00:01:14.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:17.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:26.000 This weekend, there was actually a flip.
00:01:29.000 There's so much negative news out there: negative, What if I told you that we flipped a governor's seat from Democrat to Republican?
00:01:40.000 That's good news, everybody.
00:01:43.000 It's a good sign ahead of 2024.
00:01:45.000 It's in a state that should be reliably Republican, but has a tricky tradition of electing Democrats in statewide offices.
00:01:52.000 And it's a great governor.
00:01:53.000 He's rock solid.
00:01:54.000 He does a lot with Turning Point USA.
00:01:56.000 He's a firm believer, Jeff Landry.
00:01:58.000 And we're talking about Louisiana.
00:02:00.000 Louisiana had a Democrat governor, Bell Edwards, I think was his name.
00:02:05.000 Boom, we flipped that out from Democrat to Republican.
00:02:09.000 And someone who is largely responsible for that is someone that we are partnering on a lot of different stuff is Scott Pressler from Early Vote Action.
00:02:16.000 Scott, congratulations.
00:02:18.000 You were working it very hard.
00:02:19.000 Tell us about the story about what happened in Louisiana over the weekend.
00:02:22.000 People have been understandably focused on Israel and the speakers race.
00:02:26.000 Yet, here's a great canary in the coal mine.
00:02:28.000 We flipped a Democrat mansion to a Republican mansion.
00:02:32.000 Scott, tell us about it.
00:02:34.000 Well, you know, Charlie, this was especially huge because a couple of things were at play.
00:02:38.000 We had 15 different candidates running.
00:02:42.000 This was on a Saturday.
00:02:44.000 This was during football, LSU versus Auburn.
00:02:47.000 This was when we had other Republican candidates that were still running and taking votes.
00:02:53.000 And yet, on the day of the primary, Jeff Landry received over 51% of the vote.
00:03:00.000 So he was elected outright.
00:03:02.000 There is no runoff.
00:03:04.000 And this was so important because we have elections this November on Tuesday, November 7th.
00:03:10.000 So now we have momentum going into November.
00:03:14.000 People know that we can win.
00:03:17.000 And furthermore, I think one of the coolest takeaways from Louisiana is Catto Parish, Shreveport, is majority black.
00:03:26.000 And that parish voted for Jeff Landry for governor.
00:03:31.000 So people are seeing the disastrous Joe Biden Democratic agenda, and people are seeing what Republicans are bringing to the table for fighting for working class America.
00:03:42.000 And that was evident in the Saturday, October 14th election.
00:03:46.000 Yeah, so let's talk more about that.
00:03:48.000 Louisiana is a tricky state, right?
00:03:50.000 You would think that it's deep red, but it has a tradition of voting for Democrats in statewide offices.
00:03:56.000 Blue Dog, more moderate Democrats.
00:03:58.000 Tell us about the dynamics of this race and what can we learn about it specifically, outreach, organizing, grassroots activity so that we could defeat the communists in November of 2024.
00:04:10.000 So Louisiana, like California, has a jungle primary system.
00:04:15.000 That means that a whole bunch of candidates can run, but at the end of the day, if you don't receive 50% plus one of the vote, it goes to a runoff.
00:04:25.000 So the reason why this election was so monumental is as I stated, 15 candidates were running.
00:04:33.000 Several of those people were elected politicians in the Louisiana government.
00:04:38.000 And despite that, Jeff Landry won outright.
00:04:42.000 That shows you the caliber of the man that we just elected as governor of Louisiana.
00:04:49.000 But in terms of grassroots, I really want to give a shout out to the hundreds of volunteers that through early vote action, we wrote thousands of letters to new movers in Louisiana.
00:05:02.000 A new mover is somebody that has moved to the state, probably fleeing, you know, New York or California or one of the failed Democratic states.
00:05:11.000 And so our volunteers wrote a letter welcoming them to Louisiana, explaining that we have a closed presidential primary, encouraging them to register as Republican, and furthermore, asking for their vote on Saturday, October 14th.
00:05:27.000 And in part, this letter writing campaign did help to not only register new voters, but get them out to vote and delivered a victory for Jeff Landry on October 14th.
00:05:39.000 So let's keep the momentum going, right?
00:05:41.000 So let's get this into Arizona and Georgia and Wisconsin.
00:05:45.000 Talk about where you're going to be dedicating your resources and your time.
00:05:49.000 Louisiana was a sleeper, right?
00:05:51.000 I mean, we didn't even cover it in the lead up.
00:05:52.000 It's a comfortably bred state.
00:05:53.000 Jeff Landry is great.
00:05:54.000 But I hope everybody understands for Jeff Landry to avoid a runoff, that's a great structural sign.
00:06:00.000 And also, if you look at things regionally, you're talking about the black community there, Scott.
00:06:05.000 If that is any sort of an indicator, even by 2%, even by 3%, Georgia is going to look pretty sweet for us for Donald J. Trump if he's the nominee, which it looks like it will.
00:06:16.000 So Louisiana very well could have been almost a little bit of a litanus test, a little bit of a real poll of will blacks in the South be more willing to vote Republican?
00:06:25.000 Tell us more about that, Scott.
00:06:27.000 Absolutely.
00:06:28.000 Well, you know, it's anecdotal, but I'm a data guy and I've been telling people for months.
00:06:33.000 I've seen the Democratic Party of Louisiana, because they have voter registration data by demographics, lose black voters, while Republicans in Louisiana were gaining black voters.
00:06:46.000 Yes, this is just Louisiana, but what if this translate, like you said, to Georgia, to Duval, Jacksonville?
00:06:53.000 Or maybe what if it even translates to Milwaukee or Philadelphia?
00:06:58.000 But my organization, Early Vote Action, we are focused on Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
00:07:06.000 Now, four out of those five states have voter registration by party.
00:07:10.000 So this letter writing methodology, we can implement, for example, to make sure that Arizona independents are aware of the presidential preference election.
00:07:22.000 You must be registered as a Republican if you want to vote for your favorite Republican candidate next year in Arizona.
00:07:28.000 Same thing goes for Nevada.
00:07:30.000 And so we can implement this.
00:07:32.000 But I also want to talk about very briefly, yes, those are my priority states for 2024.
00:07:39.000 But this November, Charlie, we have Kentucky, Daniel Cameron for governor, Mississippi, Tate Reeves for governor.
00:07:45.000 We also have New Jersey and Virginia have state legislative elections.
00:07:49.000 And then the reason why I'm here in Pennsylvania is the Supreme Court election with Judge Carolyn Corluccio.
00:07:56.000 Those are my foci right now going into November 7th.
00:08:00.000 So I love that.
00:08:02.000 And you have it all laid out, you know, of where you're going.
00:08:05.000 So let me ask you, Scott, we've had you on the program before.
00:08:08.000 Have you received a phone call from anybody in the Republican establishment asking how you're doing?
00:08:12.000 You know, and did you see other Republican establishment groups on the ground in Louisiana?
00:08:18.000 Because they're certainly taking credit for it.
00:08:21.000 Well, today is day 186 that I reached out to the chairwoman of the party asking for a response on what we're doing to win this November and bring young people into the equation, which clearly Turning Point Action and Turning Point USA are doing.
00:08:40.000 And no, I haven't received a phone call.
00:08:42.000 I did.
00:08:43.000 I do want to give credit, though, because Casey Crosby, who is the treasurer of the RNC, I did work with her.
00:08:50.000 And I did go to the Commonwealth of Kentucky to support Daniel Cameron for governor.
00:08:55.000 We all need to support Daniel Cameron because they have a Democratic governor and we wish Mitch McConnell a long, healthy, sustaining life.
00:09:04.000 But his health is in question right now.
00:09:06.000 And if something were to happen that he were forced to retire, it is by law the Democratic governor that would appoint his replacement.
00:09:15.000 And that Democratic governor said that he won't follow the law.
00:09:19.000 So I really want people to understand the magnitude and the consequential nature of what's happening this November.
00:09:26.000 As you said, Charlie, yes, Israel is important.
00:09:29.000 What's happening in Ukraine is important.
00:09:31.000 This vote today for the speakership is important, but the very nature of November 7th elections in those states that I laid out are important going into 2024 as well.
00:09:43.000 Yeah, and just Scott, I don't like poll watching, but Kentucky's a problem right now.
00:09:47.000 Andy Bashir looks like he's in the driver's seat.
00:09:50.000 And so we need a grassroots lift big time.
00:09:53.000 And again, these southern states are tricky, everybody.
00:09:55.000 They will never vote for a Democrat for president, but they'll sneak in a Democrat governor or a Democrat senator here or there.
00:10:03.000 You got to look at Georgia, Montana, Kentucky.
00:10:07.000 I know it's, again, remember, Democrat states don't sneak in Republicans.
00:10:11.000 Republicans sneak in Democrats.
00:10:13.000 Scott Pressler, early vote action, great work.
00:10:15.000 Hardest working grassroots warrior out there.
00:10:18.000 If we had 1,000 Scott Presslers, we would win the 2024 election.
00:10:22.000 Instead, I don't know what the heck is going on.
00:10:24.000 Scott, keep it up.
00:10:25.000 We have your back.
00:10:26.000 Thank you.

00:11:31.000 So far, 12 no votes for Jim Jordan.
00:11:35.000 Ken Buck, we're not sure how he voted.
00:11:38.000 Don Bakan voted for McCarthy.
00:11:40.000 Chavez DeReamer voted for McCarthy.
00:11:43.000 Diaz Bosito voted for Zeldin.
00:11:45.000 Yeah, that really helps.
00:11:46.000 Diaz Ballarts voted for Scalise.
00:11:50.000 Elzey voted for Mike Garcia.
00:11:54.000 Garbarino voted for Zeldin.
00:11:56.000 This is all over the place.
00:11:57.000 Jimenez voted for McCarthy.
00:11:58.000 Gonzalez voted for Scalise.
00:12:00.000 Granger voted for Scalise.
00:12:02.000 These people aren't even running, and they're voting for them.
00:12:05.000 Kelly voted for Scalise.
00:12:06.000 Kiggins voted for McCarthy.
00:12:08.000 And La Lota voted for Zeldin.
00:12:11.000 That's so far.
00:12:12.000 It'll probably actually end up closer to they're already, yeah, probably about 20.
00:12:19.000 So Jordan has a lot of work to do.
00:12:21.000 That is worse than I thought it would be.
00:12:23.000 And so you need some majority of 217, right?
00:12:28.000 A combination of no votes and absence.
00:12:31.000 The math changes.
00:12:33.000 So you need 217, essentially, to be able to become Speaker of the House out of 218 total.
00:12:43.000 So that's it's continuing as it is.
00:12:46.000 So we have the picture in picture here.
00:12:48.000 It's going to go to another round of voting.
00:12:51.000 These moderates are just trying to get out of their system.
00:12:54.000 I guess.
00:12:55.000 No, what's going on here is these moderates have come together and they're basically like, we are so upset at the conservatives.
00:13:04.000 We're so upset about what they made us go through in January.
00:13:07.000 We're so upset what happened with motion to vacate.
00:13:10.000 They want to try and inflict hell on the rest of the conference.
00:13:15.000 That's what's going on here.
00:13:16.000 It's petty.
00:13:18.000 It's baseless.
00:13:19.000 It's not about governing.
00:13:21.000 It's not principled.
00:13:22.000 It's basically a venting coalition.
00:13:25.000 And they're in big disconnect with their voters.
00:13:28.000 So let me tell you what's different about what's happening in January, what happened in January versus now.
00:13:35.000 In January, the voters were largely with these members like Roy and Luna and Donalds and Biggs and Crane that were holding the line to try to get reforms for the House speaker.
00:13:50.000 There are not voters right now, even in the moderate camp, moderate voters that are like, you know what?
00:13:56.000 I really want Congressman Gonzalez to go vote for Scalise.
00:14:01.000 No, this is petty.
00:14:03.000 It is incredibly juvenile what they're doing, to be perfectly honest.
00:14:10.000 You have a potentially great speaker, but for them, they do not want a great conservative speaker.
00:14:15.000 They want someone that is going to keep business as usual.
00:14:20.000 They want clean CRs.
00:14:21.000 They do not want 12 individual spending bills.
00:14:24.000 They don't want to touch the border.
00:14:25.000 If they want anything, they want amnesty.
00:14:27.000 They want unlimited amounts of funding to Ukraine.
00:14:29.000 They want a new building for the FBI.
00:14:31.000 So someone like Jim Jordan frightens them.
00:14:35.000 And for those of you that are skeptical about Jim Jordan, the fact that he is receiving this kind of establishment resistance should actually strengthen your resolve to help get Jim Jordan across the finish line.
00:14:48.000 That this kind of Republican uniparty resistance should show you that Jim Jordan is actually going to be a far improvement beyond what we've seen before.
00:15:00.000 This is very serious stuff, by the way.
00:15:02.000 These quote-unquote moderates who are going to force another carousel of voting and another round of voting and another round of voting, they're not putting the country first.
00:15:10.000 And what is their argument?
00:15:11.000 They obviously don't have any strategy.
00:15:13.000 They're all voting for different people.
00:15:15.000 You got people voting for McCarthy.
00:15:16.000 You got people voting for Zeldon.
00:15:18.000 You got people voting for Scalise.
00:15:20.000 You got Elzey voting for Mike Garcia.
00:15:22.000 This is protest votes, is what it is.
00:15:24.000 So what is the ask?
00:15:26.000 The ask, when Matt Gates did this back in January, was very clear.
00:15:29.000 Okay, I want this, this, this, this, and this.
00:15:32.000 And Matt Gates and Andy Biggs and all their credit, they got what they wanted at the end.
00:15:36.000 They either said present, so they didn't vote, or they ended up making a deal.
00:15:40.000 And again, I'm not saying we should be like this.
00:15:44.000 The Democrats are su, they are so unbelievably totalitarian.
00:15:48.000 They love power.
00:15:49.000 They know how to use power.
00:15:50.000 They don't want to lose power.
00:15:52.000 We're very kind of loosey-goosey with power because we don't actually consider power to be an end.
00:15:58.000 We consider power to be a means.
00:16:00.000 Democrats consider power to be a means and an end.
00:16:04.000 Their whole life is about getting power for power's sake.
00:16:07.000 It's very similar to O'Brien in the book 1984 by Orwell.
00:16:12.000 Power is about power.
00:16:14.000 And that's a hard thing.
00:16:15.000 I mean, when I say that, conservatives like short circuit sometimes, it's like, I don't understand.
00:16:19.000 You don't think like a leftist.
00:16:20.000 That's why you don't understand.
00:16:21.000 Their whole life is about having their boot on your neck, their boot, your neck.
00:16:26.000 For us, it's like about family, church, nice vacations, building a business, charity, raising good kids.
00:16:35.000 Democrats who say, no, my boot, your neck.
00:16:38.000 My boot, your neck.
00:16:40.000 We're about value creation, production, entrepreneurship, building things that last.
00:16:46.000 They say, my boot, your neck.
00:16:49.000 That's what you're up against.
00:16:51.000 And for Republicans, they're playing so loosey-goosey with this because honestly, they're not serious about governing.
00:16:57.000 They're serious about making a point.
00:16:58.000 I sure hope it straightens itself out.
00:17:03.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:17:04.000 Aren't you tired of not making a difference?
00:17:06.000 You can.
00:17:07.000 We can make a difference standing for life by giving free ultrasounds with our friends at pre-born.
00:17:12.000 In a Dobbs world, states decide about abortion, and so many liberal states are taking extreme stands, even allowing abortion up to literally the second before a baby is born.
00:17:21.000 It's unbelievable, but true.
00:17:23.000 And in California, the demand for abortions has increased 400% in part because the state is inviting women and girls to come to California for the sole purpose of aborting their baby.
00:17:33.000 This is abortion trafficking.
00:17:35.000 Take a stand for life by providing an ultrasound for a young woman.
00:17:39.000 When you do, she is twice as likely to choose life.
00:17:41.000 I'm a donor and you should be too to pre-born.
00:17:44.000 Just $28 provides that ultrasound and saves one baby.
00:17:47.000 $140 saves five.
00:17:49.000 A gift of $15,000 provides an ultrasound machine that can save thousands of babies for years to come.
00:17:54.000 Call 833-850-2229 or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com.
00:18:00.000 That is charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner.
00:18:06.000 Lots to cover with Carrie Lake.
00:18:09.000 Carrie Lake is running for Senate in Arizona.
00:18:11.000 She's already consolidated widespread support across the board.
00:18:14.000 Congratulations, Carrie.
00:18:15.000 Doesn't look like there's going to be much of a primary and a rather tricky and unusual general election against two Democrats, one that admits it and one that pretends that she is not.
00:18:25.000 Carrie, tell us why you're running and the path forward.
00:18:28.000 Well, thanks for having me on, Charlie.
00:18:29.000 It's so good to be here with you and the folks listening to you today.
00:18:33.000 I'm worried about Arizona, plain and simple.
00:18:35.000 I mean, my husband and I, I tried to come up with every reason not to run.
00:18:38.000 I know we have a following in a movement and we led an incredible campaign for governor.
00:18:43.000 And I don't want to see the people that are worried about Arizona being left high and dry.
00:18:49.000 And that's what they're going to get right now with the two people running.
00:18:52.000 We've got Kirsten Sineman, Ruben Gallego.
00:18:54.000 He's a socialist Democrat, Marxist, to be honest.
00:18:58.000 And she is a very liberal Democrat.
00:19:00.000 I call her Kirsten the chameleon.
00:19:03.000 Every time around the election rolls around, she tries to come back to Arizona and act like she's a moderate, and it couldn't be further from the truth.
00:19:10.000 The two of them vote with Joe Biden and his agenda 100% of the time almost, nearly 100% of the time.
00:19:19.000 And that's not where Arizona is.
00:19:20.000 They voted against securing the border time and time again.
00:19:24.000 Our border is a mess.
00:19:25.000 They vote for his Biden's disastrous energy policy, which has been the reason that inflation has skyrocketed and hit Arizona harder than anywhere else.
00:19:36.000 And so we need someone who's going to go to Arizona and truly represent the people of this beautiful state and be America first.
00:19:43.000 I'm tired of watching people in Congress go there and then act like they forgot who they're representing, we the people.
00:19:50.000 So I'm excited to be in the race.
00:19:52.000 I know it's going to be grueling.
00:19:53.000 They're telling me it's going to be a $300 million race and everyone's going to be gunning for us, but I'm ready for it.
00:19:59.000 I'm tested.
00:20:00.000 I know exactly how to run a campaign, how to work hard and get the vote.
00:20:04.000 And I'm going to do that again here for the U.S. Senate seat.
00:20:07.000 So some people are asking, Carrie, and I'm sure you're going to have to navigate the only question in the primary is Kerry, what's to stop them from doing what they did to you in 2022, right?
00:20:17.000 And I mean, because I went to go vote and you were sabotaged by Richard and by Maricopa County and many other people.
00:20:24.000 I went to go vote Scottsdale Voting Center.
00:20:26.000 There should not be a voting center, by the way.
00:20:29.000 And it was a two and a half hour wait.
00:20:31.000 You know, people running all over the place.
00:20:33.000 What assurances can you give your audience, lawsuits, things you're still pursuing so that they don't sabotage you again?
00:20:40.000 Well, thank you for asking.
00:20:42.000 I do want people to know I'm not giving up on the fight to bring about honest elections back to Arizona.
00:20:48.000 And frankly, we need them all over the country.
00:20:50.000 And so I'm continuing along with my court cases.
00:20:52.000 And, you know, it's moving slowly.
00:20:54.000 It's like molasses on a cold winter's day.
00:20:56.000 And I don't know if that's by design, but our court cases are trudging along and moving slowly.
00:21:02.000 But that's what they want.
00:21:03.000 They want us stuck in court and they want to stop our movement.
00:21:06.000 And I can't allow that to happen.
00:21:08.000 Our movement is too strong.
00:21:10.000 It's too strong.
00:21:11.000 And it's moms and dads and grandparents and young people.
00:21:14.000 And they want this movement to continue forward.
00:21:16.000 I'm a mom, so I'm capable of multitasking Charlie.
00:21:19.000 I know that Eric is probably the same way.
00:21:22.000 And I can continue along with the court cases.
00:21:25.000 And I know there are little things being done and will continue to be done to get a little bit of improvement here and there and here and there.
00:21:33.000 But most importantly, I know that by November of 24, and I wish it didn't have to be this way, things are going to get so bad here in Arizona and in America.
00:21:42.000 You are going to have to hold back people from voting.
00:21:46.000 People are going to vote in such huge numbers that it's going to be really hard, even with problems that we have, to keep our vote from being counted.
00:21:56.000 And so I'm counting on that.
00:21:57.000 I know President Trump says that we got to swamp the system.
00:21:59.000 We have to get out and vote.
00:22:01.000 Not only like our lives depend on it, but the survival of this great nation depends on it.
00:22:05.000 And I think we'll get there by November.
00:22:07.000 Yeah.
00:22:07.000 And look, I'll say this.
00:22:08.000 The big issue that I would self-examine for myself is that we allow them to create a traffic jam on election day.
00:22:13.000 We're going to have to figure this out.
00:22:14.000 Low prop voters, people that might feel comfortable to vote early in person.
00:22:18.000 It might not be the most secure thing, but we can't have another bum rush to a voting center on Scottsdale Road where you're voting at some church or something and it's a two-hour wait.
00:22:28.000 It's not acceptable, right?
00:22:29.000 And Carrie, imagine that with presidential turnout, right?
00:22:32.000 Presidential turnout.
00:22:34.000 I mean, plus Carrie Lake type turnout.
00:22:36.000 We got to figure this out.
00:22:37.000 Sorry, please finish that thought.
00:22:38.000 Right.
00:22:39.000 No, and two hours is too long.
00:22:41.000 But, you know, Charlie, for your listeners, we had lines that were four, five, and six hours on election day.
00:22:46.000 That is too long.
00:22:46.000 That's a disenfranchisement of voters.
00:22:48.000 And we're going to work on that.
00:22:49.000 I agree.
00:22:50.000 I always said vote however you want.
00:22:52.000 If you have an envelope with a ballot in it, get it out.
00:22:55.000 Get it sent back.
00:22:56.000 And so we want people to vote.
00:22:58.000 The minute that voting starts, start voting.
00:23:01.000 And I think in a three-way race, we have a really great advantage to win this.
00:23:06.000 I'm excited.
00:23:07.000 I'm excited really to get to business in solving these problems we have.
00:23:12.000 We've had the same problems for so long.
00:23:13.000 I covered it as a journalist of 30 years.
00:23:15.000 I was covering all of these problems, inflation, a bad immigration system, a wide open border.
00:23:21.000 Gas prices are high.
00:23:22.000 And then we got a four-year reprieve, a four-year bid of relief under President Trump.
00:23:28.000 And that's why I support him.
00:23:29.000 He got to Washington and he got to work on the people's business.
00:23:32.000 And so we need to get a whole bunch of people in D.C. working for we the people.
00:23:36.000 And I think we can do that.
00:23:38.000 So, Carrie, I want to shift gears here for a second.
00:23:41.000 You've probably heard there's this big story in Arizona right now.
00:23:44.000 Two journalists that work for Turning Point USA went to go ask a professor at Arizona State University, you know, all about how he puts on performances for children, drag queen-type story hour stuff, has some suspicious stuff he wrote on a sub stack about, you know, adults having sex with minors.
00:24:01.000 He deleted that, you know, just questions like, hey, you're being funded by U.S. taxpayers, I mean, Arizona taxpayers at Arizona State University.
00:24:07.000 It has now gone viral and not in a good way because the president of ASU is lying about the incident.
00:24:13.000 The media is lying about the incident.
00:24:15.000 And Carrie, the entire institute, you know, this, the whole institutional media in Arizona is captured by the Marxist left.
00:24:22.000 It's unbelievable to even get a word in edgewise.
00:24:24.000 The professor lunges at our student, or not our student, our reporter.
00:24:30.000 Our reporter acts in self-defense.
00:24:32.000 And all of a sudden, every single one of the stories is Turning Point USA journalist assaulted professor.
00:24:39.000 And we have this one still shot picture.
00:24:41.000 I mean, we have the B-roll.
00:24:42.000 Let's put 46 up.
00:24:44.000 The professor is in a dress as a man, okay?
00:24:48.000 46.
00:24:49.000 You'll see, put it up on here.
00:24:51.000 And you see, he lunges first and then out of self-defense.
00:24:54.000 And that's the more operative one.
00:24:55.000 Let's put that one screenshot that you guys put up there.
00:24:57.000 Carrie, what's your reaction to this?
00:24:59.000 Because this is turning into a big, you know, brouhaha in Arizona, all based on a lie.
00:25:05.000 It looks like the quality of professors have gone down since I've been in college.
00:25:08.000 I'll say that.
00:25:09.000 And this is pretty crazy.
00:25:11.000 This is, you know, the media has a right to talk to somebody like that.
00:25:14.000 And I didn't see, you know, maybe the line of questioning was difficult for the professor to handle, but the media has the right to ask tough questions and even questions you don't like.
00:25:25.000 Welcome to my world.
00:25:26.000 I get that all the time.
00:25:27.000 As a matter of fact, I was on ASU's campus a couple of years ago, a year and a half ago, and I was there for a protest to make sure we didn't force ASU students in 115-degree heat to have to wear masks.
00:25:44.000 And Brom Resnick from Channel 12, NBC, a very, very biased socialist reporter, started following me.
00:25:51.000 I said to him, I don't want to talk to you because I know what kind of reporting you do.
00:25:57.000 And I also noticed that you refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
00:26:00.000 And I frankly don't want to talk to you, Brom.
00:26:02.000 And yet he continued to follow me.
00:26:04.000 And so if, and I didn't hear anything from ASU saying that was inappropriate.
00:26:09.000 Why did they follow Carrie Lake?
00:26:11.000 Why did they follow her as she was going to her car?
00:26:14.000 Nothing.
00:26:15.000 I heard nothing, just the opposite.
00:26:17.000 They were saying that that was okay.
00:26:18.000 So, you know, which way is it?
00:26:20.000 And where is freedom of speech?
00:26:22.000 We should have freedom of speech.
00:26:24.000 Nobody should be subjected to having their camera being pushed out of their hand or attempted to be lunged at.
00:26:30.000 And Michael Crowe has done more harm for the First Amendment, frankly, right there on that campus than anybody.
00:26:38.000 I want to play that piece of tape.
00:26:39.000 I'm just, we've isolated that still shot.
00:26:41.000 Put that up one more time.
00:26:42.000 I want to walk through it.
00:26:43.000 That right there in the white is the aggressor, the professor.
00:26:46.000 And then I want to read some of these, keep it up.
00:26:48.000 I just want to read some of these headlines, what we have to deal with.
00:26:50.000 And Andrew's been doing a great job.
00:26:51.000 So you type in Turning Point USA to Google, okay?
00:26:54.000 And one after the other, after the other of articles that are lying about our organization.
00:27:01.000 Moment, two members of Turning Point USA assault professor.
00:27:04.000 Wait a second.
00:27:04.000 Does that look like we're assaulting a professor?
00:27:07.000 Look at that.
00:27:07.000 ASU Turning Point USA accused of bloodying ASU professor, USA University professor, shoved to ground by right-wing youth activists.
00:27:16.000 This is how dishonest the media is.
00:27:18.000 You see right there, the professor lunges and tries to attack our journalists in self-defense.
00:27:25.000 They defend themselves and the entire media intentionally lies about Turning Point USA.
00:27:30.000 Let's play Cut 45.
00:27:31.000 This is the clip you were talking about, Carrie.
00:27:33.000 Why did we talk to you?
00:27:35.000 You know what?
00:27:35.000 I don't talk to people who don't do the Pledge of Allegiance.
00:27:37.000 Oh, I don't do the Pledge.
00:27:39.000 Bram, why didn't you say Brahm?
00:27:40.000 I'm a son.
00:27:41.000 I don't want to talk to you.
00:27:42.000 I noticed that you would not say the Pledge of Allegiance, and that's really despicable.
00:27:47.000 Why can't you put your hand on your heart and say, He does the Pledge of Allegiance?
00:27:52.000 I am all the Pledge of Allegiance.
00:27:55.000 So they followed me to my car, by the way.
00:27:58.000 Yeah, so by the way, Brahm wrote articles and tweeted out that we were harassing, but he's done that kind of reporting before.
00:28:05.000 Yeah, they followed me to my car.
00:28:08.000 I did not push him.
00:28:09.000 I mean, I don't care for him.
00:28:11.000 I don't care for his type of reporting.
00:28:14.000 But, you know, I was a journalist for 30 years.
00:28:16.000 I know that I know what the rights are of journalists in this country.
00:28:21.000 And no, I didn't get any backup or any pushback.
00:28:24.000 Michael Crowe never came to my defense.
00:28:26.000 The AZ Republic never came to my defense.
00:28:29.000 And Brahm certainly didn't.
00:28:31.000 As a matter of fact, he just constantly attacks me.
00:28:33.000 You know, I look at our polling and I know that the vast majority of Arizonans believe in what I stand for, which is safe streets, a healthy economy, a secure border.
00:28:46.000 And yet when you read what these people, these so-called journalists, I call them propagandists, are putting out, they're not with the people.
00:28:53.000 They're not at all.
00:28:54.000 And they write attack pieces on me every day.
00:28:58.000 Sometimes I woke up one day.
00:28:59.000 I had three articles that were nasty and horrible coming out of the AZ Central is what they call it, Arizona Republic.
00:29:06.000 I call it Arizona Repugnant.
00:29:09.000 And they're just not representative of A, fair journalism and B, where the people of this state are.
00:29:16.000 And this is why during my acceptance speech or my speech announcing that I was going to run for the United States Senate last week, I told people to turn off the media and end their subscriptions.
00:29:27.000 We've got to let them, you know, we have a way of protesting.
00:29:31.000 We can use our voice, right?
00:29:33.000 We can also protest using our pocketbook.
00:29:35.000 We don't have to give these entities money.
00:29:38.000 And I know many of your listeners probably have gotten rid of their subscription to the repugnant AZ Central, but your parents or grandparents might not have.
00:29:48.000 And you really need to have a conversation with them because I know a lot of folks who are a little bit older like to have a newspaper on their driveway, but they also love this country.
00:29:56.000 And the type of reporting coming out of this outlet is damaging to our country.
00:30:00.000 It's anti-American.
00:30:04.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
00:30:05.000 As you know, following this week's horrible events, Israel is at war.
00:30:09.000 The people of Israel are under attack from brutal terrorists, targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.
00:30:14.000 There's over a thousand casualties, as well as kidnapping and infiltration of southern Israeli towns.
00:30:18.000 Israel is now retaliating and could escalate with a ground offensive against Hamas militants.
00:30:23.000 The situation is critical, which is why I'm partnering with our friends at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to rush emergency relief to the hardest hit areas.
00:30:30.000 Call the special phone number 800-492-5454 to make an emergency donation.
00:30:35.000 Again, that's 800-492-5454.
00:30:38.000 Your emergency gift will help the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews save lives and provide critical essentials needed right now.
00:30:45.000 During this dark time, the need in war-torn areas will be tremendous.
00:30:48.000 The fellowship has extensive network of staff partner organizations and more.
00:30:52.000 Immediately respond with life-saving security and support measures.
00:30:54.000 We ask all people to pray for safety and protection.
00:30:57.000 Call 800-492-5454 as we rush urgent need right now to help Israel through the International Fellowship of Christian Jews.
00:31:07.000 So Kerry Lake is running for the U.S. Senate.
00:31:10.000 It's going to be an unusual race.
00:31:12.000 You have a Marxist Gallego, and then you have Sinema, who is allegedly still running as some form of a moderate.
00:31:20.000 Kerry, what do you think are the top issues?
00:31:22.000 The border being one of them, the economy that are going to propel you to victory and also make sure that President Trump wins State 48.
00:31:32.000 Well, if you ask just Arizona citizens, I think it's just their safety and the ability to actually put food on the table and live in this economy.
00:31:43.000 And everything that is wrong right now, you can attribute and you can channel it right back to what Joe Biden has done and his enablers, Ruben Gallego and Kirsten Cinema.
00:31:52.000 What do I mean by that?
00:31:54.000 When you go to the grocery store, I was talking to a woman the other day and I said, I can't believe the price of groceries.
00:31:59.000 I mean, they've doubled.
00:32:00.000 They've doubled, maybe even more in some cases.
00:32:03.000 And she said, heck, I'm worried about the price of groceries.
00:32:06.000 I'm worried actually about getting from my car into the grocery store safely in my neighborhood.
00:32:11.000 There's so much crime.
00:32:12.000 I've got to watch over my shoulder.
00:32:14.000 I try to put my little ones in their car seats and I'm looking around going, is somebody going to come up to me and carjack me?
00:32:21.000 That's how dangerous our streets are right now.
00:32:24.000 And that's because we have a wide open border.
00:32:26.000 We have an economy that's in the toilet.
00:32:28.000 People can't find work.
00:32:30.000 People are desperate.
00:32:30.000 People haven't been properly educated and they don't know how to make a living.
00:32:34.000 And then on day one, besides opening up the border, Joe Biden shut down an energy independence policy that President Trump had put into place that made us not only energy independent, but on a verge of being energy dominant, where we could sell energy to the world.
00:32:51.000 And he pulled that back.
00:32:52.000 And that's when we noticed immediately inflation starting to shoot up.
00:32:56.000 The price of everything went up because when gasoline prices go up and energy prices go up, the price to move and haul food and items that we purchase went up.
00:33:06.000 And so it's pretty simple to fix.
00:33:08.000 Go back to President Trump's policies, but we're never going to have that happen with Biden in office or with people like Ruben Gallego or Kirsten Cinema.
00:33:17.000 They're voting for Chuck Schumer and they're voting for Biden every step of the way.
00:33:22.000 We've got to get somebody in who's going to put forth America first policies and help get this agenda back on track to turn our country around.
00:33:31.000 And that's why I'm running.
00:33:32.000 I'm a mom who's very worried about my children's future.
00:33:36.000 I'm worried about the cost of living.
00:33:38.000 I'm worried about our safety and security on our streets and in our neighborhoods.
00:33:43.000 It doesn't have to be the way it is right now.
00:33:45.000 And we're really on the verge of total destruction under Joe Biden, Kirsten Cinema, and Ruben Gallego.
00:33:51.000 Kerry Lake, it's going to be a race to witness and watch.
00:33:54.000 We'll be here for all of it.
00:33:56.000 God bless you and come back anytime.
00:33:57.000 Thanks, Carrie.
00:33:58.000 Thank you.
00:33:58.000 Thank you.
00:33:59.000 I could use some help.
00:33:59.000 Go to CarrieLake.com, sign up to volunteer and sign up to get me on the ballot.
00:34:04.000 It's a two-minute process, Charlie.
00:34:06.000 You just go in there if you're an Arizona registered voter, get me on the ballot.
00:34:09.000 We're almost there.
00:34:10.000 And if you can make a donation, I would appreciate it.
00:34:13.000 We've got to go up against the Soros machine here.
00:34:15.000 Very good.
00:34:16.000 Carrie, thanks so much.
00:34:17.000 Appreciate it.
00:34:18.000 Thank you.
