00:00:00.000 Thank you for listening to this podcast one production.
00:00:02.000 Now available on Apple Podcasts, Podcast 1, Spotify, and anywhere else you get your podcasts.
00:00:08.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:09.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:00:12.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:15.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:18.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:19.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:20.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:00:27.000 Turning point USA.
00:00:29.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:00:37.000 That's why we are here.
00:00:40.000 President Trump has tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus.
00:00:46.000 It's almost 3 a.m. Eastern.
00:00:48.000 I woke up as my phone was buzzing.
00:00:52.000 And I usually turn my phone on airplane mode, but my phone was just buzzing relentlessly.
00:00:58.000 And I checked it, and my worst suspicions right before I went to bed were confirmed.
00:01:04.000 As soon as I saw Hope Hicks, a friend of mine, test positive for the Chinese coronavirus, that was one of the last things I read before I went to bed.
00:01:13.000 I said, something here is not adding up.
00:01:17.000 Everyone in the White House has to be tested before they see the president.
00:01:21.000 Anyone that goes into the Oval Office has to be tested.
00:01:25.000 And anyone that goes on Air Force One has to be tested.
00:01:28.000 And the president also has to be tested every couple days.
00:01:32.000 So if Hope Hicks tested positive, I could only guess that there was more to this story.
00:01:38.000 And as you have seen the news, a couple hours later, President Trump tweeted that he has the Chinese coronavirus, and he has tested positive.
00:01:47.000 And he said, we are, quote, all in this together.
00:01:50.000 It is hard to put into words the significance of this.
00:01:53.000 In some ways, it is almost the fitting final chapter in what has been one of the most eventful, unpredictable, consequential years in American history.
00:02:08.000 First of all, I just want to say a prayer for the president and that we pray for his health and his safety and his healing.
00:02:16.000 It's hard to even put into words the severity of this moment.
00:02:23.000 And I am confident that he will be able to recover and get the best treatment on the planet and get the best medical help available.
00:02:32.000 Mortality rates have dropped 85% since April.
00:02:37.000 Praise God.
00:02:38.000 However, in just the 90 minutes that we have now known that the president has the Chinese coronavirus, on CNN, they already have a physician who has said that President Trump has a 25% chance of dying.
00:02:52.000 Linda Sarsour, the far left-wing activist, has said, quote, seems like someone doesn't want to go back on the debate stage with an emoji of a thinking face.
00:03:02.000 It is nothing new, presidents being threatened or presidents being under attack.
00:03:08.000 Gerald Ford was shot at in the streets of San Francisco.
00:03:12.000 Ronald Reagan was shot and hospitalized just a couple years into his presidency.
00:03:18.000 Of course, John F. Kennedy was shot in the streets of Dallas.
00:03:21.000 His brother, Bobby Kennedy, killed in the streets.
00:03:24.000 It's nothing new that presidents are under attack.
00:03:27.000 William McKinley was killed, and Teddy Roosevelt, then vice president, took over as president of the United States.
00:03:34.000 And so presidents sometimes get put under duress.
00:03:38.000 Rarely are they 32 days out from an election.
00:03:42.000 And this is going to change almost everything.
00:03:44.000 This will not just be a news story.
00:03:47.000 This is now going to be the news story.
00:03:49.000 This will be the most consequential news story since the Chinese coronavirus really started to pick up pace in March and April.
00:03:58.000 Political prognosticators and pundits will start to say that Donald Trump failed to protect the country and he couldn't even protect himself.
00:04:07.000 In fact, as I say that, I just received a text of a tweet from George Conway, who runs the Never Trump organization Lincoln Project, who says this: He failed to protect the country.
00:04:18.000 He couldn't even protect himself.
00:04:20.000 I could write these tweets for these people.
00:04:22.000 So instead of wishing the president well, instead of praying for his health, instead of trying to make this a non-political moment, they are wishing death and trying to turn this into a political divide in the country.
00:04:36.000 This is of no surprise to those of us that know the American left and know the base of the Democrat Party.
00:04:43.000 And I hate to put it in that kind of political terms, but I am just watching tweet after tweet after tweet come in and wish that the president dies.
00:04:54.000 The Washington Post just published an op-ed that says, Imagine what it will be like to never have to think about Trump again.
00:05:04.000 That's the Washington Post.
00:05:06.000 Trending on Twitter, of course, is Trump being diagnosed with the Chinese coronavirus.
00:05:11.000 Let me read some of these tweets for you.
00:05:14.000 If Trump has coronavirus is true, and he went on to debate, he is evil.
00:05:20.000 Hope he dies.
00:05:21.000 This is another Twitter account.
00:05:23.000 Next one.
00:05:24.000 Okay, now when can we see this?
00:05:26.000 And it's a figurine or a caricature of Donald Trump in the casket.
00:05:31.000 Now, these people's awful venom may ultimately politically benefit the president in an unexpected way.
00:05:38.000 They may actually succeed in making the president a sympathetic figure.
00:05:42.000 But I don't even want to look at this in terms of too much political.
00:05:45.000 Let's just look at this historical and moral.
00:05:48.000 It doesn't matter if you're on the left.
00:05:49.000 It doesn't matter if you're a Democrat.
00:05:51.000 Right now, you should say a prayer for the president.
00:05:55.000 The president is now infected directly from an epidemiological attack from the Chinese Communist Party.
00:06:03.000 It'll be very interesting to see how the Biden campaign reacts to this or does not react to it.
00:06:07.000 Joe Biden will probably just call Lyd and stay in his basement.
00:06:12.000 Joe Biden won't do much of anything.
00:06:15.000 And let's just not forget, a week and a half ago, Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away.
00:06:21.000 So in this one year, we've had impeachment, the Chinese coronavirus, almost going to war with Iran, shutting down our country, losing 200,000 Americans, BLM Incorporated, race riots, and now President Donald Trump coming down with the Chinese coronavirus.
00:06:41.000 Andrew Yang, who is supposed to be a decent voice on the Democrat Party, says, geez, I hope Joe is nowhere near him on Tuesday.
00:06:49.000 Not, oh, I hope he recovers.
00:06:51.000 Not, oh, I hope that you recover.
00:06:53.000 Oh, I hope I wish you well.
00:06:54.000 Instead, leading Democrats are looking at this purely through political lenses.
00:07:00.000 So, how do presidents react under duress?
00:07:03.000 That's who we find out who they really are.
00:07:06.000 I know President Trump.
00:07:08.000 I know that he's a fighter.
00:07:09.000 You might be listening to this podcast, you might just have hatred for Donald Trump.
00:07:13.000 You might think he's the worst person ever.
00:07:16.000 I challenge you not to wish harm or death upon your political opponents.
00:07:23.000 I challenge you to not celebrate when somebody that you dislike passes away.
00:07:29.000 We did not do that after Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
00:07:32.000 And I'm not saying President Trump is even statistically at risk of that.
00:07:37.000 However, I am saying that the president right now is infected.
00:07:42.000 The president right now has been infected by a disease that, based on his age group, is something that should be taken seriously.
00:07:50.000 Rachel Maddow said something surprising.
00:07:53.000 She said, God bless the president and the first lady.
00:07:55.000 If you pray, please pray for the speedy and complete recovery and for everyone infected everywhere.
00:08:00.000 This virus is horrific and merciless.
00:08:02.000 No one would wish its wrath on anyone.
00:08:04.000 We must now get it spread under control enough.
00:08:06.000 That is the correct approach.
00:08:07.000 And I hope that more liberals take the same tact.
00:08:11.000 Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case for most people.
00:08:13.000 I've already read out a couple of those tweets here.
00:08:16.000 And this is going to become another political gladiator match.
00:08:19.000 This very well might put Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation fight in jeopardy.
00:08:23.000 This very well might put the entire campaign in complete confusion.
00:08:31.000 I don't know how this will play out politically.
00:08:34.000 I don't know how this will play out for our country.
00:08:36.000 But I do know that we are being tested.
00:08:39.000 That's what I do know.
00:08:40.000 I do know that this is the ultimate stress test for our country.
00:08:43.000 And the reason why I am recording this at nearly 3:30 Eastern, why a lot of you are sleeping and you're going to wake up to this news, because I want you to take away one big thing from this.
00:08:55.000 No matter what the Chinese or the bad guys throw at us, we are going to get through it.
00:09:00.000 We are stronger than anyone can ever imagine.
00:09:04.000 The American spirit is a spirit that will not be broken.
00:09:09.000 And so if you wake up today and you say, what hope is there for our country?
00:09:13.000 Or you're confused, hold fast and stay focused on the rugged, gritty American spirit.
00:09:20.000 We get stronger the more that we get pushed.
00:09:23.000 The harsher the trial, the stronger that we become as a country.
00:09:28.000 And we will overcome this.
00:09:31.000 The conspiracy theorists will be coming out from the media saying that maybe he really doesn't have it.
00:09:38.000 Maybe he's trying to change the narrative.
00:09:39.000 All of that's a bunch of nonsense.
00:09:42.000 But it's more important than ever for those of us decent Americans that love our country to stand behind our president regardless of political affiliation, where we actually look at this as a moment where we all come together.
00:09:57.000 That it's not the president that was infected, the presidency was infected.
00:10:02.000 And the Chinese Communist Party must be held accountable for this.
00:10:06.000 And I pray that they will.
00:10:08.000 Stay tuned to our program here in the Charlie Kirk show.
00:10:11.000 There is news coming in.
00:10:13.000 Mark Meadows just tested negative.
00:10:15.000 Melania Trump also tested positive.
00:10:17.000 And Hope Hicks tested positive.
00:10:20.000 This will be the news cycle.
00:10:22.000 And I'm going to tell you what.
00:10:23.000 Be more motivated if you're a supporter of the president to support him now because he needs you.
00:10:28.000 He needs you right now.
00:10:30.000 He is immobilized.
00:10:31.000 And we don't know if he's asymptomatic.
00:10:33.000 We don't know if he's going to have to require therapeutics.
00:10:37.000 We don't know.
00:10:38.000 But I do know that he is going to come out tougher and stronger from this.
00:10:43.000 And he needs you right now.
00:10:45.000 He needs your prayers.
00:10:46.000 He needs your energy.
00:10:47.000 He needs your backup.
00:10:49.000 He needs us to hold the line against people that are going to wish him to be dead in the ground.
00:10:54.000 And I hate to even say that, but I'm looking at these tweets pour in.
00:10:57.000 And it is outrageous, the venom that has infected our country.
00:11:02.000 We are the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world.
00:11:06.000 No matter what the bad guys throw at us, we will never surrender.
00:11:12.000 This moment will reveal the good and the bad all across the country.
00:11:16.000 It should be a post-political moment in one of the most political months in the history of the country.
00:11:24.000 Now that the president is immobilized and has to deal with this virus, what are you going to do?
00:11:30.000 Activate yourself.
00:11:31.000 Do something to defend your country, communicate our values.
00:11:36.000 And if I could be very honest with you guys, this is the most 2020 thing that could have possibly happened.
00:11:42.000 Supreme Court vacancy, Iran, impeachment, race riots, virus, lockdowns, and the leader of the free world of the greatest country ever to exist, infected with the Chinese coronavirus, 32 days out from the election.
00:11:59.000 We'll be back with more updates.
