00:03:03.000 Merrick Garland is a very interesting individual.
00:03:09.000 Merrick Garland was supposed to be on THE United States Supreme Court.
00:03:14.000 Remember when Justice Antonin Scalia passed away, the great Antonin Scalia, then President Barack Hussein Obama proposed that we need to have kind of a healing and kind of coming together period, and we're going to have a moderate come on the U.S. Supreme Court.
00:03:30.000 We're going to have Merrick Garland as he's not far to the left, he's not far to the right, he's kind of going to be like Anthony Kennedy.
00:03:38.000 Now, to his great credit, Senator Mitch McConnell said, no, that's not going to happen.
00:03:42.000 We're going to wait to the election.
00:03:43.000 We're going to see what happens.
00:03:45.000 The election occurred, and Merrick Garland remained in limbo and never got his appointment to the United States Supreme Court.
00:03:54.000 Merrick Garland always kind of had the appearance, he always kind of had the disguise, the camouflage, the uniform of being a very moderate individual, both in his temperament and also his politics.
00:04:08.000 Merrick Garland always kind of had a way of saying, I don't want to bring the country too far in one direction, but my duty is to the rule of law.
00:04:17.000 Now, Merrick Garland has showed his true colors the last six or seven months, ever since becoming Attorney General of the United States.
00:04:26.000 He is, without a doubt, one of the most radical, craven, one of the most dangerous attorney generals in American history.
00:04:36.000 I will even say, in some ways, Merrick Garland is doing things that Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch did not even do when they were Attorney General of the United States.
00:04:45.000 Today, Merrick Garland is doing a hearing in front of the House Judiciary Committee.
00:04:52.000 Merrick Garland is being asked certain questions that he doesn't even know the specifics of.
00:04:56.000 What he does as Attorney General is exactly what Bob Mueller did when he was the appointment, where they have these elderly, kind of elderly old men that have had long resumes and careers, Merrick Garland being a federal judge, Bob Mueller, I think Bob Mueller ran the FBI, didn't he?
00:05:15.000 Something like that.
00:05:17.000 And then they use them as puppets and they manipulate them to wage domestic war on us. 0.78
00:05:23.000 Merrick Garland, you have to understand what you're dealing with here, is the current hired gun of the craven ruling class.
00:05:31.000 Merrick Garland is the placeholder of all of the entrenched interests.
00:05:37.000 Merrick Garland oversees the department that spied on Donald Trump illegally.
00:05:40.000 He oversees the department that had Peter Strzzok and Lisa Page, James Comey.
00:05:45.000 Merrick Garland is the placeholder.
00:05:47.000 Unelected, by the way, no one showed up in huge numbers to go elect Merrick Garland to be able to write letters to say to the National School Board Association, to acknowledge the letter from the National School Board Association, say, you know what?
00:06:00.000 We need to go use the FBI, the Department of Justice, to go after moms and dads that are showing up in big numbers to school board meetings.
00:06:08.000 Now, Republicans are doing their job here by overseeing Merrick Garland.
00:06:12.000 They are conducting oversight.
00:06:14.000 And a lot of this is just words.
00:06:17.000 But Merrick Garland is not used to being challenged like this.
00:06:21.000 I listened to some of the hearing this morning, and I could tell you this is a man who, just like Bob Mueller, is only a placeholder and is being used and manipulated by other treacherous and other malevolent interests to try to weaponize the federal government of the United States.
00:06:43.000 Representative Mike Johnson grilled Attorney General Merrick Garland.
00:06:50.000 Now, this is cut 79.
00:06:51.000 And I'm going to be very honest.
00:06:52.000 We covered this story.
00:06:53.000 We were one of the first stories here on the Charlie Kirk show, our team.
00:06:56.000 We flagged it and we covered this story.
00:06:58.000 We led with it.
00:06:59.000 And I'm very, very proud of that, where we said Attorney General Merrick Garland is conflicted because his family has made money off of Panorama.
00:07:08.000 My friend Adam Ngieski from openthebooks.com has done a phenomenal job of showing the actual extent of that.
00:07:15.000 In fact, the extent is this, is that Merrick Garland's family has contracts with 23,000 public schools and raised $76 million from investors.
00:07:25.000 And they have $27 million in payments from state, school districts, and local boards of education.
00:07:30.000 The Garland family is making tens of millions of dollars every single year through their company Panorama.
00:07:37.000 in support of critical race theory.
00:07:39.000 And I'm going to be honest, I'm surprised and shocked at how much this story has actually caught on because I become so kind of cynical.
00:07:46.000 Of course, the Attorney General is conflicted with business interests.
00:07:50.000 No, this story has legs.
00:07:52.000 And I just want to, I think this is Mike Johnson who did this, but I listened to this on the radio coming in this morning.
00:07:59.000 And I was so blown away by how strong the questioning was of Merrick Garland saying, listen, have you done a conflict of interest check?
00:08:09.000 And Merrick Garland's response was stunning.
00:08:12.000 Let's play cut 79 of Merrick Garland being grilled in front of Congress of how he is making millions of dollars, his family's making millions of dollars while he's deploying the shock troops after moms and dads.
00:08:24.000 Cut 79.
00:08:26.000 Understand that, but did you seek ethics counsel before you issued a letter that directly relates to the financial interest of your family?
00:08:35.000 Yes or no?
00:08:36.000 This memorandum does not relate to the financial interests of anyone.
00:08:41.000 It's a threat.
00:08:41.000 It's against.
00:08:42.000 I take that as a no.
00:08:44.000 Will you, Mr. Attorney General, will you commit to having the appropriate ethics designee review the case and make the results public?
00:08:52.000 This memorandum is aimed at violence and threats of violence.
00:08:55.000 I understand your talking point.
00:08:56.000 You're not answering my question, Mr. Attorney General.
00:08:58.000 With all due respect.
00:09:00.000 And actually, the clip continues.
00:09:01.000 I want to try to play the next one in the next segment.
00:09:04.000 You know what Merrick Garland says?
00:09:05.000 He says, oh, no, no, there's no conflict of interest.
00:09:07.000 That's the point.
00:09:08.000 You're not able to decide whether or not you have a conflict of interest.
00:09:10.000 Remember, Donald Trump had a meal at Trump International Hotel, and they wanted to appoint a special prosecutor.
00:09:16.000 He's getting rich because he has some lunch at the Trump Hotel.
00:09:20.000 Merrick Garland's family is making millions of dollars off a curriculum being implemented in states across the country.
00:09:25.000 And he says, oh, no, no, I don't have a conflict of interest.
00:09:28.000 We need a special prosecutor for this.
00:09:30.000 We need an oversight capacity to say, no, no, no, Merrick Garland, you need to be investigated for how you are trying to chill and suppress speech because why?
00:09:38.000 Because moms and dads and parents want to get Panorama out of the school boards, which your family's making tons of money from.
00:09:45.000 Could you imagine, here's the equivalent.
00:09:47.000 This would be like someone running any one of these major agencies.
00:09:54.000 Let's take a choice agency.
00:09:56.000 Let's say the Federal Trade Commission and their daughter or their son, let's say their son is Mark Zuckerberg.
00:10:04.000 Oh yeah, my son's Mark Zuckerberg, but don't worry.
00:10:06.000 We're going to go break up Facebook.
00:10:09.000 Any sort of ethical investigation from the Department of Justice or from everybody say, no, no, you're conflicted.
00:10:15.000 You remember that Jeff Sessions had to recuse himself because he said something at some rally before, which totally derailed the entire Trump presidency while he was Attorney General?
00:10:26.000 This is worse than that.
00:10:27.000 This is Merrick Garland's daughter and son-in-law that are making millions of dollars off the very thing that is getting grassroots response, and they're implementing it.
00:10:37.000 If you go into Panorama education, the Panorama Education, which his son-in-law started, weird name, Zan Tanner or something, right?
00:10:46.000 They are not only making money off it, they are implementing it.
00:10:49.000 They are the architects.
00:10:50.000 People say, where did critical race theory come in our schools?
00:10:52.000 The Garland family.
00:10:54.000 The Garland family are the ones that developed the curriculum.
00:10:57.000 They're the ones that have implemented it.
00:10:58.000 They're the ones that teach teachers how to teach CRT.
00:11:01.000 They're the ones that put in diversity, equity, inclusion.
00:11:03.000 They're the ones that put social-emotional learning.
00:11:06.000 And so then Merrick Garland realizes his family's business interests and financial dealings are at stake or at risk.
00:11:11.000 So what does he do?
00:11:12.000 He signs a memorandum saying, oh, it's because of violence in schools.
00:11:15.000 No, it's not.
00:11:15.000 Go read the memo.
00:11:16.000 The National School Board Association had disorderly conduct.
00:11:20.000 One of the examples they used was from the father whose daughter was raped, and the rapist was sent to another school, and he got arrested at that school board meeting for speaking out.
00:11:29.000 Go read the actual letter.
00:11:34.000 Are you worried about America's future?
00:11:35.000 Times of trouble are full of reasons to despair, but those who have built and preserved our country did not despair.
00:11:42.000 And if we're going to do our part, we need to draw on the books, the history, and the ideas that gave our forefathers and mothers strength and inspiration.
00:11:49.000 Hillsdale College, the beacon of the North, the last college, was founded in 1844 to teach these things, and it teaches them still today.
00:11:56.000 The great news is that we can study all these things along with Hillsdale College professors right in our home.
00:12:02.000 Through Hillsdale College's free online course, we can study the history of our civilization, the wisdom of ancient and Christian philosophers, the writings of Shakespeare and Mark Twain.
00:12:10.000 We can reacquaint ourselves with our Constitution.
00:12:13.000 We can learn how the Constitution has been undermined, and more importantly, how it can be recovered.
00:12:17.000 I take the Hillsdale online courses every single day.
00:12:20.000 You guys can go to charlie4hillsdale.com and join me in taking intro to Constitution, Constitution 101, the Federalist Papers, an intro to the Progressive Era, Progressive 201 is what it's called.
00:12:31.000 From Genesis to John Locke, the Western tradition.
00:12:34.000 How about how to teach your children Genesis?
00:12:36.000 Look, if you want to know what's going wrong with our country, then you guys have to go to charlie4hillsdale.com and learn about the truth behind Western civilization, behind truth and beauty and goodness.
00:12:48.000 They have a course on Dante's Divine Comedy.
00:12:50.000 I just finished recently the Winston Churchill and Statesmanship course.
00:12:54.000 Every child, every kid, every person, every citizen should take the Winston Churchill and Statesmanship class.
00:13:00.000 I just finished Introduction to Aristotle's Ethics, How to Lead a Good Life.
00:13:04.000 And I'm telling you, I'm almost done, 41% of the way there.
00:13:07.000 Western heritage from Genesis to John Locke.
00:13:09.000 The Genesis story, I'm about to wrap up.
00:13:11.000 The C.S. Lewis course is incredible.
00:13:13.000 The Great American Story, Land of Hope.
00:13:15.000 Every single person, if you're a parent, there's no better investment.
00:13:18.000 Have them go through the Great American Story, A Land of Hope.
00:13:21.000 And also, if you're like, hey, what's the proper way to educate my kids?
00:13:23.000 They have a course on that too.
00:13:24.000 A proper understanding of K-12 education, theory, and practice.
00:13:29.000 They have a new course now, the David Story, Shepherd, Father, and King.
00:13:32.000 They have one on mathematics and logic from Euclid to modern geometry, civil rights in American history, classic children's literature.
00:13:39.000 Also, Congress, how it worked and why it doesn't, the Second World Wars, Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and selected short stories.
00:13:46.000 Literally, if you take every single Hillsdale online course, it's better than most college diplomas out there.
00:13:52.000 I am not kidding.
00:13:53.000 So dive deep into the ideas.
00:13:54.000 Do it with your kids.
00:13:55.000 Maybe you are a college student listening to this.
00:13:57.000 You're like, man, I'm not getting much out of my college experience.
00:14:00.000 Or I'm, here's another thing. 0.99
00:14:01.000 Maybe your college professors are teaching you garbage about Western civilization. 0.94
00:14:06.000 Then counter that by taking your own courses to know the truth and challenge your professors. 0.80
00:14:10.000 They have a great one on the presidency and the constitution, Economics 101, the principle of free market economics.
00:14:16.000 And they have some new ones coming out with Victor Davis Hansen that will blow your socks off.
00:14:20.000 It's charlieforhillsdale.com.
00:14:22.000 Zero cost.
00:14:23.000 It is free.
00:14:24.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.
00:14:25.000 We will save our country when you step up and do something to learn about our history.
00:14:31.000 Do it with me.
00:14:32.000 I take an hour a day minimum to try to learn something new through the Hillsdale online courses.
00:14:39.000 It's charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:14:41.000 Charlie4Hillsdale.com.
00:14:43.000 That's charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:14:48.000 And many people ask the question, they say, how did Merrick Garland become Attorney General?
00:14:52.000 We're going to talk about the Republicans that aided and abetted Merrick Garland to become Attorney General.
00:14:57.000 We're going to name the names of every single Republican that voted for Merrick Garland as he now declared war on moms and dads across the country, amongst many other things that he is doing.
00:15:08.000 But understand that the curriculum of critical race theory through Panorama that the Garland family has made millions of dollars off of.
00:15:16.000 Understand that the curriculum of critical race theory and the entire idea of implementing CRT into our schools is a scheme that profits and benefits highly educated, low-skilled, elderly white people to make millions of dollars off of awful ideas. 0.69
00:15:36.000 You see, Merrick Garland, being a former federal judge, attorney general, he has now understood that because of the racial reckoning that happened after Floyd Apalooza in our country in the summer of 2020, that his family has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to go strike gold.
00:15:54.000 It's the gold rush kind of we struck oil equivalent for the Garland family.
00:16:00.000 They say it's only a short window of time where America is going to want to talk about race all the time.
00:16:05.000 We better get our curriculum in.
00:16:07.000 We better get our education in.
00:16:08.000 They raise money from Zuckerberg.
00:16:08.000 And what do they do?
00:16:11.000 They raise money from all the major technocrats.
00:16:14.000 And understand the corruption of this too, though.
00:16:16.000 And we need a special prosecutor and a special counsel because if you have Zuckerberg all of a sudden granting money to Garland's son-in-law's company, is Zuckerberg and all those people going to be investigated for what they did for the Center for Technology and Civic Life?
00:16:33.000 Do you understand the corruption here?
00:16:35.000 That all of a sudden you invest in the son's company or the son-in-law's company, then they're going to be less likely to be investigated themselves.
00:16:44.000 Also, how about Merrick Garland's wife?
00:16:48.000 Did you know that Merrick Garland's wife was heavily involved and has been heavily involved in trying to stop election audits and getting to the bottom of elections all across the country?
00:17:01.000 And she has been heavily involved in trying to stop the audits.
00:17:06.000 And then what does Merrick Garland do?
00:17:08.000 Merrick Garland comes in with the Attorney General of the United States office and sues for the Georgia voting law, which is the most vanilla voting law you can imagine, comes into Arizona and tries to threaten them and intimidate them to stop doing the Arizona audit.
00:17:23.000 This man is making money off the government that makes Nancy Pelosi look like child's play.
00:17:31.000 Let's get to another sound here of Merrick Garland being questioned by Representative Burgess Owens, a friend of mine and a good man, about parents who speak out against CRT.
00:17:41.000 Garland says he does not believe parents who testify, speak, or argue with, or complain about school boards should be classified as domestic terrorists.
00:17:48.000 And I just have a very simple question, just kind of like Bob Mueller, where they put in these elderly, kind of mentally decaying men in charge of these departments.
00:17:58.000 They always are like, oh, we're looking into it.
00:18:01.000 Does he have any idea what's actually going on in the country?
00:18:03.000 Does he realize the significance of the memo that he sent?
00:18:07.000 Play cut 80.
00:18:09.000 Attorney General Garland, do you agree with the National School Board Association, the parents who attend school board meetings and speak passionately against inclusion of divisive programs like critical race theory should be characterized as domestic terrorists?
00:18:24.000 I do not believe that parents who testify, speak, argue with, complain about school boards and schools should be classified as domestic terrorists or any kind of criminals.
00:18:37.000 Then why are you sending that letter, Merrick Garland?
00:18:39.000 Why are you saying we need a new committee of using the Patriot Act, Department of Homeland Security?
00:18:44.000 We need to get the FBI involved.
00:18:46.000 And so then he says, oh, it's about violence at school board meetings.
00:18:48.000 Go read the National School Board Association letter.
00:18:51.000 You go read the National School Board Association letter.
00:18:53.000 You know who's mentioned?
00:18:54.000 We are, Turning Point USA for a school board watch list.
00:18:58.000 So, our school board watch list at Turning Point USA, according to the National School Board Association, somehow gave warrant to allow the Attorney General of the United States to say, we need to go and invoke the Patriot Act.
00:19:10.000 So, what if they're trying to bring dirty bombs across the southern border?
00:19:10.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:19:13.000 And this goes to a theme we've been kind of hitting on here in our country in our show and what's happening in our country.
00:19:20.000 You waltz across the southern border, you get preference, you get elevated, you get priority.
00:19:25.000 But if you were born here and you're someone who loves the country, you're someone who's a conservative, no, they're going to use the apparatus of government to penalize you, to investigate you, to spy on you.
00:19:38.000 He's the top law enforcement officer of the country.
00:19:40.000 Could you imagine an Attorney General of the United States doing this under any other president?
00:19:46.000 We're going to keep on getting into this, but I want to get even deeper with all of you about who Merrick Garland represents, the type of individual he is.
00:19:55.000 He's a technocrat, he's an oligarch, and he's a perfect personification of the place we are right now in America.
00:20:04.000 Did you know that if you shop at Nike, they turn around and give your hard-earned dollars to pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and the Population Council?
00:20:12.000 Did you know that Airbnb gave $500,000 to the Marxist Black Lives Matter organization?
00:20:17.000 Your first vote is at the ballot box, but that isn't enough to defend our traditional Judeo-Christian values.
00:20:23.000 Left-wing corporations are subverting our democracy by taking money from conservative customers and giving it to radical organizations that support abortion, gun control, and critical race theory.
00:20:34.000 You have another vote, a second vote at the checkout line.

00:21:36.000 Where does Barbara Streison live? 0.83
00:21:38.000 Or where did she once live?
00:21:40.000 Let's say, Charlie, what does that have to do with anything?
00:21:41.000 Barbara Streison has a big house or hat. 1.00
00:21:44.000 I don't know if she still lives there.
00:21:47.000 And Barbara Streison was very upset that a certain photographer who wanted to try and catalog the erosion of the California coastline happened to photograph Barbara Streison's home.
00:22:02.000 Barbara Streison did everything she possibly could to try to remove this.
00:22:06.000 Barbara Streisand was very upset that anyone would dare photograph her home.
00:22:12.000 So this was put on the internet, and Barbara Streison found out that her house was photographed.
00:22:19.000 She said this was a violation of privacy.
00:22:22.000 Now, mind you, this was literally just some environmentalist that was taking pictures of the coastline.
00:22:28.000 So Barbara Streisand realized this, and up until she decided to do something about it, the image was downloaded six times.
00:22:37.000 Six people were interested in her home.
00:22:40.000 But once she filed a lawsuit to try to prevent anyone from finding out where the house was, the picture became international news and was downloaded 420,000 times in the following month.
00:22:56.000 The lawsuit was eventually dismissed because there really is no violation of privacy to photograph what you can see in a helicopter.
00:23:05.000 This started something known as the Streisand effect. 0.97
00:23:09.000 It's a phenomenon that occurs when an attempt to hide, remove, or censor information has the unintended consequence of increasing awareness of that information, often via the internet.
00:23:23.000 This is exactly what is happening right now with Merrick Garland and the National School Board Association.
00:23:30.000 In an attempt to censor moms and dads to show up to the school board meeting, just like how Barbara Streison wanted to censor her home from being on the internet where only six people went and saw it, as a result of that, 1.00
00:23:44.000 and the National School Board Association and Merrick Garland going after the grassroots push of parents that have started to care about what's happening to their kids' education, we are now seeing more people talk about the National School Board Association story than ever before.
00:24:03.000 I want to play a tape here of Cut 83, Representative Chip Roy, who started to press Attorney General Merrick Garland on the Loudoun County sexual assault scandal.
00:24:14.000 So Merrick Garland is being called to testify in front of Congress.
00:24:19.000 And what is every Republican asking him about?
00:24:22.000 School board, school board, school board, school board, school boards.
00:24:24.000 The thing that is winning 60, 70, 80% of independent voters of how our schools have become radical indoctrination camps.
00:24:31.000 You think that's what Merrick Garland really wants to talk about?
00:24:35.000 Merrick Garland and the Democrats are being put on defense saying, well, yeah, of course we read the letter from the National School Board Association.
00:24:42.000 In an attempt to censor the issue, they've made it bigger than ever before.
00:24:46.000 In an attempt to cover it up and suppress the idea that our education system has become that of the third world, it is now all of a sudden the number one issue in Loudoun County, Virginia, the number one issue in Scottsdale, Arizona, the number one issue for swing voters is the decay of our government-run schools.
00:25:04.000 Let's play Cut 83.
00:25:06.000 Do you agree with Loudoun parents who said it is not okay to allow a child that has been charged with a rape to go back into a school in that public school system?
00:25:14.000 Again, I don't know any of the facts of this case, but the way you put it, it certainly sounds like I would agree with you.
00:25:21.000 But I don't know the facts of the case.
00:25:22.000 Is the FBI or the Department of Justice investigating the Loudoun School Board for violating civil rights or under authority of, say, the Violence Against Women Act?
00:25:31.000 I don't believe so, but I don't know the answer to that.
00:25:34.000 Well, I don't know what's going on.
00:25:35.000 It's not like I'm the Attorney General of the United States.
00:25:38.000 So let me get this straight.
00:25:39.000 You're not using the Attorney, the Attorney General's Office and Department of Justice to go after civil rights violations.
00:25:46.000 But according to some letter that you get from the National School Board Association of America, that then warrants federal involvement.
00:25:55.000 Let's play Cut 81.
00:25:57.000 And again, this is the greatest example of the more you try to cover something up, the more you try to censor it, the bigger it gets.
00:26:04.000 Democrats very well could have let the school board issue continue to grow and kind of keep it at bay and kind of downplay it.
00:26:11.000 But they can't help themselves because within a liberal is an authoritarian Mussolini-style tyrant waiting and screaming to get out.
00:26:18.000 They can't help themselves.
00:26:20.000 And they get worried.
00:26:21.000 Why are the people getting so animated?
00:26:24.000 Why won't they just stay in their corner and say, we want Liz Cheney back? 1.00
00:26:27.000 Please, please make Mitt Romney the head of our party.
00:26:30.000 Instead, Merrick Garland made a fatal error.
00:26:34.000 The deep state ruling class and the craven cartel of people running our country, they made a huge strategic mistake.
00:26:42.000 They are now treating moms and dads like ISIS.
00:26:48.000 Now, moms and dads across the country, they're not just tolerating it, but guess what?
00:26:54.000 You now just validated what they're doing to such a great extent, they want to do it more.
00:27:00.000 Let's play cut 81.
00:27:02.000 Jim Jordan totally cross-examining Merrick Garland.
00:27:06.000 Play cut 81.
00:27:08.000 Jefferson said once, Tyranny is when the people fear the government.
00:27:12.000 We're there.
00:27:14.000 Sadly, we are there.
00:27:15.000 But I don't think, I don't think the good people, I don't think the good people of this great country are going to cower and hide.
00:27:23.000 I think your memo, Mr. Attorney General, was the last straw.
00:27:26.000 I think it was the catalyst for a great awakening that is just getting started.
00:27:30.000 Pilots at Southwest Airlines, the Chicago Police Union, parents at school board meetings.
00:27:35.000 Americans are pushing back because Americans value freedom.
00:27:40.000 Jim Jordan's one of the good guys.
00:27:41.000 He gets it.
00:27:42.000 He understands the base.
00:27:43.000 He sees what's going on.
00:27:46.000 I want to talk here.
00:27:48.000 Let's go to 85.
00:27:51.000 If you read the National School Board Association letter that I have here, not only does it wildly misrepresent what's happening at the school boards, but this is written almost like a country demanding intervention from the United States for foreign aid or for military support.
00:28:12.000 This letter by the National School Board Association feels like I'm reading a letter by the Syrian rebels.
00:28:18.000 Dear Joe Biden, please give us arms and assistance to help us fight Bashar al-Assad.
00:28:24.000 That's how this letter is written.
00:28:25.000 This letter is written as if it's South Vietnam against the Viet Cong or it's the Kurds trying to fight ISIS.
00:28:35.000 Dear Joe Biden, here's all the different things.
00:28:37.000 Can you please send us arms and support?
00:28:41.000 And so you go to the actual specifics of the letter.
00:28:44.000 Number 20, Turning Point USA project launches project targeting school board members.
00:28:49.000 Yeah, targeting.
00:28:50.000 You mean exposing the school board members for mandating masks and calling children genocidal maniacs for not wearing school masks?
00:28:57.000 Yes, we will continue to do that.
00:28:59.000 SchoolboardWatchlist.org.
00:29:02.000 This one right here.
00:29:03.000 Beaver Dam school board member resigns citing safety concerns for family.
00:29:07.000 Why is that a federal issue?
00:29:09.000 How about this one?
00:29:11.000 Student mocked at school board meeting after sharing that his grandmother died of COVID-19.
00:29:17.000 That warrants federal involvement because someone made an insensitive joke?
00:29:22.000 No, let me just be clear.
00:29:24.000 This is now the threshold to use the Patriot Act because a child gets mocked.
00:29:31.000 I'm not minimizing bullying.
00:29:32.000 Do I think the FBI should be involved in bullying policing?
00:29:37.000 How about this one?
00:29:40.000 National School Board Association, disturbing.
00:29:44.000 Washington school board member receives threats for masks in schools.
00:29:51.000 How about this one?
00:29:52.000 This is, and by the way, it's not like they're planning pipe bombs in the school board meetings.
00:29:55.000 It's like, oh, yeah, you know, they tried to blow up three school board meetings.
00:29:59.000 Of course not.
00:30:00.000 Where is there even remotely a federal crime that's involved in any of this?
00:30:06.000 And by the way, it's no wonder that our intelligence agencies were shocked when China, by the way, just they just tested a hypersonic missile.
00:30:15.000 And they're like, oh, we had no idea.
00:30:17.000 Yeah, it's because you're too busy worrying about, oh, yeah, this is the other one.
00:30:21.000 Editorial.
00:30:22.000 This is an editorial.
00:30:22.000 In the National School Board Association letter.
00:30:25.000 Editorial.
00:30:26.000 Mob's actions at school board meeting, unacceptable.
00:30:30.000 You see that?
00:30:31.000 It's unacceptable.
00:30:32.000 Let's use the Patriot Act.
00:30:34.000 And guess what?
00:30:35.000 Merrick Garland just admitted it's this letter that we're going through, which is why he's willing to use the Patriot Act and the FBI to come after you.
00:30:43.000 Play tape.
00:30:44.000 So I read the letter, and we have been seeing over time threats.
00:30:49.000 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:30:50.000 I didn't ask you.
00:30:51.000 So you read the letter.
00:30:52.000 That's your source.
00:30:53.000 So let me be clear.
00:30:55.000 This is not a prosecution or an is there some study, some effort, some investigation someone did that said there's been a disturbing uptake, or you just take the words of the National School Board Association.
00:31:04.000 When the National School Board Association, which represents thousands of school boards and school board members, says that there are these kind of threats.
00:31:12.000 He just admitted it's this letter.
00:31:13.000 Let's read more about this letter.
00:31:15.000 Citation: Protesters disrupt unified school board meeting, causing its adjournment.
00:31:20.000 Is that a federal crime to speak out?
00:31:22.000 How about number five?
00:31:23.000 Sarasota school board meeting may limit public input after some meetings get disorderly.
00:31:28.000 Disorderly is what Merrick Garland says, well, I read the letter.
00:31:32.000 Number six, anti-mass crowd disrupts Gwinnett school board meeting.
00:31:37.000 Bring in the FBI.
00:31:39.000 It's not like, I don't know, they're burning down cities or trying to burn down a federal courthouse.
00:31:46.000 How about this one?
00:31:47.000 School board meeting turns contentious over COVID-19 policies.
00:31:50.000 And you might be saying, Charlie, what are you reading?
00:31:52.000 I'm reading what Merrick Garland said inspired him to use the Patriot Act.
00:31:58.000 How about this one?
00:31:59.000 Norfolk school officials police monitoring threats made towards Norville schools, Norview schools.
00:32:06.000 Governor Roy Cooper addresses threats of bullying at school board meetings over mask requirements.
00:32:11.000 Yeah, bullying.
00:32:11.000 So just so you understand the new threshold, bullying and people saying mean things now means that you get to use the intelligence apparatus to go after people you don't like.
00:32:25.000 Boy, if that's the new threshold, I got a long list of people.
00:32:34.000 How about this one?
00:32:35.000 Mendon Mann arrested following disruption at Unity school board meeting.
00:32:41.000 How about this one?
00:32:42.000 Nazi salute, insult hurled at chaotic Birmingham schools.
00:32:46.000 Now, here's the interesting thing: this wasn't a pro-Nazi thing.
00:32:49.000 They were saying the school board were Nazis.
00:32:52.000 Grand Led school board goes into recess due to public disruption.
00:32:58.000 Couple more.
00:33:00.000 There are all these citations.
00:33:01.000 The letter is then signed by the president of the National School Board Association, which is a major Democrat donor.
00:33:06.000 It's a major public interest of the left.
00:33:08.000 And Merrick Garland says, yeah, the letter is why I did it.
00:33:11.000 There is no evidence.
00:33:12.000 We said, well, it's not a prosecution.
00:33:14.000 I mean, come on.
00:33:14.000 It's not like you should be worried about anything unless you should be worried about it because I'm in charge.
00:33:18.000 I'm the attorney general.
00:33:20.000 By trying to suppress and chill speech, they have made this issue bigger than ever before.
00:33:26.000 Merrick Garland, you could see in the whole testimony, he was nervous, he was anxious, he was not confident, paranoid.
00:33:34.000 He realizes that he has made the school board issue 10 times bigger than ever before.
00:33:40.000 He realizes that now all of a sudden, this is the defining issue alongside COVID tyranny, open borders, all that other stuff.
00:33:46.000 You're not going to be able to declare war on the fellow citizens National School Board Association.
00:33:51.000 We're rising up.
00:33:52.000 We're just getting started.

00:34:58.000 Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
00:34:59.000 Attorney General Garland, thank you for your service to the United States of America, which is a point of special pride for those of us who live in Maryland's 8th congressional district.
00:35:09.000 Right-wing violence is now a lethal threat to American democracy.
00:35:14.000 It came to the Capitol when QAnon followers, 3%ers, oath keepers, area nations, militiamen stormed the Capitol of the United States in the worst assault on the Capitol since the War of 1812, injuring more than 140 police officers, breaking their noses, breaking their necks, breaking their vertebrae, taking their fingers, causing traumatic brain injury, causing post-traumatic stress syndrome. 0.98
00:35:44.000 And now, with all of the whitewashing by Donald Trump, who lied and said that his mob was hugging and kissing the officers, and by his cult-like followers, like Representative Clyde,
00:35:59.000 who said that this was more akin to a tourist visit, this permission for violence has given license to the darkest impulses in right-wing politics and given rise to conspiracy theory-driven mob violence, not just at state capitals like we saw in Lansing, Michigan, which was a dress rehearsal for the January 6th attack, but also in schools and at school boards across the country.
00:36:26.000 Here's some headlines from across the country that tell the story.
00:36:31.000 School Boards Association reaches out to FBI for help as threats, violence hit meetings.
00:36:38.000 Loudoun County board members have faced death threats.
00:36:41.000 Prince William meetings have broken down with people. 0.95
00:36:44.000 That guy is one of the most dishonest people.
00:36:46.000 And you read the actual letter from the National School Board Association, Jamie Raskin or whatever. 0.89
00:36:51.000 And I just wanted to play that for a second, just so you can understand how the Democrats are just flat out lying.
00:36:58.000 Read the letter itself.
00:36:59.000 Bullying, intimidation, mean words.
00:37:04.000 There's a lot of different things happening, but I just want to understand, I want you to understand that Merrick Garland on the hot seat, none of this has gone the way that he thought.
00:37:15.000 This is the disconnect.
00:37:17.000 And here's why we are going to win, is that Merrick Garland in his chauffeured cars with his major staff in his ivory tower overseeing the Attorney General's office, Department of Justice, in the Kingdom of Washington, D.C., he underestimated how organic, how authentic, how grassroots, how bottom-up this movement is.
00:37:43.000 They totally underestimated how this movement of parents rising up was not some sort of astro-turf thing you could put in its place.
00:37:55.000 That the National School Board Association of America, working in collusion, working in coordination with Merrick Garland and the Attorney General of the United States by trying to suppress it and trying to hide it into the corner, they have only added fuel to the fire.
00:38:11.000 They have contributed to a force multiplier of a grassroots movement to take back our education system.
00:38:19.000 It's gaining in momentum.
00:38:21.000 The more stress and the more focus they put on it to try to stop it, the bigger it gets.
00:38:29.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:38:30.000 Get involved with Turning Point USA today at tpusa.com.
00:38:33.000 That's tpusa.com.
00:38:35.000 And we'll see you at AmericaFest at tpusa.com/slash A-M-F-E-S-T.
