00:01:33.000 We had an eventful weekend.
00:01:36.000 I was in California.
00:01:37.000 Then I went to Flashpoint Live.
00:01:39.000 What an event.
00:01:40.000 I went to Flashpoint Live yesterday, Gene Bailey, the amazing people at Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
00:01:45.000 I wasn't sure what really to expect.
00:01:46.000 They said it was going to be a big crowd.
00:01:48.000 4,000 plus people in Dallas on a Sunday evening.
00:01:51.000 It was extraordinary.
00:01:53.000 Lance Walnow was there.
00:01:54.000 Phenomenal pastors, wonderful music, patriotic elements throughout.
00:01:58.000 4,000 people on a Sunday evening.
00:02:02.000 And it was just, it was just something.
00:02:03.000 And I got to thinking yesterday that there's definitely something happening in our country that is not being detected in polling and being deciphered in the media.
00:02:12.000 And so I've been stewing this over the weekend of kind of where we want to go to start the show today.
00:02:17.000 I want to ask you a question: which is, do you feel confident going into the midterms?
00:02:21.000 Now, we warned a couple of weeks ago that we cannot be comfortable.
00:02:25.000 In fact, we must almost be paranoid.
00:02:27.000 In fact, I admitted I was paranoid about the Democrats and what they were going to try to do coming into the midterms.
00:02:34.000 We're going to talk about how I believe Republicans are messing up in inevitable victory.
00:02:39.000 The numbers are showing it in more ways than one.
00:02:42.000 Republicans haven't taken it easy.
00:02:44.000 In fact, it seems as if Republican voters, Republican activists, and Republican donors are believing that no matter what, we're going to win in November, and Democrats are getting to work.
00:02:54.000 Remember, we can never underestimate our enemy.
00:02:57.000 They're Machiavellian, they're deceitful, they're crafty, they're sneaky, they're well-funded.
00:03:03.000 And I'm afraid that we have underestimated our opposition, not you in particular, but many people have underestimated the serpents that is the Democrat Party or the serpents that consist of the Democrat Party.
00:03:17.000 What we are seeing is a narrowing of the gap while you were enjoying your summer.
00:03:22.000 And now that we are here in the month of August, it's August, isn't it?
00:03:25.000 Yes, August 1.
00:03:26.000 Now that we are here in the month of August, wake up call.
00:03:29.000 We are less than 100 days away from the midterm election.
00:03:33.000 I think it's just about precisely 100 days.
00:03:35.000 And guess what?
00:03:36.000 It's nearly a 50-50 chance that we take back the house.
00:03:41.000 The numbers are not good, everybody.
00:03:42.000 And you might say you don't believe the polls.
00:03:44.000 I don't either.
00:03:46.000 But it is important to notice the trend of the polls.
00:03:50.000 And it's not just polls.
00:03:51.000 It's small dollar donations.
00:03:53.000 It's activist energy.
00:03:55.000 It's the type of advertisements that I'm seeing Democrats run.
00:03:57.000 They're running better candidates.
00:03:59.000 And I want all of us to collectively pull the fire alarm and say that this is a wake-up call for our Republicans.
00:04:08.000 We very well could screw up the inevitable red wave and tsunami.
00:04:13.000 And I am so tired of people saying, Charlie, it's going to be a red wave no matter what.
00:04:17.000 Get to work.
00:04:18.000 Have you fixed our elections?
00:04:20.000 Do you know there's still going to be ballot harvesting?
00:04:22.000 They're going to try to declare a state of emergency around monkeypox so we can have vote in mail and voting because of gay orgies in San Francisco and New York.
00:04:31.000 We got to be honest about this.
00:04:33.000 There are five to 10 leading indicators that are very negative right now.
00:04:37.000 We have to analyze it.
00:04:38.000 It's fixable.
00:04:39.000 This is not a doom and gloom program.
00:04:41.000 But this program right now is going to be not what you want to hear, but what we need to hear to take back the country.
00:04:47.000 99 days.
00:04:49.000 We are 99 days away from the midterm elections.
00:04:52.000 And I am here today to warn you, to tell you not what you want to hear, but what you need to hear.
00:05:00.000 I have said many times on the Charlie Kirk Show podcast: we are not hopium dealers.
00:05:06.000 Hope and opium feels good, but it's awfully bad for you.
00:05:08.000 I'm going to tell you bluntly and plainly what is happening in real time.
00:05:12.000 What I'm going to tell you happening is that Republicans are messing up the inevitable red wave and tsunami with gas prices, inflation, open borders, CRT, war on kids, pedophilia widespread, vaccine mandates, the lying and this deceit of the unpopular president.
00:05:28.000 All of that is true.
00:05:29.000 But guess what?
00:05:30.000 Democrats are adjusting and Republicans are asleep.
00:05:35.000 Despite all of this, we right now are living through a moment where Republicans are already measuring the drapes of the Speaker's office.
00:05:44.000 They are trying to find out what offices they'll get if they take back the Senate.
00:05:48.000 There is work to be done, everybody, and the numbers are not good.
00:05:52.000 There is legitimate tightening in every single poll, including the ones that we trust, Trafalgar on down.
00:05:59.000 The Democrat candidates are getting on message.
00:06:01.000 They're introducing a piece of legislation that will do the opposite, what they say it will, but it sounds proper, the Reduce Inflation Act.
00:06:09.000 Of course, it's a joke and a mockery.
00:06:11.000 I don't expect all of you to fall for it, but many people will.
00:06:15.000 Democrats have more money than we do.
00:06:16.000 Democrats are raising more small dollar donations than we do.
00:06:19.000 Democrats are fielding phenomenal candidates.
00:06:21.000 Their activists are in the streets.
00:06:23.000 Their billionaires are deploying capital.
00:06:25.000 And what are Republicans doing?
00:06:27.000 Very little.
00:06:28.000 Now, that's not a slight at you.
00:06:30.000 I know a lot of you are knocking on doors and campaigning for good candidates.
00:06:33.000 However, generally, there is this malaise that is set over the Republican Party.
00:06:38.000 It's as if, oh, we're going to win no matter what.
00:06:40.000 We might as well just enjoy the summer.
00:06:43.000 Time to wake up, everybody.
00:06:44.000 99 days out.
00:06:45.000 I could tell you Republicans have 99 problems, and small dollar donations are definitely one.
00:06:52.000 Republicans confront unexpected online money, slow down.
00:06:56.000 New York Times writes.
00:06:58.000 In an otherwise favorable political climate, small dollar donations have dropped for Republicans, making the party more reliant on mega donors to compete.
00:07:06.000 The New York Times writes, by the way, I fact-checked this.
00:07:10.000 I texted some people in the online donation world.
00:07:12.000 They said this is all true.
00:07:14.000 Because I don't trust the New York Times.
00:07:16.000 I texted some people that actually are in the online donation world and they said, Charlie, this is totally right.
00:07:21.000 Donations are falling off a cliff.
00:07:22.000 Now, I'm going to tell you why I think that's happening, largely because of D.C. consultants that send the dumbest emails ever to grassroots people like yourself.
00:07:31.000 Triple match urgent.
00:07:34.000 My plane's going to fall out of the sky if you don't give $5 in the next 20 minutes.
00:07:39.000 New York Times writes, online fundraising has slowed across much of the Republican Party in recent months.
00:07:45.000 An unusual pullback of small dollar donors that has set off, quote, a mad rush among Republican political operatives to understand why.
00:07:53.000 Well, first of all, maybe Republican politicians shouldn't have been voting for gun control legislation, sending $56 billion to Ukraine.
00:08:02.000 Maybe Republican politicians shouldn't be voting for gay marriage.
00:08:07.000 And maybe your online donations would go a lot better.
00:08:11.000 But even more than that, consultants relentlessly send these emails.
00:08:14.000 I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:08:17.000 Do you get some of these emails from Donald Trump or from the NRSC?
00:08:21.000 I need $20 right now.
00:08:23.000 By the way, it's not from Trump.
00:08:24.000 It's from all the consultants around him.
00:08:26.000 And I just, I love Trump.
00:08:27.000 I defend Trump.
00:08:28.000 And I just think the people around him that are sending these emails are doing such a disservice to Donald Trump.
00:08:35.000 I mean, it is a joke.
00:08:37.000 It is a mockery.
00:08:38.000 I talk to grassroots people all the time.
00:08:39.000 They say, Charlie, why do I get all these emails?
00:08:42.000 I mean, I could show you my text messages here.
00:08:44.000 It is an absolute insult to our intelligence.
00:08:48.000 This is just over a couple days.
00:08:49.000 This is just text messages.
00:08:51.000 Trump rally alert.
00:08:52.000 Have you RSVP'd for Trump's rally in Wisconsin?
00:08:54.000 No, I live in Arizona, actually.
00:08:57.000 How about this one?
00:08:59.000 Don Jr., my father just called and asked about you, friend.
00:09:01.000 He's activated your seven times impact for five minutes.
00:09:04.000 By the way, I know Don, and I know that this stuff is not even being run by them.
00:09:09.000 President Trump will deliver marks at a major rally.
00:09:12.000 This next one.
00:09:13.000 These are like within five minutes.
00:09:14.000 They're sending them nonstop.
00:09:15.000 Offer attached from office of President Trump, Mar-a-Lago.
00:09:18.000 Okay, he's in Benminster right now.
00:09:21.000 This is your only chance to claim the end of month seven times impact.
00:09:25.000 Trump alert now.
00:09:26.000 President Trump needs your support.
00:09:28.000 Do you have his back 15 minutes left?
00:09:30.000 By the way, I've tried my best to try to tell the Trump team to stop sending these stupid emails, and no one listens to me.
00:09:34.000 So I'm going to have to do it on the show.
00:09:36.000 You are going to lose your supporters if you keep on sending out this unfiltered garbage.
00:09:41.000 How about this one?
00:09:42.000 Biden and Camilla are terrified that you'll click this link to save America.
00:09:45.000 People are not this dumb, okay?
00:09:47.000 They're like, whoa, we have to raise as much money as we can.
00:09:50.000 Then how about you treat your voters with respect?
00:09:52.000 And by the way, I don't blame Trump for this.
00:09:54.000 I don't blame Don Jr. for this.
00:09:55.000 I blame the consultants around him.
00:09:57.000 How about this one?
00:09:58.000 Action required, Team Trump.
00:09:59.000 We're updating our data.
00:10:00.000 This is all within like three days, by the way.
00:10:02.000 Updating our data.
00:10:03.000 I need you to fill out the official Trump voter verification canvas.
00:10:06.000 How about this one?
00:10:07.000 President Trump, the new Trump Force One plane is coming back this fall.
00:10:10.000 Do you want to see it, friend?
00:10:12.000 Submit response.
00:10:14.000 President Trump, I need you, friend.
00:10:15.000 We have a critical deadline coming.
00:10:17.000 700% impact for you only.
00:10:19.000 Donate now.
00:10:20.000 Or this one.
00:10:21.000 Again, this is all within three days.
00:10:23.000 Gift enclosed.
00:10:24.000 President Trump is sending you this six times impact.
00:10:26.000 It's yours for 15 minutes before it expires forever.
00:10:29.000 I want to say this again for everyone listening and media matters.
00:10:32.000 I am a 100% defender of Trump.
00:10:34.000 This does not make me question him at all.
00:10:35.000 What it does make me, though, angry that other people are not going to support President Trump because of this relentless barrage and blitzkrieg of emails that are so stupidly written designed basically to just dry up the reservoir.
00:10:49.000 You want to know why Republicans can't raise small dollar donors?
00:10:52.000 It's because consultants treat you like garbage.
00:10:54.000 I want your thoughts, by the way.
00:10:55.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:10:57.000 Do you get these ridiculous emails?
00:10:59.000 One after the other?
00:11:02.000 Continues, small dollar donations typically increase as an election nears, but just the, as an election nears.
00:11:08.000 But just the opposite has happened in recent months across a wide range of Republican entities, including every major party committee and former Donald Trump's political operation.
00:11:17.000 The total amount of donations fell 12% across all federal Republican campaigns and committees in the second quarter compared with the first quarter, according to an analysis of federal records from WinRED, the main online Republican donation processing portal.
00:11:30.000 The overall Democrat fundraising edge widened by $100 million from the last quarter of 2021 to the most recent three-month period record show.
00:11:38.000 So the counter argument is they'll say, well, Democrats send out emails like that.
00:11:41.000 I don't care, okay?
00:11:42.000 Democrats also believe in post-birth abortion and chemically castrating children.
00:11:46.000 I don't care if they do triple match email.
00:11:48.000 I need 20.
00:11:49.000 My favorite meme over the last weekend is: this is Speaker Pelosi.
00:11:52.000 My plane's about to be shot over the South China Sea.
00:11:55.000 If I don't receive 100 donors that give me $25, I'm going to be taken out of the sky.
00:12:00.000 The New York Times actually did a very good article here, believe it or not.
00:12:03.000 And I fact-checked it.
00:12:04.000 It's all accurate.
00:12:04.000 The current political climate favors Republicans as Biden's approval rating plumbs near new lows.
00:12:10.000 But nearly a dozen Republican strategists directly involved in fundraising or overseeing campaigns have expressed concerns about how the fundraising downturn might limit their party gains.
00:12:18.000 Yeah, because you guys have destroyed your small dollar base by sending out the dumbest texts and emails and taking your base for granted as if they're nothing more than an ATM money mill.
00:12:28.000 And look, we do fundraising at Turning Point USA.
00:12:30.000 We send out forcefully written stuff, not daily like this.
00:12:34.000 Are you kidding me?
00:12:35.000 And like 700% match.
00:12:36.000 What does that even mean?
00:12:37.000 A 700% match.
00:12:39.000 I read this stuff.
00:12:39.000 I say, triple, quadruple match offer.
00:12:42.000 Ridiculous.
00:12:44.000 Senator Rick Scott says, we've got to raise the money.
00:12:46.000 We get the money.
00:12:47.000 We win.
00:12:49.000 People don't want to give you money anymore.
00:12:50.000 They're also questioning where it all goes, by the way.
00:12:53.000 New York Times writes, quote, money alone does not win political races.
00:12:56.000 It's true.
00:12:56.000 And Republicans have grown accustomed to trailing Democrats and online fundraising.
00:13:00.000 Democrat donors, for instance, poured more than $200 million into losing Senate races in Kentucky and South Carolina last cycle, and neither contest ended up even close.
00:13:07.000 That's very accurate reporting.
00:13:09.000 Money is not everything, but it's one indicator.
00:13:11.000 It's a major indicator.
00:13:12.000 So we got to take an honest analysis.
00:13:15.000 We cannot rest on our laurels here, everybody.
00:13:18.000 There is a possibility we do not take back the House.
00:13:20.000 That is the first time I've said that since Biden took office.
00:13:23.000 The way we are trending right now, the cockiness, the arrogance, this could be a disaster in November.
00:13:29.000 Not to mention we didn't fix our elections.
00:13:31.000 I want your thoughts.
00:13:32.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:13:33.000 Do you think we're in a comfortable spot?
00:13:35.000 Do you trust Republicans to bring this home?
00:13:37.000 By the way, this is very fixable.
00:13:38.000 I want to be very clear.
00:13:39.000 Everything I have laid out is fixable.
00:13:41.000 99 days out.
00:13:42.000 Let's get into gear.
00:13:43.000 It's time to get to work.
00:13:47.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:13:48.000 The recent rulings from the Supreme Court didn't happen on their own.
00:13:51.000 It took support of companies like Patriot Mobile who passionately fought on behalf of the unborn and your constitutional rights.
00:13:58.000 Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative mobile phone provider and has been on the front lines fighting for your values.
00:14:04.000 Inflation has really made it hard on Americans.
00:14:07.000 Thankfully, Patriot Mobile has plans for almost any budget.
00:14:11.000 They offer the same nationwide coverage as all the major carriers.
00:14:15.000 You get the same service and your money is going to a company fighting for the sanctity of life, religious liberty, and the Second Amendment.
00:14:21.000 Go to patriotmobile.com/slash Charlie or call 972 Patriot.

00:14:48.000 Wow, we just received, I think, over a thousand emails in just a couple minutes.
00:14:54.000 One after the other, after the other, saying the same thing.
00:14:58.000 What if this is an intentional strategy by GOP consultants to take advantage of Trump voters to actually make it as if Trump doesn't have small dollar donors in 2024?
00:15:07.000 I mean, the email, the anger that I'm receiving from you, freedom at charliekirk.com, Teresa says, in all caps, I get all those you mentioned.
00:15:14.000 It's nonstop.
00:15:15.000 I actually just ignore them.
00:15:16.000 They've come for years.
00:15:17.000 My Gmail is just filled with them.
00:15:19.000 Make it stop, one after the other, after the other.
00:15:23.000 Do you know the Trump pack, which again, I don't blame Trump for this.
00:15:26.000 I blame the consultants around him.
00:15:28.000 They sent out 26 emails just yesterday on a Sunday.
00:15:33.000 Biden World sent out 17 the entire month of July.
00:15:36.000 And by the way, there's a tracker that allows us to do this.
00:15:40.000 There's a website called sendview.io that tracks all the emails that are sent out.
00:15:47.000 And you can only go to the well so often before people stop listening to you, before people don't take it seriously.
00:15:55.000 Vic said, Charlie, you're so correct on small dollar donations.
00:15:58.000 I'm, for one, tired of the sea of emails and text messages that are insulting to our intelligence.
00:16:03.000 I knew I wasn't alone in this.
00:16:05.000 I didn't realize how overwhelming it is.
00:16:07.000 Let's put up the chart, by the way.
00:16:09.000 So, get this: Democrats are sending out less emails and raising more money, and Republicans are sending out more emails and raising less money.
00:16:19.000 Another one, I mean, there's so many emails coming in.
00:16:22.000 Ruth said, Charlie, you're so right to raise this issue.
00:16:25.000 I'm so turned off by their rude, threatening emails.
00:16:28.000 Some send the pity story and forget to say what they're running for and for what.
00:16:31.000 I get up to five to seven emails every morning from Trump asking for donations.
00:16:36.000 I love Trump, and I'll give what I can.
00:16:39.000 There must be others now doing this.
00:16:42.000 Voters are apathetic, believing the red wave is assured.
00:16:44.000 We have trouble finding volunteers, so frustrating things must change.
00:16:47.000 I appreciate you ringing the alarm.
00:16:49.000 And it's look, we run a nonprofit at Turning Point USA.
00:16:52.000 We have 120,000 donors.
00:16:55.000 We understand that you have to raise money.
00:16:57.000 I'm not saying you shouldn't send out solicitations.
00:16:59.000 You shouldn't do that.
00:17:00.000 But 26 emails on a Sunday, I'm sure all of you agree.
00:17:04.000 You don't mind hearing from Donald Trump on a fundraising email, maybe once a week or something like that.
00:17:10.000 We're not saying that you have to do none of it, but the triple match urgent.
00:17:14.000 I mean, I could, let me try to see if I could actually find one of them.
00:17:19.000 I know I got one of these emails the other day.
00:17:22.000 Yeah, here's this one: Trump deadline alert.
00:17:25.000 Friend, today is the final day to reach our end of month goal.
00:17:27.000 Where have you been?
00:17:29.000 I mean, it's just like, where have I been?
00:17:31.000 I was with Donald Trump last week, actually, hosting an event at Turning Point Action with 5,000 young people with a straw poll that he won.
00:17:40.000 Where have I been?
00:17:40.000 Like, actually doing work.
00:17:42.000 And you know, a lot of other people that get these emails, why do you have to read that?
00:17:46.000 By the way, you know what's one of the first rules of fundraising that we have at Turning Point USA is you never raise money out of desperation, ever.
00:17:53.000 It's a bad look.
00:17:54.000 You never go to donors and say, I need money or else I can't survive.
00:17:57.000 That's the only way Republicans raise money.
00:18:00.000 And look, the Republican consultants, they come to me and they say, well, Charlie, you don't understand.
00:18:04.000 We need it.
00:18:05.000 We need to raise $100 million.
00:18:06.000 We can't compete.
00:18:07.000 I believe this and I will ride into the sunset in this way.
00:18:11.000 I believe that if the RNC and all these organizations said, listen, here's our fundraising goal.
00:18:16.000 We're not going to bother you if you help us reach it.
00:18:18.000 People would give money not to get the emails and text messages.
00:18:22.000 I would.
00:18:23.000 Put that chart back up.
00:18:24.000 Yeah, put one of these up, please.
00:18:26.000 They sent out 26 of them.
00:18:28.000 That's the chart.
00:18:29.000 Just on Sunday, 26 emails.
00:18:33.000 Gail says, Charlie, your assessment of the upcoming midterms is spot on.
00:18:37.000 I get four texts per day.
00:18:38.000 I don't even open the emails.
00:18:40.000 Most of the texts are from WinRed.
00:18:42.000 I avoid donating to anything from there.
00:18:44.000 I'm told Win Red doesn't actually send out the emails.
00:18:46.000 They're just the payment processor.
00:18:48.000 I'm near Buffalo, New York, but donate to candidates such as Joe Kenton, Washington and Gibson, Michigan.
00:18:52.000 That's true.
00:18:53.000 She says, please make it stop.
00:18:56.000 Here's a good lesson for the Republican Party.
00:18:59.000 If your base of which watches this show right now is asking you to make it stop, you're probably doing something wrong.
00:19:08.000 It's not exactly a winning equation when people say, make it stop.
00:19:13.000 And you know what it is?
00:19:14.000 It's short-term consultants that do not believe in delayed gratification, that have never built a successful movement, that are pounding and abusing the Trump movement and the MAGA movement.
00:19:26.000 Right here, Cynthia says, all caps, make it stop.
00:19:30.000 I can't take it anymore.
00:19:31.000 I love Trump.
00:19:32.000 Why does this continue?
00:19:33.000 These are his people.
00:19:35.000 This makes me question my support.
00:19:37.000 And that is my issue: people are no longer wanting to support Trump because of the relentless emails and the relentless text messages.
00:19:45.000 And by the way, where does all this money go?
00:19:48.000 That's another question.
00:19:49.000 But okay, we're going to dive deeper into this.
00:19:51.000 I didn't mean to go on such a tangent on just the small dollar donation thing.
00:19:54.000 Republicans are messing it up.
00:19:56.000 They're abusing their voters and their donors.
00:19:58.000 We better wake up or else we are going to lose in November a very winnable political season.
00:20:06.000 Hey, everybody, this common sense is brought to you by the folks at secondvote.com, amazing people who are fighting back against woke corporations.
00:20:14.000 Subscribe now at secondvote.com, promo code Charlie.
00:20:18.000 Good afternoon.
00:20:18.000 I'm Rebecca Hatfield, president of Second Vote.
00:20:21.000 We've had uniquely American common sense since 1776, but now we're in the age of common nonsense.
00:20:27.000 Today's common nonsense comes from the left's radical agenda.
00:20:31.000 Inflation has reached a 40-year high, and we're headed into a recession.
00:20:35.000 If you have common sense, the causes are obvious.
00:20:38.000 Extreme environmental policies, massive government spending, and woke fund managers.
00:20:43.000 The left has spent years trying to kill domestic fuel production and now energy prices are skyrocketing.
00:20:48.000 But instead of talking to American energy companies, Joe Biden is in Saudi Arabia begging Middle Eastern dictators to increase supply.
00:20:57.000 When the far left and woke corporations push extremist environmental policies, they have serious consequences.
00:21:04.000 According to research from the Heritage Foundation, American families have lost $6,800 per year due to inflation, and we'll all feel that.
00:21:14.000 When government gets bigger, our paycheck gets smaller.
00:21:17.000 And inflation is the inevitable result of massive government spending.
00:21:21.000 But inflation doesn't just affect the dollars you spend.
00:21:24.000 It also affects the dollars you invest by destroying the purchasing power of your dollar.
00:21:28.000 The Wall Street Journal recently exposed how so-called ESG funds cost between 5 and 15 times as much as other funds, but perform worse.
00:21:39.000 This is why secondvote.com scores hundreds of companies on whether they support the leftist extreme environmental agenda.
00:21:46.000 For 10 years, Second Vote has been looking out for conservative consumers helping you to shop your values.
00:21:51.000 I'm Rebecca Hatfield reminding you that your first vote is at the ballot box, but your second vote is with your wallet.
00:21:57.000 Make sure you go to secondvote.com and subscribe now using promo code Charlie for just $40 for a whole year.
00:22:03.000 That's secondvote.com, promo code Charlie.
00:22:08.000 One of our listeners emailed us, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:22:10.000 Charlie, I get 20 to 30 texts a day.
00:22:13.000 I was a maximum donor before.
00:22:14.000 I haven't donated a cent since this crap started.
00:22:17.000 So you go from a max donor, federal limit, which I think is $5,400, something like that, $5,400 to zero because of this strategy.
00:22:24.000 So to answer the question that the New York Times, and I hate to say it, this is a very fair article.
00:22:30.000 It's really not written that partisan in a partisan fashion.
00:22:34.000 I mean, it's obviously written to make Republicans look bad, of which I fully support actually, because the Republican establishment is robbing grassroots voters and grassroots activists like you of money.
00:22:44.000 And then they keep on sending you emails, One after the other after the other.
00:22:50.000 Randy said, I spent Sunday trying to put stop in the phone text.
00:22:54.000 It's been full.
00:22:55.000 Where does all the money go is my concern.
00:22:57.000 I will continue to contribute directly to campaigns and organizations.
00:23:00.000 Yes, that's exactly right.
00:23:01.000 Donate to Blake Masters.
00:23:03.000 Donate to JD Vance, their official website.
00:23:05.000 You know where that money goes.
00:23:07.000 To these committees, it is a mystery.
00:23:09.000 Okay, so we're going to keep on talking about the small dollar donor problem.
00:23:13.000 And I keep on, I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:23:15.000 But let's broaden this a little bit about the midterm issue.
00:23:20.000 And so Republicans are messing up the inevitable.
00:23:23.000 Democrats are adjusting.
00:23:26.000 We've been asking the question of the last couple months, why are Democrats not adjusting?
00:23:34.000 Why are Democrats not improving their messaging?
00:23:37.000 Well, they're starting to.
00:23:38.000 Case in point, let's go to cut 12.
00:23:41.000 Mark Kelly, by the way, has tons of money.
00:23:43.000 He's sitting on piles of cash.
00:23:45.000 Cut 12 is Mark Kelly running for Senate in Arizona.
00:23:50.000 Look at how clever this advertisement is.
00:23:53.000 I believe Blake Masters is going to be the nominee against Mark Kelly.
00:23:56.000 Mark Kelly is an astronaut, plays and masquerades as a moderate play cut 12.
00:24:02.000 Tough choices, like how to fill the gas tank and the grocery cart.
00:24:06.000 And things people count on can be hard to find.
00:24:09.000 We can't afford to wait this out.
00:24:11.000 So I'm pushing for solutions today, even if it means taking on my own party.
00:24:15.000 Like bringing down gas prices by allowing more domestic oil production, temporarily ending the gas tax, and cutting red tape to restock shells faster.
00:24:25.000 I'm Mark Kelly, and I approve this message because I'll do whatever it takes to lower costs now.
00:24:30.000 I'll take on my own party.
00:24:32.000 They even have a Fox News logo up on there citing one of the things he talked about.
00:24:36.000 They're adjusting.
00:24:37.000 They're running very clever advertisements here in Arizona.
00:24:41.000 By the way, if you watch local TV, of which I don't watch, but when I work out, local TV is on the television, he has four Mark Kelly ads in a row.
00:24:49.000 They're literally stacking it where it's one after the other, after the other, after the other.
00:24:53.000 And he says, I'll take on my own party.
00:24:55.000 Democrats are adjusting.
00:24:57.000 Mark Kelly is a good candidate.
00:24:59.000 And by the way, for those of you that say, well, we're going to take back the Senate, how are you going to take back the Senate if you're going to lose in Pennsylvania, Oz is down double digits.
00:25:07.000 If you're going to lose in Georgia, Herschel Walker is down significantly.
00:25:10.000 And let's see about Arizona.
00:25:11.000 We don't know yet, but it looks like probably Mark Kelly is up a couple points on Blake Masters.
00:25:16.000 Out of Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Blake Masters is the best candidate.
00:25:23.000 Wisconsin is still a toss-up.
00:25:24.000 I think Ron Johnson is going to win.
00:25:27.000 By the way, Ron Johnson is welcome to email me incessantly, by the way, because he stood up against the vaccine nonsense.
00:25:34.000 So what is the Republican message as we head into November?
00:25:38.000 And if you want to see kind of the attitude of the Republican establishment, I'll play you a tape that shows it.
00:25:45.000 Maria Bartaromo in First Cut 13 asks Senator Barrasso from Wyoming, hey, what do you think about this midterm poll?
00:25:56.000 By the way, every midterm poll is shortening and shortening.
00:25:59.000 What looked like it was going to be an inevitable red wave, Democrats have done their work.
00:26:02.000 They're motivating their base.
00:26:04.000 They're registering voters.
00:26:05.000 They're raising money.
00:26:06.000 They're expanding their activist pool.
00:26:09.000 And Republicans are doing what?
00:26:11.000 Well, first, let's play cut 13 of Senator Barrasso on Maria Bartaromo's show, play cut 13.
00:26:17.000 Well, Senator, I guess what I'm asking you is, shouldn't the Republicans be doing better at this point?
00:26:22.000 And look at the congressional generic ballot and the congressional vote preference that we have here.
00:26:28.000 Democrat, 41%, Republican, 44%.
00:26:32.000 Shouldn't the gap be wider?
00:26:33.000 Shouldn't Republicans be winning?
00:26:35.000 Well, I'm very optimistic about the elections in November.
00:26:38.000 It's still 100 days away.
00:26:40.000 Maria, this is going to be a rejection election.
00:26:43.000 The American people are going to reject the Democrats and Joe Biden because of the things that you just mentioned.
00:26:49.000 Crushing inflation, chaos at the border, crime in the cities.
00:26:53.000 Rejection election.
00:26:55.000 Do you think that's going to be enough?
00:26:57.000 Do you think the message of the Republicans being a rejection election is adequate to be able to win back the House of Representatives and the Senate?
00:27:04.000 The polls are showing us no.
00:27:07.000 It shows that we're actually getting within the margin of error.
00:27:11.000 In fact, on certain polls, this is a short clip.
00:27:14.000 Cut two, Maria Bartaromo shows Democrats now have a four-point lead on a general congressional ballot.
00:27:21.000 And look, I know some of these polls can be wrong, but the fact they're tightening is cause for concern.
00:27:26.000 They could be off by a couple points, but the trend is what you should always look at.
00:27:30.000 Trends matter.
00:27:32.000 Play cut two.
00:27:33.000 USA Today Suffolk University poll released on Thursday has Democrats with a 4% lead on a generic congressional ballot.
00:27:41.000 So Democrats now 4% lead in that poll.
00:27:44.000 Other ones show Republicans with a couple point lead.
00:27:47.000 But regardless, is that every single one of the polls, regardless of the polling agency you trust or you don't trust, it's tightening.
00:27:53.000 Why?
00:27:54.000 Republicans don't have a message.
00:27:57.000 Senator Barasso says, well, it's going to be a rejection election.
00:27:59.000 What does that even mean?
00:28:01.000 People want to go vote for something.
00:28:02.000 Sure, we can reject the Democrats.
00:28:04.000 What is the message of the Republican Party?
00:28:07.000 Do you feel confident Republicans are running on something substantial?
00:28:13.000 Senator Barrasso was asked to clarify that.
00:28:15.000 Play cut 14.
00:28:17.000 We need to get back to the job of building the economy, not building the government, which is what the Democrats want to do.
00:28:24.000 We take over the Senate.
00:28:25.000 I'll be chairman of the Energy Committee and we will...
00:28:28.000 Go ahead.
00:28:29.000 No, you can.
00:28:29.000 Go ahead.
00:28:30.000 We take over the Senate.
00:28:31.000 I'll be chairman of the Energy Committee.
00:28:33.000 I'll be chairman of the Energy Committee and we will put on Joe Biden's desk bills that will actually bring down the cost of energy by drilling and getting the permits to do the infrastructure.
00:28:43.000 We'll hold this administration accountable.
00:28:46.000 Is that compelling you?
00:28:47.000 Maybe it is.
00:28:48.000 I'll be honest, Mark Kelly's ad seemed a lot more persuasive than that.
00:28:51.000 Mark Kelly's ad seemed well tailored.
00:28:54.000 Of course, that's a difference between a television interview and a political advertisement.
00:29:00.000 Remember back in June when John Cornyn said to Democrats on the Senate floor, first guns, now immigration?
00:29:06.000 Remember Tom Tillis going through Spanish wine country with Dick Durbin saying that maybe we can get amnesty done?
00:29:13.000 What is the Republican message exactly?
00:29:15.000 Well, every single midterm poll is now showing a legitimate tightening, and there is a potential reason for this.
00:29:25.000 Some people believe that the Republican establishment does not want a big win, that they just want enough seats to win a majority and committee chairmanships.
00:29:33.000 But they do not want a bunch of MAGA coming in to Congress because it's going to be a big headache for establishment rhinos.
00:29:40.000 They'd love to be able to win the Senate 5149 and not have Blake Masters or JD Vance win because they might be too disagreeable when they go to Washington, D.C. Cut one, Kevin McCarthy downplaying the poll showing the Republicans in trouble in November, blaming the Democrats for everything going on, but the polls are showing different.
00:30:00.000 Play cut one.
00:30:01.000 What the Democrats have done by creating inflation, the pain, just the points that you put up there.
00:30:07.000 But put it in perspective.
00:30:09.000 If a person is paid on a salary, they have just lost an entire month of work for free because of the Biden administration.
00:30:17.000 The border, that's a national security crisis, and they've done nothing but make it worse.
00:30:22.000 Then when you look at the crime within our streets, you look what happened to Lee Zeldon, that's a direct effect of what the Democratic policies are.
00:30:30.000 There is going to be an opportunity in 107 days to change the course of history, a new direction, as we say, in a commitment to America.
00:30:38.000 What is the Republican message?
00:30:39.000 I feel it's lacking.
00:30:41.000 And the numbers show that.
00:30:42.000 It shows that Republicans are failing miserably with some key demographics.
00:30:49.000 Now, a good wrinkle to this, and what might be the salvation for Republicans very well might be Hispanic voters.
00:30:56.000 Republicans are losing women by 10 points and losing voters under 30, 66% to 24%.
00:31:03.000 If Republicans ever want to win younger voters, they can call us, of which it seems they're very uninterested in doing so.
00:31:10.000 Republicans care more about their crony donors or punishing you, the grassroots donors, than actually clarifying their message.
00:31:20.000 Cut 16, RNC chairwoman Rana McDaniel shoots down the idea of winning 30 to 50 seats, saying that's not fair.
00:31:28.000 I'm not really sure what to make of this clip.
00:31:29.000 Play cut 16.
00:31:31.000 And the Driple C is wasting their money meddling in our primaries, right?
00:31:35.000 You're going to win 40, 50, 60 seats in November?
00:31:39.000 No, that's not fair.
00:31:40.000 We're going to take back the house.
00:31:42.000 That's four to retire Nancy Pelosi wanted to take back the Senate.
00:31:45.000 That's my fault.
00:31:46.000 It's not fair.
00:31:47.000 No, I don't.
00:31:49.000 I can't do that.
00:31:50.000 I think she meant, I know, Rana, I think what she was saying is that the question is not fair.
00:31:55.000 I don't know.
00:31:56.000 I'm not sure what to make of that.
00:31:57.000 Doesn't exactly instill confidence, though.
00:32:00.000 I want your thoughts.
00:32:01.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:32:03.000 Dear Charlie, you're so right.
00:32:04.000 After the events of 2020, I started paying attention to politics, but the email and text message are getting aggressively aggravating.
00:32:10.000 My husband and I disagree on how the midterms are going.
00:32:12.000 He thinks everyone is just going to vote red.
00:32:13.000 I keep warning him that there's some people who will believe all the lies and manipulation of the left.
00:32:18.000 I'm telling you, the way that Republicans are acting right now, I'll never forget it.
00:32:23.000 This was one of my, my wife was there with me.
00:32:25.000 I'll never forget.
00:32:26.000 We were, this was during all the COVID nonsense.
00:32:28.000 It was election night in Washington, D.C.
00:32:32.000 I wish I filmed this.
00:32:33.000 And she'll attest to all of this.
00:32:35.000 We were leaving the Trump Hotel on a bus to go to the White House because of all the security problems to go to the White House on election night.
00:32:41.000 And the people in the bus were getting so drunk and they were like, Trump's going to win another term.
00:32:48.000 I was like, guys, sit down.
00:32:50.000 This is not going to happen.
00:32:51.000 Like, I'm looking at the numbers.
00:32:52.000 This is not good.
00:32:53.000 Georgia does not look good.
00:32:54.000 And I'll never forget one consultant turned around and said, boy, I've been doing this for 30 years.
00:32:59.000 If we lose Georgia, I'm retiring.
00:33:01.000 Guess what?
00:33:02.000 He hasn't retired.
00:33:03.000 The amount of idiots that are in the Republican Party is unbelievable to me.
00:33:09.000 And the arrogance, the cockiness, the sloth, the drunkenness.
00:33:13.000 And they were like partying, like, we're going to win another term.
00:33:16.000 Like, guys, no, look at the returns, actually.
00:33:20.000 It's like, Arizona's not good right now.
00:33:22.000 Like, not at all.
00:33:24.000 They said, oh, no, Arizona looks wonderful.
00:33:27.000 Guys, I live in Arizona.
00:33:28.000 It's not good.
00:33:29.000 No, stop it.
00:33:30.000 We have to take back the party, everybody.
00:33:32.000 And it starts with you.
00:33:34.000 And it starts with rejecting all these ridiculous.
00:33:37.000 This one right here, Linda.
00:33:38.000 God bless Linda.
00:33:39.000 Charlie, I get at least 30 emails and texts begging for money per day.
00:33:43.000 This has been occurring for close to a year.
00:33:44.000 It's very irritating.
00:33:46.000 I ignore them, but they never quit.
00:33:48.000 You are destroying your base, Republicans, and I don't think you care.
00:33:54.000 I don't think you care.
00:33:56.000 I don't think the Republican establishment cares.
00:34:00.000 The deluge of emails, the deluge of the nonstop injection of capital.
00:34:12.000 You mix that kind of cockiness with the abuse of your voters and small dollar donors.
00:34:17.000 Republicans, you are creating an equation for midterm misery.
00:34:22.000 What is the action plan?
00:34:23.000 Okay, we got to get to work, everybody.
00:34:25.000 If you are not yet a precinct committee person, you have to become a precinct committee person.
00:34:30.000 We have a website where you could do that, tpaction.com, turning point action, our political arm where Turning Point USA is all educational.
00:34:36.000 Turning point action is allowed to be social welfare and some political, tpaction.com.
00:34:41.000 Number two, if you still want to give money, of which I encourage you, go find exact candidates and go to their websites and donate to them directly.
00:34:51.000 For example, Blake Masters in Arizona is going to need your help.
00:34:55.000 Don't go donate to all the other organizations asking for it.
00:34:58.000 Go to Blake Masters' website, blakemasters.com.
00:35:01.000 I'm just using that as an example.
00:35:02.000 It's blakemasters.com, and then you could donate there, or whomever candidate you like, whatever type of, you know, whatever floats your boat.
00:35:09.000 If it's JD Vance, if it's Ana Paulina Luna, it's Anthony Sabatini.
00:35:13.000 Number three, you need to be relentless in your criticism of the Republican establishment when you see them and you communicate with them.
00:35:22.000 Tell them, I'm so sick of getting these emails.
00:35:24.000 Stop sending money to Ukraine.
00:35:26.000 They listen to you if you keep the pressure on.
00:35:28.000 I'm not just talking about the congressional switchboard.
00:35:31.000 I'm talking about, above all, peaceful, respectful, yet firm pressure strategy on Republican politicians.
00:35:38.000 And then finally, we have to get to work.
00:35:41.000 Right now, from now to the election, we have a moment of opportunity where we have to go knock on doors.
00:35:47.000 Doors win wars, everybody.
00:35:49.000 We have to show up at the proper GO TV events.
00:35:52.000 We have to own our precincts.
00:35:54.000 It has to be a grassroots movement because guess what?
00:35:57.000 The Republican establishment is not going to be involved in a lot of these races.
00:36:02.000 I'm afraid they're going to turn their back on Blake.
00:36:04.000 I'm afraid they're going to leave JD Vance out to dry.
00:36:06.000 I'm afraid some of these amazing grassroots candidates like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, they're going to have to figure out their own way of doing things.
00:36:16.000 So look, here's the thing.
00:36:17.000 Someone emailed us.
00:36:18.000 William said, you better end on a truly uplifting note.
00:36:21.000 Yes, this is all fixable.
00:36:23.000 Here's how it's fixable.
00:36:24.000 Stop giving money to the Republican establishment organizations.
00:36:27.000 Okay, unsubscribe, say stop to end, whatever.
00:36:31.000 Guess what?
00:36:32.000 It's not over.
00:36:33.000 This is not November 9th.
00:36:35.000 This is August 1st.
00:36:35.000 Here's the good news.
00:36:37.000 So here's what my role is.
00:36:39.000 My role is to try to tell you, I'm in touch with the grassroots.
00:36:41.000 I'm in touch with donors.
00:36:43.000 I'm in touch with candidates.
00:36:44.000 I don't like what I'm seeing.
00:36:45.000 Let's fix it.
00:36:46.000 We've got to blast out this program.
00:36:48.000 Subscribe to the podcast.
00:36:49.000 Send it to everyone you know.
00:36:50.000 Say, hey, consider this your wake-up call.
00:36:52.000 That will be the head of this episode.
00:36:54.000 This is your wake-up call.
00:36:55.000 Subscribe to the Charlie Kirk Show podcast.
00:36:57.000 Here's the thing.
00:36:58.000 All of this can be adjusted within weeks or even less.
00:37:01.000 We need a tone change.
00:37:02.000 We need Republicans to run on real solutions.
00:37:04.000 I know Rick Scott put something forward there.
00:37:07.000 It's fine, but this can't just be a rejection election.
00:37:11.000 If you want a rejection election, we're barely going to win.
00:37:14.000 People need to go vote for things.
00:37:15.000 Democrats are fired up and well-financed, but we can and we will beat them.
00:37:19.000 The Hispanics coming in our direction, CBS News poll shows Hispanics tied 50-50, basically.
00:37:24.000 50%, 50%.
00:37:25.000 We are tied with Hispanics.
00:37:28.000 It's amazing.
00:37:29.000 So with all this other stuff going on, yes, we're losing upper-middle-class, college-educated suburban women.
00:37:34.000 We're winning with Hispanics.
00:37:36.000 There's so many positive things happening here, but we have to hold our Republican establishment accountable.
00:37:41.000 Stop giving them money.
00:37:42.000 Stop allowing them to keep on robbing you when candidates actually need those resources, especially with their ridiculous email solicitation campaigns.
00:37:50.000 And let's get to the heart of the matter.
00:37:52.000 Let's get to the heart of what really happens.
00:37:53.000 We're going to become precinct committeemen.
00:37:56.000 We're going to put the pressure on.
00:37:57.000 We're going to fast and pray for our nation.
00:37:59.000 Those of us that are Christians, it's very important.
00:38:01.000 And finally, we are going to be active, active, active.
00:38:04.000 Every day from now to the midterm election, the next 99 days need to be a day of action.
00:38:08.000 Every day you need to do something that is involved in moving the dial in the right direction.
00:38:17.000 Thank you so much for listening, everybody.
