00:01:31.000 We want to lead with a story that has been bubbling up for quite some time, and it's happening in the great state of Texas.
00:01:37.000 It's a little bit of a third-rail topic.
00:01:40.000 Some people would say it's politically incorrect.
00:01:42.000 You're not allowed to talk about it.
00:01:44.000 You're not allowed to dive into why this is happening.
00:01:47.000 That sounds like a perfect story for The Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:50.000 When I first read it, I'll be honest, I didn't believe it.
00:01:53.000 I said, ah, this sounds like it's being exaggerated.
00:01:56.000 Some people are trying to get clicks.
00:01:58.000 But the more I studied it and the more I researched it, The more real it is.
00:02:06.000 Now, the story actually harmonizes with the tragic news of the death of my friend David Horowitz.
00:02:13.000 And David Horowitz passed away yesterday.
00:02:15.000 A legend who warned his entire career that if you keep on importing Muslims and Mohammedans, they're going to try and create their own communities that are not welcome with Western values.
00:02:30.000 They are going to try to implement Sharia, and that Western civilization is incompatible with Islam.
00:02:37.000 That was his main contention, and we'll play some pieces of tape from David Horowitz later in the show.
00:02:42.000 He is a legend of a man, truly.
00:02:45.000 So what's going on in Texas, of all places?
00:02:47.000 Mind you, this is not New York, this is not California, this is Texas.
00:02:51.000 And as you know, Texas Republicans are rather weak at times.
00:02:54.000 They don't really know how to fight.
00:02:58.000 Well, Muslims...
00:02:59.000 In Texas are looking to build their own epic city.
00:03:04.000 Literally, it's called Epic City.
00:03:07.000 The East Plano Islamic Center, deep in the heart of Texas.
00:03:11.000 It's in the northeast suburbs of Dallas.
00:03:14.000 The plan right now is for these Mohammedans to build a 402-acre community in the Dallas suburbs.
00:03:22.000 For reference, that's about four times the size of Disneyland.
00:03:25.000 It would have over 1,000 homes, a K-12 school.
00:03:29.000 A college, retail stores, and of course, a mosque.
00:03:33.000 Now let me pause here.
00:03:34.000 When's the last time Christians decided to do this?
00:03:38.000 Christians should build communities like this.
00:03:41.000 I look at the master plan here and I say, despite the fact that their worldview is toxic and that they want to destroy the West, you've got to give them respect.
00:03:49.000 It's well designed.
00:03:50.000 It's well configured.
00:03:51.000 They're here to spread their value system to the West.
00:03:56.000 And we're like, oh, well, you know.
00:03:59.000 Religious freedom.
00:04:00.000 Really?
00:04:01.000 Do the founding fathers have in mind Mohammedans coming to the great state of Texas or one of our states to build an exclusive city for Muslims?
00:04:11.000 The idea is that this would all be on private property, so it could exist as a dedicated Islamic area.
00:04:17.000 Developers claim the area will be open to all, which of course is rubbish, though we know and we get the feeling anybody moving in would find themselves not very welcome.
00:04:26.000 America has freedom of religion, of course.
00:04:28.000 But we should be frank.
00:04:29.000 Large, dedicated Islamic areas are a threat to America.
00:04:34.000 We've seen how this unfolds in Europe.
00:04:36.000 There are massive, huge no-go zones in major European cities in Britain and in France.
00:04:41.000 And in Sweden.
00:04:43.000 Those are real.
00:04:44.000 You're not allowed to talk about them, but they are real.
00:04:46.000 The police stay out of things.
00:04:48.000 In no-go zones, Islamic values reign supreme.
00:04:52.000 Blasphemy laws, for example.
00:04:53.000 If you dare question the Prophet Muhammad.
00:04:57.000 They will come after you.
00:04:58.000 Free speech is not an Islamic value.
00:05:02.000 Free expression is not an Islamic value.
00:05:05.000 It's actually the exact opposite.
00:05:08.000 Submission is an Islamic value.
00:05:10.000 That's literally what Islam means.
00:05:12.000 Islam has conquest values.
00:05:14.000 They seek to take over land and territory.
00:05:18.000 And Europe is now a conquered continent.
00:05:22.000 It is not what it used to be.
00:05:23.000 It's a husk of its former self, which is increasingly Mohammedan.
00:05:27.000 So what are core Islamic values?
00:05:31.000 Again, look at what happens when you run under Sharia law.
00:05:34.000 And remember, under Islam, it is a requirement that believers try to get their societies to run on Sharia law.
00:05:41.000 There are other takeaways here.
00:05:42.000 The fact that this is even a possibility shows how our leaders, including Republicans in Texas, have for decades facilitated the great replacement of Americans with foreigners.
00:05:53.000 Who hold dramatically and drastically different values.
00:05:57.000 If your enemies are dumb enough to let you in, then you go in and you gradually build your numbers until you dominate them.
00:06:07.000 Why are we putting up with this?
00:06:09.000 Do we really need an extra half a million people coming in to build their own Islamic city?
00:06:16.000 One of which, the architect behind it said, I'm going to read the quote here, that this is going to be...
00:06:25.000 A Muslim-only space.
00:06:27.000 Then he had to backpedal that a little bit.
00:06:28.000 Now, this is getting a lot of attention.
00:06:31.000 Now, we were fed the line about America saying, well, they're going to assimilate.
00:06:36.000 Instead, they're building Islamic cities.
00:06:38.000 And I say this as somebody who actually, my primary care doctor is Muslim.
00:06:43.000 I know plenty of good Muslims.
00:06:45.000 We're not talking about individual Muslims that are good people.
00:06:49.000 Instead, I'm talking about institutional Islam.
00:06:52.000 Of course there are good individual Muslims.
00:06:54.000 We all know them.
00:06:55.000 They can be sweet.
00:06:56.000 They can be charitable.
00:06:57.000 They can be honoring.
00:06:58.000 I trust him so much with my own personal health.
00:07:01.000 And Dr. Zutty Jasser has assimilated, in fact, so much so he speaks out against stuff like this.
00:07:06.000 He's trying to lead a reformation within Islam.
00:07:08.000 And good luck with that, as I always tell him.
00:07:11.000 I hope you are successful.
00:07:13.000 It's very rare.
00:07:14.000 He has very different values from a lot of Muslims, Dr. Zutty Jasser.
00:07:18.000 In fact, we're going to have him on the program.
00:07:19.000 Again, soon to talk about this.
00:07:21.000 And he speaks out against Hamas.
00:07:22.000 He speaks against Iran.
00:07:23.000 He is a model of what I hope more American Muslims would be.
00:07:26.000 We are not seeing that in the West, though.
00:07:28.000 He is a rarity.
00:07:29.000 He is an exception.
00:07:31.000 Instead, we see the further radicalization of Muslims that come to the West.
00:07:37.000 They don't assimilate.
00:07:38.000 Has Ilan Omar assimilated to America?
00:07:41.000 No.
00:07:43.000 Ilan Omar has instead tried to infect the United States of America with her radical anti-American Mohammedism.
00:07:49.000 Amongst her extreme leftist beliefs.
00:07:53.000 Let's go to cut 348.
00:07:55.000 This is Governor Greg Abbott.
00:07:56.000 This is the all-Muslim city in Texas being built with no building permits.
00:08:02.000 And we're just saying, well, we can't stop it because religious freedom.
00:08:05.000 It's a bunch of rubbish.
00:08:07.000 This is a conquering ideology to take over the West, whether by sword or whether by development.
00:08:17.000 And yes, Muslims have a lot of babies.
00:08:19.000 And their clever tactic is to continue slowly envelop the West.
00:08:26.000 Play cut 348.
00:08:28.000 There appear to be multiple violations that have taken place here.
00:08:31.000 One is information has been provided to investors that appears to be misleading.
00:08:36.000 Another is they appear to be in violation of fair housing laws.
00:08:41.000 Also, we found that, you know, they talk about doing all this building, but...
00:08:46.000 They don't have any building permits to actually do any building, and they have challenges even getting those building permits.
00:08:52.000 Believe this or not, we've even received information that they may have been conducting a funeral home without legal authority.
00:09:00.000 Bottom line, Laura, is that there are so many questions arose, especially information that we received, that led us to need to call the elite Texas Rangers to conduct a criminal investigation to find out if...
00:09:14.000 Criminal laws in Texas have been violated.
00:09:17.000 That's a pretty good answer by Governor Abbott, but of course he's not getting down to the core of it.
00:09:22.000 I get it.
00:09:23.000 He's the governor of a big state.
00:09:24.000 He's got to be political.
00:09:25.000 I actually think he's doing a pretty good job on this, to his credit.
00:09:28.000 But I can say stuff that he can't say.
00:09:31.000 I'm not the governor of a big state.
00:09:32.000 And so let me just tell you plainly what he might be thinking.
00:09:36.000 This is outrageous.
00:09:38.000 Go assimilate.
00:09:39.000 Go buy homes in Plano.
00:09:41.000 Don't go build your own private development of Muslim-only communities with a mosque as the center.
00:09:48.000 Sure.
00:09:49.000 The details here are remarkable.
00:09:52.000 In their own words, their own words, they said, and by the way, there's a whole funding model.
00:10:00.000 There's a recreational center.
00:10:02.000 There's a senior center.
00:10:03.000 This is a Muslim-only community.
00:10:06.000 And I'm going to read this here.
00:10:08.000 Yazir Qadi has emphasized...
00:10:11.000 That this will be a Muslim neighborhood.
00:10:14.000 But now he had to backpedal and say, oh, it's going to be well integrated.
00:10:16.000 Oh, really?
00:10:17.000 Well integrated.
00:10:18.000 What example do you have of that?
00:10:19.000 Why don't you go build this in Riyadh?
00:10:21.000 Go build this in Lebanon, not in Plano.
00:10:24.000 Go make the Middle East great again.
00:10:26.000 Oh, because you want, as like a parasitic force, to take over the West.
00:10:31.000 Got it.
00:10:32.000 How's that working for Europe?
00:10:34.000 I sure hope Texas has the stones to stop it.
00:10:39.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:40.000 When faced with a threat, you might think of lethal force, but consider a less lethal option like Burna to avoid legal issues tied to firearms.
00:10:48.000 As a strong advocate for the right to bear arms, I value diverse defensive options, and Burna offers an effective alternative.
00:10:55.000 Proudly assembled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Burna's less lethal pistol launchers loaded with tear gas and kinetic ammunition can incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes, allowing you to safely escape or call for help while reducing...
00:11:09.000 The risk of severe injury.
00:11:10.000 Berna is about preventing tragedy and preserving life without the consequences of using lethal measures.
00:11:16.000 It's legal in all 50 states.
00:11:17.000 And over 500,000 units are in the hands of responsible citizens and law enforcement.
00:11:24.000 Berna can be shipped directly to your door.
00:11:26.000 I've personally tested the Berna pistol and can vouch for its effectiveness and its ease of use.

00:11:37.000 That's byRNA.com slash Charlie.
00:11:41.000 I really want Dr. Zutty Jasser back on the show in person at some point.
00:11:46.000 We should probably do that as a long-form interview.
00:11:48.000 I think it would perform very well as a Muslim who speaks out against this stuff.
00:11:54.000 But let me also just give you some plain commentary.
00:11:58.000 I'm by no means an expert in Sharia law.
00:12:01.000 I think we're all about to become one.
00:12:03.000 We're all about to become one, because it's coming.
00:12:06.000 Just understand the core elements of Islam, from sodomizing women, from female genital mutilation, to one that is just so important.
00:12:20.000 Our birthright as Americans, how many times have we said this on the program, is freedom of speech?
00:12:25.000 They don't believe that.
00:12:27.000 There is no reconciling that.
00:12:29.000 Period.
00:12:30.000 That should be a deal stopper.
00:12:31.000 We're not going to let you into America if you don't believe in freedom of expression.
00:12:37.000 Probably a good idea.
00:12:39.000 But instead, we are importing hundreds of thousands of these people who believe that under Islam, this is not heretical, if you blaspheme against the Prophet Muhammad, you should be killed.
00:12:56.000 That's nice.
00:12:57.000 So if you say, for example, that Prophet Muhammad was with, was it her name, Aisha, at the age of nine?
00:13:06.000 No, no, no.
00:13:07.000 Off with your head.
00:13:09.000 Islamic law also teaches you that if you leave Islam, you should be killed.
00:13:13.000 Well, that makes for a great society.
00:13:16.000 And the weak, gutless wonders...
00:13:19.000 Of many people in Texas, the Texas House passed a resolution recognizing the Sharia law Islamic month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, whatever that is.
00:13:30.000 They recently created Pakistan Day and a Sharia law city, as we know, is being built.
00:13:38.000 Christians should speak out more against this, but to be perfectly honest, where are the American Jews also speaking out against this?
00:13:46.000 As much as Muslims don't care for the West and care for Christians, they really don't like Jews.
00:13:52.000 And you would think that the Jewish leadership of America would say, you know, this is a problem.
00:14:01.000 Basically, I guess it's on us, Western Christians, to fight it.
00:14:03.000 It's fine.
00:14:04.000 We're used to it.
00:14:05.000 There's so many pieces of tape here that I could play about this.
00:14:09.000 And just so we are clear, this is not just a popular view.
00:14:12.000 It is written in Islamic texts.
00:14:15.000 And it is believed by the rank and file.
00:14:20.000 One by one.
00:14:21.000 Let's play a piece of tape here.
00:14:23.000 This is very vulgar, but this is a conversation that was happening about Islam in Europe.
00:14:30.000 It's very vulgar.
00:14:31.000 A Muslim man explains how Muslim men see the women of the West.
00:14:36.000 And so, essentially, this is how, just as your trigger warning, it's very vulgar between a guy by the name of Ahmed Khan and Halal Hogan.
00:14:45.000 Talking about how Muslims view the women of the West.
00:14:49.000 Let's play 361.
00:14:51.000 Do you hear it?
00:14:52.000 The Muslim mindset?
00:14:53.000 I'm going to have sex with these Swedish girls because the Muslim mindset, they're garbage only for sex, but I'm going to marry a Muslim woman, right?
00:15:00.000 Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
00:15:03.000 I love you, man.
00:15:04.000 I'm proud of you, but I want the Christian women to hear what you said.
00:15:08.000 The Muslim mindset.
00:15:10.000 We go to the West.
00:15:12.000 The Western women, they're all garbage.
00:15:14.000 They're whores.
00:15:14.000 We sleep with them, dump them, and we marry Muslim women.
00:15:17.000 Yep, yep.
00:15:18.000 Oh, it's in Texas.
00:15:19.000 And here is the Texas State House just groveling to the rise of Muhammadism in Texas.
00:15:29.000 Could you imagine, like Stephen F. Austin and the founders of Texas, how they would react to this?
00:15:37.000 The intrepid entrepreneurs that started.
00:15:40.000 The state of Texas when no one else could figure it out.
00:15:43.000 Play cut 357.
00:15:46.000 The clerk will read the resolutions.
00:15:49.000 H.R. 34 by Leilani.
00:15:51.000 Holy month of Ramadan.
00:15:52.000 H.R. 36 by Leilani.
00:15:53.000 Eid al-Fitr 2025.
00:15:54.000 H.R. 38 by Leilani.
00:15:56.000 Mother's Day.
00:15:56.000 H.R. 39 by Leilani.
00:15:57.000 So there they are reading out the recognized holy days of Texas.
00:16:01.000 This is in Texas, everybody.
00:16:03.000 This is not Illinois.
00:16:05.000 This is not Michigan.
00:16:07.000 There's a very thin line between religious tolerance and cultural suicide.
00:16:11.000 We will cease to exist as a country and as a civilization if this continues.
00:16:18.000 So what is the solution?
00:16:20.000 The first solution should be, obviously, Epic City should not be built.
00:16:23.000 Number two, stop importing people from these countries.
00:16:27.000 Cut it off.
00:16:28.000 It's done.
00:16:29.000 Over.
00:16:30.000 Because Islam, as I've said many times, We'll take out the knife and with the slow-motion slitting of the throat of the West, will we let them?
00:16:42.000 We lost a legend yesterday, David Horowitz.
00:16:44.000 David Horowitz was a mentor and a friend of mine, one of the original people who really believed in the vision of Turning Point USA.
00:16:51.000 He would have these things called the David Horowitz Restoration Weekends.
00:16:55.000 They would almost always be the second week of November.
00:16:59.000 They'd be every year, but they would be most famous for being restoration after an election.
00:17:04.000 So after a midterm election or a presidential election, they'd either be a time to be amongst friends if we didn't like the result or a time to also celebrate if we loved the result.
00:17:15.000 David Horowitz is a titan.
00:17:16.000 He was a former communist.
00:17:17.000 He wrote prolifically.
00:17:18.000 He was an incredible mind.
00:17:20.000 Being a former communist, he understood what motivated the left.
00:17:24.000 We hit it off.
00:17:25.000 I would go to the restoration weekend, and he would introduce me to donors that I had no business knowing.
00:17:29.000 You see, he kind of had this confab of all these donors, and as I look around the Turning Point USA complex, that building, that building, that building, all named of people that donated to us that I met at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
00:17:43.000 Our biggest donors to this day are people I met at David Horowitz's donor retreat, and he never cared an inch that I was there trying to meet.
00:17:53.000 Donors.
00:17:53.000 He said, Charlie's doing good work.
00:17:55.000 The more, the merrier.
00:17:56.000 You know how rare that is?
00:17:58.000 Do you know how rare that is to actually go to an event where they're not trying to block you and say, these are our donors and my donors.
00:18:04.000 And I try to do the best I can.
00:18:06.000 Okay, if people want to show up to Turning Point, you'll say, I just kind of shrug my shoulders.
00:18:09.000 I learned that from David.
00:18:10.000 No territorialism.
00:18:12.000 No gatekeeping.
00:18:13.000 Instead, David would say, Charlie's doing something great for kids.
00:18:17.000 Let's do something for him.
00:18:19.000 We get attacked so much by people that are so protective of their donors.
00:18:24.000 And he was genuine, and he was grassrootsy.
00:18:26.000 And David, to his credit, I remember sitting down with him back in 2014, and we were only two years in Turning Point USA, and I cast the whole vision.
00:18:34.000 And he said, Charlie, you've got to be aggressive on these campuses.
00:18:38.000 Make the liberals come to the mic.
00:18:41.000 Make the communists expose who they are.
00:18:44.000 And put it on the internet.
00:18:46.000 Of course, he was one of many people that inspired me to have that hyper-aggressive tact to go right into the belly of the beast.
00:18:53.000 And I want to play one of his pieces of tape here.
00:18:55.000 This is David Horowitz doing what I now do way before me.
00:18:59.000 This was back in 2010.
00:19:01.000 I was still in high school.
00:19:02.000 He would go to these college campuses and he would do an open mic.
00:19:06.000 And man, did he understand the left because he was raised as a communist.
00:19:11.000 Let's play right now.
00:19:14.000 Cut 340.
00:19:15.000 Will you condemn Hamas here and now?
00:19:19.000 I'm sorry, what?
00:19:20.000 Will you condemn Hamas?
00:19:22.000 Would I condemn Hamas?
00:19:24.000 As a terrorist organization, genocide organization.
00:19:26.000 Are you asking me to put myself on a cross?
00:19:29.000 So you won't.
00:19:30.000 I actually have had this experience many times.
00:19:33.000 You didn't read the pamphlet, because the pamphlet is chapter and verse.
00:19:37.000 The main connection is that the MSA is part of the...
00:19:41.000 Muslim Brotherhood Network.
00:19:43.000 I meant, if I say something, I'm sure that I will be arrested for reasons of Homeland Security.
00:19:49.000 So if you could please just answer my question.
00:19:51.000 If you condemn Hamas, Homeland Security will arrest you.
00:19:54.000 If I support Hamas, because your question forces me to condemn Hamas.
00:19:58.000 If I support Hamas, I look really bad.
00:20:01.000 If you don't condemn Hamas, obviously you support it.
00:20:03.000 I'm a Jew.
00:20:04.000 The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn't have to...
00:20:11.000 Hunt us down globally.
00:20:13.000 For it or against it?
00:20:17.000 For it.
00:20:18.000 And that sends chills down your spine.
00:20:20.000 Boy, does that not complete what we've been talking about this entire episode about the rise of Islam in Texas.
00:20:26.000 And he had a way to provoke it and to flush it out.
00:20:30.000 I encourage you guys to check out David Horowitz's books.
00:20:32.000 He just wrote one right before his death that was incredibly powerful.
00:20:36.000 He had this book called The Black Book.
00:20:38.000 I want to get the exact title.
00:20:39.000 He had a great book called Radical Son, A Generational Odyssey.
00:20:42.000 And my goodness, that's right, the black book of the American left is one of the greatest books to understand the left.
00:20:48.000 He also wrote a book called Hating Whitey all the way back in 1999.
00:20:53.000 He was out of the curve on all this stuff.
00:20:55.000 We're going to keep on honoring David Horowitz with Mike Cernovich at the top of the next hour because honestly he deserves it.
00:21:01.000 And I can say this, I do not know that Turning Point USA would exist in its current form and impact.
00:21:07.000 If it wasn't for David Horowitz.
00:21:11.000 Gentlemen, let's get real for a second.
00:21:13.000 Are you frustrated with today's woke dating apps?
00:21:15.000 The apps, the games, the endless swiping.
00:21:18.000 It's a waste of time.
00:21:19.000 Finding a woman who shares your values, faith, family, and patriotism, feels nearly impossible.
00:21:24.000 But it doesn't have to be.
00:21:26.000 Selective Search, America's leading matchmaking firm, is changing the game.
00:21:30.000 They connect strong, successful men like you, men who love God, These are intelligent, faith-driven women who put family first and still believe in traditional values.
00:21:43.000 Imagine that.
00:21:44.000 If you're a single conservative man in the late 30s to early 50s in Southern California, listen up.
00:21:50.000 Selective Search has an exclusive network of women ready for the real thing.
00:21:54.000 Here's the best part.
00:21:55.000 Their candidate program is 100% free and confidential.
00:21:58.000 Some of my closest friends have used Selective Search, and let me tell you, they're meeting incredible women.
00:22:03.000 As we've been remembering David Horowitz,
00:22:30.000 this program, I want to try to get a guest who really respected and understood the profound impact that David Horowitz had on the conservative movement.
00:22:39.000 You see, David was a former communist, was a fighter, oh, a street fighter.
00:22:44.000 He loved to fight, and he was good at it.
00:22:46.000 But he was really on the cutting edge.
00:22:48.000 I put him in a group of people, small group of people, that predated my involvement in the national conservative movement.
00:22:54.000 I was involved in local politics.
00:22:56.000 A small group of people.
00:22:58.000 It would be Andrew Breitbart.
00:22:59.000 It would be David Horowitz.
00:23:02.000 Bannon would definitely be on that list.
00:23:04.000 Rush Limbaugh.
00:23:05.000 That kind of held up the conservative movement in that 08, 09, 2010, 2011 bracket where things seemed really dark.
00:23:14.000 Obama looked ascendant, the country looked like it was going left, and Horowitz was one of the few people to hold the line.
00:23:20.000 Joining us now is Mike Cernovich, great friend, author, filmmaker, and really understands this, and that's why I wanted to have him.
00:23:26.000 Mike, thanks for taking the time.
00:23:28.000 It's too bad.
00:23:29.000 It's tragic that we lost David.
00:23:30.000 What is your thoughts on this whole thing?
00:23:32.000 Yeah, I mean, losing David hurt.
00:23:34.000 And then, of course, Dennis Prager.
00:23:35.000 We've all been praying for his recovery.
00:23:38.000 You know, that hurt.
00:23:39.000 And what I respected about David Horowitz, and you touched on it too, but what David did even more than I think Andrew Breitbart or Rush Limbaugh is, most people...
00:23:50.000 Assume that people got into MAGA for the money.
00:23:52.000 But I remember when, you know, you at the RNC in 2016, I remember early MAGA.
00:23:57.000 I was buying a lot of dinners.
00:23:59.000 Yes, sir.
00:23:59.000 It was completely under-resourced.
00:24:01.000 There was no resourcing at all.
00:24:03.000 Nothing.
00:24:04.000 Nothing.
00:24:05.000 Nothing, yeah.
00:24:06.000 And David Horowitz was an exception where it's not – he wasn't even a billionaire.
00:24:11.000 Imagine if he had been a billionaire of the good that he would have done.
00:24:13.000 But even with what he did is he would resource a lot of – Young conservatives, give them stuff to do, help people out here and there.
00:24:22.000 He had his Freedom Fellowship and he would promote people.
00:24:25.000 And that's something that in 2025, people take it for granted.
00:24:30.000 But there was no, if you were a young conservative, you couldn't really become politically active.
00:24:35.000 And that is why the right wing was losing the culture.
00:24:39.000 There's all these purists who say, oh, how dare people make money doing this?
00:24:43.000 And it's like, great, okay, then you're 22, 23, you're a conservative.
00:24:47.000 What are you going to do with all that energy?
00:24:50.000 Well, you're not going to do politics.
00:24:52.000 You're not going to do media.
00:24:53.000 You're going to have to go do something else with your life.
00:24:56.000 And then people go, why?
00:24:57.000 And then those same people go, why do we lose the youth?
00:25:00.000 Gosh.
00:25:02.000 Wow.
00:25:02.000 What a mystery, right?
00:25:04.000 So Horowitz, he understood a lot.
00:25:05.000 He went through a lot of the early cancel culture stuff because he was a little bit older.
00:25:09.000 I feel like fell under the radar.
00:25:11.000 MasterCard deplatformed him.
00:25:13.000 That's right.
00:25:14.000 Remember Patreon?
00:25:14.000 That's right.
00:25:15.000 I forgot about that.
00:25:16.000 You're right.
00:25:16.000 You're exactly right.
00:25:17.000 Yeah.
00:25:18.000 So he was patient zero for the deplatforming.
00:25:22.000 He had Jihad Watch.
00:25:24.000 That was always getting attacked.
00:25:25.000 The SPLC smeared him.
00:25:27.000 And he withstood a lot of devastating hits, and he was always building people up.
00:25:32.000 And then what also, you know, he understood, and I don't know why people don't understand this now.
00:25:40.000 But he understood that if other causes are near and dear to your heart, the best thing that you can do is help young conservatives because then when you want to talk to them about a cause that's near and dear to your heart, they're willing to listen.
00:25:53.000 It doesn't mean that they're going to agree with you, but they're going to be willing to listen.
00:25:57.000 So he wasn't a finger-wagging moralist, I think, in a way a lot of other people are these days.
00:26:03.000 We can go through the list of people that got their start.
00:26:07.000 David Horowitz Freedom Center retreats.
00:26:09.000 I'm one of them.
00:26:10.000 Stephen Miller.
00:26:11.000 Stephen Miller was an upstart, kind of anti-immigration speaker, and David Horowitz was his mentor.
00:26:20.000 And he's just one of many people.
00:26:23.000 And can you talk, Mike, he understood the left in a time where a lot of Vichy French, Mitt Romney, Koch brother mentality was dominating the GOP.
00:26:36.000 Meaning that in 2012, 2013, 2014, when I was first getting my start, it was all like, look, Charlie, it's a battle of ideas.
00:26:44.000 And if we win the debate, we'll win the country and decency will prevail.
00:26:49.000 And David would always say, that's a bunch of crap.
00:26:52.000 He said, these people want us dead.
00:26:54.000 They want us in prison.
00:26:56.000 They want the country burned.
00:26:58.000 And we must fight them.
00:26:59.000 And all they understand is power.
00:27:02.000 Can you comment on how...
00:27:04.000 He was so insistent on the tactics to fight the left because he was a former communist himself.
00:27:11.000 Right.
00:27:11.000 That was interesting you bring it to the Koch brothers because that was, again, a lot of people take this for granted because the Koch brothers were anti-MAGA.
00:27:20.000 They funded all these libertarian things and everything before Horowitz was not about culture.
00:27:27.000 It wasn't about the spiritual dimension.
00:27:29.000 Everything was really just commerce.
00:27:31.000 Bingo.
00:27:33.000 25, if you're new to politics, you don't understand that the GOP worshipped at the altar of money.
00:27:37.000 That's right, and David never cared about that.
00:27:39.000 He was like, I'm talking about Islam, I'll talk about the trans stuff.
00:27:42.000 He talked about race before anybody else.
00:27:45.000 Yeah, Jihad Watch got him in all kinds of trouble.
00:27:48.000 Robert Spencer, even though Robert and I get into it now and then, they understood these cultural issues.
00:27:53.000 But the GOP people take it for granted, and this is something we have to fight against even to this day, is primarily was the party of Moloch about money.
00:28:03.000 Oh, we need unlimited free markets.
00:28:05.000 We need open borders.
00:28:06.000 And who cares if your spiritual life suffers?
00:28:09.000 And who cares if you have to move away from your family to get a job?
00:28:13.000 We're just all economic widgets.
00:28:14.000 And that was the prevailing orthodoxy that Horowitz was fighting against.
00:28:19.000 And that's what Trump was fighting against.
00:28:21.000 I mean, and recently...
00:28:23.000 I enjoy making fun of Canadians, mainly because I'm tired of certain high-profile Canadians coming to my country and then telling me that we need to tone it down.
00:28:34.000 It's like, well, you just left Canada, though.
00:28:36.000 So maybe go back to Canada and fight for Canada.
00:28:39.000 But if we're being unironic or we're just being serious for a moment, had we not had people like Horowitz and Andrew Breitbart, had we not had Trump in 2015, 2016, How would we have Mark Carney as president right now?
00:28:56.000 That's right.
00:28:56.000 This is the most profound point, Mike.
00:28:59.000 It's probably five people that kept us from a liberal takeover of the country.
00:29:04.000 It was Trump, which, by the way, Trump is the inheritor of a lot of Horowitz philosophy.
00:29:09.000 You know Trump loved David Horowitz.
00:29:11.000 In fact, I put them on the phone together once because he was like, oh, I love David.
00:29:14.000 He's so good for me.
00:29:15.000 And it was one of David's...
00:29:17.000 Favorite moments of his life to be able to talk to the president on the phone.
00:29:20.000 But Rush Limbaugh, Bannon, Breitbart.
00:29:23.000 And I love what you talk about too.
00:29:25.000 Can you comment on this?
00:29:26.000 About two minute remaining.
00:29:27.000 It was so ragtag.
00:29:28.000 It was this like insurgency guerrilla army.
00:29:30.000 This was before Turning Point had anything, right?
00:29:33.000 You and I were out in the streets just kind of arguing.
00:29:35.000 This is before all the trappings and before MAGA was a thing.
00:29:39.000 And David was the backbone of so much of that.
00:29:42.000 Yeah, David gave people inspiration.
00:29:44.000 He gave people enough where you could kind of, like, figure it out, right?
00:29:49.000 The big thing lacking right now in...
00:29:52.000 The conservative world is a lot of these young people, nobody's trying to get rich.
00:29:55.000 Just help them out a little bit.
00:29:57.000 Buy a few dinners, do a few events, buy a few plane tickets.
00:30:01.000 But yeah, people don't get it.
00:30:02.000 I found that old video of Charlie Kirk in 2016.
00:30:05.000 I lost all my periscopes.
00:30:07.000 It was a catastrophe for journalism.
00:30:09.000 But for whatever reason, I had one.
00:30:11.000 And I posted it.
00:30:13.000 It's just Charlie Kirk on a megaphone.
00:30:15.000 So in 2025, people think, oh, MAGA, this...
00:30:18.000 Dude, you don't understand.
00:30:19.000 People just showed up with a megaphone.
00:30:21.000 Me and Posobiec were just like, show up!
00:30:23.000 That was all you did, right?
00:30:26.000 There was no Charlie Kirk Show podcast.
00:30:29.000 It was literally, we were at the RNC, there were a bunch of commies, and we said, hey, let's just go get a megaphone.
00:30:35.000 We weren't even filming it.
00:30:36.000 We were just like, let's go.
00:30:38.000 Let's go defend our guy.
00:30:39.000 And it went viral, and you were periscoping it.
00:30:42.000 And you gotta understand and appreciate, people in the audience, I think, do, that...
00:30:49.000 Now that, literally, as we're talking right now, Mike, there's this cabinet meeting, and we're in control of the government and all that, and it's wonderful, it's great.
00:30:55.000 But we were inches, inches, literally, you know, in July 13th, but despite that, inches away from becoming Canada.
00:31:04.000 And David Horowitz was the one that was just in the break, in the brink, in this gap, saying, nope, like, we're not going to do that.
00:31:13.000 Here is how you fight.
00:31:15.000 You know, frequently, I hear from people, Man, in some ways I'm glad that my uncle, my aunt is not alive to see this.
00:31:25.000 I actually, with David, I'm super thrilled that he was able to see Donald Trump win back the White House.
00:31:33.000 That gives me great comfort.
00:31:34.000 He saw this story come to some form of completion, one that he helped design and fight for.

00:32:43.000 Mike Cernovich continues with us to remember the great and now late David Horowitz.
00:32:49.000 What lessons can we learn from David Horowitz in this current circumstance that we're in right now, Mike?
00:32:55.000 Yeah, because he was a former leftist, and I'm glad you had me on for this second segment because something we were kind of talking around but didn't put really into words between...
00:33:06.000 Horowitz, Breitbart, and others, it's called the fighting spirit, right?
00:33:11.000 The left gets in our faces and we go, oh, we're so precious.
00:33:16.000 We're so afraid.
00:33:18.000 Oh, I don't feel safe on camp.
00:33:20.000 That's totally anathema to the David Horowitz way, right?
00:33:24.000 Totally.
00:33:25.000 I don't feel safe.
00:33:26.000 I don't feel safe at Columbia.
00:33:28.000 You don't feel safe walking around an Ivy League campus?
00:33:30.000 Really?
00:33:31.000 You guys don't?
00:33:32.000 And that strain of Paul Ryan Conservatism, if you want to call it that, or conservatism, is reinfecting the younger generation, the Horowitz way, the Breitbart way.
00:33:43.000 You, you know, you just, like I said, that's why I posted that video.
00:33:47.000 You just walked into a group of goons at the RNC, communist goons, and you just walked in there.
00:33:52.000 And you had one guy with you.
00:33:54.000 You didn't have some Army and Navy SEALs around you.
00:33:56.000 And I was there keeping an eye on, and Posobiec was around there somewhere.
00:34:00.000 And you just walked into the fire, as Breitbart said.
00:34:03.000 And a lot of that is an energy.
00:34:06.000 Which, for reasons I don't understand, traditional conservatives kind of struggle with this vibe and oral.
00:34:12.000 What do you mean, vibe?
00:34:13.000 What do you mean?
00:34:14.000 Get in their faces.
00:34:15.000 Just yesterday, Jamie Raskin incited what looks like a beat mob on Posobiec because Posobiec went to an event and said, well, why did you waste all this money on impeachment?
00:34:27.000 These are things that we do now or that we did, the early OG MAGA, that whether we knew it or not, it was...
00:34:35.000 Due to the zeitgeist being created on the right by the Horwitz, Breitbart, and those other types.
00:34:40.000 So I think the lesson that everybody should learn is that, hey, we're not potted plants.
00:34:46.000 We're not wallflowers.
00:34:47.000 We don't run from the left.
00:34:49.000 We don't cry.
00:34:50.000 We don't throw little temper tantrums.
00:34:52.000 We use the tactics, if you will, that they do, which is we go to their events.
00:34:58.000 There was a video of a woman.
00:35:02.000 Recently going to an event in Texas and saying things about Islam, which personally for me is a little bit of a soft spot because I try to respect all religions.
00:35:13.000 But there is a sense where there are left-wing activists.
00:35:19.000 They'll come to our stuff.
00:35:20.000 Why don't we go to their stuff?
00:35:21.000 Why don't more people do what you did and go into the commies and speak the truth?
00:35:27.000 Why don't more people do what Posobiec did just yesterday to Jamie Raskin and say, oh, you guys are frauds.
00:35:32.000 Hakeem Jeffries is sitting on the Capitol steps for six hours doing impeachment hoaxes and standing up for MS-13.
00:35:40.000 Why doesn't it just occur?
00:35:42.000 To the right wing to say, well, wait, they're there on the Capitol steps?
00:35:45.000 Why don't I go to them and ask them why they love MS-13?
00:35:48.000 Why doesn't it occur to our people to do that?
00:35:50.000 Because if you had two Republicans there on the Capitol steps, leftists would be there in a second, right?
00:35:57.000 And I'm not saying be violent like the left, but leftists would say, wait a minute, we got two Republican Congress members here on the Capitol steps.
00:36:05.000 We're going to go there and we're going to ask them questions.
00:36:08.000 Okay.
00:36:09.000 I watched that, and I was upset because I was already out of town.
00:36:12.000 I was on a flight, I think, when it happened.
00:36:14.000 And all I could think of is, why doesn't it occur to young conservatives?
00:36:18.000 Go up there and ask them why they love MS-13.
00:36:20.000 Go up there and ask them why they love Hamas.
00:36:23.000 Right?
00:36:23.000 I don't want to see people, because I've gotten into it with some people, and a lot of people are upset with me, and I don't really care.
00:36:28.000 I don't want to see people who are in their 20s, the prime of life.
00:36:32.000 Oh, I'm afraid to walk on a campus.
00:36:34.000 No, why don't you go up there?
00:36:36.000 And say, hey, Hakeem Jeffries, why do you love Hamas so much?
00:36:39.000 And they'll go, oh, I don't know that.
00:36:41.000 They do, though.
00:36:42.000 I mean, they do.
00:36:42.000 That's what David Horowitz would teach us to do.
00:36:44.000 That's right.
00:36:45.000 Right.
00:36:45.000 Go do it.
00:36:46.000 How are you going to let him be there for six hours?
00:36:48.000 And then you want to cry in a little corner?
00:36:51.000 This is not the Horowitz way.
00:36:53.000 It's not the OG MAGA way.
00:36:54.000 It's not our way.
00:36:56.000 And that's the message I hope people be more like David Horowitz.
00:37:00.000 Go up to these people.
00:37:01.000 Again, not violent, but just say, hey, why do you guys love Hamas so much?
00:37:05.000 Make them defend themselves.
00:37:06.000 Because the left-wing tactic that OG MAGA was great at, and this wisdom is getting lost, and I don't know why.
00:37:12.000 It's endlessly driving me crazy.
00:37:14.000 The Horowitz way, the Breitbart way.
00:37:16.000 Make them answer the allegation.
00:37:18.000 That's right.
00:37:19.000 Right?
00:37:19.000 Make them.
00:37:20.000 Why do you love Hamas?
00:37:21.000 Oh, I don't.
00:37:22.000 Make them.
00:37:23.000 Why is it always us playing defense?
00:37:25.000 It requires you to be on the offensive and literally get out of your studio, right?
00:37:29.000 Do what I do to go to these college campuses and to be around people that don't always agree with you and to set the tone and set the directive.
00:37:38.000 And David embodied that better than anybody else.
00:37:41.000 Mike, great work as always.
00:37:42.000 Anything you want to plug?
00:37:43.000 15 seconds.
00:37:44.000 No, but tell more people to be like David Horowitz.
00:37:48.000 You're going to get a lot further.
00:37:49.000 You're going to get a lot further in life.
00:37:51.000 Very good.
00:37:51.000 Mike, thanks so much.
00:37:52.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com Yeah, we should make Horowitz a verb.
00:37:56.000 To Horowitz them.
00:37:57.000 I love that idea.
00:37:58.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:38:00.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
