00:01:30.000 Last weekend at about two o'clock in the morning, Saturday night, Sunday morning, one or more arsonists broke into this building and they set two fires.
00:01:38.000 They set one fire on the ground floor of the corridor between our office, Center of the America Experiment, and space across the hall that we subleased to take charge, which is Kendall and Sheila Falls organization.
00:01:51.000 So the arsonists set one fire there and then they set a completely different fire up on the third floor.
00:01:58.000 And I think they broke down the door to the office of the Upper Midwest Law Center and set that second fire inside that office, which is now completely destroyed.
00:02:08.000 It's obvious that these arsonists targeting conservative groups.
00:02:11.000 This building is full of psychologists and hierophants and financial advisors and so on.
00:02:16.000 They didn't target any of those people.
00:02:18.000 They specifically targeted the three conservative groups that are located in this building.
00:02:22.000 It's not going to impact us a bit.
00:02:24.000 We actually launched a new campaign yesterday and we're going to have to work remotely for a little while.
00:02:29.000 We're working on finding a substitute office space for the next few months.
00:02:33.000 This is not going to impact our work.
00:02:36.000 This is a huge story that caught my attention.
00:02:38.000 I told Andrew immediately, get this on the show.
00:02:40.000 I believe that was John Hindrucker, who's a good friend.
00:02:42.000 I've known him for a while.
00:02:43.000 He's great from Minnesota.
00:02:44.000 But joining us now is James Dickey.
00:02:46.000 He's attorney for the Upper Midwest Law Center.
00:02:49.000 James, thank you for joining us.
00:02:51.000 This caught my attention.
00:02:52.000 It should be national news.
00:02:54.000 Arsonists come in, and I would imagine there's a federal hate crime statute about this, you know, using explosionary incendiary devices against people's political views.
00:03:05.000 I mean, it seems rather cut and dry.
00:03:07.000 James, walk us through this.
00:03:08.000 This is a major story that has received zero mainstream coverage.
00:03:12.000 Well, thanks again, Kirk Charlie, for having us on here.
00:03:14.000 And it's been a really frustrating situation for us.
00:03:18.000 Last Sunday, January 28th, I got an email saying that our office has been totally torched.
00:03:25.000 As John Hinderocker from Center of the American Experiment said, firebombed, essentially using accelerants in front of our office on the third floor of the building and in front of Center of the American Experiment and take charge on the first floor of the building.
00:03:40.000 And some of that footage you just played there was our office on the third floor, which was essentially entirely destroyed with some rare exceptions, unfortunately.
00:03:52.000 And it's been a really awful situation.
00:03:55.000 But as John said, despite it being terrible to feel targeted like this, we are going forward without any stopping in our work.
00:04:03.000 We're going to continue to do the good work that we do on behalf of the people of Minnesota.
00:04:07.000 Yeah, so just walk us through some more of the details here.
00:04:11.000 How many people did this?
00:04:13.000 Is there security footage?
00:04:14.000 I mean, it's obvious it's political in nature, and then connect that with just the bubbling up of radicalism every so often we see in Minnesota.
00:04:22.000 You know, we hear about Minnesota NICE.
00:04:24.000 We don't think about Minnesota arson.
00:04:26.000 Yeah, no.
00:04:27.000 So as far as we know, what I'm aware of at this point, first of all, there are security cameras at the building and there was a security camera on the first floor in front of Senate of the American Experiment.
00:04:38.000 I've had conversations with federal law enforcement a couple of times so far.
00:04:43.000 They are hot on the trail and I don't have any updates in terms of any arrests or any suspects that they've identified so far, but they are hot on the trail.
00:04:51.000 They're hard working on this case.
00:04:53.000 They seem like very, very much wanting to get the people involved here.
00:04:57.000 And yeah, I mean, you know, you think of Minnesota NICE, you think that there's going to be people out there who may disagree with us, but that they'll respectfully disagree.
00:05:07.000 And unfortunately, there is a large element in Minnesota, apparently, of people who are willing to take action like this and, you know, attack someone, torch their office because of their political views.
00:05:18.000 Is there, do we have any idea?
00:05:20.000 I mean, we know politics, but a motive.
00:05:21.000 Is there something, a project that is being worked on or being considered that triggered this?
00:05:28.000 Or was this a like, let's just say an escalating type conflict?
00:05:34.000 You know, we don't have, this came out kind of out of the blue for us, but I mean, we do take on a lot of very at the Upper Midwest Law Center, which is my firm, we take on a lot of hot button issues.
00:05:43.000 I'm arguing in the Supreme Court of Minnesota on Thursday that the governor did not have the authority to declare a peacetime emergency in response to COVID-19.
00:05:52.000 We have an argument coming up in the Minnesota Supreme Court in April that the new change in the legislature, that those who are still serving felony sentences are allowed to vote despite the Constitution's statement to the contrary for Minnesota.
00:06:05.000 That's coming up in April in the Minnesota Supreme Court.
00:06:08.000 So there are some very high profile issues that we take on.
00:06:13.000 And we don't know if there any particular issue is the cause of this, but we have to think that, I mean, as John Hendracker said, they didn't set fire in front of the chiropractor and the psychologist.
00:06:23.000 They set fire in front of the three conservative organizations.
00:06:26.000 There's a clear motive here.
00:06:28.000 Yeah, there's, of course, a motive.
00:06:30.000 And so just last question here.
00:06:32.000 How could people support your organizations?
00:06:34.000 I mean, this is important.
00:06:35.000 I hope the whole audience understands this.
00:06:36.000 You guys are doing great work.
00:06:38.000 It's honestly mainstream, constitutional, nothing radical, very run-of-the-mill type stuff, pro-freedom.
00:06:44.000 It's not, this is not crazy stuff.
00:06:47.000 You guys are targeted with firebombing.
00:06:49.000 And just so everyone understands, evening, nighttime twilight firebombing is now a pattern.
00:06:54.000 And very few, I think there was only one arrest, right, Blake?
00:06:57.000 One arrest post the Roe versus Wade reversal on firebombing?
00:07:01.000 Maybe.
00:07:02.000 And right?
00:07:03.000 There was hundreds of these.
00:07:04.000 And so you have these radical Antifa-like activists.
00:07:09.000 They will break into offices, they'll firebomb, and then they'll leave, and they're not held accountable.
00:07:16.000 So how could people support you?
00:07:17.000 And I know I asked something similar.
00:07:19.000 Do you have any evidence that federal law enforcement is on the case here?
00:07:23.000 Oh, yeah, federal law enforcement is absolutely on the case.
00:07:26.000 We've had interviews with them and I know that they're working on it.
00:07:32.000 And I can't say much more than that at this point, I think, but I think I'm hopeful that we'll see something here soon.
00:07:37.000 As for supporting us, you can go to umlc.org slash donate, umlc.org slash donate.
00:07:43.000 And every dollar that we get, of course, goes to our work.
00:07:47.000 And we certainly do, like you said, try to bring clear constitutional claims on behalf of people in Minnesota who deserve their right to individual freedom and liberty.
00:07:56.000 And, you know, we're really grateful for all the support that we can get.
00:07:59.000 James, thank you so much.
00:08:00.000 Thank you.
00:08:00.000 We have your back.
00:08:01.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:08:02.000 Appreciate your time.
00:08:03.000 Blake, what are your thoughts on that story there?
00:08:04.000 I mean, it's received almost no coverage.
00:08:06.000 And this is a pattern, this evening nighttime violence of office buildings.
00:08:11.000 I can't easily say how much of a pattern it is.
00:08:14.000 I can definitely say if, yeah, if we had a firebombing in D.C. of even any random liberal office, you know, MAGA violence on the rise.
00:08:26.000 Did Donald Trump radicalize his supporters to burn down the offices?
00:08:31.000 And it's insanity.
00:08:32.000 And it really is, it's a regime that has to lie to you all the time about what's going on in the country.
00:08:39.000 They lie to you about how much crime there is.
00:08:42.000 They lie to you about who commits the crime.
00:08:45.000 They lie to you about all of this stuff.
00:08:46.000 And then you have to be paying enough attention to notice things like this and go, oh, wait a minute.
00:08:53.000 That doesn't work out.
00:08:54.000 That doesn't fit into the pattern.
00:08:56.000 But you feel sad because it's very easy if you're sort of very accepting or just don't pay as much attention to just go with it.
00:09:04.000 You have to really push back on that.
00:09:06.000 And it's becoming easier to push back on that, but it's definitely not automatic for a lot of people.
00:09:11.000 Andrew, what's your take on this?
00:09:13.000 We saw this happen a lot with the pro-life abortion deal.
00:09:16.000 What's your take on this?
00:09:17.000 No, I totally think it's a pattern if you connect the pro-life, you know, dozens and dozens.
00:09:24.000 I'm trying to get the number here.
00:09:25.000 I believe it was over 100 that they were investigating.
00:09:30.000 And there just seemed to be zero urgency from federal law enforcement.
00:09:35.000 Yeah, they put out eventually the FBI kind of got off their rears and started offering reward money, but it took the conservative social media basically pushing back on it a number of times.
00:09:46.000 And you see this, yes, with Antifa.
00:09:48.000 You saw this with the George Floyd, Floyd of Palooza riots, and then after Roe v. Wade.
00:09:54.000 And I think, Blake, you made a great point.
00:09:56.000 And they call it whataboutism.
00:09:57.000 But the reason they get mad when we do this is because it's just so clear every time.
00:10:03.000 If the shoe was on the other foot, all we would hear about is domestic violent extremists and MAGA conservatives.
00:10:09.000 And Biden would issue a press conference and say the number one threat in America is right-wing domestic violent extremists and white supremacy and all this stuff.
00:10:19.000 And it's like, well, hey, when it happens the other way, can we not at least get a little bit of anger, upset?
00:10:26.000 Can people not say, hey, this is wrong?
00:10:28.000 This is just wrong, plain wrong?
00:10:30.000 Doesn't matter who it happens to.
00:10:31.000 Could people stop lying to us?
00:10:33.000 Could people stop this hysterical, you know, we have this incipient white nationalist MAGA uprising militias.
00:10:42.000 Yeah, and Elon O'Mar, ABClomachar, I'm sure they were very quiet on this.
00:10:49.000 You might have to be moving boxes or just, it's tough, a lot of stress, and that means inflammation increases.

00:11:58.000 I want to play a piece of tape here.
00:12:00.000 President Trump over the weekend said changes are coming to the RNC.
00:12:04.000 And breaking news today, there is a resignation.
00:12:08.000 Mike Reed, is that right?
00:12:10.000 Mike Reed, who is the chief of staff to the RNC chair, is stepping down, is resigning.
00:12:10.000 Is that his name?
00:12:16.000 Play cut 32, please.
00:12:18.000 Ronna McDaniel doing?
00:12:20.000 I think she did great when she ran Michigan for me.
00:12:22.000 I think she did okay initially in the RNC.
00:12:25.000 I would say right now there'll probably be some changes made.
00:12:31.000 Probably be some changes made.
00:12:32.000 He also, President Trump said to Newsmax, it is time for Ronna McDaniel to step aside.
00:12:39.000 She knows and she understands that.
00:12:41.000 I actually haven't even heard this clip yet.
00:12:43.000 So once Ryan gets this.
00:12:44.000 Andrew, what is your take on this?
00:12:46.000 I mean, here's the thing.
00:12:49.000 We need to get our things in a row, our ducks in a row heading into November.
00:12:53.000 One of those things is regime change at the RNC.
00:12:55.000 But there's a long list of other stuff that needs to happen.
00:12:59.000 I am hopeful that this is finally sorting itself out.
00:13:03.000 I think what you said is really key, and that's that, you know, the base is going to get really excited when Rana steps aside, which all indications seem to indicate that she's going to.
00:13:12.000 But we have to remember that's just one of probably 100 things that follow after that that are critical to 2024.
00:13:19.000 So, you know, caution to the base, caution to the audience.
00:13:22.000 Don't, you know, yes, it's a good change.
00:13:24.000 It's great to hear that Donald Trump is signaling that change needs to happen.
00:13:28.000 But then we need to start fixating on, you know, who's going to replace her, who's going to be the co-chair.
00:13:34.000 Are these people going to represent the voice of the base?
00:13:37.000 And then at that point, you know, it's critical because the base has turned off the donations for the RNC.
00:13:43.000 So we want people in places of power that inspire the grassroots, that get small dollar donors back in place, and that really are willing to champion the get-out-the-vote efforts of Turning Point Action and other groups.
00:13:56.000 So, you know, you've been really consistent.
00:13:58.000 You've never made this a personal thing about Rana.
00:14:00.000 Rana's, I don't know her personally.
00:14:02.000 You do, but, you know, from everything I've heard, she's a very sweet, very kind person.
00:14:06.000 It's not about that.
00:14:06.000 It's about winning.
00:14:07.000 It's about getting over the finish line in 2024.
00:14:10.000 The country depends on it.
00:14:11.000 We need to restart the RNC.
00:14:15.000 We need the base, the voting conservatives out there across the fruited plane to realize they can trust the RNC again.
00:14:22.000 They can get back engaged and we can all unite and win.
00:14:25.000 Let's play this right here.
00:14:26.000 It's cut 33, Donald Trump on Newsmax.
00:14:28.000 Play cut 33.
00:14:30.000 Fundraising is an issue.
00:14:32.000 Hasn't been a good past couple election cycles at all.
00:14:35.000 2022 should have been far better than it was.
00:14:37.000 I think we can all agree on that.
00:14:39.000 Is it time for Ronna McDaniel to step aside?
00:14:41.000 Well, I think she knows that.
00:14:42.000 I think she understands that.
00:14:44.000 And, you know, as far as me is concerned, as far as I'm concerned, I endorsed almost 100% of the Republicans that I endorse win.
00:14:53.000 And in the midterms, out of 253 endorsements, I won 222 races.
00:14:59.000 And so he's signaling that Rana's going to go.
00:15:01.000 And so I think we now need to have a checklist of what is the RNC going to do on the most important priorities.
00:15:08.000 And that's always been our gripe, right, Blake?
00:15:10.000 Is it's not about personal.
00:15:11.000 And Politico wrote this article.
00:15:12.000 They said, oh, it's, you know, Turning Point is upset because Rana's too close to the establishment.
00:15:17.000 That's actually not our gripe.
00:15:18.000 We're upset that they have the same leadership after three elections in a row where we feel we left a lot of wins on the table.
00:15:25.000 Yes.
00:15:26.000 Adam Laxalt in Nevada, Herschel Walker in Georgia, things where marginal infrastructure could have made a big difference.
00:15:31.000 Yeah, it's just if, you know, if she were winning a ton and still close with the establishment, we could accept that.
00:15:36.000 If she were totally on our side in every way and maybe left something on the table, that would not be ideal, but we would at least sympathize more.
00:15:44.000 But it's the sense of being both that's really infuriating, but it's definitely the losing above all.
00:15:50.000 You had this great thing.
00:15:51.000 You said it would be, it's awful that the RNC both hates their voters and loses.
00:15:56.000 Yeah.
00:15:57.000 One of those things, you could keep your job.
00:16:00.000 At least, you know, if you win a bunch of races and you hate your voters, you know, I don't know why you're helping us so much.
00:16:06.000 Thanks.
00:16:06.000 Exactly.
00:16:07.000 Or you could respect your voters and lose a bunch of races, which we could talk about.
00:16:10.000 Like, okay.
00:16:11.000 But if you hate your voters and you also lose all the time, there's no excuse.
00:16:16.000 Yeah, it's just, what have you done for me?
00:16:18.000 Like, what is the case for keeping them around?
00:16:22.000 I would love to know it.
00:16:23.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com, our restoring national confidence summit in Vegas.
00:16:28.000 That made waves.
00:16:29.000 I'll tell you what.
00:16:30.000 That was only a week ago, and that drew a lot of attention and got a lot of people thinking about the RNC.
00:16:37.000 And it's really been a grassroots-driven thing.
00:16:38.000 You guys deserve all the credit.

00:16:52.000 And I think he knows that the current RNC leadership, he's a little bit worried about what they can or cannot do.

00:18:14.000 CitizenFreePress.com.
00:18:16.000 How you doing?
00:18:17.000 Doing well, Charlie.
00:18:19.000 Yeah, I have the same reaction to that song as you do.
00:18:22.000 I love it.
00:18:22.000 I can't believe that it fits.
00:18:25.000 So I'll take it.
00:18:26.000 Technically, they say his name is King, but it sounds like she's saying Kane.
00:18:30.000 So we're going to take it.
00:18:31.000 So it's citizenfreepress.com.
00:18:34.000 Kane, there's so much I want to talk to you about here.
00:18:36.000 And also, I just want to compliment you.
00:18:38.000 Your website is as hot as a pistol right now.
00:18:40.000 I mean, what are the page views?
00:18:41.000 Are you allowed to tell us?
00:18:41.000 You're one of the top websites on the planet.
00:18:44.000 Yeah, I can certainly tell you.
00:18:45.000 Yesterday we did 13.2 million page views.
00:18:50.000 I've explained it before.
00:18:51.000 We have a very rapid base, right?
00:18:53.000 The website loads extremely quickly.
00:18:55.000 There are no ads on it.
00:18:56.000 So it loads.
00:18:57.000 It's less than a megabyte.
00:18:58.000 It loads in half a second.
00:19:01.000 And so, yeah, we have about 500,000 people who visit about, you know, five or six times each and they click on multiple pages while they're there.
00:19:11.000 So that all adds up to 13 million.
00:19:14.000 And I'll say quickly, I've been watching Drudge's numbers.
00:19:17.000 They've continued to fall.
00:19:19.000 He's now sort of edging down towards 500 million in the last 30 days.
00:19:24.000 And we're at about 380 million in the last 30 days.
00:19:28.000 So we're getting close, you know?
00:19:30.000 Yeah.
00:19:33.000 So he's going down, but is, you know, is Matt Drudge still at the Drudge Report?
00:19:39.000 Yeah, that's the question, Citizen Kane.
00:19:41.000 Is he still the mastermind behind Drudge?
00:19:44.000 Well, I can actually provide a pretty definitive answer here.
00:19:48.000 And it's not an answer that people usually like to hear.
00:19:50.000 But yes, Matt Drudge is still running that site every single day.
00:19:54.000 And I know that for a fact because of, I can't really say the journalist's name, but there's a journalist who publishes in conservative media who sent me some screenshots that he had with emails with Matt.
00:20:06.000 And Matt, he asked Matt to publish a story by email.
00:20:10.000 And the next morning it was on Drudge Report.
00:20:13.000 So if he, you know, he has a couple of editors, but the evidence seems to show that Drudge is the Drudge is still there.
00:20:20.000 And, you know, look, he's still linking to some occasional conservative sites, some of his favorites.
00:20:26.000 He linked to Free Break, Free Beacon in the last week.
00:20:29.000 He linked to Briat Bart.
00:20:31.000 So I really believe that it's just Drudge turned against Donald Trump.
00:20:36.000 And then the rumors began that Drudge, you know, must no longer have anything to do with it.
00:20:42.000 But I really, but he does.
00:20:44.000 It's an incredible thing, Kane.
00:20:45.000 You're on pace.
00:20:46.000 I mean, this calendar year, this political cycle, you might surpass Drudge Report, which, I mean, in media blank, that is like that for non- When I was at the Daily Caller writing for them, a colossal amount of our traffic just was get your article on the Drudge Report.
00:21:06.000 It was, you would get an email in the work inbox whenever it happened because it was so important to traffic.
00:21:12.000 It was a make or break thing for the company, wasn't it?
00:21:14.000 Pretty much.
00:21:15.000 Yeah, Kane, and just, I mean, I'm here.
00:21:18.000 I want to talk about stuff, some new stuff, but Kane, you don't have an elaborate staff.
00:21:23.000 You're just a dude from the Midwest that started posting links.
00:21:26.000 I mean, it's unbelievable.
00:21:28.000 Yeah, it's astonishing.
00:21:29.000 And to what he just said, he's actually right.
00:21:32.000 And the numbers, though, have fallen for Drudge.
00:21:34.000 It used to be you could get 100,000 to 500,000, maybe even 600,000 clicks if you were on the Drudge Report.
00:21:42.000 And those numbers are falling.
00:21:43.000 I've heard that from multiple journalists who have had links on CFP and had links on Drudge that say that just his, you know, the click-through rate has really fallen.
00:21:52.000 Back to the point of me being in an office.
00:21:54.000 Yeah, there's no staff, Charlie.
00:21:56.000 You know, as well as anyone, I just worked 16 hours a day and do this till two or three o'clock in the morning every single day for seven years.
00:22:06.000 I think it's the only way I thought at the beginning that that was the only way to compete with Drudge was just to provide a lot more content.
00:22:13.000 And he's doing 50 or 60 links a day.
00:22:16.000 And we try to do 130 to 150.
00:22:19.000 So there's a heck of a lot more content on CFP.
00:22:21.000 Well, and just everyone who knows, people say, where do you get your news from?
00:22:24.000 I sit here during the show and Kane, you update it 10 or 12 times while I'm on the show, right?
00:22:30.000 I mean, and it is.
00:22:31.000 It is within minutes.
00:22:32.000 All right.
00:22:32.000 So with that, Kane, a couple of things I want to talk.
00:22:35.000 I want to talk about the border bill.
00:22:36.000 I want to talk about Trump and Haley, the lawfare stuff.
00:22:39.000 Let's talk about lawfare first.
00:22:41.000 Kane, you and I had this really important conversation.
00:22:44.000 I know you remember it about a year ago where, you know, it was like one o'clock in the morning and you said, Charlie, I'm just, I can't, I can't go to sleep because I just can't keep on thinking about how they're going to indict Donald Trump.
00:22:53.000 Kane, about a year later, it seems as if Trump has dodged and weaved some of the most pernicious lawfare attacks.
00:23:00.000 He's not out of the woods yet.
00:23:01.000 How do you analyze this, Kane?
00:23:03.000 Well, first, I want to add a little color to that.
00:23:06.000 You know, so it was actually 3 a.m. I was still awake working and I was thinking, now, who could possibly still be awake right now and would want to talk about this?
00:23:15.000 And I immediately thought of you because you're in a different time zone.
00:23:18.000 I thought maybe he's still awake at midnight.
00:23:20.000 So yeah, you and I have been have been game, you know, wargaming this for a while.
00:23:26.000 It's he has dodged and weaved.
00:23:29.000 You know, he's been very, very successful.
00:23:31.000 So let's sort of get to how that, you know, the DC appeals court decision plays into this dodging and weaving.
00:23:39.000 You know, I defer to Jonathan Turley on all of this stuff, and he's put out some important tweets, which I have in the stack at CFP, where he said that basically, okay, we know the DC appeals court put a February 12th deadline.
00:23:52.000 I'm sure you saw that.
00:23:53.000 They're basically trying to speed things along.
00:23:55.000 They said we will stay our decision until February 12th to allow Trump. to appeal this to the Supreme Court.
00:24:02.000 The reason they're doing that is they're trying to expedite it because according to Jonathan Turley, Trump actually has 45 days from the day of the ruling to request an on-bonk hearing from the DC appeals court.
00:24:17.000 So to quickly explain to people, today's ruling was from three judges on the DC appeals court.
00:24:24.000 The full DC appeal, Trump can request that the full court make a ruling.
00:24:29.000 So he has 45 days that he can delay before asking for that.
00:24:33.000 Then it's likely we don't know how long it would take the full court to decide, but they would probably decide against him.
00:24:41.000 And then, according to Jonathan Turley, Trump has another 90 days before he has to appeal it to the Supreme Court.
00:24:48.000 So according to Turley, Trump has 135 days from today unless Jack Smith is able to expedite it.
00:24:58.000 And that's where things get a little bit complicated.
00:25:01.000 But, you know, so I'll sort of leave that one to the side.
00:25:03.000 So in other words, Trump has 145 days, excuse me, 135 days that he can delay it.
00:25:10.000 And then the trial would just sort of begin again in terms of the motions.
00:25:15.000 So according to Turley, Trump, after that 135 days, would have a couple of months pre-trial.
00:25:22.000 So he thinks that Trump will be able to sort of push this into that August, September zone, which would be within 90 days of the election and would violate DOJ policy.
00:25:33.000 So I'll throw it back to you with that.
00:25:35.000 That's the hope.
00:25:36.000 Blake, we say DOJ policy, but there's been a lot of traditions, norms, policies that have been thrown out because Trump has driven people so insane.
00:25:46.000 In the past, it would have been unthinkable to bring what is at minimum a novel criminal charge against Trump.
00:25:53.000 One thing with maybe Mar-a-Lago or something, but with this January 6th stuff, it's a completely untested theory.
00:26:00.000 No one's ever been prosecuted for this sort of thing.
00:26:03.000 They're demanding a change in how we interpret First Amendment jurisprudence.
00:26:08.000 And so they're throwing all that out.
00:26:09.000 And then we're falling back on, well, if we get two months out from election day, he wouldn't want to prosecute so close to the election.
00:26:16.000 But what if Jack Smith just does that too?
00:26:18.000 He's like, yeah, I'm going to have Donald Trump on the docket, you know, on defending himself on trial as people go to the polls.
00:26:26.000 Kane, Charlie, can I respond?
00:26:28.000 Yeah, chime in.
00:26:29.000 Can I respond to Blake really quick?
00:26:31.000 Yeah.
00:26:31.000 Yeah, respond to Blake really quick.
00:26:32.000 He makes a really good point.
00:26:34.000 And let's not forget there's one more angle to this, which is the obstruction of an official proceeding.
00:26:40.000 As we know, the Supreme Court agreed to take up that case, which affects over 300 J6 defendants and also affects two of the four charges against Trump being brought by Jack Smith.
00:26:51.000 So I've read Turley's analysis of this and others.
00:26:54.000 They're saying that we shouldn't expect a Supreme Court decision on that obstruction charge until June.
00:27:02.000 So that's another avenue that the Trump team has to delay this because they can say, look, Judge Chutkin, two of the four charges being brought against us are very possibly going to be tossed out by the Supreme Court here in June.
00:27:15.000 So let's not waste time doing motions on these charges that won't even be in there.
00:27:19.000 So that's another angle I wanted to add.
00:27:21.000 Yeah, that's so Kane, just if your best guess, and you are so clairvoyant on these things.
00:27:29.000 No, I mean that.
00:27:31.000 How is this going to play out?
00:27:32.000 Is Trump going to be a convicted felon before election day?
00:27:36.000 I'm going to say no, okay?
00:27:38.000 And that's taking into account all the different trials.
00:27:41.000 I'm going to say that Fannie Willis will be, I'm going to go ahead and predict that she is going to be removed because Georgia has a very, very tough conflict of interest law.
00:27:52.000 So as she has already made public last week, if her prosecute prosecuting team is removed from the Fulton County case, that will delay that trial three or four months.
00:28:03.000 So that pushes that one after the election.
00:28:05.000 Then we've got, you know, this.
00:28:08.000 So no, I'm going to say Trump won't, but I'll say this.
00:28:11.000 If they do convict him, if they're, if Trump goes to prison or it is, well, he won't because he'll stay out on appeal, but it's going to be a Nelson Mandela effect.
00:28:22.000 I'm convinced after watching for six months how Trump's numbers have risen with each indictment.
00:28:28.000 I'm convinced that if they did the ultimate step and convicted him and were waiting for sentencing, I think that would probably help him with independence.
00:28:38.000 Yeah, I think the Nelson Mandela effect is super interesting.
00:28:42.000 Riff on that 30 seconds, Blake.
00:28:44.000 We do see some evidence of that, that it makes him a more sympathetic political figure.
00:28:47.000 It really does.
00:28:48.000 Like we said, he's anti-fragile.
00:28:50.000 He is stronger.
00:28:51.000 The more he stands up to every force that goes against him, it makes him seem like it's Trump against the world.
00:28:56.000 Yeah, very few people are like that, by the way.
00:28:59.000 Very few people are able to use, are able to use opposition, use force that is applied, and it actually strengthens the fibers of their political or cultural power.
00:29:14.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:30:09.000 He's a terrific person.
00:30:10.000 Go to mypillow.com, promo code Kirk.
00:30:16.000 Do you have a thought, Blake?
00:30:18.000 So the Trump-Biden thing, it's so funny to me that I've, you know, I've been hearing some reports from people who've talked with lawmakers in D.C. and similar reports.
00:30:27.000 It's always framed like the DNC, like there's some sort of central council that will take action on this.
00:30:35.000 And everything I'm hearing is just, it's chaotic.
00:30:37.000 Everyone's hoping someone else will make Trump go away for them.
00:30:41.000 And so the thing about replacing Biden is, well, Biden actually is the one in charge.
00:30:45.000 Biden says he's running.
00:30:47.000 Biden has said he's sticking it out the whole way.
00:30:49.000 He thinks he's the only one who can beat him.
00:30:51.000 So there's some breaking news.
00:30:52.000 I tend to agree with Blake.
00:30:53.000 I think that Biden, they're going to ride, and I think that's the way it is.
00:30:57.000 All right, Kane, some breaking news.
00:30:59.000 Tucker Carlson confirms he's interviewing Putin while he's interviewing, and he went to Russia for the food.
00:31:05.000 I'm kidding.
00:31:06.000 Click at 35.
00:31:08.000 We're in Moscow tonight.
00:31:09.000 We're here to interview the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
00:31:12.000 We'll be doing that soon.
00:31:14.000 There are risks to conducting an interview like this, obviously.
00:31:18.000 So we've thought about it carefully over many months.
00:31:21.000 Here's why we're doing it.
00:31:22.000 First, because it's our job.
00:31:24.000 We're in journalism.
00:31:25.000 Our duty is to inform people.
00:31:28.000 Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed.
00:31:34.000 They have no real idea what's happening in this region here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine.
00:31:41.000 But they should know.
00:31:42.000 They're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully yet perceive.
00:31:47.000 All right, Kane, I want your thoughts here.
00:31:49.000 Now, this is, it's going to be interesting.
00:31:52.000 If you kind of go through the list of the most watched interviews in the history of television, there's the Michael Jackson Oprah Winfrey had 90 million views.
00:32:02.000 Monica Lewinsky and Barbara Walters, 70 million views.
00:32:06.000 I don't want to get ahead of myself, Kane.
00:32:08.000 I think that the Tucker Putin interview might be the most watched interview in the history of the species.
00:32:12.000 Yeah, that's a proclamation there.
00:32:14.000 It's probably, you know, given the reach that Tucker has on Twitter, I don't think that is, I think that's probably a smart bet.
00:32:23.000 It's astonishing, you know, the pages, the rumor pages have been going crazy these last two days following Tucker around Russia and Moscow citizens have been excited and I'm looking forward to it.
00:32:38.000 The last one I can remember, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember Megan Kelly going to Moscow to interview Putin since I launched the site.
00:32:47.000 So somewhere around 2019, 2020.
00:32:50.000 But I don't think anyone else has been there since then.
00:32:52.000 Yeah, and it's going to melt the internet.
00:32:55.000 Blake, you worked for Tucker.
00:32:56.000 What's your thoughts on this?
00:32:58.000 Like I said, it's something he was interested in for a long time.
00:33:01.000 I think he's Tucker is very genuinely interested in different countries and how they can do things differently from the U.S.
00:33:08.000 He was in El Salvador before they had Bukele when it was just the MS-13 was still running the place.
00:33:14.000 He's spoken with him since then.
00:33:15.000 He's been very interested in that.
00:33:17.000 He went to Hungary or I think around 2020, 2021.
00:33:20.000 He talks, he went to Brazil with Fox.
00:33:22.000 Yeah, went to Brazil.
00:33:23.000 He's always, you know, loved the idea that countries can do their own thing and we can look to other countries for ideas on how to do it.
00:33:31.000 It's kind of so funny that the idea is conservatives are closed-minded or they're very focused on their own country that, you know, in compared to globalists who take in the whole expanse of humanity.
00:33:43.000 But it really is that nationalists look to other nations for ideas and globalists are the ones who say like, oh, don't, don't look abroad.
00:33:50.000 Don't talk to anyone.
00:33:52.000 Kane, any final thoughts on this as we wrap up?
00:33:54.000 Yeah, I thought that was a great point by Blake.
00:33:58.000 It's, you know, Tucker, if I'm older than both you guys, you know, I've been watching Tucker since CrossFire on CNN, I don't know, 25 years ago.
00:34:07.000 The guy has always been sort of on a thirst for knowledge.
00:34:13.000 And he has, you know, his views are not typical.
00:34:18.000 Tucker holds views that have often been outside the mainstream, even of conservative thought.
00:34:24.000 So I applaud him for going.
00:34:26.000 I'm going to promote the heck out of that interview.
00:34:29.000 And I look forward to hearing what Putin has to say.
00:34:32.000 There's a lot that's been hidden from us, especially about how this war could have been avoided.
00:34:39.000 And hopefully Putin gets into that.
00:34:42.000 And it was really, I mean, I don't want to get too deep in the weeds here, but it was all about the threat of NATO taking, you know, taking in Ukraine.
00:34:51.000 And that wasn't on his doorstep.
00:34:54.000 That was something that Putin wouldn't stand for, just like we wouldn't stand for Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba, 90 miles from our shores.
00:35:01.000 So I really, really am looking forward to that interview.
00:35:04.000 And I'll throw it back to you with that.
00:35:06.000 Right.
00:35:07.000 And if this leads to a ceasefire, it will end up being one of the most important interviews because this war has got to end.
00:35:13.000 Just think about it.
00:35:14.000 Blake, Andrew, Kane, thank you guys very much.
