00:01:29.000 Hey, everybody.
00:01:31.000 Well, I'm back.
00:01:32.000 Thank you guys for watching last week.
00:01:35.000 We deeply appreciate it, as always.
00:01:38.000 Jack Pesobic did an amazing job filling in.
00:01:41.000 I'm going to tell you why I was off last week.
00:01:45.000 I know a lot of different people were messaging us, and we appreciate your support of the show.
00:01:49.000 And again, Jack did so great.
00:01:51.000 So, you know, last week was a week that changed my life.
00:01:57.000 And, you know, in a world where everything is put on social media, where everything is constantly being posted and being talked about, we made a decision, my wife and I, to keep one thing rather private.
00:02:11.000 And I'll tell you, it was not easy.
00:02:13.000 This was one of the more difficult things I think I've ever had to do.
00:02:18.000 Not just keep it private and keep it something secret, but also just kind of go through, you know, the process of all of that.
00:02:25.000 And so outside of some close family and friends, my wife, Erica, and I, we decided not to tell the world that she was pregnant.
00:02:32.000 And we did that for a variety of reasons, some being security and also just being that, you know, it's not about social media.
00:02:40.000 It's not about the millions of people that might talk about it and to get likes and to get shares and all of that.
00:02:46.000 And so last week, we welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world.
00:02:50.000 And I could tell you, I mean, many of you are in the audience and your parents and grandparents.
00:02:56.000 Everyone who says it's life-changing, exactly, I mean, it's beyond transformational.
00:03:01.000 It's when you look down in your arms and you see your child, all of a sudden, everything you're fighting for, everything that you care about, everything that you are pushing forward gets into absolute clarity almost instantaneously and immediately.
00:03:19.000 It puts the entire fight of what we're doing here on the Charlie Kirk show and at Turning Point USA in an entirely new perspective.
00:03:27.000 And it was without a doubt the most transformational moment of my life.
00:03:32.000 And boy, does it make you want to defeat the bad guys more than ever and to continue to fight for what is beautiful and what is good and what is true.
00:03:43.000 And, you know, again, we looking back at this, and I'm not one to give advice to people on this.
00:03:50.000 I do say, though, there was something so special about in a world where almost everything I do is public.
00:03:55.000 What is Charlie wearing?
00:03:56.000 What is Charlie saying?
00:03:57.000 What is Charlie doing?
00:03:59.000 That this one element of our life we were able to kind of keep private, and it's not private anymore.
00:04:05.000 And I just want to say, Erica did the most amazing job last week.
00:04:09.000 We will tell that story eventually.
00:04:13.000 Definitely took a scenic route towards delivery.
00:04:17.000 She did so amazing, and she's a hero.
00:04:20.000 And we'll tell that story in due time.
00:04:22.000 But it's been the most incredible week in more ways than one.
00:04:26.000 And, you know, just beyond transformational.
00:04:29.000 I didn't get a lot of sleep for a couple days.
00:04:32.000 Sleep deprivation is a very real thing.
00:04:36.000 If I ever wanted to confuse somebody and get them not exactly sure which way is up or down, sleep deprivation is definitely a way to do that.
00:04:44.000 But we're rested now.
00:04:45.000 We've had some amazing support.
00:04:47.000 And I just want to thank all of you in the audience for your prayers and for your remarkable backing of this program and our movement.
00:04:57.000 And again, it's just something for those of you out there that are saying, oh, I don't know if I'm going to wait before I have kids, you should just go right into it.
00:05:05.000 You should.
00:05:06.000 It's just something that will make your life enhanced in such a beautiful and a profound way.
00:05:13.000 And the work that we're doing at Turning Point USA, the work we're doing at Turning Point Action, the work we're doing on the front lines matters more than ever before.
00:05:21.000 So thank you guys for allowing us to take a week off.
00:05:24.000 I could tell you, I know some of you were emailing me at freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:05:27.000 Charlie, I hope you're getting a very restful week off.
00:05:30.000 I can tell you this: it was not a restful week off, but it was the most transformational week of my life.
00:05:37.000 And it is a stimulus and a shot in the arm where you say, We're going to defeat these bad guys.
00:05:44.000 We are going to win this.
00:05:47.000 And I'm going to have more commentary on that because there is an interesting through line that the bad guys that we are fighting have a disproportionate amount of them that are childless.
00:05:59.000 That's a separate issue for a different time.
00:06:01.000 But God bless you guys.
00:06:02.000 And yes, I'd love all of your parents' advice, parental advice, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:06:08.000 That is freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:06:10.000 Okay, there's so much news that I'm going to get to.
00:06:13.000 I know someone just emailed us, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:06:16.000 They said, Charlie, are you going to allow your child to choose their gender?
00:06:21.000 No.
00:06:22.000 Our child is a girl.
00:06:24.000 That's it.
00:06:25.000 So there's so much news to get to here.
00:06:28.000 And it's interesting when you take a week off, and again, it wasn't exactly a week off, and you get a chance to look at all the news at a 35,000-foot view.
00:06:38.000 You get to see kind of what people are saying about the specific news and what you think is missing.
00:06:44.000 And so I want to start with the piece of news that broke in the last couple of days, which is we are living through a preemptive coup, a preemptive palace coup, preemptive palace revolution.
00:06:55.000 A palace revolution is where a group of people in the ruling class make a deliberate and concerted campaign to try and remove somebody that's either duly elected or had a position of power or authority.
00:07:09.000 We saw this with Crossfire Hurricane.
00:07:12.000 We saw this with the abuse of the FISA court.
00:07:14.000 And we've talked in great detail here on this program about the power of the fourth branch of government, the unelected, unknown, unchecked power of the bureaucracies.
00:07:25.000 And if the bureaucracies are not given proper oversight, they create almost a shadow government within itself.
00:07:34.000 That is something we call the deep state.
00:07:36.000 We call it all of these different sorts of terms, but it's been very clear in the last couple of days.
00:07:41.000 Knew this on this program, but now we have in transparent with transparent evidence that this shadow government, this fourth branch of government, they are now embarking on a very risky campaign to displace a president, a candidate, a former president from being in the conversation or the ability to run for office at all in any way, shape, or form.
00:08:11.000 So, post-January 6th, we have to take a step back here.
00:08:15.000 Post-January 6th, the American ruling class, the FBI, the CIA, Brennan, Liz Cheney, they thought they had our movement dead to rights.
00:08:24.000 Post-January 6th, they thought that we were going to surrender, we were going to fracture, that Donald Trump's support was going to evaporate and erode.
00:08:34.000 Post-January 6th, they thought they had control of the House, the Senate, the presidency, that there was not going to be this incredibly energetic, grassroots-focused movement.
00:08:48.000 And they were, of course, wrong.
00:08:49.000 We've been covering this in great detail on our program from the school boards, the moms and dads, the curriculum fights, the rise of the Parents' Party, Glenn Youngkin's victory in Virginia, the displacing of the San Francisco district attorney, that the ruling class actually created a counter movement bigger than anything they could have ever possibly imagined.
00:09:09.000 The 18-month blitzkrieg from January to now has boomeranged, and they know that.
00:09:18.000 You see, they tried their infrastructure plan.
00:09:20.000 They tried using the FBI and the DOJ to spy on moms and dads going to school board meetings, and all of it only fed the fire.
00:09:30.000 It fed the movement to grow stronger.
00:09:33.000 And so the people have never been more focused.
00:09:37.000 They've never been more determined, all of us together to get the bad guys out of power, to have a check on the fourth branch of government.
00:09:44.000 And the ruling regime, the people that actually run our country from Facebook, we're going to get to that, Google, FBI, the CIA, they know that their time is up.
00:09:56.000 So they have to make a move.
00:09:59.000 The moves they made prior only made us stronger.
00:10:02.000 We call that anti-fragility here on this program.
00:10:07.000 Meaning the more they attack us, the more they smear us, the more they condemn us, the stronger we become.
00:10:15.000 So the focus of the machine has been now to take Trump off the chess table immediately.
00:10:22.000 It's incredibly transparent.
00:10:24.000 Some people disagree at this.
00:10:25.000 They say, oh, Charlie, they're not going to indict Donald Trump.
00:10:29.000 I now totally disagree at that.
00:10:30.000 I think they're going for it.
00:10:32.000 This is their big move.
00:10:33.000 Now, I'm not saying Trump did anything wrong.
00:10:34.000 In fact, the opposite.
00:10:35.000 Trump did everything right.
00:10:37.000 But if you show me the man, I'll show you the crime.
00:10:39.000 As Cicero said, he says, the more laws, the less justice.
00:10:43.000 What does that mean?
00:10:43.000 What would a one-year Roman counsel, who was one of the first stoic philosophers to say, the more laws, less justice?
00:10:51.000 What does that mean?
00:10:52.000 It means that if you have all of these laws on the books and you control the administration and the enforcement of the laws, I can put anyone I don't like in prison.
00:11:03.000 So Donald Trump is the figurehead of this nationalist, bottom-up parents' party movement.
00:11:11.000 And the machine is now getting into a desperate mode of operation.
00:11:18.000 It's a very, very, very risky thing they're embarking on.
00:11:22.000 But it's transparently clear what they're doing, which is, again, the affidavit was a complete joke.
00:11:27.000 And we're going to get into that and my take on it.
00:11:30.000 But they are now focused on taking Donald Trump off the chess table.
00:11:34.000 Now, you might say, well, Charlie, they've been focused on that for quite some time.
00:11:37.000 You know, they've wanted to, no, this is different.
00:11:40.000 They're going for it.
00:11:42.000 They think they have a window of opportunity, and they believe that if they don't do this, that our movement is going to take over everything for a long period of time.
00:11:52.000 And they're right.
00:11:54.000 Now, they have a very low percentage chance of pulling this off.
00:11:59.000 In order to pull this off, they will have to successfully and convincingly indict Donald Trump, convict him, start a MAGA civil war, and then have us all of a sudden completely and totally give up.
00:12:12.000 But we must understand, they are running out of tools at their disposal to be able to stop our movement.
00:12:19.000 They've tried everything: social media banning, smearing, shadow banning.
00:12:26.000 They've tried everything.
00:12:27.000 And yet, Latinos are now defecting in the conservative direction in record numbers.
00:12:32.000 We're winning school board races all across the country.
00:12:35.000 Voter registration numbers are going in the Republican direction in huge numbers.
00:12:40.000 What do they have left?
00:12:42.000 A palace revolution.
00:12:43.000 Take the figurehead off the chess table.
00:12:46.000 Now, some of you might say, well, Charlie, our movement is larger and greater than Trump.
00:12:52.000 I agree with that.
00:12:54.000 But their strategy now is a two-step move.
00:12:56.000 The regime now has a two-step move, which is displace and remove Donald Trump, take him off the chess table, indict him on some sort of paperwork crime, which we're going to talk about what I think their path forward is because it was articulated.
00:13:11.000 They put forward the entire indictment in the New York Times this weekend.
00:13:14.000 The entire indictment was right there in the New York Times.
00:13:18.000 And then the second one is then to try to sow and foment a MAGA civil war where the warring tribes are not able to find a consensus of how to move forward and they're able to dominate elections, not because they're popular, but because they have sowed rancor and division in our ranks.
00:13:36.000 It is a two-step move that we're seeing in front of us right now.
00:13:39.000 We're going to get into this.
00:13:40.000 I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:13:42.000 By the way, I'm loving all of your parenting advice, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:13:46.000 I just want to say we have the best audience on the planet.
00:13:48.000 You guys are awesome.
00:13:49.000 Learned so much from you.
00:13:50.000 I mean that.
00:13:53.000 Look, let me tell you, the worldwide food crisis is making headlines again.
00:13:57.000 Just recently, Business Insider said we're in a global food crisis that will wreak havoc on local economies and possibly trigger civil unrest.
00:14:06.000 They also said food shortages have led to civil unrest in the past with deadly consequences.
00:14:10.000 Remember, you are nine meals away from anarchy.
00:14:13.000 That's right, nine meals away from anarchy.
00:14:16.000 If not now, to get prepared, then when?
00:14:18.000 Well, it's time to get emergency food with preparewithkirk.com.
00:14:22.000 Write that down.
00:14:23.000 Go to it right now, preparewithkirk.com.
00:14:25.000 You'll save $250 on a three-month emergency food kit from MyPatriot Supply, the nation's largest preparedness company.
00:14:34.000 They've served millions of American families and they're ready to help you.
00:14:38.000 MyPatriot Supply three-month kit has enough meals for one person in a prolonged crisis with over 2,000 calories per day.
00:14:46.000 Get one kit for each person and your family.
00:14:48.000 There's no limit to how many you can order.
00:14:50.000 Just make sure you have this food when you need it, which could be very soon.
00:14:53.000 So get it today.
00:14:54.000 Go to preparewithkirk.com.
00:14:55.000 That is preparewithkirk.com.
00:14:57.000 Check it out.
00:14:58.000 Preparewithkirk.com.
00:15:02.000 I want to get into, I want to keep on getting into this here.
00:15:05.000 It's very important.
00:15:05.000 And again, some of it I'm playing catch up on last week's news because obviously I was out.
00:15:11.000 But this is a preemptive move.
00:15:12.000 This is the most desperate move of the regime.
00:15:15.000 It's transparent what they are doing.
00:15:17.000 And you could see it very clearly in the New York Times.
00:15:21.000 The New York Times, they wrote this long piece over the weekend, basically laying out the intellectual case, their supposed pseudo-intellectual case for an indictment.
00:15:37.000 And The New York Times, they're very, they love I Told You Sos.
00:15:45.000 They love being able to write something and being able to say, look, as we said a couple months ago, we were right about this.
00:15:51.000 We were very clear about why Donald Trump needs to be indicted, all this nonsense.
00:15:56.000 So they wrote this piece.
00:15:58.000 And again, I don't make a habit out of covering the New York Times too much, but this piece is not a mistake.
00:16:04.000 Donald Trump is not above the law by the editorial board.
00:16:08.000 Now, the New York Times wrote this piece probably in collusion and in coordination with the FBI, with the Justice Department, with people, prosecutors.
00:16:20.000 The New York Times can be best compared to metaphorically to a fullback or to a snowplow or to kind of a force forward to try to pave the way for a coming or a looming indictment.
00:16:35.000 You see, the New York Times operates to move the Overton window.
00:16:40.000 Remember, the Overton window is a spectrum of what is once deemed unthinkable to eventually what is acceptable to then what is popular.
00:16:47.000 The Overton window moved on issues like marijuana, moved on issues such as defund the police, which was once considered to be unthinkable, is even popular in certain communities, not that many.
00:16:59.000 So the New York Times writes this article to try to move the Overton window to try to prime the pump for a grand jury they're trying to impanel.
00:17:08.000 Now, I know some of you might say, Charlie, none of this is new.
00:17:11.000 We know they're trying to get Trump.
00:17:12.000 No, this is very important because we're going to go a step deeper because this impacts the midterms right now.
00:17:18.000 I think Republicans are mishandling this.
00:17:20.000 And I think it is so transparent what's happening in front of us.
00:17:23.000 And then if we do not make certain moves and countermoves right in the next couple of days, we're going to be dealing from a deficit and what should be a red wave will become a red ripple.
00:17:35.000 And I'm going to tell you what I think Donald Trump needs to do.
00:17:38.000 So the New York Times writes this article, Donald Trump is not above the law.
00:17:41.000 I read this entire piece.
00:17:41.000 I won't read the whole thing on air, but I'm just going to read the first paragraph.
00:17:44.000 The first paragraph is essentially a soft indictment.
00:17:48.000 You see, this was likely done with a prosecutor winking and nodding and saying, we need a little bit of intellectual backing.
00:17:55.000 We need some PR support.
00:17:57.000 And they said this.
00:17:58.000 The New York Times writes, over the course of the summer, the nation has been transfixed by the House Select Committees on the events of January 6th, 2021.
00:18:08.000 So let me pause there.
00:18:11.000 I reread this line like four times last night.
00:18:15.000 And I had to look up the meaning of the word transfix, not because that I didn't know it.
00:18:19.000 I couldn't believe that they would use that word.
00:18:22.000 Transfixed, according to the dictionary, just so we're clear, caused someone to become motionless with horror, wonder, or astonishment.
00:18:30.000 Did you have that feeling with the January 6th committee?
00:18:33.000 That's the New York Times.
00:18:34.000 Over the course of the summer, the nation has been transfixed by the House Select Committee hearings on the events of January 6th and how or whether Donald Trump might face accountability for what happened that day.
00:18:48.000 The Justice Department remained largely silent about its investigations of the former president until this month when the FBI searched his home.
00:18:56.000 No, they didn't search his home.
00:18:58.000 They raided his home.
00:18:59.000 It was a full-fledged occupation.
00:19:01.000 Anyway, the New York Times continues.
00:19:03.000 In a case related to the handling of classified documents, the spectacle of a former president facing criminal investigation raises profound questions about American democracy.
00:19:15.000 We're not.
00:19:15.000 We're a republic.
00:19:16.000 And these questions demand answers.
00:19:20.000 The New York Times continues and finishes the piece.
00:19:22.000 This is just so incredible.
00:19:22.000 They say this.
00:19:24.000 They say Cassidy Hutchinson, a top aide to Mr. Trump's last chief of staff, Mark Meadows, provided powerful evidence that could be used to charge Mr. Trump with seditious conspiracy.
00:19:37.000 Did we watch the same thing as Cassidy Hutchinson?
00:19:40.000 No, it's so outrageous what they're writing in the New York Times.
00:19:43.000 It is so over the top.
00:19:45.000 It is so ridiculous.
00:19:46.000 Just understand.
00:19:47.000 Seditious conspiracy is a crime which is conspiring against the authority of the legitimacy of the state, punishable potentially by death.
00:19:57.000 Cassidy Hutchinson, who said completely and totally baselessly, that Donald Trump grabbed the steering wheel of the beast, that he might be able to be charged with seditious conspiracy.
00:20:12.000 No, the New York Times is very, very careful what they're doing here.
00:20:18.000 Uncle Tom 2 offers a compelling and brave analysis of the true story of black America.
00:20:24.000 Uncle Tom 2 is the eye-opening documentary everyone in America should see.
00:20:28.000 The cultural shift from prosperity, integrity, and faith to the current perceived state of anger, discontent, and victimhood.
00:20:34.000 Uncle Tom 2 offers historical footage, photos, correspondence, and data to reveal the genuine strides of black America in the 20th century, the deliberate Marxist strategy to create racial tension and replace God with government, the NAACP sinister agenda, the fall of Black Harlem, the truth behind Black Lives Matter, and the demoralization of America for political power.
00:20:54.000 Don't miss Uncle Tom 2 from executive producer Larry Elder and director Justin Malone with Brandon Tatum, Vodie Bockam, and Chad O. Jackson.

00:21:14.000 I want to give a shout out to our entire team on the Charlie Kirk show and just kind of at Turning Point USA for the very few of them that knew Erica was pregnant.
00:21:24.000 The ability to maneuver with vagueness and abstractions in the last couple of weeks to give excuses that I couldn't do things was rather remarkable.
00:21:33.000 I just said we don't.
00:21:34.000 We want this to be private and to be secret.
00:21:36.000 And in a world where everything you do is publicized for where you tweet and what happens, to have one little corner of something that was just our own was very, very special.
00:21:46.000 So thank you to all of you and thank you to the wonderful tech team.
00:21:48.000 Okay, so the entire New York Times article was written and crafted to try to sway a grand jury.
00:21:56.000 But this is not even about Trump.
00:21:58.000 This is much bigger than Trump.
00:22:01.000 This is about the entire movement.
00:22:04.000 So we must understand that when they sit around a conference table, you have Merrick Garland, you have the FBI, Christopher Wray, you have all the Democrat operatives, they see finally what we have been forecasting, what we have been predicting, and what we have been hoping for.
00:22:25.000 They see a once-in-a-generation realignment.
00:22:29.000 They're not totally dumb.
00:22:33.000 I'd say some of them are pretty unbelievably ignorant, but in some sense, it's almost as if the architects of the 2020 election scheme are now back in charge.
00:22:44.000 So this is our working theory here on the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:22:47.000 Our working theory is that there was a cabal of pseudo-criminals that orchestrated a perfectly precise plan in the 2020 election.
00:22:58.000 Lockdowns, fear, death counts on television, blaming Trump, mass mail in ballots, mules, drop boxes.
00:23:07.000 2020 was planned perfectly from their perspective.
00:23:13.000 And the people behind that were Mark Elias and many others, as Miss Ball wrote in Time magazine, the shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election.
00:23:24.000 And it seemed as if that kind of cabal, they worked very hard at it.
00:23:28.000 They got it done.
00:23:30.000 They implemented one of the most unpopular, incompetent, incoherent human beings as president.
00:23:36.000 It's rather amazing when you think about it.
00:23:38.000 To implement someone that can't draw a couple dozen people as a rally as president, you want to talk about a palace revolution.
00:23:46.000 They overturned, they ran over the will of the people with all of these different instruments.
00:23:54.000 And then January 6th happened.
00:23:57.000 And the working theory I have is Mark Elias and all these people kind of took some time off.
00:24:02.000 They didn't stop doing what they were doing, but they started to get other work.
00:24:04.000 They started to get rich.
00:24:05.000 They started to enjoy some of the, let's say, trappings of having the House, the Senate, and the presidency.
00:24:11.000 I believe the cabal that orchestrated 2020 is now back in charge of the Democrat Party.
00:24:18.000 It's almost as if the kids were running the House, the teenagers were running around for the last 18 months.
00:24:23.000 Green New Deal, infrastructure plan, all these different insane ideas, defund the police, men can become pregnant.
00:24:30.000 Have you noticed Democrats have become a lot better at lying about their messaging on television advertisements recently?
00:24:36.000 And again, I live here in Arizona.
00:24:38.000 We'll talk a lot about the Arizona elections.
00:24:40.000 The Mark Kelly advertisements are phenomenal.
00:24:43.000 They're deceitful.
00:24:44.000 They're well crafted.
00:24:46.000 They seem moderate.
00:24:47.000 They seem common sense.
00:24:49.000 They're well shot.
00:24:50.000 If you didn't know better, you would think Mark Kelly was a moderate Republican.
00:24:55.000 The same cabal that orchestrated 2020, I believe, is now back into gear, going through a plan.
00:25:03.000 But I think there's some disagreement in the ranks of the Democrats.
00:25:07.000 Remember, their entire currency, they judge their success based on how much power they have.
00:25:16.000 And the fact that there's going to be this tsunami inevitably, potentially inevitably, in November, bothers them and worries them.
00:25:23.000 So they're wargaming.
00:25:24.000 How do we potentially prevent this from happening?
00:25:27.000 And the New York Times tells us what they're going to do.
00:25:32.000 It says this in the New York Times.
00:25:35.000 Again, the New York Times is read by all these prosecutors.
00:25:38.000 It's read by all of the inner workings of the Department of Justice.
00:25:42.000 It is the top of the tributary.
00:25:44.000 To give you an idea, for those of you that watch Fox News, but I'll give you an even better example.
00:25:50.000 Remember when Rush Limbaugh, for example, put forward Operation Chaos?
00:25:56.000 I think that's what it was called, where he said we should switch over in the Democrat Party and we should vote in the Democrat Party for Hillary so that we could stop Barack Obama.
00:26:04.000 I'm butchering some of the details.
00:26:05.000 It went everywhere.
00:26:06.000 When Rush Limbaugh or when Tucker Carlson looks to the camera and gives you a well-scripted argument that is a little bit out there, our base listens.
00:26:17.000 We stop what we're doing and say, oh, wow, that's the power of the New York Times.
00:26:22.000 The New York Times is that to the left as Rush Limbaugh was for 30 years to the right.
00:26:26.000 When Rush Limbaugh talks, you stop your car and pull over to the side of the street.
00:26:30.000 At least for me, when Rush Limbaugh was on, I would delay appointments.
00:26:34.000 I'd say, I have to call you back.
00:26:36.000 When Rush Limbaugh was on, I would design my schedule, especially when there was some breaking news.
00:26:42.000 When Bob Mueller, I would listen to Rush every single day during the Mueller investigation, during the 2016 election, every day, because we kind of needed that North Star.
00:26:50.000 We needed that guiding light.
00:26:53.000 That's what the New York Times is to the left.
00:26:55.000 To give you an idea, I know for you, you think the New York Times, whatever, is just another rag.
00:26:59.000 That's not correct for the left.
00:27:03.000 They orient their direction, their compass, based on what the New York Times tells them is considerable and acceptable, especially when it's the editorial board.
00:27:15.000 And that's what happened.
00:27:16.000 So the editorial board, the people that run the entire New York Times philosophical direction, says, quote, no one should revel in the prospect of this or any former president facing criminal prosecution.
00:27:30.000 Mr. Trump's actions have brought shame on one of the world's oldest democracies.
00:27:36.000 Again, we're not a democracy.
00:27:36.000 Do you see how important it is to define our terms?
00:27:38.000 Because then you allow these charlatans to just get out of control and destabilize its future.
00:27:45.000 Even justice before the law will not erase that stain, nor will prosecuting Mr. Trump fix the structural problems that led to the greatest crisis in American democracy since the Civil War.
00:27:59.000 To give you an idea of the argument they're making, they're making that our elections are going through a greater crisis than poll taxes and Jim Crow segregation.
00:28:08.000 That's their current argument.
00:28:10.000 But then the New York Times, and this is the total tell, everybody, they tell you what they're doing.
00:28:14.000 Their game plan is right here.
00:28:17.000 But it is a necessary first step towards doing so.
00:28:25.000 This is not the end game.
00:28:26.000 They write in the New York Times.
00:28:30.000 It is a necessary first step.
00:28:33.000 This is the first step towards what they believe is how to stop your voice, silence your activism, shut you up, and make you obey.
00:28:43.000 They would not do this.
00:28:45.000 This is the good news, everybody.
00:28:47.000 Some people are emailing us, Charlie, this is so incredibly depressing.
00:28:50.000 Well, it really isn't, actually.
00:28:51.000 It's honest.
00:28:54.000 If you can't handle it, then there's that.
00:28:57.000 We can get that old Jack Nicholas.
00:28:59.000 Nicholas can't handle the truth.
00:29:03.000 Pretty simple, pretty clear.
00:29:05.000 The good news is this, though.
00:29:07.000 All they have left are moves by small groups of powerful people.
00:29:14.000 That's it.
00:29:15.000 That's all they have left in their quiver.
00:29:18.000 They have emptied their cartridge.
00:29:22.000 They got nothing left.
00:29:24.000 They're not winning public opinion.
00:29:26.000 Their policies are deeply unpopular.
00:29:30.000 We are the ones that are filling up auditoriums.
00:29:32.000 We're the ones that are registering voters.
00:29:33.000 We're the ones that are on the front lines.
00:29:35.000 All they have left are these games.
00:29:38.000 And if they think for a second that indicting Donald Trump is going to all of a sudden make us give up or surrender, I think it will have the opposite effect.
00:29:53.000 But I will say that doesn't mean we should be hoping for it.
00:29:57.000 Because for some of you out there, we just got an email here: freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:30:00.000 Let them indict Trump.
00:30:02.000 It will be a good thing for us.
00:30:05.000 I think we can make it a good thing, but there's also a layer of risk within them indicting Trump that I think could unnecessarily create a power struggle on the right.
00:30:17.000 Having a clear person in charge, for the time being, of the MAGA movement is very important.
00:30:26.000 The MAGA movement has not yet finished settling in.
00:30:31.000 It takes at least a decade for a movement to become permanent.
00:30:34.000 Let me say that again.
00:30:35.000 It takes a decade for a political movement to become permanent.
00:30:38.000 Otherwise, it's just a flash in the pan.
00:30:40.000 Tea Party, done.
00:30:41.000 Occupy Wall Street, done.
00:30:42.000 For a political movement to become permanent, it has to finish kind of settling in to the roots and it has to metastasize both vertically and horizontally throughout the entire culture.
00:30:54.000 We're close to that, by the way.
00:30:56.000 We're just a couple years out.
00:30:59.000 And so we need a little bit more time.
00:31:01.000 Otherwise, if they indict Trump, it will give oxygen, it will give basis for the McConnells and the establishment Republicans of the world to say, I told you so, time to move on.
00:31:12.000 We're going to suck up all the money.
00:31:14.000 All their candidates are marred by a felon who endorsed them.
00:31:17.000 We will make a positive out of that, totally, but we should not invite it.
00:31:22.000 We shouldn't want it.
00:31:23.000 It would be messy and it would create some bedlam on our side.
00:31:28.000 This is all they have left.
00:31:31.000 Remember, Donald Trump got five points more popular after the raid, five points more popular.
00:31:37.000 And so it really kind of begs the question, and I want your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:31:42.000 Should Donald Trump announce for president right now?
00:31:45.000 You might say, why would he do that?
00:31:46.000 Well, according to guidelines by the DOJ, active presidential candidates or active candidates are treated at a different threshold and standard because they don't want to act as if they're doing election interference.
00:31:57.000 And of course, again, one of the most extraordinary clips is Mark Zuckerberg coming out and admitting that the Federal Bureau of Investigation back channels with major social media companies to be able to manipulate the spread of information.
00:32:13.000 So the question is, do you think it's good for the movement right now if Donald Trump announces for president?
00:32:19.000 Just gets out of the gate, says, if you're going to indict me, you have to indict the entire movement.
00:32:23.000 I got to be honest, I'm coming around to this argument.
00:32:27.000 The only card, in my opinion, Donald Trump has left to play, the only card he has left to play for the sake of our movement, before the decade comes in, the decade comes and it settles in.
00:32:37.000 If you study American history, if you study political history, it takes a decade for a political movement to have permanence.
00:32:42.000 We are not there.
00:32:43.000 They know that, by the way, civil rights movement, decade before it really got powerful.
00:32:48.000 The civil rights movement just wasn't, okay, here we have it.
00:32:50.000 No, it took a decade before they got the Civil Rights Act passed.
00:32:54.000 Do you think Donald Trump should announce for president?
00:32:58.000 I'm coming around to the argument because our movement, I want it to have durability.
00:33:02.000 I want it to have shelf life.
00:33:04.000 I do not want to go back to the ruling elite of McConnell and Paul Ryan and Boehner.
00:33:10.000 And if he gets indicted, it does put that in jeopardy.
00:33:13.000 I think we can survive it.
00:33:15.000 Most movements get derailed.
00:33:18.000 Occupy Wall Street, BLM, Me Too, Tea Party Movement, Reagan Revolution, Goldwater.
00:33:25.000 Movements easily get derailed.
00:33:27.000 And they believe they can derail it by taking out the figurehead himself.
00:33:33.000 This is an amazing clip.
00:33:34.000 I don't know if he planned to do this.
00:33:36.000 This is the brilliance of Joe Rogan.
00:33:38.000 By the way, we get emails every once in a while.
00:33:40.000 Charlie, why do you like Joe Rogan?
00:33:42.000 He bashes on Trump and he does all this stuff.
00:33:45.000 Just press a little pause here, okay?
00:33:47.000 Joe Rogan is super influential.
00:33:49.000 He's not a leftist.
00:33:50.000 He does love freedom.
00:33:51.000 I disagree with him on a wide variety of issues.
00:33:54.000 But he literally said to Aaron Rodgers, reigning MVP of the National Football League yesterday, the way that we need to send a message to the COVID-19 lockdown people is vote Republican.
00:34:06.000 So you're going to have to agree with everybody to understand that Joe Rogan has talent.
00:34:12.000 Joe Rogan has a following.
00:34:14.000 And Joe Rogan has an unbelievable skill.
00:34:17.000 I have to say, Joe Rogan's skill is to get very powerful people to forget they're on camera.
00:34:25.000 Cut 13, Joe Rogan interviewing Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook, censoring the Hunter Biden story, play cut 13.
00:34:32.000 I mean, basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us, some folks on our team, and was like, hey, just so you know, like you should be on high alert.
00:34:43.000 We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election.
00:34:47.000 We have it on notice that basically there's about to be some kind of dump of that's similar to that.
00:34:56.000 So just be vigilant.
00:34:57.000 So when you say the distribution has decreased, it got shared.
00:35:01.000 How does that work?
00:35:02.000 It basically the ranking in newsfeed was a little bit less.
00:35:05.000 So fewer people saw it than would have otherwise.
00:35:08.000 So it definitely, by what percentage?
00:35:11.000 I don't know off the top of my head, but it's meaningful.
00:35:15.000 Now, it's meaningful.
00:35:17.000 What did he just say?
00:35:19.000 We're talking about in clear terms that the Federal Bureau of Investigation showed up to Facebook and said, hey, there's all this Russian disinformation out there.
00:35:35.000 There's all of this nonsense happening out there.
00:35:38.000 You should probably censor this Hunter Biden laptop story.
00:35:41.000 That's what they were talking about.
00:35:43.000 The FBI visits the channels of social media, the places where decisions are made about politics, where information is spread, and the FBI back channeled to social media companies so significantly that Mark Zuckerberg was made aware of it and said, you should probably suppress this story.
00:36:04.000 I want you to think about that.
00:36:05.000 If that is not direct election interference, what is?
00:36:08.000 The FBI has now been, it has now transparently been revealed that they go and visit the channels of communication and manipulate what should be spread and what should not be spread.
00:36:21.000 Whoa.
00:36:23.000 And yet the most, and I love Joe Rogan, he just didn't follow up on this perfectly.
00:36:27.000 He did pretty well.
00:36:29.000 There's two questions that weren't asked, which is: number one, is this still happening?
00:36:37.000 Is the FBI interfering in the midterm election?
00:36:40.000 Is the FBI showing up to social media companies right now?
00:36:45.000 Is the FBI trying to prevent stories about how young kids are being exposed to Drag Queen Story?
00:36:51.000 I do have some evidence of that, but is the FBI doing that?
00:36:53.000 We don't know.
00:36:54.000 Is the FBI showing up saying it's Russian disinformation to say Democrats want open borders?
00:37:01.000 Is that going on right now?
00:37:03.000 Because there's, and by the way, the other question is, that's the first question.
00:37:06.000 The second question, which is less important, but it's more important, it's more, it's critical for just a broader perspective, which is, how long have they been doing this?
00:37:15.000 How many other stories has the FBI showed up to Facebook and said, hey, you got to censor this?
00:37:22.000 That the FBI has basically created a backdoor pass to control Facebook.
00:37:30.000 That's what was just revealed right there.
00:37:32.000 That if the Bureau doesn't like a story, if something is not trending the way they like it, then the FBI becomes the Federal Bureau of Election Interference.
00:37:42.000 The New York Times article is very, very clear.
00:37:47.000 The New York Times article says that they need to indict Donald Trump, but they have a two-step move.
00:37:53.000 We're now living through a two-step move.
00:37:54.000 Take out the leader, create a mega civil war.
00:37:57.000 I don't think it's that simple.
00:37:58.000 I don't think it's that clear.
00:38:00.000 The only move Donald Trump has left, for those of you that want to see Donald Trump become president again, he needs to announce for president right now.
00:38:07.000 That's his only move left.
00:38:09.000 If he doesn't, he could be convicted, become a felon, and not be allowed to serve as president of the United States.
00:38:19.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:38:20.000 Email me your thoughts.
00:38:21.000 It's always freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:38:23.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:38:24.000 God bless.
