Transcript

00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord Museman.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here, we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 So we've got Mikey McCoy, Charlie's chief of staff, absolute roundabout, good man, and apparently a rising star, Mikey McCoy.
00:01:19.000 People love your infectious laugh.
00:01:21.000 Yeah, I'll take it.
00:01:22.000 The ladies love it.
00:01:23.000 The real McCoy was the title I think we settled on.
00:01:26.000 I think I'm Admiral Andrew.
00:01:27.000 Admiral Andrew, Real McCoy, Blake GPT.
00:01:30.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:01:31.000 Andrew's a spock or whatever.
00:01:33.000 Just like spots.
00:01:34.000 I know it's a spot.
00:01:35.000 You know, Captain Kirk would get all worked up, and then I'd be like, that's most illogical, Jeez.
00:01:39.000 Literally do one of these things.
00:01:41.000 It's most illogical.
00:01:42.000 Yeah.
00:01:43.000 I see Alexis says, I'm seeing Muslims all over Michigan.
00:01:46.000 They are now allowing prayer in the middle of the street midday.
00:01:49.000 Are they here legally?
00:01:51.000 I have no idea.
00:01:52.000 Some of them probably are.
00:01:53.000 A lot of them are these refugee status.
00:01:55.000 Savannah Hernandez with Turning Point Frontlines did a amazing piece on the Somalis in Minnesota.
00:02:02.000 And most of them get government benefits because they're here on some sort of temporary protected status.
00:02:08.000 But they just keep getting extended, extended.
00:02:10.000 A lot of these will be chain migration.
00:02:12.000 Alexis, you said, hey, can I get a response on my email?
00:02:15.000 And so the answer is yes.
00:02:16.000 I see you.
00:02:17.000 And yeah, it's a huge problem.
00:02:21.000 I mean, I don't know.
00:02:23.000 We currently apparently do not have the political will or desire to deal with it.
00:02:28.000 And on some level, I understand the administration is trying to tackle a huge illegal immigrant problem.
00:02:34.000 But the chain migration, legal immigration needs to be reformed just as urgently, in my opinion.
00:02:41.000 So, yeah.
00:02:43.000 We do have, so if you want to be a part of our members, ask me anything hour, ask we anything hour, just join members.charliekirk.com.
00:02:51.000 We can put that URL on the lower if we can.
00:02:54.000 Members.charlikirk.com.
00:02:56.000 Please join our members program.
00:02:59.000 It's still going, still active.
00:03:01.000 And you guys are really the bedrock and the backbone of this show.
00:03:04.000 So first question.
00:03:07.000 Anthony is first.
00:03:08.000 Anthony, can you hear me?
00:03:10.000 Yeah, can you hear me, Andrew?
00:03:11.000 Yes, absolutely.
00:03:12.000 Hey, Anthony.
00:03:12.000 Welcome to the show.
00:03:13.000 How you do?
00:03:14.000 Thanks, guys.
00:03:15.000 All right.
00:03:15.000 So got to ask this.
00:03:16.000 Andrew, I know you're a Dodger fan, so it's okay.
00:03:19.000 But where does the office stand with polling for the Cubs?
00:03:24.000 Where's Danny?
00:03:26.000 I know Danny stands with Daniel.
00:03:27.000 I'm going to talk to my mic.
00:03:28.000 Get him in.
00:03:28.000 Get him on.
00:03:29.000 Hey, listen.
00:03:30.000 For Charlie, I will be ecstatic because the Cubs win.
00:03:36.000 While we wait for Danny, I'm a Twins fan.
00:03:38.000 For those who don't follow baseball, the Twins are a smoldering creator of a franchise.
00:03:42.000 They're doomed forever.
00:03:43.000 They will never be good again.
00:03:44.000 You've been on air?
00:03:45.000 What?
00:03:46.000 That you're a Twins?
00:03:46.000 Yeah, what?
00:03:47.000 It's not even your state.
00:03:48.000 You're a Twin Times.
00:03:49.000 You're next door.
00:03:51.000 Someone find it.
00:03:52.000 Anyway, they're going to be terrible forever.
00:03:54.000 They'll never ever be good again.
00:03:56.000 So I'm kind of just going into this like curvy hypernation last time.
00:04:00.000 Come on.
00:04:00.000 Get in here, Danny.
00:04:01.000 Get over here.
00:04:02.000 Get over here.
00:04:02.000 Danny talking to my mic.
00:04:03.000 Get him talking to my mic.
00:04:04.000 Right here.
00:04:05.000 Just right here.
00:04:05.000 Just talking to my mother.
00:04:06.000 Just talking to Mike.
00:04:07.000 You can lean in.
00:04:07.000 Whatever, wherever you want to go.
00:04:08.000 So Danny is from the same part of the world, roughly, as Charlie, but Charlie and Danny would talk sports a lot.
00:04:16.000 Oh, yeah, big time.
00:04:17.000 Danny is an Ohio State fan, which is the number one team in the country, national champs.
00:04:22.000 going to run it back this year except for the ducks are going to win because now i'm a ducks fan which is saying something because i'm actually a u-dub husky which those are we had an expression that rhymes with ducks that involved the the name of that school And I'm putting all this aside to root for Charlie.
00:04:40.000 Last night we were watching the Rams at the 39ers game, and Elizabeth goes, since when are you like a sports fan?
00:04:45.000 It's like, you can blame Danny and Charlie.
00:04:48.000 I didn't care about sports.
00:04:49.000 Now I'm a Ducks fan and a Cubs fan because of this guy.
00:04:52.000 So tell the audience how many games were visible inside the Charlie Kirk show office.
00:05:01.000 Almost every day game.
00:05:03.000 Yeah.
00:05:03.000 We were in the office and the Cubs were playing.
00:05:05.000 The game was on.
00:05:06.000 Yeah, and there's a time difference, too.
00:05:08.000 So if they were playing East Coast or Central Time.
00:05:10.000 Central time, two-hour difference.
00:05:12.000 You would catch it.
00:05:12.000 It'd work out.
00:05:13.000 I mean, one of my last memories of Charlie in the office, actually, was just watching the Cubs play.
00:05:18.000 Oh, really?
00:05:19.000 Yeah, because we went to the Wrigley.
00:05:21.000 We went to Wrigley Field together just a few weeks before Charlie passed.
00:05:26.000 And I mean, it was a really special moment.
00:05:28.000 We walked the field, hung out with the players.
00:05:30.000 Like a couple of those images went viral.
00:05:33.000 Yep.
00:05:33.000 Because I guess it was controversial that they took a picture with Charlie.
00:05:37.000 But one of the players, Michael Bush, who took a picture with Charlie, hit home run last night.
00:05:44.000 And by the way, I'm not even a Cubs fan, Anthony, but I am this year.
00:05:48.000 OK, and if they won, it's OK.
00:05:51.000 I know you're a Dodger fan.
00:05:53.000 I am.
00:05:54.000 Listen, I want them to get to the NLCS together, and I want to go seven.
00:05:57.000 And I want Matt Shaw to get the game winning home run.
00:06:01.000 Will he hit it off Otani, though?
00:06:02.000 What if that happens?
00:06:03.000 I'm so okay with that.
00:06:05.000 Otani's had enough.
00:06:06.000 It'll be Cubs in Phillies in the NLCS.
00:06:09.000 Phillies taking it, and there's a reason.
00:06:12.000 The Phillies taking it?
00:06:13.000 Yes.
00:06:14.000 Here's my reason.
00:06:14.000 Hold on.
00:06:15.000 I know the shortstop on the Cubs and the Phillies and the DH on the Phillies personally.
00:06:23.000 So if, Danny, you should know who the Cubs shortstop is.
00:06:27.000 Dansby Swanson.
00:06:29.000 He knows that.
00:06:30.000 So then the Phillies shortstop is Trey Turner, and then the DH is Kyle Schwarber.
00:06:35.000 I know all three of them.
00:06:37.000 Are you a sports guy?
00:06:38.000 Like, are you, is this your personal?
00:06:41.000 I worked in the NHL and the NBA, and I currently work in college athletics as consultants, handling marketing and communications.
00:06:47.000 But I traveled to three college World Series, and I had all those athletes in Omaha.
00:06:52.000 So that's how I know them personally.
00:06:54.000 And then I had Trey Turner's best friend growing up on one of my college summer baseball teams.
00:06:59.000 Well, listen, Trey Turner used to be a Dodger, but then I think he got recruited by Bryce Harper to the Phillies.
00:07:06.000 So anyways, Phillies have a great team.
00:07:08.000 I'm just glad Jack Pesovic's not here because he would be like all hooping and hollering about the Phillies and no thank you.
00:07:14.000 Anyways, God bless you, Anthony.
00:07:16.000 I think it's safe to say the office is pulling for the Cubbies, even me.
00:07:20.000 Okay.
00:07:20.000 So all for Charlie.
00:07:21.000 This year it's all about Charlie.
00:07:22.000 Yeah, throw cut 367 up there.
00:07:26.000 This was cool.
00:07:27.000 The Cubs actually did this for, maybe we don't have it.
00:07:31.000 Here, I'm going to send it to you.
00:07:32.000 Yeah, there you go.
00:07:33.000 367.
00:07:34.000 This is a picture, and it's 1776.
00:07:37.000 Kirk Kirk.
00:07:38.000 They made Jersey size, Charlie and Erica.
00:07:41.000 And together, it was 1776.
00:07:44.000 There's one more photo that's online.
00:07:46.000 Didn't he run the scoreboard or something?
00:07:48.000 Yes, he did.
00:07:49.000 Yeah, that's right.
00:07:50.000 That's interesting.
00:07:51.000 I haven't seen that picture, but I remember when they were like, hey, do you want to go up with him?
00:07:54.000 And Charlie was like, no, I'm taking Erica.
00:07:55.000 And I was like, totally cool.
00:07:57.000 So yeah, that was great.
00:07:58.000 Thanks, Anthony.
00:07:59.000 Next question.
00:08:00.000 Elizabeth.
00:08:01.000 Elizabeth, next.
00:08:02.000 Can you hear us, Elizabeth?
00:08:05.000 Hi, I can hear you.
00:08:06.000 How are you today?
00:08:07.000 I'm well.
00:08:08.000 Thank you.
00:08:08.000 We've been praying for all of you guys.
00:08:10.000 You've been doing such a great job.
00:08:11.000 Thank you.
00:08:12.000 Thank you.
00:08:12.000 I was a full-time listener.
00:08:14.000 And before what happened to Charlie happened to Charlie, except for Mikey, I knew who all of you were, and I knew how much Charlie loved and respected all of you.
00:08:23.000 And you were going to do such an amazing job continuing his legacy.
00:08:27.000 I had confidence to that.
00:08:29.000 Thank you.
00:08:29.000 Thank you so much.
00:08:31.000 Which led me to the Charlie problem, which is we're all trying to get back to Christ in Bible study.
00:08:38.000 And I went on to ChristianBook.com to get a Bible with a larger font size because I'm a little bit older.
00:08:44.000 And it led me down a rabbit hole.
00:08:46.000 And so there were all these sections for like apologetics, Calvinist.
00:08:50.000 There was like all this, what's between apologetics and Calvinist?
00:08:55.000 And how do you decide which way to go?
00:08:57.000 And don't worry, I found an actual Bible study I'm going to be going to with a great church who, by the way, he did a Charlie Kirk Memorial.
00:09:05.000 He had a bunch of threats.
00:09:06.000 We had so many police there and he stood his ground.
00:09:10.000 You guys would love him.
00:09:11.000 Amazing.
00:09:13.000 I really do love that.
00:09:14.000 Love that story.
00:09:16.000 I will say, so you're comparing apologetics, which is the defense of the Christian faith, and Calvinism, which is a particular stream of Protestantism, which is sort of known by the tulip, if you will, the five points of Calvinism, which is total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, perseverance of the saints.
00:09:38.000 Those are the five points of Calvinists.
00:09:40.000 Even a lot of Calvinists are not five-point Calvinists.
00:09:43.000 They're like three-point Calvinists, or they'll say four-point Calvinists.
00:09:46.000 Elizabeth, you'll hear people use this expression reformed theology, and usually it's a reference to Calvinism on some level.
00:09:56.000 Again, you got to be more specific with your questions when people are saying, oh, I'm sort of reformed or I'm Calvinist, because there's five points and then there's three points and there's four.
00:10:04.000 So I know that's all very complicated, but a lot of young people, it's worth saying, are going back to either Catholic church or they're going back to Reformed churches.
00:10:17.000 And so those are probably the two biggest rising groups of the faith right now, especially with kids.
00:10:23.000 So don't get bogged down on which particular stream of Christianity.
00:10:28.000 I would say if they read the Bible, they believe the Bible, if they love Jesus, if they follow Jesus, that's a pretty good starting point.
00:10:36.000 Now, we've got open hand or closed hand and open hand of faith.
00:10:40.000 All right.
00:10:40.000 What do we have in the closed hand?
00:10:42.000 That is that Jesus is God.
00:10:44.000 He died on the cross for your sins, and you need to repent and ask him to save you.
00:10:48.000 That's pretty much the closed hand.
00:10:49.000 And if you want to go Calvinist or Armenianist, if you want to go Catholic or Christian, if you want to go pre-millennial, post-trib, pre-trib, if you want to go any of those infant baptism, adult baptism, I get less worried about that.
00:11:03.000 The thing is, follow Jesus, give your life to him, repent and be saved, and let him, his perfect death on the cross, his perfect life, and his death on the cross for your sins will cover you.
00:11:17.000 And yeah, it sounds like you found a great Bible study.
00:11:20.000 If they're defending Charlie vocally and vociferously, despite the wokies, it sounds like you found a good one.
00:11:27.000 You want to add anything to that, Pastor Stone?
00:11:30.000 Yeah, I just, the other thing, too, that's really big is Calvinism and Arminianism.
00:11:36.000 So I don't know if maybe that's also what you're referring to there, but that's often kind of the debate between the two.
00:11:44.000 Yeah, yeah, well, predestination versus self-determination or whatever.
00:11:48.000 Humans having their ability to reject God.
00:11:50.000 Bottom line is.
00:11:51.000 I'm going to get your salvation already being predestined.
00:11:53.000 Well, I believe that people can reject him.
00:11:53.000 Yeah, that's right.
00:11:55.000 They shouldn't, but they have the ability to reject him.
00:11:57.000 Well, were they predestined to reject him?
00:11:58.000 That's the question.
00:11:59.000 Anyways, it's a never-ending cycle if you want to get ready.
00:12:02.000 We could be here all day.
00:12:02.000 Yeah.
00:12:03.000 But the point is, if your heart is leading you to a very close relationship with Jesus Christ and you're trying to get to church, you want to learn more about him and read your scripture.
00:12:13.000 I would tell you this.
00:12:15.000 The mark of a new Christian, in my experience, is that they just can't get enough of the scripture.
00:12:20.000 They just want to devour it.
00:12:21.000 And it's different for everybody, I will say, but I've just seen that.
00:12:24.000 That has been one repeat theme.
00:12:26.000 They just can't get their head out of the scriptures.
00:12:28.000 And so read the Bible, let it fill you, let it fill your heart.
00:12:31.000 And again, revival comes through repentance.
00:12:35.000 When the mass of people in a country or in a community just feel called to repent and give their lives to the Lord, what is repentance?
00:12:43.000 Metanoia, right, is the Greek, and that means turning around, means saying sorry and turning in the other direction.
00:12:49.000 So I always think of it as you're marching straight to hell.
00:12:52.000 Jesus stops you on the way.
00:12:54.000 Metanoia, you turn around, you say sorry, and you march the other direction.
00:12:57.000 You go towards heaven.
00:12:59.000 And God wants what's best for you.
00:13:00.000 God bless you, by the way.
00:13:01.000 And I just love that.
00:13:03.000 You know, have you already noticed just God speaking to you and is your life changing?
00:13:11.000 I actually kind of felt, and I don't want to be like supernatural, but I tell you, I felt like Charlie sent me there because it was a memorial for Charlie.
00:13:20.000 And he was always talking to me.
00:13:22.000 I used to love your faith and freedom nights.
00:13:24.000 They were my favorite, my favorite thing that he would do.
00:13:26.000 And the pastor summits were so great.
00:13:28.000 And find a brave pastor.
00:13:30.000 I used to have a brave pastor and my old church, I don't want to go into it, but they went into allowing gay marriage.
00:13:37.000 And then they fired my pastor because she wouldn't do gay marriage.
00:13:40.000 So I wasn't at a church for 10 years.
00:13:43.000 And that was a church that I was baptized.
00:13:45.000 There were so many stories like that.
00:13:46.000 It's so bad.
00:13:48.000 I was baptized by my grandfather in my old church.
00:13:51.000 Wow.
00:13:51.000 So I've been meandering around trying to find a good church.
00:13:55.000 And also, I wasn't the best of Bible study.
00:13:57.000 It was always kind of, you need somebody who knows it, right?
00:14:00.000 It's a lot.
00:14:01.000 It's a lot.
00:14:02.000 Yeah.
00:14:04.000 This church is, it was founded in 1750.
00:14:07.000 He's a very brave pastor.
00:14:09.000 He spoke about the trans insanity.
00:14:11.000 He got death threats when he went through the memorial for Charlie.
00:14:14.000 He stood firm on that.
00:14:15.000 There were a lot of police there.
00:14:16.000 He's a brave man.
00:14:18.000 He's a great pastor.
00:14:19.000 And I just sort of felt like Pastor Hasselbach.
00:14:23.000 Great.
00:14:24.000 Thank you.
00:14:24.000 What part of the country?
00:14:25.000 He's in Rockland County, New York.
00:14:29.000 God bless him.
00:14:30.000 He passed the test.
00:14:31.000 All right.
00:14:32.000 Yes, so I feel like I could go there and I'm not going to be horrified what happens 10 years later.
00:14:32.000 Go ahead, Blake.
00:14:38.000 You know what I'm saying?
00:14:39.000 Like, it was very hard to lose my first church.
00:14:42.000 Very hard.
00:14:43.000 I was thinking how tough that is.
00:14:44.000 Like my grandparents who've passed since, you know, they were ELCA Lutherans.
00:14:49.000 That church embraced gay marriage, everything else.
00:14:52.000 So they had to leave, but they were leaving a church they had personally helped build the building it is.
00:14:56.000 And there's so many little tragedies like that that have happened across American Christianity.
00:15:03.000 Look, I know there are a lot of choices when it comes to who you choose for your cell phone service.
00:15:07.000 There are new ones popping up all the time.
00:15:09.000 But the truth is there's only one that boldly stands in the gap for every American that believes that freedom is worth fighting for.
00:15:16.000 And that is Patriot Mobile.
00:15:18.000 For more than 12 years, Patriot Mobile has been on the front lines fighting for our God-given rights of freedom while also providing exceptional nationwide cell phone service with access to all three of the main networks.
00:15:28.000 Don't just take my word for it.
00:15:30.000 Ask the hundreds of thousands of Americans who've made the switch and are now supporting causes they believe in simply by switching to Patriot Mobile.
00:15:37.000 It's easier than it's ever been.
00:15:38.000 Activate in minutes from the comfort of your own home.
00:15:41.000 Keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade.
00:15:43.000 Patriot Mobile's all-U.S.
00:15:44.000 based support team is standing by to take care of you.
00:15:47.000 Charlie and Glenn over at Patriot Mobile.
00:15:50.000 Dear, dear friends.
00:15:51.000 So I'll give the last word to Charlie.
00:15:52.000 Call 972Patriot today or go to patriotmobile.com slash Charlie.
00:15:56.000 Use promo code Charlie for a free month of service.
00:15:59.000 That's patriotmobile.com slash Charlie or call 972 Patriot and make the switch today.
00:16:06.000 Andrew Colvett here, executive producer of this fine show where we remember Charlie and we heap contempt and shame on those who choose to lie about him.
00:16:16.000 Can I get that shame?
00:16:18.000 I think we got a little sound effect for this.
00:16:22.000 Shame.
00:16:26.000 Shame.
00:16:27.000 Yeah, no.
00:16:28.000 So, yeah, so this is, we'll see.
00:16:30.000 We'll probably be doing this on other things.
00:16:31.000 And not necessarily always Charlie stuff, but we had to lead off with this.
00:16:34.000 We were debating who we would hit this week.
00:16:36.000 And then I saw this in my email this morning and I was like, we're going to hit it.
00:16:40.000 This is the target.
00:16:41.000 So Thomas Chatterton Williams is this very aggravatingly centrist writer.
00:16:49.000 He likes, I think he lives in a castle in Europe or something.
00:16:53.000 Seriously?
00:16:54.000 And memorably, literally just last week, he wrote in response to the Charlie Memorial this tweet that was essentially, I, you know, I've lived in multiple different countries, but I've never felt as alienated as I did by this because I had no understanding of this.
00:16:54.000 Yeah.
00:17:08.000 Oh, is this the same?
00:17:09.000 Same guy.
00:17:10.000 Oh, yeah.
00:17:10.000 Same guy.
00:17:11.000 Now this week in The Atlantic, yesterday, he has this article titled, The Other Martyr.
00:17:16.000 MAGA has found it's George Floyd.
00:17:19.000 And so he's tweeting about this and quoting all of this.
00:17:23.000 And yeah, so that's the article.
00:17:25.000 I think we have a photo of him too, if you want to show it.
00:17:27.000 Yeah, we've got a bunch of images of this guy.
00:17:29.000 He's like, for many, so I'll just read a quote from this.
00:17:32.000 For many on the left, Floyd's asphyxiation turned a flawed and desperate man into a Christ figure, someone who bore the weight of the world's failings, and in so doing, cleared a path to fix them.
00:17:41.000 In the feverish weeks since Charlie Kirk's assassination, the MAGARET is undergoing its own religious ferment, animated by a new martyr.
00:17:49.000 Just as the left used Floyd's death to justify and hasten all manner of political ends, the right is invoking Kirk's name to advance illiberal aims and silence opponents.
00:17:59.000 All right, I've got, let's see, four minutes here.
00:18:01.000 I'm just going to blow this guy up.
00:18:02.000 Shame him.
00:18:03.000 Yeah, shame.
00:18:04.000 First of all, let's shame.
00:18:07.000 Shame.
00:18:11.000 So, but let's just be real here.
00:18:12.000 So, first of all, if we're just going to compare these two, I think you can judge, I think you can, to some extent, judge factions by who they decide to make into heroes.
00:18:20.000 So, let's compare the life stories here between Charlie Kirk and George Charlie.
00:18:25.000 Did you see that?
00:18:26.000 So, did his coffee house him?
00:18:29.000 George Floyd was essentially a career criminal.
00:18:32.000 He participated in a robbery where he held a gun to a woman's stomach.
00:18:35.000 He was having an encounter.
00:18:37.000 He was repeatedly involved in drugs.
00:18:39.000 He has an encounter with a police officer that ends his life because he's trying to pass a fake $20 bill at a gas station.
00:18:47.000 Can I just pause right there?
00:18:48.000 Two of the people that George Floyd was with that day did not freak out, and they are alive today.
00:18:53.000 Just for the record.
00:18:56.000 He is attempting to commit counterfeiting.
00:18:59.000 A police officer comes in.
00:19:01.000 It's unclear, but it seems very likely he basically swallowed a large amount of drugs he was afraid he would be caught with.
00:19:08.000 He freaks out in the back of a car, which causes him to be restrained.
00:19:12.000 He dies of this, basically from a drug overdose.
00:19:16.000 And that is the sum of George Floyd's life, essentially.
00:19:20.000 Well, also, that follows it.
00:19:22.000 Yeah, so I guess if you want to find similarities between them, you could say, you know, George Floyd, like, you know, committed armed robbery against an innocent person, and Charlie never committed armed robbery against an innocent person.
00:19:32.000 So they're kind of, they're unified by this theme of robbery that one committed it and the other did not.
00:19:39.000 And, you know, he, I think he had a, You know, I don't believe he was married to the mother.
00:19:45.000 He had a child, I believe.
00:19:47.000 Yes.
00:19:48.000 Yeah, Charlie.
00:19:48.000 That's what I'm doing.
00:19:49.000 Charlie did marry a woman and then had children with her who and he remained loyal to her and was a loving husband and was a frankly lived a model life for others to imitate.
00:20:01.000 If you were to imitate Charlie's life, you will be happy and successful and have a great family.
00:20:06.000 If you were to imitate George Floyd's life, you will probably die at a young age.
00:20:12.000 Just so you're aware, he was 46 and a father of five children.
00:20:17.000 So.
00:20:18.000 Alrighty.
00:20:19.000 But let's go beyond that.
00:20:20.000 Okay, let's also compare it.
00:20:22.000 The Floyd and the Charlie Kirk moments.
00:20:24.000 After Charlie, we had zero riots.
00:20:27.000 We had zero giant mobs trying to torch big cities.
00:20:31.000 We had zero people trying to do a revelation.
00:20:35.000 We had zero statues toppled.
00:20:37.000 Never mind.
00:20:37.000 With zero statues toppled.
00:20:39.000 Whereas with Floyd, we have riots in D.C. We have riots in Minneapolis.
00:20:42.000 We have riots.
00:20:43.000 We have follow-on riots in Kenosha and everywhere else that are basically inspired by this with some new case to justify it.
00:20:50.000 We have an entire summer of Floyd with one riot after another.
00:20:54.000 We have literally thousands of businesses burned, looted.
00:20:58.000 We have them trying to put up this, you know, we support BLM.
00:21:00.000 Please don't burn us burned down anyway.
00:21:02.000 We had a police station broken into by Antifa in Minneapolis and burned to the ground while the authorities of Minneapolis ran and hid.
00:21:10.000 We didn't have any of that for Charlie.
00:21:12.000 We had a big rally in a stadium to memorialize him.
00:21:15.000 I don't know what rallies don't go.
00:21:16.000 We had a big memorial in a stadium that was like a revival in which all the people who were there as security said, wow, nothing bad happened.
00:21:24.000 Nobody was arrested.
00:21:25.000 No problems.
00:21:26.000 It was the cleanest event they'd ever run.
00:21:28.000 Totally.
00:21:28.000 In which Erica, his widow, forgave the murderer.
00:21:32.000 The most incredible act of Christian charity and forgiveness you will ever see in a public setting.
00:21:38.000 So, yeah, actually, I'll give you this.
00:21:40.000 Wait, we are.
00:21:42.000 If you want to call this our George Floyd, I'll take that because I'll take that comparison every day.
00:21:46.000 Let's make that comparison.
00:21:47.000 Let's go.
00:21:50.000 Go off, Blake.
00:21:52.000 Go off, Blake.
00:21:54.000 And to this, to this writer, what's his name again?
00:21:56.000 What's his name again?
00:21:58.000 Thomas Chatterton Williams.
00:22:00.000 What a really massively annoying person.
00:22:02.000 Thomas Chatterton Williams.
00:22:05.000 I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
00:22:08.000 That's how I feel.
00:22:09.000 All right.
00:22:10.000 Shame.
00:22:14.000 All right.
00:22:14.000 All right.
00:22:15.000 Let's, yeah, let's take another caller.
00:22:16.000 Let's take Greg.
00:22:17.000 Greg, can you hear us?
00:22:19.000 Guys, what's going on?
00:22:22.000 We're letting Blake, you know, we all grieve in our own ways.
00:22:26.000 I think, you know, Blake go off.
00:22:29.000 So that's how we're doing.
00:22:30.000 We're all in that mode right now.
00:22:32.000 Greg, what's your question?
00:22:34.000 Just real quick, just wanted to thank you guys for everything you guys do.
00:22:39.000 I mean, Charlie was one of one and, you know, Grand Canyon void to fill, but you guys are doing an incredible job.
00:22:47.000 I just want to say that.
00:22:48.000 But real quick on immigration.
00:22:50.000 So just wanted to get your take on it.
00:22:53.000 I'm Polish.
00:22:54.000 I'm from Poland originally, came here in 95.
00:22:58.000 You know, got my green card, went through the whole ordeal process.
00:23:03.000 Now I'm a U.S. citizen.
00:23:06.000 So it's, you know, it's really infuriating what's going on with this whole immigration.
00:23:10.000 And I don't know.
00:23:12.000 Like, what is the percentage of people like myself?
00:23:16.000 I'm hoping it's bigger than just very small, but that are infuriated by all this illegal stuff and, you know, just the Democrats just being, you know, throwing all these privileges and rights at them.
00:23:30.000 And here I am, like, just go through the process.
00:23:33.000 Like, and it's kind of infuriating to see all that happen.
00:23:37.000 No, it's, it's profoundly insulting is what it is, Greg, because it's worse than just that you went through the process and other people are getting in without doing the process.
00:23:47.000 We make it easier and better for the individuals who are violating the process, where if you just show up at our border illegally, you can do some cheat code to get temporary protected status or you're an asylum seeker, and then you're eligible for way more stuff often than a person who actually comes here legally is in terms of programs.
00:24:08.000 You get a fast track to all sorts of stuff.
00:24:10.000 Whereas if you're trying to come here legally as like a high-skilled person, there's so many hoops you have to jump through.
00:24:16.000 It's so difficult for everyone to hire you or do all of this.
00:24:20.000 And it is profoundly insulting.
00:24:22.000 And I think it's something that is really underrated because the claim is always that anyone who came here as an immigrant is going to be angry if we restrict immigration in any way.
00:24:31.000 But I think you're a testament to the fact that, no, a person who follows the law, a person who actually admires what made America great and came here for that is going to be very angry at, you know, a faction that just treats America as a giant pile of like money to be looted by the rest of the world.
00:24:49.000 So I just want to say that I completely agree with you.
00:24:53.000 And I would also like to say as well that for young people, immigration is a total like they're they are the ones getting screwed over the most.
00:25:02.000 Because what happens is we bring in all these H1Bs, which are technically legal, but it's a scam system.
00:25:08.000 But we also bring in all these illegals that will work the hotel jobs and the restaurant jobs and the cooks and all this stuff.
00:25:13.000 And those were the jobs generations prior that were largely taken by high school kids.
00:25:18.000 That would be the entryway into a career.
00:25:20.000 Maybe they would start their own restaurant someday.
00:25:22.000 Maybe they would start their own hotel someday.
00:25:25.000 But they never got started.
00:25:26.000 They get they end up getting sucked down some pathway on the Internet or some discord channel or some Reddit thread.
00:25:32.000 And this is you know, this this is what's happening to a whole generation.
00:25:35.000 So we believe that you need to stop this.
00:25:39.000 Americans need to get the jobs.
00:25:40.000 Immigrants need to go home and we need to dramatically reform and curtail our legal immigration system so that only people like you are getting through.
00:25:50.000 I saw this meme, by the way, because Raheem Kassam is a friend of the show, the National Pulse as well.
00:25:56.000 Great, great website.
00:25:56.000 You need to check it out.
00:25:58.000 The National Pulse dot com.
00:26:01.000 And the meme was like, can can Raheem Kassam just be the final arbiter on who gets in and who doesn't?
00:26:07.000 I was like, that would be great, because Raheem is a is a good quality addition to the United States of America.
00:26:13.000 He's a patriot.
00:26:14.000 He came to the memorial, did a whole video about it.
00:26:16.000 It was beautiful.
00:26:16.000 But the point is, there are good immigrants, but we are so fed up in this country with getting the system gamed and having our people screwed over in the process.
00:26:27.000 It's a breakdown of the social compact, because as a nation, we owe it to our own people to make sure they're taken taken care of first.
00:26:34.000 And until somebody in Washington or some think tank can prove to me that our people are taken care of, then I'm with Charlie Kirk on this.
00:26:42.000 I'll take an immigration moratorium as far as I'm concerned.
00:26:45.000 But I still like that people like you got in.
00:26:49.000 This is Lane Schoenberger, chief investment officer and founding partner of Why Refi.
00:26:54.000 It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us.
00:26:59.000 His endorsement means the world to us.
00:27:01.000 And we'll be right back.
00:27:01.000 we look forward to continuing our partnership with turning point for years to come now here charlie in his own words tell you about why refi i'm going to tell you guys about whyrefi.com that is yrefy.com why refi is incredible private student loan debt in america totals about 300 billion dollars why refi is refinancing distress or defaulted private student loans you can finally take control of your student loan situation with a plan that works for your monthly budget go to yrefi.com that is whyrefi.com do you have a co-borrower why refi can get them

00:28:32.000 this?
00:28:32.000 I'm pretty sure the lead singer would be.
00:28:33.000 I don't know.
00:28:34.000 I'm hearing that the band might not be available, but the lead singer might be somehow there's like a, I'm not exactly sure.
00:28:41.000 Or we could do Taylor Swift.
00:28:42.000 Michael Caboose.
00:28:43.000 Only if Nickelback can be there too.
00:28:45.000 Sorry, Michael Caboose.
00:28:48.000 Anyways.
00:28:50.000 Next question here, we have Jill.
00:28:53.000 Jill, are you there?
00:28:54.000 Hey, great.
00:28:56.000 Hey, we are in Missouri and we have a bunch of adults that want to get involved like the kids.
00:29:03.000 Is there anything you can do to help us get started?
00:29:06.000 So I thought about this.
00:29:08.000 I've been thinking about this a lot, and I actually think that we probably need to do something on the action side.
00:29:14.000 So we already have an adult group, and it's called Turning Point Action.
00:29:17.000 And that is, you're talking about, you know, you're upset.
00:29:21.000 Daisy gives me a little like preview, by the way.
00:29:23.000 So here.
00:29:25.000 So something they're passing, you know, you have politicians that are passing liberal laws, liberal agenda items.
00:29:31.000 And that would be a very political thing.
00:29:34.000 And so we already have an adult, or at least something that adults can get involved in.
00:29:38.000 We have a lot of young people also involved in that.
00:29:41.000 But Turning Point Action is the 501c4.
00:29:44.000 So whereas Turning Point USA is the C3, we don't do RNC stuff.
00:29:48.000 We don't do candidate stuff.
00:29:49.000 It's just conservative ideas, American, pro-American ideas on college campuses, high school campuses.
00:29:55.000 The C4 endorses candidates.
00:29:57.000 The C4 goes and knocks doors.
00:29:59.000 The C4 has an app, and you can get out there and send letters.
00:30:03.000 You can send postcards.
00:30:05.000 You can do all those types of things through the app.
00:30:08.000 So what we probably need to do is we just need to have like state chapters or something or like chapters for turning point action where people can get involved in the grassroots.
00:30:18.000 Because right now, you know, we launched it in earnest ahead of the 2024 election, and that was a get out the vote campaign, really.
00:30:25.000 That was the, there was, it does more.
00:30:27.000 There's like, again, we have a scorecard.
00:30:29.000 We rate candidates.
00:30:30.000 We rate elected members of Congress and the Senate, things like that.
00:30:34.000 But it sounds like we need to maybe ramp that up a little bit because we could create a standing army with chapters in these different states.
00:30:41.000 And maybe there's local chapters.
00:30:42.000 I don't know where in Missouri you are, but we could do something like that.
00:30:46.000 But kind of, we already have what you're talking about.
00:30:49.000 And, you know, obviously we have our national events.
00:30:52.000 AmFest is an all-ages event.
00:30:54.000 So we'll have, let's say, five, six, seven, eight, thousand students.
00:30:58.000 I have no idea what it's going to be this year.
00:30:59.000 I think we had like 7,000 last year.
00:31:01.000 But beyond the 7,000 young people, we had 21,000 people in Phoenix.
00:31:07.000 This year is going to be much bigger just simply because there's just so much more attention.
00:31:12.000 But you can go to those too.
00:31:16.000 And there's a whole bunch of TP action programming that's also a part of Amfest.
00:31:20.000 We do breakout sessions.
00:31:21.000 Tyler does a great job.
00:31:22.000 The whole action team does a great job there.
00:31:24.000 So that would be my answer.
00:31:25.000 Is that satisfactory to you, Jill, or are you?
00:31:28.000 That's very helpful.
00:31:29.000 What we're looking for really is the structure to build a club underneath at the state level.
00:31:34.000 We were part of a Republican club called the Papadrum Club.
00:31:37.000 It was not very satisfactory.
00:31:40.000 Last year, our club raised $25,000.
00:31:44.000 All of that's going to sponsor kids to Amfest and to other TPUSA events.
00:31:49.000 We have so far 12 people coming this year.
00:31:52.000 Great.
00:31:53.000 And we sent seven girls to Dallas and one kid to Tampa.
00:31:57.000 Fantastic.
00:31:58.000 Fantastic.
00:31:59.000 So we are.
00:31:59.000 Yeah, and actually, Riley Gaines was our speaker at our event.
00:32:02.000 So we are totally all in.
00:32:06.000 We just need some structure to help us.
00:32:08.000 I was going to say, so I'm going to pitch this idea to Tyler.
00:32:10.000 Obviously, we're all drinking through a fire hose right now.
00:32:13.000 You can't imagine.
00:32:14.000 Every day people are contacting us about something else.
00:32:17.000 But this is actually something at a grassroots level that feels core to the mission and something we could say yes to.
00:32:23.000 So we have coalition teams and maybe that's the way to do this.
00:32:26.000 But yeah, I think there's just so much need and desire out there.
00:32:30.000 Thank you, Jill, for the idea.
00:32:31.000 I will give an update if there's an update to be had because I agree with you.
00:32:36.000 So thank you for your call.
00:32:37.000 And thank you for being a member.
00:32:38.000 Members.charliekirk.com, members.charliekirk.com.
00:32:42.000 You can join, help keep the lights on.
00:32:45.000 You know, the future is less certain, but we are going to keep going.
00:32:49.000 And you guys at members.charliekirk.com help us move into the future with confidence.
00:32:56.000 We just love you guys and thank you so much.
00:32:58.000 So next caller is Kelsey.
00:33:00.000 Kelsey, it sounds like you have a T. Swift question.
00:33:03.000 Yes, I do have a Taylor Swift question, but I'm not a Swifty.
00:33:07.000 I'm just going to say that.
00:33:08.000 Okay.
00:33:10.000 So her new album just dropped, right?
00:33:13.000 And on her track wish list, she essentially states that people want to get rich and have things or experiences, but she just wants her man.
00:33:21.000 And she has a line in it that says, I just want you, have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you.
00:33:28.000 Charlie talked about getting married and having kids and even shared that he wanted that for Taylor when her engagement news came out.
00:33:35.000 And I like to think that Charlie, given his general dislike or maybe neutrality towards her, would really love that line and would just like your guys' thoughts on that.
00:33:44.000 So I'll chime in first.
00:33:45.000 You guys feel free to fill in the blanks here.
00:33:48.000 But Charlie, one of the last sort of, if you will, controversies that Charlie was in was when he just said, Taylor, I hope this makes you more conservative.
00:33:56.000 And I hope you get married.
00:33:58.000 You have lots of babies.
00:33:59.000 And then he said, but if you don't take his last name, you don't really mean it.
00:34:04.000 And so, which I still believe.
00:34:05.000 I still believe too.
00:34:07.000 But he was actually, it's funny because he took all this heat for it.
00:34:10.000 But he was, and I remember Laura Ingram asked him about it.
00:34:13.000 Our Taylor Swift experts.
00:34:14.000 Get her in the chair.
00:34:15.000 Yes.
00:34:16.000 And by the way, you're going to have to give a baby update, Daisy, as well.
00:34:20.000 But Charlie actually, actually, actually, in private group chat form, people don't believe.
00:34:26.000 He was actually really happy about it.
00:34:28.000 He's like, this is good.
00:34:29.000 He wanted young people to look at her and see the example of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey, disagreements aside, and said, I hope that they will follow in her footsteps, but just earlier.
00:34:39.000 Don't wait till you're like 34, 35.
00:34:41.000 How old is she now?
00:34:42.000 34.
00:34:42.000 36, I think.
00:34:44.000 But I will say, hi.
00:34:46.000 Hi, everyone.
00:34:47.000 How's the baby?
00:34:48.000 Great.
00:34:49.000 Sorry, are you naming your baby Taylor Swift?
00:34:51.000 No, no.
00:34:52.000 Blake actually thinks I should name my baby first name turning middle name point, but I don't know.
00:34:57.000 This could be an option.
00:34:58.000 How about Charlie Point?
00:35:00.000 But, okay, I will say, because we've had this conversation with Charlie before where he's like, I just wish that I'm glad she said I had I wish she would have done it sooner.
00:35:07.000 And Emma and I have told him every time she, all of her last albums, if you listen to them, she was in a relationship for like six years.
00:35:14.000 And every song, she's like, I want to get married.
00:35:17.000 I want to have children.
00:35:19.000 This person kind of, her last album was like, he blindsided me.
00:35:22.000 He did not want these things that he said he wanted.
00:35:25.000 So then I think that happens to a lot of women where then they end up 32, 33, 34.
00:35:30.000 Yes, having found someone.
00:35:31.000 Men, do not waste women's time.
00:35:33.000 My admonition to you men in the audience: get in and get out if you know you don't want to keep going.
00:35:39.000 Do not linger on.
00:35:40.000 Do not waste your time.
00:35:41.000 That goes both ways, by the way.
00:35:43.000 But I have seen that particular dynamic play out so many times.
00:35:48.000 I mean, even, I remember we talked about this, you, me, and Charlie when her last album came out.
00:35:52.000 And that was right after the breakup.
00:35:54.000 And she said, I'm, I'm mad, essentially, that you let me give you all that youth for free, like just feeding me all these lies to keep giving that to you.
00:36:01.000 So now I'm really happy for her.
00:36:03.000 Charlie was happy.
00:36:04.000 That's also on the woman, though, because I'm telling you, if a man wants to marry you, what do you think the approach is?
00:36:09.000 Okay.
00:36:10.000 Question for the audience.
00:36:11.000 I'd love freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:36:13.000 Tell me what you think.
00:36:13.000 If you are a woman or a man who wants to get married to your boyfriend or girlfriend, at what point do you say, if you're not going to commit to me, I'm done.
00:36:24.000 I'm moving on.
00:36:25.000 I love you and I want this to work, but if you're not going to commit to me, I got to cut this off.
00:36:29.000 At what point do you, because it wasn't she with him for like four years?
00:36:33.000 Yeah.
00:36:33.000 So that's way too long.
00:36:35.000 That's way too long.
00:36:36.000 A long time.
00:36:37.000 I went on my first date with my husband when I was 19.
00:36:41.000 And essentially on our first date, I was like, either we are going to be exclusive and be in a relationship, or I'm not interested in dating you or really being your friend.
00:36:50.000 And then he was like, oh my gosh.
00:36:52.000 Okay, we're going to be together now.
00:36:54.000 And so it works when girls do that.
00:36:56.000 I'm just saying.
00:36:57.000 And the other thing, too, instantly called those four other girls and told them, Luke, if you're listening.
00:37:03.000 The other thing, too, is, you know, a lot of young Christian people save themselves for marriage.
00:37:07.000 And so when you're dating and when you're in.
00:37:09.000 It's a common weapon that's historic.
00:37:11.000 You know, in Elizabeth and I, our case, you know, we want to, we wanted to get it done.
00:37:16.000 We wanted to get married.
00:37:17.000 And that does tend to incentivize getting married.
00:37:20.000 So yeah, it's your point.
00:37:23.000 It's a very advanced form of societal tech.
00:37:27.000 Yeah.
00:37:27.000 Monogamy.
00:37:28.000 And that was the last conversation we had with Charlie.
00:37:31.000 Why is monogamy good?
00:37:32.000 And why is traditional European Christian monogamy great?
00:37:35.000 This is crazy.
00:37:36.000 It's like, it's actually insane when you look at how much better it is than alternatives.
00:37:40.000 And you look at societies that don't have it.
00:37:42.000 And like the men and women hate each other.
00:37:44.000 You look at our society where men and women have way more conflict than they did in the past.
00:37:49.000 The Christian view of marriage is actually so great for curbing the worst impulses of both men and women and making them work together as partners.
00:37:59.000 You don't have men stringing along women.
00:38:02.000 You don't have them victimizing women or preying on them.
00:38:04.000 Women, you don't have them like constantly trying to upgrade to a higher status guy, totally polygamy.
00:38:10.000 No, you're right.
00:38:11.000 And here, here is 156.
00:38:13.000 This was Charlie talking about T. Swift getting married.
00:38:16.000 This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative.
00:38:23.000 Engage in reality more and get outside of the abstract clouds.
00:38:27.000 Reject feminism.
00:38:29.000 Submit to your husband, Taylor.
00:38:31.000 You're not in charge.
00:38:33.000 And most importantly, I can't wait to go to a Taylor Kelsey concert.
00:38:41.000 I can't say it without laughing.
00:38:43.000 You got to change your name.
00:38:45.000 If not, you don't really mean it.
00:38:47.000 Congratulations, Taylor.
00:38:48.000 He meant that.
00:38:49.000 All right, Daisy.
00:38:50.000 Okay, I just want to say back to our caller, Kelsey, your question.
00:38:54.000 Emma Kay was texting me about the album last night, and she was like, I wish that Charlie we could tell him about this song because I have the lyrics put up here, but she's like, everyone wants to go on spring break.
00:39:05.000 They want dogs that they can call their kids.
00:39:07.000 They want a yacht.
00:39:09.000 They want an Oscar.
00:39:10.000 And she literally says, I just want you, a bunch of kids dreaming about the driveway with a basketball hoop.
00:39:17.000 Settle down.
00:39:18.000 Wow.
00:39:18.000 Got a wish list.
00:39:19.000 I just want you.
00:39:20.000 And we were proven.
00:39:23.000 Charlie's prophetic.
00:39:24.000 Are you going to read the lyrics to the Woods song now?
00:39:27.000 No, I'm okay.
00:39:28.000 I don't even think I've listened to you.
00:39:29.000 I do want to just ask the caller: how do you feel that your first name is going to be Taylor Swift's last name?
00:39:37.000 I've thought about that and I am a little uncomfortable, but our name is spelled differently.
00:39:44.000 There you go.
00:39:44.000 All right.
00:39:45.000 All right.

00:40:49.000 All right, so we've had just a really this hour just flies by every time.
00:40:55.000 Are we done with shames?
00:40:56.000 Like just one shame this hour, right?
00:40:59.000 I don't know, Blake.
00:41:00.000 Do you want to do anything?
00:41:00.000 It's fun to do more.
00:41:01.000 It would be two minutes to shames.
00:41:03.000 Do you have one you want to hit?
00:41:05.000 No.
00:41:05.000 You don't.
00:41:06.000 Tahanisi Coates, Nicole Hannah Jones, Don Lamont.
00:41:09.000 JB Pritz.
00:41:10.000 People don't like it when we talk about Don Lamon, by the way.
00:41:12.000 I saw your emails.
00:41:13.000 I saw Don.
00:41:14.000 Oh, man.
00:41:15.000 Which one would we want to go after here?
00:41:17.000 There's so many.
00:41:18.000 There are ways to do it.
00:41:19.000 Look at this.
00:41:20.000 Yes, on a Creed concert at halftime.
00:41:22.000 One million times, yes.
00:41:24.000 Have Creed, any rock 90s Christian band that hasn't sold out.
00:41:27.000 And yes, do it.
00:41:28.000 The whole USA would support you.
00:41:30.000 You have the opportunity to ratio the stupid halftime show and reveal the heart of the nation.
00:41:35.000 Do it.
00:41:35.000 That's from Aaron.
00:41:36.000 I love that.
00:41:37.000 Should we do an Elon Omar shaming?
00:41:40.000 Oh, we could do that one.
00:41:41.000 Yeah, let's do that one.
00:41:42.000 Let's do 138.
00:41:43.000 Shame.
00:41:43.000 All right, 138.
00:41:44.000 Shame.
00:41:46.000 Shame.
00:41:47.000 And so the idea that this is a white nation that needs to be preserved is a fascinatingly disgusting view because this country is one for the many.
00:42:05.000 It's one for the many.
00:42:06.000 It's one for everyone on planet Earth, including Ilhan Omar and her dad, who like worked for a dictatorship in Somalia that got overthrown, so that they can come here and she can marry her brother, which I'm just going to say because it's 100% true.
00:42:20.000 Yeah.
00:42:20.000 And if she thinks it's not true, like, you know, please sue me, Ilhan Omar, because I'm pretty sure it's true.
00:42:25.000 And it should be investigated to basically commit immigration fraud, steal a bunch of money.
00:42:30.000 Like, what a disaster.
00:42:31.000 Like, it's so bad what's happening in America where you can have a lawmaker come in and say, I look out for the interests of Somalia first.
00:42:40.000 And there's not really anything we can do about this because she now is in the government.
00:42:43.000 She is controlling the lever that would do what we should do, which is deport her back to Somalia.
00:42:47.000 Is there a way to denaturalize?
00:42:49.000 You can if you did crimes or fraud while getting your immigration, like while getting your citizenship.
00:42:53.000 But that feels oddly specific and relevant to this particular conversation.
00:42:58.000 Shame.
00:42:59.000 Shame.
00:43:00.000 Shame on Ilhan.
00:43:01.000 Shame.
00:43:02.000 Our next caller here, we have Mary.
00:43:06.000 Mary, are you there?
00:43:08.000 We are ready for your question.
00:43:10.000 I am.
00:43:10.000 Hi, guys.
00:43:11.000 Sorry about the background noise.
00:43:12.000 We are traveling at the moment.
00:43:14.000 You're fine.
00:43:15.000 But I want to say, you guys, I am so impressed with how you guys are carrying on the show.
00:43:22.000 It's still surreal, you know, to us that, you know, Charlie's gone, but it feels like he's still here.
00:43:30.000 Erica has been such a source of just power.
00:43:35.000 It's been amazing to watch.
00:43:37.000 But my question, I'm actually curious if you have some advice on, you know, with the current turmoil and division that's going on, what practical role do you think the local church could offer to young people that the digital world can't?
00:43:54.000 That would inspire them to choose faith over fear and actually come back in person to church.
00:44:01.000 Mikey?
00:44:02.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:44:03.000 You're young.
00:44:04.000 You know church.
00:44:05.000 Yeah, I'm young.
00:44:06.000 I've seen him in church before.
00:44:07.000 It's true.
00:44:08.000 Yeah.
00:44:08.000 I kind of dabble in all of it on the weekdays.
00:44:11.000 Sometimes maybe I'll go to a mass or something.
00:44:14.000 On the weekends, go to another church.
00:44:16.000 As much Jesus as I can get.
00:44:18.000 But right now for young people, the biggest thing is like Forrest Frank, hearing from Christian artists, going back to church.
00:44:26.000 But then also I'm seeing from messages I'm getting are young people coming to our turning point events.
00:44:33.000 And so a lot of them are like wanting to come to America Fest, wanting to plug in.
00:44:37.000 By the way, we do a Sunday service and worship service at AmericaFest.
00:44:41.000 Yeah, we do.
00:44:42.000 Every Sunday.
00:44:43.000 And I think there is like this thing, Mary.
00:44:46.000 I've been talking about it a little bit more and more and more, but this, you know, this idea of new wine and new wineskins, right?
00:44:52.000 You can't put new wine in old wineskins because it will burst, right?
00:44:56.000 That's the parable that Jesus gives us.
00:44:59.000 And I think God is doing something new with the new generation.
00:45:02.000 So don't force what he's doing into an old paradigm, into like the image that you have in your head of what it's supposed to look like.
00:45:10.000 Because there is this, the old way was kind of bifurcating the gospel message and a political message or a cultural message or whatever.
00:45:19.000 I think that God is saying our whole lives have to be integrated.
00:45:22.000 Our patriotism, our faith, you know, they're going to call this like Christian nationals or something.
00:45:26.000 I'm not saying you need to vote for this candidate or that candidate.
00:45:30.000 It might mean that.
00:45:31.000 It oftentimes probably does mean that, but we don't have to make it about that.
00:45:35.000 What we just have to say is don't bifurcate your life.
00:45:37.000 Integrate your faith, just like Charlie did.
00:45:40.000 And I think when it just comes off naturally and you're just honest about what's informing your political views or your cultural views, people respect that.
00:45:47.000 And I think it's a lot more natural.
00:45:49.000 So just, I would just say, be open-minded.
00:45:51.000 And to Mikey's point, I think it's a great idea.
00:45:53.000 Send him to Amfest.
00:45:54.000 Send him to Amfest.
00:45:54.000 Yeah, send them to, or get him plugged in at local chapter meetings and just have community.
00:46:00.000 That's the key.
00:46:01.000 We're going to get to one last question here.
00:46:02.000 Tracy, who's in Portland.
00:46:04.000 Tracy, what's your question?
00:46:06.000 60 seconds.
00:46:08.000 Hi there.
00:46:08.000 I have 60 seconds to talk.
00:46:09.000 Is that what you're saying?
00:46:10.000 Yeah, it's a quick one.
00:46:11.000 Sorry.
00:46:12.000 Oh, boy.
00:46:13.000 Well, I'll fire off the questions.
00:46:15.000 Yeah, I'm a fourth generation Oregonian.
00:46:16.000 I have two generations that follow me.
00:46:18.000 So I'm old enough to be your moms.
00:46:21.000 And three questions this morning.
00:46:23.000 How do I support sorter, Nick Sorter, who was arrested and released this morning in Portland down at the riots?
00:46:33.000 And then same with another gal that was hit in the face.
00:46:36.000 Anyway, how can I support Katie?
00:46:39.000 You know, I live, I have 100 acres 20 minutes from Portland.
00:46:44.000 Can give them a place of respite.
00:46:47.000 Oh, that's so sweet.
00:46:48.000 Yeah, so yeah, I'll just say this really quick just because we're running out of time.
00:46:52.000 So Harmeet Dylan is on the case and she is going to be looking into the Portland PD because you shouldn't be arresting journalists.
00:47:00.000 You should be arresting Antifa.
00:47:01.000 You should be arresting rioters.
00:47:03.000 So raise your voice as loud as you can.
00:47:06.000 Tell the world on social media, have Nick Sorters back and Katie Davis course back, who's also been involved with Turning Point USA in the past.
00:47:13.000 Thank you guys so much.
