Summary

In this episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, host Charlie Kirk is joined by his good friend Miranda Devine to discuss the latest in the Eric Adams case, and to talk about the massive voter registration drive at Arizona State University and the incredible efforts of Turning Point USA to register first-time or new voters for the 2020 election. They also discuss the recent news of Eric Adams being charged with conspiracy to commit perjury, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and conspiracy against the President, Donald Trump, and other charges related to his alleged involvement in a cover-up that has been going on since before he was elected President in 2016. Charlie also talks about the incredible turnout at Turning Point Action's outdoor voter registration event on campus at ASU, and why it is so important that college students are out in the streets in 107 degree heat to register to vote in this election. Charlie finishes the show with a call to action for college students across the country to join the fight for freedom on campuses across the U.S. and take their voices into the streets to vote for Trump on November 6, 2020. 00:01:16.000 We have lots to cover today, including Eric Adams being indicted.
00:01:19.000 But first, I want to share some phenomenal news with you.
00:01:23.000 Yesterday, we went to Arizona State University, ASU, and did a massive voter registration drive.
00:01:30.000 This was brought to you by Turning Point Action and also some of the local fraternities there on campus.
00:01:37.000 We were met by a crowd of thousands of students, hundreds of which wanted to register to vote for the first time for this presidential election for Donald Trump.
00:01:47.000 The vibe and the energy and the spirit is off the charts, greater than anything I've ever experienced in my 12 years of doing this.
00:01:54.000 Look at that video right there.
00:01:56.000 Literally people that are clamoring over trying to get MAGA hats.
00:02:00.000 Register to vote.
00:02:00.000 Fill out forms.
00:02:02.000 People as far as the eye can see.
00:02:04.000 Now mind you, this is work that was not happening in 2020.
00:02:08.000 It was not happening for a couple reasons.
00:02:11.000 First of which, we didn't really have Turning Point Action operational in 2020.
00:02:14.000 It was almost all Turning Point USA.
00:02:16.000 Almost all just charitable, non-profit, high school, college work.
00:02:21.000 But secondly, remember, it was during COVID in 2020.
00:02:24.000 During this time in 2020, they wouldn't have allowed even this kind of gathering unless, of course, we were protesting, you know, anti-racism or some nonsense.
00:02:32.000 No way would we be allowed to do an outdoor voter registration event four years ago.
00:02:38.000 So you can kind of chalk this up to another thing that did not happen and was not happening in 2020 that is now unfolding in real time.
00:02:47.000 I want to play more tape here, not just that one.
00:02:50.000 The 141 is pretty amazing and we were just kind of showing that.
00:02:52.000 Let's play cut 119 here.
00:02:54.000 This is the shot that went viral.
00:02:57.000 Are you registered to vote?
00:02:59.000 Yeah.
00:03:00.000 Huh?
00:03:03.000 Yeah.
00:03:04.000 Here, I'll give you some pens.
00:03:09.000 Is everyone here voting?
00:03:11.000 Why are you doing choices?
00:03:14.000 We've got a pen there.
00:03:16.000 Have you seen Arizona?
00:03:18.000 Hey, there you have it.
00:03:20.000 Thank you.
00:03:21.000 Thank you.
00:03:23.000 So when I challenge you, the audience, to go register voters, that's what it is.
00:03:27.000 It's going out into the streets, having face-to-face conversations, sometimes wearing your MAGA hat, and registering first-time or new voters onto the voter rolls.
00:03:37.000 This is the energy that we need, and this is how we are going to win.
00:03:40.000 The final tally I'm still getting from Turning Point Action, they were out there for hours in 107 degree heat.
00:03:47.000 There is no excuse to sit on the sidelines anymore, anybody.
00:03:50.000 Our students are out there in 107 degree heat, trying to save the country for themselves.
00:03:55.000 Because they're being handed down a battered, brittle, abused, and broken nation.
00:04:01.000 And these students, they want a country.
00:04:04.000 They want a country where they'll be raised in.
00:04:05.000 So I went into the audience and started to ask people questions.
00:04:08.000 Why are you voting for Trump?
00:04:09.000 Why are you voting for Trump?
00:04:09.000 Mind you, it's 107 degrees outside.
00:04:11.000 It was very, very, very, very, very hot.
00:04:14.000 And the number one thing that students would tell me, they'd say economy, immigration, all this, but the through line is very simple.
00:04:23.000 They know that they are currently inheriting a nation that is not on par or nearly as wealthy or powerful as their parents.
00:04:37.000 They know That the social contract has been broken.
00:04:43.000 They know that they have been plundered.
00:04:46.000 Generational theft.
00:04:48.000 They know that they might be drafted into the military for World War III.
00:04:52.000 They know they're not going to be able to own homes under Kamala Harris, which is true.
00:04:55.000 They know that they can't even afford groceries.
00:04:58.000 And they're wondering why is it that my parents were able to have a normal, simple American life and I'm gonna have to be a renter for the rest of my life.
00:05:08.000 I'm gonna have to be a Russian serf.
00:05:09.000 I'm not able to do the basic things that my parents were able to do.
00:05:14.000 The reason why Donald Trump is ascendant amongst Gen Z voters and is seeing massive momentum on the ground of which we are exhibiting to you right now Is this the first time the next generation is worse off since George Washington?
00:05:28.000 I want to play another piece of tape here.
00:05:31.000 This is 117.
00:05:32.000 This is me addressing the crowd with a bullhorn, encouraging people to register to vote.
00:05:37.000 You guys can do this too.
00:05:38.000 Stop being a spectator.
00:05:40.000 You guys can get out into the streets.
00:05:42.000 You can knock on doors.
00:05:43.000 You can go get, you can ask your neighbor that just moved from California, are you registered to vote?
00:05:48.000 This doesn't require any special training.
00:05:51.000 This doesn't require any sort of sophistication.
00:05:53.000 You don't have to go to college to do this.
00:05:54.000 You just have to want to save the country.
00:05:57.000 And failure for us to go out in the streets and do it, we will be responsible if Kamala Harris becomes president.
00:06:03.000 Play Cut 117.
00:06:04.000 So right here, you guys registered to vote?
00:06:09.000 If you are from another state, registered to vote here in Arizona, who's from California?
00:06:17.000 We're gonna hold that against you.
00:06:19.000 Are you registered to vote here?
00:06:20.000 Yes?
00:06:21.000 Arizona?
00:06:21.000 You know?
00:06:23.000 You gotta get registered to vote right here.
00:06:25.000 Alright?
00:06:25.000 Who's from Illinois?
00:06:26.000 Anyone from Illinois?
00:06:27.000 Where are you registered to vote?
00:06:29.000 Here.
00:06:30.000 Good answer.
00:06:30.000 You gotta register to vote in the state of Arizona, okay?
00:06:34.000 Because we do not want a Kamala Harris presidency.
00:06:36.000 Are you ready?
00:06:37.000 Yes!
00:06:38.000 Our team will get it done in what, five minutes?
00:06:42.000 Less than that.
00:06:43.000 Less than five minutes you can register to vote.
00:06:47.000 The credit to the Turning Point Action Team.
00:06:50.000 They were out there for hours registering voters, talking to students, And we're going to get the final tally.
00:06:58.000 Now mind you, this is an election, last time in Arizona, that was determined by 10,000 votes.
00:07:07.000 It was determined by 10,000 votes.
00:07:11.000 And we very well... I'll get the final total.
00:07:14.000 Minimum we registered 300 voters.
00:07:15.000 I think it was closer to 500.
00:07:16.000 I don't want to misspeak.
00:07:19.000 So you do that at Arizona State University, you're losing by less.
00:07:23.000 And that doesn't count all of the thousands of students that came to that event that were already registered, that are voting for Trump.
00:07:32.000 Now mind you, I think Kamala Harris will probably win the vote at Arizona State University, would you say, Blake?
00:07:37.000 Almost certainly, right?
00:07:37.000 Probably.
00:07:38.000 I'm not trying to misrepresent that.
00:07:40.000 But, it is conceivable that we lose by less.
00:07:43.000 That instead of losing by 28 points, we lose by 20 points.
00:07:47.000 Instead of losing by 28 points, we lose by 15 points.
00:07:50.000 Whatever it is, we don't know what that number is, but we're going to do better than we did in 2020.
00:07:55.000 And the mission statement on these campuses is to lose by less.
00:07:58.000 Understand, you're up against huge amounts of indoctrination and brainwashing.
00:08:03.000 So we're trying to just wedge our way in there to try to find a fractional impact.
00:08:10.000 And the entire event yesterday was made possible thanks to the amazing fraternities at Arizona State University.
00:08:17.000 We have a picture of me with the fraternities there.
00:08:19.000 And what strikes me, and we're going to be posting some of these videos, is how diverse the crowd was.
00:08:26.000 I want to play this piece of tape here.
00:08:28.000 This is a young man.
00:08:30.000 His name is Jeff from China.
00:08:32.000 He can't vote because I was going around, hey, why are you voting for Trump?
00:08:34.000 Why are you voting for Trump?
00:08:35.000 It was amazing videos.
00:08:37.000 This is a young man from China with a warning.
00:08:40.000 If he could vote, he would.
00:08:43.000 In fact, he signed up to be a volunteer to get other Americans to go to vote.
00:08:46.000 Even though he's not American, he can volunteer.
00:08:49.000 Click at 142.
00:08:49.000 Why are you voting for Trump?
00:08:52.000 I can't vote.
00:08:53.000 I'm not from here, but I'm from China.
00:08:55.000 Initially, we fled China.
00:08:57.000 I'm in this asylum, actually.
00:08:58.000 But would you vote for Trump if you could?
00:08:59.000 Yes, of course!
00:09:00.000 What's your message for Americans that don't understand tyranny?
00:09:02.000 Vote for socialism!
00:09:04.000 Socialism goes up!
00:09:06.000 Yeah!
00:09:08.000 It's amazing how many Americans want socialism, isn't it?
00:09:12.000 I I mean, that's what Chinese people wanted, and look what happened.
00:09:17.000 And now, you know, it's about to happen to us.
00:09:19.000 So, we fled here, and we wanted this place to not be like China.
00:09:23.000 Don't vote, like what China happened.
00:09:25.000 Don't let that happen!
00:09:26.000 Exactly!
00:09:27.000 And that's why we had to vote for Trump.
00:09:28.000 Exactly, yeah.
00:09:29.000 What's your name?
00:09:30.000 Oh, I'm Jeff.
00:09:31.000 Nice to meet you, man.
00:09:32.000 God bless you.
00:09:33.000 He's here on asylum.
00:09:34.000 Probably a legit asylum claim.
00:09:36.000 And, by the way, he'd be the first one that would be deported by Kamala Harris.
00:09:41.000 Not the Haitians.
00:09:42.000 That's the type of person we actually want in our country.
00:09:46.000 And he's trying to warn you.
00:09:47.000 You vote for Kamala Harris, you're going to turn America into some sort of form of China.
00:09:50.000 That's his words, not mine.
00:09:51.000 Get to work, everybody.
00:09:53.000 Stay in the arena.
00:09:55.000 No more sideline work.
00:09:57.000 It's not enough just to watch the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:09:58.000 That's great.
00:09:59.000 How many voters are you registering?
00:10:00.000 Are you guys talking to your pastors about speaking out?
00:10:03.000 Are you talking to your neighbors?
00:10:04.000 Are you going to your local school board meeting?
00:10:06.000 Are you talking at the local grocery store wearing the MAGA hat?
00:10:10.000 Go do the work.
00:10:11.000 It's on us to win this election.
00:10:16.000 Hold off on purchasing your first order from Balance of Nature because I have some info you need to hear.

00:11:08.000 The way we win is to drive turnout, and every single one of us is about getting to work and driving turnout.
00:11:15.000 What does it mean to drive turnout?
00:11:16.000 If you need to be responsible for 100 people to go out to vote for Trump, minimum.
00:11:21.000 If you want to be ultra-patriot, it's got to be 500 to 1,000.
00:11:23.000 And you've got to start writing down.
00:11:26.000 Have you guys done the work in the audience and started to write down every voter that you're going to be responsible for?
00:11:32.000 Sally Sue Marie.
00:11:33.000 Joe Smith.
00:11:35.000 Dale Jenkins, whatever.
00:11:37.000 And you're gonna make sure that they go and vote and you are going to pester them throughout voting month.
00:11:41.000 Offer them drives to the polling places.
00:11:44.000 Knock on their door.
00:11:45.000 Hey, have you gone and voted?
00:11:47.000 Can you go get your daughter to go and vote?
00:11:47.000 Have you gone and voted?
00:11:49.000 Are they registered to vote?
00:11:50.000 That kind of pestering, that kind of grassroots energy is what is going to make the difference here.
00:11:57.000 Nate Silver has come out, right Blake, and said he's never seen an election this close.
00:12:00.000 It is the closest he's seen and across especially the number of states that are extremely close.
00:12:04.000 And so now is not the time to sit idly by, guys.
00:12:08.000 We are getting a lot of people signing up to want to go chase ballots in Arizona in the month of October.
00:12:13.000 That is tpaction.com slash 100.
00:12:17.000 And just so you understand, what we did yesterday at Arizona State University is yet another place.
00:12:21.000 We did this in Madison.
00:12:22.000 We did this in Penn State.
00:12:24.000 We're doing this all across the country of voter registration, of rallying, of talking to students.
00:12:30.000 This is defining work that could end up being determinative for the rest of the election.
00:12:36.000 My only concern is why are there not more groups doing this in different communities?
00:12:42.000 Why does it require turning point action to have to take this kind of initiative?
00:12:46.000 I guess it's just because the movement has really kind of become used to sitting around and complaining a lot.
00:12:51.000 And not doing the work that is necessary.
00:12:53.000 But you guys can do that work.
00:12:56.000 And you should do that work.
00:12:58.000 Being in the neutral gear is not an option if we want to remain free citizens.
00:13:04.000 Doing nothing is a ticket to tyranny.
00:13:08.000 Now, what is the youth vote looking like?
00:13:09.000 That's a good question.
00:13:11.000 Blake, I want to talk about this one poll.
00:13:12.000 It could be goofy, it could be an outlier, but there's something here, probably, where they polled students at Notre Dame University.
00:13:19.000 What did the poll show?
00:13:19.000 Yep.
00:13:21.000 Okay, so the latest poll is by the Irish Rover, which is a paper at the University of Notre Dame.
00:13:28.000 It says, I'm not super familiar, but it says upholding the Catholic character.
00:13:31.000 So I guess it's probably a Catholic paper at Notre Dame, probably not the main student newspaper.
00:13:36.000 But they distributed a survey through a variety of means.
00:13:41.000 It says the survey was sent to a variety of student dorms, nonpartisan clubs, and it was distributed in classes.
00:13:47.000 And they got results from 700 Likely student voters, is what they said.
00:13:51.000 This is not scientific, probably.
00:13:52.000 It's not ultra-scientific.
00:13:54.000 It does look like they did—it was not just they got whoever.
00:13:57.000 Like, they say they weighted the results to reflect the demographics of the student body to the best of their ability.
00:14:03.000 So they, you know, they tried some scientific methods, but it's not as randomized as, like, a Gallup poll would be.
00:14:09.000 Anyway, what it found was Trump beating Harris 48% to 46%, and that's notable because, yeah, Notre Dame's a Catholic university—Catholic.
00:14:20.000 But in 2020, they did a mock election.
00:14:22.000 The student government did a mock election.
00:14:25.000 So not the same people.
00:14:26.000 It's not the paper this time.
00:14:27.000 They did a mock election.
00:14:28.000 It had 3,500 votes.
00:14:30.000 That was about, I'd say, a quarter of the student body.
00:14:33.000 And that was Joe Biden 66%, Trump 29%.
00:14:35.000 And in 2016, there was a mock election.
00:14:36.000 Again, slightly different.
00:14:39.000 In 2015, there was a mock election, again, slightly different, only 850 students that
00:14:39.000 Only 850 students that time.
00:14:44.000 time, but it was 59% for Hillary, 24% for Trump.
00:14:49.000 So we have two past mock election results, also of dubious scientific merit, but those
00:14:55.000 showed big Democrat win.
00:14:57.000 Now we have a poll that, you know, at least tried to be representative and it showed basically a dead heat.
00:15:03.000 And so, are they going to do another election at Notre Dame, potentially?
00:15:07.000 Like another mock student government election?
00:15:09.000 I doubt it, just maybe they will.
00:15:12.000 I don't know exactly what the plans are there.
00:15:14.000 I guess the student body's won when they did them, and the last time was right before the election, so they might do it when November arrives.
00:15:21.000 So at that point, I guess we'll see.
00:15:24.000 And so everyone, if this is correct, which is a big if, that means that the youth vote at Notre Dame moved almost 30 points?
00:15:31.000 Yeah.
00:15:32.000 Now, let's say that's half true.
00:15:34.000 If it moves 15 points, that's... That's a big deal.
00:15:36.000 That's major.
00:15:37.000 Very big deal.
00:15:38.000 And you can't... It's not just the fact that you're getting their votes specifically, but what this does to a lot of Democrat stuff downstream.
00:15:49.000 Democrats have always been able to count on having a huge number of volunteer bodies to do a lot of their electioneering work when it approaches.
00:15:56.000 They just have these young people who have tons of free time are willing to go do this.
00:16:00.000 If that number has gone down, That messes with their turnout stuff.
00:16:04.000 Also, Democrat get-out-the-vote has always benefited from there being so many places where if you up the turnout, it's 90% Democrat.
00:16:11.000 So, you know, they've always benefited from, oh, if we just get out the vote in like this black neighborhood in a city, we don't really need to aim for Democrats because almost everyone will be a Democrat.
00:16:22.000 That's right.
00:16:22.000 All of their get-out-the-vote is less efficient if those groups are a little bit less Democrat overall.
00:16:30.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:16:31.000 Have you heard about Dinesh D'Souza's new movie?
00:16:33.000 It's based on his book by the same name, Vindicating Trump.
00:16:36.000 This movie is a searching examination about the real reasons why the left and the Democrats hate Donald Trump so much.
00:16:42.000 They call him a tyrannical dictator, but in truth, it's the American government's authoritarian regime that's afraid.
00:16:49.000 Afraid that Trump will dethrone them once again.
00:16:52.000 As a charismatic leader, he mobilizes the people, he gets things done, and they don't like it.
00:16:56.000 That's why they're trying to get rid of him.
00:16:58.000 To throw him in jail using lawsuits and indictments.
00:17:01.000 And even an assassination attempt on his life.
00:17:03.000 Vindicating Trump reveals Donald Trump as the only man who can defeat the tyranny of the left.
00:17:09.000 And that's why we need his leadership.
00:17:11.000 Now more than ever.
00:17:12.000 Don't miss Dinesh D'Souza's unqualified defense of Trump based on his book, Vindicating Trump, in theaters nationwide starting Friday, September 27th.
00:17:20.000 Make your plans now.

00:17:24.000 That is VindicatingTrump.com.

00:17:30.000 Joining us now is Miranda Devine, author of the—congratulations on the new book, Miranda, The Big Guy, How a President and His Son Sold Out America.
00:17:39.000 But we're here to talk about a different potential criminal, and that is Eric Adams, the mayor of New York.
00:17:46.000 So walk us through just some of the facts associated here, Miranda, and then I have a very specific follow-up question.
00:17:51.000 There's a lot to do with upgrading first-class flights of Turkish Airlines.
00:17:55.000 What are the details here?
00:17:57.000 They're pretty jaw dropping, really.
00:18:00.000 Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on charges that he allegedly took $10 million in illegal campaign contributions and bribes.
00:18:10.000 And as you said, that includes, you know, free flights and various other perks from foreign nationals.
00:18:16.000 And, you know, it's interesting that he's Claiming that he's been targeted by the Biden administration because he complained about, you know, the city's just really awful illegal migrant crisis.
00:18:30.000 It's cost the city more than five billion dollars so far.
00:18:33.000 But, you know, when you look at the indictment, these are pretty serious charges.
00:18:37.000 So I guess you could say both are true.
00:18:40.000 Maybe the feds would not have investigated him.
00:18:45.000 If he hadn't displeased the Biden administration with his outspoken complaints, but they certainly did find something.
00:18:53.000 Yeah, I guess that was going to be my question.
00:18:55.000 Is that is he actually a criminal or is it because he was he spoke out a little bit too much against the regime?
00:19:02.000 Maybe it's both.
00:19:03.000 And look, he did speak out, but that's kind of all he did.
00:19:07.000 What he was really saying was, oh, we need more money from the Biden administration to be able to accommodate all these migrants and we are a sanctuary city, etc.
00:19:16.000 It's been a total disaster.
00:19:18.000 And I think he's tried to be, he certainly was better than Bill de Blasio, who totally destroyed the city in his two terms.
00:19:27.000 But He has sort of managed to get on top of crime and homelessness slightly, but the illegal migrant crisis came on his watch and he really while he sort of thundered a little bit, he really didn't do much that was concrete apart from accommodate them and put
00:19:45.000 of New York into more and more debt. And he also is a bit of a man about town. You know, he's always
00:19:51.000 at Zero Bond, which is this nightclub downtown scene, comes very late. He's a real night owl and
00:19:58.000 is seen with the, you know, the rich and famous. And he seems to love that, dresses beautifully.
00:20:04.000 And thank you for joining us.
00:20:05.000 So he's a bit of a playboy guy.
00:20:07.000 And so it's not all that surprising if these charges have any merit to see that he was, you know, allegedly taking bribes.
00:20:17.000 Yeah, it definitely fits a pattern of someone who enjoys, let's just say, the high life of New York City.
00:20:23.000 He's commonly known, as you say, going to bars and clubs and hanging around.
00:20:28.000 And so, just how chaotic has his administration been?
00:20:33.000 Has he run this like a Tammany Hall, well-known, you know, Iron Fist mayor?
00:20:40.000 Or is it kind of more of a guy that enjoys the trappings of being mayor and his office is kind of a mess?
00:20:45.000 It's really Eric Adams and his entourage.
00:20:48.000 He just has these pals that sort of look relatively shady and they travel around with him and they go to these restaurants and, you know, dress slick like he does.
00:21:00.000 And it doesn't seem to be Tammany Hall organised, I'll say that.
00:21:05.000 And you can see how his Associates have just been falling like kingpins lately.
00:21:10.000 There have been, I think, six resignations, as I said.
00:21:16.000 The police commissioner and then even the interim police commissioner just got raided last weekend.
00:21:26.000 So there seems to be a lot of rot in his administration and certainly there's ample evidence for the Feds to go after whether or not, I mean they're all innocent until proven guilty, but and whether or not they amount to anything.
00:21:41.000 I don't think that Eric Adams can get away with just saying, oh, I'm being targeted because, you know, I spoke up for the city of New York.
00:21:49.000 You know, there's a hell of a lot of smoke here.
00:21:51.000 Yeah.
00:21:51.000 And I just, what does it say, Miranda, about the lack of integrity for the justice system?
00:21:58.000 When we see this indictment and my immediate reaction is, what is the motive?
00:22:02.000 Not that Eric Adams is this terrible criminal, but immediately I say, okay, what is really going on here?
00:22:07.000 Miranda, that's an unhealthy place for us to be as a country.
00:22:11.000 Yeah, it really is.
00:22:12.000 I went through the same thought process myself because my initial reaction was, oh, of course, they've targeted him.
00:22:19.000 You know, because remember, he was on a plane en route to Washington, D.C.
00:22:25.000 last year to confront Joe Biden about the illegal migrants who were being you know, flown and shipped into New York and the federal
00:22:34.000 government was refusing to fund any of the costs and was actually threatening to make New York pay for
00:22:41.000 a whole lot of previously like Medicaid and so on bills that were footed by the feds. And anyway,
00:22:48.000 he was on his way there and he gets told that there's been a raid on his office, that his
00:22:55.000 devices are being taken and he has to turn around go back to New York and he's met there by the feds.
00:23:02.000 So, um...
00:23:03.000 That seemed like it was a deliberate way of stopping him from coming to Washington and being a trouble to Biden.
00:23:14.000 I have no proof of this, but what it seems to me, just the pattern, the way that the FBI has been weaponized by the Biden administration to go after Joe Biden's political enemies, that it looks as if Eric Adams was deemed a political threat.
00:23:35.000 So the FBI was sicked on him.
00:23:40.000 They started searching and then they found a whole lot of dirt and the Southern District has come in and prosecutors probably acting completely honestly and above board as they would with any person Who's discovered with all this wrongdoing alleged attached to them.
00:23:58.000 They just are doing their job.
00:23:59.000 So Eric Adams is at fault for having dirt that could be found.
00:24:04.000 But by the same token, there are a lot of Democrats doing a lot of dirty things.
00:24:08.000 You look at Joe Biden, you look at his family.
00:24:10.000 All the influence peddling that they were up to.
00:24:12.000 You look at Nancy Pelosi and others, including Republicans in Washington who are making a fortune out of the stock market.
00:24:20.000 There's a lot of shady dealings going on in politics that would not be tolerated in the private sector. I was talking to a banker last night
00:24:30.000 and he was saying, you know, if he if he takes a meal or takes anything over $50 from a
00:24:36.000 foreign national, he has to declare it.
00:24:39.000 And that should be the way for politicians. It should be even more stringent considering the
00:24:43.000 power that they wield, but it's not.
00:24:46.000 And so therefore they get sloppy and you have these situations where when the hammer comes down, occasionally, very occasionally, there's a whole lot of dirt to be found.
00:24:58.000 Yeah, and I mean, that's well said.
00:25:00.000 And by the way, Miranda, I was joking around with Blake, who's here with me.
00:25:04.000 When he was on that flight from New York to DC, he was at Turkish Airlines.
00:25:08.000 Probably not, but we shouldn't be surprised.
00:25:10.000 What's so funny in it is you find these instances, like he's going to France for something, but because he wants to fly on Turkish Airlines, he flies all the way to Istanbul, which, you know, adds another 2,000 miles to the flight, and then he has to double back to France and he has this long layover in Istanbul and they have these text messages someone sends him it's like what where are aren't you in France he's like oh no I got to do the layover in Istanbul first we talked about this and there's so much funny stuff and he did this because he would be quote-unquote automatically upgraded on Turkish Airlines yeah basically it seems like there was this arrangement where he would buy a coach ticket and Turkish Airlines would come and they would you know just
00:25:49.000 You know, happily for free, I'd give him this $15,000 upgrade, and they would do this on every flight.
00:25:54.000 And there's another case where a friend or domestic partner of Adam's wanted to fly to... they wanted to visit Easter Island in the Pacific Ocean.
00:26:03.000 That's where those, like, weird Easter Island heads are.
00:26:05.000 Hard to get to.
00:26:06.000 And they have the discussion where he's like, I'm trying to see if Turkish Airlines has a flight to Chile.
00:26:12.000 Yeah, and that's not quite yet.
00:26:14.000 So, Miranda, I guess the thought process here is that, and by the way, just for the record, Turkish Airlines is an objectively great airline, I'm just gonna say.
00:26:21.000 Almost all, like, those foreign flagship airlines are amazing, and then you fly on an American airline, and you're like, ugh.
00:26:29.000 But you know why?
00:26:29.000 Because the government heavily subsidizes it.
00:26:31.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:26:31.000 It's not organically better.
00:26:33.000 Miranda, this is more than just flight upgrades, though, right?
00:26:36.000 I want to be clear.
00:26:36.000 The indictment is deeper than just flying first class.
00:26:40.000 Yeah, free hotels, you know, discounted luxury hotels, meals, entertainment.
00:26:48.000 You know, he wanted to live like a billionaire and it's this very similar pattern with Joe Biden.
00:26:56.000 He wants to live a lifestyle that he can't personally afford and that his salary doesn't give him and so he's just very susceptible to being bribed and duchessed by people who want favours and The problem is once you go down that track, you really become beholden to your benefactors and they ratchet up the pressure and they want more and more.
00:27:19.000 And, you know, it's so cheap, really.
00:27:22.000 I know that it's expensive.
00:27:25.000 I mean, like $12,000 upgrades on his trip to India, $41,000 to France, Turkey and China.
00:27:31.000 You know, it's not chicken feed, but by the same token, you're selling your soul.
00:27:35.000 You're becoming corrupt.
00:27:37.000 You'd think that you'd maybe want to get more money than that.
00:27:41.000 And then, of course, his campaign getting, you know, cash funds, which are sort of falsely put through the books, laundered in a different way.
00:27:52.000 So, I don't know.
00:27:54.000 It just seems pathetic that you would sell your soul for a first grade ticket, you know.
00:28:00.000 We all like travelling first class.
00:28:02.000 If we ever got the opportunity to do it, of course, it's much nicer than coach.
00:28:06.000 But honestly, I think it would be much better for him and for everybody else if he just remained humble.
00:28:14.000 And I think he's going to have the book thrown at him.
00:28:17.000 Well, speaking of the book, everyone should get a different book thrown at them.
00:28:20.000 It's called The Big Guy by Miranda Devine, How a President and His Son Sold Out America.
00:28:25.000 Miranda, I would like to have you back on sometime soon to discuss that book.
00:28:28.000 And the other question I was going to ask, but we're out of time, is, isn't it interesting, Eric Adams gets indicted for first-class flights, but, you know, we don't yet have that big Biden indictment for selling out the country for cash.
00:28:39.000 It's interesting.
00:28:40.000 Yeah, 100%.
00:28:42.000 And I'll just say one more thing, which is that John Katzmatidis, who is the New York billionaire and owner of Gristidis and owner of WOBC Radio, a great guy, you know, he He should be interim mayor.
00:28:57.000 I don't think that there's so many problems besetting New York at the moment.
00:29:01.000 He's going to be totally distracted.
00:29:05.000 And I think John Katsimatidis has shown an interest in doing that.
00:29:10.000 He's a great man.
00:29:11.000 Wouldn't he be great?
00:29:12.000 He'd be a phenomenal mayor.
00:29:13.000 I know his son.
00:29:14.000 They'd be terrific.
00:29:15.000 Miranda, thank you so much.
00:29:16.000 Great idea.
00:29:17.000 Thanks, Charlie.
00:29:17.000 Thank you.
00:29:21.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:29:22.000 What an unbelievable start to 2024.
00:29:24.000 We had last month saving babies with preborn by providing ultrasounds.
00:29:28.000 And we're doing again this year what we did last year.
00:29:30.000 We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.
00:29:35.000 As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.
00:29:41.000 Your gift to preborn will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.
00:29:48.000 $280 can save 10 babies.
00:29:50.000 $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.
00:29:53.000 And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.
00:29:59.000 And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.
00:30:02.000 Call 833-850-2229.
00:30:05.000 That's 833-850-2229.
00:30:07.000 Or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com.
00:30:11.000 That is charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:30:14.000 Also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.
00:30:16.000 I'm a donor of this organization.
00:30:17.000 They're terrific.
00:30:18.000 Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:30:23.000 Please remember, it is time to chase ballots.
00:30:27.000 We are running out of time to register voters, and every one of you can be a force multiplier.
00:30:32.000 So let's just make this as simple as I can.
00:30:35.000 Find one voter today.
00:30:36.000 Find one voter today that is either not registered or will not be voting.
00:30:41.000 Blake, what is the turnout in 2020?
00:30:43.000 The turnout?
00:30:44.000 It was very high.
00:30:47.000 Let me bring it up real quick.
00:30:49.000 62%?
00:30:50.000 Let's see.
00:30:50.000 The turnout in 2020 was 66.6%.
00:30:55.000 A very demonic turnout for a demonic result.
00:30:58.000 I don't think we're going to have that kind of turnout.
00:31:00.000 2016 was 60.
00:31:01.000 So 6% total turnout increase is a lot.
00:31:04.000 So that still means, though, that 34% of the country doesn't vote.
00:31:08.000 Yeah, and for comparison, 2008, a very high turnout election, 61.5%.
00:31:12.000 Crazy.
00:31:13.000 What do you think we're going to have this time?
00:31:15.000 Probably 62?
00:31:16.000 I could see it being surprisingly low.
00:31:18.000 I could see like 58% or something, like the 2012 election.
00:31:22.000 That would actually help Kamala, believe it or not.
00:31:26.000 Okay, never mind.
00:31:27.000 It's going to be higher.
00:31:27.000 It's going to be great.
00:31:29.000 Drive high turnout.
00:31:30.000 Drive high turnout.
00:31:31.000 Go find a voter.
00:31:33.000 Okay, I want to get into the MSNBC interview here, Blake.
00:31:36.000 So, let's play Cut 1, 27.
00:31:38.000 Prices are still high.
00:31:39.000 Yeah, I agree with you.
00:31:40.000 You said you want to take this on by going after those who engage in price gouging.
00:31:45.000 Yeah.
00:31:46.000 But as somebody who supports free markets, who's a capitalist, how do you go after price gouging without implementing price controls?
00:31:55.000 Because once we get in this zone, people start to get worried and they say, I don't know what she stands for.
00:32:00.000 So just to be very frank, I am never going to apologize for going after Companies and corporations that take advantage of the desperation of the American people.
00:32:14.000 And yeah, I'm gonna go after them.
00:32:15.000 Yes, I'm going to go after them.
00:32:18.000 And that is part of a much more comprehensive plan on what we can do to bring down the cost of living, including housing, including the everyday needs of the American people.
00:32:29.000 That's not an answer to the question, really.
00:32:31.000 She just pivots to, like, I'm never going to apologize for doing the things we need to do to do the good things.
00:32:37.000 Yeah.
00:32:37.000 And just reminding you that fixing grocery prices is price controls.
00:32:44.000 And it's just like manifestly insane behavior.
00:32:48.000 Explain why, quickly.
00:32:49.000 Well, so first of all, the grocery industry is infamously the tightest margin industry, that's why.
00:32:56.000 Pharmacies came to be.
00:32:57.000 Yeah, it's very difficult to make a lot of money in groceries.
00:33:01.000 It's a highly competitive good that everyone needs.
00:33:04.000 They basically get by on 1 or 2% margins.
00:33:08.000 And the idea that they just hike prices because of greed is just very silly.
00:33:16.000 And also, it's just food price controls are very classically a failed economic behavior
00:33:22.000 that's been a feature of very backwards governments.
00:33:25.000 You'll see it in Venezuela.
00:33:28.000 You'll see it in Cuba.
00:33:29.000 You'd see it in the Soviet Union.
00:33:30.000 And what you get is shortages.
00:33:32.000 When you do price controls on goods, the result is not, oh, the goods are cheaper and it's great!
00:33:36.000 You get shortages, because prices are a mechanism to keep supply matching with demand.
00:33:42.000 That's right.
00:33:42.000 That's how the supplier and the demander, or the customer, communicate.
00:33:47.000 So yes, you will get food shortages if Kamala gets her way.
00:33:50.000 Let's play Cut 134.
00:33:51.000 The word of the day is holistic.
00:33:54.000 Some of the work is going to be through what we do in terms of giving benefits and assistance to state and local governments around transit dollars.
00:34:03.000 And looking holistically at the connection between that and housing.
00:34:08.000 And looking holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can create for local and state governments to actually engage in planning in a holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing for working people.
00:34:21.000 Madam Vice President, what does holistic mean?
00:34:24.000 Exactly. You use that word three times. What is holistic?
00:34:28.000 You know, the left can't define basic terms. I think you were onto something, Blake, where
00:34:33.000 someone in one of these interviews say, OK, so you say you're a prosecutor. Here's three
00:34:36.000 random questions. What is the Fifth Amendment?
00:34:40.000 Kamala, what is the Fifth Amendment? Can you tell me what it is? What was Marbury versus
00:34:48.000 Madison? Very simple, like, you know, establish judicial review. And I don't know. What was
00:34:53.000 What's one other?
00:34:55.000 Do some civil procedure question that a regular prosecutor would know.
00:34:59.000 I don't even have to know it, but a prosecutor should know it.
00:35:01.000 But those two right there are pretty simple, right?
00:35:03.000 What is Marbury v. Madison and what is the Fifth Amendment?
00:35:05.000 Do you think Kamala knows the answer to those two questions?
00:35:07.000 Unlikely.
00:35:08.000 In fairness, do you think Trump knows the answer on Marbury v. Madison?
00:35:10.000 But he doesn't pretend to be a prosecutor.
00:35:12.000 It's not a shtick.
00:35:13.000 Do I think Donald Trump knows what drywall is?
00:35:17.000 It'd be really funny if someone asked him a straight real estate question and have him just go.
00:35:21.000 I've had this idea for his campaign for a while, running out of time.
00:35:23.000 Donald Trump walking a job site and filming it would be hilarious.
00:35:27.000 He knows every detail of how job sites work.
00:35:29.000 Start telling a story about something.
00:35:31.000 100%.
00:35:31.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.

00:35:35.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
