00:02:23.000 It's really hard for me to be proud of this city anymore.

00:03:21.000 And now it's in the best neighborhood of Chicago, Street of Ville.

00:03:25.000 I said, well, stop electing Democrats.

00:03:28.000 And there are a lot of people that are very afraid.
00:03:30.000 I also got texts from people that said, Charlie, this crime spree is out of control.

00:03:37.000 Just so you know, I've got plenty of messages like that.
00:03:40.000 People that are blaming President Donald Trump for the crime spree of criminals and thugs and gangbangers.

00:03:51.000 I really believe America is the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world.

00:03:59.000 And if people continually vote these people into office, I don't know what I'm going to think anymore.
00:04:04.000 This is from the article, quote, videos circulating online show widespread looting and clashes with police across Chicago's Magnificent Mile Shopping District early Monday, sparked by an officer involved shooting hours earlier that left a 20-year-old man wounded.

00:06:30.000 This is something out of Nicaragua or Southeast Asia or something that looks like a revolution.

00:06:36.000 So what started all of this insanity?
00:06:40.000 Well, Attorney General Bill Barr referred to it as urban guerrilla warfare.
00:06:46.000 Now, some people are calling that racist.
00:06:48.000 Well, they don't know what the term guerrilla means.
00:06:50.000 And if you all of a sudden hear guerrilla and you think it is racist, then you're actually the racist.
00:06:55.000 Because guerrilla means underground.
00:06:57.000 It doesn't mean an animal.
00:06:58.000 It's not trying to make any sort of racial implications.
00:07:01.000 That is a lazy and sloppy analysis.
00:07:04.000 The violence and the rioting began Sunday afternoon after police responded to a report of a man with a gun in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
00:07:12.000 Police pursued the suspect, who was on foot when he turned, quote, and turned and fired shots at officers before being struck himself and taken to a local hospital.
00:07:22.000 Deputy Chief of Police Dolanda Talley told Fox 32 Chicago.
00:07:28.000 To make a situation even worse, a crowd which had gathered at the scene started throwing objects at officers like concrete, bricks, and blocks.
00:07:36.000 Why?
00:07:37.000 Over a false rumor that the suspect who is 20 years old, who was actually a young child, he's 20 years old, and he shoots at police.
00:07:44.000 He should be in prison.
00:07:46.000 The suspect had previously been arrested four times for charges, including burglary, child endangerment, and domestic battery.
00:07:56.000 Seems like a real winner for society.
00:07:58.000 Listen, we never celebrate when a life is lost.
00:08:02.000 But from all indications, this was a justified shooting.
00:08:06.000 So the same rumors that agitated the crowd surrounding the scene of the shooting started spreading online.
00:08:11.000 These false rumors were quickly spread on social media, followed by calls for looting and rioting.
00:08:17.000 And then overnight, Chicago burned.
00:08:20.000 This is terrorism.
00:08:21.000 This is insurrection.
00:08:23.000 This is not time to play nice or to say, oh, they had to get their feelings out.
00:08:26.000 This is no different than if al-Qaeda came into our country and started to burn storefronts and to shoot police officers.
00:08:33.000 It is no difference.
00:08:34.000 The only difference is that these people happen to be citizens of the United States.
00:08:38.000 They need to be arrested.
00:08:39.000 They need to be tried and put in prison for the rest of their life.
00:08:41.000 There's going to be a zero tolerance policy at all whatsoever.
00:08:44.000 And if a police officer is threatened in any way, shape, or form, they should be able to defend themselves.
00:08:48.000 I know people in Chicago, including many people I'm very close to, that were texting me about this and they said, the country is out of control.
00:08:56.000 It's spiraling out of control.
00:08:57.000 I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago.
00:08:59.000 I know this city.
00:09:00.000 We would visit there once a week.
00:09:01.000 I know the streets that have just turned into absolute bedlam.
00:09:06.000 And for those of you that have never been to Chicago or you only visited once or twice, you might say, oh, what is the difference?
00:09:10.000 Chicago has always been a city where controversies and riots have happened.
00:09:17.000 But it's Chicago's ability to be able to overcome that, despite all the institutional and political corruption, that made Chicago a safe place to live, generally in certain parts, despite the gang neighborhoods like Englewood.
00:09:29.000 But that's not where this happened.
00:09:31.000 You have to understand where the looting and the rioting, the arson was happening.
00:09:37.000 It would be as if the rioters went straight into Beverly Hills, which they have in recent weeks, or the rioters went straight into Madison Avenue.
00:09:45.000 This was in Streeterville in Chicago, one of the nicest parts of one of the greatest, once great cities in the world.
00:09:51.000 Police arrested over 100 people so far on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to battery against police.
00:09:58.000 However, the district attorney for Chicago, Kim Fox, who is another incredibly dangerous person, she's letting first-degree murderers out on cash bail.
00:10:09.000 And we're all surprised all of a sudden that crime is running the streets in Chicago.
00:10:13.000 13 officers were injured or hurt in the rioting.
00:10:15.000 This includes a sergeant who was struck in the face of the bottle, another officer who had his nose broken from looters who assaulted him, and a security guard and a civilian who are now in critical condition after being hit with gunfire during looting overnight.
00:10:29.000 Five guns in total have been recovered from those arrested.
00:10:32.000 The Chicago police superintendent David Brown said, quote, this was an incident of pure criminality.
00:10:37.000 This was an act of violence against our police officers and against our city.
00:10:41.000 I, for one, refuse to allow these cowardly acts to hold our city hostage.
00:10:44.000 CPD will not stand by as our beautiful downtown becomes someplace that people fear. 0.99

00:10:59.000 President Trump wanted to bring in federal forces and federal agents, and all of them, including Mary Lori Lightfoot, who might have said something nicely, all of a sudden, they don't want it.

00:11:10.000 And look, we're also getting reports that the Chicago Police Department detectives will comb over high-definition footage of suspects and vehicles from the looting scenes, suggesting that more arrests are coming.

00:11:21.000 I mean, look, I might be too hard on David Brown, but my patience is wearing so thin.
00:11:26.000 I mean, they're not doing their job.
00:11:27.000 They're just not. 1.00
00:11:28.000 They're overseeing an entire city where there are hundreds and hundreds of black people that are shooting hundreds and hundreds of other black people every single summer. 0.99

00:11:53.000 If you live in Chicago, get out as quickly as you possibly can.

00:11:58.000 This will turn into some form of a dystopian Gotham city.
00:12:01.000 It will not turn around because Democrats are continually in control.
00:12:07.000 This isn't a protest about justice, by the way.
00:12:09.000 This isn't poor people looking for money to feed their family.
00:12:14.000 This is lawlessness.
00:12:16.000 This is widespread chaos.
00:12:19.000 So let's play a clip of David Brown talking to reporters.
00:12:22.000 Frankly, sounding sensible, but I'm tougher on David Brown than most conservatives because I've seen the Chicago police be completely inactivated for so long during the riots and during the arson.

00:12:36.000 Some of it is just because the police do not want to go into certain neighborhoods and they've not taken responsibility for what they're supposed to do.

00:12:44.000 It almost sounds as though you were saying this is the reason we have it is because the courts and the prosecutors were not doing their job, that they were going too easy on the looters from the last time around.

00:21:04.000 And then finally, one thing I want to leave you guys with is that 18 days ago, Mayor Ted Wheeler tweeted, What I saw last night in Portland was powerful in many ways.
00:21:14.000 I listened, heard, and stood with protesters, and I saw what it means when the federal government unleashes paramilitary forces against its own people.
00:21:22.000 He, in fact, called our federal agents paramilitary forces.
00:21:26.000 And around this same time, our federal officers were facing rioters, barricading officers inside the courthouse, trapping officers inside, launching of commercial-grade fireworks.
00:21:37.000 A federal agent's hand was impaled by planted nails.
00:21:40.000 Three officers were likely, were at least temporarily, I should say, blinded when a laser was put in their eyes.
00:21:47.000 This has been an ongoing tactic by the rioters.
00:21:50.000 That was 18 days ago when Mayor Wheeler stood with the rioters and against the, quote, paramilitary forces.
00:21:57.000 But just four days ago, it appears Mayor Wheeler had a change of heart as local officers took over the situation in Portland.
00:22:04.000 And he now, I guess, this is what he believes now: quote, when you commit arson with an accelerant in an attempt to burn down a building that is occupied by people who you have intentionally trapped inside, you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder.
00:22:20.000 He could not be more right about that.
00:22:22.000 It is a drastic change.
00:22:24.000 It took him 73 days, I suppose, to come up with that realization.
00:22:28.000 And what we're seeing in Portland with six nights in a row, riots being declared on Wednesday, you had some of these rioters shining lasers in officers' eyes, disable security cameras, broke windows, used boards to barricade the doors and start a fire with 20 sworn officers and civilian employees inside.
00:22:47.000 This is unacceptable, and it is encouraging to see that the liberal mayor of Portland finally seems to realize that.
00:22:53.000 Thank you, everyone.
00:22:54.000 Wheeler is yet another mayor who tried to play tough with President Trump, who is now admitting what should have been plainly obvious, that this is crime.
00:23:03.000 This is violence.
00:23:05.000 This is the destruction of our cities.
00:23:07.000 This is not, quote, peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.
00:23:12.000 And this is a perfect segue to Attorney General Barr's amazing interview on Life Liberty in Levin.
00:23:20.000 Barr called the left's insatiable need for power a, quote, new form of domestic guerrilla warfare.
00:23:27.000 Attorney General Barr went on with the great one on Mark Levin.
00:23:30.000 I've been on the show before.
00:23:31.000 It was great to see the Attorney General to discuss the crime wave that is infecting our cities like Chicago, like Portland, like New York City, and so many others.
00:23:39.000 He called BLM Incorporated a, quote, revolutionary group that is interested in some form of socialism or communism. 0.64
00:23:46.000 They're essentially Bolsheviks.
00:23:48.000 Their tactics are fascistic, which means fascist. 0.59
00:23:51.000 Their tactics are what he called a new form of urban guerrilla warfare.

00:23:57.000 In this document, this research, they talk about the roots of Antifa in the Bider-Meinhof gang and Germany and other really violent radical organizations in the United States, similar to the Black Panthers, similar to the Weather Underground, except they're more network.

00:24:16.000 They seem to have more ammunition of sorts to use against police officers and so forth.
00:24:23.000 And apparently they get a lot of their funding online.
00:24:27.000 I have to believe that our agencies and so forth are really trying to construct some kind of scenario about what we're dealing with and how to undo this.

00:24:40.000 It's a form of sort of a new form of urban guerrilla warfare.
00:24:45.000 You know, Mao used to speak, Mao Te Tong used to speak about the guerrilla being like fish swimming in the ocean, the way the guerrilla moves through the people.
00:24:56.000 The guerrilla hides out among the people as a fish in the ocean.
00:25:01.000 And what they do is they are essentially shielding themselves or shrouding themselves in First Amendment activity.
00:25:09.000 They go into the demonstrations, which are exercising First Amendment activity, and they insinuate themselves in there to shield themselves.
00:25:18.000 That's where they swim.
00:25:20.000 And what they do is they hijack these demonstrations and they provoke violence and they have various tiers of people from the sort of top provocateurs down through people who are their minions and sort of run the violent missions.
00:25:37.000 But it's a difficult phenomenon to deal with.
00:25:41.000 They're highly organized at these demonstrations.
00:25:45.000 So he makes some very important points here, a distinction, actually, that is really being overlooked.
00:25:51.000 That these rioters and domestic terrorists are co-opting what could have been a peaceful movement.
00:25:57.000 Like we've always said before in this show, the phrase Black Lives Matter is a true statement, a factual statement.

00:26:04.000 All lives matter.
00:26:06.000 Every race matters.
00:26:07.000 The problem with BLM Incorporated, and people are finally waking up to this, is that they're a Marxist insurgency organization operating under the guise of a humanitarian pro-America cause.
00:26:19.000 And it goes all the way up to the top of our institutions that prop up these guerrilla warriors.
00:26:25.000 Rudy Giuliani went on Fox News and called BLM Incorporated a domestic terror group.

00:26:37.000 And so far, they haven't said a single word, even when the terrible violence is taking place by Antifa or by Black Lives Matter, both of whom are domestic terrorist roots, without any doubt.

00:26:58.000 The chaos has spread across these cities, and he knows how to stop it because he did it in the early 90s in New York City.
