00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show from the Bitcoin Mobile Studio.
00:00:04.000 Andrew Colvett in for the one and only Charlie Kirk who's traveling in the United Kingdom.
00:00:08.000 We talk about the one big, beautiful bill, what's in it, what's good, what's bad, what needs to be corrected, and how can we get to the finish line.
00:00:18.000 Also, we have Bordersar, Tom Homan, who says why he loves the bill, why he needs the bill.
00:00:24.000 More internal enforcement, more border security, more tech.
00:00:28.000 That part is key.
00:00:30.000 If President Trump was elected for any reason, it was because of immigration.
00:00:33.000 He was elected for a lot of reasons, but that issue is key.
00:00:36.000 And we have Borders Art, Tom Homan himself, coming on to explain why he needs this bill to get his job done.
00:00:41.000 Let's dive into it.
00:00:42.000 Buckle up.
00:00:43.000 Here we go.
00:00:44.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:46.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:48.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:51.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:54.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:56.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:57.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:05.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:14.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:42.000 All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:01:45.000 Andrew Colvitt in for the one and only Charlie Kirk, who is traveling the globe.
00:01:48.000 He's in the United Kingdom today.
00:01:51.000 Lots of fun stuff.
00:01:52.000 He just debated at Cambridge yesterday.
00:01:54.000 It was legitimately about 400 students to one.
00:01:58.000 Very raucous crowd.
00:02:00.000 I'm excited to hear his feedback on that.
00:02:02.000 Today he's going to be at Oxford.
00:02:04.000 So say a prayer that the truth would get out and that conservative values would continue spreading across the globe.
00:02:09.000 The revival that we see in the United States would happen abroad.
00:02:12.000 But I do not want to waste any time.
00:02:14.000 We have a very special guest, Borders Art Tom Homan, joining the show.
00:02:20.000 Mr. Borders, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:02:23.000 Hey, thanks for having me.
00:02:25.000 So, I want to jump right in.
00:02:27.000 This one big, beautiful bill, one of the main priorities is securing the border, but mass deportations as well.
00:02:35.000 Tell us what's in the bill that you love, that you're excited about, that your border agents need, that border security needs.
00:02:42.000 Well, look, it's going to add more border agents, Border Patrol agents to the border, along with the...
00:02:52.000 I mean, not only finish the wall,
00:03:11.000 you know, several hundred miles of the wall, but it's going to also run several hundred miles of...
00:03:16.000 Water buoys.
00:03:17.000 Buoys placed in the river that are actually very, very effective.
00:03:20.000 And it's going to save lives because once a lot of illegal aliens see that buoy that you can't get over, you can't get under, they won't risk getting in the river and drowning.
00:03:29.000 It's going to save a lot of lives.
00:03:30.000 But the technology, even the existing wall, the new wall that President Trump built under 45, Joe Biden came in and not only ended building more wall, but ended the technology that went into the existing wall.
00:03:42.000 That allows agents to have, you know, if you touch the wall, we know.
00:03:47.000 If you dig under the wall, we know.
00:03:48.000 If you climb the wall, we know.
00:03:49.000 Because there's all sorts of technology in that wall.
00:03:51.000 But most importantly, within that technology, you give Border Patrol agents ability to talk to one another in dead areas.
00:03:57.000 There's a lot of areas on the border where...
00:03:59.000 There is no radio tower.
00:04:01.000 There is no capability of a repeater system.
00:04:03.000 So if an agent's got to have an emergency, talk to another agent for backup, there are some dead areas on the border.
00:04:08.000 That's going to improve communications all across the border.
00:04:11.000 So they're going to fund that in the border so we can finish what we started.
00:04:14.000 The border's more secure in their lifetime.
00:04:16.000 We've got to finish the job.
00:04:18.000 This could be the first administration ever to have total operational control.
00:04:24.000 We need to finish it.
00:04:25.000 We need money to do that.
00:04:26.000 As far as interior operations, it funds more ICE agents.
00:04:29.000 It's going to fund more detention beds, which we really seriously need.
00:04:33.000 Right now, we've got about $50,000 in detention.
00:04:35.000 We need 100,000 beds to even put a dent in what we're trying to do here.
00:04:39.000 So it's going to let us find beds, because every person we arrest, we've got to bed them before we get travel documents and send them home.
00:04:45.000 So it's going to buy us more beds.
00:04:47.000 It's going to buy us more vehicles.
00:04:50.000 Increase ICE by 10,000, which we need.
00:04:52.000 Right now, there's 6,000 ERO officers compared to 20 million illegal aliens.
00:04:57.000 So we got a big hill to climb, so it's going to add more agents.
00:05:00.000 It's going to add more money for more beds.
00:05:03.000 It's going to add money for more transport, both over-the-ground bus transport in the interior, plus international flights.
00:05:09.000 It's going to add money to that.
00:05:10.000 It's also going to allow us to build out more contract work.
00:05:14.000 So rather than a badge and gun with Title 8 authority, immigration authority, sitting doing an administrative job, let's get a contractor to do that job and put that badge and gun on the street.
00:05:22.000 So allow us for all these things so we can continue doing what we're doing, increase the interior enforcement risks as the American people have mandated President Trump to do.
00:05:30.000 It's going to let us finish the job we started.
00:05:32.000 We're doing great, but we need more money.
00:05:34.000 The more money we have, the more good stuff we can do.
00:05:37.000 Yeah, and Mr. Homan, you have come on this show before and you asked for about $150 to $175 billion.
00:05:45.000 I've heard you use both numbers in passing.
00:05:48.000 So this, it allocates $150 billion via defense spending, but then another $70 billion for border security funding.
00:05:57.000 Is it enough?
00:06:01.000 I'd like to see more, but right now we're hurting for every dollar.
00:06:06.000 That we can get.
00:06:07.000 Right now, this morning I woke up and looked at empty beds.
00:06:10.000 We've got about 2,800 empty beds right now.
00:06:13.000 We'll fill them in three days.
00:06:15.000 So we need money quickly to buy more beds or everything stops.
00:06:21.000 I'll take whatever we can get, because every dollar we got means we can do more work.
00:06:26.000 I'd like to see, like you said earlier, $150 billion just on border and interior enforcement.
00:06:31.000 But we'll see when the final number comes out.
00:06:34.000 But we desperately need the money right now.
00:06:36.000 I think ICE is in the hole.
00:06:38.000 You know, half a billion dollars.
00:06:40.000 I think they're in the hole almost 500 million dollars because we got over 52,000 in detention.
00:06:46.000 We're funded at 34. So we're already in the hole.
00:06:49.000 So a lot of this money is going to be, you know, getting ice out of the hole plus adding beds to get above the line.
00:06:54.000 So we desperately need money.
00:06:56.000 So I hope the final number is bigger than that, but I'll take what we can get.
00:07:03.000 Mr. Homan, you've come on this show before in the past as well, and you've said, hey, listen, we're doing the first worst.
00:07:11.000 The worst are getting out first, but we've got to do more.
00:07:15.000 And I believe I've heard numbers around 100,000, 150,000 that have been deported so far.
00:07:22.000 I've seen that you've been frustrated that you couldn't get that higher faster, but again, this resource crunch that you're experiencing at ICE and DHS, will this deliver?
00:07:32.000 Let's say half a million to a million deportations a year.
00:07:36.000 Is that a number that's realistic if this budget gets passed?
00:07:40.000 Well, half a million is absolutely realistic.
00:07:42.000 We're shooting for a million, but a half a million is realistic.
00:07:46.000 And look, the sanctuary cities, they put...
00:07:49.000 Speed bumps in on us.
00:07:51.000 Yes.
00:07:51.000 Because, you know, red in the wrestling, bad guy in the county jail.
00:07:53.000 Now we've got to go to the community and find him.
00:07:55.000 Somebody that doesn't want to be found.
00:07:56.000 That slows us down.
00:07:57.000 We've got district court judges issuing nationwide injunctions against our enforcement officers.
00:08:02.000 That slows us down.
00:08:03.000 But again, it's all about manpower.
00:08:05.000 It's all about more money for manpower, more marketable targeting.
00:08:08.000 Look, there's a lot of smart companies out there, a lot of smart businesses out there with the most recent technology to help us find those people that don't want to be found.
00:08:18.000 So bring some of these contracts up, help improve targeting.
00:08:22.000 But the most important thing is resources, beds, planes, buses, and boots on the ground.
00:08:29.000 And this bill will get us there.
00:08:31.000 It'll get us the resources we need.
00:08:32.000 I'm looking to do three times more than we're currently doing.
00:08:35.000 So the numbers are harder than the Biden's numbers.
00:08:38.000 I should be happy with that, but I'm not.
00:08:40.000 I'm not satisfied.
00:08:42.000 We love that about you, Tom.
00:08:44.000 We love that about you, that you are never going to be satisfied until every person who broke the law to get into this country is held accountable, put to the back of the line, gone through the legal process.
00:08:54.000 Now, I want to bring this up.
00:08:57.000 I've debated whether or not to, because I think it's ridiculous, but this Rep.
00:09:02.000 LaMonica McIver.
00:09:04.000 She was just charged yesterday.
00:09:06.000 Alina Habba, acting U.S. attorney in the Newark area, charged her.
00:09:12.000 President Trump says, give me a break.
00:09:14.000 Did you see her?
00:09:14.000 She was out of control.
00:09:16.000 What's your message to representatives like LaMonica, McIver, that are actively assaulting ICE agents and the people that work under you?
00:09:28.000 The same message I've used since January 20th with sanctuary jurisdictions and politicians.
00:09:34.000 I've been saying a thousand times, you cannot support ICE.
00:09:37.000 Shame on you.
00:09:38.000 You can support sanctuary cities.
00:09:40.000 Shame on you.
00:09:42.000 Sanctuary cities, you can step back and watch us do your job, make your community safer, and not assist us with criminals, public safety threats in your community.
00:09:49.000 But don't cross that line.
00:09:51.000 I've used the term don't cross that line since January 20th.
00:09:54.000 If you cross that line of impeding our enforcement efforts, that's a felony.
00:09:58.000 If you cross that line unknowingly and harboring or concealing an illegal animal from mice, that's a felony.
00:10:05.000 You can't criminal trespass in our facilities.
00:10:07.000 And you certainly, certainly can't put hands on an ICE officer.
00:10:12.000 And that's what she did.
00:10:13.000 So she's being held accountable.
00:10:14.000 Remember, we got two judges being prosecuted.
00:10:17.000 We got a mayor that's arrested.
00:10:18.000 We got a congresswoman.
00:10:20.000 And look, They're not above the law either.
00:10:22.000 They've been preaching four years.
00:10:23.000 Trump wasn't above the law.
00:10:24.000 Well, either are they.
00:10:26.000 I wasn't bluffing.
00:10:27.000 We're going to hold people accountable.
00:10:29.000 You break the law, we're going to seek prosecution.
00:10:32.000 I think I join with...
00:10:53.000 We're honored that you're serving the way you are.
00:10:56.000 Thank you.
00:10:57.000 Thank you for having me.
00:11:01.000 Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:11:02.000 By the time this show ends, another family farm will be shut down.
00:11:05.000 Not because they stopped working hard, but because the meat in your grocery store isn't coming from them anymore.
00:11:10.000 It's coming from overseas, where safety standards are different and the quality is questionable.
00:11:14.000 That's why I buy all of my meat at GoodRanchers.com.
00:11:18.000 It doesn't just sell meat.
00:11:19.000 They guide you back to the source, to American ranchers, to real quality, to food you can actually trust.
00:11:25.000 Unlike imported meat, all Good Ranchers products are 100% born, raised, and harvested in America from local family farms.
00:11:34.000 Now more than ever, you need to switch to Good Ranchers because Good Ranchers is tariff-proof due to their 100% American supply chain.
00:11:40.000 So while new tariffs make grocery store prices unpredictable, Good Ranchers stay consistent.
00:11:44.000 And if you subscribe to any Good Ranchers box today, you get your pick of free meat All right,
00:12:04.000 welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:12:06.000 Charlie Kirk is on assignment in the United Kingdom.
00:12:10.000 We're excited to hear updates as they come.
00:12:14.000 I'm your guest host, Andrew Colvett.
00:12:16.000 Honored to be with you.
00:12:17.000 As always, when I get the opportunity.
00:12:19.000 So today, the big news, and we said Tom Homan on, a great American, absolute patriot.
00:12:25.000 But the big news today is that President Trump visited Capitol Hill to go whip votes for his one big, beautiful bill.
00:12:32.000 Now, if I could lay out the landscape for you, it's essentially this.
00:12:36.000 You've got the SALT holdouts.
00:12:38.000 Now, this is despite the fact that they've increased SALT deductions from about $12,000 to $30,000.
00:12:47.000 New York congressmen like Rep Lawler are saying that's not going to be good enough.
00:12:51.000 LaLoda, the same.
00:12:52.000 I think they're out way over their skis on this.
00:12:55.000 If somebody who lives in California would personally benefit from something like this, they're way out over their skis.
00:12:59.000 And I'll tell you why.
00:13:00.000 Because this is going to get to the U.S. Senate, and there are approximately this many senators that care about these SALT deductions.
00:13:10.000 It's different than the House.
00:13:12.000 In the House, you can have conservatives that are elected in...
00:13:16.000 Districts that are conservative in a blue state.
00:13:20.000 That's not the case with the United States Senate.
00:13:22.000 Those are statewide races, and if you are a conservative, you're not going to win those races, right?
00:13:28.000 So that's why it's going to go and die in the U.S. Senate.
00:13:31.000 And so the SALT folks need to take a win.
00:13:34.000 They need to take a middle ground and get to a point.
00:13:37.000 Now, Speaker Johnson offered a $40,000 for four years deduction.
00:13:42.000 And then it would revert back.
00:13:43.000 They say that's not good enough.
00:13:45.000 They're asking for 50 over 10 years, guaranteed, or something approximately at that point.
00:13:50.000 When we're dealing with a bill where the math does not work out, where the ends do not meet, and we're looking at a deficit increase, not a reduction, that dog ain't going to hunt.
00:14:00.000 So I want to just echo President Trump and say that the SALT deductions, it's helping blue state governors.
00:14:09.000 Now, we want to help all states, but we don't want to...
00:14:11.000 We want to encourage blue states that are taxing at a huge high rate, and then they get rewarded for it, and the federal government bails them out.
00:14:19.000 We want to encourage good behavior.
00:14:21.000 We want to incentivize good behavior.
00:14:24.000 The other issue is Medicaid and Medicare.
00:14:31.000 The Democrats are going out there, and they are saying that the Republicans are going to cut Medicare.
00:14:37.000 They're going to cut Medicaid.
00:14:38.000 That's not true.
00:14:39.000 There's a lot of waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:14:40.000 There's illegal aliens.
00:14:42.000 There's murderers, known murderers, that are taking Medicaid.
00:14:48.000 Now, Medicaid is designed to help those.
00:14:50.000 It's mean-tested.
00:14:51.000 So that means it's designed to help those that need it, right?
00:14:55.000 The poor, working class, pregnant mothers.
00:14:59.000 And there's a lot of waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:15:01.000 Waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:15:02.000 So let's hear it in President Trump's own words so we can get this out of the way.
00:15:07.000 The only thing we're cutting is waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:15:10.000 We're not changing Medicaid and we're not changing Medicare and we're not changing Social Security.
00:15:16.000 He says it very clearly.
00:15:18.000 We're not changing.
00:15:19.000 We're just getting rid of waste, fraud, and abuse.
00:15:22.000 That's a really big thing to get rid of.
00:15:25.000 And by the way, there is so much waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicaid that I don't think The average American can fully appreciate.
00:15:34.000 And the Democrats are hopping up and down, screaming, crying.
00:15:37.000 That is misplaced outrage.
00:15:39.000 That's a lie.
00:15:40.000 That's fear-mongering.
00:15:42.000 That's not what's happening here.
00:15:45.000 Let's get to another person that you may not expect to hear from in the Medicaid debate, and that's RFK Jr.
00:15:52.000 Now, obviously, as Secretary of Health and Human Services...
00:15:55.000 He knows a thing or two about what's going on in the health space.
00:15:58.000 So do you disagree with the cuts that are being proposed for Medicaid right now?
00:16:02.000 Oh, the cuts to...
00:16:03.000 You know, this is a...
00:16:04.000 I don't know if you understand this or whether you're just mouthing, you know, the Democratic talking boys.
00:16:11.000 The cuts to Medicaid are for fraud, waste, and abuse.
00:16:16.000 And I'll tell you what that means.
00:16:17.000 We were able to determine, and it's about 8 million people who would be affected.
00:16:23.000 Because of Doge, we were able to determine that there are a million people who are claiming Medicaid from multiple states.
00:16:29.000 That's illegal.
00:16:30.000 A million people claiming Medicaid from multiple states.
00:16:34.000 Obviously, that's illegal.
00:16:36.000 I just want to be very clear.
00:16:38.000 I'm sympathetic to the budget hawks.
00:16:41.000 We want to see the budget balanced.
00:16:44.000 We want to see the spending go down to pre-COVID levels.
00:16:47.000 This bill does not do that, and we have to be very clear about that.
00:16:51.000 The question then becomes, does the bill deserve to pass at all?
00:16:54.000 I believe yes it does.
00:16:55.000 I believe there's a few cuts, there's a few tweaks that need to happen.
00:16:58.000 President Trump is saying this morning that he wants to see this bill go over to the Senate.
00:17:03.000 He likes what they are proposing even more than what the House has.
00:17:08.000 He says they have a few things that he likes even better.
00:17:10.000 Now, they don't have a bill written, but President Trump is behind the scenes.
00:17:13.000 He's working on some of these negotiations.
00:17:15.000 He sees some of the stuff, and he likes it better.
00:17:18.000 So this bill is going to...

00:18:54.000 Let's give it some due.
00:18:56.000 I do have some notes.
00:18:58.000 I have some notes.
00:18:59.000 That's okay.
00:19:00.000 We support the president's agenda.
00:19:01.000 We think this is going to get passed.
00:19:03.000 It has to get passed.
00:19:05.000 You heard from Tom Homan.
00:19:06.000 He needs every dollar he can get to get these mass deportations up, which I believe is the one main reason.
00:19:12.000 Trump was elected for a lot of reasons.
00:19:13.000 It was a large coalition with a lot of priorities.
00:19:16.000 The border was number one.
00:19:17.000 We've got to get this passed even if it's just for the border.
00:19:19.000 By the way, we tax remittances.
00:19:21.000 That's when...
00:19:23.000 Foreigners, often illegals, send money back to their home country, the place where they should go be living right now.
00:19:30.000 We tax that.
00:19:31.000 It's good.
00:19:32.000 It's an incentive to say, hey, you're not going to get away for free here.
00:19:35.000 We're either going to deport you or we're going to tax you.
00:19:38.000 No free rides, folks.
00:19:39.000 But let's give the bill its due.
00:19:41.000 This is Mike Johnson talking about some of the good things in the bill.
00:19:53.000 Reduction Act?
00:19:53.000 We call it the Inflation Act.
00:19:55.000 We're ending Biden's war on American energy.
00:19:57.000 We're banning Medicaid dollars from going to transgender surgeries for minors.
00:20:01.000 We're canceling Biden's student loan repayment program.
00:20:04.000 We're increasing university endowment tax for these big, woke institutions.
00:20:09.000 We're revoking tax against status for non-profits that materially support terrorism.
00:20:14.000 We're doubling the jail time for leaks of confidential taxpayer information.
00:20:19.000 We're eliminating big businesses' ability to engage in woke PR campaigns to facilitate refundability for green energy projects.
00:20:25.000 We're incentivizing federal workforce to be at-will employees, and we're repealing Biden's disastrous EV mandate.
00:20:33.000 So let's give it its due.
00:20:35.000 This bill is beautiful.
00:20:36.000 There is a lot of big beautifulness in this bill.
00:20:39.000 We like this bill.
00:20:41.000 Directionally, this bill is great.
00:20:43.000 What we're talking about is fighting over the edges, but those edges can have massive implications, especially when it comes to Medicaid.
00:20:55.000 The Medicaid scam that some of these states pull is incredible.
00:21:01.000 Now, we're getting rid of these able-bodied subsidies, right?
00:21:05.000 So if somebody is able to work...
00:21:07.000 And they're not working, and we're still funding them.
00:21:10.000 This is the number one area of expansion of the federal budget, and nobody is seriously trying to fight this except for these four holdouts.
00:21:18.000 So my sympathies lie with them.
00:21:21.000 Genuinely.
00:21:21.000 And I want to hear from Rep.
00:21:22.000 Andy Harris here.
00:21:23.000 Bottom line is if we don't get significant spending reduction, this bill is not going anywhere this week.
00:21:29.000 We were warning about it in the Freedom Caucus for really years, that we have to get our debt and deficit in order.
00:21:36.000 You know, they're whistling past the graveyard.
00:21:38.000 It's like that never happened.
00:21:40.000 But it did happen.
00:21:41.000 And we have to get back to pre-COVID spending levels wherever we can.
00:21:45.000 We certainly can with Medicaid because the fraud, waste and abuse, the gaming of the system, the giving benefits to, you know, two and a half million illegal immigrants.
00:21:55.000 I mean, this is ridiculous.
00:21:56.000 It has to stop.
00:21:58.000 We have a long way to go.
00:22:00.000 We don't get there by Wednesday.
00:22:01.000 And the word is they want to have this vote Wednesday.
00:22:04.000 There's just no way it's passing on Wednesday.
00:22:06.000 He continues.
00:22:08.000 This is the graph of what the Republican plan is for Medicaid spending over the next 10 years.
00:22:14.000 This assumes that we actually get all the able-bodied, single people without children on Medicaid to agree to work 20 hours a week or volunteer at a church or train.
00:22:27.000 And if we eliminate all the fraud, waste and abuse, and there's plenty of it, we're left with at least a 25% So that was obviously from the House floor.
00:22:46.000 Now, there is a scam here where, and people, this gets wonky.
00:22:52.000 I don't want to get too into the weeds, but it's called FMAP.
00:22:55.000 It's the federal, I'll get the acronym for you in a second.
00:23:01.000 It's the federal medical assistance percentage.
00:23:04.000 So basically, it's a mean-tested program, meaning that the poorer states get more federal matching dollars than the rich states.
00:23:11.000 But what the states do, and this is one of Chip Roy's big problems, is that they charge a provider tax on it.
00:23:19.000 So if we send $10,000 to California, they'll bump it up by 5%.
00:23:24.000 And then there's little carve-outs, and then they take that money and they fund Medi-Cal.
00:23:28.000 And they give it to illegals or different things or Planned Parenthood.
00:23:31.000 That stuff needs to stop, and Chip Royd's 100% right on that.
00:23:35.000 So where we stand right now on the big, beautiful bill, Chip Royd's probably a no.
00:23:41.000 All the SALT guys, that would be Stefanik, Garbarino, Lawler, Lalota, Young Kim, Tom King Jr., Langworthy.
00:23:50.000 Those guys are all probably a no because they're going to hold fast in their coalition for these SALT exemptions.
00:23:55.000 Now, again, I think that that horse ain't going to hunt.
00:23:59.000 They've already gotten a concession, albeit a small one.
00:24:02.000 That's what you're going to get.
00:24:03.000 When it goes to the Senate, that's not going to pass.
00:24:06.000 And a no for now.
00:24:08.000 These are people that I believe will support the bill.
00:24:10.000 They're speaking in such a way that says that they are going to support the bill, but they want to hold out for some additional tweaks.
00:24:17.000 And again, Trump has said he's open to tweaks.
00:24:19.000 He wants tweaks, but he wants this to pass, and he wants to pass soon.
00:24:23.000 That's Ralph Norman.
00:24:24.000 Eli Crane, the great Eli Crane from Arizona, Rich McCormick, Eric Burleson, Mark Harris, Andrew Clyde, Tim Burchette, Keith Self, Warren Davidson, Andy Biggs, Andy Harris, Andy Ogles.
00:24:34.000 Now, these are a lot of the Freedom Caucus guy, the budget hawks.
00:24:37.000 Trump said in his presser this morning, he said, lay off my Freedom Caucus guy.
00:24:42.000 Those are my people.
00:24:44.000 So there's no beef there.
00:24:46.000 Now, Thomas Massey and Trump, that relationship is basically done.
00:24:50.000 Trump is saying he wants Thomas Massey out.
00:24:53.000 He doesn't understand government.
00:24:54.000 Thomas Massey doesn't always know there's nothing I can do to win their vote.
00:24:57.000 Okay.
00:24:58.000 Well, that's one.
00:24:59.000 We don't have much more to give than that.
00:25:01.000 All right?
00:25:02.000 And we were going to have Chip Roy on this morning.
00:25:05.000 Unfortunately, schedules, everything's going crazy, but he was scheduled to be on right now explaining some of his holdouts, some of his reservations.
00:25:13.000 But I think he's making some good points that we have to stop the expansion of this Medicaid graft and spending and abuse.
00:25:21.000 Illegals have no place on this, on Medicaid.
00:25:23.000 We need to get them all off.
00:25:24.000 I think everybody's united on that.
00:25:26.000 We have to stop this FMAP stuff where we're paying way too much to the states and we're incentivizing them to expand the amount of spending in this way.
00:25:38.000 So, all in all, there's a lot to love in this bill.
00:25:42.000 It is 95% of the way there, maybe 98% of the way there, but the devil is in the details.
00:25:47.000 These last 2% are important fixes.
00:25:49.000 I do want to see them get fixed, and hopefully we see some progress on them.
00:25:56.000 Now, this bill will now have to go to the Senate, okay?
00:26:04.000 So we don't know how this is going to happen.
00:26:07.000 We are told that we're not going to have a CBO score until...
00:26:11.000 After they vote on this bill.
00:26:14.000 So that, to me, is a little bit fishy as well.
00:26:17.000 Now, I get the urgency that we want to push this forward.
00:26:19.000 We want to push this forward.
00:26:20.000 We want to push this forward.
00:26:20.000 We want to get Trump's win.
00:26:22.000 We all agree.
00:26:23.000 We love 95%, 98% of this bill, but we got to make sure that we bring these no votes into the fold, listen to some of their pushbacks.
00:26:33.000 Now, this SALT thing, I think, is dead on arrival.
00:26:35.000 I told you that multiple times.
00:26:37.000 But what are we going to do?
00:26:41.000 Steve Scalise admitting that Medicaid is in fact going to grow.
00:26:44.000 207.
00:26:45.000 Medicaid still grows under this bill.
00:26:48.000 If somebody's able-bodied and they can go get a job and they're living in their mom's basement playing video games, I'm sorry, you got to go get a job.
00:26:55.000 This program was designed for the truly needy, the disabled people, pregnant women, seniors.
00:27:01.000 Those are the people we're going to help more by shoring the program up.
00:27:05.000 So there's no cuts.
00:27:06.000 I would like to see more cuts, but the fear-mongering from the left is just simply not true.
00:27:10.000 Even Andy Harris admits it.
00:27:11.000 This is going to grow by about 25% over the next couple of years.
00:27:17.000 And we're going to see what happens.
00:27:19.000 These are going to be high drama.
00:27:20.000 If you are a fan of Congress, which would make you in the minority, but if you enjoy the way the sausage gets made, this is high drama stuff.
00:27:28.000 You're going to be glued to your ex-feed and to your...
00:27:34.000 Television scream for the next couple of days.
00:27:36.000 But this is high drama stuff.
00:27:39.000 Again, the SALT caucus is breaking.
00:27:40.000 They have reached out to the speaker to tell him they are a no on the bill after the Trump speech at the conference.
00:27:47.000 So again, SALT caucus, that would be the Stefana, Garbarino, Lawler, Lelota, Young Kim, Tom King, Jr., Langworthy, those guys are all no.
00:27:57.000 So there's still no, they're holding out for more salt reductions.
00:28:00.000 Trump told Lawler this morning during his session with House Republicans, he said, I know your district better than you do, and if you're going to lose because you don't get salt reductions, you are going to lose anyway.
00:28:14.000 I think he's probably right on that.
00:28:16.000 But it is very possible that Trump's tough language could have driven a wedge even further, made them dig in even further here.
00:28:23.000 We're going to see how that plays out.
00:28:26.000 We don't have a bill yet.
00:28:27.000 We love most of it.
00:28:28.000 We want to see it get passed.
00:28:30.000 We want to see the president's agenda, these tax cuts.
00:28:32.000 He's 100% right.
00:28:33.000 Nobody's fighting tax cuts, by the way.
00:28:35.000 There will be a massive tax increase if this bill does not get passed.
00:28:38.000 We've got to see it get passed.
00:28:40.000 But in the meantime, a few little tweaks, a few little things here and there.
00:28:44.000 All right, folks, that's...
00:28:46.000 Probably going to be the gist of my coverage on this one big, beautiful bill.
00:28:50.000 I want to get into some stuff that I saw Pete Hegseth say about the DOD.
00:28:54.000 There's also some breaking news that we want to get to in some other areas of the news this morning in our final segment of the hour.
00:29:03.000 So if you think about it, please say a prayer for Charlie Kirk.
00:29:08.000 He is out in the UK.
00:29:10.000 He's going to have a big debate at Oxford today.
00:29:12.000 So say a prayer.
00:29:13.000 We'll be right back.
00:29:16.000 Private student loan debt.
00:29:17.000 So many Americans feel stuck and helpless.
00:29:19.000 They are the sponsor of our campus tour.
00:29:21.000 They are great people.
00:29:23.000 You can finally take control of your student loan situation at YReFi.com.
00:29:27.000 That is Y-R-E-F-Y.com.
00:29:29.000 They provide you with a custom loan payment based on your ability to pay.
00:29:33.000 YReFi is not a debt settlement company, and they work with each borrower individually, tailoring each loan to each borrower's specific.
00:29:41.000 You'll not be calling a faceless call center.
00:29:44.000 YReFi can reduce your monthly payment and guarantees interest rates under 6%.
00:29:49.000 YReFi does not care what your credit score is.
00:29:51.000 Go to YReFi.com.
00:29:53.000 That is Y-R-E-F-Y.com.
00:29:55.000 So take a look at it right now at YReFi.com.
00:29:58.000 YReFi refinances distress and defaulted private student loans, which are different from federal loans.
00:30:03.000 They offer a three-minute rate check.
00:30:05.000 So I want you to think right now.
00:30:06.000 Maybe you have private student loan debt.
00:30:08.000 Maybe your friend does.
00:30:09.000 Maybe your neighbor.
00:30:10.000 Got to check it out.
00:30:11.000 YREFI.com.
00:30:12.000 Y-R-E-F-Y.com.
00:30:14.000 Can you imagine being debt-free and not burdened anymore?
00:30:17.000 Go to YREFI.com.
00:30:18.000 May not be available in all 50 states.
00:30:19.000 YREFI.com.
00:30:22.000 So let's talk about Joe Biden.
00:30:25.000 So this is the piece that just drives me nuts, let me just tell you.
00:30:30.000 Jake Tapper has a new book called Original Sin.
00:30:35.000 That's an ironic title because he's talking about the cover-up of Joe Biden's mental decline.
00:30:40.000 And now, of course, Joe Biden has been diagnosed with cancer, a really aggressive form of cancer.
00:30:45.000 He's an old man.
00:30:46.000 It's not surprising.
00:30:46.000 A lot of men get prostate cancer later in life.
00:30:50.000 And Jake Tapper's making money off of this book and acting holier-than-thou, getting ahead of the narrative, as they say.
00:30:58.000 Now, it's a good, calm strategy.
00:31:01.000 But essentially, Democrats got caught.
00:31:03.000 Hiding the unhideable.
00:31:05.000 So it's so brazen.
00:31:07.000 It's so extreme that in this case, I think it's a terrible comm strategy.
00:31:10.000 Instead of trying to get ahead of it and writing a book called Original Sin and making money off of it, maybe you should have just said, sorry, Jake Tapper.
00:31:19.000 This is Jake Tapper in 2023 dressing down Lara Trump for daring to question the cognitive and mental abilities of Joe Biden.
00:31:30.000 How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that?
00:31:35.000 I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, is very clearly a cognitive decline.
00:31:40.000 That's what I'm referring to.
00:31:42.000 It makes me uncomfortable to watch the money on stage search for questions.
00:31:45.000 It's so amazing to me that...
00:31:48.000 And try and figure out an answer.
00:31:50.000 A cognitive decline.
00:31:51.000 You're trying to tell me that what I was suggesting was a stuttering...
00:31:54.000 I think that you were mocking his stutter.
00:31:56.000 Yeah, I think you were mocking his stutter, and I think you have absolutely no standing to...
00:31:59.000 He is one of the most sanctimonious,
00:32:15.000 hypocritical, garbage people on television.
00:32:20.000 I have zero patience for Jake Tapper.
00:32:23.000 I actually think he is a scumbag.
00:32:24.000 Play cut 222.
00:32:26.000 This is President Trump now questioning.
00:32:29.000 Openly questioning the doctors for Joe Biden.
00:32:54.000 Maybe it was the president.
00:32:56.000 Who was operating the auto pen?
00:32:58.000 Did we elect them?
00:32:59.000 No, I don't think we did.
00:33:00.000 Cut 206.
00:33:02.000 This is Dr. Zeke Emanuel on MSNBC on Morning Joe, of all places, saying that he definitely has had this cancer for a long time.
00:33:09.000 This is not speculation.
00:33:11.000 If you have prostate cancer that is spread to the bone, then he most certainly, you are saying, had it when he was president of the United States.
00:33:22.000 Oh, yeah.
00:33:23.000 He did not develop it in the last 100, 200 days.
00:33:27.000 He had it while he was president.
00:33:28.000 He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021.
00:33:35.000 Yes, I don't think there's any disagreement about that.
00:33:39.000 So are we supposed to believe that Joe Biden, with the best medical care on planet Earth, the best that money can buy, is provided for the president, that they missed this aggressive cancer?
00:33:53.000 That he's probably had since the beginning of his presidency?
00:33:56.000 Absolutely no way in hell is that true.
00:33:59.000 And here's what I'll also say.
00:34:01.000 I thought the auto-pen thing was kind of a distraction.
00:34:05.000 It is taking on incredibly increased meaning now.
00:34:08.000 And this is a huge story.
00:34:10.000 Watch this space.
00:34:11.000 We don't know where it's going to go.
