00:00:00.000 Hey, everybody.
00:00:00.000 Today in the Charlie Kirk Show, Matt Gates comes on the program to talk about his viral remarks about Kevin McCarthy, an investigation in a porn hub, and why I think Mitt Romney, even though he's announced retirement, is running for president and what that means for our country.
00:00:13.000 Action-packed episode.
00:00:14.000 Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:00:21.000 We are here live at our TPUSA Faith Pastor Summit.
00:00:24.000 1,100 pastors from across the country are joining us, tpfaith.com.
00:00:28.000 That is tpfaith.com.
00:00:30.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:31.000 Here we go.
00:00:32.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:34.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:36.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:40.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:43.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:44.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:45.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:52.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:53.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:02.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:05.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:14.000 Joining us now is Congressman Matt Gates.
00:01:17.000 That clip went viral yesterday.
00:01:19.000 Matt, expand and elaborate on that.
00:01:21.000 Are you saying that you are prepared to put forward a motion to vacate against Speaker McCarthy?
00:01:25.000 Matt Gates, the floor is yours.
00:01:27.000 My preference would be that Kevin McCarthy come into compliance with the deal that we made in January.
00:01:31.000 You and I had many discussions about that, Charlie.
00:01:34.000 And when we finally had Kevin McCarthy as the speaker, you were one of the biggest champions of the deal that would have required single-subject spending bills and votes on things like term limits and balanced budgets.
00:01:46.000 But here we are in September, eight months later, and the things that Kevin McCarthy promised have not occurred.
00:01:52.000 So I've laid out the case as to the features of breach of the agreement.
00:01:58.000 His option is to come into compliance or face a motion to vacate.
00:02:01.000 It was somewhat troubling that he chose to respond to this by attacking me rather than just keeping his word.
00:02:07.000 I'd prefer that the speaker keep his word, and I'm here to hold him to it.
00:02:10.000 So let's go through what the asks are.
00:02:12.000 The position of this program, impeachment, not, I think it's fine, not the highest priority.
00:02:18.000 I'll be honest.
00:02:19.000 I think Joe Biden's a traitor to the country.
00:02:21.000 He should be in Gitmo, but he does deserve it, obviously.
00:02:24.000 But I think 9:30, the September 30th deadline, is the most important thing happening.
00:02:30.000 So, Matt, balance this for us.
00:02:31.000 Impeachment inquiry.
00:02:33.000 We have 9:30.
00:02:34.000 Have you seen any evidence that House leadership is moving in a way to satisfy your demands?
00:02:42.000 Walk us through kind of the current state of affairs, especially in the last 24 hours, post the speech you gave yesterday.
00:02:48.000 It's been crickets.
00:02:49.000 Matter of fact, they think they can just keep doing Washington as usual.
00:02:53.000 And I've got news for them.
00:02:54.000 That's not how it's going to go.
00:02:55.000 We do have a defense spending bill that I'd like to see us take a vote on.
00:03:01.000 That could be moving its way through the process today ever so slowly.
00:03:04.000 But, Charlie, it's not like September 30th crept up on us.
00:03:08.000 It's actually the same day every year.
00:03:10.000 That's how calendars work.
00:03:12.000 And the fact that we didn't move individual spending bills to actually go after the administrative state is our fault.
00:03:18.000 It's the fault of our leadership.
00:03:20.000 And frankly, it's my fault.
00:03:21.000 I'm here in Congress.
00:03:22.000 So I take ownership over the fact that we failed, but I've laid out what we have to do going forward.
00:03:28.000 So far, they just want to keep spending at the highest levels.
00:03:31.000 This government grew 40% during COVID when it comes to how much it spends.
00:03:37.000 And when we just try to get a little bit of that reduced, people are acting like we're trying to fundamentally reorient Washington, D.C.
00:03:45.000 Now, again, I would like to fundamentally reorient Washington, D.C., but even the most modest of spending reductions are met with great resistance from even some big spending Republicans.
00:03:56.000 Did you say 40% that the government grew by 40%?
00:04:01.000 During COVID from 2121 to 2023, government spending, federal government spending grew by 40%.
00:04:09.000 So we can't keep doing this.
00:04:10.000 We are going to be running $2 trillion annual deficits.
00:04:16.000 That is impossible to sustain at a time when so many elements of the world are de-dollarizing, whether it's what we see with BRICS, whether you see the African Union moving to currency that is more central to the continent, whether it's Saudi Arabia and Iran making deals with China to sell more energy in the won.
00:04:33.000 We cannot run $2 trillion annual deficits while the global economy is taking steps to de-dollarize.
00:04:40.000 Okay, so let's start to name names, though, Matt, because the stakes are too high.
00:04:45.000 Who are the ones that are really getting in the way here?
00:04:47.000 Who do we need to apply the most pressure on?
00:04:49.000 Which Republicans are standing in the way to really get this done?
00:04:52.000 Because you're right, 930 is by no mistake.
00:04:55.000 It's the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:57.000 I mean, this is the job of the Appropriations Committee.
00:04:59.000 When you're on the Appropriations Committee, usually you don't even serve on other committees because the work of the Appropriations Committee is deemed so important.
00:05:08.000 So the chair of that committee is Kate Granger of Texas.
00:05:12.000 The people who chair the subcommittees should have to answer for why their budgets weren't prepared.
00:05:17.000 And a hero is Budget Chairman Jody Arrington.
00:05:21.000 Jody Arrington is fighting like you wouldn't believe to get balanced budgets to the floor, but he's been bottled up by our own leadership because balanced budget votes are really hard now.
00:05:31.000 Like the easy choices have passed long ago, and it's hard choices ahead for the country.
00:05:37.000 Jody Arrington will make those choices, and we're working to get him unshacked, frankly, right now.
00:05:43.000 So heading into September 30th, then, Matt, what would be a win, right?
00:05:47.000 Because politics is the art of the possible.
00:05:49.000 As much as I would like to see the Department of Education abolished, it's not going to happen this funding cycle.
00:05:55.000 What are the priorities?
00:05:57.000 What are the non-negotiables?
00:05:59.000 And Matt, are we seeing some evidence that potentially leadership might try to do a deal with Democrats while turning the back on the Republican wing, the more, let's say, conservative wing of the Republican caucus?
00:06:12.000 Matt, walk us through all of this.
00:06:14.000 It would not surprise me if ultimately Kevin McCarthy does a deal with Democrats because that's precisely what he did on the debt limit bill.
00:06:21.000 I don't have to use imagination.
00:06:23.000 I just have to look at the last time this guy needed to build a durable coalition, and it wasn't with House Conservatives.
00:06:28.000 It was with Hakeem Jeffries.
00:06:30.000 So if that's the way the McCarthy speakership is going to go, I'm going to lead the resistance to the Biden, McCarthy, Hockey Jeff government.
00:06:38.000 In terms of what a win looks like, we got to get spending to pre-COVID levels.
00:06:43.000 It wasn't exactly like we had our fiscal house in order on government spending before COVID.
00:06:48.000 So I want to roll back that top line.
00:06:51.000 And then I don't think we should do a 1% cut across the board everywhere.
00:06:55.000 Like, I don't want to cut veterans 1%.
00:06:57.000 I probably don't want to cut defense at all.
00:06:59.000 We need to be spending a great deal to protect our freedom.
00:07:03.000 But I want to have deep vertical cuts in some areas.
00:07:06.000 And yeah, you're right.
00:07:07.000 That's going to take threatening shutdowns.
00:07:09.000 I don't want to shut down, but I'm definitely willing to threaten one if that's what it takes to get us to the type of just modest government budgeting.
00:07:18.000 So what do you say to the more moderate wing that say that Democrats would just blame us and politically it's a bad move?
00:07:27.000 Well, I mean, I'm just sorry, Charlie.
00:07:28.000 We've got to be more patriotic than that.
00:07:30.000 We cannot continue to drive this country into the ground with deficit spending, with inflationary spending that hurts us now and deficit spending that hurts future generations of Americans.
00:07:41.000 We cannot do it.
00:07:42.000 I don't care if it's a tough vote.
00:07:44.000 I don't care if you don't want to take the vote.
00:07:46.000 We absolutely have to go be judged by our constituents for the spending that we're willing to authorize and appropriate.
00:07:52.000 And for those who claim those are tough decisions, I would suggest that there's a case to be made that Democrats have brought us to this point with their bad choices.
00:08:04.000 And rather than just being Democrat-light, we actually ought to demonstrate some boldness to the country that draws people in and helps us build broader coalitions.
00:08:13.000 Timeline and action items.
00:08:14.000 What can we expect in the next couple of weeks and how can the audience support you?
00:08:17.000 Yeah, we need to get individual bills passed.
00:08:20.000 I would love to see us pass the defense appropriations bill this week.
00:08:24.000 But if by next week I am not seeing action from Kevin McCarthy to come into compliance with the deal he made in January, then I wouldn't bet against next week or pretty soon thereafter seeing motions to vacate the chair pretty regularly.
00:08:40.000 That buzzing sound means they're calling us to votes, Charlie.
00:08:43.000 But I think the coming weeks are going to be critical, not just for the internal intrigue of palace politics, but really for the nation.
00:08:52.000 Like if we can't get it together right now and reduce this inflationary spending, then what is the point of even having power?
00:09:00.000 If you're not going to use political power and just wait for the next election, why even win a majority?
00:09:05.000 Matt Gates, come back soon.
00:09:07.000 Thanks so much.
00:09:11.000 Listen, as students begin heading back to school, do you think they'll be learning about the founding principles that made America the freest, most prosperous nation in history?
00:09:18.000 Will they learn that our unalienable rights are God-given and not granted by government?
00:09:22.000 Will they be given a full and honest account of our nation's history?
00:09:25.000 The answer to all these questions is yes for students at Hillsdale College.
00:09:29.000 And these days, in addition to teaching college students, Hillsdale has extended its teaching to K-12 students and lifelong learners like you and me.
00:09:37.000 If you're not doing so already, one of the best ways to start learning from my friends at Hillsdale is through In Primus, Hillsdale's free digest of liberty.
00:09:46.000 My listeners can sign up for free at this special website, which is available for a limited time.
00:09:51.000 It's at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:09:53.000 I look forward to In Primus each month, and you can too.
00:09:56.000 It's interesting, useful, and free.
00:09:58.000 The best and smartest in conservative constitutionalist thought.
00:10:02.000 Find out more about Hillsdale and In Primus at charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:10:07.000 They're an excellent college, America's greatest college, charlie4hillsdale.com.
00:10:15.000 We are receiving hundreds of emails based on our first hour talking about how Donald Trump can win.
00:10:22.000 That's right, he can win, and the Democrat plan is not going well.
00:10:26.000 I find it most interesting to look at Democrats that begin to warn about what we are also seeing, the smart Democrat.
00:10:33.000 In 2016, it was Bill Clinton.
00:10:34.000 In 2016, it was Michael Moore.
00:10:37.000 Now, some of them, these Democrats do that just to raise money and to become relevant, but some of them actually believe it, especially the ones that live in the states that are going to decide the election.
00:10:47.000 One of those states is Michigan.
00:10:49.000 Now, Michigan is not an emphasis state for turning point action.
00:10:52.000 I don't think Michigan will be easily won.
00:10:55.000 Michigan can be won, potentially, with proper organizing, especially with just the outright criminalization of everyday patriots in Michigan, as we see with the Attorney General Dana Nessel going after Rose Rook, 81 years old from Michigan, Pawpaw, Michigan.
00:11:10.000 Democrat Debbie Dingell, who represents a working-class district, not a fan of hers, but she speaks the truth when it comes to how Trumpy her district is.
00:11:20.000 Democrats, this is a new narrative out there, and they're pushing it.
00:11:24.000 They're pushing it.
00:11:24.000 They're pushing it.
00:11:26.000 Play cut 35.
00:11:28.000 We're heading into another presidential race.
00:11:31.000 If the election were held today in Michigan, do you think Donald Trump as a Republican nominee could beat President Biden as a Democratic nominee?
00:11:37.000 I'm going to look at you all right now.
00:11:39.000 Everybody says Michigan's a blue state.
00:11:42.000 Michigan is not.
00:11:44.000 It is purple.
00:11:45.000 It is a very competitive state.
00:11:47.000 And Donald Trump would do well in Michigan right now.
00:11:50.000 I'm not, the election's a year away.
00:11:52.000 We're at a very volatile time, but I'm not taking Michigan for granted.
00:11:57.000 And I'm going to say I've said that very strongly to many people.
00:12:02.000 Do you feel like the Biden team is taking Michigan for granted right now?
00:12:05.000 Should they be doing more already to try to shore things up?
00:12:12.000 Let's just say I think we've gotten their attention.
00:12:16.000 So they're starting to panic a little bit in Michigan.
00:12:19.000 Not to mention what's happening with Wisconsin.
00:12:21.000 Ohio is dead.
00:12:22.000 Ohio is no longer a battleground state.
00:12:23.000 Iowa is no longer a battleground state.
00:12:25.000 There's an article in Politico now where they say, oh, because North Carolina has a 25-year-old state chair, North Carolina's in play.
00:12:31.000 North Carolina is going to be competitive, no doubt, no spin.
00:12:34.000 I still think Donald Trump wins that.
00:12:35.000 Florida is done.
00:12:35.000 Forget it.
00:12:36.000 Florida is, that is a deep red state for many years to come.
00:12:40.000 Why?
00:12:40.000 Because Florida has an unending stream every single month of people over the age of 65 with conservative Midwestern values that come and buy property and want Florida to remain red.
00:12:50.000 It's like the, it's an automatic kind of annuity of like every single month, there's another 50,000 right-wingers that move the Florida.
00:12:59.000 But this reminds me, Debbie Dingell reminds me of what Michael Moore said in 2016 when Michael Moore came out and he was one of the only people to say, I don't think you understand.
00:13:11.000 Donald Trump's going to win.
00:13:13.000 Now, I'm not as clearly saying that in 24 because look, we received this email.
00:13:18.000 And if I may be so candid to push back on one of our amazing listeners, our listeners make our show better, but I honestly can't stand emails like this.
00:13:26.000 It drives me nuts.
00:13:27.000 This is a bad attitude.
00:13:30.000 All caps.
00:13:31.000 We will lose.
00:13:32.000 Charlie, I adore your enthusiasm, but stop it.
00:13:35.000 Democrats will cheat and there's no way we can win.
00:13:37.000 It goes on and on and on and on.
00:13:40.000 So 71, Vietnam veteran, electronics design engineer.
00:13:43.000 I'm just sick of what a crap hole country has become.
00:13:46.000 Craig, I hear you.
00:13:47.000 Cynicism is easy.
00:13:49.000 It's easy to fall victim to cynicism.
00:13:53.000 But if that's the case, how did Donald Trump win in 16?
00:13:55.000 If that's the case, how did he win in the first place?
00:13:58.000 Yes, the odds are stacked against us.
00:13:59.000 Yes, it will be difficult.
00:14:00.000 It's going to require work and organizing.
00:14:03.000 But part of their plan is demoralization, mass psychological warfare, to get you to give up, to get you to surrender, to have sentiments like this.
00:14:12.000 And so I will just kindly push back.
00:14:14.000 I acknowledge that our elections are crooked and broken.
00:14:17.000 They're a joke in certain counties and certain states.
00:14:19.000 Let's try to fix them and do our best.
00:14:22.000 There's no guarantees in life, but you got to fight in the arena.
00:14:26.000 They would love nothing more than for us to surrender and for us to give up.
00:14:30.000 In fact, if there was a guarantee of their victory, if Democrats had a guaranteed victory, why is their propaganda necessary?
00:14:39.000 If their victory was guaranteed, why do they have to continue to act the way they are?
00:14:44.000 Because their victory is not guaranteed.
00:14:46.000 It's not.
00:14:47.000 If they were so confident in their plan, why is there a panic and a freak out?
00:14:52.000 The media will not cover this nearly as accurately what's happening.
00:14:57.000 But there are serious fault lines that are now coming to the surface in the Democrat regime.
00:15:04.000 This forced coalition that they put together has fallen apart.
00:15:11.000 For 10 years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.

00:16:13.000 There's a new undercover report from journalist Arden Young reveals that the online pornography website Pornhub has a loophole around age verification for explicit and pornographic videos, which therefore involve children.
00:16:28.000 We've suspected this for quite some time, but finally we now have it on film.
00:16:33.000 Arden Young joins us now.
00:16:34.000 Arden, thank you for your great work and for joining the program.
00:16:37.000 Tell us about this story.
00:16:38.000 Thank you so much, Charlie.
00:16:40.000 Thank you for having me.
00:16:41.000 Yes, so I've been investigating Pornhub for a little bit now.
00:16:46.000 And in this video release, which is our first release of a multi-part series, I met with Mike Farley, who is a product manager at Pornhub.
00:16:56.000 He's been there for over 10 years.
00:16:58.000 He claims he was the seventh employee to be hired there.
00:17:02.000 So he's been there for a very, very long time.
00:17:05.000 And he explains this loophole to me in the upload process.
00:17:09.000 So supposedly verified uploaders can upload pornographic videos to Pornhub.
00:17:16.000 But the thing is, they're requiring people to upload their IDs to upload a video.
00:17:21.000 But so many of these videos don't actually contain faces of the people in the videos that it's impossible to match their identities.
00:17:29.000 So that's how people like rapists and traffickers are getting illegal content on the site and it's being monetized.
00:17:36.000 So in this video that we are uploading right now, you had this high-level executive brag to you that Pornhub is aware that underage videos of children being raped are then uploaded to their website.
00:17:51.000 That is a bombshell story that the number one place of pornography consumption knowingly know they know on their website that illegal activity is occurring.
00:18:02.000 They're doing nothing about it.
00:18:03.000 They cover it up.
00:18:04.000 Arden, what are the implications of this?
00:18:06.000 There's laws being broken here.
00:18:08.000 Absolutely.
00:18:09.000 U.S. Code 2257, which was adopted in 1988, made age verification mandatory for all traditional pornography sites.
00:18:20.000 So we believe this is a criminal offense and we intend to follow it all the way through and work with lawmakers to hold Pornhub accountable.
00:18:28.000 And people don't realize how huge this company is.
00:18:32.000 Pornhub's parent company, MindGeek, now rebranded to ALO, is a huge monopoly.
00:18:39.000 They own so many porn studios and websites.
00:18:42.000 Their Wikipedia page doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of all the things they run.
00:18:47.000 Pornhub is the number nine most trafficked website in the world.
00:18:52.000 The number nine most trafficked website in the world.
00:18:56.000 And so this individual, the executive, said that the rapists and traffickers use Pornhub loophole to make a lot of money.
00:19:04.000 And he says, quote, I wouldn't be able to defend this in court.
00:19:08.000 This is Mike Farley, the technical producer at MindGeek, which owns all of these, let's just say, awful pornographic websites.
00:19:17.000 Let's play one of the tapes here.
00:19:19.000 Let's play Cut 72, please.
00:19:21.000 How are you going to tell me who's in that video of the girls not showing her face?
00:19:25.000 You're like trying to match moves and birthmarks on their butts and stuff.
00:19:30.000 Like you're trying to, I know this guy's dick, man.
00:19:33.000 That's definitely this guy.
00:19:35.000 So someone could still lie and get around it.
00:19:37.000 Because it's stupid because it's like, I could be a content uploader.
00:19:42.000 And the only thing you need from me is like, you don't need a picture of my dick 90, right?
00:19:47.000 My driver's license.
00:19:48.000 That's my face on it.
00:19:49.000 That's just my face on it.
00:19:51.000 You don't see my body on it.
00:19:52.000 And now my videos never have my face.
00:19:57.000 You have to be like, no, like that guy's body matches his face.
00:19:57.000 Yeah.
00:20:02.000 Like, that's what compliance people are basically saying.
00:20:05.000 It's like, try that.
00:20:06.000 Like, that wouldn't hold in court.
00:20:07.000 You know what I mean?
00:20:07.000 Like, that's so subjective.
00:20:10.000 It's not factual.
00:20:11.000 It's your opinion.
00:20:13.000 Like, you think that?
00:20:14.000 Okay.
00:20:16.000 You can't really guarantee that.
00:20:18.000 That would be the loophole that I always like.
00:20:20.000 I look at that and I'm like, that's.
00:20:22.000 So he's so walk us through.
00:20:24.000 He's obviously in a club and all this.
00:20:25.000 So walk us through the what is he bragging about here?
00:20:28.000 What sort of legal loophole is he talking about in regards to child exploitive sexual material on this ninth most popular website on the planet?
00:20:36.000 Yeah, so any verified uploader on Pornhub is asked to upload their ID to this site and then they can virtually upload any video they'd like.
00:20:46.000 So when they're uploading videos, many times the people in the videos aren't even showing their faces.
00:20:52.000 So it could be from here down.
00:20:55.000 And this would allow for child exploitative material to get in or any type of exploitation to get in if it's a non-consensual situation like a rape.
00:21:06.000 So we have another piece of tape here that I want to play from the undercover video and the journalism that you've done here.
00:21:13.000 I'm trying to find what the cuts are.
00:21:17.000 But let's play Cut 74.
00:21:19.000 What if like the government was to find out about this loophole?
00:21:24.000 What would they do?
00:21:26.000 I'll take time.
00:21:27.000 I don't know.
00:21:28.000 They're not going to do nothing.
00:21:31.000 They're done.
00:21:32.000 They don't know shit.
00:21:35.000 They're not qualified to identify.
00:21:41.000 They already did their investigation.
00:21:43.000 They were satisfied.
00:21:44.000 You like work for the government or something.
00:21:47.000 This has a half a billion dollars in annual revenue.
00:21:49.000 He's bragging that the government doesn't care about videos of children being raped on the website.
00:21:55.000 This is a massive story, Arden.
00:21:56.000 Please tell us more.
00:21:57.000 Yeah, he claims that the government isn't qualified to identify the loophole.
00:22:02.000 And later, he also says that people on his level and up within Pornhub are the ones that are potentially could be deposed about this type of material.
00:22:14.000 So there's potential that we'll see Mike in deposition in the future.
00:22:18.000 We don't know.
00:22:20.000 He also claims that him and his boss sat down and recorded a meeting with the CLO and the CPO to explain this loophole and to have it on record that they said something about it, but the CPO didn't want to do anything about it.
00:22:36.000 So, you know, Mike and his boss are trying to cover their tracks and involvement in this.
00:22:42.000 And they're definitely very aware internally that this is a loophole that has some major, major, major issues.
00:22:49.000 Yeah.
00:22:49.000 So MindGeek is a $500 million a year company that makes money off of digital heroin that destroys marriages and destroys people's lives.
00:23:01.000 And that's not enough of it.
00:23:02.000 They are now know the adult content is disgusting and awful, but then they knowingly allowed the uploading of children then being exploited and underage people.
00:23:13.000 They say, oh, we know what's happening.
00:23:15.000 And so let's get to some action items.
00:23:17.000 We're going to be tweeting this out, Arden.
00:23:19.000 We're going to be demanding in the States that Republican AGs or any AGs across the country immediately open up criminal investigations into Pornhub based on these videos.
00:23:29.000 I mean, if there are children that, because then this only further incentivizes child sex trafficking, child smuggling, child exploitation, because then they feel as if they can make a buck off of a 13-year-old getting raped.
00:23:44.000 They can then upload a video of a 13-year-old getting raped, put it on Pornhub, and make $50,000.
00:23:50.000 Pornhub takes their cut.
00:23:52.000 It really makes you wonder how much of that $500 million on Pornhub that they are revenuing comes from children.
00:24:00.000 So, Arden, action items here, walk us through it.
00:24:03.000 Yeah, we really, really hope to get bipartisan support into launching a full investigation into this, and we're committed to working with any lawmakers interested in taking action.
00:24:14.000 I'll be here every step of the way with anyone who wants to work on this.
00:24:18.000 Really just want to hold this company accountable.
00:24:21.000 All right, Arden Young, great work.
00:24:23.000 We're going to be uploading the videos, and thank you so much.
00:24:26.000 Thank you so much, Charlie.
00:24:28.000 Okay, it's really great undercover journalism there.
00:24:31.000 We are going to be uploading all the videos at CharlieKirk.com and also on our social media feeds.
00:24:36.000 And this is something that is not always talked about.
00:24:40.000 And by the way, this shouldn't be a political issue.
00:24:42.000 It shouldn't be a political issue.
00:24:44.000 Just as a side note, what if I told you that Texas and Utah did their best to try to stop the porn epidemic?
00:24:50.000 And there is a pornography consuming epidemic in the country.
00:24:53.000 The very real thing.
00:24:54.000 They tried their best to try and stop it by saying, hey, why don't you just verify your age?
00:25:01.000 And it got overturned in court because we want 13-year-olds to be able to consume pornography.
00:25:08.000 Think of all the things that you need to do to validate your age, to show how old you are.
00:25:14.000 And just off the top of my head, walking into a bar, nightclub.
00:25:21.000 There's even some, I think, over-the-counter medicine.
00:25:25.000 I don't think you're allowed to buy under a certain age.
00:25:27.000 You can't rent a car basically until you're 24 or 25.
00:25:31.000 It's really sick.
00:25:33.000 Also, some breaking news.
00:25:35.000 Mitt Romney says he will not run for reelection.
00:25:39.000 That's big news.
00:25:40.000 Is that a reliable reporter?
00:25:43.000 I haven't seen a second source on this.
00:25:45.000 This is, no, that's Bloomberg News.
00:25:47.000 That's pretty reliable.
00:25:50.000 That's a well-sourced guy, I should say.
00:25:52.000 I hardly say Bloomberg is reliable.
00:25:55.000 If so, that's a really big deal.
00:25:58.000 We could get a real good senator in Utah.
00:26:02.000 I would like to think that the early action.
00:26:04.000 Oh, no, no, yeah, here's the Fox News alert.
00:26:06.000 Okay, there you go.
00:26:08.000 Mitt Romney announces he will not run for re-election.
00:26:10.000 You know that we had the challenger to Mitt Romney come to our turning point action conference, Trent Staggs, and we sent a very clear message.
00:26:17.000 I'm not saying it's because of us, but we were ahead of the curve there.
00:26:19.000 That's going to be a very interesting primary.
00:26:22.000 I'll tell you what, I bet some other people are going to run.
00:26:24.000 We got to get a real conservative there.
00:26:26.000 Utah deserves better.
00:26:27.000 This is credit to the America First Movement.
00:26:30.000 Big deal.
00:26:31.000 Very happy about this.
00:26:32.000 Mitt Romney announces he won't seek reelection.
00:26:34.000 So you know what that means?
00:26:36.000 Mitt Romney might run for president as the no labels party.
00:26:43.000 That will help Joe Biden in Arizona.
00:26:47.000 I'm sorry, that will help Donald Trump in Arizona.
00:26:50.000 It could really hurt us in Utah.
00:26:54.000 Mitt Romney could win the state of Utah running for the presidency as a no-labels candidate.
00:26:59.000 He could win Idaho almost.
00:27:00.000 Man, that'd be tight.
00:27:01.000 They got a lot of LDS there.
00:27:05.000 So in order to become president of the United States, you need 270 electoral votes, 270 to win.com if you want to follow along with me.
00:27:12.000 If Mitt Romney's not running for the Senate, fine, we'll talk about that.
00:27:14.000 He's terrible.
00:27:15.000 He's awful.
00:27:15.000 But we just got to jump right into the immediate speculation.
00:27:18.000 If Mitt Romney runs as a no-labels candidate and he wins Utah, for example, then and Donald Trump wins Arizona and Wisconsin and Georgia, then nobody gets a 270 electoral vote.
00:27:31.000 Nobody.
00:27:32.000 So then what happens?
00:27:33.000 Is Mitt Romney, the deep state insurance plan with all this, because we talked about the last couple hours, everything's going bad for them.
00:27:39.000 It's not going well.
00:27:40.000 Their central planning is not going well.
00:27:41.000 Is it a coincidence the same day David Ignatius comes out and writes an article and says Joe Biden shouldn't run, Cornell West is ramping up that all of a sudden, boom, they deploy Mitt Romney and say he's not running for reelection?
00:27:51.000 So what happens then?
00:27:52.000 If, if, if, again, there's a lot of ifs, but we got to game this out.
00:27:55.000 If Mitt Romney to run his new look, no labels, it would help Donald Trump in Arizona.
00:27:58.000 It would help Donald Trump in Georgia.
00:28:00.000 It would hurt Donald Trump in Utah and maybe even Idaho.
00:28:04.000 And some of those kind of, let's just say more, they call themselves free-minded.
00:28:08.000 I mean, Mitt Romney could conceivably win Arizona, by the way.
00:28:11.000 Conceivably.
00:28:12.000 It'd be tough, but a lot of East Valley, Chandler, Mesa, Brian knows all about it.
00:28:18.000 It'd be tough.
00:28:18.000 That's not as easy.
00:28:20.000 Okay.
00:28:21.000 So what happens if nobody gets 270 electoral votes?
00:28:24.000 Well, then it goes to the House of Representatives.
00:28:26.000 But not so fast, my friends.
00:28:28.000 It's not a straight up or down vote.
00:28:30.000 According to the United States Constitution, each state only gets one vote.
00:28:34.000 So California gets the same vote as South Dakota.
00:28:37.000 So there's 26 states that have a Republican majority.
00:28:39.000 So they meet amongst themselves.
00:28:40.000 So the entire California delegation would meet amongst themselves and they have to decide how to vote.
00:28:44.000 And the whole Texas delegation would meet amongst themselves and the whole Utah delegation.
00:28:49.000 So 26 states have a Republican majority in their House delegation.
00:28:52.000 So if all of them hold the line, we'd then win a House election.
00:28:56.000 And they pick from the top three electoral vote getters, which means Mitt Romney could be the consensus president.
00:29:04.000 Could you imagine?
00:29:05.000 Moderate Democrat, moderate Republicans come together and they say, well, no one got the 270.
00:29:11.000 Let's de-radicalize the country.
00:29:13.000 No labels.
00:29:15.000 And then if one or two Republican flips, you've got President Mitt Romney, who wins like one state.
00:29:21.000 This is the way the Constitution lays it out.
00:29:23.000 I'm telling you, you're about to see some very strange asymmetrical warfare deployed.
00:29:27.000 This is not going to be an election like any of you've ever seen because their central planning previously starting in January is not going well.
00:29:34.000 Indictments, all this stuff.
00:29:36.000 Mitt Romney not running for the Senate.
00:29:38.000 In my personal opinion, I could be wrong.
00:29:41.000 I think that he's getting closer and closer to running as no labels candidate presidency with Joe Manchin.
00:29:47.000 They will raise buckets of money, extremely well funded.
00:29:50.000 And all they have to do is peel off a couple states to prevent anybody from getting a 270.
00:29:54.000 The no labels plan might not be able, it might not be to win the presidency by traditional means.
00:30:00.000 It might be to force a congressional crisis.
00:30:03.000 And Joe Lieberman is involved.
00:30:05.000 Many other people are involved.
00:30:08.000 Could it be that since the deep state centralized plan in 2023 is not going well, and then you have Kirsten Sinema involved, and she's already not a Democrat and she's running, maybe has no labels.
00:30:25.000 And no labels traditionally, we'd think of, hey, no labels is going to help Trump.
00:30:29.000 Well, it could in certain states, unless they're deeply red states like Utah, where you make the electoral math, you almost count on Utah being part of the calculus.
00:30:42.000 There's so much unpredictable elements to this.
00:30:45.000 But yes, happy Mitt Romney's not running for election.
00:30:48.000 Thrilled about that.
00:30:50.000 But go a level deeper.
00:30:52.000 What's really going on here?
00:30:54.000 It's too much simultaneous action happening right now.
00:30:58.000 Far too much.
00:31:00.000 Mitt Romney retiring from the Senate.
00:31:02.000 Ignatius says Biden shouldn't run.
00:31:04.000 Polls show Donald Trump tied and or ahead.
00:31:08.000 Indictments aren't sticking.
00:31:09.000 The Republican primary is basically over.
00:31:11.000 This feels like a new one, a new centralized plan that they're deploying right now.
00:31:16.000 Lots of unintended consequences, but the next best thing to winning for Democrats is just to prevent Republicans from winning and force a constitutional crisis in Congress and have every state vote.
00:31:30.000 Strap in, folks.
00:31:31.000 It's going to be a bumpy ride.
00:31:32.000 Patriots need to show up.
00:31:33.000 You got to get to work.
00:31:35.000 This is about to get bumpy.
00:31:36.000 I'm telling you, you've not heard the last of Mitt Romney.
00:31:38.000 You're trying to tell me he's going to go and just be like ambassador to Ukraine?
00:31:42.000 Smart Money is on Mitt Romney running as a no-labels candidate at their drafting convention with Joe Manchin.
00:31:48.000 You heard it here first.
00:31:52.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:31:53.000 Everybody, email us your thoughts.
00:31:54.000 As always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
