The Charlie Kirk Show - Charlie Kirk, Honored and Remembered by His Friends

00:00:25.000 Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Pastor Rob McCoy.

00:00:38.000 Good morning, everybody.

00:00:41.000 Thank you for coming out to honor Charlie Kirk.

00:00:43.000 God bless all of you and all of you tuning in online around the world.

00:00:49.000 I know you're all wondering who is he and why is he here?

00:00:52.000 And I'm asking myself the same question.

00:00:55.000 Charlie Kirk called me his pastor.

00:00:59.000 I called him my friend.

00:01:02.000 I was with Charlie about a little over two weeks ago in Korea as he was supporting the persecuted Christians over there as they're raiding churches and imprisoning pastors.

00:01:16.000 And he spoke to the youth there that now are chanting on the streets, I am Charlie Kirk standing for freedom across that country.

00:01:32.000 In a conversation with Charlie in the green room in Korea, he said something to me that he'd said a number of times.

00:01:39.000 He said, he kept calling me his pastor.

00:01:42.000 And I stopped him.

00:01:43.000 I said, Charlie, since the president's gotten elected, your stock has risen through the stratosphere.

00:01:50.000 And I don't see much of you.

00:01:51.000 I mean, he wasn't a very good congregant.

00:01:53.000 He was on the road 320 days a year.

00:01:59.000 But he said, Rob, not only are you my pastor, but you're America's pastor.

00:02:05.000 And I said, Charlie, if we were at a tabling event on a campus where you had the table said, prove me wrong, I'd win.

00:02:14.000 And he looked at me with that sheepish grin that he always has.

00:02:20.000 Doggone it if he wasn't right.

00:02:22.000 I mean, I wasn't America's pastor two minutes ago, and I won't be after this.

00:02:26.000 But for right now, he proved me wrong.

00:02:40.000 In a moment, you're going to hear from the most powerful political people in the free world.

00:02:50.000 You're going to hear from the who's who.

00:02:53.000 And they're going to assemble in this place to talk about what Charlie Kirk did in 31 years on this earth.

00:03:02.000 He had more lifetimes in 31 years than all of us have in the entirety of our own.

00:03:10.000 And as I was thinking about that, to recount all that he's accomplished in 31 years is quite a feat.

00:03:18.000 I mean, I was just telling the turning point staff as I walked in here, everyone is worried that the turning point isn't going to be successful.

00:03:30.000 And I looked at each and every one of them.

00:03:32.000 And for those of you who are negative, without Charlie Kirk's presence, they pulled off the largest event in turning point history.

00:03:44.000 Let's thank them.

00:03:50.000 Turning Point is alive and well.

00:04:07.000 All right.

00:04:11.000 I appreciate that, but you're taking my time here.

00:04:14.000 Sit down.

00:04:17.000 I want to do two things, and then I want to do what I've been called to do.

00:04:21.000 First of all, I was thinking of Abraham Lincoln when I was reflecting on Erica and their two children, and for Charlie's parents and his sister.

00:04:34.000 Abraham Lincoln said to Mrs. Bixby when she had lost sons in the Civil War, he wrote these words, I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming.

00:04:55.000 We can't bring him back, but we thank you for raising him.

00:04:59.000 We thank you for loving him.

00:05:01.000 Erica, for being the strength in his life.

00:05:06.000 And we pray for this family.

00:05:07.000 We ask God's comfort and peace upon you in Jesus' name.

00:05:10.000 Amen.

00:05:19.000 Now my responsibility entrusted to be by my friend and his wife.

00:05:25.000 You're going to hear of what Charlie did, but I'm here today to tell you the why in what he did.

00:05:32.000 The why brought him the courage.

00:05:35.000 The why brought him the wisdom and the strength.

00:05:39.000 The why is the one that Charlie wanted to welcome as the guest of honor.

00:05:49.000 The guest of honor, his resume is long.

00:05:53.000 He's the king of glory.

00:05:56.000 He's the prince of peace.

00:05:58.000 He's the savior of the world.

00:06:01.000 He's the living God.

00:06:03.000 He's the God of all mercy and grace.

00:06:07.000 The total embodiment of love.

00:06:09.000 The total embodiment of truth.

00:06:12.000 And he's here today to call his children back to him.

00:06:22.000 From the thin veil of heaven, Charlie declares to all earthly powers and principalities who will gather here.

00:06:31.000 They have come into the presence of the God of all creation.

00:06:37.000 Charlie wanted his Savior to be the guest of honor.

00:06:41.000 He wanted all of you to receive this gift from him, the why and what he did.

00:06:46.000 Charlie was never afraid because he knew his life was secure in the hand of God.

00:06:56.000 Jesus left the glory of heaven's throne for the humiliation of an earthly cross. 0.98

00:07:03.000 He was fully tempted, yet was without sin.

00:07:06.000 For those of you who struggle with the word sin, it's real simple.

00:07:11.000 It's an archer's term.

00:07:13.000 Where the bullseye is and where the arrow lands, that's called the sin distance, how far you've fallen from perfection.

00:07:19.000 And there are none righteous, no, not one.

00:07:21.000 We've all missed the mark, the bullseye.

00:07:25.000 And we try to get to God by our efforts, but there is no effort that will bring us back into the presence of a righteous God.

00:07:33.000 You see, the wages of sin is death.

00:07:36.000 Charlie knew this, and at an early age, he entrusted his life to the Savior of the world.

00:07:43.000 Jesus came to this earth, was tempted in all ways, yet was without sin, was crucified upon a cross.

00:07:49.000 His blood was poured out because blood must be shed for the remission of sins.

00:07:54.000 And his death upon that cross was sufficient for all the world's sins, but only efficient for those who, like Charlie, would receive him as their Savior.

00:08:06.000 Jesus has come to seek and save that which is lost.

00:08:11.000 And I would say this to all of you: the Lord loves you, he wants to save you, he wants to give you a new life.

00:08:26.000 He wants to cover the multitude of your sins by the blood he shed upon the cross.

00:08:32.000 The Bible says, if you believe in your heart and you confess with your tongue, Jesus is Lord, you will be saved to the glory of the Father.

00:08:39.000 You see, Charlie looked at politics as an on-ramp to Jesus.

00:08:43.000 He knew if he could get all of you rowing in the streams of liberty, you'd come to its source, and that's the Lord.

00:08:59.000 In the time I have remaining, I'm going to ask all who profess Christ as their Savior to remain seated.

00:09:09.000 The Bible says, if you profess me before man, I'll profess you before my Father in heaven.

00:09:13.000 It requires an act of faith.

00:09:15.000 You stand.

00:09:17.000 That's what Charlie did every day on campus with death threats.

00:09:19.000 He stood because he knew in whom he had trusted.

00:09:24.000 And he wants to give you the gift of the why and what he did, and that is his Savior Jesus.

00:09:29.000 While believers are seated, if there's any in this room and across the globe that would desire to receive Jesus as their Savior, as Charlie did as a young man, and now is in the presence of his Savior, I'm going to ask you to put action to your faith.

00:09:48.000 And I'd ask you to stand right now to receive the Lord.

00:09:51.000 Don't be ashamed.

00:09:52.000 Stand.

00:09:53.000 Amen.

00:10:04.000 The Bible says, the Bible says that when one sinner gives their heart to the Lord, the angels in heaven rejoice.

00:10:18.000 And I got to tell you, there's one up there right now, Charlie Kirk.

00:10:21.000 He's stoked and he's excited about your commitment to his Savior.

00:10:32.000 For this remaining moment, if you've given your heart to the Lord and someone is seated next to you, I want that person who's a believer to stand and pray with you.

00:10:41.000 And please, up on the screen, I want you to take a picture of this QR code.

00:10:46.000 We are going to give you everything you need to walk this walk with Christ.

00:10:50.000 Faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God.

00:10:53.000 And it's time to get into a Bible-believing church.

00:10:56.000 And pastors, if you didn't want to give Charlie Kirk the time of day, these folks are going to be showing up at your church and they're there because of his life.

00:11:03.000 God bless you and may the Lord keep you.

00:11:14.000 Please welcome to the stage, Rebecca Dunn.

00:11:29.000 Charlie Kirk was scheduled to speak at my husband's upcoming memorial.

00:11:38.000 Instead, I am here speaking at Charlie's memorial.

00:11:45.000 It means a lot to share my story.

00:11:49.000 Almost 12 years ago, I met this bright young man filled with optimism about his plan to reach young people.

00:12:01.000 I was so impressed that I invited him to come to our home and tell my husband and me more about his organization.

00:12:10.000 That young man, of course, was Charlie Kirk, and his organization was Turning Point USA.

00:12:27.000 Charlie told us how he wanted to start two chapters in North Florida.

00:12:33.000 When asked how much money it would take, he told us he thought it would take about $50,000.

00:12:41.000 Not knowing anything about this young man, except that he sounded impressive, we told him that if he could raise the first half, we would give him the remaining $25,000.

00:12:59.000 Two days later, Charlie called to say that he had raised the money.

00:13:10.000 He was not in his hometown.

00:13:22.000 He was not even in his home state.

00:13:26.000 He was 20 years old, and yet he met our challenge.

00:13:33.000 I laughed and I told him, I said, well, Charlie, I guess we owe you a check.

00:13:43.000 That was Charlie Kirk's first challenge grant.

00:13:49.000 After that initial grant, we followed suit with multiple challenge grants, each one larger than the previous, eventually growing into the millions.

00:14:05.000 In the early days, Charlie felt like a son to me.

00:14:11.000 More recently, I was the one looking up to him.

00:14:17.000 Charlie never disappointed.

00:14:20.000 He met every challenge with optimism and grit.

00:14:26.000 Today, I feel like Charlie is challenging us.

00:14:34.000 Will we meet his challenge to fight for freedom, for family, for faith?

00:14:43.000 More importantly, will we do this the way that Charlie did with a heart that loves God?

00:14:54.000 Before you answer that question, I would like to share something else with you.

00:15:00.000 Shortly before I met Charlie, I had become very discouraged about the atmosphere in our country.

00:15:08.000 I even suggested to my husband that maybe we should stop trying.

00:15:15.000 It seemed that the money and time we were giving to freedom causes did not seem to be making a difference.

00:15:23.000 Bill asked me to read an article by Larry Reed.

00:15:29.000 The essence of the article said this.

00:15:32.000 If we truly believed in freedom, we must never stop trying to preserve it.

00:15:41.000 We had a moral obligation to fight for freedom.

00:15:47.000 And as long as there is a breath in our bodies, we must fight.

00:16:03.000 By encountering Charlie, we met a true freedom fighter.

00:16:10.000 Today, there is no doubt that Charlie Kirk fought for freedom with the last breath in his body.

00:16:23.000 Thank you, Charlie Kirk, and thank you to everyone who will not stop fighting.

00:16:35.000 To all who will meet the challenge Charlie gave us.

00:16:40.000 Thank you.

00:16:52.000 Please welcome to the stage, Larry Arnn.

00:17:09.000 Good morning.

00:17:11.000 We had the pastor.

00:17:12.000 I'm the school teacher.

00:17:14.000 I have one short story to tell you about Charlie Kirk, my friend.

00:17:19.000 He became a friend of mine because I interrogated him one time.

00:17:23.000 19-year-olds are my specialty.

00:17:26.000 I asked him some questions he couldn't answer.

00:17:29.000 And he was already becoming famous.

00:17:32.000 And I noticed his reaction.

00:17:33.000 He said, what should I do?

00:17:35.000 And I said, well, you have to suffer.

00:17:37.000 If you want to grow, you have to suffer.

00:17:40.000 Hard to learn.

00:17:42.000 Into the night.

00:17:43.000 Crackle dawn in the morning.

00:17:46.000 Start with the Bible.

00:17:48.000 Read the classics.

00:17:50.000 Study the founding of America.

00:17:53.000 In those places, you will find that there's a ladder that reaches up toward God.

00:17:59.000 And at the bottom of it is the ordinary good things that are around us everywhere.

00:18:04.000 If we can call them by their names, they have being.

00:18:09.000 And the beings of the good things are figments of God.

00:18:13.000 You will find that article in Aristotle.

00:18:16.000 You will find it in the Bible.

00:18:18.000 You will find it in Madison and Jefferson.

00:18:22.000 How do I learn that?

00:18:24.000 I said, you have to suffer.

00:18:24.000 He said.

00:18:27.000 You have to study.

00:18:28.000 You have to think.

00:18:30.000 I thought I'd never hear from him again.

00:18:33.000 Within a month, he got hold of my cell phone number and he texted me a copy of a certificate of completion of a Hillsdale College online course.

00:18:45.000 He would go on to do that 31 times.

00:18:49.000 I keep a list in my head of the six or eight young people, and I'm very privileged I get to know many inspiring young people who are the best I ever saw.

00:19:02.000 Charlie is the only one who was never a full-time student at Hillsdale College who was on that list.

00:19:08.000 We will miss him dearly.

00:19:14.000 He can't be replaced.

00:19:17.000 You know, a good thing is a thing that has being.

00:19:22.000 An assassin is not a thing that has being.

00:19:27.000 The assassin must give up his humanity to destroy something that has being.

00:19:33.000 Charlie lives on. 0.94

00:19:37.000 The assassin will die.

00:19:51.000 My wife, who's here with me today, and I have set up a scholarship in the hope that Charlie's children will go to a good college.

00:20:04.000 I have one in mind.

00:20:11.000 And this May the 9th, Erica doesn't know this yet, we are going to give Charlie and Erica the greatest respect a college can give, an honorary degree.

00:20:36.000 Charlie, you see, has suffered enough.

00:20:41.000 He's gone to the Lord.

00:20:43.000 He deserves his reward.

00:20:45.000 Thank you.

00:21:26.000 Please welcome Mikey McCoy, Stacey Sheridan, Tyler Boyer, and Justin Strife.

00:21:45.000 Hello, everyone.

00:21:46.000 My name is Mikey McCoy.

00:21:49.000 I had the unique honor, blessing, and privilege of a lifetime to not only call Charlie a precious friend, mentor, but to travel with him literally everywhere.

00:22:02.000 The first time I met Charlie was when I was driving him and his then-girlfriend Erica to the airport after he had spoken at my father's church.

00:22:10.000 The entire car ride, he was grilling me on Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, American history.

00:22:16.000 At the end, he said, don't go to college.

00:22:19.000 Come work for me instead.

00:22:22.000 At 18, I canceled my college plans, moved to Arizona.

00:22:27.000 My life was forever changed by Charlie.

00:22:30.000 All of us in this room have that in common.

00:22:34.000 My first day working at Turning Point, I met an incredible girl who Charlie was interviewing on his podcast, sharing the story of her family who had survived a totalitarian regime, whose grandfather was imprisoned in the gulags for 10 years for preaching the gospel.

00:22:54.000 Elizabeth and I were married a year later.

00:22:57.000 Thank you, Charlie.

00:23:05.000 When Charlie would speak on college campuses, he'd often wear T-shirts with inspiring taglines like, Here I am.

00:23:14.000 Never surrender.

00:23:17.000 Freedom.

00:23:19.000 But as I've watched back so many clips these past 11 days, my favorite and so often warned by him was live free.

00:23:29.000 11 days ago, my friend was martyred for using his voice to engage in peaceful dialogue.

00:23:37.000 Charlie's assassin thought that he could steal and silence his voice by putting a bullet in his neck.

00:23:43.000 In the words of Soren Kiergaard, the tyrant dies and his rule is over.

00:23:49.000 The martyr dies and his rule has just begun.

00:24:16.000 Charlie was not silenced.

00:24:19.000 His movement is only beginning.

00:24:22.000 The voices of millions globally have been awakened, furthering his cause and mission far beyond anyone's comprehension.

00:24:31.000 We won't cower in fear.

00:24:33.000 We will never surrender.

00:24:36.000 We are resolved to live free from lies and seek out what is true.

00:24:41.000 We will respectfully, boldly challenge what is accepted by culture in order to seek out what is true and acceptable to God Almighty alone.

00:25:03.000 To everyone here today, live free.

00:25:08.000 True freedom is not found in doing whatever we want, but pursuing Christ in doing what is right.

00:25:16.000 In Charlie's words, get married.

00:25:20.000 Have more children than you can afford.

00:25:22.000 Build a legacy.

00:25:23.000 Pass down your values.

00:25:25.000 Pursue the eternal.

00:25:26.000 Seek true joy.

00:25:29.000 Charlie led by example.

00:25:32.000 It's not only seen in the incredible wife, Erica Kirk, his two beautiful children, the legacy he built, his values, his love of God, and true joy he found in his Savior, Jesus Christ, but in countless people, especially young people like Elizabeth and I, whose very lives are the fruit of Charlie's example of faithfulness.

00:25:55.000 Charlie, it was the honor of my life to serve you as you serve Jesus.

00:26:03.000 And now we will all continue to serve you as we continue to serve Jesus.

00:26:10.000 Thank you so much.

00:26:11.000 I love you, Charlie.

00:26:13.000 I can't wait to see you again.

00:26:15.000 God bless Erica Kirk, CEO and chair of Turning Point USA, the Kirk family, and God bless America.

00:26:23.000 Oh, my goodness.

00:26:38.000 Charlie's having some serious heavenly FOMO right now.

00:26:42.000 Look at this.

00:26:43.000 You have no idea how much Charlie Kirk wants a bullhorn down here right now.

00:26:48.000 He always said to me, if we could just figure out how to bring the Holy Spirit into a Trump rally, I think you've done it.

00:27:02.000 My name is Tyler Boyer.

00:27:03.000 I was the...

00:27:04.000 I was the CEO of Charing Point USA and now the CEO of Turning Point Action.

00:27:09.000 You may know me from the Charlie Kirk show or our weekly podcast, Thought Crime, with Charlie, Jack, Blake, and Andrew, but I'm also the longest tenured employee at Turning Point.

00:27:20.000 I met my friend Charlie in 2014.

00:27:23.000 We connected when Turning Point USA was just in its infancy, sharing a vision for what the conservative movement should be.

00:27:31.000 Charlie was just a kid then.

00:27:33.000 I was a little older.

00:27:35.000 We had a lot in common.

00:27:37.000 I didn't like rhinos.

00:27:39.000 He didn't like rhinos.

00:27:42.000 I was the youngest guy at tea party meetings.

00:27:45.000 He was the youngest guy at tea party meetings.

00:27:49.000 Charlie didn't go to college.

00:27:51.000 I went to ASU, so I basically didn't go to college.

00:28:01.000 You're welcome, Dr. Crow.

00:28:03.000 We went to work every day on a 24-hour clock.

00:28:06.000 When Charlie turned 21, he didn't have a home.

00:28:09.000 Turning Point USA was in his first year of raising real money.

00:28:14.000 He was just a kid to me, but donors would ask him where he lived, and he took personal offense to the suggestion he still lived in his parents' basement.

00:28:23.000 Although his parents probably wanted him to be there all the time.

00:28:28.000 He was a grown 21-year-old man, after all.

00:28:30.000 He was rarely home in Chicago.

00:28:32.000 He lived on a plane and zipped back and forth as Turning Point USA became his life.

00:28:37.000 All his personal mail came to a little detached garage at 217 and a half Illinois Street, whereas Charlie would constantly remind you, like every good startup, Turning Point USA was founded.

00:28:49.000 So anyway, as we worked 24-7, he would tell every supporter of ours between me and him, we were a team that was never off the clock.

00:28:57.000 Full coverage.

00:28:59.000 I would usually stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning working on the next big Turning Point USA project and text Charlie reports of what our team that day had accomplished.

00:29:08.000 It was like this every day.

00:29:09.000 Work, report, and wait to see my text messages to Charlie flip from delivered to red as soon as he woke up on the East Coast so we can be firing away feedback, thoughts, and a flurry of brilliant Charlie Kirk ideas as soon as he opened his eyes.

00:29:24.000 I'm not kidding you, this was every single day.

00:29:27.000 And it takes his, all it takes is two dudes to dream up big stuff and talk each other into really insane ideas, which Charlie and I did often to one another.

00:29:35.000 We would go back and forth with those ideas, perfecting them, turning into bigger, more insane, and impactful things, and of course, expensive concepts.

00:29:43.000 The ideas literally never stopped.

00:29:45.000 It was a round the clock problem solution chat that worked to dream big for the conservative movement.

00:29:51.000 Come up with new ideas, plan new things, fix all problems.

00:29:55.000 My job was to turn them into proposals and presentations, and voila, we would work to execute.

00:30:00.000 Charlie would take red eyes from coast to coast, going all over the country like a crazy man on any and every possible donor, meeting with every possible donor who would take a meeting so our ideas and fixes for the conservative movement could help young people once and for all.

00:30:17.000 I oftentimes would go with him and marvel at the deranged 22-year-old lifestyle of bathing in airport bathrooms, eating full plates of vegetables and meat at 10 p.m. at night after a long day's work.

00:30:28.000 He was the best at doing all of it.

00:30:30.000 Our success gave me the job of a lifetime, and I'm grateful for it for the rest of my life.

00:30:36.000 I got really good at recruiting the best young talent in the country to come work for us.

00:30:40.000 And it was non-stop.

00:30:42.000 We were a hell of a team.

00:30:44.000 And that's how it worked.

00:30:45.000 Turning Point USA was built, and the Charlie Kirk vision was delivered.

00:30:49.000 I had the special honor at Charlie and Erica's wedding to give a toast speech for Charlie the groom.

00:30:55.000 It was significantly less pressure than this room.

00:30:58.000 An incredibly beautiful wedding, but small and important room of people.

00:31:05.000 I can admittedly say I didn't think that I would have to give another Charlie Kirk speech this soon.

00:31:11.000 At his wedding, I told the story of talking Charlie into moving to Arizona.

00:31:15.000 He was an adamant Chicago boy.

00:31:18.000 I needed to break that.

00:31:20.000 Selfishly, I wanted him to love Arizona because I had recently convinced him to move Turning Point USA to Arizona.

00:31:26.000 It was a hard sell at first, and that was until I hosted the first Trump rally in Trump rally history right here in Arizona in 2015.

00:31:38.000 I got a call.

00:31:40.000 I got a call from Miss Erica Kirk.

00:31:42.000 Miss Arizona, 2012.

00:31:45.000 I just want to help, she said.

00:31:47.000 So naturally, I put her right behind the president at that first rally.

00:31:52.000 After that, we talked.

00:31:53.000 It was obvious she was the perfect person for the job that Charlie and I had devised in one of our 24-hour planning sessions.

00:32:00.000 I wanted to hire her.

00:32:02.000 I only had one problem.

00:32:04.000 Charlie Kirk wanted to date her.

00:32:07.000 Long story short, I was very worried he was going to scare her off and screw it up.

00:32:13.000 And I was going to lose this incredible prospect.

00:32:16.000 Like all things he put his mind to, Charlie accomplished everything he put his mind to.

00:32:20.000 They immediately fell in love and I lost an employee.

00:32:24.000 But now she's my boss. 0.99

00:32:27.000 I'm sure you've heard.

00:32:30.000 We love Erica Kirk.

00:32:34.000 Over the years, we built a lot of things.

00:32:35.000 The largest field operation of the conservative movement between high school, college, faith, and action.

00:32:40.000 The first ever ballot chase operation that won the election for President Trump.

00:32:49.000 The largest events in the conservative movement, most of which have been huge, but in convention centers.

00:32:54.000 In 2021, in the aftermath of COVID, we weren't sure if society was ever going to bounce back and ever get back to normal.

00:33:01.000 So we began planning what was one of the crazy ideas known as America Fest.

00:33:04.000 I hope you'll all be there this year.

00:33:07.000 We decided to move it to Swing State, Arizona, and hope and pray that this would work after the world shut down for so long.

00:33:14.000 Charlie, like all our 24-7 ideas sessions, texted me and our VP of events, Lawrence Honsich, late at night, and he showed us and said, this is my vision.

00:33:25.000 It was an image of a full stadium.

00:33:28.000 A few seconds later, he sent these images to full stadiums of people, hoping for that to be a future turning point event.

00:33:35.000 Well, Charlie, my friend, I'm happy to report we're standing in your vision.

00:33:40.000 You did it, buddy.

00:33:42.000 We love you.

00:33:47.000 You are sitting in the vision for Charlie Kirk.

00:33:49.000 bless.

00:33:58.000 My name is Justin Strife and I'm the Chief Operating Officer for Turning Point USA.

00:34:05.000 Since September 10th, my thoughts keep returning to one thing, and that's time.

00:34:10.000 Charlie lived only 31 years.

00:34:13.000 Yet when I reflect on those years, I see more impact and more courage and more achievement than most men accomplish in a lifetime.

00:34:21.000 I've known Charlie for a decade, and I'd like to share a little of what I learned from him.

00:34:26.000 Charlie often said that having courage is one of the easiest things in the world because all it requires is you to say yes.

00:34:34.000 Courage does not require talent.

00:34:37.000 It does not require natural ability.

00:34:39.000 Courage requires a personal decision.

00:34:42.000 It's interesting that people often describe Charlie as completely fearless, but the truth is simpler and much more profound.

00:34:49.000 Charlie simply refused to let fear stop him from carrying out God's will for him and his life.

00:34:58.000 His courage, his courage was a daily choice, a yes, no matter the cost, and it cost him his life.

00:35:06.000 This truth forced me to reflect on what we can't control, time.

00:35:11.000 It's fleeting, it's fragile, and it's sacred.

00:35:14.000 Charlie knew this better than anyone else.

00:35:17.000 He didn't waste time.

00:35:18.000 He lived every moment with conviction.

00:35:21.000 He lived as a man of character and truth and courage, and he taught us not just through words, but through actions.

00:35:29.000 Charlie was the same person in private as he was in public, and that's why we trusted him.

00:35:34.000 That's why we love him.

00:35:35.000 That's why we all feel this loss so deeply.

00:35:38.000 His honesty, his compassion, and his insistence on truth drew people in, even those who disagreed with him.

00:35:46.000 Charlie stirred patriotism in us, but more deeply he stirred our hunger to live united under God.

00:35:52.000 He told us to stop and think, to use common sense, to grow up and pitch in.

00:35:57.000 He asked us to hear the words that God wrote on our hearts.

00:36:00.000 I am the Lord your God, and you shall have no other gods before me.

00:36:04.000 This is not a message of comfort or safety or peace.

00:36:07.000 It's a message of love, a love of God's will.

00:36:11.000 Charlie's life was anchored by that love.

00:36:14.000 Every day he left his home, the comfort of it, his wife, his children, to face criticism and threats and angry mobs, and ultimately death.

00:36:23.000 He loved God more than he loved safety or applause or even his own life.

00:36:29.000 That's because the last 31 years weren't his career.

00:36:31.000 They were his calling.

00:36:35.000 Charlie's legacy is this.

00:36:37.000 He showed us how to be better people.

00:36:39.000 He gave voice to truth and he followed God's will.

00:36:43.000 He started with nothing more than an idea and a folding table.

00:36:48.000 And over 13 years with time and courage and faith, he built a movement that changed the world.

00:36:56.000 Now that Charlie's gone, what happens next?

00:37:01.000 It's up to us.

00:37:03.000 Time is fleeting, but the decisions we make here right now are eternal.

00:37:08.000 So let us honor Charlie by doing what he did.

00:37:11.000 Stand for truth, confront evil, live courageously, and we do it the way that Charlie did.

00:37:20.000 With compassion, but never compromising on truth.

00:37:24.000 Demanding the best from ourselves, from each other, and from our country.

00:37:30.000 Charlie reminded us that courage requires only a yes, and he said yes every single day.

00:37:36.000 And now it's our turn.

00:37:39.000 It's our turn to say yes, to speak boldly, speak honestly, to fight for our families, to love our country, to honor God, and to wisely use the time that we've been given.

00:37:55.000 And it's to do for the next generation what Charlie did for us.

00:37:59.000 Because this, all of this, right here and right now, is our turning point.

00:38:04.000 We love you, Charlie, and we won't let you down.

00:38:20.000 My name is Stacy Sheridan.

00:38:22.000 Eight years ago, I met Charlie in a crowded ballroom in West Palm Beach at a David Horowitz Freedom Center event.

00:38:31.000 We spoke briefly, we exchanged cards, and I thought nothing of it.

00:38:38.000 What ultimately made me want to join Charlie's cause and Charlie's team because he began a quest to hire me after meeting me.

00:38:48.000 I was reluctant at first, but it was his naive audaciousness to change the world that ultimately sold me.

00:39:01.000 It was the best decision I've ever made, and I've never looked back.

00:39:06.000 Yes, technically, Charlie was my boss, but it really never felt that way.

00:39:13.000 Far more than my boss, I felt like he was my little brother.

00:39:18.000 So the guys that went before me spoke about him as a boss and a leader.

00:39:23.000 I'm going to speak about him from my heart as a family member.

00:39:29.000 In 2022, my husband Mike became sick with cancer.

00:39:35.000 Two years later, that cancer took his life.

00:39:39.000 Throughout those two years, Charlie called me consistently to ask how he could help us.

00:39:46.000 At one point, he had critical medication and an oxygen machine sent to my doorstep without my knowledge.

00:39:54.000 I still to this day have no idea how he made that happen.

00:40:00.000 But that was Charlie.

00:40:02.000 He did the right thing.

00:40:04.000 There was no limit to how far he'd go to help a friend.

00:40:09.000 He wasn't looking for publicity or credit.

00:40:14.000 He did it because that's what a leader does.

00:40:18.000 That's what a friend does.

00:40:20.000 And that's what a Christian is supposed to do. 0.99

00:40:24.000 Sometimes I would express guilt to Charlie that I couldn't do my job at 100%.

00:40:30.000 Charlie's response every single time was family first.

00:40:38.000 When Mike ultimately passed away, Charlie and the entire team were there for us yet again.

00:40:47.000 They helped my daughter Grace through the unbearable tragedy of losing her father on her ninth birthday.

00:40:57.000 But Charlie's help didn't stop there.

00:41:00.000 This January, I lost my home in the Pacific Palisades fire.

00:41:06.000 Charlie's response was very clear and very direct.

00:41:12.000 This is a sign you and Grace belong in Arizona now.

00:41:21.000 Within a few months, we moved here and Charlie and Erica welcomed us into their family.

00:41:29.000 While enduring our various tragedies, my daughter Grace would ask me at least once a day, why would God do this to us, Mom?

00:41:40.000 My honest and only answer was: someday we will look at each other and instantly know why all of this had to happen.

00:41:49.000 And it will be for something far greater than we can ever imagine.

00:41:55.000 In my first conversation with Grace after Charlie's death, Grace said to me through tears over the phone, Mom, this is the answer to my question.

00:42:07.000 This is our why.

00:42:10.000 Now be there for Erica and Gigi and Mac, the way they were there for us.

00:42:28.000 Looking back today, it's so clear to me that Grace was right.

00:42:32.000 I know for certain that my late husband Mike, Charlie, and God were guiding us here for this very moment in time.

00:42:41.000 It was always written.

00:42:44.000 Erica, Grace and I will support you and your babies the way you and Charlie were there for us in our darkest days.

00:42:53.000 Charlie, we will miss your words of wisdom, your high-pitched laugh, just kind of awkward, and the way your voice would always soften when you spoke to Erica and your children.

00:43:12.000 And I promise we're going to make TPUSA so big that it reaches you in heaven.

00:43:31.000 Everything Charlie prayed for in his life, a restoration of faith, a rebirth of patriotism, is coming to fruition in his death.

00:43:42.000 And right now, he is beaming at us from heaven.

00:43:48.000 The fact that we pulled this off in seven days is a miracle that only Charlie Kirk can deliver, by the way.

00:43:57.000 So in Charlie's words, let's get to work, everybody.

00:44:01.000 We have a country to save.

00:44:03.000 Thank you.

00:44:05.000 Work on something that is much bigger than yourself.

00:44:20.000 So check your ego at the door.

00:44:22.000 This is not about you, okay?

00:44:24.000 I don't care about your feelings.

00:44:25.000 If you're having a bad day, you know, go figure that out yourself.

00:44:29.000 This is about us.

00:44:30.000 This is about the country.

00:44:34.000 And the eyes of the whole nation are again on Turning Point.

00:44:39.000 We do the best events in the movement.

00:44:41.000 In fact, we do the only event.

00:44:42.000 Are there any other events in the movement?

00:44:44.000 No.

00:44:44.000 We've got to put everyone else out of business, right?

00:44:46.000 So we are the only standard of excellence.

00:44:49.000 And so we hold ourselves to a higher standard.

00:44:51.000 We don't do mediocre route here.

00:44:53.000 We try to raise the level of excellence because we are constantly trying to push the conservative movement and the country to a place it's ever been before.

00:45:01.000 You guys know this: Turning Point USA is the most important organization in the country, period.

00:45:05.000 Find me another organization that's been able to move millions of people the way that we have, that does the events, that does training.

00:45:12.000 Nobody does what we do at Turning Point USA, but it starts with all of you.

00:45:16.000 We're building something bigger than you, bigger than me.

00:45:19.000 We're building experience to help save the country.

00:45:22.000 And if this type of intensity bothers you, well, then don't go work for Turning Point USA.

00:45:27.000 You can go work for the Department of Labor or something, okay?

00:45:30.000 Because here we do excellent things, we do big things.

00:45:33.000 We make history here at Turning Point USA.

00:45:36.000 It's going to be early mornings, it's going to be late nights, but you all get to know that you're doing something rewarding that is not just, oh, a career, you check the box, but lives will be changed.

00:45:46.000 How blessed are we that we get to be here celebrating the country and this is our job?

00:45:50.000 It's pretty awesome.

00:45:56.000 There's the one thing that I hear from speakers throughout all the years.

00:45:59.000 Your team is so impressive and they're so young.

00:46:02.000 Why is it, everybody?

00:46:03.000 Because for us, we hold ourselves to a higher standard.

00:46:06.000 This is not just another DC dig.

00:46:08.000 This is about saving Western civilization.

00:46:10.000 We are the most important organization in the country.

00:46:12.000 You are part of it.

00:46:13.000 It's something bigger than all of us.

00:46:16.000 And it will have ramifications across the country.

00:46:19.000 I'm so thankful for you guys.

00:46:21.000 You guys have really defied gravity, and let's continue to make history here.

00:46:47.000 Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Andrew Colvett.

00:47:04.000 Just give us a moment.

00:47:11.000 Hello.

00:47:13.000 My name is Andrew Colvet.

00:47:16.000 I am spokesman for Turning Point USA.

00:47:19.000 I'm a business partner of Charlie's.

00:47:22.000 I was the executive producer.

00:47:23.000 I am the executive producer of the Charlie Kirch Show.

00:47:27.000 But most of all, I'm a longtime friend of Charlie's.

00:47:32.000 Charlie and I built the show over eight years, brick by brick.

00:47:40.000 And I'm so proud of what we accomplished together.

00:47:45.000 And these wonderful people standing behind me are the geniuses, the camera ops, the board ops, the producers, the editors, and the social media team who made the show happen every single day.

00:48:09.000 You preempted my applause line, so we're going to do it again.

00:48:12.000 They deserve it.

00:48:15.000 They have performed their duties heroically this last week.

00:48:21.000 So please join with me in a big round of applause for them.

00:48:45.000 It's been excruciating to do this show the last week.

00:48:55.000 But we knew it's exactly what Charlie would have wanted.

00:49:04.000 And I want to thank you, the audience.

00:49:06.000 You've helped us work through our grief and our broken hearts, live on camera, streaming everywhere.

00:49:15.000 And I hope that we've been able to help you do the same in some small way.

00:49:24.000 But I will tell you something.

00:49:25.000 It's remarkable that in the midst of everything else Charlie had going on in his life, fundraising, traveling, speaking, running two organizations, that he even had time to fit in a daily radio show and podcast.

00:49:42.000 But I'll tell you something.

00:49:43.000 That show became the favorite part of Charlie's daily routine.

00:49:49.000 It was his one constant amid never-ending change.

00:49:55.000 Even when he was on the road, even when he was overseas, even during Amfest or our conferences, we did the show.

00:50:06.000 But mostly, it worked because Charlie loved you, the audience.

00:50:14.000 He read every single email you all sent to him.

00:50:19.000 That's why he said every single day, send us an email at freedom at CharlieKirk.com.

00:50:25.000 Send us your thoughts.

00:50:26.000 If you agree, you disagree, and we want you to keep sending us those emails.

00:50:32.000 I have no idea how he did it, but he really read every single one of them.

00:50:38.000 And this is a true story.

00:50:40.000 At the end of every show, I had a little ritual of my own.

00:50:44.000 I would go into the sent folder of freedom at charliekirk.com, and sure enough, every single show, I would find debates that he was having with his audience that disagreed on some minor point.

00:50:58.000 There would be email chains six or seven emails long, all why Charlie Kirk was hosting his own show.

00:51:06.000 It's truly remarkable.

00:51:10.000 And you, his audience, the grassroots, the muscular class, you all were his firewall for freedom.

00:51:18.000 You were his North Star.

00:51:20.000 When he met fancy elites who tried to take him off course and try and tell him what regular people really cared about, he knew better because he knew all of you.

00:51:35.000 Yes.

00:51:40.000 He knew he had a secret weapon, and it was you, and he never forgot about you because he loved you and he respected your wisdom.

00:51:49.000 You see, it's only now that I'm beginning to realize what was going on all these years that I spent with Charlie.

00:51:58.000 We called them campus tours.

00:52:01.000 Now I know they were really tent revivals complete with a tent.

00:52:09.000 Amen.

00:52:12.000 We call it the Charlie Kirk Show, but it was really just Charlie confronting the lies in the culture and pointing to the truth day in and day out, and millions of you tuned in.

00:52:25.000 You see, I see it now clearly, that Charlie Kirk was a prophet.

00:52:31.000 Not the fortune-telling kind that could predict the future, but the biblical kind.

00:52:36.000 He confronted evil and proclaimed the truth and called us to repent and be saved.

00:52:44.000 Amen.

00:52:52.000 And he wasn't mean about it.

00:52:54.000 He was kind and he was loving.

00:52:57.000 And you could hear in his voice that he desperately wanted the best for you and for all of us.

00:53:07.000 So friends, look around you.

00:53:12.000 We've been worshiping, we've been singing, we've been joyful.

00:53:16.000 Our hearts are grieving, but we do not grieve as the world grieves.

00:53:23.000 Because it says in scripture, O death, where is your victory?

00:53:27.000 O death, where is your sting?

00:53:30.000 Christ has overcome death.

00:53:44.000 And Charlie, we are so grateful for the harvest that your life and legacy is producing all around us.

00:53:54.000 And you can see it.

00:53:55.000 The workers.

00:53:56.000 There's a whole lot more workers than there were before.

00:54:00.000 And so let me leave you with this.

00:54:02.000 For all the fans of the Charlie Kirk show out there, you'll know the line.

00:54:06.000 We will see you Monday.

00:54:08.000 Until then, buckle up.

00:54:10.000 Here we go.

00:54:13.000 Thank you.

00:54:14.000 God bless you.

00:54:14.000 Ladies

00:54:59.000 and gentlemen, please welcome Benny Johnson.

00:55:09.000 Fight for Charlie Kirk.

00:55:13.000 Who feels the Holy Spirit in the house tonight?

00:55:20.000 Who can feel that revival happening right now?

00:55:29.000 How does it always work?

00:55:31.000 What man intends for evil, God intends for good.

00:55:36.000 Evil thought that there would be a funeral today. 0.97

00:55:39.000 has created a revival right here in this house right now Charlie always had that revival energy didn't he When Charlie first met me, I was a degenerate loser. 0.94

00:56:00.000 I'm still a loser, but I was addicted to alcohol. 0.93

00:56:04.000 I had no wife. 0.97

00:56:05.000 I had no kids.

00:56:06.000 I had nothing going for me.

00:56:07.000 After 10 years of work with Charlie Kirk, after his witnessing to my life, I have become a Christ-centered man.

00:56:17.000 I am happily married to the woman of my dreams sitting right there with our youngest son who just turned eight today, eight months.

00:56:28.000 And he's wearing ducks for Charlie's beloved Oregon ducks today.

00:56:32.000 That's Baby Whitaker in honor of Charlie.

00:56:38.000 All of you had a Charlie moment in your life, didn't you?

00:56:42.000 Raise your hand if Charlie Kirk centered you a little closer to Christ.

00:56:47.000 Did Charlie help you achieve your American dream a little bit more?

00:56:52.000 Did Charlie have that effect?

00:56:54.000 Look at every single hand.

00:56:55.000 Stand up.

00:56:56.000 Say amen if Charlie Kirk had that effect on your life.

00:57:04.000 Look at this.

00:57:06.000 100,000 Americans, millions watching online, standing up and saying, that is the revival spirit of Charlie Kirk's life.

00:57:18.000 And that is the power of martyrdom.

00:57:23.000 Because Charlie Kirk is a martyr in the true Christian tradition. 0.99

00:57:30.000 If you take out a tyrant, his power goes away.

00:57:34.000 You cut down a martyr, his power grows.

00:57:40.000 And that's what we see time and time again.

00:57:42.000 We're seeing it across this country.

00:57:44.000 Who's seen the full churches, the full parking lots?

00:57:49.000 Who knows somebody now who's a Satanist or an agnostic who's now looking at Charlie's life in this revival moment in our country and going, maybe I got it all wrong.

00:57:58.000 Maybe I do need to Christ-center my life.

00:58:01.000 This is what Charlie always wanted.

00:58:02.000 This is how he wanted to be remembered.

00:58:06.000 In the mold of Stephen, the first martyr, Stephen was killed for speaking the truth about Christ, much like Charlie Kirk.

00:58:19.000 The martyr Stephen was the same age as Charlie Kirk when he was martyred.

00:58:25.000 At that time, Christianity was just a few very scared Christians in Jerusalem. 0.97

00:58:33.000 And after Stephen's martyrdom, Christianity spread throughout the known world.

00:58:40.000 The power of martyrdom.

00:58:42.000 This is how God and Christ always advances his kingdom, and he's doing it right now with Charlie Kirk.

00:58:48.000 It is a wonderful thing to see.

00:58:50.000 We were all witness to a miracle.

00:58:55.000 Charlie's life was a miracle.

00:58:56.000 We could all see it.

00:58:57.000 Those who worked up close and those who watched from far away.

00:59:04.000 We got to witness a miracle in Charlie's life.

00:59:09.000 Someone who was there That day when Stephen was martyred was Saul.

00:59:15.000 Saul was the one who was taking the garments so that Stephen could be killed.

00:59:20.000 And through Stephen's martyrdom, the Apostle Paul was reached by Christ to go out and write the majority of the New Testament.

00:59:29.000 There is no one who is irredeemable.

00:59:34.000 And that is what Charlie would have wanted us to know about his faith in Jesus Christ.

00:59:40.000 The power of Christ's blood and the power of martyrdom speaks through Charlie.

00:59:46.000 The Apostle Paul would go on to write the book of Romans.

00:59:50.000 And I'd just like to close with this.

00:59:52.000 In Romans 13, the Apostle Paul talks about a godly government instituted by our Lord and Savior.

01:00:00.000 And what does he describe?

01:00:03.000 The Apostle Paul describes how God establishes the rulers of the nations.

01:00:09.000 In the audience right now, there are rulers of our land.

01:00:14.000 Represented right here is the State Department, the Department of War, the Department of Justice, the chief executive.

01:00:22.000 God has instituted them.

01:00:24.000 God has given them power over our nation and our land.

01:00:31.000 God saved our president, President Trump, from an assassin's bullet for this moment.

01:00:52.000 And what does the Apostle Paul in Romans say about a godly leadership?

01:01:00.000 He says that rulers wield the sword for the protection of good men and for the terror of evil men.

01:01:15.000 May we pray that our rulers here, rightfully instituted and given power by our God, wield the sword for the terror of evil men in our nation in Charlie's memory.

01:01:41.000 I want to live in a country where the evil are terrified and where the good and the faithful and the moral people of our nation can live in peace, debate in peace, disagree in peace, and start families in peace.

01:01:57.000 And so we want to thank the administration for being here and carrying out that godly mission of wielding the sword against evil.

01:02:11.000 In conclusion, I'd be remiss if I didn't say this to all of the young men in the audience, and I can see so many young men out there.

01:02:19.000 Charlie really reached young men and women.

01:02:21.000 But this is the advice that Charlie gave me: center your life on Christ.

01:02:28.000 Fall in love.

01:02:31.000 Get married.

01:02:32.000 Have a million kids.

01:02:35.000 And live out your American dream.

01:02:38.000 And by doing that, we can create millions and millions and millions of Charlie Kirks.

01:02:43.000 And we can save our land.

01:02:46.000 That will be our turning point.

01:02:48.000 God bless you and God bless Charlie Kirk.

01:03:01.000 He's looking down on us, smiling from heaven.

01:03:05.000 God bless you.

01:03:05.000 Thank you.

01:03:17.000 Please welcome to the stage, Dr. Ben Carson.

01:03:33.000 Thank you.

01:03:34.000 It's wonderful to see so many people out here for such a sad but also a wonderful purpose.

01:03:41.000 You know, we at the American Cornerstone Institute grieve with everyone as we think about the loss of our friend and partner, Charlie Kirk.

01:03:51.000 But did you hear a political figure last week saying that Charlie Kirk was ignorant because he didn't have a college degree?

01:04:02.000 I've seen him run circles around people with college degrees.

01:04:07.000 You know, I wonder if that political figure realizes that most of learning in life comes outside of the classroom.

01:04:22.000 And I am delighted to see the young people of our land merging with the older people like me and moving in the same direction and understanding that our nation was founded upon the kind of principles that allowed us to rise from nothing to the pinnacle of the world in record time.

01:04:44.000 That was no accident.

01:04:46.000 That was because of what we believed, including our Judeo-Christian beliefs, that our rights come from our creator and not from government.

01:05:02.000 Now, for many decades, there have been people who are trying to fundamentally change who we are.

01:05:11.000 And there was a man by the name of Cleon Skousen, who wrote a book called The Naked Communists in the 50s.

01:05:23.000 And he exposed the things that were being done by the Marxists to gain control of our country.

01:05:30.000 Such things as gaining control of the public education system and the teacher unions so that you could infiltrate and indoctrinate our young people.

01:05:42.000 It was a radical leftist who said, give me your children to teach for four years and the seed that I sow will never be uprooted.

01:05:56.000 That's why that's what's going on.

01:05:58.000 They also had a goal of gaining control of the media and Hollywood so they could change the culture in America, making sexual perversion normal, natural, and healthy.

01:06:10.000 And speaking of that, pushing God out of our society and changing the gospel to the social gospel. 0.62

01:06:20.000 Have you noticed that a lot of preachers don't want to talk about what's in the Bible if it's counter to the social gospel?

01:06:28.000 Well, I challenge the ministers out there to talk about what the Bible says and not what the leftists say.

01:06:44.000 And get on board, get on board of the revival that is coming.

01:06:52.000 We are not going to be able to stop it.

01:06:54.000 You see evidence of it right here in the stadium.

01:06:57.000 We're all going to be a part of it.

01:06:59.000 I love the fact that Erica is going to take over and we're going to grow the turning point to a very significant level.

01:07:09.000 And I want us all to remember, you cannot be the land of the free if you're not the home of the brave.

01:07:16.000 You've got to stand up for what you believe in.

01:07:23.000 And in closing, I want to read a passage from John 12, 24.

01:07:35.000 Remembering that Charlie was shot at 12.24 p.m.

01:07:43.000 Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is Christ speaking, except a corn of wheat fall onto the ground and die, it abideth alone.

01:07:53.000 But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

01:07:58.000 And I want to thank Charlie for his sacrifice because much fruit is going to be realized.

01:08:04.000 Thank you.

01:08:05.000 A

01:08:36.000 warm welcome to Congresswoman Anna Polina Luna.

01:08:49.000 I just want to start out by saying there would be no Congresswoman Luna without Charlie Kirk.

01:09:00.000 I still remember the phone call that changed my life.

01:09:04.000 Hey, Anna, it's Charlie.

01:09:06.000 I'd like to offer you a job as TPUSA's National Hispanic Outreach Director.

01:09:11.000 Charlie believed with every fiber of his being that the youth of this nation would save it.

01:09:17.000 His fierce patriotism, his unyielding boldness, his prophetic foresight, these were the sparks that lit the path for me on the eve of my departure to medical school to decide to change course and join TPUSA where I could help Charlie battle the socialist indoctrination on college campuses.

01:09:38.000 The year I spent at TPSA traveling with Charlie is where I honed my voice in the crucible of politics and ultimately forged the path that led me to Congress.

01:09:48.000 I saw Charlie grow from a young man with conferences of a few hundred people to one of the most powerful men in the world walking alongside presidents and titans.

01:09:57.000 I saw him grow a beautiful family, all the while remaining a humble leader who quietly raised up others to forward the movement.

01:10:05.000 Today, we honor a patriot whose love of this nation burns as brightly as the founding fathers during the birth of our republic.

01:10:23.000 Like George Washington, who sacrificed his peaceful life at Mount Vernon to lead a militia and a small army against the mightiest empire on earth, risking everything, his fortune, his family, his very life, to secure liberty for generations unborn.

01:10:40.000 Charlie poured out his youth, his energy, and his unshakable resolve to awaken America's youth from the slumber of complacency and to mobilize millions this past election cycle to reclaim the principles of truth and self-governance that define our exceptional nation.

01:10:57.000 His name will stand etched in the history besides the likes of JFK, who boldly challenged a generation to ask what they could do for their country amid the shadows of the Cold War, and Dr. King, who marched into the jaws of hatred, sacrificing his safety and ultimately his life to bend the arc of history towards justice.

01:11:16.000 These giants, Washington forging a new nation from revolution, JFK inspiring the innovation and resolve, and MLK redeeming it through moral courage, changed the outcome of eras just as Charlie altered the trajectory of our modern fight against cultural decay and ideological tyranny.

01:11:45.000 He didn't just speak of patriotism, he lived it, giving everything to ignite a movement that turned the tide for conservatism, empowering young voices to challenge a status quo and to secure a brighter future for America.

01:12:00.000 And as I stand here today, looking at thousands of young people in this crowd, I realize that Charlie's vision is ablaze in every single one of you.

01:12:10.000 The generation that he entrusted to restore the soul of this nation.

01:12:15.000 So I ask you: will you live boldly as Charlie did?

01:12:21.000 Will you rise to the challenge as Charlie did?

01:12:25.000 Will you speak truth without fear as Charlie did?

01:12:28.000 And will you pray with unwavering faith as Charlie did?

01:12:33.000 If one man can awaken a generation and save a nation, imagine what 10,000 can do.

01:12:40.000 And we are all Charlie Kirk now, and his legacy has just begun.

01:12:53.000 God bless all of you and these great United States of America.

01:12:56.000 Thank you.

01:12:57.000 Welcome

01:13:35.000 to the stage, Jack Posobiec.

01:13:47.000 Charlie Kirk.

01:13:52.000 Charlie Kirk.

01:14:04.000 Charlie Kirk was my friend.

01:14:08.000 Charlie was my brother.

01:14:11.000 And Charlie was my commanding officer.

01:14:15.000 And we will never, ever let the left, the media, or the Democrats forget the name of Charlie Kirk.

01:14:38.000 The Bible, we'll get there.

01:14:40.000 Hold on, we'll get there.

01:14:42.000 The Bible tells us that on his last day, Moses climbed to the top of the mountain and he looked across the River Jordan and he saw the promised land.

01:14:58.000 He led the people there, but he did not cross himself.

01:15:04.000 For he was taken and he died on that mountain and he was brought to God's kingdom.

01:15:15.000 On his last day, Charlie Kirk was on the top of a mountain.

01:15:19.000 And Charlie Kirk led us there.

01:15:21.000 And Charlie Kirk has brought us to the promised land.

01:15:33.000 Charlie's death was not just a murder.

01:15:38.000 The true word for what Charlie did is sacrifice.

01:15:45.000 You see, the difference between murder and sacrifice is that sacrifice is a gift.

01:15:53.000 Sacrifice is that last full measure of devotion for God, for country, and for his people and for his family.

01:16:06.000 Charlie Kirk died for all of you.

01:16:11.000 And Charlie Kirk's gift of his sacrifice means that Charlie Kirk will live forever.

01:16:21.000 Not just for all of us, not just for his family and Erica and for his children, but for all future generations of Americans.

01:16:40.000 And the question of our time, will Western civilization endure?

01:16:49.000 Or will it fracture in two like so many predict?

01:16:54.000 Well, I say to you that a century from now, when they write of the two or three pivotal moments that led to the saving of Western civilization, They will write that the sacrifice of Charles James Kirk was the turning point.

01:17:28.000 And the ugliness that has been revealed by Charlie's murder will be and is already being overcome by the beauty of the outpouring of love and prayer around the world.

01:17:44.000 Seas of a thousand candles that have been litten from coast to coast for Charlie's sacrifice for all of us.

01:17:54.000 will overcome their evil.

01:18:02.000 And Charlie's sacrifice has given us all And I see it in your eyes.

01:18:13.000 I see it in the eyes of every man, woman, and child who has come to me since this unspeakable evil happened.

01:18:23.000 We have it now.

01:18:25.000 Charlie gave it to us.

01:18:27.000 He gave us that last bit of courage, that last bit of fight, that last bit of grit and resolve to say no more.

01:18:40.000 We are done.

01:18:42.000 We are done with all of it, and we will now stand and fight.

01:18:46.000 Because if you took Charlie Kirk off that line, then every single one of us will rise up and we will replace that line and we will be there and we will remind them what they did for Charlie, what they did to Charlie, and we will never ever let them forget the name Charlie Kirk.

01:19:11.000 Our civilization will endure.

01:19:14.000 The United States of America will endure.

01:19:18.000 For Charlie, we will continue the mission.

01:19:22.000 For Charlie, we will end the evil disease that split us and took Charlie from us.

01:19:28.000 And for Charlie, Turning Point USA will last forever.

01:19:38.000 And we will come to find.

01:19:41.000 We will come to find that in the final moment that Western civilization was saved through Charlie's sacrifice in the only way possible by returning the people to Almighty God.

01:20:05.000 For greater love hath no man than this than he who laid down his life for his friends.

01:20:14.000 Are you ready to continue the mission?

01:20:18.000 Are you ready to fight back?

01:20:21.000 And are you ready to put on the full armor of God and face the evil in high places and the spiritual warfare before us?

01:20:32.000 Then put on the full armor of God.

01:20:35.000 Do it now.

01:20:36.000 Now is the time.

01:20:40.000 This is the place.

01:20:42.000 This is the turning point for Charlie.

01:20:57.000 God bless to all of you.

01:20:59.000 God bless to everyone, to Charlie's family, to all the families.

01:21:06.000 And Charlie, until we meet again, brother.

01:21:38.000 Please welcome to the stage, Frank Turek.

01:21:51.000 Erica wanted me to share with you what happened after that shot rang out on September 10th.

01:22:01.000 I was standing 25 feet from my beloved friend just off his right.

01:22:06.000 Why was I there?

01:22:09.000 About five years ago, Charlie asked me if I would mentor him in the evidence for Christianity because that's one of the things I do.

01:22:21.000 Now, it's going to be difficult to mentor someone smarter than you.

01:22:27.000 However, the only thing that surpassed Charlie's intellect was his humility.

01:22:36.000 And so the few things I knew that he didn't he wanted me to share with him.

01:22:41.000 When that shot rang out, I took a step toward him, but his security team was on him immediately.

01:22:50.000 And so Charlie, being like a son to me, I ran toward the security team and we ran to the SUV together.

01:23:01.000 No father would stand back and go, no, you just take my son.

01:23:05.000 Take him.

01:23:06.000 I'll meet you at the hospital.

01:23:09.000 I got into the back of the SUV.

01:23:12.000 And let me tell you something.

01:23:14.000 His team was amazing.

01:23:18.000 When this full investigation is done, I think you're going to see that his team did everything they were supposed to do.

01:23:27.000 In the car, Justin was driving.

01:23:30.000 Dan was in the front with the GPS.

01:23:34.000 Rick was to my left.

01:23:36.000 He had Charlie's head.

01:23:37.000 And Brian was at Charlie's feet.

01:23:40.000 And Charlie's so big, we couldn't even shut the door.

01:23:43.000 He's so tall.

01:23:45.000 And I'm perched over the back seat.

01:23:50.000 And while they're administering all sorts of first aid, apparently my skill, my job was to yell.

01:23:58.000 I was doing a lot of yelling.

01:24:00.000 And I want you to know that we did everything we could to save Charlie.

01:24:08.000 But Charlie was already gone.

01:24:12.000 His face was looking at mine, but he wasn't looking at me.

01:24:16.000 He was looking past me right into eternity.

01:24:20.000 And if it's any comfort at all, I learned later that Charlie felt no pain.

01:24:26.000 He died instantly.

01:24:29.000 But we had to try and bring him back.

01:24:31.000 We couldn't.

01:24:32.000 We couldn't save him.

01:24:33.000 Now, I want you to know that Charlie right now is in heaven, not because he was a great husband and father, not because he saved millions of kids out of darkness on college campuses, not because he changed minds and chased votes to save the country.

01:24:55.000 Not because he sacrificed himself for his savior.

01:25:01.000 Charlie Kirk is in heaven because his savior sacrificed himself for Charlie Kirk.

01:25:18.000 Now look, there's only two things you can get in the afterlife.

01:25:24.000 You can get justice or you can get grace.

01:25:28.000 Ladies and gentlemen, does anyone in here, does anybody out there watching around the world want justice from an infinitely just being?

01:25:36.000 I don't want justice.

01:25:38.000 I want grace.

01:25:40.000 Well, the only way to get grace for an infinitely just being is for him to punish an innocent substitute in our place.

01:25:48.000 Where can he find an innocent substitute among us?

01:25:51.000 He can't.

01:25:52.000 We're all fallen.

01:25:54.000 So what does this infinitely just and infinitely loving God do?

01:25:59.000 He adds humanity to his deity.

01:26:02.000 He comes to earth. 0.85

01:26:03.000 He allows the creatures that rebelled against him to torture and kill him so he could place their punishment upon himself.

01:26:14.000 And then by trusting in him, every one of us can be forgiven and then given his righteousness.

01:26:21.000 Ladies and gentlemen, this is the greatest story ever told.

01:26:24.000 And it happens to be true.

01:26:27.000 There's evidence for this and Charlie knew it.

01:26:31.000 Watch his videos.

01:26:37.000 Charlie knew that life wasn't just about money.

01:26:40.000 It wasn't just about sex.

01:26:42.000 It wasn't just about power.

01:26:44.000 It wasn't just about prestige.

01:26:46.000 He knew that the purpose of life is to know Jesus and to make him known.

01:26:51.000 make heaven crowded.

01:27:01.000 Charlie's eyes were fixed on eternity.

01:27:05.000 Where have your eyes been fixed?
