00:01:52.000 I'm joined by Kurt Schlichter, who's a senior columnist at townhall.com, and also author of the new book, The Attack.
00:02:01.000 Kurt Schlichter, welcome to the show.
00:02:03.000 Thanks for having me, man.
00:02:05.000 So Kurt, I wanted to bring you on to discuss something that is top of the news, and that is what happened right after the debate.
00:02:14.000 Kamala Harris threw down the gauntlet instantly and said, I want a second debate.
00:02:18.000 Let's do that again.
00:02:19.000 And Trump says, well, no, I won.
00:02:22.000 And like a prize fighter, uh, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna fall for that.
00:02:25.000 You know, they, they want the rematch.
00:02:27.000 Let's break it all down, but let's hear it.
00:02:29.000 But first let's hear it in their own words.
00:02:31.000 Let's go ahead and play cut 185.
00:02:36.000 Well, you know, when you don't win, it's like a fighter.
00:02:40.000 When a fighter has a bad fight, gets knocked out, or loses the fight, the first thing he says is, we want a rematch.
00:02:47.000 So, we won the debate according to every poll, every single poll.
00:02:51.000 I think that, are we gonna do a rematch?
00:02:54.000 I just don't know, but we'll think about it.
00:02:57.000 Alright, and Kamala Harris has her take on it, 186.
00:03:01.000 Two nights ago, Donald Trump and I had our first debate.
00:03:05.000 And I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate.
00:03:16.000 All right, Kurt Schlichter, make sense of this.
00:03:19.000 What is this?
00:03:20.000 Is this all posturing?
00:03:21.000 Is this a spin?
00:03:22.000 What's happening?
00:03:23.000 Well, look, I think Kamala Harris and her handlers were so thrilled that she didn't
00:03:28.000 publicly soil herself and completely melt down that they thought, yeah, let's ask her
00:03:34.000 another.
00:03:35.000 We really did well.
00:03:38.000 And then things began to settle in because the initial vibe of the debate is not the
00:03:45.000 current vibe of the debate.
00:03:47.000 The idea that Trump lost the debate has kind of faded away.
00:03:52.000 And I think she did achieve one thing she wanted to do.
00:03:57.000 She didn't make a complete idiot of herself.
00:04:00.000 But she really didn't introduce herself to the voters very well.
00:04:04.000 She never answered a single question.
00:04:07.000 She never really set out, except in these vague, lame generalities, what she wanted to do.
00:04:13.000 Oh, you know, I have a passion for small business.
00:04:16.000 Really?
00:04:17.000 You might have started one.
00:04:21.000 So I think now the reason to have another debate has changed.
00:04:25.000 At first it was just kind of, yeah, all right, woo!
00:04:29.000 And then now it's like, maybe we didn't accomplish what we needed to accomplish.
00:04:33.000 And as far as Trump's concerned, he's like, I wanted three.
00:04:40.000 You countered with one.
00:04:42.000 You got one.
00:04:44.000 Yeah, well, so this is what I'm wondering.
00:04:46.000 Is this the art of the deal, right?
00:04:47.000 Is Trump posturing saying, hey, I'm not going to do this because he's basically accepted all of the rules that have been thrown at him.
00:04:55.000 I mean, Biden asked for, you know, the moon.
00:04:57.000 He got it.
00:04:58.000 Trump agreed to the early debate, maybe did a little too well, knocked Biden out of the race.
00:05:02.000 Now we got Kamala.
00:05:03.000 He accepted a debate with ABC, which now even Mark Penn, a former Clinton advisor, is
00:05:09.000 saying needs to be investigated because of just how biased the moderators were. It was a
00:05:14.000 three-on-one, absolutely.
00:05:16.000 So play this out, the political calculus for Trump. Does he stand to gain by doing another debate?
00:05:24.000 I think that this is posturing.
00:05:27.000 I think he's going to end up saying yes to another debate.
00:05:30.000 Maybe I'm wrong.
00:05:31.000 I think he is trying to get the best deal he can.
00:05:34.000 And I think this is going to be a bit like 2020, where he was widely seen to lose the first debate, but then he came back and did much better in the second.
00:05:43.000 What do you think, Kurt?
00:05:45.000 Look, Trump's actions are consistent with him both not wanting a future debate, And with wanting one on more favorable terms.
00:05:54.000 I mean, the ABC choice was a total disaster.
00:05:58.000 They were worse than anybody imagined.
00:06:00.000 The only people happy about it, besides Kabbalist fans, is Candy Crowley.
00:06:06.000 Congratulations, you're not the most corrupt debate moderator in history.
00:06:13.000 Look, Trump has a hard time passing up challenges, even when it's strategically Beneficial.
00:06:20.000 Now keep in mind he did it during the primaries.
00:06:23.000 He did not at any time have a debate with anybody in the primary.
00:06:30.000 And that worked for him, obviously.
00:06:32.000 So he's perfectly capable of not having one and passing up her childish taunting.
00:06:41.000 I don't know.
00:06:43.000 We will find out.
00:06:44.000 I can think of advantages and disadvantages to going ahead and having another debate.
00:06:48.000 Kurt, play the political calculus out for us though.
00:06:52.000 Does it make sense for Trump to do a second debate?
00:06:56.000 Or is he seeing the fact that independents are tracking with Republicans, you know, they've got those graphs and we played those earlier in the week.
00:07:04.000 Independents are tracking with Republicans like they haven't done since 2016.
00:07:08.000 There was also a lot of ink spilled about focus groups and, you know, a lot of the undecideds were breaking for Trump after a debate that Kamala thinks she won.
00:07:19.000 My question is, does Trump need a knockout or can he continue on this path where people learn a little more about Kamala and then go over to Trump?
00:07:29.000 Trump's not going to lose any people, okay?
00:07:34.000 I don't think he's going to stead any support.
00:07:39.000 I don't think he would lose people significantly if he did even a poor debate, okay?
00:07:45.000 And people say he didn't do great on this one.
00:07:47.000 That's open to debate.
00:07:48.000 But he certainly didn't lose significant numbers, if any.
00:07:53.000 Nor did she gain any significant numbers.
00:07:55.000 She needs a moment, Andrew.
00:07:58.000 She needs a moment to change things and change them up.
00:08:01.000 Because Trump is slowly gaining on her.
00:08:05.000 Right now, Trump is ahead in Pennsylvania.
00:08:06.000 There's really no path for her without Pennsylvania.
00:08:10.000 Uh, which is why all you heard was bragging at the, uh, at the debate.
00:08:14.000 Him saying she was going to ban it and her saying, well, absolutely not.
00:08:20.000 Even though I, you know, totally said I was going to.
00:08:23.000 Um, he's got a lot, uh, a lot at risk.
00:08:27.000 Uh, Trump now knows how she's going to perform, which is a lot of, uh, a lot of memorized, uh, uh, sound bites.
00:08:36.000 Um, I, I think, uh, I think he needs to take a venue where they are not going to actively take the other side.
00:08:44.000 I mean, you know, look, the media is always going to be against us, right?
00:08:50.000 They were even against us in the CNN debate with Jake Tapper and Dana Bass.
00:08:55.000 It was just not as bad as usual, so we didn't really focus on it.
00:08:59.000 We just assumed it.
00:09:01.000 But this was, I mean, this was obnoxious.
00:09:04.000 This was egregious.
00:09:06.000 It was egregious and I think it helped take Trump off his game.
00:09:12.000 The thing is, look, I'm a lawyer.
00:09:14.000 I argue like a lawyer.
00:09:15.000 Trump is not a lawyer.
00:09:17.000 Trump does not argue like a lawyer.
00:09:19.000 And that's very frustrating to me.
00:09:21.000 On the other hand, is there a better communicator in all of the United States of America than Donald Trump?
00:09:27.000 Bingo.
00:09:28.000 Bingo.
00:09:28.000 No, there isn't.
00:09:31.000 I totally agree with you.
00:09:32.000 I totally agree.
00:09:33.000 I think Trump, because, you know, my father's a lawyer.
00:09:36.000 I was looking for point to point match.
00:09:39.000 And I was like, oh, you missed that one.
00:09:40.000 This was an easy layup.
00:09:42.000 But somehow, in the midst of all of that, the performance artist, Kamala, said all the right things, and it didn't land a punch, really, on him.
00:09:53.000 And the undecideds broke for him.
00:09:55.000 And it's almost like Trump has won the post-debate debate.
00:09:58.000 Yeah, that's absolutely true.
00:09:59.000 He's totally won it.
00:10:00.000 And I saw an interesting difference.
00:10:03.000 Women, including conservative women, said, you know, I'm nervous.
00:10:07.000 I think she did well.
00:10:09.000 Men freaking despised her.
00:10:12.000 They just felt she was condescending, obnoxious.
00:10:14.000 And Kamala comes across as every, you know, nudie school teacher ever told you to use your inside voice.
00:10:22.000 And I don't think because, you know, most of the routine media are a bunch of lame femme boys.
00:10:28.000 I don't think they really picked up on that, but that vibe is definitely there for, you know, actual men.
00:10:34.000 I think you're spot on, Kurt.
00:10:35.000 Excellent analysis as always.
00:10:39.000 Are you ready to lose weight, but not sure where to start?
00:10:41.000 I understand.
00:10:41.000 I was right where you are two years ago.

00:10:56.000 There is so much more.
00:10:56.000 They know that 90% of permanent change comes from the mind, and they work on eliminating the reason you gained this weight in the first place.
00:11:02.000 There's no shortcuts, pills, or injections.
00:11:04.000 Just solid, science-based nutrition and behavior change.
00:11:07.000 And finally, and probably most importantly, I lost 30 pounds.

00:11:46.000 Dr. Ashton Lucas, great American.
00:11:48.000 Check it out.
00:11:48.000 MyPhDWeightLoss.com.
00:11:53.000 I'm joined by Chris de Gaulle.
00:11:54.000 He's the host of Salem 990, The Answer in Philadelphia, and he's also the VP of content at the Herzog Foundation doing important work, also a partner on this show, in the area of education.
00:12:05.000 So Chris, welcome to the show.
00:12:07.000 Honored to have you back.
00:12:10.000 One of the things we don't talk about as much, because there's so much drama going on with this election, but we're not talking about how it's going to impact Our kids' education.
00:12:19.000 I'm a father of three.
00:12:21.000 You're also a father.
00:12:22.000 Let's break down some of these issues that people are talking about in this education space that you are so familiar with.
00:12:28.000 What would a Harris-Walz victory look like for parental rights?
00:12:36.000 This is a huge, huge touchpoint in our country right now.
00:12:38.000 Chris, Yeah, I think the biggest question we have before us is, Harris-Walls administration means more Randy Weingarten, more of the same teachers unions, more of the same public education.
00:12:50.000 And if that's working for you, great.
00:12:52.000 You know, I don't come to you today saying, shelve public education if that's your choice for your children.
00:12:58.000 But what we know is that school choice is busting out all over the country.
00:13:02.000 There are some 13 schools with what's known as some form of school choice.
00:13:06.000 Many of them are what are known as universal school choice.
00:13:10.000 You mentioned Charlie's in Nebraska today.
00:13:12.000 They've got a constitutional issue this fall they'll be voting on to maintain school choice in Nebraska or reverse course.
00:13:19.000 School unions are working hard, Andrew, to make sure that parents are stuck in a geographic Zip-coded school district where their children must go no matter how they perform without any choice whatsoever.
00:13:34.000 And if they want to go elsewhere, they pay for it, which is fine.
00:13:39.000 But the question before us all is, and I think everybody understands, if you're paying taxes to the state for education, Why not just let people keep that money?
00:13:50.000 Shop around.
00:13:51.000 Send it where they'd like.
00:13:52.000 Public school, private school, Christian school.
00:13:55.000 Use it to homeschool.
00:13:56.000 Or not.
00:13:57.000 Maybe some homeschoolers don't like that arrangement.
00:13:58.000 That's fine, too.
00:13:59.000 But the point is, open up the marketplace to choice.
00:14:02.000 Let people shop like we do for anything else.
00:14:05.000 Why shouldn't we do that with education?
00:14:07.000 And, of course, the Harris-Walz administration Wouldn't care for that a little bit.
00:14:12.000 No, not at all.
00:14:13.000 Chris, you know, and by the way, you can read more about these topics at readlion.com.
00:14:18.000 Readlion.com.
00:14:20.000 It's a publication of the Herzog Foundation, which Chris is involved with.
00:14:25.000 Chris, and I think this is a big sleeper issue, by the way.
00:14:28.000 Parental rights, also when it comes to the trans issue, all of these things.
00:14:32.000 We have states like California and Oregon and Washington that have floated legislation or passed it where you could actually Sort of state-sanctioned kidnapping if you don't agree with the gender ideology or the gender transition of your child.
00:14:46.000 But I think this is a huge sleeper issue.
00:14:48.000 Are we seeing states that are leading on this, maybe Florida, others, when it comes to school choice, being able to get your kids out of a bad school and into a school that is performing?
00:14:58.000 I got to tell you, we are really fortunate in some states to have role models.
00:15:05.000 Two governors come to mind in particular.
00:15:07.000 Well, despite Governor DeSantis, who has been kind of leading all along, I have to say, in Florida.
00:15:12.000 But there are two that really stand out in the Midwest in particular, and that is Kim Reynolds of Iowa.
00:15:17.000 And just to her south is Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, both of whom have passed robust universal school choice.
00:15:25.000 This was something Governor Sanders did in her first year.
00:15:29.000 In fact, we're honored to host her tomorrow here at the foundation for a private conversation with some of our friends.
00:15:36.000 She is a tremendous warrior for this cause.
00:15:38.000 And, Andrew, what she managed to do, the carrot-stick approach was, we'll give the teachers in our state, our public school teachers, a raise if they agree to universal school choice and compete in the marketplace.
00:15:53.000 That agreement was struck in the legislature.
00:15:55.000 She shepherded it through.
00:15:56.000 We need leaders in governor's mansions, Andrew.
00:15:58.000 That's what we need, and we do have a few.
00:16:01.000 That's fantastic.
00:16:03.000 I mean, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is really proving her mettle in a lot of different ways.
00:16:09.000 And I'm excited about her future, to be honest, Chris.

00:17:11.000 Well said Chris.
00:17:12.000 Thank you so much Jack welcome to the Charlie Kirk show.
00:17:17.000 I think you've been monitoring Trump's speech What is he talking about?
00:17:22.000 What are we zeroing in on here Jack?
00:17:25.000 You know really?
00:17:26.000 This election has has centered around these ideas of which candidate stands up for the basics of for quality of life of the American people and whether that is himself or Kamala Harris.
00:17:40.000 And now you can be talking about the people of Springfield, Ohio, who find themselves in A very unique situation, but also the people of every major city in America, people who have been living in places like Los Angeles, people who live in Philadelphia, people who live in New York, Detroit, Chicago, that I visited in all the last couple of weeks here, that have absolutely deteriorated under this regime that is, for lack of a better term, completely anti-civilizational.
00:18:10.000 And what President Trump is talking about, it's not just the border.
00:18:12.000 It's not just the lawlessness we see there.
00:18:15.000 It's the lawlessness that we see everywhere.
00:18:17.000 And the border is just one example of that, how we've become completely overrun,
00:18:21.000 completely controlled by a corrupt ruling class in this country that cares more about
00:18:27.000 America being the leader of the G7, and America being the global hegemon,
00:18:32.000 and America taking on the BRICS nations as if that's anything that's going to help
00:18:38.000 the American people. And meanwhile, you've got homeless women with their babies in
00:18:42.000 Springfield, Ohio, saying that she can't even get...
00:18:45.000 Basic public housing because all the Haitians get first-run access to this.
00:18:50.000 And Tim Walz, by the way, who's the vice presidential standard bearer on the Democrat side, is someone who all the way back in 2019 was doing the exact same thing.
00:18:58.000 So you've got the Haitians to Ohio and you got the Somalians to Minnesota.
00:19:02.000 And again, people are sitting there saying, Who is it that's for us?
00:19:05.000 And one of the things that I've said for a long time is that if you think this is all happening by accident, you still don't quite get it yet.
00:19:13.000 All of this is an operation.
00:19:14.000 The point of a system is what it does.
00:19:17.000 This is an operation that's being run on the American people.
00:19:20.000 This is an operation that's being done to the American people to turn you into a debt slave, to put you in servitude, to make it so, and of course, as we know, the WF saying, you'll own nothing and be happy, but that really is what it comes down to.
00:19:36.000 They want you to have no ownership, not only of your own homes, your own goods, but even of your own country.
00:19:42.000 They want you to be a consumer, a consumer state, because you'll sit there, and I debated, the libertarian candidate, Chase Oliver, who's running for
00:19:52.000 the Democrat candidate, or excuse me, the libertarian candidate for president.
00:19:56.000 And you can read things like, oh, it's just about the GDP.
00:19:59.000 Yeah, it's just about the GDP.
00:20:01.000 We did one of those zero hedge debates.
00:20:02.000 It's just the GDP. It's just the GDP.
00:20:04.000 And, you know, this is before the Springfield stuff had really kicked off.
00:20:08.000 But I would have loved to bring that up.
00:20:09.000 Said how many cats, Chase? How many cats?
00:20:11.000 How many cats have to go for the service of the GDP?
00:20:15.000 I mean, it's it's so obnoxious and a crazy question.
00:20:18.000 and that's yet relevant because these people all look at it.
00:20:23.000 We need these workers.
00:20:24.000 We need these workers.
00:20:25.000 And it's like, okay, I guess, but why does one small town and this is not just Springfield, by the way, this is happening all over America, but what is one small town of 50,000 have to be inundated with 20,000 foreigners almost overnight, transforming the culture, transforming the streets, transforming the economy.
00:20:44.000 Everything about this town was turned upside down.
00:20:47.000 And for what?
00:20:48.000 What was the rationale?
00:20:49.000 What was the actual logic behind an immigration policy that insane?
00:20:54.000 Because they're victims, Jack.
00:20:56.000 They are.
00:20:56.000 When you hear the statement of it serves the needs of the GDP, here's what's actually going on.
00:21:01.000 Here's how it works in reality.
00:21:02.000 They're sort of telling on themselves.
00:21:03.000 Because in situations like this there's always an economic hub and there's always a business driver to it and here's what it is in Springfield.
00:21:09.000 In Springfield you have a Japanese auto parts firm, you have a microchip processor fabrication plant that's in Springfield, you have various meat packing, meat processing centers in Springfield, and guess what?
00:21:22.000 Guess who's getting all the jobs in Springfield?
00:21:25.000 Oh, It's the jobs for the migrants.
00:21:28.000 It's the jobs for the Haitians.
00:21:30.000 And you say, well, wait a minute.
00:21:31.000 If there's all these unemployed people, all these homeless people in Springfield, why
00:21:34.000 don't some of them just go take the jobs?
00:21:36.000 And you of course hear this old canard that, oh, these are jobs that Americans won't do.
00:21:41.000 As it turns out, here's how it works in reality.
00:21:45.000 They create something called the hidden job market.
00:21:48.000 So these businesses open up in a certain area, they pick one of these economically depressed areas, so they get credits from the federal government for operating there, and then they realize, wait a minute, we can get more federal credits and we can get more federal subsidies if we go and hire migrants and refugees through the refugee resettlement program.
00:22:05.000 So they go to the refugee resettlement, and this could be Catholic charities, Lutheran charities, various other
00:22:11.000 charity groups, refugee groups, they're bringing them in. And they tell them or they work with a
00:22:15.000 network of independent recruiters, they tell them about the job openings. So they rig the
00:22:19.000 system and create what's called the hidden job market. So that the people that live in the
00:22:24.000 town don't even know about the job openings, the job openings all go to who the refugees and
00:22:30.000 now the company is getting federal subsidies for hiring the refugees for hiring the migrants.
00:22:36.000 They're getting they're getting more subsidies for operating in one of these areas and they're essentially importing their own slave labor.
00:22:43.000 They're importing their own Low-cost workers and by the way at no cost to the company itself because we the people the federal government are Subsidizing the entire thing and the people who are the losers are as you say the people who lived in the town Say wait a minute.
00:22:59.000 Why is all this stuff going on?
00:23:00.000 Why are all the people coming in you realize there's massive economic drivers to it But it's a perverse economy Because it's being subsidized by the federal government.
00:23:08.000 Of course, by the way, the local town council, the local city manager, the local mayor, even the local governor in the sense of Ohio, they love it because they all get the increased tax benefits of having all of these businesses in their area.
00:23:21.000 So they have an also a massive economic incentive to do what?
00:23:25.000 Oh, to hide up or cover up the crimes that are being committed by the people who are there.
00:23:30.000 And so Yeah, you know, it's unfortunate that, you know, sometimes school kids have to get killed in traffic accidents when one of these illegals crashes into a school bus on the first day of school and kills a little boy.
00:23:40.000 But, you know, that's just, that's just, you know, that's all just worth it.
00:23:43.000 You know, that's just a sacrifice to the altar of the GDP.

00:24:47.000 Wonderful organization, MyPillow.com.
00:24:52.000 You've got GOP rep Derek Van Orden in Wisconsin saying that his hometown is terrified after Venezuelan gang members' violent scourge.
00:25:02.000 So there was Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate, he's 26.
00:25:07.000 He's accused of sexually and physically assaulting a woman under quote-unquote particularly brutal circumstances, holding the woman and daughter against their will, and over the course of a period of time sexually and physically assaulting them both.
00:25:20.000 And this is according to the Prairie du Chien police chief Kyle Tenner, said this in a press conference.
00:25:26.000 Then, Jack, I want to take your attention to A breaking story, actually.
00:25:31.000 Let me make sure I've got the details right.
00:25:33.000 This is in Florida.
00:25:35.000 An illegal from the Dominican Republic just murdered an entire family.
00:25:39.000 Actually, I'm sorry.
00:25:40.000 Upstate New York.
00:25:41.000 The killer's Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano.
00:25:45.000 And we actually have a cut of this.
00:25:47.000 $1.89.
00:25:48.000 A crime scene unlike any other for Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters.
00:25:53.000 This was a horrific scene.
00:25:57.000 It's been almost 32 years of doing this job.
00:25:59.000 I've never seen anything like it.
00:26:00.000 Shock and horror from the Ironicoy community.
00:26:03.000 A family of four, victims of a homicide in their own home.
00:26:08.000 Adults do what adults do, but kids are innocent.
00:26:12.000 So, take that for what it's worth.
00:26:16.000 Mom was being a mom, protecting her children.
00:26:20.000 Dad, I can't say, but Nobody should ever be able to do this or be able to think that they could do that to a child.
00:26:30.000 So Jack, this is an illegal that was also wanted for a 2019 murder in the Dominican Republic, but he traveled to Puerto Rico, got a fake ID, and just hopped right over to America and has been able to stay because the whole system is inundated with people like this.
00:26:47.000 And now a family of four is dead because we let an illegal alien into our country.
00:26:52.000 Jack, your reaction?
00:26:54.000 Yeah, one of the things that came up in that debate that I held with Chase Oliver and Robbie Suave and Ryan Grodusky were there as well was that They will say, well, wait a minute, you know, the, the, the rate they, and they start playing these statistics games and we'll say, well, the rate of violent crime from illegal immigrants is actually less than the rate of violent crime for all Americans.
00:27:19.000 So therefore you don't have a problem with crime.
00:27:23.000 You just have a problem with illegals.
00:27:25.000 Twitch, of course, will respond, but wait a minute.
00:27:27.000 We can actually reduce the rate of illegal immigrant crime to 0%.
00:27:32.000 You're never going to be able to do that with any general population, but every single one of these crimes is preventable in the first instance, because we don't have to allow them to break into our country.
00:27:45.000 Yeah, but I don't agree with those stats, by the way.
00:27:49.000 I think those stats are completely flawed.
00:27:51.000 I mean, I'll play a clip from John Legend, basically, He's basically being like, I'm because he's a Springfield, Ohio native.
00:27:58.000 So that's where he that's where he was born.
00:27:59.000 I don't think he's probably been back.
00:28:01.000 But like, the point is, he makes the same point that he still lives there, right?
00:28:05.000 No, yeah, right.
00:28:05.000 Yeah, we have a we have a picture actually, if you want to put 191 B roll, this is this is his Beverly Hills mansion.
00:28:14.000 So you've got john legend lecturing the people of Springfield, Ohio, who can't get basic government services.
00:28:20.000 And this is where john legend lives.
00:28:24.000 million dollars and he's sitting there getting on his phone lecturing about the Christian ethic
00:28:30.000 that we need to have towards 20,000 Haitian immigrants inundating a small town in middle
00:28:36.000 America. It's absolutely disgusting. It strikes me, Jack, we go to this debate, right, where
00:28:44.000 most of the pundit class says that Trump lost, Kamala is saying she won, yeah, look at,
00:28:49.000 but it was ineffective. It didn't even matter. It didn't even matter who won on style, didn't matter
00:28:53.000 any of that stuff. I think Trump's communication style gets through to everyday America. And the
00:28:59.000 reason is, is that we're all sick of this nonsense where people are coming into our country illegally
00:29:05.000 and taking advantage of the system and ripping us all off.
00:29:08.000 So I think people just see through the nonsense and they know where Trump stands and they know
00:29:12.000 they're going to get more of the same with Kamala. Your reaction?
00:29:15.000 Yeah, no, I completely agree on your analysis of the debate there.
00:29:18.000 And I caught your conversation with Rich Barris yesterday, which I thought was fantastic.
00:29:22.000 And the only thing that I would, I would alter from what you said is it's not that they're taking advantage of the system.
00:29:29.000 It's that people are realizing that this is the system.
00:29:33.000 That the point of the system is what it does.
00:29:35.000 That the system exists specifically to screw over these people in working class America.
00:29:41.000 To screw over these people that live in big cities.
00:29:44.000 Look, when we have the RNC and the DNC...
00:29:48.000 Or when Xi Jinping comes to San Francisco, or when I was in Philadelphia for the debate the other night.
00:29:52.000 They clean the city up so fast.
00:29:55.000 They clean crime up, they put police officers on the street, which by the way, tells you right there that they know that if you want to decrease crime, you increase the status of police officers, you increase patrols.
00:30:06.000 And magically, Crime vanishes.
00:30:09.000 Crime is able to be kept under control.
00:30:10.000 They could do this at any time.
00:30:13.000 And when you and I were in Chicago, we saw this.
00:30:15.000 We saw how it was the cleanest Chicago has ever been, that I've ever been there.
00:30:19.000 It was the safest that it's ever been since we were there.
00:30:21.000 And it was like, wait a minute, cities could be like this all the time.
00:30:25.000 Why aren't they?
00:30:26.000 Why don't they allow cities to be like this all the time?
00:30:29.000 And you realize, because there is a political advantage to keeping cities disadvantaged.
00:30:35.000 I would be remiss if I didn't show you these images right now.
00:30:39.000 Charlie's doing another Prove Me Wrong on campus.
00:30:42.000 Throw some of these images up, guys, that we just got back.
00:30:44.000 These are live images from Charlie.
00:30:47.000 I mean, there's thousands of students that greeted Charlie at this event.
00:30:51.000 I mean, this is, I genuinely mean this when I say it's civilizationally defining, changing stuff.
00:30:58.000 when you see this type of reaction on liberal college campuses
00:31:02.000 for somebody like Charlie Kirk who's just showing up debating people.
00:31:05.000 It's phenomenal, phenomenal stuff.
00:31:07.000 So those clips get seen tens and tens of millions of time, Jack, and you do this kind of work yourself.
00:31:13.000 This is big time.
00:31:15.000 And I can just tell you that it didn't used to be this way.
00:31:17.000 Something has shifted.
00:31:18.000 Something has changed.
00:31:19.000 And I'm here for it.
00:31:21.000 I was chatting with Charlie about this the other night after, I forget which event it was, but Charlie and I were just chatting, you know, one night and he was telling me about it and said, Jack, I've never seen anything like this.
00:31:34.000 He's like, I've been doing these campus events for a decade now.
00:31:38.000 You know, we don't get this.
00:31:40.000 It's usually contentious.
00:31:42.000 We've gotten the protests, we've gotten attacked, but we've never been welcomed.
00:31:45.000 And suddenly it seems like either there's this welcoming vibe, but then there's also a vibe of people who, they don't necessarily want to attack, but they actually seem like they want to ask questions.
00:31:56.000 Like they're actually becoming curious as to what is the conservative movement?
00:32:01.000 Who is Donald Trump?
00:32:03.000 What is this, this thing that he stands for when you guys say America first?
00:32:07.000 And I think a lot of it goes back to the work that people have been putting in, like Turning Point USA, but then also Donald Trump, to go to those non-political podcasts, to go on things like Theo Vaughn, to do the streaming with Twitch stars and all this different stuff that he's been doing to reach out to non-traditional audiences to kind of change the conversation as to where things are, as opposed to the way the mainstream media, the corporate media would paint all of us to suddenly say, wait a minute, you know, we are, we're not
00:32:37.000 some like a hateful, you know, extremists who just hate the country and want to
00:32:42.000 take over everything.
00:32:43.000 It's like, no, we actually love our country and we love our family.
00:32:47.000 We want to make things better.
00:32:48.000 Like we were talking about safe, safe cities and safe communities and safe
00:32:52.000 And that means for all people, because I said this to a reporter recently.
00:32:57.000 They said, how is Donald Trump going to unite America?
00:32:59.000 And I said, well, Donald Trump has always been trying to unite America.
00:33:01.000 Make America great again has always meant for everyone.
00:33:05.000 He never said for only one group of people.
00:33:07.000 He never said make America only great again for white people, make America great again only for Christians.
00:33:11.000 He never said that.
00:33:12.000 You said that.
00:33:13.000 Julie Reed said that.
00:33:14.000 You've been the ones adding things, putting words in his mouth, putting words in all of our mouths.
00:33:19.000 And so now, finally, something has shifted, and you see that with Elon, with David Sachs, with RFK, with Tulsi getting on board now, the independents, the Democrats are getting on board, the MAGA coalition, and suddenly MAGA with, it's got, also we all, we also have the Make America Healthy again.
00:33:35.000 I don't like MAHA.
00:33:36.000 I don't think MAHA, you gotta say the big MAHA.
00:33:37.000 I think it sounds better.
00:33:38.000 You say the big MAHA.
00:33:39.000 The big Maha was on board with MAGA.
00:33:42.000 Yeah, the big Maha.
00:33:43.000 And so we got the big Maha going on now and suddenly there's this, there's a lot of life and we saw that with the conventions as well that, you know, the RNC was like a convention carnival atmosphere and the DNC was like totally cold and scripted.
00:33:56.000 It just sucked.
00:33:57.000 No, this is where the energy is and Charlie is definitely tapping into that.
00:34:02.000 I totally agree.
00:34:03.000 One other thing that I think what they see in Charlie is what they see in Trump, which is a fighter for their voice.
00:34:10.000 They realize that this is a guy who's going in boldly.
00:34:13.000 He's not apologizing for being exactly who he is and believing in these things and not couching his language, not pandering.
00:34:21.000 He's just going hard.
00:34:23.000 He's going hard with his ideas.
00:34:24.000 And they're like, you know what?
00:34:26.000 I agree.
00:34:26.000 Like, I agree with these ideas and they want the champion in the middle of the ring.
00:34:32.000 I gotta ask you one last question.
00:34:33.000 I got one minute left with you, Jag.
00:34:36.000 Should Trump do a second debate or should he not?
00:34:40.000 Do you think it has a chance of happening?
00:34:42.000 Yes and no.
00:34:43.000 Yes and no.
00:34:44.000 I think, obviously, he doesn't seem like he has a lot of appetite for it right now, though I think something he should do is hold a town hall.
00:34:51.000 Hold a town hall where you tap into the same energy that Charlie's tapping into right now.
00:34:55.000 You could do it on a college campus.
00:34:56.000 You could do it in Western Pennsylvania.
00:34:58.000 You can do it in one of these swing states, but where it's Trump, Kamala, and the people, where the people are the moderators.
00:35:05.000 You call it the people's town hall and you actually let regular citizens be the ones who ask the questions.
00:35:11.000 And you know, maybe you have some people there just to, just to help manage that, but you don't bring in these corporate moderators, have the people's moderators and a people's town hall with Trump and Kamala.
00:35:22.000 And let's see how she does.
00:35:23.000 Without the blocking and tackling being done by the defensive and offensive line in front of her, the mainstream media provided the last one.
00:35:29.000 Awesome.
00:35:30.000 Jack, I love that idea.
00:35:32.000 Charlie and I have been talking about that too offline, about how Trump really thrives in a town hall setting.
00:35:37.000 So I personally hope he doesn't, but he probably doesn't need to, honestly.
00:35:41.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:35:42.000 We'll talk to you soon.
