The Charlie Kirk Show - Could Cartel Kidnappings Come to America?

00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.

00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.

00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.

00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.

00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.

00:00:28.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.

00:00:31.000 Go start a turning point USA college chapter.

00:00:33.000 Go start a turning point USA high school chapter.

00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.

00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.

00:00:45.000 Here I am.

00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.

00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:49.000 Here we go.

00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts, and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.

00:01:09.000 All right, welcome back to The Charlie Kirk Show.

00:01:12.000 It is February 5th, just days before the big game.

00:01:16.000 Blake, good morning.

00:01:17.000 I'm so excited for the physically large game.

00:01:20.000 I love it.

00:01:22.000 We've been finding different ways to say different things for certain reasons.

00:01:27.000 Prominent national organization is very territorial about the names of its physically large games.

00:01:32.000 And we're totally fine with that.

00:01:34.000 We are very fine with that.

00:01:36.000 I cannot wait for the All American halftime show that'll be at approximately 8 p.m. Eastern, right here on Real America's Voice.

00:01:46.000 Robin Parker Sig, huge shout out to you, gentlemen.

00:01:49.000 You have believed in us and in this vision from the very get go.

00:01:53.000 Real America's Voice is going to be playing that live.

00:01:56.000 And I think they've got some plans like before and after.

00:01:59.000 Maybe I'll.

00:02:00.000 I'll give him a call and see how I can help.

00:02:02.000 It was briefly mentioned to me.

00:02:04.000 So it's going to be huge.

00:02:06.000 I've seen the rehearsal.

00:02:07.000 I have actually seen some of it, and it's awesome.

00:02:13.000 It's like amazing, actually.

00:02:16.000 I don't want to oversell it because, you know, then there's nowhere to go but down, but it's really good.

00:02:22.000 Really, really good.

00:02:23.000 And it's beautiful, too.

00:02:26.000 The team has just done a tremendous job.

00:02:28.000 Another piece of news here Erica Kirk was up with.

00:02:31.000 Governor Greg Gianforte in the great state of Montana yesterday celebrating a new state partnership with that state to get a Club America chapter in every chapter, every high school rather, across that state.

00:02:45.000 So add that to the list of Texas, add that to the list of Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma.

00:02:52.000 So we're making huge, huge moves there.

00:02:56.000 So thank you to the governor, Greg Gianforte, who's known Charlie since he was 18.

00:03:01.000 So That's a long time relationship there.

00:03:03.000 Very proud, honored to be doing that.

00:03:05.000 We've got thousands and thousands of high school chapters.

00:03:08.000 That's the way you think about the ice walkouts, you think about the indoctrination of the Grammys and Hollywood and all that stuff.

00:03:15.000 And meanwhile, Turning Point, we've got an All American halftime show celebrating faith, family, freedom, amazing content that's made for TV concert experience that's good for the whole family, celebrating faith, family, freedom.

00:03:29.000 And then we've got high school chapters rolling out all across the country.

00:03:32.000 So, um, I like to think that Charlie would be smiling down on us, and I believe he is.

00:03:38.000 We want to get into some rather less positive news, unfortunately, for a few reasons.

00:03:45.000 I actually think it has national importance, and that is the abduction of Nancy Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie's mom.

00:03:54.000 So, Savannah Guthrie is the host of The Today Show, she's been hosting that show since 2011. 0.96

00:04:00.000 She was a co host of the Third Hour, chief legal correspondent, later becoming a main co anchor in 2012.

00:04:08.000 She previously served as a White House correspondent for NBC News from 2008 to 2011.

00:04:14.000 And what's kind of tragic about this is it ties into another current event, in that she was supposed to be hosting the 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Italy.

00:04:23.000 So obviously that's not going to be happening because her mother, Nancy, who lived in Tucson or lives in Tucson, where she grew up, where she grew up. 0.79

00:04:31.000 So just down the road from us here, really close.

00:04:34.000 Really close to the border, she was abducted from her house.

00:04:39.000 It looks like sometime on Sunday, she failed to show up at church as she always did.

00:04:47.000 And that was so striking to those who are used to seeing her that they immediately reported her as missing.

00:04:55.000 And they went to check on her, missing.

00:04:57.000 So when I heard this story, Blake, and it's going to sound weird, but you were the first person I thought of.

00:05:04.000 And the reason I say that is because when Charlie was here and we were living through Biden's border invasion, we kept warning, you kept warning specifically about the rise of kidnappings in South America and how we were basically opening our doors to the same culture here.

00:05:22.000 It's a long term thing, is that as the border between the US and Latin America would break down, I feared, and we don't know, just to clarify, we don't know all the facts here.

00:05:33.000 So this is still speculative on our part, but they do think a kidnapping here.

00:05:37.000 Is very plausible.

00:05:38.000 They seem to have a ransom note of some kind.

00:05:41.000 They think it might be real.

00:05:43.000 I believe her pacemaker has stopped updating with her Apple Watch, and so it seems like she's out of range of it.

00:05:50.000 So, various reasons they think it's real.

00:05:52.000 And a thing that this got us thinking of is in Latin America, a very common crime relative to the United States is kidnapping specifically for ransom.

00:06:03.000 In Venezuela, for example, we have an image of this.

00:06:05.000 We do.

00:06:05.000 Throw that up.

00:06:07.000 In Venezuela, under the Chavez government, they had a breakdown in law and order.

00:06:11.000 And so they started having thousands of kidnappings per year.

00:06:14.000 That would be like having thousands in a nation the size of California, basically.

00:06:18.000 It increased under Hugo Chavez by 1,716%.

00:06:23.000 Exactly.

00:06:24.000 Abductions.

00:06:25.000 And that's like going into 2011.

00:06:26.000 I don't know what the rate was over the past 15 years, but I think it remained high.

00:06:30.000 And it's not just Venezuela.

00:06:32.000 Mexico, I think in 2022 or 23, they had 100,000 missing people in a year.

00:06:37.000 That's like a one in a thousand chance of going missing each year in Mexico.

00:06:41.000 I think a lot of that gets resolved eventually, but that's just the thing.

00:06:44.000 It's such a regular industry.

00:06:46.000 In the US, missing people are usually like it could be a custody dispute or it could be someone kind of ran away and they just genuinely disappeared or like.

00:06:57.000 Tragically, you have kidnappings that unfortunately end in murders, but you don't see too much kidnapping for ransom as a business model.

00:07:04.000 And I just need to be clear for accuracy's sake we don't know who took her.

00:07:08.000 They don't have any leads, they have no suspects.

00:07:11.000 I mean, they are trying to get as much help from the community, ring cameras, all of those things.

00:07:18.000 The FBI has been called in, Kash Patel is in.

00:07:22.000 President Trump has spoken with Savannah Guthrie, saying that the full force of the federal government, law enforcement is going to be there helping.

00:07:29.000 There's also been a rant.

00:07:31.000 Yeah, there it is.

00:07:32.000 There's the True Social saying that the president spoke with Savannah Guthrie.

00:07:36.000 I think that that's really touching.

00:07:37.000 I'm sure Savannah Guthrie is a liberal person, probably not a supporter, but here in her time of need.

00:07:43.000 And, you know, they've even gotten a ransom note that now they can't say that it's 100% with 100% certainty that it is accurate, that it is authentic.

00:07:55.000 But there are some reasons to believe that it probably is.

00:07:59.000 Let's go ahead and play this from a local official.

00:08:01.000 Affiliate in Tucson, KOLD 13 News.

00:08:04.000 They are the ones that received the alleged ransom note tied to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.

00:08:11.000 And the station's anchor, Mary Coleman, here tells CNN why she believes this might not be a hoax.

00:08:18.000 485.

00:08:19.000 There are a few things that we can share as far as what the contents were.

00:08:23.000 A lot of it is information that only someone who is holding her for ransom would know.

00:08:28.000 Some very sensitive information and things that people who weren't there when she was taken captive.

00:08:34.000 Would know.

00:08:35.000 So those are things that are concerning.

00:08:37.000 We immediately sent that information over to the sheriff's department, and they're, of course, looking into the legitimacy of it.

00:08:43.000 It also included a dollar amount to deadline, and again, other specifics that only Guthrie's abductor might know.

00:08:49.000 So that definitely raised some red flags.

00:08:52.000 So, just to repeat, it says the alleged ransom note included a dollar amount, a deadline, and again, other specifics that only Guthrie's abductor might know.

00:09:04.000 And there is, we have an image.

00:09:06.000 This is a blood splatter down, I believe, on the front porch of the home, which I've been told is sort of like low velocity blood splatter.

00:09:21.000 So, something like maybe from a bloody nose.

00:09:24.000 And, uh, You know, so it's as opposed to a gunshot or something like that, that would be like more high velocity splatter.

00:09:32.000 So the hope is that she's still alive and that she is being held somewhere, hopefully held for ransom.

00:09:40.000 So let's go through this timeline.

00:09:42.000 So Saturday night, January 31st, 2026, at about 9 30, Nancy Guthrie, 84, arrives at her home in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson, Arizona.

00:09:53.000 So it's kind of outside of town, a little bit remote.

00:09:56.000 She had spent the evening having dinner with family, including her daughter Annie, who drove her home.

00:10:01.000 It is believed Annie is the last person to have seen her mother.

00:10:04.000 Sunday, February 1st, so that was late at night.

00:10:07.000 2 a.m. in the morning, Guthrie's pacemaker syncs with her Apple devices at home for the last time.

00:10:13.000 Investigators believe she is taken out of range around this time.

00:10:17.000 11 a.m. Nancy fails to arrive at regular church service, a member of which calls her family.

00:10:24.000 11 10 family members arrive at her home to find it empty.

00:10:28.000 12 15, Pima County Sheriff Department receives a missing person call.

00:10:33.000 Deputies respond and find Nancy's car phone and wallet still inside the home.

00:10:38.000 Blood drops are found leading outside toward the driveway.

00:10:42.000 The doorbell camera had been removed.

00:10:44.000 So I think that's a really important detail there that the doorbell camera had been removed.

00:10:50.000 By Monday, Sheriff Chris Nanos says he believes Nancy Guthrie was taken against her will approximately between 9 30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

00:10:59.000 So it's a pretty big window.

00:11:01.000 Although that pacemaker.

00:11:03.000 Syncing with the Apple devices at 2 a.m. for the last time would probably indicate that it happened after 2 a.m.

00:11:10.000 So the home is treated as a potential crime scene and homicide detectives are involved.

00:11:14.000 And now you've got all of federal law enforcement.

00:11:16.000 Christy Nome was doing some border wall visits down in the Tucson sector.

00:11:23.000 So she's now been dispatched to help.

00:11:25.000 Another key that I think is, you know, a lot of people I haven't heard people bring up, but is that Customs and Border Patrol are involved, which again, it could just be.

00:11:37.000 All hands on deck.

00:11:38.000 We'll learn more.

00:11:39.000 But we speculate on this for a reason because it is, just to cite other examples, is here in Phoenix, we've also seen a surge in sort of, we saw, especially during the Biden years, we saw the surge in international burglary rings.

00:11:55.000 We saw international fencing rings, as it were.

00:11:58.000 People would steal cars up in Scottsdale and they would be in Mexico in six hours and you're never going to see them again after that. 0.66

00:12:07.000 There is a real.

00:12:08.000 There's an internationalization of crime in the United States that is entirely downstream of the fact that we have had a totally open border for so long.

00:12:18.000 And we hope this isn't a manifestation of that.

00:12:20.000 But at least in my opinion, it's hard for me to not immediately think of those kidnappings for ransom that have happened so often in Latin America.

00:12:28.000 If you follow pro sports, a real thing is pro athletes who came from Venezuela or from the Dominican Republic, places like that, they have to worry about their family members getting kidnapped because they know they have a rich relative in the United States.

00:12:40.000 Yeah, it's a real problem.

00:12:42.000 And you think about Savannah Guthrie, obviously on the Today Show, huge, huge celebrity.

00:12:48.000 And she just has this 80-octogenarian mother out kind of in the outskirts of Tucson, sitting or living seemingly alone.

00:12:58.000 You know, it was interesting.

00:12:59.000 My mother's reaction to this was that, you know, I'm not sure I would want my 80-plus-year-old mom to be living out alone. 0.95

00:13:05.000 And I was like, well, but she's independent.

00:13:08.000 She should have every right to do that.

00:13:10.000 We would never think about it.

00:13:11.000 Civilization is the ability.

00:13:13.000 For the weak, the elderly, the vulnerable to live in safety.

00:13:19.000 And that steadily goes away.

00:13:22.000 You do not uphold civilization.

00:13:23.000 Well, it's interesting, too.

00:13:24.000 We're going to have Senator Rick Scott on in the next segment.

00:13:28.000 And Florida is a place where you mentioned Venezuelans, you mentioned all of this Latin American community that has gathered in Miami and South Florida.

00:13:38.000 And they love it there because civilization, law and order, because they actually have a government that means business and isn't going to let crooks run the streets.

00:13:47.000 Anyways, here's the video of Savannah Guthrie and her sister and her brother in law addressing the ransom note rumors, and they speak directly to their mom, Nancy, 465.

00:13:57.000 We too have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media.

00:14:02.000 As a family, we are doing everything that we can.

00:14:09.000 We are ready to talk.

00:14:10.000 We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her.

00:14:19.000 We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen.

00:14:24.000 Mommy, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman.

00:14:32.000 You are God's precious daughter, Nancy.

00:14:37.000 We believe and know that even in this valley, He is with you.

00:14:45.000 Everyone is looking for you, Mommy, everywhere.

00:14:48.000 We love you, Mom.

00:14:51.000 Yeah, that's really touching stuff.

00:14:54.000 I've heard it for the first time on the drive into the office, and it's emotional stuff.

00:15:00.000 There's no doubt.

00:15:02.000 And I think, goodness, I think everything we've lived through too makes it harder for some reason because just these high profile cases where you're forced to sort of be strong in a public sense like that.

00:15:16.000 It's just, it's excruciating stuff.

00:15:19.000 And so our hearts and prayers are with Savannah Guthrie and her family and with Nancy, her mom.

00:15:26.000 We pray that she's okay.

00:15:28.000 And man, so the couple more clips here.

00:15:34.000 This is Christy Nome saying DHS is assisting with the search for Nancy Guthrie, 466.

00:15:39.000 They have asked us to help with some of our canine teams, and CBP has partnered with the other agencies involved.

00:15:47.000 We're all just heartsick about this and hope she's found soon and that she's found safely and that we can get to the bottom of what really happened.

00:15:55.000 And it looks like the search for Nancy has picked up back up at Guthrie's house.

00:16:01.000 So I don't know if they're sweeping for more details here or more clues.

00:16:05.000 464.

00:16:06.000 The sheriff's department announced yesterday that they had cleared the crime scene at Nancy Guthrie's home and handed it back to the Guthrie family.

00:16:15.000 Well, just a short time ago, A whole bunch of sheriff's deputies showed up there, along with Border Patrol agents, with dogs, and members of the FBI.

00:16:29.000 And they put the tape back around that house, sealing it off.

00:16:34.000 And we believe that there is a search ongoing in part of the area around the back of that property right now.

00:16:42.000 We don't know exactly what they're all looking for, but certainly there is suddenly very intense activity back at Nancy Guthrie's house.

00:16:51.000 So that's an interesting thing where they clear the house, they give it back to the family, and then they move back in and tape it all off.

00:16:59.000 So interesting.

00:17:00.000 I want to show this image, though, kind of back to your earlier point 492.

00:17:04.000 This is a map of Tucson's proximity to the border and corresponding border wall.

00:17:12.000 So if you look at this map, the red portions of it are finished wall, new border wall from President Trump, orange are older border wall, yellow is like vehicle fence, green is damaged border wall.

00:17:25.000 So it's a pretty, I mean, it stretches into New Mexico.

00:17:29.000 A lot of that land where there isn't a border wall is either very second priority border wall area, very remote, or it's mountainous.

00:17:39.000 But I do believe the plan is to complete it all the way through.

00:17:42.000 So just something to keep in mind as we talk about that story.

00:17:47.000 If you're like me and are tired of random stuff getting thrown into your supplements, like artificial colors and sugars, you probably would love to learn more about phytonutrition.

00:17:56.000 Phytonutrients are the naturally occurring plant nutrients found in whole foods.

00:18:00.000 It's what gives them their color, their taste, their smell.

00:18:02.000 The presence of these three things is a surefire sign that you're getting real phytonutrients.

00:18:07.000 Balance of Nature's Whole Health System supplements are a value bundle that includes their fruits and veggies and fiber and spice supplements, which give you 47 different ingredients of fruits, Vegetables, spices, and fibers, and all of the naturally occurring phytonutrients that come with them every single day.

00:18:30.000 They are then powdered and packaged with no binders, no fillers, no flow agents.

00:18:34.000 So, whether you've been on the fence for a long time or it's the first time you're even hearing about them, I recommend that you go to balanceofnature.com and order the whole health system supplements as a preferred customer today.

00:18:45.000 That's balanceofnature.com.

00:18:49.000 All right.

00:18:50.000 Senator Rick Scott, I got to start with a question here that I did not prep you for, but we were just covering Savannah Guthrie.

00:18:57.000 Her mom, Nancy, has been abducted in Tucson, Arizona.

00:19:02.000 And it reminded me of a lot of conversations Blake here had with Charlie.

00:19:06.000 Charlie mentioned on the show a couple of times that when you have an open border, you're going to have a rise in these abductions because it's very South American.

00:19:14.000 It's very Mexican, like it's a cultural phenomenon in south of the border.

00:19:19.000 Now, you.

00:19:20.000 Are a senator and formerly the governor of the state of Florida, where you have a lot of Latin Americans, a lot of Venezuelans, Cubans.

00:19:27.000 You know, is this something that you see there?

00:19:30.000 Now, to be fair, we don't know who did this, but is this something that you guys have to wrestle with in Florida, just with the types of populations that have moved in?

00:19:40.000 Well, I mean, we're always cautious, but we have great sheriff's departments, we have great police departments, we don't have sanctuary cities in Florida, and we've got tough enforcement laws.

00:19:51.000 So If you're convicted in Florida, you have to serve 85% of your sentence.

00:19:56.000 And so I saw something on what CNN a couple years ago, and they said, oh, yeah, we don't commit a crime in Florida because they put you in jail.

00:20:04.000 We just go down there to party.

00:20:06.000 And I think what's happened around our country is people know where to commit the crimes.

00:20:12.000 They know where to go.

00:20:14.000 But no, we don't have, first off, you're right.

00:20:20.000 A lot of the kidnappings, it's sort of common in Latin America.

00:20:24.000 And the nice thing is to come to our state, we don't have it.

00:20:29.000 We got a lot of water between us in that.

00:20:31.000 So we haven't had the same issues that they've had in some other places.

00:20:35.000 And I think the other thing, we're not a sanctuary city and we have tough enforcement laws.

00:20:39.000 Well, our hearts and prayers are with the Guthrie family.

00:20:39.000 Yeah.

00:20:42.000 It's really just a terrible story.

00:20:44.000 And their video they released is just heartbreaking.

00:20:48.000 And so we are praying for Nancy Guthrie that she would be reunited with her family.

00:20:52.000 Hopefully, she's safe and well.

00:20:53.000 I agree.

00:20:54.000 I want to turn our attention, Senator, to the Save Act.

00:20:58.000 Now, there was a clip yesterday.

00:21:00.000 I believe our team is pulling it.

00:21:02.000 I'm not sure if we have it yet.

00:21:04.000 We do.

00:21:04.000 So this is Leader Thune, and he's talking about the pushback that he's getting from Democrats.

00:21:11.000 On the SAVE Act in the Senate, 495.

00:21:14.000 Their political base is demanding they fight with anything that President Trump wants.

00:21:18.000 It is Trump derangement syndrome.

00:21:21.000 It is on steroids around here these days.

00:21:23.000 And even logical, commonsensical things like ensuring that if you're going to vote in an American election, you ought to be an American citizen, they're going to just instinctively oppose.

00:21:33.000 So that's what we're up against.

00:21:34.000 So, no mention there, Senator, of, you know, maybe getting rid of the zombie filibuster, as Senator Lee has called it.

00:21:44.000 There's no talk of.

00:21:45.000 Putting it in a reconciliation bill did not inspire a lot of confidence for me.

00:21:50.000 The floor is yours.

00:21:51.000 What's the status of this highly popular policy?

00:21:55.000 Well, we're going to get it passed.

00:21:57.000 I don't know how we're going to get it done, but Senator Mike Lee and I are focused on this every day.

00:22:03.000 A lot of our friends in the House are focused on this.

00:22:06.000 You have to have an ID to get on an airplane.

00:22:08.000 You ought to have an ID to vote.

00:22:10.000 You should be able to register to vote if you can't prove your citizenship.

00:22:14.000 I can't vote.

00:22:15.000 I mean, I can't vote.

00:22:16.000 I wouldn't vote for Macron in France or Starmer in.

00:22:19.000 In the UK, but I don't get to vote for them.

00:22:20.000 So you can get to vote here if you're illegal.

00:22:23.000 We have to use the talking filibuster.

00:22:26.000 It's not changing the rules, it's enforcing the rules.

00:22:29.000 It's just saying if you want to stop, if you want to slow down the process, you can go talk.

00:22:34.000 But this idea that you don't have to talk and we have to wait for 60 votes to show up is wrong.

00:22:40.000 So we're going to keep talking about it.

00:22:42.000 You saw the president posted about it last night that if the Democrats want to slow something down, you're going to have to talk on the floor.

00:22:50.000 But we have got to get things passed that are good for this country.

00:22:54.000 You know, we've got to secure a border.

00:22:55.000 We've got to get Homeland Security funded.

00:22:57.000 We've got to get ICE funded.

00:22:58.000 We've got to pass the Save America Act.

00:23:00.000 There's a lot of things like that.

00:23:01.000 And if the Democrats are not going to work with us, then we have to use the talking filibuster to get it done.

00:23:08.000 So let's go into what the talking filibuster is.

00:23:08.000 Yeah.

00:23:11.000 And we had Senator Lee kind of when he first floated this idea on the show talking about it.

00:23:15.000 It sounds pretty straightforward.

00:23:16.000 Yeah.

00:23:18.000 But take a step back.

00:23:20.000 You know, we think of 60 votes to break cloture as it's kind of like we just assume you need 60 votes to do anything in the Senate.

00:23:28.000 That's not really true.

00:23:30.000 Obviously, we have reconciliation, but when you actually look at the history, it started in like 1917 when they really kind of started using this, but it was used very sparingly.

00:23:40.000 But in our modern era, it's we just think 60 votes, you got to have 60 votes.

00:23:45.000 And basically, in our divided world, we can't get 60 votes on anything.

00:23:49.000 Explain to the audience what it's like in the Senate.

00:23:53.000 What's the workaround?

00:23:54.000 How do you get this done?

00:23:55.000 Is there support to get rid of this zombie filibuster?

00:24:00.000 The floor is yours, sir.

00:24:02.000 Well, number one, if this is important to you, you need to call your senator and let them know that the Save America Act or any other bill you think is important has to get passed and you've got to use the talking filibuster to get it done.

00:24:13.000 So, all we're going to do is require the Democrats to do what they should do.

00:24:16.000 The filibuster was simply a decision by the Senate to say, okay, at some period of time, we're going to stop talking and we're going to vote.

00:24:25.000 I think Clarence Thomas got two votes.

00:24:28.000 All right.

00:24:29.000 So, but they didn't use the filibuster process to prevent him from ever having a vote.

00:24:35.000 So, the bottom line is that we've got to do our job.

00:24:39.000 If we want to talk, if you want to go talk, have at it.

00:24:42.000 But when you're done talking, we are going to vote.

00:24:45.000 And it's going to take 50 votes plus the vice president to pass legislation or pass NOMs.

00:24:50.000 That's what we have to do.

00:24:51.000 Now, the NOMs we've already changed because the Democrats wouldn't block everything.

00:24:55.000 So, and this is just they don't want Trump to get anything done.

00:24:58.000 They want, you know, right now, they want to shut down the government.

00:25:02.000 They don't want a good economy.

00:25:05.000 So we have to do this.

00:25:07.000 And by the way, if we want to save this country, we've got to make sure people feel comfortable that our elections are fair. 0.87

00:25:16.000 I mean, just the concept that you don't have to show your ID to vote is foreign.

00:25:23.000 Americans believe it. 0.85

00:25:24.000 Republicans, Democrats, we all believe you have to do this.

00:25:27.000 And so we're going to get this done.

00:25:30.000 I'm going to keep fighting.

00:25:31.000 I know Senator Lee is going to keep fighting.

00:25:34.000 To get this done, the president is on board, right?

00:25:37.000 He knows we have to use the talking filibuster to get his agenda done.

00:25:41.000 So that's your word to the audience is that this will get done.

00:25:44.000 Do you believe that Senator Thune is ready for that type of battle?

00:25:49.000 Well, we haven't done it yet.

00:25:50.000 So I tell everybody the way I think DC works is until it happened, be hopeful, but take action.

00:25:59.000 So what I would do is I would call everybody, every senator, and say, look, you have got.

00:26:05.000 To get the Save America Act passed.

00:26:07.000 If you can't get Democrats, which they're not going to help us, then you've got to do it through the talking filibuster.

00:26:12.000 And we can.

00:26:13.000 Is it a pain?

00:26:14.000 It's a pain in the rear, right?

00:26:16.000 But so what?

00:26:18.000 This is a full time job that we ought to be busting about every day for the American people.

00:26:21.000 This is a very important piece of legislation that's going to save this country.

00:26:26.000 Yeah, I mean, I completely agree.

00:26:28.000 But by the way, it's just massively popular.

00:26:33.000 This is the wild thing.

00:26:34.000 Even Democrats' own voters support it.

00:26:36.000 It's worth reiterating.

00:26:38.000 Let's play the clip again.

00:26:41.000 Even, by the way, black Americans voted. 0.98

00:26:44.000 This is their big pushback. 0.82

00:26:45.000 It's Jim Crow 2.0, 355.

00:26:47.000 Take a look here.

00:26:48.000 Favor photo ID to vote.

00:26:50.000 85% of white people favor it.

00:26:52.000 82% of Latino.

00:26:54.000 76% of black Americans favor it.

00:26:56.000 So the bottom line is this voter ID is not controversial in this country.

00:27:01.000 A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country.

00:27:04.000 It is not controversial by party, and it is not controversial by race.

00:27:08.000 The vast majority of Americans agree with Nicki Minaj.

00:27:11.000 That in fact, you should have a photo ID to be able to vote.

00:27:14.000 So, something of a non. 1.00

00:27:15.000 So, you know, I guess they're just going with, you know, black people and married women are too dumb to get voter ID and, you know, Republicans are racist. 0.99

00:27:25.000 No, they want fraud. 0.99

00:27:26.000 They want, no, Andrew, you're being too nice.

00:27:29.000 The Democrats know they can't win with their policies.

00:27:31.000 This is, they want fraud to win.

00:27:33.000 I love it when you tell me I'm being too nice.

00:27:35.000 This is great.

00:27:35.000 Yes, continue.

00:27:37.000 I totally agree.

00:27:37.000 The only explanation is they want to cheat.

00:27:39.000 That's the only thing that.

00:27:41.000 That's it.

00:27:42.000 That's the only explanation. 0.99

00:27:45.000 By the way, kill the zombie filibuster and make them go on the floor and actually defend the indefensible. 0.99

00:27:51.000 Make them do it. 0.99

00:27:52.000 No.

00:27:53.000 Yeah.

00:27:54.000 I mean, look, they want to defund ICE.

00:27:58.000 They don't care about the American public.

00:28:01.000 Think about it.

00:28:01.000 How could you want to defund ICE when you have stories of Lakin Riley or Jocelyn Ngari or Rachel Moran or you hear the stories of these little girls being raped and then you're saying you don't want ICE to have the ability to get rid of these criminals?

00:28:18.000 This is the craziest thing in the world.

00:28:19.000 No, and Senator, I mean, listen, again, I just want to reiterate out of abundance of caution, we do not know who abducted Nancy Guthrie.

00:28:28.000 We don't.

00:28:28.000 But if we find out that it was cartel related or if it was people that shouldn't be in this country, it's going to add a really important wrinkle to this.

00:28:38.000 Really quick question for you, Senator, on the DHS funding, where do we stand?

00:28:43.000 Nowhere.

00:28:44.000 I mean, they're not getting funded.

00:28:48.000 I mean, the Democrats want to shut down this stuff.

00:28:52.000 They want to destroy the Trump presidency.

00:28:54.000 They don't care about all the crime that comes in this country.

00:28:57.000 They don't care.

00:28:58.000 I mean, they are in for the Democrats are in for open borders with criminals and gangs.

00:29:04.000 They're all okay with that.

00:29:05.000 Look, there's some wonderful people who want to come in this country, come in legally, as we have a process for that, and we can improve that.

00:29:12.000 But no, the Democrats will not fund ICE.

00:29:15.000 Their proposals make no sense.

00:29:19.000 So they don't ask local law enforcement to do these things.

00:29:23.000 Why are they asking ICE to do it?

00:29:25.000 You know, listen, we've got Leader Thune.

00:29:28.000 He's the leader of the majority in the Senate.

00:29:30.000 We backed you to be leader.

00:29:31.000 And so I'm just going to hang our hat on your assurance that you're going to get this done because I believe it is existential to get in the SAVE Act passed for the future of this country.

00:29:40.000 You know, we had Coach Tubberville on saying that, you know, the Republic as we know it could be over if we don't get election integrity, basic measures like an ID.

00:29:51.000 Thank you for fighting.

00:29:52.000 We're going to take your word to the bank, and we believe you can do it.

00:29:55.000 Get the SAVE Act passed.

00:29:56.000 We're going to fight every day.

00:29:57.000 Bye bye.

00:30:00.000 Hi, folks.

00:30:59.000 The Olympics.

00:31:00.000 Well, we have to talk about the Olympics because, among other things, Charlie loved the Olympics.

00:31:05.000 494.

00:31:05.000 Some of my best memories growing up were watching the Olympics and cheering for the country I love.

00:31:10.000 I'm a sucker for the Olympics.

00:31:11.000 What it should be, Jack, is an appreciation of excellence in people that really harness their craft and what country is able to achieve that excellence collectively, if you will, in the best way.

00:31:22.000 And I mean collectively in the most non communistic, non Kamala Harris way possible.

00:31:26.000 Charlie loved the Olympics.

00:31:27.000 He loved the Olympics.

00:31:28.000 He loved all things that were America competing for America.

00:31:30.000 He even loved the World Cup, which I always hated on because.

00:31:33.000 I hate soccer and I don't want soccer to be a part of the world.

00:31:36.000 Trump is very excited about the world.

00:31:37.000 He loved to compete.

00:31:37.000 He is.

00:31:38.000 I didn't like the world cup because I'm like, it's soccer.

00:31:41.000 We can't allow soccer to get a foothold in America.

00:31:43.000 And if we won the world cup, that would let it happen.

00:31:46.000 Well, I will tell you the one bit of soccer that I enjoy watching is the world cup.

00:31:52.000 I can't help it.

00:31:52.000 Don't do this.

00:31:53.000 Because I'm like, Charlie, I want America to win.

00:31:58.000 Vice President Vance has been arriving.

00:32:01.000 He's in Milan to greet the team USA.

00:32:04.000 You also got.

00:32:06.000 The whole Vance family is arriving in Italy.

00:32:09.000 They pose for a photo with Team USA.

00:32:11.000 By the way, I saw the clips of JD with the Olympians, and legitimately, he seems the most excited I've seen him in a long time.

00:32:20.000 Like, excuse me, like legitimately geeking out on being with them and the way he was talking about it.

00:32:28.000 But of course, there is some controversy.

00:32:31.000 Apparently, it was called the Ice House.

00:32:35.000 Yeah, they're mad that they called it the Ice House because it's winter.

00:32:38.000 But then now ice is a bad word.

00:32:41.000 We can't have that associated with it.

00:32:42.000 So they had to change it to the winter house.

00:32:44.000 Oh, boy.

00:32:45.000 Which is just very cringe.

00:32:46.000 But there's an even more revealing thing.

00:32:48.000 And I think this shows how we really have not defeated the woke abomination that's been around forever.

00:32:55.000 It's still lurking, always wants to jump back. 0.81

00:32:57.000 This is an Associated Press news report on the extremely pressing fact that Sweden has sent a Winter Olympics team to the Winter Olympics, and they are too Swedish.

00:33:07.000 463.

00:33:09.000 Immigration from Africa and the Middle East is changing the demographics of Europe's top winter sports countries, but that hasn't really translated to their largely white rosters heading to the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.

00:33:21.000 For instance, Team Sweden is almost entirely made up of ethnically Swedish athletes, which is hardly a reflection of the country's diversity, as Sweden has welcomed historic numbers of asylum seekers in recent decades.

00:33:32.000 Experts also believe that more needs to be done by winter sports to improve accessibility, specifically for immigrants and underserved communities.

00:33:40.000 Experts.

00:33:41.000 Experts.

00:33:42.000 What experts?

00:33:44.000 Experts in what?

00:33:46.000 Experts in what?

00:33:47.000 I, I, so I did not see that.

00:33:49.000 Experts say more needs to be done to improve accessibility.

00:33:53.000 So, so what's hilarious about this?

00:33:56.000 Okay. 1.00

00:33:57.000 You get immigrants from Africa.

00:34:00.000 I just, I'm just asking questions here.

00:34:03.000 Is there a lot of snow in Africa?

00:34:06.000 I guess there's Mount Kilimanjaro.

00:34:08.000 I think.

00:34:08.000 But is that like full of like bobsleds and ski resorts?

00:34:12.000 I have.

00:34:13.000 Not heard about that.

00:34:15.000 So, do you think immigrants, refugees from warmer climates moving to Sweden are going to be good skiers? 1.00

00:34:27.000 Do you think they're going to be good ice skaters? 1.00

00:34:30.000 Do you think they're going to be good curlers?

00:34:33.000 Is there a lot of curling in Africa that I'm unaware of in the Middle East? 0.98

00:34:38.000 That is the dumbest video I have seen in a really long time. 0.99

00:34:43.000 It's so bad. 1.00

00:34:44.000 Experts weigh in.

00:34:46.000 Experts. 1.00

00:34:46.000 And it's too ethnically Swedish. 1.00

00:34:48.000 The experts aren't remaining silent, Andrew. 0.98

00:34:50.000 The experts are saying a thing. 1.00

00:34:52.000 This is so dumb. 1.00

00:34:54.000 Like, think about how dumb this is. 1.00

00:34:57.000 I'm literally. 0.98

00:34:58.000 Okay. 1.00

00:34:59.000 We have a lot of dumb stuff in America. 0.99

00:35:01.000 We have Jasmine Crockett. 0.99

00:35:03.000 We have Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

00:35:06.000 I love that.

00:35:06.000 We have Ilhan Omar.

00:35:08.000 We've got. 1.00

00:35:09.000 Dumb for days. 1.00

00:35:10.000 That was truly one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. 1.00

00:35:14.000 That was stupid. 1.00

00:35:14.000 That was really stupid. 1.00

00:35:16.000 Okay. 0.99

00:35:17.000 So, sorry, the team says I missed some stuff that I need to play on this ice house story.

00:35:23.000 So, we're going to revisit the ice house that is now the winter house.

00:35:28.000 This is Amber Glenn, figure skater on Team USA, changing the name of the Olympic venue from ice house to winter house.

00:35:34.000 490.

00:35:35.000 If something as simple as changing a name can do.

00:35:40.000 Anything to make someone feel more comfortable.

00:35:44.000 It's really unfortunate that the term ice has an ice skating.

00:35:47.000 Like I'm here on this sheet of ice and saying that it's kind of like, oh, disheartening that something so negative has taken that name from us.
