00:01:42.000 Joining us now is Mike Davis, who has a lot to say on these topics and issues.
00:01:47.000 Mike, welcome to the program.
00:01:49.000 Mike, how should we think about the Hunter Biden plea deal?
00:01:54.000 The floor is yours.
00:01:56.000 The Hunter Biden plea deal is clearly a sweetheart deal, not only to protect Hunter Biden, but to protect Merrick Garland's boss, Joe Biden.
00:02:06.000 And people keep talking about this David Weiss, this Delaware U.S. attorney who was appointed by President Trump.
00:02:13.000 That is not how it works in the Senate.
00:02:14.000 That was the chief counsel for nominations.
00:02:17.000 And I had to confirm judges and U.S. attorneys.
00:02:20.000 The home state senators work with the White House to pick U.S. attorneys.
00:02:26.000 And if there is not a U.S. attorney that is put in over the objection of any senator.
00:02:32.000 So, and this David Weiss, both Democrat senators and Delaware picked him and wanted him.
00:02:39.000 They actually put out a press release praising the pick and talking about how it was their pick as the two Democrat senators.
00:02:46.000 This is a sweetheart deal.
00:02:47.000 They're trying to cover up with Hunter Biden's plea arrangement here, this plea deal where he's going to plead guilty to two misdemeanors.
00:02:55.000 He's going to have a deferred sentence on a felony gun charge and apparently make all this corruption go away from 2017 and 2018 when we have clear evidence from an FBI whistleblower.
00:03:10.000 The FBI paid $200,000 over 10 years, credible evidence that then Vice President Joe Biden and Hunter took a $10 million foreign bribe from Burisma and had the Ukrainian president fire the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma and the Bidens if this Ukrainian president wanted a billion dollars in U.S. aid.
00:03:35.000 Remember Obama put Vice President Joe Biden in charge of Ukraine and the Bidens made millions and millions of dollars.
00:03:41.000 We have evidence that Joe Biden has made $20, $30 million, according to James Comer in the House, from this foreign bribery and corruption.
00:03:51.000 And David Weiss is covering this up.
00:03:53.000 David Weiss has been covering up the $10 million bribe allegation since Bill Barr sent it to him around January of 2020.
00:04:02.000 Why did David Weiss think it was a good idea to sit on evidence, credible evidence, they determined that then Vice President Joe Biden took this $10 million foreign bribe when he is running for president of the United States and could be compromised as the president of the United States and may need to be impeached and removed because of this.
00:04:23.000 So I want to read something from Jonathan Turley that I thought was really smart.
00:04:28.000 This is going to be very controversial for critics.
00:04:30.000 I think for many, this is going to look like you ticketed the getaway driver after a bank robbery.
00:04:35.000 Like, yeah, okay, you ran a red light, but you also robbed the bank and sold out your country.
00:04:40.000 Mike, do you agree, though, that it seems as if the Department of Justice is trying to run PR interference against a legitimate criticism that the DOJ has become the Praetorian guard for the Democrat Party?
00:04:54.000 There is no question.
00:04:55.000 There is no question.
00:04:57.000 Look what they did.
00:04:58.000 Hillary Clinton got caught with her illegal home server as Secretary of State with our nation's most classified secrets.
00:05:07.000 It was hacked probably by Russia, and it probably had pretty good evidence that the Clinton Foundation was in pay-for-play and other foreign bribery and corruption schemes.
00:05:18.000 The Justice Department cooked up the Russian collusion hoax, crossfire hurricane investigation to deflect to go after Trump, right?
00:05:27.000 And look, we have the Biden gets caught with five stashes of stolen classified records moved several times, accessible by their Chinese agent, probably used for their corrupt foreign dealings.
00:05:39.000 Miranda Devine at the New York Post has a 22-point memo that Hunter Biden wrote on the geopolitics of Ukraine.
00:05:47.000 Apparently, he put away the crackpipe and the paintbrush for a minute and boned up on Ukraine geopolitics.
00:05:53.000 Of course, he used classified information.
00:05:55.000 So what did they do?
00:05:56.000 They ordered the Biden Justice Department went after Trump for presidential records he's allowed to have.
00:06:02.000 And they just recently indicted him for a fight with Biden's librarians and other bureaucrats at the same time that they're covering up evidence for years that then Vice President Joe Biden took a $10 million foreign bribe and changed U.S. policy.
00:06:19.000 The Justice Department, the FBI have been weaponized.
00:06:24.000 They have gone after Trump in the last three elections.
00:06:27.000 2016, they failed.
00:06:29.000 2020, they succeeded.
00:06:31.000 2024, they're going to try to succeed again.
00:06:34.000 So, Mike, do you believe that the Justice Department is taking the steps to get to eventual insurrection charge?
00:06:42.000 I know that's a big word.
00:06:44.000 I think it would be baseless and nonsensical, but it feels as if that the Department of Justice is trying to save some PR face and then strike.
00:06:55.000 They're building.
00:06:56.000 It's this slow build that feels as if we're living through another 2020.
00:07:01.000 I feel as if we're living another COVID where very few of us are willing to speak out, where we know something is wrong.
00:07:08.000 We can smell the rotten core.
00:07:12.000 We don't quite see the whole game until afterwards.
00:07:16.000 We're trying to put certain pieces together.
00:07:20.000 It feels so much like 2020, Mike, where it's there is a game to impact the election.
00:07:27.000 We know it's happening.
00:07:28.000 Most Republicans don't care until it happens afterwards.
00:07:32.000 Mike, do you think that this is all eventually to point towards an indictment of Donald Trump on insurrection?
00:07:40.000 100%, Charlie.
00:07:42.000 This is lawfare on five different fronts.
00:07:45.000 New York, Attorney General Tish James brought civil fraud charges against Trump for paying back sophisticated banks in full.
00:07:54.000 Somehow, that is fraud in New York.
00:07:58.000 New York's Manhattan DA, this George Soros funded Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, indicted a former president and a presidential candidate for the first time in our history for the non-crime of a businessman settling a nuisance lawsuit.
00:08:13.000 And Alvin Bragg ignored the prior Manhattan DA, the U.S. prior Manhattan U.S. Attorney, the Federal Election Commission, and his own decision to do this.
00:08:22.000 They sent in Matthew Colangelo from the number three's office in the Biden Justice Department to go to Bragg's office to resuscitate this zombie case, this dead case against Trump.
00:08:33.000 Now Jack Smith brought this bogus indictment of Trump for espionage for his fight with Biden's librarians and bureaucrats over presidential records that President Trump is allowed to have under the Presidential Records Act.
00:08:46.000 Jack Smith and Fannie Willis down in Georgia will also indict Trump for January 6th, the non-crime of objecting to a presidential election, which is allowed under the Electoral Count Act of 1887 and the First Amendment.
00:09:00.000 So Mike, about a minute and a half remaining, though, how far does Jack Smith reach?
00:09:04.000 If he reaches for insurrection in an incredibly Democratic jury pool of D.C., I mean, then you're talking about potentially preventing Donald Trump from being president, which is what this is all about, right?
00:09:15.000 And if I was a Machiavellian Democrat, if I was a Marxist who hated the country, I would indict him for insurrection.
00:09:24.000 Number one, you guys have already been trial ballooning that in the media, so it's not out of nowhere.
00:09:28.000 Number two, you could drop the charges if the trial or the pretrial is not going well.
00:09:32.000 Number three, if you convict him, you can legitimately prevent him from becoming president.
00:09:37.000 One minute remaining, Mike, your reaction.
00:09:39.000 They're absolutely going to try to do that.
00:09:41.000 As we said, it's permitted by the Electoral Count Act of 1887.
00:09:45.000 This was a protest that got out of control and turned into a riot.
00:09:49.000 It was not an insurrection.
00:09:50.000 How many insurrectionists get to the Senate floor of a nation's capital and take selfies and not burn the damn place down?
00:09:58.000 The Trump administration was not organized enough to run an insurrection.
00:10:02.000 And I say that as a huge Trump support.
00:10:05.000 So that's number one.
00:10:07.000 What's going to have to happen here is the Supreme Court is going to have to resolve this.
00:10:11.000 The American people are going to have to put President Trump back in the White House first.
00:10:16.000 This needs to be a big F you from the American people to the D.C. ruling elites that the American people get to pick the president of the United States, not D.C. insiders and the D.C. Uniparty.
00:10:30.000 Check out freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:10:33.000 I just want you all to have this sit in.
00:10:36.000 Nonviolent protesters on January 6th are going to serve a longer prison sentence than Hunter Biden.
00:10:42.000 A young man who made a meme making fun of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election is going to serve more prison time than Hunter Biden.
00:10:50.000 A meme maker.
00:10:52.000 But as my friend James Lindsay and I talked about yesterday, the regime and the tyrants, they need to lock up comedians.
00:10:58.000 They're putting mockery on a show trial with Douglas Mackey.
00:11:02.000 But if you're the son of a president, you get a special deal.
00:11:08.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:11:09.000 Every day, the parallel economy grows bigger and bigger.
00:11:12.000 It's powered by everyday Americans who are sick and tired of all the woke nonsense being jammed into every product they consume.
00:11:18.000 Big mobile companies are no different.
00:11:20.000 For years, they've been dumping millions into left-wing causes, and we had to take it because you need a cell phone and probably thought that there was no alternative.
00:11:28.000 Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
00:11:28.000 But there is.
00:11:32.000 They proudly offer dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks.
00:11:37.000 Stop using woke wireless as they fund Pride Month and all this stuff.
00:11:41.000 When you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a message that you support free speech, religious liberty, the sanctity of life, Second Amendment, and our military veterans and first responder heroes.

00:12:05.000 PatriotMobile.com slash Charlie or call them at 878-PATRIOT.
00:12:12.000 So, Mike Davis, I want to just say this.
00:12:14.000 We're hearing from across the conservative spectrum all about the sweetheart deal, but I want to kind of narrow in on something here.
00:12:22.000 Senator Chuck Grassley posed a question about Andrew Weissman, the federal prosecutor overseeing the Hunter Biden investigation.
00:12:29.000 Now, this is a different Weissman than the Weissman that goes on TV?
00:12:35.000 Yeah, I would assume so.
00:12:37.000 So, the federal prosecutor overseeing the Hunter Biden investigation plea deal.
00:12:42.000 And so, Senator Grassley's been asking questions here saying, quote, were his hands tied so that he couldn't look into credible allegations of bribery brought exposed by the House Oversight Committee.
00:12:51.000 If that's true, and Grassley rarely asks a question he doesn't know the answer to, who is giving those orders to limit the scope of the DOJ investigation?
00:12:59.000 Is it Garland?
00:13:01.000 Mike Davis, how should we think about this?
00:13:02.000 Kind of walk our audience through Senator Chuck Grassley.
00:13:04.000 I have a lot of respect for him.
00:13:06.000 He's incredible, especially considering his age.
00:13:08.000 It's remarkable.
00:13:09.000 How should we think about this, Mike Davis?
00:13:12.000 Well, Senator Grassley is my former boss, and he's the king of oversight, and he always undersells.
00:13:17.000 And if he's over the target on something, you can take it to the back, right?
00:13:21.000 And the U.S. attorney in Delaware is David Weiss.
00:13:26.000 Not Weissman, Weissman is the corrupt, the corrupt guy at Maine Justice.
00:13:32.000 But David Weiss is the...
00:13:33.000 I'm sorry, I get this.
00:13:35.000 I got the names all confused.
00:13:36.000 My fault.
00:13:37.000 Keep going.
00:13:38.000 I hear you.
00:13:38.000 It's hard to keep all these deep snakes straight, Charlie.
00:13:42.000 I'm with you.
00:13:43.000 So David Weiss is the U.S. attorney in Delaware.
00:13:46.000 He was handpicked by both Democrat and U.S. attorneys in Delaware.
00:13:51.000 I was the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee when this happens.
00:13:55.000 There is a process called the blue slip process, where these home state senators get to pick the U.S. attorney who will prosecute their corruption case, the U.S. District Court judge who will oversee their corruption trial, and the U.S. Marshal who will escort them to prison.
00:14:10.000 So you can bet your bottom dollar they're not going to pick people for these positions who are going to stray too far from their party line, right?
00:14:18.000 So David Weiss is the Democrats handpicked prosecutor under Trump, and David Weiss has been covering for the Bidens for years.
00:14:27.000 Attorney General Bill Barr sent in January 20, around January 2020, a referral to David Weiss that was deemed credible by a U.S. attorney in Pennsylvania that then Vice President Joe Biden took a $10 million foreign bribe and changed American policy.
00:14:45.000 What the hell did David Weiss do with that allegation for how many years now?
00:14:50.000 Why wasn't that allegation reported to Congress by Barr or Weiss?
00:14:54.000 Why, or at least senior congressional officials to let them know, hey, we may have a potential president of the United States who is compromised by a $10 million foreign bribe and may have to be impeached and removed from office if this ends up being true.
00:15:11.000 Weiss buried this allegation.
00:15:13.000 Weiss also sat on these charges with Hunter Biden and then charged Hunter Biden with two misdemeanors and a deferred sentence on a felony gun charge.
00:15:23.000 The felony gun charge will go away if Hunter can behave himself.
00:15:27.000 And these two misdemeanor charges are for essentially tax evasion from 2017 and 2018.
00:15:34.000 Well, guess when Joe Biden would have taken that $10 million foreign bribe from Burisma in 2017, 2018.
00:15:42.000 And it looks like David Weiss is trying to just make all that go away.
00:15:45.000 Just bury that evidence and charge Hunter Biden with these bogus misdemeanors, slap him on the hand and cover for the Bidens like David Weiss has been doing for years.
00:15:57.000 So we're running out of time here.
00:15:58.000 Mike Davis, 30 seconds, this quick as you can.
00:16:01.000 How is this all going to play out?
00:16:02.000 Are we going to see any accountability of Hunter Biden or is it now parking ticket for Hunter insurrection for Trump?
00:16:09.000 Final thoughts?
00:16:10.000 It's going to play out how it always plays out.
00:16:12.000 The Democrats will get away with murder and they're going to try to put Trump in prison for the rest of his life.
00:16:19.000 They want him to die in prison over a fight with Biden's librarians and other bureaucrats over presidential records he's allowed to have under the Presidential Records Act.
00:16:31.000 This needs to be resolved by the American people in November of 2024.
00:16:35.000 If Trump is back in the White House, this all goes away.
00:16:39.000 If he's not back in the White House, he goes to prison to die.
00:16:42.000 Mike Davis, excellent commentary.
00:16:44.000 Thank you so much.
00:16:45.000 Thank you.
00:16:49.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:16:50.000 Mike Lindell's a great American patriot.
00:16:52.000 Don't you agree?
00:16:53.000 We need to support Mike Lindell.
00:16:55.000 The FBI went after him.
00:16:56.000 It's terrible.
00:16:57.000 Well, look, one way we can support Mike Lindell against these tyrants, these despots, these dictators, is MyPillow.

00:17:51.000 Joining us now is Lila Rose from Live Action, an organization that I'm a monthly donor to.
00:17:55.000 You guys should check them out.
00:17:56.000 They do a great job.
00:17:57.000 Lila, for the 11 years that I was running Turning Point USA, for as long as I can remember, I was told that Roe versus Wade would never be repealed.
00:18:06.000 It's impossible.
00:18:06.000 It can't happen.
00:18:07.000 Well, now we're at the one-year anniversary of Roe versus Wade being repealed.
00:18:11.000 What is the lesson that we should learn?
00:18:13.000 How did that historic accomplishment happen?
00:18:16.000 I mean, Charlie, it happened, and you know this because you live this at Turning Point USA.
00:18:21.000 It's sheer grit and vision, determination, grit, and vision.
00:18:26.000 Because if we see what's possible, and it is possible, it's possible to end abortion in this country.
00:18:31.000 It is.
00:18:32.000 It's possible to change the culture.
00:18:33.000 It's possible to restore Judeo-Christian values.
00:18:37.000 If we believe this and then we fight with determination to accomplish it, great things can happen.
00:18:43.000 So that was the lesson of Roe v. Wade being overruled.
00:18:46.000 Many decades of work went into that.
00:18:48.000 Live Action had our part to play, but many other organizations and individuals.
00:18:52.000 And here we are today.
00:18:53.000 And now we have endless opportunities in front of us.
00:18:57.000 The question is now, what will we do with the opportunity we have been handed with the fall of Roe v. Wade?
00:19:04.000 Will we sit and rest on our laurels?
00:19:06.000 Will we just grow complacent?
00:19:08.000 Or will we double down and say, okay, we are within reach of ending abortion.
00:19:12.000 Let's get this done.
00:19:13.000 And that's what Live Action is single-mindedly focused on at this time.
00:19:17.000 The left went all in on judicial activism with the war in court and the burger court.
00:19:24.000 We saw the power of what the courts could do, and it just took us by surprise.
00:19:27.000 We got some terrible decisions.
00:19:29.000 And then we saw Planned Parenthood v. Casey in the early 90s, and conservatives adjusted.
00:19:34.000 We're late to the game, but once we get into the game, we usually win.
00:19:38.000 This is what the lesson is.
00:19:39.000 And once we saw Planned Parenthood v. Casey, which was Anthony Kennedy's ridiculous, meandering, barely coherent psycho babble about you could have your own truth and this whole nonsense, all of a sudden the conservative movement said, that's it.
00:19:52.000 We have to start to go into law schools.
00:19:54.000 We have to start to train young lawyers to become clerks and eventually judges.
00:19:59.000 We have to prioritize judges as a political issue.
00:20:04.000 And that's kind of wonky and esoteric and abstract, but it actually wasn't in 2016.
00:20:08.000 One of the most powerful parts that Donald Trump used to persuade skeptical voters against him was like, hey, here's my Supreme Court justices.
00:20:15.000 And yes, so Lila, talk about the multiple decades of activism.
00:20:18.000 You've been doing this for a while.
00:20:19.000 You started in the pro-life movement very young.
00:20:22.000 Talk about the little work of the pregnancy crisis center to the grandma that gives $5 a month to the people that pray and fast for their nation for this to happen.
00:20:32.000 This did not happen overnight.
00:20:34.000 What happened a year ago was multiple decades of faith, belief, and as you say, grit.
00:20:40.000 Tell us more.
00:20:41.000 Yes.
00:20:42.000 Well, first off, we have to give credit where credit's due with regard to the amazing judicial appointments, the Supreme Justices that we got under President Trump, and no small part due to the Federalist Society and Leonard Leo working hard to help have a good bench to pick from.
00:20:58.000 I mean, the fact that we had Amy Coney Barrett to choose from and President Trump has Amy Coney Barrett to choose from was because of the long, painstaking work of the Federalist Society and other organizations, Alliance Defending Freedom, others.
00:21:10.000 So there's that side.
00:21:11.000 The legal side is very real and very important.
00:21:13.000 But there's something else happening.
00:21:14.000 And that's what you just referenced, Charlie, that before Roe was overturned, there were decades of cultural renewal happening and a movement building that was demanding a change on the Supreme Court and demanding the overruling of Roe and beyond that, demanding complete legal protection for the pre-born child.
00:21:36.000 And there's three main parts I want to reference here or mention here.
00:21:38.000 Number one, you mentioned them, the pregnancy resource center movement.
00:21:42.000 There are now thousands, over 4,000 pregnancy resource centers in this country.
00:21:47.000 They outnumber abortion clinics vastly.
00:21:50.000 And these pregnancy centers have been established since the 70s and even some before.
00:21:55.000 And they are done every day.
00:21:56.000 The hard work is done in small communities by everyday folks, you know, a lot of grandparents, parents who are involved in serving women and families, providing free support, pregnancy resources, prenatal exams, diapers, wipes, parenting classes, job placement, anything you can imagine to help young families choose life instead of choosing abortion.
00:22:17.000 They're not tax funded.
00:22:18.000 They are supported by everyday Americans and there are thousands of them.
00:22:21.000 And they are the hidden heroes of our movement.
00:22:24.000 So it's the service side of the movement, the care side of the movement.
00:22:26.000 Then there's the educational work and that's Live Action.
00:22:29.000 That's other organizations that are out there every day.
00:22:32.000 I turned point USA is doing this on social media, on college campuses, fighting to change hearts and minds.
00:22:38.000 Because the reality is if we lose the next generation, it's game over.
00:22:41.000 It doesn't matter that Roe is overruled.
00:22:42.000 It doesn't matter that we've made any progress because we've lost the culture.
00:22:47.000 And the reality is the culture is waiting to be won.
00:22:50.000 It really is.
00:22:50.000 People's minds are not made up, lockset on abortion.
00:22:54.000 They are open to hearing the truth if they'll hear it, but they're being brainwashed.
00:22:58.000 You know, decades of indoctrination from our public school system, our media.
00:23:01.000 So the solution is education by becoming the media, becoming independent media sources, Live Action News, other groups out there, you know, Daily Wire, amazing organizations that have sprung up in the last few decades.
00:23:12.000 And then obviously challenging the lies and the indoctrination on school campuses.
00:23:17.000 And then the last piece of it is politics.
00:23:19.000 It's galvanizing and activating everyday Americans.
00:23:23.000 Live Action's list is about a million strong of people that are activating in political ways.
00:23:28.000 So, you know, calling for us to defund Planned Parenthood, defund the abortion industry.
00:23:33.000 Planned Parenthood lost their first taxpayer dollars, Charlie, about a decade ago.
00:23:37.000 Before that, no one dared touch their funding.
00:23:39.000 It was taboo by Republicans and Democrats.
00:23:42.000 Anybody who dared to challenge Planned Parenthood was seen as you're against women, you're against families.
00:23:47.000 That's changed in the last decade because of investigative journalism, Live Action, David DeLeiden, other groups.
00:23:52.000 And now there's a political lobby to say we want to shut down Planned Parenthood and a political lobby, many of them young activists, millennials, Gen Zers, who are saying, We want complete legal protection.
00:24:04.000 And these are the people that are going to vote into office strong candidates.
00:24:07.000 They're going to demand strong pro-life legislation.
00:24:10.000 And guess what, Charlie?
00:24:11.000 In just the last year, we saw unprecedented pro-life legislation being proposed, over 360 pro-life bills at the state level.
00:24:21.000 And in the last few years, we've seen heartbeat laws, we've seen complete abortion bans.
00:24:24.000 Texas has a complete abortion ban now.
00:24:26.000 It's amazing.
00:24:27.000 It's amazing and exciting.
00:24:29.000 And it's because of all of this momentum that's been created through service, through education, and through political activation.
00:24:36.000 And we have to think big and we have to cast a vision without the vision without a vision people perish.
00:24:41.000 So, Lila, give me now a sense.
00:24:43.000 One year later, are you happy with how we've reacted to the reversal of Roe?
00:24:49.000 Do you think that there's been some sheepishness from people on the center right?
00:24:53.000 Do you think that people are running to the hills too much?
00:24:55.000 Give me a scorecard.
00:24:57.000 Roe versus Wade repealed Dobbs' decision one year later.
00:25:02.000 Lila, healthy, unhealthy, fearful, courageous.
00:25:05.000 Where are we?
00:25:07.000 It's a great question, Charlie.
00:25:09.000 And I'm going to split up my answer actually based on the care side, the education side, and the politics side.
00:25:14.000 And I'll start with the bad news first, because there is some bad news.
00:25:18.000 When Roe v. Wade fell, the pro-life movement, many of us, especially in the education and the care side, working with students, working with pregnancy centers, was ready to go.
00:25:29.000 It's like, send us your women.
00:25:31.000 We're here to care for you.
00:25:32.000 We're fighting the good fight to educate more people and combating the misinformation coming from the pro-abortion side.
00:25:37.000 There's been an avalanche of misinformation.
00:25:39.000 But in politics, we did fumble the ball.
00:25:43.000 And what that looked like post-Roe v. Wade last summer was that a lot of leaders, quite frankly, they should have been leaders, political leaders, politicians who were GOP, card-carrying Republicans who had been very pro-life, suddenly didn't want to talk about life anymore.
00:26:00.000 They were scared to talk about it.
00:26:02.000 The left reacted so vehemently to the Roe v. Wade overruling to Dobbsy Jackson that they basically a lot of Republicans ran scared.
00:26:10.000 And so you had the midterm election.
00:26:12.000 And, you know, there was a narrative formed by media that said, well, the Republicans got crushed in the midterm because of abortion, because there was a backlash to the Roe decision.
00:26:21.000 No, that's not actually what happened.
00:26:23.000 What happened, Charlie, is we were outspent over 30 to one.
00:26:27.000 Every 30 pro-abortion dollars in the midterms was only matched by one pro-life dollar.
00:26:32.000 And that was the decision of candidates and the RNC who decided we're not going to invest in the pro-life message.
00:26:39.000 And then you had candidates who were not good candidates or who were scared of the pro-life issue and wouldn't even address it.
00:26:45.000 So what would happen is their opponent would say, you hate women.
00:26:48.000 You want to attack women's reproductive rights.
00:26:51.000 And the pro-life candidate would just change the topic.
00:26:53.000 Let's talk about the autonomy.
00:26:54.000 Let's talk about COVID.
00:26:55.000 No, you should talk about that women deserve care and support and mothers deserve that and children deserve life.
00:27:03.000 It's a fundamental constitutional human right.
00:27:05.000 And we're going to fight for the right for the least of these.
00:27:08.000 They should have done the winsome messaging that our movement's capable of, but they flinched.
00:27:13.000 They got scared.
00:27:13.000 And so what happened?
00:27:14.000 Surprise, surprise, they lost.
00:27:16.000 And then something else bad happened is when they lost, it became this negative feedback loop where they said, well, we lost because of the life issue.
00:27:22.000 No, you lost because you didn't even try.
00:27:24.000 You lost because you ran for the hills.
00:27:27.000 And so, the pro-abortion side, that's all anybody heard from because the pro-life side wasn't even competing because they were either not funded or they were just quiet.
00:27:34.000 I will say, though, Governor DeSantis won by a landslide.
00:27:38.000 I mean, he won in a purple slate by a purple state by a landslide, and he just passed the heartbeat law.
00:27:44.000 And his heartbeat law, banning abortion after six weeks, Charlie, has more support of more Democrats in Florida than not.
00:27:51.000 So, 54% of Democrats support the heartbeat law in Florida, and it's over 60% of Latino Democrats.
00:27:57.000 So, it's a winning issue.
00:27:58.000 Life is a winning issue if there's bold and strong leadership.
00:28:03.000 So, yeah.
00:28:04.000 Well, and my we got to take a break, Lila, but they have to be able to explain it.
00:28:09.000 I mean, I go to these, I laugh at these candidates.
00:28:11.000 Oh, I don't want to talk about abortion.
00:28:12.000 Lila, you do this too.
00:28:14.000 I go to UCSB University of California, Santa Barbara, which is like one of the most pro-abortion, like pro-free sex, licentiousness culture.
00:28:24.000 You just have to, you have to lay it out there.
00:28:25.000 And some of the most viral content we have, and it's good dialogue.
00:28:29.000 It's strong stuff.
00:28:30.000 I mean, Lil, you've done this at Berkeley.
00:28:31.000 I've done this at Berkeley.
00:28:32.000 I've done it at Stanford.
00:28:33.000 I've done it at you.
00:28:34.000 Have to stand for truth.
00:28:36.000 The truth is worth defending.
00:28:39.000 In fact, it was this most amazing thing.
00:28:41.000 We can get the clip.
00:28:42.000 I asked this young man, he's a nice enough kid.
00:28:46.000 And I said, How many abortions do you think there are every single year in the country?
00:28:50.000 He says 20,000 about, yeah, it's a million, right?
00:28:52.000 So, I mean, just by an order of magnitude, their politics are getting misinformed on the issue.
00:28:58.000 If you stay silent, you allow the enemy to define you, but it takes courage.
00:29:01.000 And also, you got to know what you're talking about, which is something Lila certainly does on this issue.
00:29:06.000 So, Lila, let's money is definitely an issue.
00:29:10.000 You know, we have to keep pressing on.
00:29:12.000 But do you see in the kind of grassroots of the pro-life movement, do you see renewed resolve?
00:29:19.000 Do you feel as if we have momentum, or do we kind of have to take a pause, recalibrate, and take more ground?
00:29:25.000 Where do you think we are that the pro-life movement is temperamentally and attitudinally at right now?
00:29:33.000 I think the movement, the grassroots movement, Charlie, is extremely fired up.
00:29:37.000 I mean, we're mega-fired up.
00:29:40.000 We just launched a new coalition movement called the New North Star.
00:29:45.000 Over two dozen pro-life groups, the leading pro-life groups and intellectuals, and they are calling for complete legal protection for the pre-born at the federal and state level, as promised by our 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
00:29:58.000 The 14th Amendment promises equal protection under the law for all people, and that no state has the right to deprive them of their life without due process.
00:30:07.000 That's exactly what abortion does.
00:30:09.000 It deprives children of their lives without any due process.
00:30:11.000 Obviously, they're innocent.
00:30:13.000 And so, this coalition is the new focus of our movement because before it was focused on, okay, let's overrule Roe v. Wade.
00:30:20.000 Let's just get rid of Roe v. Wade.
00:30:22.000 It's so evil.
00:30:23.000 1973 Supreme Court decision killed over 60 million children since Roe.
00:30:28.000 I mean, just horrific bloodshed since that unjust Supreme Court ruling.
00:30:32.000 Now it's gone.
00:30:33.000 So what's next?
00:30:34.000 And the movement's answer is this: now it's time to enshrine complete protection by law for our youngest Americans.
00:30:42.000 And that's already promised under the 14th Amendment.
00:30:44.000 We don't need a new constitutional amendment.
00:30:46.000 It's already there in the Constitution.
00:30:47.000 That right to life is guaranteed.
00:30:49.000 So what's the mandate?
00:30:50.000 The mandate is, and now the grassroots are calling for this.
00:30:53.000 If you are a politician and you're at the state level, it is your job, it is your duty, your responsibility to fight for complete protection for the child, not exceptions, not saying, well, some children don't deserve life or let's make this exception for the sick baby or the disabled baby.
00:31:09.000 It should be a complete legal protection for that child.
00:31:12.000 And so we're looking to raise up the next generation of lawmakers who have this vision, like our Texas lawmakers, who have passed complete abortion abolition in their state and every child's protected in Texas.
00:31:22.000 That is the future of the state level fight.
00:31:25.000 And then at the federal level, Charlie, we've got a presidential race coming up, as you know.
00:31:30.000 And so the next step for the movement, along with galvanizing people and educating people, what we're doing every day, is to demand from our political leadership bold leadership.
00:31:40.000 You know, this is the most important human rights issue of the day.
00:31:43.000 We need clear-eyed, visionary leaders who are going to fight, fight for human lives.
00:31:49.000 And that's what we're looking at the presidential field right now for candidates for 2024.
00:31:54.000 And there's some promising candidates.
00:31:55.000 There's some good options on the ballot to explore.
00:31:59.000 And the call to them is don't just say this is a state's issue.
00:32:03.000 Yes, the states are going to be fighting for this.
00:32:04.000 But the federal government has a lot of work that they can do.
00:32:08.000 They can ban the abortion drug.
00:32:09.000 The Food and Drug Administration, part of the executive branch, can ban that abortion drug that's killing over 50% of the 2,500 babies every day.
00:32:17.000 You know, over 1,200 babies are killed every day by the abortion drug.
00:32:21.000 That can be banned by the FDA.
00:32:22.000 You can defund Planned Parenthood.
00:32:24.000 You can make a resolution from the executive branch saying we are calling on Congress to take action.
00:32:31.000 There's a lot that can be done.
00:32:32.000 So the focus of the movement is, yes, education and service, like we were talking about earlier, Charlie, serving women, educating people, but it's also that complete, that new North Star, complete protection for the child, the banning of abortion for all children to be protected as promised by the 14th Amendment.
00:32:50.000 Lila Rose, everybody, thank you so much, Lila, and congratulations on your role in helping get Roe versus Wade overturned.
00:32:56.000 Lila, thank you so much.
00:32:58.000 Thank you, Charlie, for all you do and for all the support.
00:33:01.000 Thank you.
00:33:01.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:03.000 Look, the easy way would be to go to these campuses and just say, okay, you know, abortion is fine.
00:33:09.000 Let's have low taxes.
00:33:10.000 But you got to lean into the tough arguments.
00:33:11.000 You have to lean into the ones that get people engaged.
00:33:16.000 I got to tell you, when we go to these campuses, we're winning hearts and minds over.
00:33:20.000 We are.
00:33:20.000 We are able to have dialogue and discourse in a very, very powerful way.
00:33:27.000 But I want to just close on this.
00:33:28.000 I mentioned this a couple of times.
00:33:29.000 I think it's really important.
00:33:32.000 What is the next moonshot?
00:33:34.000 What is the next North Star?
00:33:37.000 What is the next big thing that we are told is impossible?
00:33:41.000 What is the next massive accomplishment that we want to achieve, that we are being told will never happen?
00:33:48.000 I was told that will never happen.
00:33:50.000 Stop talking about Roe versus Wade.
00:33:51.000 What is the next big thing?
00:33:53.000 We need to think bigger as a movement.
00:33:57.000 Because 10 years ago, it was not even close to being something that was entertained.
00:34:04.000 It was always Republicans.
00:34:05.000 Well, Roe versus Wade is a law of land.
00:34:06.000 First of all, it's not law of land.
00:34:07.000 It wasn't passed by Congress, interpretation by the Supreme Court.
00:34:10.000 But we have to think bigger as a conservative movement, planned for the longer horizon.
00:34:15.000 And the activists who delivered the reversal of Roe versus Wade, we have a lot to learn from them.
00:34:20.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:21.000 Email us your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:26.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:34:28.000 God bless.
