00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 My guest today is Charlie Kirk, the founder and president of TPUSA.
00:01:13.000 Charlie, thanks so much for joining us.
00:01:14.000 Honored to be here.
00:01:15.000 So I'd love to dive right into what's been going on with you lately.
00:01:15.000 Thank you.
00:01:18.000 I think you caused a little bit of trouble during the Super Bowl.
00:01:21.000 You want to tell us about that?
00:01:23.000 Yeah, I mean, look, I'll never apologize for defending the innocent of children, innocence of children, which the left has always tried to get rid of the innocence of children.
00:01:32.000 And there's this Super Bowl halftime show that I guess people liked, whatever.
00:01:36.000 I wasn't making commentary on the music.
00:01:38.000 And if you watch the 50 Cent portion of it, which is, let's just put it nicely, scantily clad women, you know, bending over like long snappers in a football game and being incredibly suggestive, there's no way you could say that that's okay for a six-year-old to see.
00:01:53.000 It's the most broadcast event in humanity.
00:01:56.000 120 million people are watching it.
00:01:58.000 Why do you think that kind of content is being put out there?
00:02:00.000 Well, I think that the left wants to continue to hypersexualize all activity.
00:02:05.000 And it's one thing if it was like behind a paywall or if it's like HBO Plus, like I'm not going to tweet about that, like whatever, okay?
00:02:11.000 I'll have my own opinions on it.
00:02:12.000 But you put on network television when 100 million people are watching, including five, six, or seven-year-olds.
00:02:17.000 We're just going to kind of normalize that type of activity.
00:02:19.000 And that's why I said what I said.
00:02:20.000 It's sexual anarchy, which it is, which is a term that I've been using that I got from my friend Pastor David Engelhardt, which is the sexual domain, no rules at all, just complete anarchy there.
00:02:29.000 No order, no tradition, no right and wrong.
00:02:32.000 We have all sorts of different sort of components there.
00:02:34.000 And I said it shouldn't be a lot on network television, and I stand by that because network television should be a reflection of the type of society we want to live in.
00:02:41.000 Well, you know what?
00:02:42.000 It reminds me of all the craziness over Netflix's cuties a couple years ago.
00:02:45.000 You remember that?
00:02:46.000 Yeah, and I think they got criminally indicted in a county or Texas or something, and that was really bad.
00:02:51.000 But the argument could, I mean, that was like child pornography bad and pedophilia bad.
00:02:56.000 It wasn't on network TV, right?
00:02:58.000 And so we're talking about that one specific instance.
00:03:00.000 And obviously, but like, look, you asked why, going back to Huxley's prediction of everyone belonging to everybody and sexual restraint kind of getting completely eroded, it's been a deliberate goal of the left post-1960s to make sexuality something that is not private or sacred, but instead widespread and normalized.
00:03:21.000 And that actually creates really normal, that creates really miserable people in a chaotic society.
00:03:25.000 And that's so interesting because, you know, we see so many examples of what you're talking about.
00:03:29.000 Hookup culture is so prevalent, more and more gender ideology, pushing for children to think of themselves as a different gender as young as a toddler.
00:03:38.000 Why do you think that so much of this is being pushed on our youth and what effect will it have on the coming generations?
00:03:38.000 That's right.
00:03:44.000 I mean, I'm unafraid to say this is being organized on a supernatural level.
00:03:47.000 I mean, it's a spiritual war, no doubt.
00:03:49.000 The enemy wants to have people have, declare war on their biological reality and take them away from things that actually give them meaning and purpose.
00:03:58.000 And so I think that this is being organized on a supernatural level.
00:04:01.000 You know, people think that's insane.
00:04:02.000 I say it while I'm a Christian and I stand by it.
00:04:03.000 You can't be a Christian and not believe that, right?
00:04:05.000 So that's a metaphysical part of believing in Christianity.
00:04:11.000 But look, it's also that you asked the why.
00:04:15.000 I think that there is a group of people that have sinned and we're all sinners, but they somehow want to normalize and institutionalize it and act as if that's okay.
00:04:24.000 It might be a coping mechanism.
00:04:25.000 I'm not really sure.
00:04:26.000 But there's no way that you could say that, you know, 12-year-olds getting sexual education courses or even having sex in general or 14-year-olds is good for society.
00:04:36.000 It's awful.
00:04:36.000 It's disgusting.
00:04:37.000 It's wrong.
00:04:38.000 We should say that more.
00:04:39.000 And we should try to tell young people, look, you might slip up, you might make a mistake, that's okay.
00:04:42.000 100% grace.
00:04:43.000 We get it.
00:04:44.000 But try to save yourself from marriage.
00:04:45.000 Like, at least try.
00:04:46.000 Like, make it a goal.
00:04:47.000 Yeah.
00:04:48.000 Like, that would be good.
00:04:49.000 Yeah, and I always hear TPUSA talking about encouraging young people to get married.
00:04:53.000 And I think that's really interesting, but something I keep noticing lately is, you know, you can get married, but that doesn't mean that it's going to last.
00:04:59.000 So how do we tell young people to marry the right person?
00:05:02.000 You know, how do we equip them to marry a good person?
00:05:05.000 Yeah, I mean, that I happened to meet the best person on the planet and I married her.
00:05:09.000 So I guess I'm lucky or fortunate or blessed or whatever.
00:05:14.000 That's a whole separate issue where men are super weak.
00:05:18.000 They become beta males and women don't want to marry them.
00:05:20.000 And women have become men.
00:05:21.000 So they're super angry and men don't want to be with women that are really kind of like overly aggressive.
00:05:28.000 And I get that feedback from both sides all the time.
00:05:30.000 And I understand what I'm saying.
00:05:31.000 It's politically incorrect.
00:05:32.000 I don't care.
00:05:32.000 It's just the way it is.
00:05:34.000 There's a generation of like super miserable mid-30-something women that are like, why does no one want to marry me?
00:05:39.000 It's like, okay, well, and then they say, you know, men are all awful and terrible.
00:05:42.000 I just saw a TikTok a couple days ago.
00:05:44.000 It went viral.
00:05:45.000 This 30-something-year-old woman in LA crying about the state of dating nowadays and how she can't find anyone she wants to marry.
00:05:51.000 Yeah, and like, I will say this, though, without getting preachy, did you save yourself for marriage?
00:05:58.000 Because if you do, then all of a sudden your dating pool opens up to other people that have saved themselves from marriage.
00:06:02.000 Oh, interesting.
00:06:03.000 And like, that's an interesting thing, right?
00:06:05.000 Yeah.
00:06:06.000 And people, you don't even have to talk about that in society.
00:06:09.000 They're like, you're a prudish or whatever.
00:06:10.000 Like, well, I think that that's a good goal.
00:06:13.000 It's an ideal, right?
00:06:14.000 Yeah, what's wrong with having goals?
00:06:15.000 Well, I know, but I'm not trying to say you're a bad person if you've stepped.
00:06:18.000 I'm not getting pre, like, I'm not trying to like kind of like go after you in that way, but it should be something that we should, like, yeah, you know what?
00:06:25.000 We should try to have more people, your young people.
00:06:27.000 I actually think they'll be happier and more fulfilled.
00:06:29.000 And by the way, the data shows it.
00:06:30.000 Right.
00:06:30.000 The data shows that young people that wait for marriage are happier.
00:06:33.000 They live better lives.
00:06:33.000 They have more children.
00:06:34.000 All of it.
00:06:35.000 That's really interesting.
00:06:36.000 So, you know, as the leader of TPUSA, you're pushing for messages of fidelity and, I guess, monogamy, right?
00:06:43.000 Totally.
00:06:44.000 Yeah.
00:06:44.000 What else do you think is important for young people to know?
00:06:47.000 Like, what is the greatest thing that we're combating these days?
00:06:49.000 Yeah, I mean, I think it's, again, I think it's a spiritual component.
00:06:52.000 But I also think that it's something that we must be, you know, we can't get too kind of into our own doctrine where we're unafraid to talk to other people about this, right?
00:07:04.000 And some people are still trying to get their lives together.
00:07:05.000 They've never kind of been exposed to this.
00:07:07.000 But I also think that we shouldn't be okay with laws or public policy that makes it harder to get married and have children, right?
00:07:16.000 And so there are three things that create conservatives.
00:07:19.000 It's really simple, actually.
00:07:21.000 We want to create more conservatives.
00:07:23.000 You should have more people want to own homes and property, get married and have children.
00:07:27.000 Those three things create right-wingers.
00:07:29.000 Like, that's it.
00:07:29.000 So why we're not talking about that or doing it is beyond me.
00:07:32.000 Like, well, why are young people socialists?
00:07:34.000 They own nothing.
00:07:35.000 They're not married and they have no children.
00:07:36.000 What are they conserving exactly?
00:07:38.000 Nothing.
00:07:39.000 It creates radicals, actually.
00:07:41.000 So that's a message I think that resonates with a lot of young people.
00:07:44.000 We should make it easier to do those three things.
00:07:46.000 And last question for you.
00:07:47.000 Are you hopeful about the state of the next generation of conservatives?
00:07:53.000 Yes, I think that they're more concerned about these types of issues.
00:07:57.000 I grew up in a conservative movement that was hyper-libertarian 10 years ago.
00:08:01.000 You probably remember it.
00:08:03.000 It's become less so, and I think that's a good thing.
00:08:05.000 I like the libertarians on a lot of different things, lockdowns, you know, gun issues, things like that.
00:08:11.000 But I don't think that you can order a society towards meaning or purpose if you tell an 18-year-old, go do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it, and you're somehow going to be happy.
00:08:19.000 It actually creates miserable people most times.
00:08:21.000 Some people might be able to figure it out.
00:08:22.000 God bless you, but you'll actually probably end up 26 and unmarried and you own nothing and you're wondering where your purpose in the cosmos is.
00:08:31.000 It creates an existential crisis, actually.
00:08:33.000 And I don't think we have to recreate the wheel, if you will.
00:08:36.000 There's thousands of years of biblical tradition that has allowed people to have meaning, which is the three-tide not of what came before you, what's happening now, what's going to happen in the future.
00:08:44.000 All right.
00:08:44.000 Well, Charlie, thank you so much.
00:08:46.000 We're so grateful for you for chatting with us today.
00:08:48.000 God bless.
00:08:49.000 Thank you.

00:09:54.000 So we could either talk, it's obviously the NFL is starting tonight, or we could talk about debate.
00:10:01.000 Debate on, so let's just ask a question.
00:10:03.000 Are you guys excited for the NFL season, or is it just like too woke for you to watch?
00:10:07.000 I feel like I've, so I started off when I was a kid.
00:10:09.000 I was a fanatical fan of the NFL, and like I would cry when the Packers lost and it would just like, oh, 2000, 2007, I think, was the one that was like really weighed on me.
00:10:20.000 That was when Brett Favre was still there.
00:10:21.000 Yeah, it was Brett Favre, and then he loses the last game on a pick, and I was like all super sad about it.
00:10:26.000 There were as many touchdowns as interceptions.
00:10:27.000 Yeah, yeah, you know, that.
00:10:28.000 So I used to get really, I lived and died by this.
00:10:31.000 And then when the anthem protest started happening with Kaepernick around 2016, I disengaged.
00:10:36.000 I also did the same.
00:10:37.000 I thought, this is dumb.
00:10:39.000 I'm going to prove that I'm not like ruled by cockball or whatever they started calling it then.
00:10:45.000 And so I actually had a whole year.
00:10:47.000 I didn't really watch it.
00:10:48.000 Me too.
00:10:49.000 And it helped, of course, the Packers were bad.
00:10:51.000 And now I think I'm in a healthy spot of football is a fun thing that I can watch, but it's sort of lame to care about it too much.
00:10:59.000 Brett Favre actually visited South Dakota in 2019.
00:11:02.000 I'm trying to get him on the show.
00:11:03.000 Oh, that'd be great.
00:11:04.000 But Brett Favre's cool.
00:11:05.000 But I saw when I went there, just to finish the story, I went there and there were all these men who were like substantially older than me.
00:11:12.000 And they were still, it's Vikings fans here.
00:11:14.000 So they were still really upset about that Packer, the Viking Saints game where Sean Payton had.
00:11:19.000 That was terrible.
00:11:20.000 That was dirty, but that was the NFC championship.
00:11:23.000 They were really angry about it.
00:11:24.000 Like he does a QA.
00:11:25.000 And these guys who are 45, 50 years old are livid.
00:11:29.000 And Favre himself is, he's like, you know, I know Coach Payton.
00:11:32.000 I don't think he meant, you know, to have, I think he's a friend of mine.
00:11:36.000 I don't think he meant to hurt me like that bad.
00:11:38.000 And, you know, it's totally under the breath.
00:11:40.000 And they're like, these guys are just seething over this.
00:11:44.000 And just a sport where men throw a ball and are played millions of dollars to do it should not make you that angry.
00:11:52.000 But the Vikings have never won a Super Bowl.
00:11:53.000 And they never will.
00:11:53.000 That's fine.
00:11:55.000 You think so?
00:11:56.000 Never.
00:11:57.000 Childhood me believe that God in his heavens has decreed the Vikings will never win a Super Bowl.
00:12:04.000 15% 15% of Blake takes are hilariously wrong when he's like, yeah, 2024 is going to be a boring year.
00:12:11.000 Trump gets shot.
00:12:12.000 Biden replaced.
00:12:14.000 We're not even done yet.
00:12:15.000 Yeah.
00:12:15.000 And Vikings will never win a Super Bowl as one of the 85% that are 100% correct.
00:12:19.000 If I'm not mistaken, the Cardinals never won a Super Bowl, right, Tyler?
00:12:23.000 Depends on the French.
00:12:24.000 Not transfer.
00:12:25.000 I'm talking about in Arizona.
00:12:26.000 That's a bunch of people.
00:12:26.000 Yeah, in Arizona.
00:12:28.000 No.
00:12:28.000 Okay.
00:12:29.000 You can't inherit the Super Bowl from Chicago.
00:12:30.000 Well, it was, yeah, I mean, you had Chicago and then you had St. Louis.
00:12:34.000 It wasn't a Super Bowl.
00:12:34.000 It was like they have a BS title they basically stole from the pots.
00:12:38.000 It was the world champion.
00:12:39.000 It was 1925.
00:12:40.000 They didn't even have a title game in the Super Bowl.
00:12:42.000 It was just best record, and they didn't play the same number of games.
00:12:45.000 And all these dumbs.
00:12:46.000 All that matters is the Super Bowl era.
00:12:47.000 They stole it from the Packers won the first.
00:12:50.000 The Packers won the first Super Bowl.
00:12:51.000 You know, my wife, Erica, is from the Lombardi family.
00:12:54.000 Is that right?
00:12:54.000 Really?
00:12:55.000 Seriously?
00:12:56.000 That's Royal Blue.
00:12:56.000 Yeah.
00:12:57.000 Her mom's a Lombardi.
00:12:59.000 Isn't that insane?
00:12:59.000 That's crazy.
00:13:00.000 That's Royal.
00:13:01.000 Like, how close, like, is she direct bloodline?
00:13:04.000 Like, lineal descent from Vince?
00:13:05.000 Yeah.
00:13:05.000 Wow, that's crazy.
00:13:06.000 Yeah, we have all this Packers stuff at our house.
00:13:09.000 I didn't know that.
00:13:10.000 Whoa.
00:13:10.000 That's interesting.
00:13:11.000 That is wild.
00:13:12.000 And I'm from a huge Bears family, so I don't know.
00:13:14.000 Whoa.
00:13:14.000 Well, you know, the Bears have won a Super Bowl, but.
00:13:17.000 1985, best team ever assembled.
00:13:19.000 Yep, and they've proved me wrong.
00:13:21.000 Best NFL football team ever assembled.
00:13:24.000 You know, that might be true.
00:13:26.000 Yeah.
00:13:28.000 It might be true.
00:13:28.000 And they didn't win.
00:13:29.000 You know why they never won another one?
00:13:29.000 They lost one.
00:13:31.000 You know why they never won another one?
00:13:32.000 Jim McMahon.
00:13:33.000 Yeah, because Jim McMahon got body slammed by a psycho Packer.
00:13:37.000 You know, that was disgraceful.
00:13:37.000 Probably.
00:13:38.000 Even Jack agrees.
00:13:39.000 It was the greatest NFL team ever assembled.
00:13:39.000 Jack agrees.
00:13:41.000 85 Bears.
00:13:43.000 I actually have in my eighth grade yearbook, I actually have a reference to the 85 Bears from, of course, my favorite Saturday Night Live sketch of all time.
00:13:53.000 The Bears.
00:13:56.000 Yes, and the Bear.
00:13:57.000 To give an idea of how crazy good the 85 Bears were, we have not won a Super Bowl in 40 years, and it's still the only thing that middle-aged, mildly overweight men in Chicago still talk about is the 85 Bears.
00:14:09.000 They're like, you remember when?
00:14:10.000 Go Bears.
00:14:11.000 Go Bears.
00:14:14.000 A coach with a certain name that starts with a D, ends with an A, and has Icky in the middle.
00:14:14.000 So.
00:14:22.000 Yeah, I've got actually the Mike Dick sweater vest.
00:14:26.000 Oh, isn't it the best?
00:14:26.000 I have it in my closet.
00:14:28.000 So the teams that never won a Super Bowl, Arizona Cardinals, Falcons.
00:14:31.000 By the way, the Falcons ties into our previous topic.
00:14:34.000 Can you talk about that?
00:14:35.000 Wait.
00:14:36.000 What if the Patriots just surrendered at Bobby?
00:14:40.000 He's just like, why doesn't Churchill give up?
00:14:42.000 Churchill didn't have a way to win.
00:14:44.000 I'm like, yeah, it's just, I can imagine this Falcons seeding.
00:14:47.000 You're just like, why didn't 28 to three?
00:14:50.000 It was 28 to 3.
00:14:51.000 That still is the greatest.
00:14:53.000 No one's ever come back that amount.
00:14:54.000 You're supposed to not, you have to make the, you know, they were offering them to shut it down.
00:14:58.000 All right, so I have a good question for the group.
00:15:00.000 Let me list this, okay?
00:15:01.000 Cardinals, Falcons, Bills, Panthers, Bengals, Browns, Lions, Texans, Jaguars, Chargers, Vikings, Titans.
00:15:08.000 Of that list, who will be the first one to win a Super Bowl?
00:15:10.000 They've never won a Super Bowl before.
00:15:12.000 Bengals.
00:15:14.000 They lost a couple years ago.
00:15:15.000 They have Joe Burrow.
00:15:16.000 The current structure and the current composition of the teams, probably the Bengals are the best chance.
00:15:22.000 I haven't looked at the Lions.
00:15:24.000 I'm going to say Lions.
00:15:26.000 I think Coach Dan, that's his name.
00:15:28.000 Yeah, he always looked like he's ready to fight somebody.
00:15:30.000 That guy, he seems to like believers in him.
00:15:33.000 He seems like a good one.
00:15:34.000 I think the Lions could win it all this year.
00:15:36.000 They have such momentum that I think they're ready to break the curse.
00:15:39.000 And like their offensive coordinator was offered head coaching jobs, and he said second odds.
00:15:43.000 So Lions and then Bengals right after the Lions.
00:15:46.000 So Lions is plus 1,200.
00:15:48.000 No Chiefs is number one, aren't they?
00:15:49.000 I think he means other people.
00:15:50.000 Well, no, I'm talking of the teams you just lost.
00:15:51.000 Oh, yeah, okay.
00:15:52.000 So Giants right now.
00:15:53.000 Bengals, Bills.
00:15:55.000 Bills are.
00:15:56.000 The Bills are losing their edge, man.
00:15:58.000 They had so many chances.
00:15:59.000 Josh Allen is too far-esque, I think, for modern.
00:16:02.000 And the Texans?
00:16:03.000 Are the Texans on that list?
00:16:04.000 Yeah, they've never won.
00:16:05.000 No, no, no.
00:16:05.000 Yeah, the Texas used to be the Oilers.
00:16:08.000 No, no.
00:16:08.000 The Oilers are now the Tennessee Titans.
00:16:11.000 They haven't won either.
00:16:11.000 The other team.
00:16:12.000 The other team along with the Vikings that will never win is the Cleveland Browns.
00:16:17.000 They have one.
00:16:17.000 No, they have one.
00:16:18.000 They're right.
00:16:18.000 They have one.
00:16:19.000 You're right.
00:16:20.000 They've never even been to one.
00:16:21.000 But this is the order right now in Vegas.
00:16:23.000 I don't think the Vikings ever been to one.
00:16:24.000 No, they've been to four.
00:16:25.000 Oh, Vikings have been before and lost every single one.
00:16:28.000 No, no, it's not as bad as the Bills who lost five in a row.
00:16:30.000 Four in a row.
00:16:30.000 Four in a row.
00:16:31.000 Ah, get it wrong every time.
00:16:32.000 It's four in a row.
00:16:33.000 Can you imagine?
00:16:33.000 It's Chiefs, 49ers, Ravens, Eagles, Lions, Bengals, Bills, Texans, Packers.
00:16:40.000 And you know what's great about being a Packer fan, by the way?
00:16:42.000 We're like the only team that's not subject to this extremely terrible NFL policy that they're going to let private equity buy state.
00:16:49.000 Are you an owner?
00:16:51.000 No, I'm not sure.
00:16:52.000 I am not dumb enough.
00:16:53.000 Yeah, no, one of our staff member owns.
00:16:55.000 Yeah, but okay.
00:16:56.000 So don't insult this mobile.
00:16:57.000 Look, it is cool.
00:16:58.000 It's great that the Packers are publicly owned, but owning a piece of Packers stock if you are not one of the OG people from the 60s is a scam.
00:17:06.000 No, it's not.
00:17:07.000 It is a scam.
00:17:08.000 You don't get tickets.
00:17:09.000 You get into the lottery for tickets.
00:17:11.000 You can get into the lottery for tickets just without being an owner.
00:17:11.000 I think you have to.
00:17:14.000 Yeah, if you want to pay like three times markup.
00:17:16.000 And in any case, the waiting list is now so long that if you register your child, maybe their child will be able to get it after they die.
00:17:22.000 I think it's amazing that this very small, moderate, like boring Midwestern town has this powerhouse NFL team.
00:17:30.000 The only right you get to buy in Packer stock.
00:17:33.000 The only right you get is you get to go to the shareholder meeting, which they hold in Lambeau Field.
00:17:37.000 And they all vote.
00:17:38.000 Okay, that's cool.
00:17:39.000 It's cool.
00:17:39.000 But you don't have really good voting power.
00:17:41.000 Actual controlling voting power is with the people from the 50s.
00:17:45.000 Yeah, but it's politics.
00:17:46.000 It's democracy.
00:17:47.000 You know, they used to play Milwaukee.
00:17:48.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:17:49.000 And they have green and yellow days.
00:17:51.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:17:52.000 Because of the old Milwaukee teams.
00:17:53.000 They have green and yellow days where the green is all the rurals and the yellows are.
00:17:56.000 I might get mixed up.
00:17:57.000 But like all the ticket holders from Milwaukee have yellow holding days and then green ones.
00:18:02.000 And so when it's like Milwaukee, it's all a bunch of libs that go up and then it's green.
00:18:05.000 It's like all Trump country.
00:18:07.000 Since you're a Bears fan, you might not know this.
00:18:08.000 Did you know that teams are allowed to be good for more than one season in their history?
00:18:13.000 For the record, we were in a Super Bowl against the Indianapolis Colts in 2008, I think.
00:18:20.000 2006 season, so I think seven would be the year it happened.
00:18:24.000 Hey, the Bears.
00:18:25.000 No, I think it was the Super Bowl would have been 2000.
00:18:27.000 Can you guys check me?
00:18:28.000 It's the 2006 season versus 2007.
00:18:30.000 2007 is when the Patriots go 18 and 1.
00:18:34.000 I would put money on this.
00:18:35.000 I will put money on this.
00:18:37.000 It's not second.
00:18:38.000 The Super Bowl is $100.
00:18:39.000 February 2008.
00:18:41.000 No, I'm going to put money on it.
00:18:42.000 $2,700.
00:18:43.000 That was the Cardinals.
00:18:44.000 2008 was the Cardinals and Steelers.
00:18:46.000 2008?
00:18:46.000 Check it out.
00:18:47.000 That was 2008 season, 2008.
00:18:48.000 No, no, no.
00:18:49.000 It's the Super Bowl happened in February 2008.
00:18:51.000 Check it.
00:18:51.000 Oh.
00:18:52.000 Check it.
00:18:53.000 Super Bowl.
00:18:56.000 Blake's going to owe me $100.
00:18:59.000 I just looked at this.
00:19:00.000 I'm pretty sure.
00:19:00.000 Sunday, 2008, it was.
00:19:03.000 On February 4th, 2007, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears 29-77.
00:19:09.000 Are you sure it was 2008?
00:19:10.000 2007?
00:19:10.000 2008 was Arizona.
00:19:11.000 Super Bowl 41.
00:19:12.000 Look it up.
00:19:12.000 2008 was Arizona.
00:19:14.000 That was the crazy game.
00:19:15.000 Pretty much in 2008.
00:19:17.000 No, that was the Patriots and Giants crazy game.
00:19:19.000 That was the perfect Patriots year, I think, right?
00:19:21.000 Sadly, I have encyclopedic knowledge of this period of NFL.
00:19:24.000 That was like strange.
00:19:24.000 No, that's all fake.
00:19:25.000 It's all been rewritten.
00:19:26.000 Yeah.
00:19:27.000 Alternate timeline.
00:19:28.000 I was 07.
00:19:30.000 That's going to ruin my whole day.
00:19:31.000 I can't interview JD.
00:19:32.000 I'm done.
00:19:34.000 Everything's ruined.
00:19:37.000 Man, JD Vance must be a Bengals fan.
00:19:39.000 That has to be hard.
00:19:40.000 What NFL team do you hate the most?
00:19:41.000 Oh, Vikings, easy.
00:19:42.000 Dallas Cowboys.
00:19:43.000 Oh, yeah.
00:19:44.000 You know what?
00:19:44.000 There's close.
00:19:45.000 The Cowboys are so easy to hate.
00:19:46.000 It's not even close.
00:19:48.000 Why is every Cowboys fan like a 5'6 Mexican with long jean shorts?
00:19:52.000 No, that's like not true.
00:19:53.000 The actual, the interesting thing with the Cowboys is like they are very national, like.
00:19:59.000 Well, there's an explanation, actually, reasonably for this.
00:20:01.000 It's the same thing with the Dodgers.
00:20:04.000 They're like the America's team.
00:20:06.000 I've heard Mexico likes the Steelers a lot.
00:20:08.000 No, because there was for a long time in American history, there was a massive gap between basically Texas and California.
00:20:16.000 And so the Cowboys gobbled up basically all of Western United States until California.
00:20:24.000 Because there were no football teams even in California that were long-standing and well-respected.
00:20:30.000 So all of Western United States, basically the Cowboys were your team.
00:20:34.000 Before those other teams came into existence.
00:20:36.000 Also, they had such a run in the 90s that it just became America's team.
00:20:40.000 But before that, like, my dad's a Cowboys fan.
00:20:42.000 What?
00:20:43.000 Because everyone in Arizona was a Twitter.
00:20:45.000 The Cowboys fan.
00:20:46.000 Austin's entire fan.
00:20:48.000 Everybody that lived in Arizona was a Cowboys fan by default.
00:20:53.000 So the Titans, the Vikings.
00:20:55.000 you'd hate the Vikings the Vikings are just sort of you hate the Vikings more than the Bears the thing Yeah.
00:20:59.000 So the thing is, the Vikings are more consistently competitive than the Bears.
00:21:03.000 And they're also just kind of a fun butt monkey to make fun of because they're like you can make.
00:21:09.000 And in fact, they did make like an eight part documentary series on the Vikings.
00:21:14.000 Many failures.
00:21:15.000 The Bears, it's just like, oh, here's their 87th quarterback of the last seasons.
00:21:21.000 See, and they're like, oh, Jay Cutler just managed to throw the ball for 3,200 yards and 12 touchdowns, thereby cementing the greatest offensive season by any Bears quarterback in history.
00:21:32.000 Do you think, so of this list, Lions, I agree.
00:21:38.000 The Bills are losing it.
00:21:39.000 The Falcons, man, that's such a sad story, isn't it?
00:21:43.000 Well, it depends on your point of view.
00:21:44.000 Like, the Falcons, so remember, I don't hate the Falcons.
00:21:47.000 I don't hate the Falcons, but I will be appreciative that in the 2017 Super Bowl, this is right after the 2016 election, the media basically decided that the Falcons were the Lib America team because they represented Atlanta.
00:22:00.000 Yes.
00:22:00.000 They were like, you know, the blue city in a red state.
00:22:04.000 They were.
00:22:04.000 That's why I was cheering for the Patriots.
00:22:06.000 And they were like, they kind of made it a race thing.
00:22:07.000 Like, they represented black Americans.
00:22:09.000 And then the Patriots were the white team.
00:22:11.000 It was very bizarre white.
00:22:12.000 Even though they're from Massachusetts.
00:22:13.000 Yeah, so they're from this blue state.
00:22:14.000 But on the other hand, Belichick, Belichick wrote a letter endorsing Trump that was private.
00:22:18.000 That's right.
00:22:19.000 And then I just love this story that the Trump campaign asks him, can we release this?
00:22:23.000 And he's like, oh, oh, you want to release it?
00:22:24.000 Here, let me rewrite the letter to be more effusively positive.
00:22:29.000 Like, I didn't want to suck up too much in private, but I'm going to suck up to the max in public.
00:22:33.000 That's so funny.
00:22:34.000 Oh, it's such a great story.
00:22:36.000 I was there when Trump first read the letter at a New Hampshire rally the day before the election.
00:22:40.000 I was traveling with Trump that night.
00:22:42.000 We almost won.
00:22:42.000 And he just got on Instagram.
00:22:45.000 I'll never forget that the moment I realized it could happen.
00:22:50.000 There were two things that'll always stick out with me.
00:22:52.000 My friend who was doing poll watching in New Hampshire just tells me, Blake, we're getting these random hunters from rural New Hampshire who haven't voted in 12 years and they're coming out and a lot of them are coming out.
00:23:07.000 I remember that.
00:23:08.000 And then I also remember seeing Ross Dalthat tweeting.
00:23:10.000 This was at the exact moment her odds peaked on the New York Times dial for Hillary.
00:23:15.000 And he's just like, you know, I'm looking at the map, guys, and I just don't.
00:23:17.000 Florida doesn't seem that bad.
00:23:19.000 Like, it seems like the rural numbers are really good.
00:23:21.000 And that's the exact moment it just starts swerving the other way.
00:23:24.000 Always remember it.
00:23:25.000 So you can find my tweet.
00:23:27.000 I owe Blake $100, which I will pay.
00:23:29.000 And then I will give somebody $25 if they can find my tweet from 2016 of my day before election tweet that I predict my prediction.
00:23:40.000 If you could find it.
00:23:41.000 No one ever gives me credit for this.
00:23:44.000 What I predicted the day before the election.
00:23:46.000 Do you remember this?
00:23:47.000 And I got so much hate the day before.
00:23:51.000 And because I was traveling with the campaign, I was like, I think Trump's going to win.
00:23:56.000 I think he's going to win Michigan.
00:23:57.000 And people came after me.
00:23:58.000 And I put it, by the way, in writing, published the tweet.
00:24:01.000 It was the day.
00:24:02.000 I've got it.
00:24:02.000 I've got it.
00:24:03.000 November 7th, 2016.
00:24:04.000 Final prediction for Blake $125.
00:24:07.000 This is great.
00:24:08.000 This is one of my better days.
00:24:09.000 Yeah.
00:24:09.000 You got to put that.
00:24:10.000 That's really impressive.
00:24:11.000 Final prediction.
00:24:11.000 Michigan going red, bold, but it could happen.
00:24:14.000 You heard it here first.
00:24:16.000 And then, you know what you also did?
00:24:17.000 You predicted that Wisconsin and Pennsylvania would be blue.
00:24:21.000 I know.
00:24:21.000 You didn't believe enough, Charlie.
00:24:22.000 I didn't get the whole map right, but I did predict.
00:24:24.000 You're a traitor.
00:24:25.000 You abandoned Trump.
00:24:26.000 That's how that was.
00:24:27.000 I called Michigan, though.
00:24:28.000 That's pretty legit, though.
00:24:29.000 Yeah, we had done.
00:24:31.000 I think I called Michigan, too.
00:24:32.000 I think my final map, we had a contest at the Daily Caller, and I got very close to the actual electoral vote total, but I was off in the States.
00:24:40.000 I gave him Michigan.
00:24:41.000 I think I did Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada.
00:24:43.000 So my map is almost the same as yours, but I had Nevada, too.
00:24:46.000 I got to get Blake on like an autopay of Venmo at this right at this point.
00:24:51.000 So NFL season, who do you guys think is going to win the Super Bowl?
00:24:56.000 I'm going to be cheering for and pulling for the Lions.
00:24:59.000 I agree.
00:25:00.000 I think Lions are.
00:25:01.000 You've given up on the Bears already.
00:25:03.000 Look, it's fruitless at this point.
00:25:05.000 I mean, we're going to be disappointed.
00:25:06.000 Caleb Williams will go Terra's ACL in the third week.
00:25:08.000 Are you really going to be, is disappointed the word you want to go for here?
00:25:12.000 Was there hope?
00:25:14.000 Not really.
00:25:15.000 Have you had hope since Brian Erlacher retired?
00:25:18.000 I like him actually.
00:25:18.000 He's such a sweet guy.
00:25:19.000 He's super conservative.
00:25:20.000 He lives in Arizona, by the way.
00:25:21.000 He's really right-wing.
00:25:25.000 I'm hoping that the Bears actually have a surprise season.
00:25:28.000 I don't think they're going to go to the bottom.
00:25:28.000 Super football is better when the Bears are good.
00:25:31.000 Yeah.
00:25:31.000 Because, first of all, they're one of the most loved franchises, and one of America's biggest cities is on fire.
00:25:36.000 We've just been this dormant football beast for like the last 20 years.
00:25:41.000 You want that.
00:25:42.000 I mean, like, enough of this, like, by the way, Kansas City, like, okay, there's only so much population base there.
00:25:46.000 It's the same like 100,000 people that go to the games.
00:25:48.000 Like, okay, great, fine, terrific.
00:25:50.000 Like, we, the teams I want to see suffer, Dallas Cowboys cannot stand them.
00:25:57.000 Don't sleep on the Dolphins, by the way.
00:25:58.000 I think the Dolphins are going to be good.
00:26:00.000 I mean, Dolphins put up 70 on a team last year.
00:26:02.000 That was a good idea.
00:26:03.000 Kuwait Tagoviola is the real deal.
00:26:05.000 I'm telling you, that guy can ball.
00:26:07.000 I could not have pronounced that name on.
00:26:09.000 I'm telling you, CJ Stroud, the Houston Texans, if he stays healthy, will be one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
00:26:16.000 Texans are going to be good.
00:26:17.000 I'm really pulling that the Cardinals figure it out this year.
00:26:19.000 I think they got to get rid of Kyler Murray.
00:26:21.000 I think it sucks.
00:26:22.000 We're going to see.
00:26:25.000 Marvin Harrison Jr. could be special.
00:26:27.000 He's looking special.
00:26:27.000 They should sign him for a 20-year card.
00:26:29.000 Could be special.
00:26:29.000 He's really good.
00:26:31.000 It was a good game.
00:26:31.000 Kyler Murray's the most overpaid, overrated person.
00:26:34.000 We also have some good guy.
00:26:36.000 Our tight end, Trey McBride, I think, is going to be really good.
00:26:38.000 So we'll see.
00:26:38.000 I'm pulling for the Cardinals.
00:26:40.000 Oh, and I'm pulling for the Broncos to go 500.
00:26:42.000 Bo Nix.
00:26:43.000 Yep, Bo Nicks.
00:26:44.000 Let's think of the other teams I hate.
00:26:46.000 Oh, I want the New York Jets to do well.
00:26:47.000 I have more teams I'm cheering for than other people.
00:26:49.000 Jack is saying we should each do a quick map prediction of the election if we want.
00:26:53.000 No, we're not doing that.
00:26:54.000 We are not.
00:26:55.000 No, I'm not sure.
00:26:56.000 Do not put that out there.
00:26:57.000 Jack, you've been quiet for some time.
00:26:58.000 How are the Eagles doing?
00:27:00.000 Well, so the Eagles lately, the biggest thing this week was this whole thing with the Kamala Harris ad, like the fake, they claimed was a fake ad that went up.
00:27:09.000 I don't know if we have the image saying that Kamala Harris is the official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:27:15.000 And this was going up at at least one bus station in right in like Center City, Philadelphia.
00:27:21.000 And it had the website on it.
00:27:24.000 I think it was like PhiladelphiaEagles.com slash vote.
00:27:27.000 And it had a picture, sort of like animated picture of Kamala Harris in an Eagles jersey, in the Eagles helmet.
00:27:34.000 And the Eagles put out the statement saying, oh, well, you know, it's not her.
00:27:39.000 It's not going to be her, et cetera.
00:27:41.000 This is not approved.
00:27:42.000 But then there was a guy who, and we got it.
00:27:46.000 What was his name?
00:27:47.000 The mole.
00:27:47.000 He was Christian Moellar, who said in the comments, because so this other guy who's a Trump supporter from Philly went over and started like plastering over the Eagle over this quote-unquote fake ad.
00:28:00.000 And then Christian Mollar, a Twitter user, and you know, shout out to Lara Loomer for catching this, by the way, that said in the comments, how dare this guy cover up the unofficial ad or cover up an ad like this?
00:28:12.000 And if you don't like it, that's too bad.
00:28:13.000 And people are like, wait, who's this guy saying it's a real ad?
00:28:16.000 And it turns out that he was the director of team relationships for the Eagles and actually worked at the Eagles for like 25 years.
00:28:26.000 So as someone who would be very well within the know of actually knowing whether or not this was a real ad.
00:28:32.000 So he subsequently locked his Twitter account and it's become this sort of like whole firestorm as to whether or not this guy had potentially actually approved whatever this thing is to go up.
00:28:44.000 I have no sympathy for the Eagles and I hope they lose every game and that they sell their franchise for parts.
00:28:52.000 You want to bring back the Stegles?
00:28:54.000 Do you know about this story?
00:28:55.000 I don't know.
00:28:56.000 I think the Eagles might be one of my most hated franchises.
00:29:00.000 So in World War II, due to budget shortages, the Eagles and the Steelers temporarily merged into one team that they called the Steagles.
00:29:10.000 It's an all-Pennsylvania team.
00:29:11.000 Yeah.
00:29:12.000 I think it's more the fans than it is the actual fans are so aggressive.
00:29:20.000 But this Kamala thing this week, I want to get answers.
00:29:22.000 I need answers from Jack.
00:29:24.000 Jack should not be able to do it.
00:29:25.000 Again, by the way, like if people, if people want an understanding of who Pesobic is, just understand that I grew up as a Philadelphia sports fan.
00:29:35.000 So that should just be a lot of fun.
00:29:37.000 Jack, I need answers on this on this.
00:29:39.000 I need answers on this Kamala ad.
00:29:41.000 Who produced it?
00:29:42.000 How it got out there.
00:29:44.000 This is going to go down like the pipe bombs in Washington, D.C., the RNC Pipe Bomber.
00:29:48.000 So we're tracking down.
00:29:50.000 I've already got people that are looking into this guy's family because it turns out that this Christian Molnar guy is also from Narstown, Pennsylvania, which is the exact same town that I'm from, just outside Philly.
00:30:00.000 So we're tracking it down.
00:30:02.000 Christian Molnar, stay tuned.
00:30:04.000 You don't know who's going to be reaching out on Facebook.
00:30:06.000 Could be one of Posto's people.
00:30:08.000 Uh-oh.
00:30:09.000 John Fetterman was right all along.
00:30:10.000 Play Cut 80.
00:30:11.000 And the Eagles are so much better than the Eagles.
00:30:20.000 Every time I hear the Eagles, I think of them.
00:30:22.000 I don't get how they couldn't just make him like, that's clearly the smartest Eagles fan in human history.
00:30:27.000 So they should have made him like the head coach or something.
00:30:29.000 No, he should be the official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:30:31.000 It should be Fetterman, official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:30:36.000 He's not even from like the Eagles part of Pennsylvania.
00:30:39.000 That's what's so disingenuous.
00:30:41.000 He's from decidedly Steelers territory.
00:30:43.000 So help me, just really quick as we wrap up here.
00:30:46.000 Blake, I think the NFL is kind of getting its mojo back.
00:30:49.000 It's a thing now that has a lot of dominance.
00:30:51.000 It has more chatter.
00:30:52.000 Would you agree?
00:30:53.000 It really took a nosedive in 2020 and people thought like, oh, football's going down.
00:30:58.000 It feels bigger than ever.
00:31:00.000 It really is.
00:31:01.000 The NFL is like.
00:31:03.000 It's like state run relationships.
00:31:05.000 It's just the perfect sport.
00:31:06.000 It really is.
00:31:07.000 So it's like unkillable.
00:31:08.000 It's just, it's so like.
00:31:09.000 But am I right?
00:31:10.000 The only way they can screw it up.
00:31:12.000 The only way they can screw it up, frankly, is I think if they just get too greedy, like they keep wanting to add more games on more days.
00:31:20.000 Brazil, like, what are you doing?
00:31:21.000 I don't mind the Brazil thing.
00:31:23.000 You know, you do one game here, like every have every team do one game overseas while you've got this 17-game season.
00:31:28.000 So then everyone's eight and eight and then one international game.
00:31:31.000 I think that's fine.
00:31:32.000 But I think where they're really kind of taking risks are they, you'll see a few things.
00:31:38.000 One, they'll try to put games on too many days.
00:31:41.000 And kind of one of the things the NFL has is they've just basically made Sunday, like, you know.
00:31:46.000 There's only two days.
00:31:47.000 You go to church.
00:31:47.000 Tuesday and Wednesday are the only days without that game.
00:31:50.000 Yeah, well, yeah, no.
00:31:50.000 And it's making it worse and worse.
00:31:52.000 We have a Friday game now.
00:31:54.000 We have a Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
00:31:55.000 Sunday.
00:31:56.000 You go to church.
00:31:57.000 Monday.
00:31:57.000 You go watch football.
00:31:58.000 Or you just watch football, you know, depending on your point of view.
00:32:01.000 And then there's a Monday night game if you're an obsessive.
00:32:03.000 And them colonizing that one day a week actually is like the perfect level of dominance without it drowning everything out.
00:32:09.000 And the other thing is the NFL is the last thing that's on normal television.
00:32:15.000 And where I could see them screwing up the golden goose is they let a bunch of games go on Peacock or Amazon Prime or Netflix or something stupid like that.
00:32:29.000 And suddenly, too many NFL games are on some bullcrap subscription service that you have to buy rather than just on normal TV.
00:32:37.000 And I think that's how you ruin it.
00:32:38.000 You make the NFL too exclusive.
00:32:41.000 The tickets are already really expensive.
00:32:43.000 Like you never really go to an NFL game anymore unless you just love setting tickets on fire.
00:32:47.000 And I think that is setting money on fire.
00:32:50.000 And I think that is the long-term hazard.
00:32:52.000 But the actual sport is so good.
00:32:55.000 They've kind of got through the political harrowing period.
00:32:58.000 You can actually have a right-wing player again, and it's not the end of the flipping world.
00:33:04.000 They survived all of that.
00:33:06.000 They have pretty likable stars.
00:33:10.000 I feel like players even get arrested a bit less than they used to.
00:33:13.000 Progress.
00:33:17.000 And also, college football is screwing it up.
00:33:19.000 Sorry, Charlie.
00:33:19.000 I've got bad news.
00:33:20.000 College football is dumb now.
00:33:23.000 No, it's not.
00:33:24.000 College football is every.
00:33:25.000 I just don't get the whole, like, oh, the great amateur sportsmanship when every single player is this mercenary for hire on a one-year contract for whatever booster we'll take.
00:33:34.000 It was an inevitable thing.
00:33:36.000 There's no other way to do college football in the modern social media era and with the Supreme Court decision.
00:33:41.000 We should just blame the Supreme Court, Blake.
00:33:43.000 Blame the Supreme Court.
00:33:44.000 I just with name image like this.
00:33:45.000 I'm going to make people really mad.
00:33:47.000 I just, I think college football has outlived its usefulness.
00:33:50.000 It's now it mainly exists to be like, we can't fix our schools because then it would screw up the hecking football team, man.
00:33:56.000 That's been that way for 20 years.
00:33:58.000 But it's worser now.
00:33:59.000 Much worser.
00:34:01.000 Is that a word worser?
00:34:02.000 It is now.
00:34:03.000 Yeah, I was going to say the Dartmouth grad is using good grammar.
00:34:05.000 It's probably a word worse.
00:34:06.000 We have to go.
00:34:08.000 Thank you, guys.
00:34:09.000 So final Super Bowl picks.
00:34:10.000 I think the Bears will not win.
00:34:12.000 I want the Lions to win.
00:34:15.000 Blake?
00:34:16.000 I'm going to go total homer.
00:34:17.000 Jordan Loves going to pull it all together.
00:34:20.000 He's overrated.
00:34:20.000 We'll get our one Super Bowl win that we get with each of our Hall of Fame quarterbacks, and then he'll be the quarterback for the next 18 years, and then he'll go play on the Jets for a year and then the Vikings.
00:34:29.000 Tyler.
00:34:29.000 Oh, man.
00:34:30.000 I would love to see a Lions Jets Super Bowl.
00:34:34.000 Man, if we could live through some of the things that we're doing.
00:34:35.000 The Jets are not that good, though.
00:34:36.000 I understand, but just like some miraculous thing happens.
00:34:42.000 Is Aaron Rodgers going to play on Monday?
00:34:43.000 Yeah.
00:34:44.000 Are you sure?
00:34:44.000 That's what I'm thinking.
00:34:45.000 He'll play on Monday, and they're playing the Niners.
00:34:47.000 I don't know how it's been confused.
00:34:48.000 They're playing the Niners, and the guy who injured him in the first game last year is now on the Niners.
00:34:54.000 How funny would that be?
00:34:56.000 Are you kidding me?
00:34:56.000 I believe it's the Niners they're playing, but whoever it is, the player who injured him is on the opposing team again.
00:35:00.000 A Lions Jets Super Bowl would be great for America.
00:35:03.000 Did he play in any preseason games?
00:35:05.000 No, but he didn't play in preseason in Green Bay either.
00:35:08.000 Rodgers doesn't like playing.
00:35:10.000 Yes, he does.
00:35:10.000 He's such a baller.
00:35:11.000 I want to meet that guy.
00:35:13.000 I want to be like Darren Rodgers on my list of someone I want to be friends with.
00:35:15.000 Even though I hear he's a really bad person.
00:35:18.000 If he just comes in, all you have to do is when he shows up, you say, you know, you're shorter than I expected.
00:35:22.000 And he gets like really butthurt about this if you say that.
00:35:24.000 Is he shorter?
00:35:25.000 Is he not?
00:35:25.000 He's not that tall.
00:35:26.000 He's actually pretty.
00:35:27.000 He's like 6'3 or something, but people kind of sometimes expect these NFL players to just be gigantic.
00:35:31.000 And, you know, he's not like a super, he's not a linebacker or something.
00:35:33.000 Well, the internet says he's 6'2.
00:35:35.000 I understand.
00:35:35.000 By the way, did they fix my height yet on Wikipedia?
00:35:38.000 What is this?
00:35:38.000 They did!
00:35:41.000 That's amazing.
00:35:42.000 Our PR campaign worked.
00:35:43.000 Isn't that hilarious?
00:35:47.000 We ridiculed them.
00:35:49.000 That is so funny.
00:35:51.000 They said I was 6'1, and now they say I'm 6'5.
00:35:55.000 That is so funny.
00:35:56.000 All right.
00:35:57.000 Very happy for you.
00:35:57.000 Jack, you want the Eagles to win?
00:35:59.000 Birds, Birds all the way.
00:36:01.000 Green Gang.
00:36:01.000 But of course, I do also have to say, Let's get back to our scenario time, folks.
00:36:07.000 Bears versus the assembled choir of heavenly angels.
00:36:10.000 The whole choir?
00:36:10.000 Yeah, you know, the star of the char from the whole nine yards.
00:36:14.000 Angels.
00:36:15.000 Angels, but it's close.
00:36:17.000 And then they cut to Chris, Chris Farley, and he's got that giant stein of beer.
00:36:20.000 And he's just like, Bears.
00:36:23.000 The bears.
00:36:25.000 We'll see what Caleb Williams is made of.
00:36:27.000 Not Super Bowl.
00:36:28.000 In the next decade, Bo Nicks will win a Super Bowl.
00:36:32.000 God bless, guys.
00:36:33.000 See you soon.
00:36:33.000 Enjoy the NFL.

00:37:41.000 Okay, the Super Bowl.
00:37:43.000 Was it me or just felt a little anticlimactic?
00:37:46.000 Let me just kind of air some of my grievances.
00:37:48.000 Number one, what was with the lower third?
00:37:52.000 Do you know what I'm saying, Andrew?
00:37:54.000 The Philadelphia, the little lower third, the scoreboard.
00:37:57.000 It looked as if someone made it in clipart.
00:38:00.000 Do you know, usually they have all these opulent, elaborate-I didn't like it.
00:38:05.000 I know that we've all agreed as a society.
00:38:07.000 No one took a vote that after trying to the left and trying to the right and trying to the upper left and the right, that the bottom is the best.
00:38:14.000 I just, I thought it was very underwhelming.
00:38:16.000 I will say, I think, Andrew, thank you for bringing this up.
00:38:19.000 I think Tom Brady did great.
00:38:21.000 I thought Tom Brady was a 10.
00:38:23.000 I thought Tom Brady was a 10.
00:38:26.000 I thought Tom Brady was way better than I anticipated.
00:38:30.000 And dare I say, I thought Tom Brady was even better than Tony Romo.
00:38:33.000 I know Tony Romo is, you know, I think Tony Roma gets a lot of, he gets a lot of mixed reaction.
00:38:38.000 I thought Tom was terrific.
00:38:40.000 I've always been a huge Tom Brady fan, but he just seemed as if he was having fun.
00:38:44.000 He was having a blast.
00:38:47.000 And I think Tom Brady was also enjoying it because he was like, ha ha, Mahomes, you're not the goat.
00:38:52.000 And he obviously channeled a lot of his Super Bowl experiences, but look, that's not easy.
00:38:58.000 You got to be honest, like doing color commentary without a lot of experience on that.
00:39:03.000 That's not easy.
00:39:03.000 I thought Tom Brady crushed it.
00:39:05.000 I thought he did very well.
00:39:06.000 Over 100 plus million people were watching.
00:39:09.000 Can I also just mention the commercials were terrible.
00:39:13.000 I thought they were so underwhelming.
00:39:16.000 And I thought the best commercial was the food conspiracy one, the Matthew McConaughey.
00:39:22.000 Do you know what I'm talking about?
00:39:24.000 I thought that was the best one because it also had the Bears in it.
00:39:27.000 But the greatest moment of the Super Bowl, to great Daisy and Emma's delight, was when finally, I don't know if Taylor Swift has ever gotten booed.
00:39:35.000 About time.
00:39:36.000 Taylor Swift had no idea what was happening after getting booed when shown on the Jumbotron.
00:39:40.000 Play cut 41.
00:39:53.000 Oh, they're booing her.
00:39:55.000 And I love when she says, like, what is going on?
00:39:58.000 She's never been booed in her life.
00:40:00.000 And look, I just, I think it's well deserved.
00:40:04.000 She went after MAGA and endorsed Joe Biden.
00:40:08.000 And she's not exactly in favorable company there.
00:40:12.000 Let's put 56 up there.
00:40:14.000 This is the meme.
00:40:16.000 It's pretty good.
00:40:17.000 President Trump got applauded.
00:40:20.000 Look, regardless of your opinions on Taylor Swift, it was a fun moment, but it really represented a cultural shift.
00:40:26.000 Represented a cultural shift where President Trump gets roaring applause and Taylor Swift, not as much.
00:40:32.000 Here's President Trump getting applauded.
00:40:33.000 Cut 42.
00:40:45.000 And then there was this Nike ad saying that women were oppressed.
00:40:49.000 Overall, I will say, though, that the advertisements were probably more pro-American, more pro-family, and a little less woke than I would have anticipated in previous years.
00:41:00.000 But it just seems like the spark and the creativity was largely missing from them.
00:41:04.000 You could see them clearly trying to signal, but a lot of the ads were just bland.
00:41:10.000 They weren't boundary pushing.
00:41:12.000 They weren't that entertaining.
00:41:14.000 Some of them, I even said, I said, I know that ad.
00:41:17.000 They run that on regular TV.
00:41:18.000 It's the McConaughey Salesforce ad.
00:41:20.000 They've run that many times.
00:41:22.000 And, you know, they say that the Super Bowl reflects kind of where American culture is.
00:41:27.000 And here's the best summary I could give.
00:41:32.000 We are in progress of exercising the woke, but we're not there yet.
00:41:36.000 We're in progress of expelling it from our system, but we're not there yet.
00:41:40.000 The vibe ship is clear, but we still have a lot of work to do.
00:41:45.000 And by the way, so many of the ads were released before the Super Bowl, so it wasn't exciting to watch it for the first time like it used to be.
00:41:50.000 But I mean, if I was a marketing agent, I would release it ahead of time because you get all these extra views and then you get the views at the Super Bowl.
00:41:56.000 So releasing ahead of time, I think is actually super smart.
00:42:00.000 Overall, I was thrilled to see the Kansas City Chiefs lose.
00:42:05.000 I hate to say it.
00:42:06.000 I like Mahomes.
00:42:07.000 I think he's a great guy.
00:42:08.000 I like Harrison Butker.
00:42:10.000 Got to know him.
00:42:11.000 But seeing the Philadelphia, again, I'm not exactly an Eagles fan.
00:42:15.000 I think they burnt Philly to a crisp.
00:42:17.000 There's going to have to be like a rebuilding plan, a national stimulus plan.
00:42:21.000 I think FEMA is going to have to visit Philly after what happened last night.
00:42:25.000 But I was happiest of all for Jalen Hurts, Jalen Hurts.
00:42:29.000 In 2018, I remember he was benched in the middle of the national championship where Tua Tagamaola took over, and then he ended up having to transfer to Oklahoma.
00:42:37.000 He never gave up.
00:42:38.000 He fought for every inch.
00:42:39.000 I've been following his career for years.
00:42:41.000 People thought he was no good.
00:42:43.000 And now he is Super Bowl MVP and Super Bowl champion.
00:42:45.000 And they can never take that away from him.
00:42:48.000 God bless you guys.
