Transcript

00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am, Lord Museman.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 All right, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:11.000 If you are a member at members.charlikirk.com, that's members.charliekirk.com.
00:01:16.000 You can participate in this hour and ask us questions live on this show.
00:01:21.000 And we've also got tons of emails, a ton of emails about halftime.
00:01:25.000 Like, this is like the number one email topic that we get.
00:01:31.000 It's like motorhead Patriot.
00:01:34.000 Please check with Focus on the Family and Dr. Dobson's family talk.
00:01:37.000 They've had multiple Christian players that were brave enough to share their whole story with the audience.
00:01:44.000 I'm confident they'd stand on at Super Bowl Sunday.
00:01:49.000 This is a halftime show.
00:01:50.000 With the turning point team and Jason Whitlock, you guys could do your own full game coverage and halftime show without ever breaking to the national networks.
00:01:58.000 What do you think?
00:01:59.000 That's great.
00:01:59.000 That's from Josh.
00:02:01.000 Maggie, I am definitely on board for Charlie's halftime show.
00:02:05.000 I love that.
00:02:05.000 They just call it Charlie's halftime show.
00:02:07.000 In fact, I don't even want to watch the Super Bowl, which I've always enjoyed watching until the past few years when they made it political.
00:02:14.000 Maybe you can do something before and after the halftime show as well, just brainstorming, but I would rather watch a dog competition or maybe get together some of the top high school football players and they play a game.
00:02:24.000 Not bad.
00:02:26.000 This one's from Janet.
00:02:27.000 It says, as a former San Diego longtime resident and devoted Christ follower, I vote for including Scott Turner in the show.
00:02:33.000 I'm not familiar with Scott Turner.
00:02:34.000 Do you know who that is?
00:02:35.000 Scott Turner, San Diego?
00:02:36.000 Oh, yeah, yeah, like big famous Scott Turner is that HUD HUD secretary.
00:02:46.000 Oh, is that?
00:02:47.000 Oh, HUD.
00:02:48.000 I just took a picture with him.
00:02:49.000 Yeah, he's incredible.
00:02:50.000 Whoops.
00:02:51.000 Yeah, that makes sense.
00:02:51.000 I didn't realize.
00:02:52.000 He's a former athlete.
00:02:53.000 Scott would be great.
00:02:54.000 Love Scott.
00:02:55.000 And his whole team is really great, too.
00:02:56.000 Have him involved.
00:02:58.000 We have Burgess Owens.
00:02:59.000 Yep.
00:03:00.000 What about Jordan Sparks and Gladys Knight or Sparks and Jennifer Hudson?
00:03:04.000 This is from Sandra.
00:03:05.000 Keep the suggestions coming.
00:03:07.000 Keep the suggestions coming.
00:03:09.000 I love that idea, like renaming some of this with, and this is something to think about.
00:03:14.000 We'll talk about this at the team, but you know, like Dick Clark's New Year's.
00:03:18.000 Oh, yeah.
00:03:19.000 Charlie Kirk.
00:03:19.000 Charlie Kirk's Super Bowl Sunday.
00:03:21.000 I guess we have to worry.
00:03:23.000 But yeah, the halftime.
00:03:25.000 Charlie Kirk's halftime.
00:03:26.000 Super halftime.
00:03:27.000 All American.
00:03:29.000 All-American.
00:03:30.000 Super all-American.
00:03:31.000 Big sports.
00:03:33.000 I love that.
00:03:34.000 And Roger says, there you go.
00:03:35.000 Keep brainstorming those ideas.
00:03:36.000 NFL players, maybe baseball, basketball, an all-sports event on the true good and strong and what real patriotism and masculinity looks like.
00:03:46.000 Steve says everyone will be united in changing the flicking channel on Butt Bunny Saturday.
00:03:52.000 All right.
00:03:52.000 Okay.
00:03:53.000 Sorry, Steve, you're feisty here.
00:03:56.000 And Paul says, yes, yes, yes, to Jason Whitlock being involved in the halftime show.
00:04:01.000 And yes, Andrew, the excellence continues.
00:04:01.000 Can't wait.
00:04:03.000 Thank you all.
00:04:04.000 I love it.
00:04:04.000 Thank you guys.
00:04:06.000 But we've got so many.
00:04:07.000 We were just talking with Erica about A.J. McCarron.
00:04:10.000 Oh, yeah.
00:04:11.000 A.J. McCarron has been inspired by Charlie Kirk to run for lieutenant governor of Alabama, right?
00:04:16.000 So you got AJ, you've got Harrison Butker.
00:04:19.000 You got Brett Favre.
00:04:20.000 Brett Favre.
00:04:21.000 Brett Favre and Charlie were close.
00:04:23.000 Herschel Walker, who's now Ambassador Walker.
00:04:25.000 Yeah, that's a dude.
00:04:26.000 There's a lot of sports guys.
00:04:28.000 Because you know what Jason was talking about is that sports bring out this muscular Christianity, this muscular faith.
00:04:34.000 You don't have to be a perfect person or believe that you don't even have to be like a Christian, really.
00:04:42.000 I mean, we want you to come.
00:04:43.000 There's going to be worship.
00:04:44.000 We're definitely going to include worship.
00:04:45.000 There's going to be rock music, country music.
00:04:47.000 We're going to have a smattering of these genres, but you don't have to be clean as a driven.
00:04:53.000 No, we want all to come, one and all, and just celebrate the things that make this country great and strong.
00:04:58.000 That's the whole point.
00:05:00.000 And we would be remiss to not talk about Antonio Brown, who is Antonio Brown would come.
00:05:06.000 AB, yeah, have AB, and he brought out Levium Bell, who was out there with us registering voters.
00:05:13.000 We should do a whole flag football game with all the players.
00:05:19.000 We could do the softball game.
00:05:21.000 It could be better than we can't say the term that they use for the all-star game that they use.
00:05:28.000 The super all-star game.
00:05:29.000 Yeah, the super all-star game, but we could do our own celebrities, super because everybody hates that all-star game that the NFL runs.
00:05:39.000 Yeah, we can't.
00:05:41.000 I don't even know what that is.
00:05:42.000 I don't know if everybody talks about that.
00:05:45.000 Yeah, that's often everybody hates that.
00:05:47.000 We could do our own version of that, too.
00:05:49.000 Well, let's crawl before we walk.
00:05:50.000 Maybe that's here, too.
00:05:51.000 We have Adrian.
00:05:53.000 Adrian, you are calling into the Charlie Kirk show, members.charlikirk.com to join.
00:05:58.000 So please, you guys help us keep the lights on and help us secure our future.
00:06:02.000 So please join members at charliekirk.com.
00:06:04.000 Adrian, what is your question?
00:06:06.000 Good morning, gentlemen.
00:06:08.000 Good morning.
00:06:09.000 Talk to me about this Kings rally.
00:06:11.000 There's just a bunch of old people, and I say that loosely because I'm on that side of it.
00:06:17.000 But why are they so unhappy?
00:06:18.000 They just got a COA adjustment for their Social Security.
00:06:22.000 The stock market's been great for their whole life, basically.
00:06:25.000 They own their own homes.
00:06:27.000 I just don't know what they're so unhappy about.
00:06:30.000 I mean, listen, are you trying to get me in trouble again with some of our audience members?
00:06:36.000 I will tell you.
00:06:37.000 So I just have to take a step back because Charlie used to get infuriated about this.
00:06:42.000 If he ever said anything about the over 65 crowd, he would just get blown up in the emails.
00:06:49.000 And it's crazy because the people that watch this show and listen to this show on radio and podcasting, they're the good guys.
00:06:57.000 They're the ones that get it.
00:06:58.000 That we love you, obviously.
00:07:00.000 We love all of you.
00:07:02.000 And so, but there is a thing of certain older generations where they feel sort of like I'm not being respectful to my elders or that Charlie wasn't being respectful to the other to his elders.
00:07:14.000 I don't know what it is because, you know, I'm a millennial.
00:07:18.000 Charlie was a millennial.
00:07:20.000 And, you know, we have Gen Z all out in the bullpen out here.
00:07:23.000 And we're used to saying, you know, good and bad things about our generations because all generations are a mix, right?
00:07:30.000 They have different tendencies, maybe different characteristics generation by generation.
00:07:35.000 But there is a tendency to want to defend an entire generation when you get above a certain age threshold, let's just say.
00:07:44.000 And I don't understand that because I have been called all kinds of nasty names my whole life for being a millennial.
00:07:49.000 And Tyler, you're a millennial as well.
00:07:51.000 So we both get it.
00:07:52.000 And by the way, we share those critiques, but that doesn't mean that we share those values.
00:07:56.000 We're conservatives.
00:07:58.000 We, you know, we hope more of our millennial brethren and sisters will become conservatives.
00:08:02.000 Well, what's really weird is that what we've seen is that millennials, when we were younger, acted like what boomers are acting like now.
00:08:11.000 Oh, you said the word.
00:08:13.000 I know, but I love boomers.
00:08:15.000 But here I love boomers.
00:08:17.000 No, but this is boomers need to embrace this and fix it, right?
00:08:21.000 Which is that millennials are fixing the problems that we had started.
00:08:26.000 Gen Z is hot.
00:08:27.000 We had these highly environmentalist millennials.
00:08:29.000 We had all of these protest millennials.
00:08:32.000 Now we're seeing protest boomers.
00:08:35.000 And that's it's it's a very weird thing because you're exactly right.
00:08:39.000 Is that everyone that you see that's out at these rallies is like usually an old lady.
00:08:45.000 I think what it is for the most part.
00:08:47.000 Yeah, you get and you get this even on the GOP where you're asking for volunteers.
00:08:50.000 This is what makes turning point turning point action so exceptional is because we'll do these volunteer drives for valid chasing and things like that and we'll get a lot of young people.
00:08:58.000 So it's visually just a lot of the reporters like, wow, this is a bunch of young people.
00:09:01.000 But traditionally, you get a lot of older people because they're retired.
00:09:05.000 They have time on their hands.
00:09:06.000 They understand life in a bigger way and they understand the stakes that are at play.
00:09:11.000 But also, you know, I think there is a thing, and you mentioned they've got the cost of living, the stock adjustment on their social security.
00:09:18.000 The stock market is up.
00:09:19.000 Like, I think the SP 500 is up 36% since the tariff apocalypse, Adrian.
00:09:24.000 And so, yeah, their 401ks are looking good.
00:09:26.000 Their retirements are looking good.
00:09:27.000 They've got their homes probably all paid off.
00:09:29.000 And they got time on their hands.
00:09:30.000 They're retired.
00:09:31.000 And here's the other thing.
00:09:32.000 I think that boomers, left-wing hippie boomers, not the ones in this audience, we love you guys, but the hippie boomers, they want to relive the glory days of the 1960s and the civil rights era and the protesting, the marching in the streets, and the burning the bras and the, you know, all the things.
00:09:47.000 And they believe that the younger generation has lacked that sort of gumption, that inspiration, and they're just excited to get back out there and march against somebody they've been told is evil.
00:09:59.000 Namely, that's Donald Trump.
00:10:00.000 He's been called Hitler, a fascist, an authoritarian, a dictator, a racist, all the things.
00:10:06.000 And they go on Facebook and all their friends reinforce those lies.
00:10:10.000 And so they think that they have this righteous cause.
00:10:13.000 And frankly, they're the ones that have all the time.
00:10:14.000 Meanwhile, the young people can't afford rent.
00:10:17.000 They can't afford their food.
00:10:18.000 They're depressed.
00:10:18.000 They're riddled with anxiety medication.
00:10:21.000 And they just can't get off the couch because what does it all mean?
00:10:24.000 The nihilism has set in.
00:10:28.000 Are you ready to drop up to 20 pounds or more by the new year?
00:10:32.000 At PhD Weight Loss, they've cracked the code with their metabolic reset system, a science-backed method that gets your body to burn fat first.
00:10:40.000 The program is simple.
00:10:42.000 They tell you when to eat, what to eat, and customize the program to your body's needs and your schedule.
00:10:47.000 But that's not the best part.
00:10:49.000 PhD is the only program that guarantees your success and your results.
00:10:54.000 No starving, no endless workouts, no risky drugs, just a smarter system that resets your metabolism, shrinks dangerous belly fat, and keeps the weight off permanently.
00:11:04.000 PhD can help you too, and they won't let you fail.
00:11:07.000 Give them a call and schedule your weight loss consultation and see if the program is right for you.
00:11:12.000 Call 864-644-1900.
00:11:14.000 That is 864-644-1900.
00:11:17.000 When you call right now, they'll waive your consultation fee.
00:11:20.000 You'll get two extra weeks free, and they'll cover the cost of your food during the program.
00:11:24.000 And just for booking, you'll receive Dr. Ashley's book, Five Steps to Reset the Scale.
00:11:30.000 The offer is only good in October.
00:11:30.000 Hurry.
00:11:32.000 So call now, mention the code New Year.
00:11:34.000 Call 864-644-1900.
00:11:38.000 That's 864-644-1900.
00:11:41.000 Or visit their website at myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:45.000 That's 864-644-1900.
00:11:49.000 And mention code NEWYER or visit their website at myphdweightloss.com.
00:11:55.000 Adrian, does what I said, does that resonate?
00:11:58.000 Is that kind of where you're going with this?
00:12:00.000 Or do you have more questions?
00:12:02.000 No, I think you really answered it.
00:12:04.000 It's just really disappointing for how much they've been blessed all their lives.
00:12:08.000 And instead of trying to give back and volunteer, which you talked about, and they do, but to be protesting and calling at the No Kings rally was just really disappointing.
00:12:18.000 Absolutely disappointing.
00:12:19.000 Well, I mean, it was, you know, and by the way, you're absolutely right.
00:12:24.000 But you have, you got to understand their peers are egging them on.
00:12:27.000 Like, show this picture.
00:12:28.000 This is George Conway, 92.
00:12:32.000 And he's wearing a shirt that says, I am Antifa.
00:12:35.000 And yeah, that's a man.
00:12:37.000 That is a biological male, despite maybe the confusion that's setting in with our audience.
00:12:45.000 Because he, by the way, this shows how out of touch he is.
00:12:48.000 He's never been surrounded by a bunch of black block rioters, antagonists in the streets.
00:12:55.000 He's never seen that.
00:12:56.000 He's never been punched in the face or had a cement milkshake thrown at his head like Andy No.
00:13:01.000 He's never gone face to face with them like Jack Posovic.
00:13:04.000 Charlie was attacked by Antifa all the time.
00:13:07.000 And so this is what they're hearing.
00:13:08.000 I am Antifa.
00:13:09.000 They think it just means anti-fascist and Trump is a fascist.
00:13:12.000 Why is Trump a fascist?
00:13:13.000 Well, they can't ever really explain it.
00:13:16.000 That's the thing.
00:13:17.000 I dare any liberal watching this, and there are a few, send us an email, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:13:22.000 Explain to me how Trump is a fascist.
00:13:25.000 Explain to me.
00:13:27.000 And I will give you 10x the examples back in your face.
00:13:32.000 I'll explain why you're wrong, first of all, and I'll give you 10x examples back at you of how Joe Biden and the Democrats literally became an authoritarian fascist regime against conservatives.
00:13:42.000 And it kind of goes back to this example that we have with Letitia James, where she is claiming victim status because she's being prosecuted for mortgage fraud and bank fraud.
00:13:53.000 And she is the poster child of weaponizing the justice system against her political rivals, namely President Trump.
00:14:00.000 That's what she ran on.
00:14:01.000 She is the exact wrong person to be giving this message.
00:14:04.000 And yet, we saw in those clips, she's got people out in the streets cheering her on, saying, you go, girl, go, Letitia.
00:14:11.000 And so it's a bit of cognitive dissonance, and it's a bit of reliving the glory days.
00:14:14.000 They are stuck in a Facebook algorithm where all their buddies are just feeding them slop and AI slop.
00:14:21.000 And they just want to go back to the bra-burning days when they were the righteous youth and they can still feel it and gives them something to live for.
00:14:28.000 And that'll be the last point I make: is that they are not probably going to church.
00:14:34.000 And this is their church.
00:14:36.000 This is their form of worship because we all have a God-shaped hole in our heart and we want something to fill it.
00:14:43.000 And if it's not God, it'll be secular humanism or whatever.
00:14:46.000 Tyler, you have any other thoughts on that really quick?
00:14:49.000 Just be careful.
00:14:50.000 Don't poke the bear.
00:14:52.000 I think you hit it right, which is just like we've seen this, you know, this revival of 60s-style baby boomers who are now bored and agitated, the left-wing and the right-wing baby boomers.
00:15:10.000 Now, this is their chance to step up and counter that.
00:15:13.000 That's a great note.
00:15:14.000 If you're a right-wing baby boomer, which we have some of those in our audience, please don't send me nasty grams on email.
00:15:20.000 I love you.
00:15:21.000 We love you guys.
00:15:22.000 We need you guys to step forward.
00:15:24.000 We need you guys to get into the breach.
00:15:27.000 There's a way to explain this, and it's not just baby boomers.
00:15:30.000 it's gen X. It's, uh, it's my parents.
00:15:33.000 My parents are, are gen X. Yeah.
00:15:36.000 They're, they're older gen X. And so they never, they had a lifestyle.
00:15:42.000 I mean, they came up through the dot-com boom and they made all their money doing that and all of that.
00:15:46.000 And they're basically becoming retirees.
00:15:49.000 And they've never had to do any political activism before.
00:15:52.000 And I know this because, again, my parents were some of these people.
00:15:54.000 They niched it their whole lives.
00:15:56.000 They never were actively politically and active politically.
00:16:00.000 And now they're learning that for the first time.
00:16:02.000 And so this is the opportunity for those Gen Xers to combat and learn.
00:16:08.000 And in addition to the baby boomers who are now retired, if you've never done any political activism, you can learn that here with us at Turning Point Action at Turning Point.
00:16:17.000 You can follow the lead.
00:16:19.000 You can work with our young people who are doing a really good job at it.
00:16:22.000 And we're happy to work all together to basically combat all the craziness that we're seeing out of the No Kings rallies.
00:16:28.000 I totally agree.
00:16:28.000 And we get a lot of these emails, like, especially in the wake of Charlie's assassination, like we want to start chapters of Turning Point, but we're not students.
00:16:36.000 We're parents.
00:16:37.000 We're grandparents.
00:16:38.000 How do you do that?
00:16:38.000 We already have them.
00:16:40.000 It's called coalitions at Turning Point Action.
00:16:42.000 So if you are not a student, the mission is get involved politically, download the app and start making calls and sending texts.
00:16:49.000 Brianna, we have Brianna.
00:16:51.000 Please unmute yourself.
00:16:52.000 You are now part of the Charlie Kirk show.
00:16:55.000 Right.
00:16:56.000 So I go to a Christian law school.
00:16:59.000 I'm in a lot of Christian circles.
00:17:01.000 And one of the most common things I find in these circles is the idea of third wayism.
00:17:07.000 And I'm just curious, what is the best response to that?
00:17:11.000 Yeah, no, we talked about that with Megan Basham yesterday, actually, just about how pervasive third wayism is.
00:17:20.000 And it's basically, for those in the audience that need a little brush up on it, it's saying, we don't want to, we're Christians.
00:17:25.000 We don't want to be left.
00:17:26.000 We don't want to be right.
00:17:27.000 We don't want to be divisive.
00:17:29.000 We're going to go, we're going to just preach the gospel.
00:17:32.000 And it's a new way of saying an old thing, right?
00:17:35.000 Because we saw that.
00:17:37.000 That was essentially what Turning Point or TPOSA faith was launched to combat, right?
00:17:43.000 Because we saw this in COVID.
00:17:44.000 There was no third way in COVID.
00:17:47.000 So this is what happens when tyrannical governments get their way and they say, you're not allowed to meet anymore because we have a pandemic and you're going to spread the pandemic in your church gatherings.
00:17:58.000 If you do not become political in your theology, politics will become theological.
00:18:04.000 It will invade your religious space.
00:18:08.000 And I want to use the Barry Goldwater quote.
00:18:10.000 This is the perfect opportunity to use the Barry Goldwater quote for this.
00:18:13.000 Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice.
00:18:16.000 Say it again.
00:18:17.000 Slow.
00:18:18.000 Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice.
00:18:21.000 So Barry Goldwater was famous for saying this.
00:18:24.000 And what the background meaning of this, and I'll change in defense of liberty, but let's change it to in the defense of moral liberty and in defense of God and righteousness.
00:18:39.000 Extremism is the villainization of the defense of all that is good by the left.
00:18:47.000 So this happens quite frequently in society where they will actually villainize all Christians, right?
00:18:54.000 We hear this term Christian nationalism now.
00:18:57.000 They will almost always call you an extremist anytime that you stand up for God, anytime that you stand up for Jesus, anytime that you vocalize your religious beliefs.
00:19:09.000 That's why we always talk about politics being downstream from culture and your culture is your religious beliefs.
00:19:17.000 You cannot live in a society where you say, I'm not going to be left or right.
00:19:24.000 I'm going to just be focused on my faith because, again, your politics come from whatever your faith is.
00:19:33.000 And your defense of those beliefs is going to always be called extremism.
00:19:39.000 That's why the embracing, again, this Barry will go water quote: extremism in defense of liberty is no vice, is that we have to stand for what's right, no matter what.
00:19:49.000 There is no fit setting, and you're always going to be called, you're always going to be called left or right by the opposition, depending upon where you're.
00:19:59.000 And for us, we're always going to be called super right-wing, super extremist for holding those biblicals.
00:20:06.000 Those very basic biblical beliefs.
00:20:08.000 Well, and that's what I would say as well: is that you have to pick a side.
00:20:13.000 And I'm telling you, the politics will become theological.
00:20:20.000 Would we have even imagined a few years ago that we would be calling boys, girls, and girls, boys?
00:20:26.000 Well, this is a real thing.
00:20:27.000 That is a theological argument because the Bible tells us that he made them male and female.
00:20:33.000 And that's very binary.
00:20:35.000 And then all of a sudden, the Academy comes in and says, Well, no, we've defined a few other categories of people.
00:20:41.000 And by the way, you don't get to choose anymore.
00:20:44.000 We're going to force this and coerce this upon you and your kids.
00:20:48.000 And you don't even just have to accept it as a subcategory.
00:20:51.000 We're going to force your participation in it because we're going to send boys into the girls' locker room and we're going to send boys onto the sports field.
00:20:58.000 That is a theological argument they are making from a secular position that is invading a moral position and it's invading our politics.
00:21:08.000 So you may not want to be political.
00:21:10.000 You may not want to pick a side.
00:21:11.000 You may not want to be divisive.
00:21:13.000 But I would challenge those people that are like that.
00:21:15.000 Do you fear God or do you fear man?
00:21:18.000 And your point, Andrew, is really good, which is that social justice is at the epicenter of third wayism.
00:21:25.000 And by your fruits, you shall know them.
00:21:30.000 What has been the outcome of social justice mentality?
00:21:34.000 And it's exactly what you just said: which is the end result of this has been putting men in girls' bathrooms.
00:21:42.000 And it's justifying abortions.
00:21:44.000 It's justifying divorce.
00:21:46.000 It's justifying all kinds of societal ills that ultimately peel apart the foundations of our culture and the goodness and the truth and the beauty of our culture one by one by one.
00:21:57.000 And so if you're not going to pick a side on that, I would just challenge you and say, look at the life that Charlie Kirk lived.
00:22:03.000 He lived boldly, he confronted evil and he proclaimed the truth and he was killed for it.
00:22:07.000 And he sparked a revival because he lived fearlessly and boldly.
00:22:11.000 That's the model.
00:22:14.000 When we started the Charlie Kirk show, we knew that we needed to have a back-end team that could really run our online store.
00:22:22.000 And that's why we turned to Shopify.
00:22:24.000 We didn't know where to start.
00:22:25.000 We didn't know what we were doing, but we knew that the folks at Shopify could help us out.
00:22:29.000 And they certainly have.

00:23:45.000 I'm going to read some of your emails, then we're going to get to our next person, which is going to be Elizabeth.
00:23:51.000 So if you're Elizabeth, get ready to go, but I'm going to read some of your emails.
00:23:54.000 I've got, we're getting flooded, flooded by emails about halftime show and boomers.
00:24:01.000 Those seem to be the two themes right now.
00:24:04.000 Cinda says Harrison Butker will not be available for the Super Bowl halftime show.
00:24:08.000 That is very wishful thinking, but I appreciate that as he will be playing.
00:24:13.000 But how about micing him up?
00:24:15.000 Interesting idea.
00:24:16.000 Creed from Tani, even if you need to hire artists that cover Creed songs, this needs to happen.
00:24:21.000 Whole Creed Thanksgiving set recreated.
00:24:24.000 Flying in the air and all.
00:24:25.000 Big, big, big.
00:24:26.000 Thank you, Tani.
00:24:27.000 We are in touch with Scott from Creed.
00:24:31.000 I will say that much.
00:24:33.000 April says, I have a suggestion for Charlie's halftime show.
00:24:36.000 Striper.
00:24:37.000 I'm sure Michael Sweet would love to be a part of this.
00:24:39.000 Love you guys.
00:24:39.000 Miss Miss, Miss Charlie, but you guys are doing such a great job.
00:24:42.000 I would love to hear a little bit about how you all met Charlie.
00:24:45.000 Oh, man.
00:24:46.000 That's, I mean, real quick, you want to give yours?
00:24:50.000 I've been through it a bunch of times, so people can.
00:24:52.000 I'll give you the.
00:24:53.000 Yeah.
00:24:53.000 I'll give you the opportunity because I don't think people have really heard your story.
00:24:56.000 Well, you know, we were talking about, I'm really sad about this.
00:25:00.000 I can't.
00:25:01.000 It's like I have so many Charlie memories.
00:25:04.000 I can't fully place the first one.
00:25:06.000 I remember the first phone call.
00:25:08.000 And I think the first time I met Charlie was when he traveled through Los Angeles because I was actually working in LA at the time.
00:25:14.000 And I think we met at this hotel, like at a restaurant, I think.
00:25:19.000 But anyways, one of the guys I was working with met him at an event in Florida.
00:25:24.000 And I was working at an agency, a communication shop.
00:25:29.000 And I ended up, I don't know what it was, actually.
00:25:33.000 It does stand out for this reason because the guy I was working with said, hey, you should pursue him to become, you know, to make Turning Point a client because I was part of an agency at the time.
00:25:42.000 And I just kind of doggedly kept emailing him being like, hey, hey.
00:25:46.000 And he's like, no, not yet.
00:25:47.000 We don't need this yet.
00:25:48.000 And then eventually he's like, hey, I'm going to be in LA, I think is what I thought about this because Tyler and I actually talked about this last night.
00:25:48.000 We don't need this yet.
00:25:55.000 And I never did that with anybody.
00:25:58.000 And you got to remember, Charlie was like way smaller than he became.
00:26:01.000 I think he had like a couple hundred thousand followers on Twitter.
00:26:04.000 I mean, it was still super very, very early.
00:26:07.000 I just got really dogged about pursuing Charlie.
00:26:10.000 And I just kept emailing him.
00:26:11.000 He's like, okay, he called me.
00:26:12.000 And then he's like, let's meet in LA.
00:26:14.000 I'm going to be there like next week.
00:26:15.000 I think that's how it happened.
00:26:16.000 And then the rest is history.
00:26:18.000 And we just kept, we just kept it going, kept building.
00:26:23.000 Janet says, no whining and complaining.
00:26:26.000 This boomer loves you.
00:26:27.000 I am super thankful for Charlie and the whole TPOSA team.
00:26:30.000 You rock.
00:26:31.000 Boomers at New No Kings is from Alexander.
00:26:33.000 Some of these boomers attending the rallies are probably retired and doing this for extra income.
00:26:37.000 It's a good point.
00:26:38.000 That's a really good point.
00:26:40.000 Oh my gosh, there's so many good one.
00:26:42.000 This is Jenny.
00:26:43.000 He says, a true Christian must take a biblical stand for truth and morals.
00:26:46.000 Too many people don't understand the importance of speaking up.
00:26:48.000 You cannot be lukewarm and be a follower of Christ.
00:26:51.000 I totally, totally agree.
00:26:53.000 So let's get to Elizabeth here.
00:26:55.000 Elizabeth, please unmute yourself.
00:26:56.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:26:57.000 Hi, guys.
00:26:58.000 Thank you so much for taking my call.
00:27:00.000 Of course.
00:27:02.000 Also, one more thing before I begin, the shame segment.
00:27:04.000 You need to make that weekly.
00:27:06.000 It's the best thing ever.
00:27:07.000 Don't worry.
00:27:07.000 We will.
00:27:08.000 But I like when Mikey's here.
00:27:11.000 It was Mikey's idea, I think, and Danny's.
00:27:14.000 And maybe Daisy had something to do with it too, but I love it.
00:27:16.000 And so Mikey is traveling this week.
00:27:19.000 But we will be doing that often.
00:27:21.000 So thank you.
00:27:22.000 Awesome.
00:27:23.000 So my question, or maybe more of a comment, is this.
00:27:26.000 New York City mayorial race.
00:27:28.000 They had a primary.
00:27:30.000 Cuomo lost in the primary.
00:27:32.000 Cuomo has no business being in there.
00:27:34.000 He murdered 15,000 senior citizens in their nursing homes.
00:27:37.000 He should be in prison for mass murder along with a few other governors in the blue states.
00:27:43.000 But I can defend Sleewall.
00:27:45.000 Everybody was pretending to work at McDonald's.
00:27:49.000 Donald Trump went to work at a McDonald's on his campaign.
00:27:52.000 And Curtis Sleewa is actually a McDonald's manager in 1979.
00:27:57.000 And the reason he started Guardians Angels was because the city was a complete crime-ridden disaster.
00:28:03.000 He organized groups of people to monitor the subways in groups of eight.
00:28:07.000 He actually became an international organization.
00:28:11.000 Mario Cuomo actually endorsed his work back in the late 80s when it was still under Dinkins.
00:28:17.000 So he has been able to build coalitions.
00:28:21.000 He has been able to build his organization into something international.
00:28:25.000 He hasn't murdered 15,000 people.
00:28:27.000 He's not a communist.
00:28:29.000 And the biggest lesson we can learn here is voting blue, no matter who, thought you the Democratic socialist party who are communists.
00:28:38.000 So if they want to save the city, you need to vote Republican.
00:28:42.000 Yeah, I mean, I don't disagree with your critiques of Andrew Cuomo at all.
00:28:48.000 I think he's done a terrible job trying to convince Republicans why they should even consider voting for him.
00:28:55.000 And I mean, that is the trick, right?
00:28:58.000 And so you've got three players here.
00:29:01.000 Mom Donnie is winning with immigrants.
00:29:04.000 He is at 46%-ish, maybe even higher.
00:29:09.000 He is a slick talker.
00:29:10.000 And people are just trying to figure out how are you going to keep this communist from becoming the mayor of one of the most important cities in the world in the financial capital of the West, really, along with London.
00:29:22.000 And so I get why people are confused on this because they look at Sliwa.
00:29:29.000 He's got 15%.
00:29:30.000 Cuomo's got 33%.
00:29:31.000 So they're just kind of like, hey, who can win?
00:29:34.000 Can anybody win?
00:29:35.000 And the fact that Cuomo is not going to completely destroy the financial system, he's not good.
00:29:42.000 I don't agree with him.
00:29:43.000 And you're totally right.
00:29:44.000 He handled COVID terribly, and a lot of elderly people died as a result of that.
00:29:49.000 Would it classify as murder?
00:29:52.000 I have to look into the details there.
00:29:54.000 I'm a little foggy on remembering.
00:29:56.000 But yeah, a lot of people believe that.
00:29:58.000 He was told don't do it.
00:29:59.000 And he did.
00:30:00.000 Thousands of people will die.
00:30:02.000 He wrote a bill that you can't sue the nursing homes.
00:30:05.000 And then he positive patients into the nursing homes.
00:30:10.000 Then they lied about the numbers and they didn't admit to what they did until about June.
00:30:15.000 And don't forget, he was writing a book for $5 million while he was doing all this.
00:30:20.000 Yeah, no, I totally agree.
00:30:22.000 I totally agree.
00:30:23.000 Cuomo also has a big rap sheet when it comes to sexual assault.
00:30:28.000 And Sleewa keeps, I mean, in the first debate, at least, Sleewa spent most of his time attacking Andrew Cuomo.
00:30:34.000 And, you know, I kind of kept going like, well, you guys both need to take Mom Donnie down if you're going to get any progress here.
00:30:40.000 But I totally agree.
00:30:41.000 Cuomo has not given enough of a sales pitch to conservatives.
00:30:45.000 He's given them nothing.
00:30:48.000 I sort of understand the conundrum.
00:30:50.000 There's folks online like Mike Cernovich who completely agree with you and are basically saying, I'm never voting for that Democrat.
00:30:57.000 He's never done anything for me.
00:30:58.000 He's never done anything for conservatives.
00:31:00.000 I think the best argument for Cuomo's position is that he's not Mom Donnie.
00:31:06.000 That is literally the best sales point.
00:31:08.000 And Mom Donnie is going to be, I mean, he's going to destroy that city in many ways.
00:31:13.000 And the question is then going to become, can the city ever recover?
00:31:17.000 And yes, it can.
00:31:18.000 And I'll tell you how.
00:31:19.000 Okay.
00:31:19.000 If we somehow manage to pull a city rally win in New Jersey, hopefully that momentum can go into next year and we can get a Republican governor.
00:31:27.000 A Republican governor can remove the New York City mayor.
00:31:30.000 It takes some wiggle-waggling and some legal, but it can be done.
00:31:34.000 I mean, good luck in a state that's controlled.
00:31:37.000 I mean, yeah, you might have the governor's mansion, but you're not necessarily going to have anything else besides that.
00:31:42.000 And so it's always going to be tricky.
00:31:44.000 I mean, if you don't have the legislature and you don't have the judges, and I mean, you don't have the city council.
00:31:48.000 They don't need a legislature.
00:31:49.000 They can do it themselves.
00:31:51.000 They just need to go through a legal process.
00:31:52.000 All right.
00:31:53.000 Well, I mean, that's interesting.
00:31:55.000 You know more about that than I do.
00:31:56.000 It sounds like you're a proud New Yorker or maybe you're in Jersey.
00:32:00.000 I don't know.
00:32:01.000 Where are you based, Adam?
00:32:02.000 I would say I'm a New Yorker, but not proud.
00:32:04.000 And I would also, he murdered my dad in his nursing home.
00:32:07.000 We were denied funerals.
00:32:08.000 We were denied goodbyes.
00:32:10.000 I didn't tell you.
00:32:11.000 Thank you.
00:32:13.000 They did the same exact thing in Pennsylvania.
00:32:15.000 Remember that Rachel Levine, Admiral Health official in the federal city.
00:32:22.000 You know, they did the same thing in Pennsylvania.
00:32:24.000 Yeah, Dick Levine took his mother out of the nursing home and put her in a hotel the day before they put positive, COVID-positive patients in nursing homes there.
00:32:33.000 And their death toll was something like 9,000.
00:32:35.000 This went across four states of mass murder.
00:32:37.000 The DOJ really need to do something about this.
00:32:41.000 I love that you're getting into this and you're reminding us of it, Elizabeth, because there are so many things that happened during COVID that are wrong morally on so many levels, and they probably are wrong legally.
00:32:54.000 And so listen, I would love for Sleewa to win.
00:32:56.000 I don't think he's necessarily a very compelling candidate when it comes to speaking and just galvanizing people.
00:33:02.000 He's polling really low.
00:33:03.000 I wish Donald Trump can send Andrew Giuliani there to help him.
00:33:07.000 Well, good.
00:33:07.000 No, and I wish for the best for Sleewa.
00:33:09.000 He's certainly the best choice of the three.
00:33:11.000 Godspeed to our friends in New York.
00:33:14.000 But something's got to give, or you got Mom Donnie.
00:33:18.000 That's the choice.
00:33:19.000 That's the truth.
00:33:20.000 Thank you so much.
00:33:21.000 We've got to go to David.
00:33:23.000 David, next.
00:33:25.000 Thank you very much for doing what you're doing.
00:33:28.000 Sorry for your loss.
00:33:30.000 Thank you.
00:33:33.000 We're in Southern California.
00:33:35.000 And we, you know, piggybacking off what the other lady was saying, our legislature does not listen to the people.
00:33:45.000 And we're trying to figure out how to remove our legislature and educate our masses in California.
00:33:55.000 Well, you got that Prop 50 going on in California, too.
00:33:59.000 Yes.
00:34:00.000 Which, you know, they're trying to redraw the lines to basically fight Texas and maybe Indiana, although Indiana is a whole other story.
00:34:12.000 And they're doing it.
00:34:12.000 It has nothing to do with Texas.
00:34:16.000 But yeah, that's their justification that they're doing it because we're tyrants and we're trying to redistrict midstream in between census.
00:34:16.000 Of course.
00:34:25.000 But by the way, the census was completely botched, which is a whole other, I mean, it's a completely rigged census during COVID.
00:34:32.000 It is illegitimate and should be redrawn.
00:34:34.000 We would get like 10 to 12, maybe even more congressional seats.
00:34:38.000 I was just reviewing the numbers.
00:34:40.000 I want to make this super, super clear for everyone.
00:34:42.000 I was just reviewing the numbers this morning.
00:34:44.000 The latest projections are that the Democrats are going to probably lose upwards of 15, 16 seats in Congress if they redid the census in the next census.
00:34:57.000 So redoing the census earlier means that they're going to lose at least almost a majority of those.
00:35:03.000 So, because what Andrew just said is exactly right.
00:35:07.000 The census in 2020 was so manipulated, so botched, so intentionally drug.
00:35:14.000 Nobody was paying attention.
00:35:15.000 Everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off because of COVID, worried about their family.
00:35:19.000 Like this poor lady that just got off the phone with us, that she was losing her family members that they couldn't even let her see.
00:35:26.000 She couldn't say goodbye.
00:35:27.000 Nobody was paying attention to these leftist operators who were trying to manipulate the congressional apportionment.
00:35:37.000 This is really bad for Democrats.
00:35:39.000 And so they have to almost do this right now in California to try to get ahead of how bad it's going to be ahead of 2030.
00:35:47.000 It just seems like our legislature and most legislatures, we don't know who the authors are.
00:35:55.000 We don't know who their names are.
00:35:57.000 And they seem to hide behind their bad bills.
00:36:01.000 So I'm trying to find out.
00:36:02.000 So I'm trying to put together this person who wrote this bad bill so we can educate the people who these idiots are.
00:36:14.000 Oh, I'm sorry.
00:36:15.000 I called them idiots.
00:36:17.000 I mean, I think that's a fine word to use.
00:36:18.000 They are idiots.
00:36:19.000 But, you know, one of the publications I follow is California Globe.
00:36:24.000 And then there are other good grassroots resources, and they tend to be issue by issue in California.
00:36:30.000 So if it's the gender stuff, there's going to be activists that are working on that.
00:36:35.000 Jack Hibbs is another good resource for you.
00:36:39.000 And he puts out voter guides.
00:36:43.000 But by the way, when you're talking about just authorship of bills, they do have to include an author on the bill still, even at the state level.
00:36:49.000 So I know that because we were tracking down some of that with the recent bill that was making its way through the California Assembly, and that was the bill where they basically you could assign somebody to come pick up your kid if your parents got detained by ICE.
00:37:05.000 But it essentially left the door open for people to get there, have their kids kidnapped.
00:37:09.000 I mean, it was basically unenforceable the way it was.
00:37:12.000 Jack Hibbs got really on that.
00:37:14.000 Yeah, and that exactly.
00:37:15.000 And so that was a bill that had an author.
00:37:17.000 We did a whole segment on who that author was.
00:37:19.000 And she was a far-left radical.
00:37:21.000 But just in terms of responsiveness, I mean, it is a tough road of hope for you guys in California because you are, this is just, it's a self-selecting process in a lot of ways.
00:37:31.000 So, you know, what happens is, and you see this in different professions like teaching, you see it in journalism, you see it in politics, especially left-wing, far-left radical politics, where they self-select themselves into these activist professions.
00:37:47.000 Whereas conservatives tend to build their business, build their family, build their church, build their community.
00:37:52.000 Radical leftists like to get into the teaching profession.
00:37:56.000 They like to get into the journalist profession.
00:38:00.000 They like to get into the political profession because that is their God.
00:38:04.000 That is their church.
00:38:05.000 That is their reason for being.
00:38:08.000 And so you have, especially in places like the Bay Area, these are radical, radical activists that get into politics by getting in at the lowest levels.
00:38:16.000 They rise through the ranks, and the most radical ones win.
00:38:19.000 And then they put a sheen of legitimacy on them and moderation before they announce.
00:38:24.000 They scrub their socials and then they come out and you're like, oh, well, this person is really buttoned up and it's good.
00:38:30.000 They do not care what a conservative in Southern California thinks about them if they are a radical leftist from the Bay Area.
00:38:37.000 They just simply don't.
00:38:38.000 And so it's just getting more and more and more radical in places like California.
00:38:42.000 But the grassroots is rising up.
00:38:44.000 There is hope.
00:38:47.000 We truly are living in a historic time.
00:38:50.000 After 738 days, the 20 living Israeli hostages have been released from captivity.
00:38:56.000 And those who were killed will finally rest in peace near their loved ones.
00:38:59.000 Praise God.
00:39:00.000 In this time of celebration, our good friends at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews send their deepest gratitude for your prayers and unwavering support.
00:39:09.000 Thanks to you, the fellowship has provided $300 million in emergency aid since October 7th, including millions in direct support for the hostages and their families.
00:39:19.000 Of course, the road ahead is still a long one.
00:39:22.000 Much needs to be done to restore and revive these victims of terrorism.
00:39:25.000 But that's exactly what the fellowship does.
00:39:28.000 For example, they're assisting returned hostages, along with their families and friends, with immediate medical, psychological, and financial support.
00:39:36.000 They're also providing mental health care for Israelis of all ages.
00:39:39.000 To find out how you can help, visit ifcj.org.
00:39:43.000 That's ifcj.org.
00:39:48.000 We've got Bob.
00:39:50.000 Remember, if you want to be a part of these, go to members.charlikirk.com.
00:39:53.000 You guys mean the world to us.
00:39:55.000 You help keep the lights on, help us keep our staff employed and all those good things.
00:39:58.000 Members.charlikirk.com.
00:40:00.000 Bob, what's your question?
00:40:01.000 Hey, guys.
00:40:02.000 Thanks for all your work.
00:40:03.000 Thank you.
00:40:04.000 The U.S. naturalization oath, which prospective citizens are legally required to swear by, also requires an applicant, among other points, to agree.
00:40:14.000 I hereby declare on oath that I absolutely entirely renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, all of which have heretofore been subject to.
00:40:25.000 So I have two questions here.
00:40:27.000 If you could relate it to this, guys, could you comment on these?
00:40:30.000 Number one, is it accurate to say that an honest Muslim applicant could not take this oath and therefore could not become a citizen?
00:40:37.000 That's my first question.
00:40:38.000 And the follow-up, does this renunciation of fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty apply to Catholic allegiance to the Pope or the Catholic Church?
00:40:48.000 No, I would say, let me answer your second one first.
00:40:51.000 So the Bible is very clear.
00:40:52.000 It says, render unto Caesar what is Caesar's.
00:40:55.000 And so baked into the Catholic faith is an understanding that we have earthly powers and principalities, earthly powers.
00:41:02.000 Let's not get into principalities.
00:41:03.000 So we have earthly powers that are set up that God has established the rulers of this world.
00:41:10.000 And so there is not a moral issue or a conflict with honoring your national sovereign as well as your heavenly sovereign, which is Jesus and God the Father.
00:41:24.000 That being said, we have examples in the New Testament, especially the book of Acts, where the apostles are asked to do things that are contrary to their faith, and those can cause conflicts.
00:41:33.000 That's why it's important for Christians to be involved in the public spaces and in your government, your local school boards, all those things, because if good, godly men and women are leading your culture and your society and your government, then you are going to avoid those conflicts.
00:41:49.000 You're going to avoid issues like religious freedom conflicts that come up and that end up getting litigated in the courts when bad decisions are made by bad leaders.
00:41:58.000 And so, no, if Christians, we should flood the public square.
00:42:02.000 We should get in positions of power and influence so that those conflicts do not arise.
00:42:08.000 And there are instances in the New Testament, like I said in the book of Acts, that mean we have to then defy the authorities.
00:42:17.000 And sometimes you will be thrown in prison.
00:42:18.000 This is why the scripture said, visit your brothers who are in prison, right?
00:42:22.000 So, yeah, there is no issue on number two.
00:42:24.000 Now, if you're asking about an honest Muslim, I would say, yeah, guess what?
00:42:28.000 You know what's an interesting thing is the Muslims have to pray five times a day to the east, to Mecca.
00:42:34.000 And they are basically saying that their allegiance is to Mecca, and they are a conquering force.
00:42:41.000 It is a conquering religion.
00:42:43.000 It is a political religion.
00:42:45.000 And so I would say an honest Muslim is going to have a very difficult time claiming allegiance to a country that is not predominantly Muslim, which is why I always say there are 50 Muslim majority plus, there's more than 50, Muslim-majority countries in the world.
00:42:59.000 If you want to move and you're a Muslim, you want to immigrate somewhere, don't do it to the West because you are basically picking a fight with the West every time you do that.
00:43:08.000 Now, I can understand if there's a small minority that are doing it for some sort of job or whatever.
00:43:14.000 But this mass invasion into the West, you get this Dearborns, these epic cities, you get to see London.
00:43:19.000 I believe that you cannot do both.
00:43:21.000 I'm going to get to one more question here.
00:43:22.000 Thank you so much, Bob.
00:43:25.000 Can it be codified?
00:43:26.000 Well, that's going to take a lot more political courage than we currently have, Bob.
00:43:29.000 But at the state level, they're getting rid of the, you know, Tuberville's got this anti-Sharia law bill and many, many other things.
00:43:35.000 So, yeah, it's going to be tough, Bob.
00:43:38.000 I'm not going to lie.
00:43:38.000 It takes too much political courage.
00:43:40.000 We don't have it right now, but I'm with you 1,000%.
00:43:43.000 I think we can deal with the immigration part of it before we can deal with the codification of a naturalization situation.
00:43:49.000 I agree with you what you're saying about Christians being involved.
00:43:53.000 Is there a difference there with Catholics and the Pope?
00:43:56.000 Yes, there is.
00:43:57.000 Yes, yes, there is.
00:43:59.000 I tried to explain that.
00:44:01.000 I want to get to Natalie, Bob.
00:44:02.000 I'm so sorry, but you go ahead.
00:44:05.000 Natalie, what's your question?
00:44:06.000 Thank you, Bob.
00:44:07.000 Natalie, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:44:09.000 Hey, guys.
00:44:10.000 Thank you so much.
00:44:11.000 So I'm a mom of four boys, and they're between the ages of seven and 15.
00:44:16.000 And I used to own a gym, and we were business owners, and then that got shut down during COVID.
00:44:21.000 And so I became a stay-at-home mom.
00:44:24.000 So I've been a stay-at-home mom for several years now.
00:44:26.000 So, I just wanted to know what advice you have for moms kind of in this stage of life where their kids are getting a little older.
00:44:33.000 Obviously, I have a drive to do more outside of the home.
00:44:39.000 So, I'm super involved in the kids' school.
00:44:41.000 I run the PTSO.
00:44:42.000 We have a nonprofit for youth tackle, but I would love to just hear what you guys have for moms in this stage of life.
00:44:49.000 This feels like a Tyler question.
00:44:51.000 Natalie, I mean, it's a great question.
00:44:52.000 There's a couple of things that you can do right away.
00:44:54.000 Number one is have an eye focused on how you want to contribute yourself personally to civic engagement.
00:45:03.000 Meaning, are you willing to run for office?
00:45:06.000 Are you willing to get involved with the local party?
00:45:09.000 The Republican Party in most places is in desperate need of normal, sane people who work really hard and care about their kids.
00:45:18.000 And so, getting involved there, becoming a precinct leader, a precinct captain, if you're not already, we always encourage that.
00:45:25.000 It's a little bit of a catch-22 situation because we want people to get involved, but we also don't want people to get overly absorbed and kind of upset because the party can sometimes be a disaster where you're at.
00:45:43.000 That's why I say run for potentially run for office.
00:45:45.000 But at turning point action, we will get you involved with our coalitions.
00:45:50.000 I don't know what you're saying.
00:45:51.000 What state are you in?
00:45:52.000 I'm in Arizona.
00:45:53.000 Oh, you're here in Arizona?
00:45:54.000 Perfect.
00:45:55.000 Here in Arizona at coalitions.com, if you sign up, you can be part of our mom's coalition and help organize.
00:46:03.000 And that's a really nice thing because it's flexibility.
00:46:05.000 You don't have to dedicate dozens of hours every month to be part of that.
00:46:11.000 You can dedicate a few hours here and there to be involved locally.
00:46:16.000 But that across the state will help kind of develop that network that helps you organize ahead of the next election.
00:46:23.000 Yeah, you know, what's crazy too is, Natalie, that when I have done like local GOP stuff, you will be shocked at just how dysfunctional a lot of it is.
00:46:33.000 And I remember calling Tyler after a certain meeting, I was like, Whoa, this happened, this happened, they were all fighting.
00:46:38.000 And he was like, Oh, yeah, that's every single one.
00:46:41.000 So, normal, sane people, if you're going to step in on a local GOP level, it's so important.
00:46:47.000 What I just said is not an excuse not to do it.
00:46:49.000 It's a reason to do it.
00:46:50.000 So, if you're normal and you're sane and you have people skills, they need you.
00:46:55.000 They need you.
00:46:56.000 And especially if you're listening to shows like this and you're listening to guys like Tyler about turning point action, how to connect those local GOP levels to a larger network to get people all swimming in the same direction.
00:47:06.000 And we can get you resources.
00:47:07.000 We can get you the app.
00:47:07.000 We can train you up on this stuff.
00:47:09.000 Then it starts becoming really powerful.
00:47:11.000 And so, and to your to Tyler's other point where he's saying, Are you willing to run for office?
00:47:17.000 Are you willing to run for school board?
00:47:20.000 These kind of things.
00:47:21.000 Your kids will look at you as the example and they will see the life that you're living and the example you're leading and showing them, and they will follow.
00:47:30.000 Faith and political activism is caught, not taught.
00:47:34.000 So, let me say that again: faith in Jesus, faith in your God, the way you love your husband, whatever it is, or your political activism is caught, not taught.
00:47:44.000 So, you could tell them to do all the right things, and they'll just, it'll go in one ear and out the other.
00:47:48.000 But if you show them and you model that for them, then your sons will emulate your behavior.
00:47:54.000 They will emulate the model that you present for them.
00:47:57.000 So, I would just encourage you to just do it.
00:47:59.000 Don't let perfect be the reason you don't start with the good, right?
00:48:04.000 Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good.
00:48:06.000 So, so just start, start somewhere, just get going now.
00:48:09.000 Well, and I have a question for you, Natalie.
00:48:11.000 What interests you the most in politics?
00:48:14.000 Oh, gosh.
00:48:15.000 I'm probably one of the least political people you'll meet.
00:48:20.000 So, I am like a baby when it comes to politics, which I think is kind of like on the flip side, a beautiful thing, right?
00:48:27.000 Because I don't know the ins and outs, and I just am a good human, a Christian woman.
00:48:33.000 So, yeah, I don't know how really to answer that question.
00:48:36.000 Yeah, I mean, a lot of people feel that way, right?
00:48:38.000 And that's actually most of the people that we engage are people who don't feel like they're overly political, but listen and they follow and they love and care about their kids, and they love and care about their community and seeing the things that happen around them, particularly at school and in schools.
00:48:55.000 Because, again, I don't know where you're, if you mentioned this, where your kids are in school right now.
00:48:59.000 Are they in public charter?
00:49:01.000 Yeah, they're in public school.
00:49:02.000 Okay, public.
00:49:03.000 Yeah, they're public, which we actually love because we, you know, there's arguments to all of it, but we feel that we have such a strong home that we can take that out into the public schools and be good examples.
00:49:14.000 Well, if God's calling you that, God bless you.
00:49:16.000 Well, and again, it's different for everybody.
00:49:18.000 So there's sometimes there's not options, and sometimes there's you're going to have a great public school experience because the community, and this goes back to what you were saying, which is that the party, your community is whoever shows up.
00:49:33.000 So, like, it's like a real party.
00:49:35.000 Sometimes you can have a weird, funky party with bad music and bad food because good people show up with great music and great food.
00:49:44.000 And so, you know, that's the same with your community aspects.
00:49:48.000 So, whether it's public school or charter schools, because they're, you know, pseudo-public in Arizona, and then with the actual party, so the Republican Party, being involved and showing up is so important.
00:49:59.000 So, I really, I'm my oldest in public school.
00:50:03.000 And, you know, we've been horrified, even at a fairly conservative public school, some of the things that have happened at that public school, including hanging pride flags in classrooms and, you know, some of the things that teachers have said or telling kids to flip their freedom shirts inside out or whatever it might be.
00:50:22.000 So, being involved at that level is really a way to start being really super political.
00:50:28.000 I can tell you this: we need better school board members at every public school board.
00:50:33.000 And so, getting involved and spending just a few hours every month attending their meetings and giving some support to the conservative members on that school board and then considering running at some point may be a calling for you.
00:50:46.000 That I think is really important.
00:50:48.000 And that's for everyone across the country: is that we need better parents stepping up to run for school board.
00:50:54.000 Well, and by the way, you have a 13-year-old, so we're not in middle schools yet, but your 13-year-old is probably going to be in high school next year.
00:51:00.000 Is that right?
00:51:00.000 Freshman in high school?
00:51:01.000 Yeah, so actually, I do.
00:51:02.000 I have one in high school, he's a freshman.
00:51:04.000 Oh, perfect.
00:51:04.000 Well, so make sure there's a turning point chapter there.
00:51:07.000 And if there isn't, then help your son start it.
00:51:11.000 Be great.
00:51:11.000 Okay.
00:51:12.000 Yeah, that would be another good thing.
00:51:13.000 And you'll get connected to our whole national network on the TPUSA side.
00:51:17.000 So I know, but here's my last thing I'll leave you, and we'll wrap up the show with this.
00:51:23.000 Do not let decision paralysis, analysis paralysis of what's the best thing to do set in and keep you from doing anything.
00:51:30.000 Just step forward.
00:51:31.000 Try the first thing.
00:51:32.000 You cannot turn a parked car.
00:51:34.000 You can only turn a moving car.
00:51:35.000 So get moving, pick a route.
00:51:38.000 It may or may not be great.
00:51:39.000 If it's not, pick the next thing, try the next thing.
00:51:41.000 Eventually, you're going to find the thing that works and suits you.
00:51:45.000 And you're going to find a lot of purpose in that.
00:51:46.000 And your sons are going to watch a great example and have a great role model for how to make their communities a better place.
00:51:53.000 Awesome.
00:51:54.000 Thank you guys so much.
00:51:55.000 Thanks, Natalie.
00:51:56.000 All right.
00:51:56.000 God bless you.
