00:01:00.000 As we're continuing almost every day, we have a new Cabinet Secretary, Sean Duffy.

00:01:06.000 Mr. Secretary, we're having you on under a story, during a story developing that is quite dark.

00:01:12.000 And unfortunately, it seems as if it is a bigger problem than people realize.

00:01:16.000 Essentially, we have a illegal alien, non-English understanding truck driving problem in this country. 1.00

00:01:24.000 In Florida, there was a guy that was let into the country.

00:01:26.000 His name is Harbinger Singh or Harginger, I guess.

00:01:30.000 Harbinger also works kind of deeply, darkly ironic, where Joe Biden let him into the country, gave him a works license.

00:01:36.000 He got a commercial driver's license, did not, was not able to read English, only got two out of twelve on his proficiency test.

00:01:43.000 He was driving U-hauls across the country, and then he did an illegal U-turn on a highway killing three Americans, and then just kind of watching while all the rubble and the bodies were taken out.

00:01:55.000 How common is this, Mr. Secretary?

00:01:57.000 And why have we been putting up with it in years past?

00:02:00.000 So listen, this has been brought to the nation's attention with this crash, but this is something that the department has been working on for months.

00:02:08.000 Again, we're concerned that we have too many people who have come into the country. 1.00

00:02:13.000 They might have even gotten work permits and they can't speak the language and they're getting full-term CDLs.

00:02:19.000 That's exactly what Washington did for this driver, giving him a full-term CDL.

00:02:24.000 By the way, Charlie, that's reserved for American truck drivers, American citizens to have that full-term CDL.

00:02:32.000 And then California gave the same CDL to him as well when his Washington one expired.

00:02:38.000 But here's the real problem.

00:02:40.000 We came out in May and said, listen, English only, our English proficiency for truck drivers is critical for safety.

00:02:47.000 And now some of the left gave us blowback and they gave us pushback and they said we were being too harsh.

00:02:52.000 They were anti-immigrant.

00:02:54.000 And we said, no, no, this is about safety.

00:02:56.000 You have to be able as a truck driver to understand the road signs.

00:03:00.000 But also if you're pulled over, you have to be able to communicate whether you're at a waystation or with law enforcement.

00:03:05.000 What's on your load?

00:03:06.000 What are you carrying?

00:03:07.000 Where are you going?

00:03:08.000 Where are you coming from?

00:03:09.000 You have to be able to communicate with law enforcement.

00:03:11.000 And so this driver was pulled over in New Mexico last month in July after our initiative was fully in the works.

00:03:20.000 And they failed in New Mexico when they pulled him over for speeding to give him the English test.

00:03:26.000 And had they done that, they would have put his vehicle out of service and taken him off the road.

00:03:31.000 But because they didn't follow our directive, he went back on their road and was able to commit this horrific crash in Florida, taking three innocent lives with them.

00:03:41.000 And so again, we're doing what we can at the DOT level.

00:03:48.000 We have to ask for states to participate with us because driver's licenses are issued in the states.

00:03:54.000 We are engaged in a full investigation.

00:03:56.000 And through that, there are a number of issues based on that investigation that we can take to inflict some pain to guarantee that our states are complying with federal law and regulation.

00:04:09.000 And just to be clear, also, you need to be able to communicate on a two-way radio if you're driving a rig.

00:04:15.000 You have to be able to know where are we going.

00:04:17.000 So he can't read the road signs.

00:04:18.000 He can't talk to police.

00:04:20.000 he can't talk to people about what he's carrying and he can't talk on a two-way radio so he doesn't understand english we have discovered though this is not just a minor problem.

00:04:28.000 There are thousands and thousands and thousands of these all across the country.

00:04:32.000 And anecdotally, I think a lot of people in the audience would agree that driving on our highways, it feels much more dangerous.

00:04:38.000 I mean, that you have semi trucks going all over the place.

00:04:40.000 And now it makes sense because we have a bunch of foreigners that have not passed our driving test. 1.00

00:04:44.000 This guy did not even pass the test adequately.

00:04:47.000 So, and if his English was so bad, how did these cops just let him go in New Mexico?

00:04:52.000 How do you communicate during a traffic stop?

00:04:55.000 Do you have any insight into that, mister Secretary?

00:04:58.000 So, insight specifically, that's why we're having an investigation.

00:05:00.000 I don't want to comment on that specifically.

00:05:03.000 But I will tell you that in some of these states, you have liberal governors who don't want to comply with the law.

00:05:09.000 And they think that they know best and that we're just trying to be mean to illegals. 1.00

00:05:14.000 But when you, whether you're going to fly in an airplane, you're going to be on a train, you're going to be on the American roadway, you deserve to be safe and you expect that your federal government is going to have smart policies in place that do keep you safe.

00:05:26.000 And again, they just blatantly in New Mexico said, we're not going to comply with federal regulation and give him that road test.

00:05:32.000 By the way, let's lay out what happened here.

00:05:35.000 It's a four lane highway with the grass in between and usually have those little pieces of whether it's gravel or concrete where an emergency vehicle can turn around on that freeway.

00:05:48.000 This driver went into the right lane slowing down and then turned into the left lane trying to get into the you can see it right there into a turnaround which is not authorized for a truck that size.

00:06:02.000 But again, when he did that, he blocked the whole roadway.

00:06:05.000 So this is just common sense.

00:06:09.000 This is a common safety practice that any driver would say this is completely unsafe.

00:06:15.000 Whether you could read the road signs or not, but when you have a complete disregard for human safety and for the rules and which anyone should comply with just as a human being., not even as an American, it's even that much more shocking.

00:06:29.000 I agree.

00:06:29.000 And I know you have to just, you know, sit while I say this, but common sense.

00:06:34.000 Yeah, if you're raised in America, we know not to do this.

00:06:36.000 But if you're raised in the third world, like, okay, I go drive in New Delhi. 1.00

00:06:40.000 They're doing all sorts of goofy stuff.

00:06:41.000 They, you know, they're avoiding cows.

00:06:43.000 They're doing all sorts of crazy stuff.

00:06:45.000 This is a certain way of thinking.

00:06:47.000 And he had no reason to be on the road, let alone a commercial driver's license.

00:06:52.000 Third world traffic is a free for all nightmare. 0.98

00:06:55.000 And now you import the third world and you allow it onto your streets. 1.00

00:06:58.000 So Joe Biden had a task force comprised of a bunch of Pete Buddha judges buddies..

00:07:02.000 By the way, next time Pete Buttigieg comes up for an interview, someone should ask him about this.

00:07:06.000 You're doing a phenomenal job, Mr. Secretary.

00:07:07.000 Let me just say you're a rig star.

00:07:09.000 You're doing 10 out of 10.

00:07:10.000 And so, and I know you're going to fix this.

00:07:13.000 There were hundreds of thousands.

00:07:14.000 So basically, from what we understand, there were 400,000 new commercial drivers licenses given to migrants, refugees, and illegals, thus flooding the industry.

00:07:22.000 I want everyone to understand.

00:07:23.000 Let me repeat that.

00:07:24.000 There's 400,000 people with commercial drivers licenses right now driving rigs.

00:07:30.000 That's a public safety risk, Mr. Secretary.

00:07:33.000 100%, which is why we changed the rules, right?

00:07:37.000 So again, making sure you speak the language.

00:07:41.000 And by the way, that has been the rule of the road.

00:07:43.000 You have to speak English.

00:07:44.000 What happened though is Democratic administrations have said, well, if you violate that rule, we're going to give you a slap on the wrist.

00:07:49.000 What we said is, no, no, we're going to put your vehicle out of service.

00:07:52.000 And probably that's a big thing where if you're pulled over and you have to get out of your rig and park it at a waystay station and you have to wait for some other driver to come in, that the economic consequence of that is real.

00:08:06.000 And then you're going to see our haulers make better decisions about who they hire and knowing that they can speak the language.

00:08:14.000 But I think this is a broader theme.

00:08:16.000 And you've covered the border a lot.

00:08:17.000 You've talked about it.

00:08:19.000 The last administration had a sick set of ideals about we want to let as many people from around the world into this country. 0.99

00:08:26.000 And then we want to let them in and compete with American men and women in some great jobs that are family supporting and drive the wages down of those jobs, but also endanger Americans' lives while they'll do it, whether they're at the southern border, whether they're cartel members, whether they're criminals, sexual predators, drug dealers or truck drivers that come into this country.

00:08:47.000 The last administration didn't give a damn about the safety and the well being of the American people.

00:08:51.000 And this is just one additional example of the lack of care they had for us.

00:08:59.000 Let's be honest.

00:09:00.000 Most of what comes out of Hollywood these days makes a mockery of America, our history, our values, and our faith.

00:10:25.000 Again, so we have neighbors to the north and neighbors to the south, right?

00:10:28.000 So in Canada and Mexico, we allow because a lot of products move between our countries, we'll allow a Canadian truck driver or a Mexican truck driver to drive into the U.S. to drop a load.

00:10:40.000 And once they drop it, their visa allows them to turn right around.

00:10:44.000 and drive back to their country of origin, Canada or Mexico.

00:10:48.000 What we find happening now is they'll actually pick up additional loads in violation of what we allowed them to do in this country.

00:10:57.000 And they'll make two, three, four, six more stops in this country without authorization, cabotage.

00:11:04.000 And so we're working on that as well.

00:11:05.000 Again, we are going to follow the rules to the letter and we're going to implement new regulation that, again, I think our truck drivers are so angry about this.

00:11:14.000 American truck drivers who abide by the rules.

00:11:18.000 They move our products across the country.

00:11:20.000 We saw during COVID how critical they are in keeping our store shelves stocked.

00:11:25.000 They see this happening.

00:11:27.000 And I think it gives their business a bad name.

00:11:30.000 They are fully supportive of what we're doing, which I'm grateful for that.

00:11:33.000 But also the fact that you bring people in to compete with great American jobs or you drive down wages, I want great truck driving jobs with great pay because they do great work.

00:11:45.000 And again, that the last administration didn't give a darn about it is outrageous, but we love them.

00:11:52.000 The president loves them and we're going to continue to look out for them and make sure that if you come in, you drive, you can speak the language, you can understand signs.

00:12:02.000 and you're going to keep our roadways safe.

00:12:03.000 And make no mistake, I know some of these guys.

00:12:05.000 These large trucking companies, they want low wage labor.

00:12:08.000 They don't want to pay Americans, so they're happy hiring harbingers. 0.99

00:12:11.000 And so that's a very important thing.

00:12:13.000 Yeah, exactly.

00:12:14.000 Sorry.

00:12:15.000 And I know that this is not your jurisdiction, Mr. Secretary, but I will recommend publicly to Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem, we need to just deport them.

00:12:23.000 And that's not your jurisdiction, but interagency cooperation to deport every single CDL illegal non-English-speaking person driving.

00:12:32.000 That's a weapon on the road.

00:12:33.000 Any final thoughts on this, the situation?

00:12:36.000 Also, I know you oversee NASA as well.

00:12:38.000 There's other news besides this kind of dark stuff we're dealing with, but please.

00:12:43.000 So just real quick, it is a whole-of-government approach.

00:12:46.000 And what I love about President Trump's cabinet is all of us look for opportunities to work together.

00:12:50.000 No one backstabs each other.

00:12:52.000 And so Christy and I have exchanged messages on this very issue.

00:12:56.000 Everyone has to work together to make sure we serve the American people.

00:12:59.000 And that's exactly what happens, your point.

00:13:01.000 Just quick on NASA. 1.00

00:13:03.000 Everyone in the world, everyone in America knew the Apollo program when we went back.

00:13:08.000 We went to the moon in the 60s and 70s.

00:13:10.000 We're going back to the moon, Charlie.

00:13:13.000 Artemis II is going to go out and around the moon at the startup.

00:13:16.000 of next year and then artemis three in about a little more than a year after that we're going to go land back on the moon and what we learn and by the way we're going to when we go we're going to stay we're going to set up a a camp.

00:13:28.000 There's a bit of a space race going on right now.

00:13:30.000 There's a critical area on the moon that we want to get to.

00:13:32.000 We know that the Russians would like to get there, the Chinese as well.

00:13:36.000 And so we want to be the first ones back there.

00:13:38.000 But what we learn when we go to the moon is going to instruct us on how we get to Mars.

00:13:42.000 And again, we're great explorers from the pilgrims to the pioneers.

00:13:46.000 We're explorers.

00:13:47.000 And they used to say, Charlie, that he who controls the seas controls the world.

00:13:51.000 And I think as we look forward, he who controls space is going to control the world.

00:13:55.000 We do not want to see that to the Chinese. 1.00

00:13:58.000 And so it's an exciting time at NASA.

00:13:59.000 We are getting the directive away from the DI, away from the green.

00:14:03.000 We're going to comply with congressional requirements, but the focus is human exploration.

00:14:09.000 That, by the way, we're the only agency that does that.

00:14:11.000 There's a lot of people that can do DI.

00:14:13.000 I would disagree with it.

00:14:14.000 A lot of people can do green.

00:14:16.000 I agree with that as well.

00:14:17.000 But we do space exploration and we are re-realigning the agency to do just that.

00:14:23.000 It's an exciting time and I'm looking forward to it.

00:15:36.000 But one out of three truck drivers, you cannot drive like that in America when people expect drivers to respect the rules of the road.

00:17:47.000 The Democrat Party is facing a voter registration crisis in red, blue, and battleground states alike, losing ground to the Republican Party everywhere.

00:17:59.000 New York Times has this piece by, I believe it's Shane Goldmacher.

00:18:05.000 The party is bleeding support beyond the ballot box.

00:18:07.000 A new analysis shows.

00:18:09.000 And by the way, we are only going to pour more gas on the fire because at Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, every day we are registering new voters.

00:18:17.000 Every single day we are out in the streets registering new voters, grassroots, precinct by precinct, campus by campus, church by church.

00:18:25.000 All told, Democrats lost 2.1 million registered voters between 2020 and 2024 elections in the 30 states along with Washington, D.C. There are still more Democrats registered than Republicans nationwide, partly because of big blue states like California, where they registered by party like Texas is not, but trajectory is troublesome for Democrats, and there are growing tensions over what to do about it.

00:18:51.000 Democrats are down in Colorado.

00:18:52.000 Democrats are hugely down in Nevada.

00:18:54.000 They're down significantly in Arizona, down significantly in Florida, down significantly in Maine, down significantly in Iowa, down significantly in Oklahoma.

00:19:03.000 Now, we should not treat this like an over-success story on the Republican side, but the Democrats are on the wrong side of every single 8020 issue, every single 8020 issue, down significantly in Wyoming, down significantly.

00:19:17.000 in Kentucky, down significantly in every major state.

00:19:20.000 They've been down 7% in voter registration since 2020.

00:19:25.000 Consider this.

00:19:25.000 In 2018, Democrats accounted for 34% of new voter registration numbers, while Republicans were only 20%.

00:19:32.000 By 2024, Republicans had taken over Democrats among new registrants.

00:19:35.000 What does that mean?

00:19:36.000 That means that the youth Gen Z surge is sticking. 0.96

00:20:10.000 Democratic strategists say that this is a crisis that must be reversed before the 2020 election, and we're not going to let that happen.

00:20:18.000 We have, without a doubt, and we are scaling up the largest voter registration operation in the conservative movement history.

00:20:25.000 Every day, our over 1,000 staff are registering new voters in Arizona, Nevada, in Texas, in Iowa, in Ohio, in North Carolina.

00:20:33.000 We just had our entire Turning Point Action team doing it for three weeks straight at the Iowa State Fair.

00:20:37.000 And it's new voters.

00:20:39.000 It's young men. 0.90

00:20:40.000 It's young Christians. 0.84

00:20:41.000 It's young ladies that all want to give their, have their worldview closer to that of the Western, the Western order. 0.98
