00:06:45.000 They are saying things like, we need to moderate on these positions.

00:07:45.000 Saving girls sports, getting rid of men all across the country, banning taxpayer funding of sex change procedures for minors.

00:07:54.000 And the third is defunding these woke DEI and transgender programming in schools.

00:08:01.000 We are going to be supporting him every single day, defending him in the press, defending him in the public to make sure that this gets done.

00:23:29.000 Well, I think we've seen it with John Cornyn, John Thune, who are both very much establishment guys, coming out and saying, hey, I'm going to support the president.

00:23:47.000 And I think Donald Trump needs to be prepared to go full Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder on any Republican who refuses to get on board.

00:25:45.000 And to do that requires a team of people who are on board and loyal.

00:25:50.000 And he's already getting that, and that's great.

00:25:53.000 But he also needs to apply a whip and a chair to the federal bureaucracy.

00:25:57.000 The federal bureaucracy is not a fourth branch of government, Charlie.

00:26:00.000 It is to make the will of the chief executive elected by the American people, by a majority of the national popular vote, which doesn't actually exist, but we'll cite it just for fun, to bring that to fruition.

00:26:16.000 But look at this horrible behavior we've seen.

00:26:20.000 Can you believe a federal official actually said, if they have a Trump sign in the front yard, you FEMA people will walk on by?

00:26:58.000 The problem, Charlie, and you and I have talked about this before, is that the kind of woke, cultural, Marxism, leftist nonsense they have is what fills them up where normal people fill it up with faith, family, and the flag.

00:32:54.000 Republicans who would basically accept all these Democrat premises, which is that it was racist to disagree with the Democrats on things, and the only reason that people weren't voting Republican is that Republicans were too racist, basically.

00:33:09.000 This was kind of the Paul Ryan assumption.

00:33:11.000 So they would go around basically just giving lectures to voters of color, saying, like, oh, you know, I'm not actually racist.

00:33:19.000 Unsurprisingly, this didn't work.

00:33:20.000 It wasn't a very winning message.

00:33:22.000 Trump just kind of comes out like a sledgehammer and he's like, yeah, we're going to make America great again.

00:33:27.000 It's bad.

00:33:28.000 People are coming in.

00:33:29.000 They're stealing your job.

00:33:30.000 He just has this intense machismo.

00:33:34.000 He...

00:33:36.000 He lays it on very straight.

00:33:37.000 He's very blunt.

00:33:38.000 And it turns out this is a winning political message.

00:33:41.000 He doesn't concede all of this presumptive ground to the left.

00:33:46.000 He doesn't presume that the left is, like, morally superior to him, which was a very common problem for Republicans 15 years ago.

00:33:55.000 And once you stop conceding that ground, you can actually win people straight up.

00:33:59.000 And it also helped that the left just completely went off the deep end.

00:34:03.000 It got hijacked by a relatively small part of the party that just was very profoundly insane on all of these social questions.

00:34:11.000 And again, if you had this old Mitt Romney-esque thing, your attitude would be, well, you know, they're morally in the right direction and we'll catch up eventually.

00:34:20.000 And instead, you had someone who would just counterpunch and say, yeah, the left is actually super insane. 0.65

00:34:25.000 They're mutilating your kids. 1.00

00:34:26.000 They're killing babies. 1.00

00:34:28.000 When you say it very directly like that, you can win a lot of people over.

00:34:33.000 The entire Democrat monopoly on those voters was based on getting people to vote more liberal than their actual beliefs were.

00:34:42.000 And Trump kicked in the door and said, you don't have to do that anymore.
