00:02:49.000 It's not like that we're Democrats, that we're going to keep putting up with nonsense and people that are not relevant and can't do the job.

00:03:24.000 There is a pattern here, and it really started with Hegseth.

00:03:36.000 Everything changed with Hegseth.

00:03:38.000 Walk us through that and the significance of getting Pete across the finish line and how that set the pattern for Trump running the table.

00:03:46.000 Well, first of all, I think at the end of the day, he was going to be the hardest to get through because they thought they had all kind of dirt on Pete.

00:03:55.000 They said he wasn't a general.

00:03:58.000 He hasn't been in the Pentagon.

00:04:00.000 But guess what?

00:04:01.000 He's from a different era.

00:04:03.000 He's from the recruiting era.

00:04:05.000 He can communicate.

00:04:06.000 And that's what I like about Pete.

00:04:08.000 I said, listen.

00:04:09.000 Whether you can do the job or not, that's going to be up to you.

00:04:13.000 I like you're able to communicate to the warfighter.

00:04:16.000 You've been in two wars recently.

00:04:18.000 You haven't been sitting at a desk worrying about who's going to open your door and go get your lunch for you in the Pentagon.

00:04:28.000 He's got all kind of energy all over the border.

00:04:31.000 Today he's meeting with some of the combatant commanders here in Washington, D.C. He will do a great job.

00:04:36.000 But at the end of the day, The president deserves credit here for putting forth changemakers and disruptors and for standing by his nominees.

00:04:59.000 Somebody else who deserves credit is Vice President J.D. Vance.

00:05:03.000 Can you give us a little bit of an idea of how the vice president has been Working the calls, working the phones, and doing some meetings to try to get these cabinets the approval of the U.S. Senate.

00:05:15.000 Yeah, well, first of all, he's been over here in the Senate buildings walking around some of the nominees going from office to office.

00:05:22.000 He's been on the phone talking to people that have doubts on whether they're going to vote to confirm.

00:05:27.000 So J.D.'s been a great communication piece from President Trump all the way over here to the Senate, and he knows all of us, and he's been with us for almost two years.

00:05:37.000 It's really worked great.

00:05:38.000 Again, J.D.'s a great communicator.

00:05:40.000 I think everybody's seen that.

00:05:41.000 But he also has been in the military.

00:05:44.000 He has done things out of the ordinary.

00:05:47.000 He's kind of a different type of senator that didn't come from the political realm.

00:05:52.000 He comes from an area across the country that was in private business.

00:05:57.000 He was obviously well-educated, but he was also in the military.

00:06:01.000 He's just a perfect scenario to be vice president.

00:06:05.000 And you can tell the Democrats and the mainstream media hate him because he can come back right at them with any kind of response on any kind of item that they try to pin him up against the wall with.

00:06:17.000 So, Coach, in front of us we have pretty miraculous, looking back a couple weeks, and now we are seeing the legislative agenda start to get more clarity.

00:06:28.000 What can we expect out of the U.S. Senate?

00:06:30.000 We know about this one big bill or two bills.

00:06:32.000 But there has to be other smaller pieces of legislation that you are working on, other topics.

00:06:38.000 Give our audience some idea of the legislative calendar, because this is precious time right now.

00:06:44.000 Once you get the cabinet through, we need to start to deliver for the American people through Article 1 and Article 2 working together.

00:06:51.000 Well, exactly, Charlie.

00:06:53.000 And the thing that I'd like to bring up is, as senators, you know, we've got the floor.

00:06:58.000 We can get things passed.

00:07:00.000 We can get things at least to the floor of the Senate where they get a vote, where Schumer, he'd never bring anything up.

00:07:05.000 For instance, I've got a good example.

00:07:07.000 Twice I had a vote on the Senate floor in the middle of the night, by the way, at what we call a vote-a-rama on Women and Girls in the Sports Act, the transgender boys, biological boys playing against women. 0.94

00:07:21.000 Tomorrow, President Trump, I'm going to the White House.

00:07:23.000 He's having Title IX day and having a summer that has some things to do with Title IX. And we're celebrating that, but I need to get that to the floor.

00:07:33.000 He's got an executive order blocking men and women's sports, but we have to make it law because if we don't, the next Democrat president comes in, they'll just go right back to letting biological boys play against girls sports, and they're going to ruin it at the end of the day. 0.94

00:07:48.000 It's not a small thing, but it's things like that that we can get to the floor.

00:07:52.000 The one thing that we have to do, though, is we have to get this reconciliation going and get these jobs and tax cuts permanent.

00:07:59.000 We've got to do that because we don't we'll lose the House in two years and President Trump's hands will be tied.

00:08:05.000 So we've got to get the reconciliation bill done and done in a hurry.

00:08:09.000 There are reports that we know Pete Hegseth is on the border, that military aircraft is doing reconnaissance and surveillance flights over the interior of Mexico.

00:08:18.000 If President Trump were to approve surgical military strikes against.

00:08:23.000 Oh, I'd be for it 100%.

00:08:28.000 They have killed thousands and thousands of Americans. 0.65

00:08:31.000 The cartel of pushing drugs, not just fentanyl, but all kinds of drugs across our border, human trafficking, the rapes that are going on, the murders even before these young people or people coming to the border have died because they're...

00:08:46.000 Because of the costs that they can't pay when they get to the border to pay the cartels.

00:08:52.000 And then a lot of them are sacrificing their families to get here.

00:08:56.000 And once they get here, they have to pay the cartels thousands and thousands of dollars through the mail.

00:09:03.000 And if they don't, their families' lives will be lost by the cartel because they hold them accountable.

00:09:08.000 There's so many things going on.

00:09:10.000 Mexico can't handle it. 0.87

00:09:11.000 Of course, Mexico is a very corrupt country.

00:09:14.000 But I don't know whether President Trump would do that.

00:09:17.000 I would be all for our military helping the Mexican military overcome the cartels because it is a disease that has affected Mexico and the United States for many, many years.

00:09:32.000 If we are willing to provide cluster bombs to the Ukrainian army to fight Russia, if we are willing to send American missiles into the interior of Russia, why would we not be willing? 0.68

00:09:47.000 We're no fans of Russia on this show, but they're not killing kids in suburban Birmingham right now.

00:12:25.000 If convicted, the individual can face five years for each instance of harboring and ten years if it was done for financial gain.

00:12:33.000 Encouraging or assisting immigration 8 U.S. Code 1324-1A Part 4 It is also illegal to encourage or assist someone in entering or remaining in the United States illegally.

00:12:46.000 Penalties for this can also include significant prison time, depending on the nature and the scope of the offense.

00:12:55.000 Yesterday, a clip surfaced of the deeply unpopular governor of New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy, who was in some sort of an interview and was bragging.

00:13:09.000 He was bragging that he is breaking a federal law.

00:13:13.000 Governor Phil Murphy is breaking 8 U.S. Code, Section 1324. So smug, almost taunting the federal government to come after him.

00:13:25.000 Talking about, I don't want to get into too much detail, but there's someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to.

00:13:40.000 And we said, you know what, let's have her live at our house above our garage. 1.00

00:13:49.000 So we don't quite know what that means, an immigration status, not where she wants it to be.

00:13:54.000 Is it someone illegal, someone waiting for paperwork?

00:13:58.000 But it sure sounds like the way he ended that statement.

00:14:02.000 That he is taunting federal authorities, saying, I'm breaking the law.

00:14:07.000 I'm the governor of New Jersey.

00:14:11.000 Well, Tom Homan had some very sharp words in response to this.

00:14:16.000 Let's play cut 63. Tom Homan, border czar, responding to Governor Murphy.

00:14:22.000 63. I think the governor's pretty foolish saying what he said, because I got note of it.

00:14:30.000 We'll look into it.

00:14:31.000 And if he's ignoringly, ignoringly harboring, concealing an illegal alien, that's a violation of Title VIII, United States Code 1324.

00:14:38.000 I will seek prosecution or the secretary will seek prosecution.

00:14:41.000 So maybe he's bluffing.

00:14:43.000 If he's not, we'll deal with that.

00:14:45.000 And as far as suing sanctuary cities, well, get in line because the Trump administration is going to do that already.

00:14:50.000 Sanctuary cities are sanctuary for criminals.

00:14:54.000 If Governor Murphy is breaking federal law and taunting and provoking the feds, just file an indictment.

00:15:00.000 You don't have to raid the governor's mansion.

00:15:02.000 You don't have to make some big spectacle.

00:15:04.000 But you have no choice.

00:15:05.000 You don't get to selectively choose which immigration laws you're going to live under.

00:15:10.000 And I would do a wide-sweeping indictment of everybody involved in such circumstances.

00:15:15.000 Either we're a nation of laws or we are not.

00:15:18.000 And if you do not like 8 U.S. Code, Section 1324, then go to the House of Representatives and have them change the law.

00:15:30.000 Don't say, I'm not going to live under those laws.

00:15:34.000 Remember they were telling us under President Trump, no one is above the law?

00:15:38.000 Well, here you have a governor admitting that he's breaking federal law.

00:15:44.000 And in a non-dramatic way, very matter-of-fact, very business, you don't need to do a big press conference, investigate it.

00:15:51.000 If it is true that the governor of New Jersey is indeed harboring an illegal alien, file an indictment.

00:15:58.000 Make him stand and say, hey, you can turn yourself in whenever you want.

00:16:01.000 You can go bring your state troopers.

00:16:04.000 Come in for processing.

00:16:05.000 You have a week to do so.

00:16:07.000 We're not going to go raid the governor's mansion.

00:16:09.000 We're not going to go make a big spectacle out of it.

00:16:12.000 We're not going to go do the Mar-a-Lago thing.

00:16:15.000 You have one week to turn yourself in to the Southern District of New York or the New Jersey U.S. Attorney's Office.
