00:41:00.000 And so she's kind of at that stage, but it's like she's getting close.
00:41:03.000 But baby's good.
00:41:04.000 She'll be 39 weeks at Amfest.
00:41:08.000 She had a wait, wait.
00:41:10.000 Tell everyone I was asked multiple times if I had a stomach ache on stage because I had my hand on my bump.
00:41:15.000 Did you have a stomach ache on stage?
00:41:18.000 Very big one.
00:41:19.000 Very big one.
00:41:20.000 Did you eat a.
00:41:21.000 She goes, no, I'm pregnant.
00:41:24.000 Yeah, because she doesn't look that pregnant.
00:41:26.000 So she's six months pregnant and she looks like the same.
00:41:29.000 It's very, you know, anyways, first baby thing.
00:41:32.000 So hopefully that answers it, but she's doing great and she's been an absolute rock star in this time.
00:41:36.000 She's helped keep the team together and handle all the coordination with the teams of people that have come, whether that was Tucker or Megan or Glenn.
00:41:44.000 She was helping coordinate all of that.
00:41:46.000 She's keeping the trains running on time.
00:41:47.000 So she's been amazing, amazing.
00:41:50.000 And she's laughing at me.
00:41:54.000 This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of YReFi.
00:41:58.000 It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us.
00:42:04.000 His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come.
00:42:10.000 Now, here Charlie, in his own words, tell you about why ReFi.

00:42:55.000 That is yrefy.com.
00:42:58.000 Private student loan debt relief, yrefi.com.
00:43:03.000 Okay, Zach, next question.
00:43:06.000 Zach.
00:43:07.000 Hey, how are you all doing?
00:43:09.000 Hey, Zach.
00:43:09.000 We're doing well.
00:43:10.000 What can I, what's your question?
00:43:13.000 Yeah, so the biggest thing for me that I've been wondering, especially in light, you know, ever really since Trump was first elected, how do we go about having decent conversations with one another as human beings?
00:43:25.000 You know, there's a lot of, I feel, tension.
00:43:29.000 And I love talking about politics with my friends.
00:43:31.000 A lot of them are poli-sci or economics, whatever it may be.
00:43:34.000 And we get on those topics, but it always seems like we start building the tension.
00:43:38.000 And I'm not really sure how we bring that down when we're in those conversations.
00:43:41.000 How we get back to a human level and really focus on what matters most.
00:43:46.000 And that's we do love each other at the end of the day.
00:43:49.000 We're brothers.
00:43:49.000 We've been friends for a long time.
00:43:51.000 But how do we navigate those situations?
00:43:53.000 Does anybody want to take this one?
00:43:55.000 Yeah.
00:43:56.000 Charlie would always ask questions.
00:43:58.000 And he said it was his secret weapon to kind of, if someone was coming in hot, down a little bit.
00:44:05.000 So his first is he would say, well, what evidence do you have for that claim?
00:44:09.000 And that was his first question that he would like to ask to somebody.
00:44:13.000 So asking questions, but then the hardest part is staying true to yourself because the other side doesn't necessarily come with good intentions in debate.
00:44:24.000 And so they're ready to yell at you or worse.
00:44:29.000 And so doing the Charlie effect is keeping calm, being kind, asking questions, and being the bigger person even when they're not is really kind of the secret weapon there.
00:44:42.000 What do you think, Blake?
00:44:43.000 Yeah, and I think it's always good.
00:44:46.000 Ultimately, you can only control yourself.
00:44:48.000 The rule I always like to remember for debates is remember, especially if it's in public, you're not just debating the person you're directly opposite.
00:44:56.000 You're sort of debating every single person who is watching, every person who's a witness to it.
00:45:02.000 And as a result, we should always be careful, like, not to disgrace ourselves, not to behave in ways that we'll regret later, because, you know, we are a representative of everyone who shares our views.
00:45:14.000 We're representative of our cause.
00:45:15.000 Always remember that.
00:45:16.000 And I think that will always encourage better behavior.
00:45:19.000 I would say that Charlie was really good at not dehumanizing the other side.
00:45:24.000 He always treated them as a human being.
00:45:27.000 And even when they don't treat you like a human being, that you could still sort of acknowledge, hey, you're not treating me with respect, but fine, I'm going to still answer your question.
00:45:36.000 And Charlie was really good at sussing out good faith, bad faith arguments.
00:45:39.000 And have confidence.
00:45:40.000 Your representation of the truth.
00:45:43.000 The truth is on your side.
00:45:44.000 Be confident about it.
00:45:45.000 So we have a question from Chris.
00:45:50.000 Chris, are you there?
00:45:52.000 Because we're looking for Chris.
00:45:54.000 We lost Chris.
00:45:55.000 No, it's our fault.
00:45:57.000 I threw a curveball at the studio.
00:46:01.000 And so now they have to go find Chris.
00:46:03.000 We were so close to like Amira.
00:46:05.000 No, we were close.
00:46:06.000 We had that friend.
00:46:09.000 Oh, we got her, Chris.
00:46:10.000 We got her.
00:46:11.000 Yay!
00:46:12.000 Oh, my gosh.
00:46:12.000 I'm so excited.
00:46:13.000 Thank you for taking my call, guys.
00:46:16.000 Thank you for being here and being a member.
00:46:19.000 We appreciate it.
00:46:20.000 Wow.
00:46:21.000 I'm just going to read to you what I wrote so that I don't mess it up.
00:46:25.000 I just wanted to thank y'all for working so hard to preserve Charlie's legacy.
00:46:31.000 I understand how important Charlie's relationship is within, or was within the Trump administration.
00:46:37.000 And do we foresee continuing those relationships to further advance the MAGA Maha agenda?
00:46:45.000 Yeah, I would say, and Mikey, you'd be good to chime in here as well.
00:46:49.000 So I would say one of the fascinating things in the immediate aftermath was just how many people that Charlie was communicating with reached out to our team, to me personally, you know, just to say, hey, I'm here.
00:47:05.000 This is my number.
00:47:07.000 Like, you know, we knew each other, but it was Charlie was maintaining all these relationships.
00:47:11.000 And it was like, we're not going anywhere.
00:47:13.000 Please let us know what we can do.
00:47:14.000 And those relationships have been blossoming and growing.
00:47:18.000 And so those friends of Charlie's in the admin want to maintain their friendships and maintain their connection to the organization to Erica.
00:47:27.000 I know Erica's had a ton of people that are very, very important people to this country reach out directly and just say how they could help.
00:47:37.000 And I know that she's ongoing having those conversations.
00:47:40.000 Yeah.
00:47:40.000 Without divulging too much, Erica is daily in contact with many, many, many people inside of the admin.
00:47:49.000 And so she had relationships with a lot of these people with Charlie and then also on her own.
00:47:56.000 But there's a podcast that Charlie and Erica didn't hear where one of you guys asked a question, who's more conservative?
00:48:03.000 Charlie said, Erica's way more based than I am.
00:48:06.000 So in regards to I got a Maha agenda.
00:48:10.000 I'd have no worry about Erica Kirk continuing that.
00:48:14.000 So hold on.
00:48:14.000 The actual quote was: Erica laughed.
00:48:17.000 She goes, Andrew always jokes that you became way more based once you married me.
00:48:23.000 And he's like, oh, yeah, totally.
00:48:24.000 And that was actually a joke that we had because I remember Charlie evolved on a lot of topics.
00:48:31.000 One of the things that we're trying to figure out, we're going to do this kind of like, we're going to try and catalog all of Charlie's clips and debates and all these things.
00:48:39.000 And we are, you know, one of the things I told Erica, I was like, he evolved on so many issues over time that if we're doing a large language model, you need to sort of weight the later opinions more because, you know, he just, he evolved on all of this stuff.
00:48:55.000 And he got ultra-based, yeah, thanks to Erica.
00:48:57.000 And I think some of us are on this table.
00:48:59.000 But, no, he was, he, he, we have those relationships.
00:49:04.000 And by the way, Maha, we love Maha.
00:49:08.000 RFK has been so kind.
00:49:10.000 And not just RFK, but Junior, but, you know, Bhattacharya and some of the other ones that are connected to that.
00:49:17.000 And we want to keep that going.
00:49:19.000 Alex Clark is obviously a huge proponent of that too.
00:49:22.000 And I think we have that clip of Erica and Charlie.
00:49:24.000 305.
00:49:25.000 305.
00:49:26.000 Let's play it.
00:49:26.000 My wife joins us, Erica Kirk, the beautiful legendary Erica.
00:49:31.000 I love you so much.
00:49:32.000 I love you.
00:49:32.000 You're my best friend.
00:49:33.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:49:35.000 We have asked the audience for questions.
00:49:37.000 You pick one.
00:49:38.000 Who is more conservative and why?
00:49:39.000 Erica.
00:49:42.000 Yes.
00:49:43.000 By far.
00:49:44.000 Not even close.
00:49:45.000 I am a moderate compared to Erica.
00:49:48.000 Andrew always jokes that once you got married to me, you got more based.
00:49:51.000 That's true.
00:49:52.000 That is true.
00:49:53.000 No, Erica is very conservative.
00:49:56.000 Do you think having kids made you more conservative?
00:49:58.000 100%.
00:50:00.000 Which I didn't think was possible.
00:50:03.000 But 100%.
00:50:04.000 Absolutely.
00:50:06.000 And a better wife.
00:50:08.000 Oh, love that.
00:50:10.000 I've seen all these edits on social media of that clip with this hype music and all these graphics flying on the screen.
00:50:17.000 So, like, I am.
00:50:18.000 I'm more conservative.
00:50:19.000 It's like, boom, boom, boom.
00:50:21.000 So she'll continue.
00:50:23.000 I've seen it mixed over with the like, you have no idea what you've unlocked.
00:50:26.000 Yeah, she is.
00:50:27.000 Oh, you have Erica now.
00:50:29.000 And by the way, just to reiterate, Erica Kirk will be joining us, I believe, at 1:30 Eastern.
00:50:35.000 I think that's about when she's coming on.
00:50:38.000 But again, it's whatever Erica wants to say or do with zero agenda other than she told me she wants to tell the audience how much you meant to Charlie and speak directly to people who loved him most.
00:50:50.000 And that was the people that are part of the Charlie Kirk show family all across the country and world.
00:50:56.000 You know, I know there's people that I've been getting notes from overseas that are watching our streams.
00:51:00.000 And so that's awesome too.
00:51:02.000 So anyways, Erica's coming.
00:51:03.000 Do you want to say anything else about Erica?
00:51:05.000 Because you know Erica really, really well because you traveled with Charlie and Erica so much.
00:51:09.000 Yeah.
00:51:09.000 She's also very strategic and takes Charlie is very fast-paced and he would travel all the time.
00:51:16.000 She's more measured.
00:51:18.000 She's more scheduled and measured.
00:51:20.000 So she's Charlie always had the vision in the long game and she has that too.
00:51:25.000 But she's like, it's fun seeing her kind of piece it all together.
00:51:28.000 She's very clear thinking.
00:51:30.000 She's got like a very organized brain.
00:51:34.000 So we have some that are written.
00:51:35.000 Hi, I have two questions for the show today and have put them below.
00:51:38.000 Thank you.
00:51:39.000 What do you think Charlie would want young Christians to remember most about living in their faith?
00:51:44.000 And what was one of the most powerful moments you witnessed of Charlie living out his faith behind the scenes?
00:51:50.000 I would like to take the second one first.
00:51:53.000 This was a little moment that does not paint me in a great light, but it paints Charlie in a great light.
00:51:58.000 So I will gladly share it.
00:52:01.000 It was about a week before he died, and there was something that was going on.
00:52:06.000 It was just a little annoyance.
00:52:07.000 I can't even remember what it was.
00:52:08.000 I should probably actually go back in the text and figure out what it was because I probably have it.
00:52:13.000 But, you know, I just said, why don't we just tell him XYZ?
00:52:16.000 And essentially I was saying, tell a little white lie.
00:52:19.000 It'll make the problem go away.
00:52:20.000 It's no big deal.
00:52:21.000 It wasn't even an important thing.
00:52:22.000 And Charlie wrote back instantly, we don't lie.
00:52:26.000 And it was a really powerful moment for me because it was completely in private.
00:52:30.000 It was completely in secret.
00:52:32.000 Nobody would, you know, nobody would ever see what he said.
00:52:35.000 And he just said, we don't lie.
00:52:37.000 And the message was implicit.
00:52:39.000 And we means me.
00:52:41.000 It means Mikey.
00:52:41.000 It means Blake.
00:52:42.000 Like, we don't lie at turning point.
00:52:44.000 Yep.
00:52:45.000 And I said this earlier.
00:52:47.000 If we're going to have the truth on our side and we're going to be representatives of the truth, then we're not going to lie.
00:52:54.000 Because if we're going out in public and giving people the truth, and oftentimes that's the gospel, why would the people receiving that message want to receive it from us if in the background we're lying all the time?
00:53:06.000 We have no right to do so.
00:53:08.000 Yeah, I mean, if you guys want to take a stab at the first question, my point, what do you think Charlie would want young Christians to remember most about living in their faith?
00:53:18.000 Is that to have courage.
00:53:20.000 Courage is the least common of the virtues.
00:53:24.000 It's the rarest of the virtues.
00:53:26.000 And so to have courage in your faith means that you can be used by God.
00:53:30.000 And what does courage require?
00:53:31.000 I think it requires repentance and it requires honesty.
00:53:35.000 And to be used by God means you have to have faith, right?
00:53:38.000 So you just got to have that.
00:53:39.000 You've got to know that God's going to meet you in that moment and he's going to give you the words.
00:53:42.000 He's going to give you the strength.
00:53:43.000 He's going to give you the ability to do what God asks you to do.
00:53:47.000 So have courage.
00:53:48.000 Courage, courage, courage, courage, courage.
00:53:50.000 Speak truth into the darkness.
00:53:52.000 Speak truth into the culture.
00:53:54.000 And don't be afraid.
00:53:55.000 Don't cower.
00:53:55.000 Don't parse your words.
00:53:57.000 Don't give an inch.
00:53:59.000 And that will make you a man.
00:54:00.000 That will put spine down your back and steel in your spine.
00:54:04.000 And it will make you immovable.
00:54:07.000 And when you're immovable, that was what Charlie was.
00:54:10.000 You could not move him off that mark.
00:54:13.000 He's the cornerstone of everything.
