00:00:01.000Now, more than ever, we need good cheer and to be happy warriors.
00:00:04.000On this program, we're trying to embody that every day, and that's what this episode is all about.
00:00:08.000If you would like to support this program, if this program has impacted your life in any way at all, and if you believe that this program needs to stay up with all the backlash, and some people would call it persecution to come, go to charliekirk.com/slash support.
00:00:23.000We're embracing the struggle here with a smile and a good attitude.
00:00:49.000His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:57.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:48.000Squadpod never monitors or censors any of your conversations.
00:01:52.000They don't create customer profiles or mine or sell your data at squadpod.com forward slash Charlie.
00:02:00.000So we decided to give Joe Biden a little bit of a chance to settle in, see what he's going to do.
00:02:05.000And it seems that he's not wasting any time.
00:02:08.000He's going to sign executive orders from getting us back into the Paris Climate Accord to getting us a mask mandate to an eviction freeze, just all sorts of different liberal agenda items instantaneously.
00:02:22.000He's also expected to unveil his immigration plan to Congress today, which would provide a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million people estimated living here in the United States.
00:02:32.000I expect that we will probably hear other congressional plans within the next few days as well.
00:02:37.000So at the current moment, a lot of people are feeling despair and really despondent.
00:02:58.000However, you're going to have to now take a conscious step to put yourself in a position of action: what are you going to do personally to make sure that in four years you don't have Kamala Harris getting sworn in for maybe one term or another term after that?
00:03:22.000So if you live in the state of Arizona and Georgia, priority number one of the state legislatures have to be fixing the way that we do elections.
00:03:31.000Secondly, the moment that we are currently in in our country, the Democrats are going to screw this up spectacularly.
00:03:39.000Not that I want them to, but just the executive actions that Joe Biden is signing are in no way, shape, or form going to help the country.
00:03:47.000From stopping border wall construction, where's the full list?
00:03:51.000We had the full list here just for today.
00:03:54.000The new immigration plan, it goes on and on and on.
00:03:58.000Oh, yeah, the Paris Climate Accord, Iran.
00:04:00.000Iran sent out a tweet saying, The ball is in your court, Joe Biden, to come back to the table and fix this.
00:04:07.000So now the number one state sponsor of terror in the world, Iran, demands a seat at the table with Joe Biden, where President Trump had handled Iran wonderfully, putting Iran on defense, heavy and crippling sanctions alongside the cancellation of the Iran deal and standing with Israel, moving the embassy to Jerusalem, and recognizing the goal line heights.
00:04:34.000President Trump also gave a phenomenal farewell address yesterday.
00:06:23.000Instead of taking victory laps, they are plotting revenge against the people they just beat.
00:06:28.000They're thinking of new ways to injure and humiliate and degrade their political opponents, make it impossible for them to work again, throw them in jail, destroy their lives.
00:06:53.000Number one, they're upset because that was the only thing that kind of bound them all together: this pathological hatred of maybe getting to this moment.
00:07:03.000And the second thing is this, which is they know the threat of the conservative movement.
00:07:08.000And they know that the power they have right now is temporary.
00:07:12.000And they know that the conservative movement and the policies that we believe in, the ideas and the philosophy, it's actually really popular.
00:07:18.000And they're thinking to themselves, you mean I might not be in power forever?
00:07:34.000And that's exactly why they're calling for mass censorship of successful conservatives online, why they're asking for conservative media outlets to be taken off of cable providers to make sure that you can never, ever hear the news from a conservative perspective.
00:07:47.000They're advocating for outspoken conservatives to be charged with conspiracy, somehow tying them to what happened on January 6th, even if they weren't in Washington, D.C., because they're terrified of that moment when the idea of conservative values and this idea of a Make America Great Again movement, which is so much bigger than one individual, takes root again in our society.
00:08:06.000And so, one of the people emailing us says, Well, Charlie, what's to worry about with domestic terrorism?
00:08:12.000If you're not a domestic terrorist, you shouldn't have to worry about it.
00:08:44.000Well, one of the ones they're proposing is one that could infiltrate conservative groups, one that could spy on conservative groups, and would be just obliterate, like obliterate the Fourth Amendment as we know it in our country.
00:08:55.000President Donald Trump, when he was sworn into office in 2017, the Dow industrial average was 19,827.
00:09:05.000But the most amazing part of that number is that he rebuilt it twice.
00:09:10.000The Dow went up from 19 to 30, back down to 19, and then you've got it back to 31 twice in four years.
00:09:16.000No one else has that sort of success story.
00:09:18.000Never, never in American history have we seen that sort of leadership from an economic perspective in our country.
00:09:23.000And not to mention, made all the more amazing by the epidemiological Pearl Harbor that China launched on our country.
00:09:31.000And so who's the most powerful Republican now in the country?
00:09:36.000The most powerful Republican is Mitch McConnell.
00:09:39.000He has a power-sharing agreement with Chuck Schumer.
00:09:41.000Some of the committees are going to be split right down the middle.
00:09:44.000It's really up to Mitch McConnell as to what kind of Republican Party are you going to present to Joe Biden?
00:09:51.000Are you going to present to a Republican Party that all of a sudden says, hey, I'd love to get that amnesty thing done.
00:09:56.000I'd like to get that corporatist agenda done.
00:09:58.000And don't worry, I'll work with you to go after the grassroots conservatives.
00:10:03.000Or is Mitch McConnell going to take a step back?
00:10:06.000He's going to say, huh, Pat Toomey, Tom Tillis, Joni Ernst, they're only senators because of the MAGA movement.
00:10:12.000Rick Scott, Josh Hawley, you only have 50 seats and not 44 seats, Mitch McConnell, because of Donald Trump, his movement, and the conservative base.
00:10:24.000So that's going to be a really interesting question for Mitch McConnell as we begin to unpack this: will Mitch McConnell recognize and realize that the conservatives are showing up in 2022?
00:10:47.000The midterms can change the entire nexus of power in Washington.
00:10:51.000A seven-seat majority in the House, a lot of these maps being redrawn, massively unpopular policies that are going to be put forward by the Biden administration, and Senate seats that are going to be up for grabs in Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada, and Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
00:11:13.000He is signing some executive actions and proclamations.
00:11:18.000This is a tradition started in 1981 by President Ronald Reagan.
00:11:25.000The first official actions taken by the newly sworn president of the United States occur in the president's room just off the Senate chamber in the U.S. Capitol.
00:11:32.000After the departure of the former president and first lady, the new president gathers there with some aides, members of Congress to sign nominations, and sometimes memorandums, proclamations, or executive orders.
00:11:43.000This tradition began in 1981 with President Ronald Reagan.
00:11:46.000Prior to that time, nominations were often submitted to the Senate on inauguration day without ceremony.
00:11:51.000Interesting to see that historical context there.
00:11:54.000And I think it's pretty safe to assume that these executive orders we've been talking about this morning are likely going to be included in that signing ceremony.
00:12:03.000And really, a heavy emphasis on immigration, heavy emphasis on foreign policy, treaties, and trade negotiations.
00:12:11.000There's a couple of things, though, that we're not sure what President Biden will do in regards to the ratification, the moving of the embassy to Jerusalem, the recognizing of the Golan Heights, all those things.
00:12:25.000We're not sure what he'll go, but whatever Iran wants is probably what Joe Biden is going to end up doing.
00:12:36.000This was what was happening while Donald Trump was being sworn into office.
00:12:42.000In fact, before I go to John Solomon, let's just go to a little bit of a tape here of President Biden already signing executive orders, dividing the country, keeping borders wide open.
00:13:25.000They had launched a scheme through Christopher Steele and the British spy crossfire hurricane of Cut 54, 55, 56 shows that John Solomon is going through the entire list of it.
00:13:40.000The most important of all the documents is what I call the September 2017 confessional.
00:13:45.000A year after he was fired, terminated by the FBI, Christopher Steele sat back down by the agents and he described his motives, his tactics, what he did.
00:13:54.000And there are some bombshell revelations.
00:13:56.000First off, as you just reported, his motive for going to the news media and creating the false Russia collusion narrative during the 2016 election was because the email scandal had come and reared its head against Hillary Clinton.
00:14:09.000He was concerned it was going to hurt Hillary Clinton's chances.
00:14:12.000So he put the Russia story out there to help kind of distract from her from her scandal.
00:14:58.000Third, he divulges where he got his sub-source, the famous sub-source, the primary sub-source, as the FBI called them.
00:15:04.000This is the person that gave him most of the bad garbage that was ultimately discredited by the FBI, proven, disproven.
00:15:12.000He got that relationship with that sub-source from none other than Fiona Hill, the former national security counsel for Donald Trump, who became an impeachment witness against Trump in 2019.
00:15:23.000Well, beyond the interesting connections, by the time Fiona Hill turned over this sub-source to Christopher Steele, the FBI was already investigating the sub-source as a possible Russian asset.
00:15:35.000In fact, they were trying to get a FISA warrant on him when he fled the country and they dropped the effort.
00:15:40.000The first time around, President Trump, I was already under allegations falsely from all of that about being a Russian spy from the moment he was sworn in.
00:15:48.000In fact, I want to find that New York Times or Washington Post piece.
00:15:50.000Remember, they said they need to impeach him while he was getting inaugurated.
00:15:54.000Let's go to Andrew McCabe, who will probably never serve prison despite doing something allegedly so incredibly awful to our country, being involved in a coup to usurp a duly elected president.
00:16:10.000Remember, this is how they treated our president.
00:16:11.000Now, Andrew McCabe, this is what he thinks should happen to Trump supporters.
00:16:17.000When we looked at those Americans who traveled to Syria for the purpose of joining the Islamic State, when you put all those faces and names down in one place, you had doctors, lawyers.
00:16:29.000Some people are very vulnerable to and drawn into that core lie of any extremist movement.
00:16:36.000And that is exactly what we're seeing now with this particular group of Trump supporters.
00:16:55.000There were non-political, pro-chaos, anarcho-whatever you want to call them.
00:17:05.000There were Black Lives Matter agitators there.
00:17:08.000There were far left-wing agitators there.
00:17:11.000And yes, there were people that were Trump supporters that got mixed up into all the mess.
00:17:15.000It is absolutely accurate to say that.
00:17:17.000But just to say that were the only people that were there is inaccurate in every way, shape, or form of a description of it.
00:17:23.000But Andrew McCabe comparing American citizens to ISIS.
00:17:28.000Now, I'm old enough to remember when I was in my seventh or eighth grade civics class, my very liberal teacher standing up and talking about how awful the Patriot Act was because not all Muslims are terrorists.
00:17:48.000However, she said that that statement is now allowing the expansion of the security state and that we are not allowing civil rights or liberties to be protected.
00:17:59.000Why all of a sudden are now the Democrats who used to be the fighters for individual rights and for civil liberties, where are they?
00:18:07.000Where is the ACLU, the American Civil Liberties Union, fighting against this sort of language, this sort of top bucket comparison?
00:18:15.000And the answer is they're nowhere to be found because the ACLU, who sent out a vanilla statement even on President Trump getting banned from Twitter, they are financed primarily by very, very far left-wing actors that want nothing to do with conservatives having any form of voice whatsoever.
00:18:34.000Now, they are going to always keep some conservatives around, but the agreeable conservatives, you know, the conservatives that will write the thoughtful intelligentsia pieces about how we must keep our borders open and we must keep endless wars continuing.
00:18:51.000Those are the type of Democrats that the type of Republicans that Democrats are okay with.
00:18:56.000The grassroots, the base conservatives that we represent, no, Those, they want to be completely and totally excommunicated from the conservative movement.
00:19:21.000I mean, those lights that are just shooting out from the Lincoln Memorial along the reflecting pool, it's like almost extensions of Joe Biden's arms embracing America.
00:19:54.000Republicans in the Senate, and by Republicans in the Senate, we mean Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the leader of Republicans in the Senate, has sent word over to the White House.
00:20:03.000If you pardon Julian Assange, we are much more likely to convict you in an impeachment trial.
00:20:10.000Now, is it legal to hold that over a president's head?
00:20:30.000Some breaking news out of Maricopa County here in Phoenix, where we obviously broadcast this show most of the time.
00:20:38.000About an hour after the inauguration, Charlie, the Arizona-Maricopa County Board has agreed to release all evidence of alleged fraud during the 2020 presidential election.
00:20:49.000How convenient to have a forensic audit once the president gets sworn in.
00:20:55.000Now, some of you are saying, well, Charlie, can now Trump come back?
00:21:05.000And so the only means of removing a president are the 25th Amendment, impeachment.
00:21:10.000We're getting some emails from people that were reading these fake message boards that are filled with hopium that were saying Trump's going to serve four more years that are now saying the military is going to arrest Joe Biden in the middle of the night.
00:21:39.000So if you're betting on supernatural intervention, the parting of the Red Sea, the appearance of manna, the survival of going into a whale, then you and I are exactly on the same page.
00:21:50.000But that's not something where you should never act confidently that supernatural intervention is imminent, which is what a lot of people did.
00:21:57.000And a lot of people were misled the last couple months.
00:22:00.000And that's a deeper conversation that we're going to help unpack on future episodes of the show of just how there was a lot of nonsense that has been spread throughout the last couple of weeks and months.
00:22:11.000So no, the military is not going to come and arrest Joe Biden.
00:22:34.000At thinker.org, T-H-I-N-K-R.org, they summarize the key ideas from new and noteworthy nonfiction, giving you access to an entire library of great books in bite-sized form.
00:22:45.000Read or listen to hundreds of titles in a matter of minutes, from old classics like Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, to recent bestsellers like Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for Life.
00:22:54.000When I'm just driving to work or driving to the Charlie Kirk show every single morning, sometimes I pop open a thinker summary book, and it really opens my mind, expands my horizons, and I learn something new every day.
00:23:04.000If you want to challenge your preconceptions, expand your horizons, and become a better thinker, go to thinker.org.
00:24:14.000They were burning cars, looting, rioting.
00:24:18.000And I'm also going to read a piece from the Washington Post on January 20th, 2017.
00:24:24.000The campaign to impeach Trump has begun.
00:24:29.000That's why I want to give at least a momentary honeymoon, metaphorical honeymoon, to President Biden and see what he's going to do, even though he's already signed a bunch of nonsense.
00:24:40.000President Biden is exiting the Capitol, where he will sign more documents that assuredly will increase freedom and liberty and put America backwards, just based on his own public proclamations.
00:24:51.000So here's a question here that I wanted to get to.
00:24:55.000And we're going to be taking a lot of your questions here: freedom at charliekirk.com, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:25:00.000Let's start with this one for you, Isabel.
00:25:01.000What do you think Joe Biden will handle the socialist Democrats and moderate Democrats?
00:25:05.000And lastly, do you think that there will be a civil war in the Democrat Party?
00:25:08.000Civil war is a bit hyperbolic, but I do think we're seeing a great schism within the Democrat Party right now between moderate policies that are more classically liberal and this new wave of socialism that's so attractive to new members of the Democrat Party who are leading culturally like the squad, AOC being one of the loudest of those voices.
00:25:27.000I certainly think this administration is already steering more in the direction of this new wave of socialism and appeasing that crowd quite a bit.
00:25:35.000Whereas moderate Democrats and classical liberals don't really have a home within the Democrat Party anymore.
00:25:40.000So we will see what the next few days and weeks look like with the new agenda of this administration.
00:25:45.000But when it comes to mass immigration, extreme regulation of the Second Amendment, regulating free speech online and otherwise, as well as other platform initiatives from this administration, we're going down the road of socialism.
00:25:56.000Unfortunately, and before that, even kleptocratic corporate fascism.
00:26:00.000So here's a question from Kyra: Just curious how you handle the breaking news as someone who's dedicated your life to getting President Trump re-elected.
00:26:08.000How do you maintain your composure, for lack of a better word, and stay so positive when you're constantly learning all this crazy information?
00:26:25.000I mean, look, when you have a faith that you're made in the image of God and that God, you know, Genesis 50-20, what might be meant for evil will be used for good, and that trials and tribulation of persecution is guaranteed of you.
00:26:37.000Yeah, you just kind of have to have a joy to yourself.
00:26:42.000It's going to be a little less great politically and patriotically.
00:26:46.000And there's going to be a lot of, you know, let's just say points of struggle between this new administration and those of us that are believers and conservatives.
00:26:55.000But I don't consider any of that to be an excuse not to have great cheer.
00:26:58.000A lot of people are now going to kind of do the doom and gloom thing.
00:27:01.000And you're like, I'm not going to sugarcoat it.
00:27:03.000He just renamed the U.S. Ambassador to Israel to the U.S. Ambassador to the West Bank and Gaza.
00:27:09.000Not exactly someone that is within alignment of my worldview.
00:27:13.000He's signing executive orders on eviction freezes, mask mandates, open borders.
00:28:17.000I also came to terms to that a while ago when I realized the decreasing and diminishing odds of this happened throughout December and January.
00:28:26.000But also, look, here's the reality of it: the gift that we have been given, the gift of liberty, allows us to do what we wish with the circumstances in front of you.
00:28:36.000A lot of you did not wish, vote, support, advocate, knock on doors for what's happening right now.
00:28:41.000And sometimes you do that and you don't get the way you want it to.
00:28:43.000And sometimes there's shenanigans and cutting of corners and things that we've covered at great length that all of a sudden you feel as if things were not going to the way that was ethical and was operated with integrity.
00:28:54.000And so the question is: are you just going to give up?
00:29:02.000And I think that we've been given this gift of life.
00:29:05.000We've been given this gift of our country.
00:29:07.000And it is my opinion that we have a moral obligation to go forward in this moment with good cheer.
00:29:14.000And that is what will drive them nuttier than anything else.
00:29:16.000Oh, the left wants us to give up immediately.
00:29:19.000But they also want us to be angry and miserable because I remember what that was like when I was walking the streets of the inauguration and people were screaming at the sky.
00:29:27.000And I was like, wow, they're really, really angry.
00:29:29.000And some people delighted in all that.
00:29:31.000We're not going to give them that opportunity because, look, I'm actually an internal optimist that the balance of power will eventually shift back.
00:29:40.000On this less than desirable day, the Praetorian Guard is what it looks like in some ways.
00:29:49.000We've been half joking that this sort of resembles the Hunger Games books and movies in the last few days with no spectators, very militarized.
00:30:45.000That's how Democrats were reacting to the peaceful transfer of power back in 2017.
00:30:50.000In addition, it seems as if President Biden and Vice President Harris are going to be on their way to the White House soon to go sign a bunch of other stuff that will probably be terrible for our country.
00:31:01.000Washington Post, January 2020, 2017, at 10:19 Mountain Time, which is 20 minutes after Donald Trump took the oath of office.
00:31:11.000The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.
00:31:15.000The organizers behind the campaign, Free Speech for People and Roots Action, are hinging their case on Trump's insistence on maintaining his luxury hotel and golf courses and business.
00:31:49.000And I'm going to be honest with you guys.
00:31:51.000It bothered me when I watched cable television and people always just call them Donald Trump, Donald Trump, and they refuse to say President Trump.
00:32:04.000The impeachment drive comes as Democrats and liberal activists are mounting a broad opposition to Steinmey Trump's agenda among the group's organizers, of course, the ACLU.
00:32:12.000Where's the ACLU now saying, hey, why are there 25,000 people enacting checkpoints in Washington, D.C.?
00:32:19.000Where's the ECLU saying that our civil rights are being violated in Washington?
00:32:55.000Someone says, is it time for a third party?
00:32:57.000No, I do not believe it's time for a third party.
00:32:59.000The Democrats would love to see us start a third party at this moment, which will just do nothing more than divide the Republican Party and put us in a minority assuredly and indefinitely.
00:33:23.000Turning Point USA has really made a difference in my life.
00:33:25.000That is the exact playbook of the left is mocking you for your beliefs.
00:33:29.000The left is going to throw every name in the book at you guys, racist, white supremacist, now unfortunately, even radicalized domestic terrorist.
00:33:37.000But they do that in an intentional effort to get you to back down and stop telling the truth and stop sharing what your values are with your community.
00:33:44.000We believe that our values are rooted in truth and objective reality, and that's why we share them with people.
00:33:52.000So that's why the left is so intent on making sure that conservative ideas have absolutely no place, especially in high school and college campus settings.
00:34:03.000It's really as simple as having conversations with your friends around the lunch table during your guys' lunch break or asking questions of your teachers in class that share your values with the people around you.
00:34:12.000And make sure you go to TurningPointUSA, tpusa.com, and get involved with Turning Point USA.
00:35:15.000But for the last four years, all we have heard is this diatribe of Trump did this and Trump said this and Trump tweeted this every day all day.
00:36:00.000And actually, their ratings and their viewership are going to go down because people are just going to get sick of reading press releases that they could very well get from the White House website.
00:37:44.000And I just want to say, if you are a consumer of hopium these last couple months, you're actually not the problem.
00:37:51.000The problem is the people that spread it and the people that have really quite honestly made a career now of publishing things that are pathologically untrue, that are completely and totally untrue in every way, shape, or form.
00:38:26.000No, I could tell you, factually, Donald Trump's not in Texas.
00:38:28.000Mike Pence is not in Guantanamo and Obey.
00:38:30.000Yes, he, I mean, the amount of disinformation, and I don't use that word lightly because that's like a leftist word that was being sent and believed by people on the right is stunning.
00:38:41.000Just, first of all, God says pray for wisdom before you read something.
00:38:44.000So James 1.5, God will give it generously.
00:38:47.000And then also, if we're not talking about it on this multi-hour program, and if you email us about it, we'll look at it.
00:38:53.000There might be a reason we're not talking about it because it might not be true, okay?
00:38:57.000Because there's other channels and there's other people out there that are just saying things for clicks, no different than CNN stuff says stuff that are clicks that is just completely and totally the opposite of the truth.
00:39:10.000Okay, so we're going to, I feel more liberated to talk about hopium now that every single one of those predictions has been wrong.
00:40:35.000This is such a common theme right now in 2021.
00:40:37.000And it's heartbreaking to me that families are being torn apart over this stuff.
00:40:41.000A lot of members of my extended family and I disagree on everything politically, but we've made it a priority to remember that we love each other unconditionally first and foremost as family, and then politics can come into play after that.
00:40:53.000So maybe try to sit down and have conversations with family members if that's important to you and that relationship is really important to you.
00:40:59.000But don't buy into this narrative from the left that you have to hate each other and call each other the worst names in the book when you're related even just because of political disagreement.
00:42:02.000Okay, here's a really interesting question from Neil from the United Kingdom.
00:42:06.000And by the way, if I select your question and you show you're subscribed to the Charlie Kirk Show podcast, you get a signed copy of our book.
00:42:48.000They opened many of the events with a prayer this morning that everybody seemed to be participating in.
00:42:53.000And scriptural language was used throughout the speech.
00:42:56.000But even when you visit the Biden-Harris campaign website and you see the 49, yes, there are 49 different policy proposals that they've put forward.
00:43:05.000Many of them center around Christianity and faith.
00:43:07.000They have a Biden plan for Catholics in America and a Biden plan for evangelical Christians in America.
00:43:13.000As a Christian, I'm terrified to see what that plan might look like as it unfolds because it's not based in biblical reality whatsoever or in what we know in the scriptures.
00:43:22.000But they definitely are trying to put forward at least the image of being rooted in Christian teaching and the faith.
00:43:29.000Yeah, and so look, if you believe in the teachings of the Bible and what the Bible says about setting up civil government, where rights come from, your existence, you should not believe in or support the agenda of the Biden administration.
00:43:41.000Let's just start with one very simple issue.
00:43:43.000This administration is going to be one of the most pro-abortion administrations in American history.
00:43:50.000It says very clearly that life begins in the womb in the scriptures.
00:43:53.000I knew you before you were in the womb.
00:43:55.000It says that I believe that either Mary or the mother of John the Baptist, that he was jumping for joy in the womb, showing that it was a person that was jumping.
00:44:06.000And there are many other examples of that throughout scripture.
00:44:09.000And so anyone who is a Bible-believing Christian supporting the Biden administration, you should pray for the Biden administration.
00:44:16.000And I say this non-sarcastically, I actually said a prayer this morning.
00:44:19.000I pray that Joe Biden does not royally screw up this beautiful gift we've been given.
00:45:57.000A lot of people are asking us about whether or not we should start a third party.
00:46:01.000While we are seeing a really clear ideological divide in both political parties, I would say.
00:46:06.000We touched on that with the left a minute ago with socialism versus classical liberalism.
00:46:10.000I think we're also seeing that within the Republican Party between New Age conservatism, as I call it, and establishment Republicanism.
00:46:16.000The left is not going to officially fracture.
00:46:19.000Even if they're having these ideological debates and divides, even if you have people as dramatically different as Tulsi, Gabbard, and AOC running for the same party, they understand that a cohesive unit is the most important thing to remain in power in Washington, D.C. and around the country.
00:46:34.000I don't think we should abandon that playbook for the same reasons that you've said, Charlie, because that would ultimately just completely decimate a unified conservative voice in our country, at least at this point in our history in the United States of America.
00:46:47.000And if we want to have a fighting chance to beat the left at their own game, we have to be a united front.
00:46:51.000The Federalist has a very funny story out that says the following.
00:46:57.000Washington, D.C. press rings in Biden inauguration with excitement of four-year vacation.
00:47:04.000They worked very hard the last four years.
00:47:06.000I'm not one to compliment them, but they worked their tail off doing everything they possibly could to destroy Trump from every single way, shape, or form imaginable.
00:47:26.000I will be at Jack Kibbs Church, Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, tomorrow evening, starting at 7 p.m.
00:47:31.000And we'll be streaming it live on our YouTube channel as well, where I will go piece by piece of what exactly are we going to be confronted with as conservatives and Christians, what we can do about it, what does success look like, all those sorts of things.
00:48:36.000He says, does it give you any hope that Biden is a faithful man and that might help guide him make the right decisions?
00:48:42.000It's interesting to me because we've heard how religious he is, yet he supports abortion and all these anti-Christian ideas.
00:48:48.000So look, I do believe in the God of the Bible.
00:48:50.000I believe in the God that split the Red Sea, that raised Jesus from the dead, where you can hang out in the midst of a whale, calm the storming sea, heal the sick, cure the blind.
00:49:02.000And I do believe that the Holy Spirit could work miraculously through Joe Biden and maybe he'll reverse on all of it.
00:49:11.000And so, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be prayerful.
00:49:13.000That maybe in a moment of spirit-led intervention, the spirit will lead Joe Biden to actually stand up against these aggressive, terrible policies and forces all within the Democrat Party and within the United States government.
00:49:31.000It's also a good time to remind you that Biden was fairly anti-abortion for his 47-year career until he started losing primaries and he switched his position on the Hyde Amendment.
00:49:40.000That's true of many policy issues, too, not just abortion.
00:49:43.000We've sort of seen a wishy-washy set of ideals and values from now President Biden throughout his career in Washington based on whatever was politically expedient.
00:49:52.000But, you know, as Christians, we believe if God can turn Saul into Paul, a literal individual who committed genocide against Christians to one of the greatest voices for God on earth, anything's possible.
00:50:17.000The point is that not every single state had shenanigans and tomfoolery.
00:50:22.000And by the way, if you're going to say you're not going to vote ever again, then I encourage you to leave the country because we're going to need every person on deck on board trying to fix the system, trying to register voters, trying to be poll watchers, trying to encourage signature verification.
00:51:20.000Have an opportunity as an individual to effectuate change in this country.
00:51:24.000If we start today registering millions of new Republican Party voters, 2022 is going to look dramatically different from what we're saying here today.
00:51:59.000What advice can you give to this fight, fight the censorship on my campus and to fight against silencing of conservative ideas?
00:52:06.000Well, a lot of it hinges on what kind of school you go to when it comes to the power that you have to fight back.
00:52:11.000We always encourage individuals, if it comes down to it, sue your school.
00:52:15.000If they're fighting you on your First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and assembly, you have power in that realm to stand up for yourself and your club in particular.
00:52:25.000We've been very successful with other Turning Point USA chapters who've been denied fighting back on First Amendment violation grounds, and we've gotten many, many of those decisions reversed across the country.
00:52:34.000In the meantime, it's not necessarily out of the question to get your parents involved, especially at the high school level.
00:52:40.000There seems to be this taboo idea that getting your parents involved in the conversation is the worst thing you can do.
00:53:01.000So what you're doing then by saying you're never going to vote again, never getting to get involved again, you are basically saying all the hundreds of thousands of people that have sacrificed for our country, that it meant nothing.
00:53:15.000Do you think that they, when they stormed Normandy Beach, when 9,000 people were killed in the Omaha sector, 9,000 people, do you think that they were saying, hmm, I'm going to weigh my odds?
00:53:55.000Here's the way that we're coping with it.
00:53:58.000We are now being intentional about our positivity, about being joyful, about action, about impacting people, about persuasion.
00:54:06.000We're going to start back on a campus tour.
00:54:08.000We're going to start more Turning Point USA chapters.
00:54:09.000I'm speaking at Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills tomorrow night at one of the largest churches in the country, my good friend Jack Hibbs, for this exact reason.
00:54:17.000Because if we all of a sudden take a complacent, I want to feel sorry for myself posture, and I get that.
00:55:34.000And so, and if any of you lack wisdom, just James 1:5 in my favorite verses of the Bible: if any of you lack wisdom, you should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to you.
00:55:45.000And this is the one thing I don't is voting like that big of an inconvenience?
00:56:46.000I want to start a Turning Point USA club at my school, but I feel it will jeopardize my likelihood of getting accepted into college, which is a path I need to take.
00:56:53.000I hear a lot of that these days, Charlie.
00:56:55.000I've gotten that exact sentiment almost a hundred times, maybe this week in my DMs and in comments.
00:57:04.000And the world that we're living in is so animosity-based towards conservatives that it can be very, very frustrating to decide whether or not to step out into the public space.
00:57:14.000Chances are, though, if a school is going to reject you just because you're an outspoken conservative, you don't want to go there in the first place.
00:57:21.000Trust me, it will be a miserable experience.
00:57:23.000And the right thing will happen at the end of the day.
00:57:25.000Everything that's supposed to happen will come to be.
00:58:00.000Because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind.
00:58:04.000That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
00:58:07.000Such a person is double-minded and able in all they do.
00:58:10.000Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position, but the rich should take pride in their humiliation since they will pass away like a wildflower.
00:58:19.000For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant, it blossoms, falls, and the beauty is destroyed.
00:58:24.000In the same way, the rich will fade away and while they go about their business.
00:58:27.000Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
00:59:14.000My dear brothers and sisters, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the father of heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows.
01:00:02.000It didn't allow people like me to comment and say, this is not true.
01:00:08.000When it's in the under-earth, the inner earth core of the internet on some form of 8-chan message board seeing Donald Trump's actually, like, I just got this email.
01:01:00.000My question is, what type of people should I be looking to support?
01:01:04.000People who tell the truth, even when it's not politically expedient for them.
01:01:08.000Politicians, as a general rule of thumb in human history, have sort of blown with the wind to use some of the language from the scripture that we just read.
01:01:17.000They embrace attitudes, ideas, and opinions based on whether or not they think it can help them.
01:01:23.000Look for a public servant, someone who is willing to fight back against lies, against disinformation, against ideas that are going to help our society crumble, and look for someone who's willing to fight that with truth.
01:01:40.000You can't focus, and it ruins an otherwise fun time.
01:01:43.000That's why I'm excited about our new partner, Relief Band.
01:01:46.000Relief Band is the number one FDA-cleared anti-nausea wristband that has been clinically proven to quickly relieve and effectively prevent nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, anxiety, migraine hangover, morning sickness, chemotherapy, and so much more.
01:01:59.000This product is 100% drug-free, non-drowsy, and provides all natural relief with zero side effects.
01:02:05.000How it works is Relief Band stimulates a nerve in the wrist that travels to the part of the brain that controls the nausea.
01:02:10.000Relief Band is the only over-the-counter wearable device that has been used in hospitals and oncology clinics to treat nausea and vomiting.
01:02:16.000A lot of people I know have used Relief Band.
01:02:18.000It's something that I've heard great things about, quite honestly.
01:03:54.000I majored in journalism in my undergrad, and I've been a bit reserved to find a quality journalism job because our media has spread so many lies.
01:04:01.000My question to you: how does a Holy Spirit-filled journalist come into the truth industry in an era of untruth?
01:04:10.000And that's just such a good way to put it.
01:04:12.000Look, so my opinion is for you, I would go find a church that has a sizable, you know, just that they're sizable in nature and either help them with public relations or help them with their own internal newspaper or local community newspaper.
01:04:32.000A lot of churches have these, especially a church that is Bible-based and that teaches conservative principles.
01:04:38.000That's where I would go if I were you.
01:04:40.000So I would try to go find a church and just say, hey, I'm a Holy Spirit-filled former leftist journalist degree.
01:04:55.000Also, my mom believes that Trump will be inaugurated on March 4th because this is, quote, the new Declaration of Independence, and that George Bush will, okay, so I do not believe this.
01:05:04.000Okay, Trump is not getting inaugurated on March 4th.
01:06:55.000They literally have no understanding of what is reality and truth because they've believed so strongly in what authority figures in culture are telling them is the truth and what is right and just, not what is reality.
01:07:08.000So, yes, we know that they cannot see, and that's part of the problem.
01:07:11.000And part of what we do, for lack of a better term, as the CNN buzzword has been, as conservative influencers, we're trying to help people understand what truth actually is and what we believe in.
01:07:21.000The left believes so strongly with every fiber of their being that conservatives actually are these evil, radical people that all participated in the behavior of January 6th at the United States Capitol.
01:09:43.000And all the older folks watching, you have a moral obligation to Chloe to do everything you possibly can and to be of hope and of good cheer.
01:11:34.000There's a very clear distinction between classically liberal ideas and leftist ideas, and we've broken that down several times.
01:11:39.000I would encourage you guys to go back and watch old episodes to get a good breakdown on that.
01:11:44.000But despite the facade that the left is rooted in acceptance of all people, love Trump's hate and everyone's welcome here, they are truly rooted in hatred for other people.
01:11:53.000And that's very clearly delineated from this idea that they have to separate every group into their own identity.
01:11:58.000No longer are we just considered Americans, no matter who you are and what your identities are.
01:13:36.000And Allie Stuckey said it best at our SAS conference just a few weeks ago at this point.
01:13:41.000Dang, it feels like it's been a year since the end of December.
01:13:45.000She said, maybe we are living in this time because we were made for such a time as this.
01:13:49.000Maybe we were made to be fighters to stand up for what we believe in, to share the gospel and truth with people, even in the midst of extreme opposition like the world has never seen before.
01:13:58.000We embrace persecution because we know that this world is not our home.
01:14:02.000In this world, we are going to be hated and reviled by individuals who treat this world as their home because we weren't meant to be here forever.
01:14:27.000But I'm now making the conscious choice, thanks to my faith, my wonderful gratitude for this country, to say, I'm not going to allow my sadness to monopolize me.
01:14:38.000Basically, the essence is Biden might be a very good president, which I hope.
01:15:25.000And a lot of that had to do with the active attitude that we talked about earlier, Charlie.
01:15:29.000Between the time when Florida was really considered a purple state, almost 50-50 Democrat-Republican, the Republican Party went to work several years ago before the 2016 election, and then even more so afterwards, registering millions of Republican voters.
01:15:44.000They understood what it meant to knock door to door to door, to make phone calls, to connect with people, and most importantly, to get them to show up to vote.
01:16:04.000The parable of the talents is very simple.
01:16:06.000You have a master with three servants.
01:16:09.000Each servant gets a different distributed amount.
01:16:12.000Like, let's just say they call it a talent, like five talents, five talents, five talents.
01:16:16.000Every servant distributed those talents differently.
01:16:19.000One servant put their talents underneath a rock and did nothing with it.
01:16:23.000One of them multiplied it slightly and won generously.
01:16:25.000The master comes back and praises the person who did massive multiplication, says, eh, okay, the person that did modest, and condemns harshly the person that did nothing with what was given to them.
01:16:35.000What are you doing with the gifts that God has given to you?
01:16:37.000Are you just going to kind of roll over and say it's over?
01:16:39.000I'm going to retreat to the hills and I'm going to become a prepper, which is all fine, I guess.
01:16:43.000Like, I'm going to go buy walkie-talkies and gold and silver and rations, which again, fine, whatever.
01:16:48.000I guess that's, I'm not against that stuff.
01:16:50.000I think some of them support our show, and that's fine.
01:16:53.000But if that's going to dominate your life, that is a defensive, cowardly posture, right?
01:16:58.000Go forth into the world with good spirit, with good cheer, and really be the change that you want to see happen in the world.
01:17:17.000All I know is this: how do we avoid this in the future?
01:17:21.000I believe it set us back, caused many on the right to not get involved because they thought everything was taken care of by Trump and the military.
01:18:09.000I have, we have whole research teams, okay?
01:18:11.000I have a research platoon over there that does an unbelievable job.
01:18:15.000And they do nothing but research and vet and check and they make phone calls and they talk to senators and they talk to people and they do their job.
01:18:23.000And so it's not just me where I'm just kind of flying as a singular air traffic controller trying to call shots here.
01:18:29.000Like, no, we have a whole, we have a whole team here that goes through there.
01:19:20.000As a 30-something working professional, I am trying to find where I fit in when it comes to plugging into the fight ahead.
01:19:27.000I know Turning Point USA is for college-age students, and I'm hoping and praying that you expand to 30 and 40-year-olds out there and have significant impact.
01:19:34.000We're thinking about that through an alumni network.
01:19:36.000So you can go to tpusa.com/slash get involved.
01:19:40.000And Ella just emailed us, and she says that it's a good idea.
01:19:44.000She's planning on going to college for business, but not wants to get into politics, not getting a degree in political science because I want to fall victim to leftist education.
01:19:52.000Isabel, how was college for you being a conservative?
01:19:56.000I actually have a book coming out next month that tells a lot of the behind-the-scenes stories of what my college experience was like, but I was pre-med.
01:20:02.000I never anticipated leftist ideology dominating my classes, like organic chemistry and anatomy and physiology.
01:20:10.000And we were talking about the southern border wall and that there's more than two genders.
01:20:14.000Disregard the whole chromosome thing that we talked about in class.
01:20:18.000And I decided to do something about it.
01:20:19.000And I started a Turning Point USA chapter on my campus and got a lot of hate from the left because of that.
01:20:25.000Obviously, my life has changed pretty dramatically from the time that I wanted to go to medical school to what I do now.
01:20:31.000But college is not a friendly environment towards conservative ideas, and even more so than that objective truth.
01:20:36.000Honestly, they're a lot more focused on indoctrination of certain values than they are presenting you with the truth and having healthy discussion and debate associated with that.
01:20:45.000If you want to do something with your life and with a career that requires a college degree, go for it.
01:20:52.000I have two degrees: one in undergrad from biomedical sciences, and then the other one is a graduate school degree, a master's in biomedical sciences, policy, and advocacy.
01:21:02.000So I say that school is worth it if that's something that you believe in.
01:21:05.000But if you don't know what you want to do with your life, if you're going to college to find yourself, I would really encourage you to embrace a different call to action.
01:22:50.000I want to send you a copy of my book because it's one of the more positive questions I've got.
01:22:54.000He's like, okay, what should our plan be to lobby for verifiable elections, meaning elections in the states that are unambiguous and impossible to question their veracity?
01:23:36.000Georgia, I don't have as much of a, you know, kind of an understanding of the kind of terrain of the politics there, but it's got to get fixed.
01:23:44.000It has to be the number one priority of the incoming state legislatures in these states.
01:23:52.000And don't just wait for your state legislature to take action on this either.
01:23:56.000Anyone can introduce a bill to government.
01:23:58.000So if you want to take that upon yourself and draft up the first draft of this bill to change your voter laws, you can do that.
01:24:09.000In my 65 years of existence, I've never been so ashamed and embarrassed that I live in a country that allows us to take an election that contains such clear examples of so and so and so forth.
01:24:17.000It'll take a while for me to recover from this, and I might not ever.
01:24:19.000I understand, Don, but I'm going to, we're going to put it on our shoulders right now, and we'll be here when you're ready to get re-engaged.
01:24:26.000We'll hopefully have moved the ball in some direction.
01:24:30.000Email us your questions, freedom at charliekirk.com.
01:25:32.000The more knowledge you have about our country, the philosophy, the governing documents, you're going to be more informed of how to approach things that go from there.
01:25:40.000The second thing is get local before you get national.
01:25:43.000School board races, mayor races, water reclamation district races, mosquito abatement stuff, whatever it is.
01:26:10.000If you want to get involved, go to tpusa.com, turning point USA, where we play offense with a sense of urgency to win America's Culture War.
