00:00:03.000 My name is Charlie Kirk.
00:00:05.000 I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic.
00:00:11.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:00:14.000 If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable.
00:00:19.000 But if the most important thing is doing good, you'll end up purposeful.
00:00:24.000 College is a scam, everybody.
00:00:26.000 You got to stop sending your kids to college.
00:00:27.000 You should get married as young as possible and have as many kids as possible.
00:00:31.000 Go start a Turning Point USA college chapter.
00:00:33.000 Go start a Turning Point USA high school chapter.
00:00:35.000 Go find out how your church can get involved.
00:00:37.000 Sign up and become an activist.
00:00:39.000 I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade.
00:00:41.000 Most important decision I ever made in my life.
00:00:43.000 And I encourage you to do the same.
00:00:45.000 Here I am.
00:00:46.000 Lord, use me.
00:00:48.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:56.000 The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold, the leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
00:01:09.000 All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:11.000 I'm Andrew Colvett, executive producer of this fine show.
00:01:14.000 And join to my left, a little lopsided today, Blake Neff.
00:01:18.000 Honored to be with you all.
00:01:20.000 And what an evening it was last night.
00:01:23.000 So much going on.
00:01:24.000 There was this, I mean, the world exclusive, the first time Erica has gone on camera in an interview, Erica Kirk, Charlie's widow, of course.
00:01:36.000 Actually, that's not true.
00:01:36.000 She came on this show for a few segments just to talk about the future of this show and how we are continuing on in Charlie's honor and legacy.
00:01:47.000 But really, this was the first time network television, live prime time with Jesse Waters.
00:01:53.000 And it was, it was, I've, I've gotten so many texts.
00:01:57.000 I've gotten so many people just saying how remarkable her courage and her bravery is.
00:02:03.000 And I can tell you that the interview happened in this room right here where we're sitting.
00:02:09.000 They did it right there.
00:02:11.000 The production team, our amazing production team, by the way, who's just been tremendous throughout this whole process, cleared out a lot of our own gear and made room for Jesse's team to get in here.
00:02:21.000 They did the interview right there.
00:02:23.000 I sat against that wall during it.
00:02:26.000 There was a number of Fox's production team in here.
00:02:30.000 And I watched it happen live.
00:02:32.000 And I knew it was going to be a really incredible, incredible moment for the world to see.
00:02:38.000 Because I will tell you, Blake, live and in person, I was pretty much a wreck when it was happening.
00:02:47.000 And I actually asked Jesse after the interview, I said, how did you keep it together?
00:02:51.000 Like, I saw him there.
00:02:52.000 He was like sitting there stoked.
00:02:54.000 And he's like, I had to emotionally prep in advance to make sure that I was not going to break down or get emotional.
00:03:00.000 You can kind of tell because he actually, like, the way he asks his questions is a little like robotic almost.
00:03:06.000 Yeah.
00:03:06.000 You can tell he was sort of disassociating.
00:03:09.000 But that's exactly what he said he did.
00:03:10.000 He had to disconnect himself from his own emotions.
00:03:13.000 And he said, even still, she almost got him a couple times.
00:03:18.000 And he's like, I don't even know how I got through that interview.
00:03:23.000 It was that difficult.
00:03:24.000 And I know Erica, after it happened, basically collapsed.
00:03:29.000 I mean, she is brave.
00:03:31.000 She is courageous.
00:03:32.000 She knew she had to.
00:03:35.000 I mean, if I could just, a little inside baseball here, I've gotten personally for Erica probably like 60 what you would call reputable interview requests, like big outlets, you know, reporters.
00:03:50.000 I mean, there's probably hundreds more than that, but like legitimate journalists that have wanted to interview Erica.
00:03:58.000 And so she sort of knew that this was going to have to happen at some point.
00:04:03.000 And I think Jesse Waters did a phenomenal job.
00:04:06.000 Hat to the whole Fox team.
00:04:07.000 It was very classy, very, very professional, very respectful.
00:04:12.000 But Jesse went there.
00:04:13.000 He went into, like, he asked all the questions.
00:04:16.000 Let's show the clips.
00:04:17.000 Let's do it.
00:04:18.000 Well, actually, I just want to.
00:04:19.000 Okay, yeah, go ahead.
00:04:20.000 You picked the first clip.
00:04:22.000 Let's do, you know, let's just do the most basic one.
00:04:26.000 Let's do clip 250.
00:04:30.000 You told your children that Charlie was going on a work trip with Jesus.
00:04:34.000 Are they still asking, where's daddy?
00:04:37.000 Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it's really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things.
00:04:42.000 And I said, if ever you want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him.
00:04:47.000 He can hear you.
00:04:49.000 I told her, I said, you know, Daddy, Daddy is in heaven.
00:04:56.000 She goes, you think I could go sometime?
00:05:01.000 I said, baby, we will all go one day.
00:05:06.000 We will all go one day.
00:05:09.000 Yeah, I mean, I don't know about you, Blake, but the kid clips specifically, I just, a lot of people clipped them up, put them on social media.
00:05:17.000 But I just, there is something crazy hard to watch about the kid clips.
00:05:23.000 Anyways, keep it going.
00:05:26.000 Let's do, you know, a lot of these actually go well just in order.
00:05:30.000 You know, she talks about, oh man, there's so many of these.
00:05:34.000 Let's do just her talking about how she found out about things because there have been evil people trying to do nasty stuff about this.
00:05:43.000 Let's do 361.
00:05:46.000 We saw the hats being flung.
00:05:48.000 I put my phone down and it was on silent, so I had no reason to look back at it.
00:05:52.000 When I moved my mom, I went back to grab my phone, and that's when Mikey started calling me.
00:05:57.000 Called me within seconds.
00:06:00.000 I called Erica.
00:06:04.000 You guys remember it rang like three or four times.
00:06:07.000 I didn't know what to say.
00:06:08.000 Those are the words that will change someone's life forever, and you have to be the one to say it.
00:06:12.000 That was the first time I've ever called her during a campus tour stop.
00:06:16.000 And so Mikey called me.
00:06:18.000 And I'll never forget him just being like, Charlie's been shot.
00:06:23.000 Get the kids.
00:06:23.000 He's been shot.
00:06:25.000 Get the kids.
00:06:25.000 Get security.
00:06:26.000 He's been shot.
00:06:26.000 Get the kids.
00:06:27.000 I sprinted out of her treatment center and just collapsed in the middle of the parking lot.
00:06:34.000 Yeah, do we want to address this?
00:06:36.000 Because, you know, we've talked about it before, but I mean, basically, and I have some experience with this too, because Charlie had told me along, you know, from time to time, not as much as he told Mikey, but he did tell me, like, listen, if anything ever happens, you call Erica.
00:06:54.000 And, you know, especially like, you know, when we were out at these events, like, he would say, hey, just let Erica know.
00:07:00.000 You know, and sometimes it would almost be joking.
00:07:03.000 Like, and so, anyways, Mikey, you know, basically is standing next to Charlie's side when it happens.
00:07:11.000 He turns around, puts his fingers in his ear, and walks away.
00:07:14.000 And he, he instantly, I think just like the noise of that place was so crazy.
00:07:21.000 He ends up calling his wife.
00:07:23.000 They call Erica.
00:07:24.000 They tell Erica.
00:07:25.000 And that moment, you know, I think the thing that hit me when Erica said that is that Mikey, and I think Mikey said it, said he never had called Erica during an event.
00:07:36.000 Yeah, that never.
00:07:38.000 And yet it makes sense.
00:07:39.000 Kind of, why would he?
00:07:39.000 Yeah.
00:07:40.000 Because he's busy.
00:07:40.000 Like Mikey's whole job at these events was to take social media videos and get it out to all the social media teams of Charlie coming up to the crowd and Charlie coming up, throwing the hats.
00:07:49.000 And we put them out on social media and they, you know, people loved seeing that because I think it was inspiring for people.
00:07:54.000 So that was Mikey's job.
00:07:56.000 And anyways, the fact that he never called her from an event was because there was no need to, you know.
00:08:04.000 Let's keep going here.
00:08:05.000 Let's do, you know, this is another one I thought was interesting.
00:08:10.000 She's saying that she's just not going to ever actually look at the video herself.
00:08:15.000 Let's do 377.
00:08:17.000 There's certain things you see in your life that mark your soul forever.
00:08:20.000 I don't want my husband's public assassination to be something I ever see.
00:08:28.000 I don't want my kids to ever see that.
00:08:32.000 And for people who actually enjoy watching that, which is quite literally sick.
00:08:40.000 What if that was your father or your brother or your sister?
00:08:46.000 There's a perspective shift there.
00:08:49.000 We're human.
00:08:50.000 Life is fragile.
00:08:55.000 And there is so much beauty in this world.
00:09:00.000 Why would you waste any portion of your life looking at something so evil?
00:09:06.000 And, you know, one last one, because I really wish we could play all of these, but I really like this one.
00:09:10.000 Let's play 379.
00:09:12.000 Would Charlie have forgiven his killer?
00:09:17.000 He's in heaven.
00:09:20.000 And he sees everything full picture.
00:09:25.000 And I truly believe that if the Lord, which this does not happen, but if the Lord gave him an option to return back to earth, and if the Lord said, this is what your death is going to be the catalyst for, do you want to go back and exchange it?
00:09:48.000 He'd say no.
00:09:50.000 Whoa.
00:09:51.000 He'd say no.
00:09:54.000 You know, it's interesting.
00:09:55.000 In the days after it happened, I had like three different people tell me that they had sort of like almost a vision or a picture in their mind of that exactly what she was describing.
00:10:07.000 I just finished watching one of the most powerful news series I've seen in a long time, Truth and Treason, now streaming on Angel.
00:10:15.000 It's the true story of Helmuth Hubener, a teenager in Nazi Germany who dared to stand against one of the most terrifying regimes in history, armed with nothing but a typewriter and the truth.
00:10:27.000 He printed anti-Nazi leaflets exposing the lies of the Third Reich.
00:10:31.000 He knew the risks.
00:10:32.000 He knew it could cost him everything, but he did it anyways because when you see tyranny, silence is not an option.
00:10:39.000 This series is gut-wrenching, yet deeply inspiring.
00:10:42.000 Helmuth's courage speaks just as powerfully today as it did then.
00:10:46.000 Angel Studios, the same team behind The Sound of Freedom in Homestead, has done it again, telling stories that celebrate truth, faith, and freedom.
00:10:54.000 These aren't just good films.
00:10:56.000 They're cultural reset buttons.
00:10:58.000 When you join the Angel Guild, you don't just stream entertainment, you help create it.
00:11:02.000 Visit angel.com/slash Charlie to join the Angel Guild and stream Truth and Treason today.
00:11:08.000 Be part of the movement that amplifies light.
00:11:13.000 So, Erica Kirk, we're going to keep playing these clips from her first exclusive interview with Jesse Waters.
00:11:19.000 I thought it was tremendous, a triumph.
00:11:21.000 My congratulations to the entire team that was involved and to, of course, Erica, who comported herself so bravely and gracefully.
00:11:28.000 Let's keep playing the clips here, Blake.
00:11:30.000 Yeah, so let's do, what we want to hit is Riley pointed this out.
00:11:35.000 We should, a lot of people have sent us stuff.
00:11:38.000 They've sent us things into, you know, the office, into the studio.
00:11:42.000 And I think, you know, they might wonder how that's gone.
00:11:45.000 And so Erica actually showed Jesse what we've been doing with that.
00:11:48.000 So let's play 363.
00:11:50.000 Oh, my goodness.
00:11:51.000 I know.
00:11:53.000 Everyone's sending all of this here.
00:11:57.000 They received tens of thousands of letters, cards, gifts, personal Bibles, paintings, and more.
00:12:06.000 A lot of this is from when people came to the campus, the Turning Point USA offices, and left it outside the gates.
00:12:14.000 Also, a lot has been mailed.
00:12:16.000 I mean, it's just unbelievably humbling.
00:12:19.000 But this is all mail.
00:12:22.000 I told them not to throw anything away.
00:12:24.000 I want every single card saved for my kids.
00:12:29.000 And for when, if the day gets hard at your desk, you come into this mail room, and I want you to come in, and I want you to pick up any of these cards, and I want you to read it so you can put into perspective why you work here.
00:12:46.000 Oh my gosh.
00:12:48.000 I need to stop in there.
00:12:49.000 I haven't actually gone in.
00:12:49.000 Yeah, I haven't gone in yet.
00:12:51.000 I know it is there.
00:12:52.000 I should go by later today.
00:12:53.000 We have one more thing that we want to flag.
00:12:56.000 Jesse asked, do you think they have the right guy who did this?
00:13:00.000 Let's do 385.
00:13:01.000 Do you think they've caught your husband's killer?
00:13:04.000 We have one of the most incredible teams for this case.
00:13:12.000 I would never wish it upon anybody to have to go through what we are going through.
00:13:19.000 To have seen the autopsy report, to have seen the different evidence portions that have been collected.
00:13:32.000 I trust our team.
00:13:34.000 Yeah, and I will just say that, you know, I'm not next of kin.
00:13:40.000 You can't comment on everything either, Blake.
00:13:42.000 You know, and I think that leaves a vacuum.
00:13:45.000 And there's bad actors, there's, and frankly, there's good actors too that really care about Charlie and getting justice for Charlie that have come into that space and are inserting, I think, doubt or questions.
00:13:56.000 Some of it's good faith questions.
00:13:58.000 A lot of it's bad faith questions.
00:14:00.000 But I will just tell you, the team is like, this is a rock-solid case.
00:14:05.000 They have a ton of evidence.
00:14:07.000 And, you know, I noticed our friend Jack is even circulating on social media, Jack Pisovic, the affidavit that, you know, even shows that the parents turned him in and he confessed to them.
00:14:18.000 And it was, you know, apparently this young guy was potentially about to commit suicide.
00:14:26.000 So the family tried to intervene and make him turn himself in.
00:14:28.000 So, I mean, all of the, I know that there's a lot of noise out there.
00:14:32.000 I know there's a lot of noise.
00:14:33.000 Blake, would you say there's a lot of noise?
00:14:36.000 There's a lot of noise.
00:14:36.000 There's a lot of noise.
00:14:37.000 There's a lot.
00:14:37.000 And on one level, it's like, I don't.
00:14:39.000 And a lot of stuff that's also just inaccurate.
00:14:42.000 I mean, she mentioned she's getting the call.
00:14:44.000 And then I saw that online and all these people saying, oh, wasn't she there when it happened?
00:14:49.000 And they're changing their stories.
00:14:50.000 No, the story has never been that she was there.
00:14:52.000 I think people have told a false story.
00:14:54.000 I've noticed a lot of people just assumed that she was there.
00:14:56.000 Or it just became clear.
00:14:57.000 It was very common for people to say, like, he was shot to death in front of his children.
00:15:00.000 I think there were even AI videos where they run up.
00:15:03.000 That's not true.
00:15:03.000 Weird stuff.
00:15:04.000 No, like she was planning on going.
00:15:08.000 And then Charlie told her, stay home with your mom because her mom had doctor's appointments that day and take care of the kids.
00:15:14.000 You need to be home for your mom and for the kids.
00:15:16.000 So she was like, okay, I'll stay.
00:15:18.000 And I'm really grateful that she wasn't there.
00:15:21.000 I'm grateful I wasn't there.
00:15:23.000 And my heart is like with, you know, the team that was there.
00:15:27.000 And anyways, I know there's a vacuum, but let me just assure the audience, I don't know if my words mean anything when people are out there, you know, stirring so much chaos about this, but the case is very good, you know, and there will come a time, this whole trial is going to play out.
00:15:47.000 And we should play that clip, by the way, about cameras in the courtroom, because I thought Erica's point was so well made.
00:15:51.000 It's like Charlie's assassination was everywhere.
00:15:56.000 I mean, I can only imagine billions and billions of views, right?
00:16:00.000 He didn't get a say in that.
00:16:02.000 And so how dare anybody, you know, suggest that there shouldn't be cameras in the courtroom.
00:16:08.000 Like, let the world see.
00:16:09.000 Let the world see.
00:16:10.000 And with all the intrigue, and again, I say this, I know there's a lot of good faith people that just want to get justice for Charlie.
00:16:17.000 Well, so we have nothing to hide.
00:16:19.000 There's nothing to hide in this case.
00:16:20.000 Let the cameras see.
00:16:22.000 Let them in.
00:16:23.000 Let them see.
00:16:26.000 Many of us are hopeful about the direction the country is headed.
00:16:29.000 But after years of abuse and mismanagement, things could fall apart at any moment.
00:16:34.000 That's why I and Americans from all walks of life have taken action to prepare for what's coming next.
00:16:39.000 And that starts with having an emergency food supply.
00:16:42.000 Storing food in your home is the right thing to do because we're living in crazy times, which explains why so many people are preparing.
00:16:50.000 Right now, you can get ready too with a three-month emergency food kit from MyPatriot Supply.
00:16:55.000 It comes with delicious foods like creamy stroganoff, honey wheat bread, and mushroom rice pilaf.
00:17:00.000 The entire kit offers over 2,000 calories a day.
00:17:04.000 This food kit lasts up to 25 years.
00:17:06.000 Who knows what our country will look like then?
00:17:08.000 But when that day comes, you'll be ready.
00:17:10.000 Now, hear from Charlie in his own words.
00:17:12.000 Just go to mypatriotsupply.com slash K-I-R-K and join millions of Americans who are preparing today at mypatriotsupply.com slash Kirk.
00:17:20.000 That is mypatriotsupply.com slash Kirk.
00:17:25.000 I want to bring in our first guest of the day, Kurt Schlichter.
00:17:30.000 Kurt, you're a senior columnist at Town Hall.
00:17:33.000 You have a new piece out, actually, that we're going to get to in just a second.
00:17:37.000 But, you know, we've been going through clips of Erica's interview, the first, the exclusive first, with Jesse Waters last night.
00:17:46.000 And we're getting to a couple more pieces.
00:17:48.000 And I want to, we'll get you in on the reaction for this.
00:17:51.000 But there's a clip just talking about, you know, Blake, you set it up.
00:17:56.000 You set it up.
00:17:57.000 Oh, you want the one on cameras?
00:18:01.000 Yeah.
00:18:01.000 Yeah.
00:18:02.000 I believe that it is 374.
00:18:04.000 The defense wants to ban cameras in the courtroom.
00:18:08.000 How do you feel about that?
00:18:10.000 There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered.
00:18:15.000 There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning.
00:18:19.000 There have been cameras all over me analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear.
00:18:29.000 We deserve to have cameras in there.
00:18:33.000 Why not be transparent?
00:18:35.000 There's nothing to hide.
00:18:37.000 I know there's not because I've seen what the case is built on.
00:18:41.000 Let everyone see what true evil is.
00:18:45.000 This is something that could impact a generation and generations to come.
00:18:49.000 Kurt, why don't you, you're a lawyer.
00:18:52.000 You know, I thought she did beautifully there.
00:18:54.000 I think, you know, it's so true.
00:18:57.000 I mean, we've all been so scrutinized in the aftermath of this.
00:19:00.000 You know, so we're victims as well because, you know, we lose our friend, our boss, our colleague.
00:19:06.000 And then everything has been scrutinized since 9-10 and her most of all.
00:19:13.000 And so bring us into that courtroom.
00:19:15.000 What is the deliberation even about cameras or no cameras?
00:19:19.000 Explain that to us.
00:19:21.000 Clearly, for some reason, the defense doesn't think it's going to be to their benefit to have cameras in the courtroom.
00:19:27.000 And look, I defended people in civil cases.
00:19:31.000 I also brought cases.
00:19:33.000 I get it.
00:19:34.000 And it is important that we protect the rights of this accused person.
00:19:38.000 After all, if he's found guilty of what he did, he's likely to get the death penalty.
00:19:43.000 And if he's guilty of it, he'll deserve it.
00:19:46.000 I think every American has a right to see how justice is done.
00:19:52.000 Trials are public.
00:19:54.000 You can go there.
00:19:55.000 I don't understand why you can't have cameras there.
00:19:57.000 And yes, sometimes lawyers play to the cameras.
00:20:01.000 Okay.
00:20:01.000 They play to the jury all the time.
00:20:03.000 That's why you have a judge to say, calm down, counsel.
00:20:06.000 This is a serious matter.
00:20:08.000 I expect you to behave like a serious attorney with the appropriate level of respect and the appropriate level of dignity that this situation demands.
00:20:18.000 Look, Eric is absolutely right.
00:20:19.000 The American people have a right to see this evidence.
00:20:24.000 They have a right to see if it proves him guilty.
00:20:26.000 They have a right to see if the state can't make its case.
00:20:31.000 Again, we are attempting, as a government, we're attempting to take the life of this man.
00:20:38.000 He's up for the death penalty.
00:20:40.000 He should be up for the death penalty if he can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to have done what he did.
00:20:46.000 Now, do I believe that the evidence is very strong?
00:20:50.000 I believe it's very strong.
00:20:51.000 I believe he's very likely to be convicted.
00:20:53.000 That's not the point.
00:20:55.000 The point is that when we do something like this, we, the people, we have nothing to hide.
00:21:03.000 We have nothing that we don't want everyone to see.
00:21:08.000 So why not have cameras in the courtroom?
00:21:10.000 I think it's an important lesson.
00:21:12.000 And it's important to tell the American people why this person allegedly did what he allegedly did.
00:21:22.000 We want to see it.
00:21:24.000 We want to know.
00:21:26.000 This is going to change.
00:21:27.000 This has changed the course of America's history.
00:21:30.000 All right.
00:21:32.000 This is a crime, and all crimes are devastating to their families.
00:21:37.000 But this also hurt us in a country in a way only a political assassination can hurt us.
00:21:47.000 So we have a right to know exactly what's going on, to know that our prosecutors are doing their job, to know that this person's given the right to a complete and full defense to get all the facts out that he thinks are important while we get all the facts out that we think are vital.
00:22:08.000 So there is no good reason in my mind for a judge in this case not to allow cameras in the courtroom.
00:22:16.000 Again, if he's afraid that people are going to grandstand, you know, there's not a good trial lawyer out there who hasn't had a judge say, simmer down, Mr. Schlichter.
00:22:28.000 You're getting over your skis.
00:22:29.000 This is a trial, not a performance art, not an interpretive dance.
00:22:35.000 Present your case.
00:22:36.000 Yeah.
00:22:37.000 And that's what you should do.
00:22:39.000 I think that's really well said.
00:22:40.000 And, you know, one of the things that, you know, I worry about some of this stuff is it overshadows all of this amazing outpouring of love and support and just the tremendous groundswell of students and support for Turning Point.
00:22:57.000 But we got to do it.
00:22:58.000 I mean, when the trial ends up happening, you better believe that this show is going to be covering it in detail.
00:23:07.000 We're going to be watching every move.
00:23:10.000 This is going to be front and center for us.
00:23:12.000 So we have to just confront the grim reality that is facing us.
00:23:16.000 But I mentioned the fact that we have this outpouring of love and support, and we've had these campus tours.
00:23:21.000 I mean, Charlie's vision was always to have these arenas packed with students.
00:23:25.000 That was his vision.
00:23:27.000 And it's happening.
00:23:28.000 And last night at Auburn, we had Eric Trump, Lara Trump, Benny Johnson, Coach Tommy Tuberville, all out in Auburn.
00:23:36.000 And it was an amazing, amazing event.
00:23:38.000 And then, you know, lo and behold, President Trump calls in in the middle of it.
00:23:42.000 I want to play this clip just because it's just a phenomenal moment.
00:23:46.000 PlayCut 359.
00:23:48.000 Hello.
00:23:49.000 So we have the most beautiful crowd of people, thousands of thousands of people at Auburn University.
00:23:54.000 They are incredibly enthusiastic and they absolutely adore this country.
00:23:58.000 They adore God and they adore you.
00:24:02.000 I want to just say hello to everybody.
00:24:04.000 I hope Eric is doing a good job and Laura's doing a good job.
00:24:08.000 But I just want to pay my respects to Charlie and Erica.
00:24:12.000 These are two incredible people.
00:24:14.000 And Erica, I've spoken to her often.
00:24:16.000 She's just a spectacular person.
00:24:18.000 And she's going to start where Charlie left off.
00:24:22.000 And we love Charlie.
00:24:23.000 He's looking down on us right now, all of us.
00:24:25.000 And Erica, you just, you're there someplace, and you just take care of yourself.
00:24:29.000 We're with you all the way, and we're with the great people that my son and Laura are speaking to.
00:24:35.000 Yeah, beautiful, beautiful moment there.
00:24:37.000 I mean, this is, I love this clip.
00:24:39.000 Kurt, make sense of the aftermath here, of all of this outpouring and what we're seeing across the country because it does end up playing into our politics, our culture, and this moment we're living through.
00:24:51.000 Well, look, this is the first time I've had a chance to be on the show since this disgusting murder.
00:24:58.000 So I haven't said any of this stuff.
00:25:01.000 But, you know, I had the effect of this was enormous.
00:25:08.000 I had people who were not political coming up to me because they knew I was.
00:25:14.000 They knew I had been on Charlie's show, just telling me how sorry they were, and including very liberal people.
00:25:20.000 Just how sorry and disgusted they were.
00:25:23.000 This was something that affected our country in a way that really hasn't happened since maybe the death of Martin Luther King, the death of RFK.
00:25:38.000 This showed that there was something deeply wrong in the country with at least some section of the country.
00:25:44.000 And I expect nothing from the degenerates who celebrated this.
00:25:49.000 They're disgusting people.
00:25:51.000 They have to live with themselves and they have to answer in another place at another time.
00:25:58.000 What really struck me was how normal American people reacted as you would expect normal people to react.
00:26:08.000 That they were appalled, that they were ashamed that someone would do this in our country.
00:26:16.000 An outpouring of caring and concern for Erica and the kids and everybody who Charlie touched.
00:26:24.000 You know, it's easy to become hopeless when something terrible happens, when you face incredible evil, which is what this was, including the aftermath with all the people cheering it on.
00:26:45.000 Maybe sometimes you forget that decency and good are out there and that they're stronger than evil.
00:26:54.000 You're not a strong person because you're celebrating this.
00:26:57.000 You're weak.
00:26:58.000 You're pathetic.
00:26:59.000 You're disgusting and despicable.
00:27:02.000 And I don't want to think about those people.
00:27:04.000 I want to think about the decent people and I want to think about what Charlie did.
00:27:08.000 And I want to think about his legacy.
00:27:10.000 And I got to tell you, and I've watched, I've watched you, and I've sent you some texts telling you, you know, hey, keep it up.
00:27:18.000 You're doing great because you guys are.
00:27:20.000 And I've been watching Erica.
00:27:22.000 And I got to say, if they thought they were going to snuff out this movement by murdering Charlie, when Erica, as Erica goes forward, they're not going to know what hit him.
00:27:35.000 Yeah, she's an incredible person.
00:27:38.000 She's an incredible person.
00:27:39.000 And by the way, I just want to play this really quick because, you know, I said this, I think, last night on Sean Hannity's show that, you know, Erica's always had my love and appreciation and my support.
00:27:51.000 And I saw them dating.
00:27:54.000 I saw them get married.
00:27:55.000 I was at their wedding.
00:27:56.000 But watching her move, you know, step by step in the aftermath of this with such grace and courage and strength has really been, I mean, I just have to say, one of the most tremendous things I've ever seen.
00:28:09.000 Play Cut 251.
00:28:10.000 Do you feel safe?
00:28:12.000 What are they going to threaten me with?
00:28:14.000 Going to heaven sooner to be with my husband.
00:28:16.000 And I don't say that to be reckless.
00:28:18.000 I do not.
00:28:19.000 I do not say that because I'm out in the streets.
00:28:21.000 Like, here I am.
00:28:23.000 Come find me.
00:28:23.000 And it's not at all.
00:28:25.000 It's a fearlessness that's rooted in the understanding that I will have my day and my time, whenever that is.
00:28:34.000 When the Lord knows that I've completed my mission.
00:28:41.000 And I'm not afraid.
00:28:42.000 Charlie wasn't afraid either.
00:28:43.000 We never lived in fear.
00:28:44.000 If we did, we wouldn't get anything done.
00:28:46.000 Amen.
00:28:49.000 This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of YReFi.
00:28:53.000 It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with Turning Point and for Charlie to endorse us.
00:28:59.000 His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Turning Point for years to come.

00:30:03.000 I'm reading some of them right now.
00:30:04.000 This is from Christopher.
00:30:04.000 Hello, Charlie Kirk Show.
00:30:06.000 I watched the interview last night.
00:30:08.000 Difficult for me to watch, very sad, but I watched it.
00:30:10.000 Erica is a strong and holy woman.
00:30:12.000 All of us fans and followers love and support her.
00:30:15.000 Thanks for all you guys do.
00:30:17.000 Come to Long Island when you can.
00:30:18.000 Okay, we will, I love Long Island, actually.
00:30:21.000 This is from Nancy.
00:30:22.000 May the dear Lord watch over Erica and the family.
00:30:25.000 My husband and I loved Charlie and loved listening to what he had to say.
00:30:30.000 I watched the interview last night.
00:30:31.000 Erica Kirk is a beautiful, brilliant woman and love her so much.
00:30:34.000 There are no words to express the sadness we have felt right along with her.
00:30:38.000 A big hug to her and the children.
00:30:39.000 Prayers for Erica's parents, Charlie's parents and sister.
00:30:43.000 And that was from Nancy.
00:30:45.000 God bless you.
00:30:46.000 Johnny says, can Staten Island secede from New York City?
00:30:51.000 That's a whole other history.
00:30:52.000 You know, it really should have been part of Jersey all the time, apparently.
00:30:55.000 Like, being part of New York State is kind of some territorial theft.
00:30:59.000 Like, if you look at it on a map, it clearly is like.
00:31:02.000 It sits right up against New Jersey, and it's pretty far from the rest of New York.
00:31:06.000 But I might start a giant war in New York with those comments.
00:31:10.000 Yeah, well, you might.
00:31:11.000 The online chatter is going to perk up.
00:31:13.000 All right, Kurt, you've got a new piece out in Town Hall that is, it's in perfect Kurt Schlichter fashion.
00:31:21.000 It says, Tuesday night sucked.
00:31:23.000 Now get over it.
00:31:24.000 Tell us what the takeaway should be from the debacle that was Tuesday night.
00:31:29.000 Well, the takeaway is don't go jump off a bridge, okay?
00:31:33.000 You have bad nights in elections.
00:31:36.000 All right.
00:31:37.000 I am old.
00:31:39.000 I remember the 1972 presidential election, which worked out pretty well for us.
00:31:43.000 McGovern was totally humiliated.
00:31:45.000 And I was in second grade.
00:31:47.000 And believe me, I lorded it over all the other kids in my class because I was in California and a liberal area and they were commies.
00:31:56.000 But there have been a lot of great nights.
00:32:00.000 1980 when Reagan won, 94 when we took back the House for the first time in what, 40 years.
00:32:07.000 2016, 2024, great nights.
00:32:10.000 And there are bad nights.
00:32:12.000 2012 was a bad night.
00:32:14.000 Okay.
00:32:14.000 2006, bad night.
00:32:17.000 Yesterday, or two days ago, bad night.
00:32:21.000 Okay.
00:32:22.000 We got creamed.
00:32:23.000 And there's no other way to put it.
00:32:27.000 But if I have to get creamed in an election, I'd rather it be the off-year election in a couple of blue states rather than a midterm or heaven forbid, a presidential.
00:32:41.000 Who was going to win?
00:32:42.000 Well, look, I predicted it.
00:32:44.000 The Democrat states are likely to elect Democrat governors.
00:32:48.000 Wow, I got it right.
00:32:50.000 Now, I don't want to minimize what happened because we did learn some stuff.
00:32:55.000 We learned that we're having trouble turning out some of the new members of the America First Coalition.
00:33:01.000 Hispanic numbers went down.
00:33:03.000 Young people went down.
00:33:05.000 Young women have just gone completely crazy.
00:33:08.000 They're all over all these communists.
00:33:11.000 But it doesn't mean just because you can get information out of a bad night, you know, that's the silver lining on the cloud.
00:33:25.000 Look, don't be happy about it.
00:33:27.000 We could have done a lot better.
00:33:29.000 And there are mistakes that we made.
00:33:32.000 But, and it's important.
00:33:35.000 We need to take the lessons that we've learned.
00:33:37.000 We have 363 days until the midterms.
00:33:40.000 Midterms are very important.
00:33:43.000 These Democrats have gone completely insane.
00:33:47.000 Well, actually, I don't think they're insane.
00:33:48.000 I think they're just flat out evil.
00:33:52.000 And who knows what they'll do to our country if they get any power?
00:33:55.000 They'll certainly stop Donald Trump from fixing the problems they created.
00:34:00.000 So we've got to get serious and we've got to go and we've got to fight and play to win next time.
00:34:08.000 I don't think we did that this time.
00:34:10.000 Yeah, I mean, you know, it's an interesting takeaway here.
00:34:12.000 I agree with you on the we lost a lot of the young females, young people in general, went the wrong direction.
00:34:19.000 But in places like New Jersey, what's interesting is that, you know, Chitterelli got 100 and I believe 120,000 more votes than he did in 2021.
00:34:27.000 It's just that Mikey Sherrill got, I think, 400,000 votes more than 2021.
00:34:33.000 And so than the Democrat candidate did.
00:34:36.000 So, you know, they are definitely, and we find ourselves, we talked about this last week.
00:34:40.000 We find ourselves at a bit of a nadir with President Trump's support.
00:34:45.000 And I think we need to take that advice and we need to take the learnings and the lessons, refocus our efforts on domestic pocketbook issues.
00:34:54.000 And really, you know, perception is reality, Kurt, that we have to show and tell the voting electorate that we're focusing on domestic issues.
00:35:03.000 What do you think?
00:35:04.000 31.
00:35:05.000 Events come up.
00:35:07.000 All right.
00:35:08.000 Hamas decided to invade Israel.
00:35:11.000 They had to be destroyed.
00:35:13.000 Iran was about to get nuclear weapons.
00:35:15.000 It had to be stopped.
00:35:17.000 There are drug runners bringing fentanyl up here and killing 100,000 Americans a year.
00:35:21.000 They have to be stopped.
00:35:22.000 But you're right.
00:35:23.000 We want to focus on domestic issues and we can.
00:35:27.000 The economy's getting better slowly but surely.
00:35:31.000 We're going to get rid of the guy at the Fed.
00:35:33.000 We're going to be able to lower interest rates.
00:35:35.000 People are going to be able to buy houses.
00:35:37.000 It's going to happen.
00:35:38.000 It happened last time with Trump.
00:35:40.000 I remember when I was young.
00:35:42.000 It happened with Ronald Reagan.
