00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody, today on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:00:01.000 Was the Will Smith slap fake?
00:00:04.000 I say yes.
00:00:05.000 And listen to my take as to why.
00:00:07.000 Why is a teacher at Bingmanton University only calling on non-white students?
00:00:13.000 This is a trend that is spreading across the country.
00:00:15.000 And a shocking revelation from a news executive who basically said the government was telling news agencies what they could and could not say about the Chinese Fauci coronavirus.
00:00:26.000 Email me your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:00:28.000 I love hearing from you.
00:00:29.000 I met an amazing listener this weekend at an event we had at Turning Point USA from Long Island.
00:00:34.000 She was really special.
00:00:35.000 So I just love hearing from you.
00:00:36.000 I love staying in contact with you guys.

00:01:24.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:01:25.000 Here we go.
00:01:27.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:29.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:31.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:34.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:37.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:38.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:39.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:48.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:57.000 That's why we are here.
00:02:00.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:02:09.000 It's time for us to weigh in on what is being called the top news story of the weekend.
00:02:15.000 It's not Joe Biden getting us closer to nuclear war.
00:02:18.000 It's not inflation.
00:02:19.000 It's not the Russian forces marching into Ukraine.
00:02:22.000 No, no, no, no.
00:02:23.000 It's Will Smith going up to Chris Rock and allegedly slapping him and causing all of this pandemonium.
00:02:33.000 Now, the moment I saw the clip, just so you know, my first instinct was that this was fake.
00:02:39.000 Like, there's no way this is real.
00:02:42.000 These people are all narcissists and sociopaths, and they just want attention.
00:02:48.000 And they're, I mean, they're celebrities.
00:02:50.000 That's what they do.
00:02:50.000 And they're actors.
00:02:52.000 So let's just start with that.
00:02:53.000 These are actors.
00:02:55.000 So they're used to pretending to do something that isn't real.
00:03:00.000 Now, there's a mixed opinion here, and I'm definitely in the minority of the opinion where I think the whole thing is fake.
00:03:06.000 I think it's all staged.
00:03:07.000 And I'm going to tell you why.
00:03:08.000 Now, for those of you that don't know what happened, Will Smith, who is like an AAA listed, AAA listed actor, whether you like him or not.
00:03:17.000 I'm not a big Will Smith fan.
00:03:18.000 I used to be, but he's become super political and kind of weird lately.
00:03:21.000 But he's definitely very popular, has a lot of talent.
00:03:24.000 He's done some phenomenal performances before.
00:03:27.000 Chris Rock, I'm actually a big Chris Rock fan.
00:03:29.000 I think he goes against political correctness, and I just think he's hilarious.
00:03:34.000 So Will Smith was up for best actor and ended up winning best actor last evening.
00:03:40.000 And so Chris Rock is kind of doing the typical Oscar thing.
00:03:43.000 By the way, Oscar ratings were down.
00:03:44.000 Oscar viewers are.
00:03:45.000 I didn't even know the Oscars were on.
00:03:46.000 I wouldn't have watched it even if I knew it was on.
00:03:48.000 I used to watch the Oscars way back when, before they became totally woke and just completely deranged.
00:03:54.000 So Chris Rock started to make jokes about Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
00:04:03.000 But first, you know, Will Smith received jokes about how the fact that Will Smith has an open marriage with Jada Pinkett Smith and seemed unmoved by this.
00:04:11.000 Regina Hall made that joke, Play Cut 7.
00:04:14.000 Will Smith, you're married, but you know what?
00:04:18.000 You're on the list.
00:04:19.000 And it looks like Jada approved you, so you get on up here.
00:04:23.000 Get on up here.
00:04:25.000 Seemed perfectly fine with that.
00:04:26.000 But then this is the full clip.
00:04:28.000 I want you to watch this carefully.
00:04:30.000 We're going to dissect this like the Zapruder film.
00:04:32.000 If you don't know what the Zapruder film, that was the film that finally you saw the shooter or the shot come that made JFK's head go back into the left.
00:04:45.000 So this clip is bleeped out for all the swear words.
00:04:48.000 And this is Will Smith coming out of the crowd.
00:04:50.000 Mind you, no security, no cops.
00:04:53.000 Will Smith weirdly kind of like does a pivot U-turn afterwards after he slaps Chris Rock?
00:04:59.000 He doesn't like look at Chris Rock and tell him like you better stop that.
00:05:04.000 No, it's just kind of like a slap, a U-turn, and a move.
00:05:07.000 That's weird.
00:05:08.000 For anyone that's actually done a confrontation before, that's not exactly how it usually goes.
00:05:13.000 Usually your adrenaline is pumping so heavily, you don't just kind of slap and turn away and walk properly in perfect form back to your seat.
00:05:21.000 Okay, full clip.
00:05:23.000 Keep my mic open.
00:05:24.000 Play cut 14.
00:05:26.000 Y'all got to see it.
00:05:26.000 It's really good.
00:05:27.000 You know who's got the hardest job tonight?
00:05:30.000 Javier Bardim and his wife are both nominated.
00:05:35.000 Now, if she loses, he can't win.
00:05:41.000 He is praying that Will Smith wins.
00:05:44.000 Like, please, Lord.
00:05:48.000 Jada, I love you.
00:05:49.000 G.I. Jane 2, can't wait to see it.
00:05:51.000 All right?
00:05:58.000 It's Jeff.
00:05:59.000 That was a nice one.
00:06:00.000 Okay.
00:06:01.000 I'm out here.
00:06:02.000 You see, Will Smith laughs at first there.
00:06:04.000 He weirdly laughed.
00:06:06.000 And then Will Smith starts to walk up.
00:06:08.000 And then that looks...
00:06:09.000 Wow.
00:06:11.000 Now stop there.
00:06:12.000 Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me.
00:06:14.000 But then Chris Rock says, wow, wow, as soon as he got hit, it's really weird.
00:06:20.000 Stage.
00:06:21.000 And then Will Smith just starts screaming and says, I'm going to, okay?
00:06:33.000 Now, that part didn't look as stage when he says, I'm going to.
00:06:37.000 But the whole thing's really bizarre.
00:06:39.000 No security, no buffer zone.
00:06:41.000 Almost like Chris Rock was expecting it.
00:06:44.000 Now, if this wasn't the Oscars, then I would say, well, you know, these people wouldn't be able to pull off an acting job like that.
00:06:50.000 But the Oscars, the ratings are record low.
00:06:53.000 They're more irrelevant than ever.
00:06:55.000 So let's just watch just the slap, play cut 16.
00:06:58.000 I'm going to narrate this.
00:06:59.000 Let's play cut 16.
00:07:01.000 I'm out here.
00:07:02.000 Hello, Richard.
00:07:04.000 Look, just walking up casually and then turns around as if nothing's wrong.
00:07:12.000 That's so, who does that?
00:07:13.000 As if he's just kind of like picking up a bag of groceries.
00:07:17.000 Like, there, you turn, turn around.
00:07:19.000 What?
00:07:19.000 Really?
00:07:21.000 Kind of like turning off a light.
00:07:23.000 Doesn't say anything to him.
00:07:27.000 My suspicious radar is off the charts.
00:07:29.000 Let me just say that much.
00:07:30.000 Doesn't make any sense.
00:07:33.000 Now, of course, Will Smith has said that he has an open marriage with Jada Pink and Smith.
00:07:38.000 Whatever.
00:07:39.000 I mean, I guess that's normal in Hollywood.
00:07:44.000 I'm not even getting into that.
00:07:46.000 And then Will Smith starts yelling at him.
00:07:48.000 So what's the takeaway point here?
00:07:50.000 Well, look, it's not as if we're immune to actors faking things.
00:07:56.000 Jussie Smollett, of course, a couple years ago in Chicago.
00:08:02.000 It's Will Smith, the Jussie Smollett of the Oscars with Chris Rock.
00:08:07.000 I don't know.
00:08:08.000 I think there's something deeper than what we're being told here.
00:08:12.000 Now, if he would have stayed on stage, they possibly would have removed him from the Oscars and he wouldn't have been able to get the award.
00:08:20.000 Just going up and slapping the host, and not punching, by the way, but slapping the host.
00:08:26.000 What's the point of that if you're actually trying to take a stand for your wife?
00:08:32.000 Because at first he laughs.
00:08:34.000 He's like kind of chuckling and laughing at the entire thing.
00:08:37.000 And also the open hand.
00:08:39.000 WWE actors usually do that.
00:08:42.000 They usually have an open hand.
00:08:43.000 And by the way, only one hit.
00:08:45.000 And Chris Rock seemed like overly dramatic in the way that he moved his head, don't you think?
00:08:49.000 Like overly dramatic the way he went there.
00:08:51.000 Kind of similar to the Z Bruder film back and to the right.
00:08:57.000 We may never know the truth, but I don't trust these people.
00:09:00.000 And you don't either.
00:09:01.000 Or you shouldn't.
00:09:03.000 They are actors.
00:09:05.000 So the consequence, the relevance of this is pretty insignificant.
00:09:10.000 The Oscar ratings are so low that they had to fake a violent attack on live TV between Will Smith and Chris Rock.
00:09:18.000 I think that's right.
00:09:20.000 It's pure pro wrestling.
00:09:22.000 I love your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:09:25.000 Do you think that was legit after seeing all those tapes?
00:09:27.000 And so then Will Smith starts by laughing.
00:09:29.000 And then the fact he was front row, that's normal.
00:09:31.000 He was up for an Academy Award.
00:09:33.000 But I remember in Oscar years past, there used to be like a band.
00:09:36.000 Underneath, it was really hard to kind of get up there.
00:09:38.000 It seemed awfully accessible and no one was blocking it and there was no security and there was no anything to get through.
00:09:48.000 And then Chris Rock isn't pressing charges.
00:09:51.000 And then Chris Rock, after getting hit, said, oh, I just got hit.
00:09:54.000 Yeah, we know that.
00:09:58.000 And then why didn't Chris Rock respond in kind of like, what are you doing?
00:10:02.000 Like, what is this?
00:10:03.000 In fact, almost like if he was expecting it.
00:10:05.000 A lot of circumstantial mystery around this.
00:10:08.000 It seemed too clean, too quick, too scripted.
00:10:12.000 In fact, Chris Rock's performance of that might actually warrant him an Oscar.
00:10:20.000 It could be real, of course, obviously.
00:10:23.000 But tell me what you think.
00:10:24.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.
00:10:28.000 How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
00:10:30.000 Producer Andrews right here doing an Iron Man thanks to Relief Factor.
00:10:33.000 And truth is, I know there are millions of people.
00:10:35.000 In fact, some say over 100 million people struggling with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise or just getting older.
00:10:40.000 That can do it, getting older, which is why I'm so impressed with the people at relieffactor.com.
00:10:45.000 They are on a mission.
00:10:46.000 You rarely see this kind of focus and commitment.
00:10:48.000 They recently shared with me that they are doubling down and want to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year.

00:11:19.000 That's relieffactor.com.

00:11:24.000 Just when you think Joe Biden can't be in a worse position.
00:11:27.000 A new poll comes out from NBC News.
00:11:30.000 Biden's job approval rating has declined to 40%.
00:11:35.000 71% of respondents expressed low confidence in his ability to deal with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
00:11:43.000 The 538 average, which is the average coming into the midterms, only shows Republicans widening their gap heading into November.
00:11:56.000 Gas prices, inflation, the porous southern border, the kind of pompous, elitist tone from the top levels of the regime is only playing into what is going to be hopefully a red wave coming into November.
00:12:14.000 How is Kamala Harris addressing gas prices?
00:12:17.000 Play cut 12.
00:12:18.000 Well, first of all, we've been, you know, understanding that it is a real issue.
00:12:26.000 What we have done is we've actually released some of the reserves, the petroleum reserve, to bring down the cost of gas prices.
00:12:36.000 And we are also dealing with the cost of gas as just part of the issue of the cost of living, right?
00:12:42.000 And cut four is the news report on Joe Biden's polling, play cut four.
00:12:49.000 And long term, since the start of his presidency, 2021, this number, the approval of Joe Biden on the economy, has just ticked down and down and down.
00:12:58.000 This is a new low for him on the economy.
00:13:01.000 33, 63, ask voters, sort of an open-ended question here.
00:13:05.000 What do you think the most important issue facing the country is?
00:13:08.000 And there you can see the top two now: cost of living, jobs in the economy.
00:13:13.000 Russia-Ukraine war, obviously capturing everybody's attention right now, but it's the cost of living, it's jobs.
00:13:20.000 Now, cost of living in Phoenix has gone up 20% plus this last year, 20% plus in just Phoenix alone.
00:13:29.000 Now, Joe Biden's response to this, obviously he was in Europe trying to beat the drums of war, trying to get us into a conflict of epic proportions by outwardly calling for regime change in Russia.
00:13:45.000 But what should the Republican response to this be?
00:13:49.000 Well, Republicans are in a great spot.
00:13:51.000 Unfortunately, redistricting did not go the way that we would have liked.
00:13:55.000 Redistricting in many states was actually subpar.
00:13:58.000 Democrats played to win when Republicans just kind of sat on their hands.
00:14:01.000 The maps were nowhere nearly as good as we would hope them to be.
00:14:06.000 Florida is the last state.
00:14:08.000 The maps in Florida have yet to be decided where Ron DeSantis really needs to hold the line in Florida to get some decent maps.
00:14:15.000 You might say, Charlie, what do you mean maps?
00:14:16.000 Every 10 years, there's a census done.
00:14:19.000 And based on the results of the census, every state is legally required to redraw their congressional districts.
00:14:27.000 Those congressional districts are drawn by the state House and the state Senate and then approved by the governor.
00:14:34.000 They could be sued and challenged in court.
00:14:36.000 Every state has a different way of doing their maps.
00:14:39.000 Ron DeSantis released a map that would show 18 Republicans and 10 Democrats.
00:14:44.000 It'd be a pickup about three to four seats, which would be a massive win.
00:14:48.000 There's about 27 swing districts across the country, 27 swing districts, House districts.
00:14:56.000 And then, of course, there are some very important Senate races.
00:15:02.000 Nevada, where Cortez Mastro, the current Senator Nevada, is in a very difficult spot, down 10 points to Adam Laxalt and the generic Republican in Nevada.
00:15:13.000 Mark Kelly, who is underwater in the state of Arizona.
00:15:17.000 Raphael Warnock, who's underwater in the state of Georgia as well.
00:15:22.000 New Hampshire is a potential pickup.
00:15:24.000 Now, in addition, Republicans need to hold on to Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
00:15:30.000 The great Ron Johnson in Wisconsin has a very, very difficult race coming up, and Ohio as well.
00:15:36.000 Ohio is going to be fine, but Tim Ryan's going to be a formidable candidate in Ohio.
00:15:40.000 He really will.
00:15:41.000 But the generic ballot is trending and favoring Republicans.
00:15:44.000 And here's my message for Republicans: you need to metaphorically go for the kill.
00:15:49.000 I say metaphorically.
00:15:51.000 You do not, you should not play not to lose.
00:15:55.000 No more prevent defense.
00:15:57.000 Tell voters what you stand for.
00:15:59.000 Tell them what you're going to do.
00:16:00.000 Tell them the people you are going to investigate and cast a vision.
00:16:05.000 Cast a vision of what voters are voting for.
00:16:09.000 The uplifting, positive message of a renewal of America, of empowering entrepreneurs, of restraining government, of reigniting the human spirit of ingenuity and creativity, of protecting our borders, not getting us into reckless wars, reigniting the American energy entrepreneur.
00:16:32.000 I want to hear Republicans talk like that more because I'm afraid right now Republicans are playing prevent defense.
00:16:38.000 Oh, we're up 40 to 14.
00:16:40.000 Well, I'll tell you about UCLA and Texas AM back in 2017.
00:16:46.000 Look, did you get hit with a big tax spill you were not expecting with rates still being very low and home equity being high?
00:16:52.000 It's the perfect time to refinance and get some cash out of your home.
00:16:56.000 Look, you could go to one of these woke banks, Citibank, Chase, where they hate you, they hate the country, and they hate Christianity.
00:17:03.000 Or you could refinance right now all of your mortgage needs with my friends.
00:17:08.000 Guess what?
00:17:08.000 It's so easy to remember the website, andrewandTodd.com.
00:17:11.000 Just write it down, andrewandTodd.com.
00:17:13.000 They're with Sierra Pacific Mortgage.

00:17:53.000 That's AndrewandTodd.com.
00:17:57.000 All of us have been in class where you want to ask a question.
00:18:01.000 You raise your hand.
00:18:02.000 You say, I have a question.
00:18:05.000 So teachers have a decision to make of who to call on.
00:18:08.000 Sometimes it's the most eager.
00:18:09.000 Sometimes they force questions out of students that are in the class, students that haven't asked a question in a while or they seem uninterested or disinterested.
00:18:18.000 It's a way to maybe re-engage them, to re-excite them about the topic or whatever they might be talking about.
00:18:26.000 Questions are a great way to engage in dialogue in the Socratic method.
00:18:30.000 Questions is how you pursue what is true.
00:18:35.000 Now, when a teacher or a professor is deciding who to call on, hopefully they will be doing so in a way that is fair and that allows students an equal participation or an equal opportunity to participate.
00:18:51.000 But not this teacher, Professor Ana Maria Candela, is a professor of sociology, that gives it away, at Bingmanton University.
00:19:02.000 She has a policy where, quote, she says this, she wrote it.
00:19:07.000 It's not like it's a mystery.
00:19:10.000 She wrote that, quote, if you are white male or someone privileged by the racial and gender structures of our society to have your voice easily voiced and heard, we will often ask that you hold off on your questions or comments to give others a priority and we'll come back to you a bit later or at another time.
00:19:30.000 Quote, our experience with this practice is that within little time, those who feel most privileged to speak begin to take the initiative to take to hold space for others who feel less comfortable speaking first.
00:19:44.000 As you can imagine, has been tremendous benefits for our society as a whole when we learn to hold space and listen to others whose voices are typically discarded in silence.
00:19:53.000 So, according to Professor Ana Maria Candela from Bingmanton University, she says white people need to wait their turn and go to the back of the line, even if they might have a pressing, wise, or important question.
00:20:13.000 What's amazing about this story?
00:20:14.000 So, the university comes out and they say it's a violation of their school rules.
00:20:18.000 Otherwise, they would be investigated by the Department of Education, hopefully, for a violation of the Civil Rights Act.
00:20:18.000 Good for them.
00:20:24.000 But what's incredible is that the other professors rally behind her saying she's doing the right thing.
00:20:34.000 Ithaca New York.
00:20:35.000 Some students and professors at Bingminton University held a rally last week in support of sociology professor Ana Maria Candela, who came under fire recently for an affirmative action policy on her syllabus.
00:20:49.000 About 100 people gathered under the clock tower at Bingminton University for the rally on Friday.
00:20:53.000 One person held a sign that said, kick racism out of Bing.
00:20:57.000 Wait a second.
00:20:58.000 So you kick racism out of Bing by being racist to white people.
00:21:02.000 Well, that's what Ibram X. Kendi has said.
00:21:04.000 That is the policy of CRT.
00:21:07.000 The world that you are entering into, that your children are going to be raised into, is racism to get rid of racism.
00:21:16.000 Another sign, using an expletive, criticized the university's lack of respect for academic freedom.
00:21:22.000 You hear that?
00:21:23.000 So now all of a sudden they're really big on free speech if professors want to discriminate against white people.
00:21:28.000 Discrimination is wrong against white people.
00:21:31.000 It's wrong against black people.
00:21:32.000 Discrimination is evil because you are putting a preference on things people cannot change instead of things people can change.
00:21:40.000 It's a very basic moral principle.
00:21:42.000 The West was built, America was built based on this idea that we want to put preference on things you can change.
00:21:50.000 How hard you can work, what you study, what your output is, how early you wake up, your character.
00:21:57.000 These are things you can work on.
00:21:58.000 These are things you can change.
00:22:00.000 You cannot change your skin color.
00:22:04.000 With progressive stacking, less privileged students, like women and people of color, may get priority to speak during class discussions.
00:22:12.000 She says, quote, but those with more privilege, like white students or men, may not always get a chance to speak right away with this new policy.
00:22:20.000 This is actually a rebuttal to it.
00:22:23.000 That was a problem for one student, a white male by the name of Sean Harrigan.
00:22:27.000 He was worried his participation grade would suffer.
00:22:30.000 This is a great point.
00:22:32.000 It's a great point because you get judged based on your participation in the classroom, but Professor Candela says, no, no, if you're a white person, that doesn't matter.
00:22:42.000 You're privileged.
00:22:43.000 If you get a C or a D in class, you'll be fine because you're a white person.
00:22:49.000 Harrigan also told the Post he filed a Title IX complaint against Candela for what he said was discrimination on the basis of sex.
00:22:57.000 In a statement, Bingminton University said Candela had violated policies laid out in the faculty handbook, but still over 100 faculty members are uniting and consolidating around her.
00:23:11.000 They are saying she's doing the right thing.
00:23:14.000 Now, this shouldn't come as any surprise.
00:23:16.000 United Airlines says they want half of their new pilots to be hired by half their new pilots to be non-white pilots.
00:23:26.000 Capital Street Advisors, same thing.
00:23:30.000 This is all happening at Bingmanton University up in New York, but it's spreading all across the country.
00:23:35.000 What happens on college campuses does not stay on college campuses.
00:23:40.000 Goes into the corporate boardrooms, goes into the halls of Congress.
00:23:44.000 It continues to grow.
00:23:47.000 Okay, cut eight.
00:23:48.000 I want to get shift gears here about how we process information in the West.
00:23:53.000 I want you to listen to this tape here of a former news executive revealing the government came forward and warned networks to air COVID propaganda.
00:24:05.000 I remember where I was two years ago.
00:24:07.000 In fact, two years ago was one of the most frustrating news cycles ever.
00:24:13.000 We went from one mass-induced trauma hysteria to the other, one after the other.
00:24:20.000 We started with the Chinese coronavirus lockdowns and then went straight into the Floyd situation in the summer of 2020.
00:24:30.000 Now, I remember watching the news.
00:24:32.000 I remember just being quarantined in Arizona for six weeks.
00:24:34.000 That part was actually really nice.
00:24:36.000 I rode my bike every day.
00:24:38.000 I was able to get out.
00:24:40.000 No one was in the office.
00:24:42.000 We actually weren't even doing a daily.
00:24:43.000 I think we started to do a daily show during the lockdowns.
00:24:46.000 We were only doing it a couple of times a week.
00:24:49.000 So I was able to relax for six weeks, most relaxed I've ever been.
00:24:53.000 And we actually got a lot done.
00:24:54.000 It's where we kind of formulated the idea of the radio program.
00:24:57.000 And we were totally against lockdowns, by the way, even though I kind of enjoyed it for six weeks, totally against the idea of lockdowns.
00:25:04.000 And so I want you to listen to this.
00:25:05.000 This is a news executive saying that the government approached news networks, telling them they had to air very specific propaganda related to COVID.
00:25:21.000 Play cut eight.
00:25:22.000 So can you just start by explaining this chilling warning that Ofcom gave near the start of the pandemic and how you think that may have impacted the coverage?
00:25:33.000 Well, I definitely think it impacted.
00:25:36.000 It's not so much an Ofcom regulation.
00:25:38.000 It was advice or a warning, actually.
00:25:40.000 It's like a little bulletin.
00:25:42.000 It was a warning to basically say do not question the official government line.
00:25:49.000 Now, to be fair to them, they said you can have opposition voices on, but presenters must intervene if there's any danger of harmful or misinformation.
00:26:00.000 Now, we have a couple other tapes here that we're going to dive into.
00:26:02.000 This is exactly why you must support independent media.
00:26:05.000 This is why talk radio is so important to support, why our podcast is important to get behind, not just ours, but in our genre, let's say.
00:26:13.000 This guy, Sky News, formerly BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation, is saying that news companies in Britain and all across the West received formal written warnings saying, you better not question the party line.
00:26:27.000 That's pravda.
00:26:29.000 This is where I laugh when some people say, well, Charlie, Vladimir Putin is so terrible.
00:26:33.000 He controls the media of Russia.
00:26:35.000 And I say, I agree.
00:26:36.000 Controlling the media is a terrible thing, which is precisely what our media has become.
00:26:42.000 Our media have become megaphones.
00:26:44.000 They've become amplifiers.
00:26:46.000 They have become lockstock and barrel of whatever the regime wants them to say.
00:26:51.000 So this is a former news executive who reveals the government came in and intimidated, basically pseudo-blackmailed these companies.
00:26:59.000 Now, you might remember that as part of the COVID stimulus bill, it was tons of money to go to national public radio.
00:27:06.000 It was tons of money to go to all these news outlets.
00:27:09.000 We didn't receive any of that money.
00:27:11.000 We're independent.
00:27:11.000 Of course not.
00:27:12.000 We say whatever we want.
00:27:14.000 And then you combine all of that with the nonstop Pfizer advertisements.
00:27:18.000 By the way, did you know the Oscars was brought to you by Pfizer yesterday and BioInTech?
00:27:21.000 It's true.
00:27:22.000 Big advertisement.
00:27:23.000 The Oscars are brought to you by Pfizer and BioIntech.
00:27:26.000 It's just so shameless, just so nakedly corrupt.
00:27:31.000 There's not a lot of us out there in the independent media space.
00:27:34.000 I could name a couple.
00:27:36.000 There's just not a lot.
00:27:38.000 And Salem, to their great credit, our partner on radio, they've really allowed us to continue to say what we want to say.
00:27:44.000 But this is evidence where if you're watching cable news, and God bless cable news, it's played a role in America the last... couple decades, but it certainly isn't helping the country largely now.
00:27:56.000 You're watching CNN and you're watching MSNBC.
00:28:00.000 You're watching paid-for propaganda and propaganda that if they dare diverted from the party line, they would be punished for such behavior.
00:28:14.000 Let's go to cut nine.
00:28:15.000 He continued to say that most broadcasters followed the instruction and the one who didn't got censored.
00:28:21.000 You lived through government-created, state-subsidized mass formation psychosis over the last two years.
00:28:30.000 Play cut nine.
00:28:31.000 And so did that essentially turn presenters at the BBC Sky News into essentially representatives of the government?
00:28:40.000 Yes, I think it did.
00:28:43.000 Not just on-air talent.
00:28:45.000 I think that warning affected all broadcasters.
00:28:51.000 Most of the major broadcasters followed it.
00:28:53.000 And actually, it was only the one or two little smaller ones who wouldn't have that backup power who got caught.
00:28:59.000 I mean, Oxfield Community Radio was censored for putting something out.
00:29:03.000 Now, this is just an example in the United Kingdom.
00:29:07.000 But we know the exact same sort of interference from the Center for Disease Control, the NIH, happened here.
00:29:13.000 And this proves the point that the narrative is actually the untouchable control mechanism in America.
00:29:22.000 We call it the narrative industrial complex.
00:29:25.000 Whoever controls the narrative can control whether or not your kid wears a mask in school or not.
00:29:31.000 Whoever controls the narrative controls whether or not we're going to put up tolerating a burning of a Wendy's in our entire civilization or whether or not we're going to classify grandmothers that walk into the Capitol and take a selfie and call them insurrectionists, even though no one's been charged with insurrection.
00:29:49.000 Why do you think Fauci and Walensky have been plaster on every single major outlet?
00:29:54.000 These media companies are funded by the government and funded by pharmaceutical companies.
00:29:59.000 Our show is not.
00:30:01.000 We're not the only one, but there's not a lot of them.
00:30:06.000 Look, I've been using ExpressVPN for at least five years, and now it's the VPN that I trust.
00:30:12.000 And here's something that blows my mind.
00:30:13.000 These guys actually engineer their own VPN protocol called Lightway to keep your data secure without sacrificing speed.
00:30:20.000 That's what I love about ExpressVPN.
00:30:22.000 No trade-offs.
00:30:23.000 If you don't know what a VPN is, it stands for a virtual private network.
00:30:27.000 ExpressVPN is an app that encrypts 100% of your network data and reroutes it through a secure server.
00:30:32.000 This is especially important when you use public Wi-Fi.
00:30:35.000 Not only can the admin see everything you're doing, but hackers connected to the same network can steal your account logins and financial details.
00:30:42.000 Because they engineered their own VPN protocol, all the other major VPNs have the same off-the-shelf protocol.
00:30:48.000 Look, it's like making brownies using a mix.
00:30:51.000 Sure, you might add an extra egg in there or a dash of vanilla to give it an edge, but the foundation is still the same.
00:30:56.000 Nothing like using your own recipe.
00:30:58.000 This level of bespoke technology is what allows ExpressVPN, the best VPN out there, to provide superior speeds and enhance privacy and protection.
00:31:06.000 It's 2022.
00:31:07.000 You need to use a VPN every time you go online.
00:31:10.000 If you haven't used one yet, visit expressvpn.com slash Charlie and get three extra months free.
00:31:15.000 That's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com slash Charlie, expressvpn.com slash Charlie to learn more.
00:31:24.000 So let's go to cut 10.
00:31:27.000 He finishes by saying that this will lead to the biggest attack on free speech because we've never seen anything like it.
00:31:35.000 Play cut 10.
00:31:36.000 But actually, I think what it's led to, I think it's created an environment which will lead to the biggest assault on freedom of speech and democracy I've known in my lifetime.
00:31:51.000 I've never seen a warning from OSCOM like that.
00:31:55.000 I've never seen the broadcasters toe the line.
00:31:58.000 And rather than question the government, they became cheerleaders for the government.
00:32:03.000 And that's what they've become.
00:32:04.000 And what's so interesting is that most people go into journalism because they have this idea, albeit misleaded and misguided, that when they join these major media institutions, they're going to be exposing corruption and fighting the man.
00:32:18.000 Now, that sort of spirit of kind of regime challenging journalism, that dies when you go to journalism school.
00:32:24.000 That dies when you go to the University of Missouri Journalism School, which is one of the best in the country.
00:32:28.000 It dies when you go to Columbia Journalism School, which is supposed to be one of the best.
00:32:32.000 You see, most journalists, and we deal with a lot of journalists in our life, kind of more incoming than anything else, especially on the left, is that they're very comfortable protecting and defending the status quo of the regime.
00:32:47.000 In fact, they look at it, their job is to not try to root out corruption wherever it might be or inconsistencies or hypocrisy or cover stories that matter.
00:32:58.000 No, instead, the journalists that are now in power, especially at the New York Times and the Washington Post and Huffington Post, they are activists with a Twitter account, a notepad, and a word quota to meet every single week.
00:33:16.000 These are the exact same people that would be participating throwing rocks in BLM riots if they didn't have to submit a story once every two weeks.
00:33:26.000 These are the very same people that basically do the press releases for Department of Justice and CIA and the FBI, and they just rewrite it as a news story.
00:33:36.000 And what's so amazing is how strong the conservative movement is today, despite having the New York Times, having Harvard, having these major accrediting institutions totally captured the FDA, CDC, NIH.
00:33:53.000 And one of my theories is this, and this is a new theory that I've really been working on the last couple of weeks.
00:33:59.000 And I haven't really built it out as deeply as I would like yet, but I'm going to tease you on it.
00:34:04.000 Someone asked me the other day, said, Charlie, if they control every institution, why haven't they basically crushed us yet?
00:34:13.000 If they control Disney, Harvard, FBI, CIA.
00:34:17.000 Now, the answer is two part.
00:34:19.000 The answer is first, we haven't given up and we're building our own stuff.
00:34:23.000 That's part of it.
00:34:24.000 But they really did have a window to kind of execute a kind of like nail in the coffin, if you will, kind of like totally sealing the conservative movement for good.
00:34:36.000 And I know this is going to sound really silly.
00:34:40.000 However, they're just not very smart and they're really lazy.
00:34:46.000 Is that they have captured these institutions, but they just don't work as hard as conservatives do.
00:34:51.000 I mean, I see the Biden White House.
00:34:53.000 These people are not smart.
00:34:56.000 They are not worldly.
00:34:58.000 They're not wise.
00:35:00.000 And they just don't put as many hours in as I know the Trump administration did.
00:35:04.000 Joe Biden certainly isn't.
00:35:06.000 And so, one of the great opportunities for us as conservatives, us as constitutionalists, us as freedom lovers, is that, yes, we're up against the FBI, we're up against the Department of Justice, we're up against Google, but we're also up against very fragile people.
00:35:23.000 We're up against people that don't work as hard, and they're not very smart.
00:35:27.000 They just aren't.
00:35:29.000 And we have the creativity, we have hopefully the ambition in a good way to try to save the West.
00:35:37.000 We are definitely motivated.
00:35:39.000 They're motivated too, but they like take Arbor Day off and they're not as they don't have the grit.
00:35:49.000 When you control everything, you tend to get apathetic.
00:35:54.000 Like, I'll spend the weekend in Martha's Vineyard.
00:35:57.000 We can crush the insurrectionists next week.
00:36:00.000 Like, ah, whatever.
00:36:01.000 I'm going to go to Catalina for a week.
00:36:05.000 We can always crush the gun-grabbing Walmart people next month.
00:36:10.000 When you control every institution, it creates a culture of apathy and arrogance, which is a massive opportunity for us constitutionalists to reclaim the country.
00:36:23.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
