00:01:44.000 Really important guest that I've been looking forward to.
00:01:46.000 His name is Flash Shelton, squatterhunters.com.
00:01:52.000 Flash, welcome to the program.
00:01:53.000 There's so much I want to discuss with you.
00:01:55.000 Flash, this is a growing news story across the country.
00:01:59.000 Explain to our audience what is squatting and why is it becoming so well known across the country right now?
00:02:07.000 Well, in the 1800s, squatting was, you know, settlers settling in on land as they were traveling and being able to take over properties and building homes.
00:02:18.000 But now squatting seems to be, you know, the ability to be able to break into someone's house and show and say that you lived there and show a fake lease and assume tenant rights.
00:02:30.000 So Flash, can you just tell us how frequent is this?
00:02:33.000 Is it as blunt as someone can break into somebody else's home and assume that they are the rightful owner?
00:02:40.000 How is this possible in our country?
00:02:42.000 How frequent is it?
00:02:43.000 Yeah, it's extremely frequent.
00:02:46.000 I'm finding that it's, you know, there's, I mean, I'm getting, you know, hundreds of requests a day right now.
00:02:55.000 I mean, it's just crazy.
00:02:56.000 Everyone is going through this.
00:03:00.000 And it's, you know, it's just, it's a growing problem, but it hasn't, you know, it's not new.
00:03:08.000 It's just something we're hearing a lot more of.
00:03:11.000 Okay, so let's play cut 61 of an example of this happening, I believe, in New York.
00:03:15.000 Play cut 61.
00:03:17.000 This guy just forced himself into my house.
00:03:20.000 Yes, he did.
00:03:21.000 And so did you.
00:03:22.000 You broke through the front door.
00:03:24.000 The man called the police on her.
00:03:27.000 So why is it that I have to leave and he doesn't have to leave?
00:03:29.000 Because technically he can't be kicked out.
00:03:31.000 He needs to go to Portland.
00:03:32.000 They consider this a landlord-tenant issue.
00:03:35.000 And by law, it has to be handled through the housing court, not with police.
00:03:39.000 So Adele, you're getting arrested right now?
00:03:41.000 For what?
00:03:44.000 For being in my own home.
00:03:46.000 And where's your lease?
00:03:47.000 She's buying the house.
00:03:48.000 It's not her house anymore.
00:03:49.000 My deed is currently illegal.
00:03:51.000 Arrested for unlawful eviction.
00:03:54.000 She changed the locks on a man who claims he lives there.
00:03:58.000 So she changed the locks on a trespasser.
00:04:01.000 So Flash, how do you remove squatters?
00:04:03.000 Your website is squatterhunters.com.
00:04:06.000 What is the process that you are able to get squatters out of these homes, these criminals and these trespassers that take over people's homes?
00:04:14.000 Well, the big thing that I want people to understand from this story is that she's the homeowner.
00:04:20.000 So it is against the law for her to do this.
00:04:22.000 Homeowners are not presumed the resident, and that's why the tenants and the squatters have all the rights.
00:04:28.000 I go in as a leaseholder or a squatter myself.
00:04:32.000 So I assume the rights that they are trying to claim.
00:04:35.000 So I basically, in switching possession with them, I become the leaseholder.
00:04:40.000 I become the squatter.
00:04:41.000 And I force them to either fight to get back into the property while they're living somewhere else, or they just have to find another place to go.
00:04:51.000 So you become a squatter alongside other squatters, essentially.
00:04:56.000 And so can you just add more detail to this?
00:05:00.000 And I want to make sure the audience understands.
00:05:02.000 So if you're a homeowner, you don't actually have rights to your own home?
00:05:06.000 No, because the courts don't, you know, they don't presume you being the tenant because a lot of homeowners will rent out a property.
00:05:12.000 So you can't rent to a tenant and then change your mind and want to kick them out.
00:05:16.000 So the law protects them.
00:05:18.000 So in a situation with a squatter, it's the same thing because a squatter is always going to be presumed the tenant.
00:05:26.000 So what I do is I basically just use the same rights that they have to help me get them out.
00:05:34.000 And, you know, when I can switch places with them, you know, it helps.
00:05:38.000 So even if people do not pay rent, is that correct?
00:05:42.000 So do you just walk into a home then and then you declare yourself a squatter?
00:05:46.000 Well, that's what they're doing.
00:05:48.000 And what, you know, what I do is I go in and I we set up cameras and I sit down and I say, hey, let's have a civil conversation.
00:05:56.000 And I let them know what their life is going to be like.
00:05:59.000 And it's going to be, you know, like a reality show.
00:06:02.000 And I'm going to expose them to the world.
00:06:05.000 And they're going to have trouble leasing a property in the future.
00:06:10.000 And I'm going to just make them want to leave on their own.
00:06:14.000 Have you had a fair amount of success doing that?
00:06:16.000 In fact, you were able to successfully evict this alleged celebrity, one of the winners of the Iron Chef, this guy that started Umami Burger.
00:06:26.000 He was squatting in somebody's home.
00:06:28.000 Tell us about that.
00:06:29.000 Yeah, so with him, he, you know, I did an intervention video on Outside the Box with Flash with him.
00:06:36.000 And he talked to me for like an hour and a half.
00:06:40.000 And he was basically narcissist, self-entitled, felt that he was a victim and was taking advantage of an elderly woman.
00:06:49.000 With him, it ended up becoming physical.
00:06:53.000 He assaulted somebody.
00:06:55.000 So I turned up the heat and I got him out with mere threats because he was so afraid that I was going to go lock him out one day.
00:07:04.000 So I got LAPD to tell him that I was right, that there's nothing they could do about me going in there.
00:07:11.000 And if I locked him out, that he'd have to fight me in court and he'd have to, you know, he wouldn't be able to get back in the house.
00:07:18.000 Now, does this apply to primary residences as well, or mostly rental or second or third homes?
00:07:24.000 For example, could you just walk into somebody's living room while they're at dinner and declare that home to be your own?
00:07:30.000 Can I or can a squatter?
00:07:33.000 It doesn't apply to, yeah.
00:07:36.000 Yeah.
00:07:37.000 So, for example, I have a situation where a family is on vacation.
00:07:40.000 They come home and there's someone sleeping on their house.
00:07:43.000 I mean, I'm sorry, sleeping on their couch.
00:07:45.000 They call law enforcement.
00:07:46.000 The person says we have a lease.
00:07:49.000 And basically, law enforcement tells them that all they can do now is tell the homeowner what the squatter's rights are.
00:07:57.000 And they do not allow the homeowner to go back into their house.
00:08:00.000 So, why can't you just use force to get them out of your home?
00:08:03.000 They're an intruder, aren't they?
00:08:06.000 I'm failing to understand.
00:08:07.000 If somebody breaks into your home, why can't you just use force and take care of them?
00:08:13.000 Well, I mean, we know that even if we lose, use force on somebody breaking into our house, we still get charges filed against us.
00:08:20.000 So, in these cases, you know, it will go to civil court in that, you know, in these situations.
00:08:28.000 And unfortunately, a homeowner is not allowed to do anything but civil court or hire me.
00:08:35.000 It's, you know, the laws just protect these people.
00:08:39.000 And unless you have a documented cameras and an alarm that says when they entered, and that's the key.
00:08:46.000 And that's why I tell people: look, I have my prevention videos that explain the easy process to prevent a squatter.
00:08:53.000 And it's not that difficult.
00:08:55.000 If you can prove when they entered the home, then it's trespassing and you can have them arrested.
00:09:01.000 So just having done this now, are there some states that are worse than others?
00:09:07.000 I'd imagine New York and California are some of the worst in the country.
00:09:10.000 Is that correct?
00:09:12.000 Yeah, what I found is New York is by far the worst because they have a 30-day rule.
00:09:17.000 If you can maintain, if you can basically be in a property for 30 days, you automatically become a legal tenant of that property.
00:09:25.000 California, you know, it's down the list a bit.
00:09:28.000 So far, I've seen a lot more in like Seattle, Washington.
00:09:32.000 And California, you know, is up there, but I would say by far New York is the worst.
00:09:38.000 Yeah, you're going to have a lot of business here, Flash.
00:09:41.000 I got to tell you.
00:09:42.000 And, you know, I was looking at the squatting rules in Arizona.
00:09:46.000 They say you have to live there for two years.
00:09:48.000 But I guess what you're saying, though, is that the squatter will lie to police.
00:09:52.000 And that's why having cameras and evidence to be able to, you know, kick them out essentially is crucial.
00:10:02.000 Under the names of DEI and ESG, the largest asset managers have been using your money, your savings, to push politics into America's corporations.
00:10:11.000 For years, they've implemented an agenda that is anti-American capitalism at your expense without your permission.
00:10:17.000 There's an alternative.
00:10:18.000 At Strive, the only agenda is maximizing shareholder returns.
00:10:22.000 Pro-capitalism and pro-meritocracy.
00:10:25.000 Shareholders first, period.
00:10:27.000 To learn more about Strive's shareholder first investment options, visit Strive.com now.
00:10:34.000 Flash, some people would believe that most of the squatters are homeless or they are doing this because they don't have a place to go.
00:10:44.000 However, I believe that from your experience, you find out these people have jobs, they have money.
00:10:50.000 Is that correct?
00:10:52.000 Yeah, I have not found, you know, in the hundreds of cases I've helped, I've not found a direct connection between homeless or destitute or needy.
00:11:02.000 They're regular people.
00:11:03.000 They have jobs.
00:11:04.000 They have money.
00:11:06.000 You know, they're not, they just figured out that, hey, the system allows it.
00:11:10.000 Let's live rent and mortgage free.
00:11:13.000 You know, it's just, it's been going on forever.
00:11:16.000 And, you know, but it's not, it's definitely not homeless.
00:11:20.000 You know, my family, I was homeless.
00:11:22.000 My family was homeless when I was young.
00:11:24.000 So whenever I run into a situation like that, I will offer resources and help relocate.
00:11:31.000 But the homeowner shouldn't be the victim regardless of the circumstances of the tenant.
00:11:37.000 And so when you encounter some of these squatters, do they have remorse or do they feel entitled to somebody else's home to be able to live there essentially for free?
00:11:50.000 You know, they're entitled.
00:11:52.000 If you watch the Adam Fleischmann one, that you know, one of the reasons I posted that is because that's the average response.
00:11:59.000 It's crazy to me.
00:12:02.000 You know, the average person would not break into someone's house.
00:12:07.000 They would relocate.
00:12:08.000 They'd move out of a state if they can't afford to live there.
00:12:11.000 Homeless people, I did a video and I claim that homeless people have more pride than squatters and would rather live in a tent on the sidewalk than break into your home.
00:12:21.000 Squatters are just not remorseful and they just believe that they're entitled.
00:12:28.000 So talk more about some of the prevention measures that people can do to prevent these criminals from effectively stealing your home.
00:12:38.000 Yeah, so I would say, you know, make sure you have a locking mailbox or a P.O. box and just make sure that no one has access to your mailbox.
00:12:48.000 Cameras that you can monitor from your cell phone or from anywhere, an alarm system with armed response, something that is going to say, this is when somebody trespassed into my house.
00:13:03.000 Trespassing signs, they work to some extent, but cameras will help them work.
00:13:10.000 But there are other situations where it's just unavoidable.
00:13:14.000 You know, the Fleischman situation with someone who answered an ad to rent a room, goes into the house with a backpack full of clothes, and then sits on the bed and says, I'm not leaving.
00:13:29.000 By the time the cops arrive, he has his clothes in the closet, and that's all law enforcement needs to basically say, we can't help you because he's a tenant, he's a squatter, and you have to go through civil court.
00:13:41.000 So literally, you have a guy who won a celebrity chef competition.
00:13:46.000 He's not poor.
00:13:47.000 He has some skills.
00:13:48.000 He walks into this poor old lady's rental property.
00:13:51.000 By the way, the lady committed suicide because of this, just so everyone understands the fact pattern here.
00:13:57.000 And the cops can't do anything because he illegitimately put his clothes in the closet.
00:14:02.000 Yes, that's correct.
00:14:03.000 It's sad.
00:14:05.000 You know, the whole thing is sad.
00:14:06.000 And bottom line is, you know, something needs to be done to change it because the system is flawed.
00:14:13.000 You can say that again.
00:14:14.000 Flash Hunter, amazing.
00:14:16.000 Thank you so much.
00:14:17.000 And I want everyone to check out the website.
00:14:19.000 It's just terrific.
00:14:21.000 And if you guys need help removing a squatter, you are building a network of hundreds of people to help alongside of it.
00:14:28.000 Squatterhunters.com.
00:14:30.000 Thanks so much, Flash.
00:14:31.000 Thank you.
00:14:32.000 I want to play this piece of tape here.
00:14:34.000 Here is cut 62 of a Venezuelan bragging on social media: hey, if you come into this country illegally, just go take over homes.
00:14:43.000 Because if you go into a home that is vacant, that home could be yours.
00:14:46.000 Play cut 62.
00:14:47.000 So this illegal from TikTok is back spreading a message that you guys won't believe.
00:14:53.000 Now, he's speaking in Spanish like this.
00:14:54.000 So I'm going to read the subtitles for you.
00:14:57.000 My people have thought about invading a house in the United States because I learned that there is a law that says that if a house is not inhabited, we can expropriate it.
00:15:13.000 And I think that will be my next business: invade abandoned houses.
00:15:20.000 So that is an illegal in this country that is going on social media telling his other illegal friends, guys, just go take over homes.
00:15:27.000 In America, they won't kick you out.
00:15:29.000 This is about to become orchestrated.
00:15:31.000 They are going to flood the zone.
00:15:32.000 And you might go out to dinner, go see a movie, and come back to a bunch of illegals sitting in your living room.
00:15:38.000 And it will then become their home.
00:15:42.000 Okay, Kirk fans, I need you to stop and pay attention to this.
00:15:46.000 If you deal with exhaustion, brain fog, mood swings, or food cravings, if you're constantly getting sick or simply lack the zeal you used to have in life, then I have some news for you.
00:15:55.000 While back, I found a liquid supplement called Strong Cell, and it changed my health in a very profound way.
00:16:00.000 I take it every single day.
00:16:03.000 Look, I knew I had to partner with them.
00:16:04.000 I did the research.
00:16:05.000 Google and look up online what happens when you mix NADH with CoQ10 and marine collagen.
00:16:12.000 It's simple.
00:16:12.000 Every area of your body has cells.
00:16:15.000 So if your cells are healthier, then you will also be healthier.
00:16:18.000 You don't have to take my word for it.
00:16:19.000 Listen to one of these testimonials.
00:16:21.000 After taking Strong Cell for six weeks, I found improvement in many areas, less shoulder pain, improved mental clarity, increased natural energy, and so much more.
00:16:28.000 I'm thankful that Charlie Kirk recommended this to his listeners.
00:16:31.000 Rebecca says, I absolutely love Strong Cell.
00:16:34.000 At first, I didn't think it would make much of a difference for my chronic fatigue, depression, and anxiety, but I thought I'd give it a chance.
00:16:39.000 I've tried to find depression meds for 10 years, and since you strong cell, I'm feeling better than I ever have on depression medication.
00:16:46.000 Customer for life, thank you, Charlie Kirk, for recommending this product.
00:16:50.000 So there it is.
00:16:50.000 You've heard from me directly and some of the users who have seen their lives changed by Strong Cell.
00:16:56.000 I personally recommend taking it every day for at least 30 days.
00:16:59.000 I take it every day before I go on the air, and it's helped me in more ways than I can even name.
00:17:03.000 Each of our bodies is very different.
00:17:05.000 So I would recommend you give the supplement at least two to three months to see the changes in your body.

00:17:36.000 Huge news last night.
00:17:38.000 Bernie Moreno has won the Ohio Senate primary and he joins us now.
00:17:43.000 Bernie, welcome to the program.
00:17:45.000 Bernie, I was texting with what we call the Oracle of Ohio, Andy Sarabin.
00:17:50.000 He's doing a great job for you there in Ohio.
00:17:52.000 You won every county last night.
00:17:54.000 Is that correct?
00:17:55.000 Congratulations, Bernie.
00:17:56.000 Well, thank you, Charlie, and thank you for your early endorsement.
00:17:59.000 You were with me from the very beginning.
00:18:01.000 But yeah, let me just run through the tape real quick.
00:18:03.000 We won every single one of the 88 counties in Ohio.
00:18:07.000 We got almost 51% of the vote in a three-way race.
00:18:11.000 We got 100,000 more votes than Sherrod Brown did.
00:18:15.000 And we won by almost 18%.
00:18:17.000 So we feel really good about it.
00:18:20.000 We had a lot of negative ads attacking me, about $35 million worth.
00:18:24.000 But at the end of the day, the base is there.
00:18:28.000 The America First Patriots understand what's at stake.
00:18:31.000 And we won pretty resoundingly.
00:18:32.000 And now it's on to be Sherrod Brown.
00:18:35.000 I think it was huge.
00:18:36.000 And so, Bernie, you know, without spending too much time into it, though, you ran a great campaign.
00:18:41.000 You traveled the state, but you were outspent.
00:18:44.000 Can you talk about the grassroots victory?
00:18:46.000 There was a lot of money being spent against you.
00:18:48.000 Oh, yeah.
00:18:48.000 It was $55 million spent in this race.
00:18:52.000 The vast majority of that was just nasty ads against me from all sides.
00:18:56.000 The reality is, as we know, Charlie, the left Democrats at Cabal control big tech.
00:19:03.000 They control big media.
00:19:04.000 They control big academia, but they don't control we, the people.
00:19:08.000 And we, the people, made their voices heard last night.
00:19:11.000 And we're going to have that same coalition that absolutely crushes Sherrod Brown.
00:19:16.000 As I like to say, the media doesn't like it when I say this, Charlie.
00:19:19.000 We're going to retire the old commie.
00:19:21.000 So, you know, Sherrod Brown is one of the trickier people in the U.S. Senate.
00:19:27.000 He has been away.
00:19:28.000 He's been around for a while.
00:19:29.000 He communicates to what once could be called, you know, it's kind of the, there are MAGA Sherrod Brown supporters-ish, people that are kind of the industrial Rust Belt.
00:19:40.000 What is your plan to win over those traditional Democrats that have supported Donald Trump and are supporting Republicans, but are going to be bombarded by Chuck Schumer's money to try to support Sherrod Brown?
00:19:55.000 Well, we're going to expose him because Charlie, you cannot be an ally of working class Americans when every vote you take undermines those very working class Americans.
00:20:04.000 Let's go through some examples.
00:20:06.000 You can't be for unfeathered illegal immigration that lowers the wages of American workers, that causes their car insurance, their health insurance to go up, that causes prices of food to go up, the cost of housing goes up, and be on the side of working class Americans.
00:20:22.000 You can't be on the side of working class Americans if you mandate electric vehicles and hand this industry over to China.
00:20:29.000 You can't be on the side of working class Americans if you're for this green new deal cult, climate cult programs like getting rid of natural gas, making certain that we stop mining for coal, not drilling for oil.
00:20:44.000 These are all good, high-paying union jobs that disappear with the policies of Sherrod Brown.
00:20:50.000 He's a disaster for working class Americans.
00:20:53.000 It's just that he's created a fake persona around helping working class Americans.
00:20:58.000 That's what we're going to do.
00:20:59.000 That's what I'm going to do in the Senate with JD Vance.
00:21:02.000 That's why we're going to win Ohio even more resoundingly in November than we did last night.
00:21:07.000 I love it.
00:21:07.000 And everyone, by the way, we need to help out Bernie Moreno financially.
00:21:11.000 He is now the nominee.
00:21:12.000 This is one of the greatest flip opportunities.
00:21:15.000 And Sherrod Brown, he's just kind of been able to, you know, live under the surface.
00:21:19.000 He stays out of the spotlight.
00:21:21.000 Have you noticed that, Bernie, as far as the national spotlight?
00:21:24.000 He focuses on Ohio.
00:21:26.000 He's been very careful on certain things, but his voting record is as left-wing as Bernie Sanders on certain issues.
00:21:34.000 Talk about that.
00:21:36.000 He's taken advantage of the people of Ohio for far too long.
00:21:39.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:21:40.000 This is a guy who's left of Elizabeth Warren.
00:21:43.000 He is absolutely the hardest core liberal in the United States Senate, yet the Ohio media covers for him.
00:21:49.000 He comes to Ohio and pretends he's a moderate, a good guy, wants to talk about sports and baseball and football, dresses up in an old suit and doesn't comb his hair.
00:21:58.000 And so people think that he's this working class persona.
00:22:00.000 The reality is a guy who went to Yale University, majored in Russian studies when Richard Nixon was president, started running for political office the minute he graduated from college and has been there ever since.
00:22:13.000 This is not a guy that's on our side.
00:22:16.000 This is a guy who's on the side of the very wealthy, the elites.
00:22:19.000 You're going to see big Hollywood, big tech, big Wall Street all supporting him.
00:22:24.000 Charlie, which is why I need your listeners' help.
00:22:28.000 If they could go on berniemarino.com and help with even a small financial contribution, we're going to build a great grassroots campaign because we're going to restore freedom and liberty and prosperity to this country.
00:22:40.000 But I need your help to do that.
00:22:41.000 We have to regain control of the Senate, have somebody that has President Trump's back there and make certain that we get the agenda implemented.
00:22:49.000 So, Sherrod Brown, how long has he been serving in Washington, D.C.?
00:22:54.000 It feels like multiple decades.
00:22:55.000 Is that correct?
00:22:56.000 Charlie, what were you doing when Richard Nixon was president?
00:22:59.000 I was not alive.
00:23:01.000 So it was like 30 years ago.
00:23:03.000 That's how long he's been there.
00:23:05.000 He's been there since.
00:23:06.000 Is that right?
00:23:07.000 That's extremely important.
00:23:08.000 Well, he's been in D.C. for 30.
00:23:10.000 So D.C. for 30 years, and then 20 years before that in state government.
00:23:14.000 This is a lifelong career bureaucrat politician who all he cares about is political power.
00:23:22.000 This is a guy who didn't study Russian studies because he was curious about Russian history.
00:23:27.000 This is a guy that's a full-blown Marxist communist that wants that vision of America here, which is not what we're going to allow him to do.
00:23:36.000 We're going to restore freedom and liberty in this country.
00:23:39.000 Yeah, final thought here.
00:23:40.000 What does this mean nationally for control of the U.S. Senate?
00:23:43.000 West Virginia is looking better and very, very good, obviously, unless Joe Manchin pops up.
00:23:48.000 If you flip this seat, the Senate goes Republican.
00:23:51.000 Talk about that, Bernie.
00:23:52.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:23:53.000 This is ground zero.
00:23:54.000 This is the Super Bowl, whatever analogy you want to use.
00:23:57.000 We win this race.
00:23:58.000 I win this race and defeat Sherrod Brown.
00:24:00.000 Republicans control the United States Senate.
00:24:03.000 That's imperative because we're going to have President Trump in the White House.
00:24:06.000 That's almost pretty much a done deal.
00:24:08.000 Now the question is: do we have a Republican-controlled Senate?
00:24:12.000 Without that, it's impossible for President Trump to complete his agenda.
00:24:16.000 It's extremely important that you go in there and help me get across the finish line.
00:24:21.000 Again, go on BernieMarino.com.
00:24:23.000 $5 makes a difference.
00:24:25.000 $20 makes a difference because Sherry Brown is going to have every special interest group, every radical leftist all over the globe is going to be in for Sherrod Brown.
00:24:34.000 I need your help.
00:24:36.000 Bernie, thank you so much.
00:24:37.000 BernieMarino.com.
00:24:38.000 Congratulations.
00:24:39.000 Thank you.
00:24:40.000 Thank you.
00:24:41.000 Thank you, Charlie.
00:24:42.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:24:44.000 Let's get to this clip here.
00:24:46.000 Let's go to CU 51.
00:24:50.000 Democrats, they are losing black and Hispanic voters.
00:24:53.000 This is from CNN, play cut 51.
00:24:56.000 I want to show you this New York Times Sienna College poll that found that both black and Hispanic voters say that Donald Trump's policies have helped them more than Joe Biden's policies by pretty wide margins, especially when you look at Hispanic voters.
00:25:12.000 Is that alarming to you?
00:25:14.000 The Biden administration has an incredible track record of support and making sure that it is working at all times to build an economy from the middle out and the bottom up as opposed to the top down.
00:25:29.000 If that's going to be their message, game on.
00:25:33.000 You know, I have right here just a little reminder.
00:25:37.000 The book is called White Rural Rage.
00:25:40.000 Remember, we talked about this last week?
00:25:42.000 I bought a copy of it.
00:25:43.000 It's Blake's new homework assignment to read this thing.
00:25:46.000 You hear that scream?
00:25:47.000 That's Blake screaming.
00:25:49.000 He's like, no.
00:25:51.000 I don't have time for this.
00:25:54.000 A searing portrait and damning takedown of America's proudest citizens who are the least likely to defend its core principles.
00:26:02.000 I would love the opportunity to debate or discuss with Tom Shaler and Paul Waldman what core principles exactly do they reject?
00:26:10.000 The transing of our kids.
00:26:12.000 They want a restoration of the U.S. Constitution.
00:26:15.000 They call anyone that lives in rural America and is white, you are a threat to democracy.
00:26:24.000 And this is exactly on point.
00:26:28.000 They write here in White Rural Rage, they have an entire chapter in this book.
00:26:35.000 The greatest political hand ever dealt that you as white rural voters have so much, you have a disproportionate amount of power in this country.
00:26:44.000 You have essential minority, existential threat.
00:26:48.000 They call you an existential threat to the American project.
00:26:53.000 But what core principles exactly are they espousing?
00:26:57.000 Our democracy, the threat to American democracy.
00:27:01.000 Now, mind you, they're never going to say that corrupt politicians are a threat to American elections.
00:27:08.000 They'll never say that we are borrowing a trillion dollars every 100 days.
00:27:14.000 Do they even mention that white rural voters are the ones that are most concerned about that?
00:27:19.000 We are allowing 15,000 people a day across our southern border.
00:27:25.000 And Tom Shaler and Paul Waldman, who, by the way, Tom Shaler is a professor of political silence at the University of Maryland.
00:27:32.000 Paul Waldman is a journalist and opinion writer.
00:27:35.000 And I have this just as a daily reminder that they will never, ever blame the political class, the oligarchy, the academics for the damage that is being done to our homeland.
00:27:46.000 But no, it's the citizens' fault.
00:27:49.000 It is a top-down revolution against the people who built this country.
00:27:54.000 The people that shower before work and shower after work.
00:27:57.000 What we saw in Ohio yesterday was a refutation of that.
00:28:05.000 They are tired in Dayton, Ohio, being called the problem.
00:28:10.000 In Columbus, Ohio, being called the problem.
00:28:14.000 They pay their taxes, they go to church, they raise their kids, and they are scolded by their politicians saying that you are a threat to the country.
00:28:28.000 For years, I've been talking about our nation's public schools have been captured by progressive ideologues, especially true if you're a Christian family.
00:28:34.000 For those of you worried about the best educational path for your kids and grandkids, I want to tell you about how Turning Point Academy is working with the Herzog Foundation, how you at home can also benefit from it.
00:28:43.000 They have an online publication called The Lion, and also making the leap, the Herzog Foundation offers a wide range of advice and information for Christian parents to make the best education decisions for your kids.
00:28:52.000 Go to Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:54.000 That is Herzogfoundation.com.
00:28:55.000 So check it out right now, HerzogFoundation.com.
00:28:58.000 Portions of the Charlie Kirk show are brought to you in part by the Stanley M. Herzog Foundation.
00:29:02.000 That is HerzogFoundation.com.
00:29:07.000 Are you happy?
00:29:08.000 Well, there's a lot to be happy about, and your circumstances should not determine your happiness.
00:29:15.000 Happiness is a choice.
00:29:17.000 One of the most important life lessons.
00:29:21.000 Happiness is a choice.
00:29:24.000 Some people say, you know, I'm not happy because I don't have the job I want.
00:29:27.000 I'm not happy because of the circumstances.
00:29:30.000 You have to find happiness in everything that you do.
00:29:35.000 The latest survey shows that America is not one of the happiest countries on the planet.
00:29:45.000 In fact, it shows that America has now slipped in the happiness index to about 20 or 22nd of the happiest countries on the planet.
00:29:56.000 Now, there's a lot of reasons for this.
00:29:58.000 We're poisoning our kids with the food that we feed them.
00:30:03.000 The lack of community, the lack of purpose, the lack of culture, unified culture, the lack of national story.
00:30:10.000 And I also think we are being flooded with madness.
00:30:13.000 Now, the methodology isn't perfect.
00:30:15.000 It just asks people to rate their life out of 10.
00:30:18.000 Sweden ranks highly, but I'll bet a lot of Swedes are kind of like the Stepford wives.
00:30:23.000 Lots of pressure to say they love Sweden.
00:30:24.000 Yes, this is great.
00:30:25.000 I love the diversity, even though Sweden is not that diverse.
00:30:29.000 They've had a mass immigration in the last 10 years, but it's still, they're largely homogeneous in Sweden.
00:30:36.000 Why is America self-describing as an unhappier country?
00:30:41.000 Well, it's because we are.
00:30:43.000 You're living in the most depressed, suicidal, anxious country that we've ever seen.
00:30:51.000 I do want your opinions, though.
00:30:52.000 I want to hear from you, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:30:54.000 Why do you think America is becoming unhappier?
00:30:58.000 The real, the more important question is not are you happy?
00:31:01.000 It's are you living a purposeful life?
00:31:03.000 Can you find purpose and meaning in what you do?
00:31:06.000 Viktor Frankl, who wrote Man's Search for Meaning, says we must pursue deep fulfillment.
00:31:12.000 Happiness is a byproduct of living a meaningful life.
00:31:16.000 Sleeping in till 1 p.m., smoking weed all day, watching pornography, being overweight shouldn't be a surprise that people that do that tend to not be happy.
00:31:29.000 There's no purpose in that.
00:31:31.000 And you're not going to be able to get purpose with ease.
00:31:35.000 In fact, a purposeful life has difficulty, has challenges, has tribulations.
00:31:40.000 So we're really asking the wrong question.
00:31:43.000 But understand, so much of the spiritual disciplines that built the West, we have forgotten.
00:31:47.000 We used to have blue laws.
00:31:48.000 We used to honor the Sabbath in this country.
00:31:50.000 I wish we still would.
00:31:51.000 Church attendance has declined rapidly.
00:31:55.000 You are seeing the excesses of secularism.
00:31:58.000 This generation, the younger generation, will be the first to inherit a more secular America than Christian America.
00:32:07.000 How's it working for you?
00:32:08.000 Your mascot is Dylan Mulvaney.
00:32:10.000 The flag is the pride flag.
00:32:12.000 The religion is the cult religion of some sort of combination of anti-racism and earth worship and trans identification.
00:32:22.000 We have deteriorated the idea of loving your neighbor and even looking out for your neighbor.
00:32:27.000 We are flooding our country with illegals.
00:32:32.000 It's demoralizing, but it's not an excuse.
00:32:36.000 Despite everything that is happening to the country, despite seeing your beloved home fall apart on a daily basis, you still have the ability to be happy and to live a purposeful life.
00:32:51.000 But it should be talked about in Congress.
00:32:54.000 You know, they say, oh, you know, we're building America from the bottom up and the middle out.
00:32:58.000 Why are people so unhappy in this country?
00:33:02.000 They see themselves getting poorer.
00:33:04.000 They see their kids being trans.
00:33:07.000 You can attract happiness by loving your neighbor as yourself, as it says in Leviticus 19.
00:33:12.000 It's not bad advice.
00:33:13.000 Maybe we should get back to it.
00:33:15.000 If America would just do a restoration of the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments, we'd be a far happier country.
00:33:21.000 Honor your parents that you may live long in the land of which you are in.
00:33:24.000 For six days you shall work.
00:33:26.000 For one day you shall rest to keep the Sabbath day holy.
00:33:29.000 You shall not covet, shall not steal.
00:33:31.000 You shall have no other gods before me.
00:33:33.000 You shall make no craven images.
00:33:36.000 What a wild idea.
00:33:38.000 And maybe this postmodern pile of garbage is making us less happy.
00:33:48.000 Thanks so much for listening.
00:33:49.000 Everybody, email us as alwaysfreedom at charliekirk.com.
00:33:52.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
