00:03:24.000 Expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:03:30.000 So I rarely do this.
00:03:31.000 I'm going to ask you guys to send this story to your friends.
00:03:35.000 And so I do a lot of traveling and speaking, as many of you know, with what we do at Turning Point USA, and we get the message out.
00:03:42.000 And I have an above-average talent on a couple things.
00:03:47.000 One of them is to read audiences.
00:03:49.000 I do that pretty well.
00:03:51.000 And when I read an audience and I tell them about black-only dormitories or black-only graduation ceremonies or black-only classrooms, people's eyes light up.
00:04:03.000 What do you mean there's segregation happening in our country?
00:04:07.000 Of course there is.
00:04:09.000 And I rarely ask you all to do this, but I'm going to ask you to listen to this story and send this story to your liberal friends and relatives.
00:04:18.000 In fact, if you want, here's some help for you.
00:04:22.000 For those of you that are going to be encountering some liberals in Thanksgiving, this is the story for you.
00:04:31.000 If you think you're going to be encountering some left-wingers on Thanksgiving that are going to be asking for vaccine passports before you can eat the pumpkin pie, and you're not really sure what topics or issues might arise, first I encourage you to play offense as soon as the topic comes up.
00:04:49.000 And there's only one thing that you should talk about.
00:04:54.000 There's only one story I hope you zero in on because I think it highlights the differences between the people that are trying to preserve and conserve the country and people that are trying to deconstruct the country altogether.
00:05:12.000 This story continues to repeat itself.
00:05:16.000 It replicates itself in many separate and different manifestations.
00:05:23.000 And at a fundamental level, Americans know that there's something evil, pernicious, and very troubling about this.
00:05:34.000 And I would just ask your liberal relatives, your left-wing relatives, I should say, are they okay with this?
00:05:40.000 Theblaze.com, New York Junior High School, segregates students by race in order to undo legacy of racism.
00:05:53.000 A junior high school in Manhattan is racially segregating students as part of its efforts to discuss identity and social justice issues, the New York Post reported.
00:06:04.000 According to the paper, an email to parents of students at the Lower Manhattan Community School said the institution will be splitting kids into categories based on race as part of its efforts to, quote, undo the legacy of racism and oppression in this country that impacts our school community.
00:06:23.000 On November 23rd, 24th, so today and tomorrow, seventh and eighth graders will explore the question: quote, how do our racial identities influence our experiences?
00:06:36.000 An affinity group is group formed around a shared interest.
00:06:41.000 The affinity groups will categorize students by race.
00:06:44.000 White students will have one group, Asians will have their own, black and Hispanic students will be combined into one group.
00:06:52.000 And mixed race students will have their own category.
00:06:55.000 If a student is one of those kids who has a problem with the segregation, he can join a fifth group that says they appear to be uncomfortable with the format.
00:07:05.000 And before I go any further, here's a pretty obvious question.
00:07:09.000 What if the kid's half black and half white?
00:07:12.000 What group do they go into?
00:07:15.000 Oh, you're not allowed to ask that question.
00:07:17.000 Yeah.
00:07:19.000 Are they half oppressed?
00:07:21.000 Do they have to pay reparations to themselves?
00:07:24.000 No, they're half oppressed or half oppressed.
00:07:26.000 A total conflict.
00:07:30.000 Connor, can you find the quote from W. E.B. Du Bois, where he said that race is the true driver of history.
00:07:42.000 I think that would be really helpful.
00:07:44.000 I read that the other day.
00:07:46.000 The Post editorial board added its objection in an editorial posted on Sunday night.
00:07:54.000 So they racially segregate the seventh and eighth graders.
00:07:59.000 Now, this is not a one-off thing.
00:08:02.000 For example, at Western Washington University, they have black-only dormitories.
00:08:12.000 Western Washington University implements segregated, black-only student housing.
00:08:18.000 What's amazing is I'm reading the story from blackenterprise.com, and Black Enterprise is celebrating this.
00:08:26.000 Now, if you do take the teachings of Malcolm X seriously, this is a precursor to what Malcolm X argued for.
00:08:36.000 Malcolm X, the militant Nation of Islam leader, very violent, by the way, encouraged Black Panther violence.
00:08:47.000 He was consistent, though.
00:08:50.000 You see, Malcolm X said that America's racist, therefore we need our own country.
00:08:55.000 Blacks need their own country.
00:08:57.000 Now, there's a really interesting story that most people don't know about the black leaders.
00:09:03.000 I think Frederick Douglass was involved in this meeting.
00:09:06.000 So there was a private meeting that occurred with Abraham Lincoln right before the end of the Civil War, obviously before Abraham Lincoln was shot.
00:09:13.000 And black leaders met with Abraham Lincoln, and I'll actually find this story in the break.
00:09:19.000 It's sometimes hard to find this.
00:09:21.000 Abraham Lincoln actually offered blacks their own country.
00:09:26.000 Now, this wasn't the first attempt to do that.
00:09:28.000 The first attempt to repatriate blacks out of the country was actually done by President James Monroe, the fifth president, for a country that is known as Liberia.
00:09:41.000 Liberia is in the western part of Africa.
00:09:44.000 And you might say, well, Charlie, what's the capital of Liberia?
00:09:47.000 I'm glad you asked.
00:09:47.000 It's Monrovia.
00:09:49.000 It was an actual project.
00:09:51.000 It was called the Black Independence Liberty Project, right, Connor?
00:09:54.000 Black Liberty Project.
00:09:56.000 It failed miserably.
00:09:57.000 Blacks didn't want to leave.
00:09:58.000 They're like, yeah, I don't like slavery, but I definitely don't want to go back to Africa.
00:10:02.000 There are some people that took him up on it.
00:10:04.000 If you actually look at the Liberian flag, the Liberian flag is very similar to the American flag.
00:10:10.000 Very similar.
00:10:11.000 Liberia also has a Bill of Rights, and Liberia is a great example of how we are more than just documents, that we are a people with an ethos.
00:10:20.000 It's a separate topic for a different time.
00:10:22.000 But Liberia has a lot of the same ideas, and they're one of the least free countries in the world.
00:10:27.000 It's almost a carbon copy of the American flag.
00:10:29.000 That's Liberia.
00:10:30.000 So Liberia was an attempt to do what Malcolm X later wanted to do.
00:10:35.000 But in the 1850s, a group of blacks went to Abraham Lincoln, and Abraham Lincoln was like, look, if you guys want your own country, we can arrange that.
00:10:45.000 If you black leaders want your own country, we can help you with that.
00:10:51.000 And they deliberated amongst themselves.
00:10:54.000 And of course, deliberation comes before a decision, according to Aristotle.
00:10:58.000 Deliberation is one of the highest forms, and contemplation, I'm sorry.
00:11:01.000 Deliberation leads to contemplation, which will hopefully lead to truth.
00:11:04.000 And they came back to Abraham Lincoln.
00:11:05.000 You know what they said?
00:11:07.000 They said, this is our home.
00:11:10.000 This happened on August 14th, 1862.
00:11:13.000 Abraham Lincoln did something unprecedented.
00:11:16.000 He met with black leaders, all free black clergymen, and he said, We're happy to support a new black country.
00:11:28.000 They were even talking about South Africa, South America.
00:11:30.000 I'm sorry.
00:11:31.000 And Lincoln mentioned Liberia because this was a suggestion before.
00:11:39.000 Now, this movement didn't really gain much traction until Malcolm X resurrected this idea before his assassination, where Malcolm X basically said that blacks can never be free in this country.
00:11:52.000 We have to go back.
00:11:53.000 And you could say a lot about Malcolm X.
00:11:55.000 That actually is the logical conclusion.
00:12:00.000 That is the logical answer if you think America is systemically racist.
00:12:04.000 Leave.
00:12:05.000 Now, I don't think America is systemically racist, so I'm not encouraging people to leave.
00:12:09.000 But if you believe that, like Tahanisi Coates does, then why are you still here?
00:12:14.000 If you believe it can never be fixed, then you should just leave, repatriate, go away.
00:12:18.000 But they don't want that, right?
00:12:20.000 There's this tension, which is America is such a great country that even those who hate it refuse to leave.
00:12:26.000 A lot of you are going to be up against relatives, maybe your smug 19-year-old daughter that went to Stanford who eats vegan now and is non-binary and thinks America is systemically racist.
00:12:37.000 It's time to put them on offense, this defense, this Thanksgiving, and ask a very simple question: Do you support black-only classrooms, black-only dormitories, and the resegregation of American society?
00:12:48.000 Yes or no?
00:12:52.000 I want to tell you guys about Good Ranchers, okay?
00:12:54.000 You've heard me talk about it a lot.
00:12:56.000 Look, Good Ranchers, they achieve the trifecta.
00:12:59.000 The trifecta is very simple: one, everyone has to eat.
00:13:02.000 Two, you love the country.
00:13:04.000 Three, you want to support the Charlie Kirk show.
00:13:06.000 So, Good Ranchers, they send you boxes of meat.
00:13:08.000 When we get a box of meat from Good Ranchers, it's bedlam.
00:13:12.000 People fight over the meat.
00:13:15.000 It is the closest thing to Christmas morning I've ever seen with adults.
00:13:19.000 And Good Ranchers has a limited time offer for all of our listeners: 10 free bistro fillets when you enter promo code Charlie at checkout.
00:13:27.000 If you go to goodranchers.com/slash Charlie right now, this is a $100 value-free with promo code Charlie.
00:13:33.000 I want you to imagine over 100,000 Americans losing their jobs.
00:13:36.000 So you could stop imagining because it's a reality.
00:13:39.000 Since 2015, over 100,000 independent farms and ranches in the United States have shut down.
00:13:44.000 Why?
00:13:45.000 Because foreign meat is stealing their business and robbing you the quality and flavor you deserve.
00:13:49.000 That's why Good Ranchers is here.
00:13:50.000 They exist to support local American farms to help you make great American meals.
00:13:54.000 Together, they want to restore the American ranch and your meals to their former glory.
00:13:58.000 Get the beef, chicken, and seafood that can't be imported or matched at goodranchers.com.
00:14:03.000 Did you know the product made in the USA has been stolen by foreign countries or prodded to the USA?
00:14:08.000 They process their meat here and then they fraudulently label it as if it came here from America.
00:14:14.000 Good Ranchers is here to put America first at the dinner table and the farmers that work to raise the meat we eat.
00:14:19.000 So do me a favor: get a box of Good Ranchers.
00:14:21.000 It supports the country.

00:15:03.000 Segregation is evil.
00:15:05.000 I had a whole campus tour around how segregation was evil, and yet the Associated Press then comes out with an article saying that I'm the one using race to try and stoke controversy.
00:15:16.000 No, no, no.
00:15:17.000 You obviously didn't listen to any of the campus tour that we had.
00:15:20.000 I think segregation is evil and awful.
00:15:22.000 I think judging people based on the color of their skin is a sin.
00:15:26.000 Washingtonexaminer.com.
00:15:28.000 More than 75 colleges host black-only graduation ceremonies.
00:15:34.000 A new report from the National Association of Scholars has identified more than 75 schools offering segregated graduations.
00:15:42.000 The National Association of Scholars looked at 173 schools and found that 76 of them offer ceremonies, including Harvard, UC San Diego, UC Irvine.
00:15:52.000 Oh, Arizona State University.
00:15:53.000 Did you know that?
00:15:54.000 Arizona State University does black-only graduation ceremonies.
00:15:59.000 I didn't know the KKK was running Arizona State University.
00:16:02.000 Actually, I did after the recent way they handled that apparatchik.
00:16:07.000 It's very simple that if you're trying to look for clarity this Thanksgiving with your left-wing relatives, just ask them these very simple questions.
00:16:19.000 What is the moral framework you are working from to justify the resegregation of people based on their skin color?
00:16:28.000 It's that simple.
00:16:29.000 What is the moral framework?
00:16:30.000 Because the moral framework of identity politics or critical race theory or diversity, equity, inclusion is the elevation of disfavored groups and the suppression of favored groups, or vice versa.
00:16:44.000 Depends who you put in what category.
00:16:46.000 So if you're a white, straight man, they want to try to crush you.
00:16:49.000 But I look at the story breaking today.
00:16:51.000 Right now, as this is happening, schools in New York have been re-segregated today.
00:16:58.000 The lower Manhattan Community School right now is having white kids go to one classroom and black kids go to another classroom.
00:17:06.000 Now, this is just begging for a federal lawsuit.
00:17:09.000 Now, what I don't understand, though, is where's the Department of Justice using Title VII of the United States Civil Rights Act, going after schools that are now segregating kids based on skin color?
00:17:24.000 And also, do they think this is going to de-radicalize people or further radicalize them?
00:17:29.000 Of course, it's going to create more radicalism.
00:17:31.000 They want more radicalism.
00:17:32.000 Radicalism is lifeblood to a regime that never actually wants to get anything consequential done for their citizens.
00:17:40.000 Instead, they want the constant carousel of mirage issues popping up.
00:17:47.000 Go look at Rittenhouse.
00:17:48.000 Go look at Ahmad Arbery.
00:17:50.000 Go look at Breonna Taylor.
00:17:51.000 Don't actually look at how gas prices are going up or middle class wages are going down or how it's harder to have children than ever before.
00:17:59.000 Here's a breaking news story that should be the number one news story in the country.
00:18:06.000 The birth rate decline won't be ending anytime soon.
00:18:10.000 Interesting.
00:18:12.000 I wonder if there was a show back in the summer of 2020 that said we're on the verge of a population collapse.
00:18:18.000 We tried to warn people.
00:18:21.000 Young people, because they went to college, do not believe that having children is necessary.
00:18:28.000 And remember this story from earlier this year.
00:18:31.000 Ivy League University, Cornell University, has defended a course saying that white people are not allowed to attend the course.
00:18:41.000 The course is designed for people of color underrepresented in the sport of rock climbing to learn the sport and to feel included and supported.
00:18:50.000 What is the country that they're trying to create?
00:18:54.000 They're trying to create a country where they want the Liberia project to happen here.
00:19:01.000 They don't want white people to participate in the society that they're trying to create.
00:19:08.000 And so the question is very simple.
00:19:09.000 And we're going to post this story at charliekirk.com.
00:19:13.000 Do you believe that New York junior high schoolers should be segregated based on the color of their skin?
00:19:21.000 If you believed in Martin Luther King Jr.'s complaints and the moral crusade he did in the 50s and 60s, why are you silent and okay with this now?
00:19:31.000 Are you okay just because it's against white people?
00:19:34.000 And some activists say, well, it's our turn to eat.
00:19:37.000 That's what some activists say.
00:19:41.000 As if intergenerational blood ancestral guilt, that just because you look like someone that might have done something wrong, we must now punish you accordingly.
00:19:51.000 That's the moral framework we're going to operate under.
00:19:55.000 This is going to head in a direction that no one wants it to go to.
00:19:58.000 Real radicalism is about to pop up in this country, and I think they want it.
00:20:03.000 I think this is a massive concoction campaign to stir up radicalism where it doesn't exist, to be able to shadow box against it, to justify a power grab over the rest of the country.
00:20:14.000 If you support segregation, you're a leftist.
00:20:19.000 And if not, you love the country.
00:20:22.000 Internet privacy is extremely important.
00:20:25.000 New news out shows that Google has been colluding with the federal government to hand over your data if you might have searched something wrong into the search bar.
00:20:36.000 So what are you doing to protect your search history?
00:20:39.000 Well, this is why you need ExpressVPN.
00:20:41.000 Using the internet without ExpressVPN is like going to the bathroom and not closing the door.
00:20:47.000 It's in fact even worse than that.
00:20:49.000 It's inviting someone into the bathroom, which is really weird and creepy.
00:20:51.000 Internet service providers know every single website you visit.
00:20:55.000 ISPs can sell this data and information to ad companies and tech giants who then use your data to target you.
00:21:03.000 Express VPN creates a secure, encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet.
00:21:09.000 So your online activity cannot be seen by anyone.
00:21:12.000 It's as easy as closing the bathroom door and fire up the app and click one button.
00:21:16.000 I use it on all my devices.
00:21:18.000 Every device, I have those beautiful three letters, VPN with a rectangle around it.
00:21:24.000 It's rated number one by CNET and tech radar.
00:21:28.000 Here's the cool thing.
00:21:29.000 It works on phones, laptops, and even routers.
00:21:32.000 So everyone who shares your Wi-Fi can be protected.
00:21:36.000 Here's the thing.
00:21:37.000 I have it on my iPhone.
00:21:38.000 I have it on my iPad.
00:21:39.000 I have it on my computer.
00:21:41.000 ExpressVPN for me has been a game changer to be able to know that the tech companies or the government, they have to go through a whole nother barrier to try to spy on us.
00:21:52.000 When we see with the new announcements out of DC, if you've spoken at a school board meeting lately, you better get a VPN.
00:21:58.000 Secure your online activity by visiting expressvpn.com/slash Charlie today.
00:22:03.000 That's expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:22:07.000 It's extremely important to anonymize your online activity.
00:22:11.000 Expressvpn.com/slash Charlie.
00:22:17.000 With us right now is a good friend of mine and one of the smartest Americans and someone who really gets it, Matt Peterson from the Claremont Institute and the American Mind.
00:22:28.000 It's a great website.
00:22:30.000 Matt, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:22:32.000 Oh, thank you.
00:22:33.000 Thank you so much for having me on.
00:22:34.000 There's a lot I want to cover with you and also new founding as well.
00:22:38.000 I want to talk about.
00:22:40.000 So let's start with you have a new pack that got some coverage to try to engage in corporate warfare.
00:22:46.000 I have to ask you about this and you have a chance to actually talk about it positively, unlike that, what, that Vice article?
00:22:52.000 It was a joke.
00:22:53.000 That means that you're doing a good job.
00:22:54.000 Tell us about what you're doing.
00:22:55.000 Oh, yeah.
00:22:56.000 Well, they're attacking us because they sense, they can smell that we're actually going to fight to win and attack people.
00:23:03.000 We're going to be the voice of the people.
00:23:05.000 This is AmericanFirebrand.com.
00:23:07.000 The name of the PAC is Firebrand.
00:23:09.000 We fight to win.
00:23:10.000 And, you know, myself and others were just sick and tired of, you know, just lame digital media on the part of the right, politicians not saying what they should.
00:23:21.000 And we thought the way to accelerate change would be to start rewarding the people who are actually saying, you know, what should be said and attacking even people on the right who are really holding us back.
00:23:32.000 And, you know, we think this is a political war without generals.
00:23:37.000 There are no Republican leaders and the people deserve better.
00:23:41.000 And so AmericanFirebrand.com is actually, I can say to you, you'll know this before everyone else.
00:23:48.000 We're going to be releasing a video series called The War.
00:23:51.000 The trailer will come out Thanksgiving and next week.
00:23:55.000 And it's a very exciting message and very exciting content.
00:23:58.000 And the intent is we are going to band together and we're going to push both the Republican Party and the left back and we're going to fight to win.
00:24:08.000 Well, I can't wait to see it.
00:24:09.000 You're going to do a great job with that.
00:24:10.000 And one of the cultural issues that you've been focused on at Claremont and Lincoln Fellowship has been the preservation of our history.
00:24:19.000 So I want to ask you about this story, the removal of Thomas Jefferson from the New York City Hall.
00:24:26.000 You actually teach in college.
00:24:29.000 You used to, and you know a fair amount a lot about American history.
00:24:32.000 First, tell us why Thomas Jefferson is worthy of our admiration and then also why this is so destructive to today to remove our founding icons and the people who actually made this country possible.
00:24:44.000 Well, as a wise man once told me, if you can build a country that lasts more than five minutes, you're a genius.
00:24:50.000 And the founders of this country were able to build something that lasted far beyond them and that provided so much good for so many other people.
00:24:58.000 You know, Aristotle says anyone who is a founder who can create a government that lasts beyond themselves and provides peace and happiness to millions of people.
00:25:08.000 They're all flawed, by the way, but anyone who can create a government that's successful engages in a godlike act.
00:25:15.000 I mean, it really is godlike.
00:25:17.000 It's a noble and great thing to be a founder and to create something that lasts you and provides goods for millions of people over time.
00:25:25.000 And so Jefferson is one of the preeminent founders.
00:25:28.000 And when you look at his achievements, he was the man who was able to encapsulate the ideas of his era, his era in the Declaration of Independence.
00:25:39.000 The American mind, I mean, the publication that we founded at Claremont is based on this phrase.
00:25:47.000 He was able to encapsulate the American mind at the time.
00:25:51.000 And so, you know, that's a tremendous achievement.
00:25:53.000 The Declaration of Independence has been influential throughout the world and changed the world in so many ways.
00:26:00.000 And this is a man who also, of course, he helped every step of the way with the founding.
00:26:04.000 He also created the University of Virginia.
00:26:07.000 And, you know, someone whose achievements were renowned throughout the world.
00:26:12.000 And we're going to tear down his statue on account of his sins.
00:26:16.000 Do we just realize that now?
00:26:17.000 No, people always realized that the people in these statues weren't perfect.
00:26:22.000 But we recognize their actual achievements, which are real.
00:26:25.000 And those achievements are what is being undermined when we literally tear down a statue.
00:26:30.000 We're saying this country needs to be torn down in some way on account of its flaws.
00:26:36.000 And that's a really dangerous place for a country to be.
00:26:39.000 Well, and it's also just when I encounter the activists that hate Thomas Jefferson, they know so little about him.
00:26:44.000 They don't know that in the first draft of the Declaration, he admonished King George for bringing slaves to America.
00:26:50.000 They don't know that he actually advocated for the abolition of slavery in the 1790s.
00:26:55.000 They don't know his quote that he said, being engaged in slavery means you become a master of tyranny.
00:27:02.000 He actually hated the practice and he struggled with it.
00:27:05.000 They don't know that he abolished the importation of new slaves in 1803, which was the first window that actually allowed it when the first Axis president in March of 1803.
00:27:14.000 But let's go a level deeper, Matt, because some of our audience right now, we're living through this cultural blitzkrieg.
00:27:20.000 It's this nonstop campaign.
00:27:21.000 James O'Keefe's doors get kicked in, right?
00:27:24.000 Bannon gets indicted, all the deplatforming happening every day on social media, Kyle Rittenhouse.
00:27:31.000 Where does this fit into the regime's aims and objectives?
00:27:34.000 Why are they doing this?
00:27:36.000 A lot of our audience struggles with that question.
00:27:41.000 Well, you have to tell everyone and force everyone to believe and actually say that America should not just be deconstructed, but destroyed or literally deconstructed.
00:27:53.000 And by tearing down those statues, you're saying it's a public statement that says this country was founded on evil.
00:28:01.000 And if they can get you to believe that, and if they can get you to say that, then they can get you to go along with whatever their plans are to completely demolish it.
00:28:09.000 And so this is, you know, you could say, well, it's just a statue, just like they say, oh, it's just property being burned in these riots.
00:28:16.000 But when you're physically removing the memory of greatness in the country's past, you only do that because you think the evil outweighs the good.
00:28:26.000 And so it's really simple.
00:28:28.000 I mean, they think America is intrinsically evil, and therefore they should be allowed to redo the entire regime and take complete control over it.
00:28:37.000 And anyone who defends America is therefore also bad and deserves their door kicked down.
00:28:43.000 And this is such an important point, Matt.
00:28:45.000 And I've told my team this: which is, I'm less interested in the political kind of palace intrigue than ever before.
00:28:51.000 I don't really care who gives a House floor speech anymore.
00:28:53.000 We'd cover a little bit of that.
00:28:55.000 I'm really interested, though, as to why we are so ill-prepared to make the defense of the actual nation we're trying to conserve, right?
00:29:03.000 And that's why the week we spent together with the Lincoln Fellowship was so helpful, which was this beautiful philosophical journey of from John Locke to the Federalist Papers to Edmund Burke, of what are we actually trying to do here?
00:29:16.000 Talk a little bit about that because I think the Thomas Jefferson statue removal, this is the whole ballgame.
00:29:22.000 If they can get you to hate what happened before, then who's to say they can't pass Green New Deal or take your weapons away or to vaccinate your children against the will?
00:29:31.000 They're actually, this is all very much related.
00:29:33.000 They know what they're doing.
00:29:36.000 Yeah, because when you, because most people, you know, just don't think about politics.
00:29:40.000 I mean, politics is here and there in the palace intrigue.
00:29:42.000 And I agree, like that stuff is tiresome to watch in any time and place, frankly.
00:29:49.000 But what's important is the actual structure of the government, right?
00:29:53.000 I mean, the actual constitution, whether it's written or not, what actually constitutes or orders and organizes the government-that's really important because that affects everybody who the government has power over.
00:30:04.000 And so, what by removing the statue, they're saying that actual order, that system, right, systemic, it's systemically wrong.
00:30:12.000 So, therefore, we can destroy every part of it.
00:30:15.000 So, the Constitution ultimately becomes a tool of white supremacy as well, which means, guess what?
00:30:21.000 Powerful, they need power in order to reconstitute the Constitution, in order to reconstitute the dream, in order to make the kind of scene that they want to make, which is terrifying for a lot of the woke types.
00:30:36.000 It's a kind of racialized hierarchy or a hierarchy of identities where some people are more citizens and some citizens are less because of the color of their skin or their sexual preference.
00:30:46.000 And The basic point is, if they can destroy that statue, they have power over what America is, was, and should be.
00:30:56.000 And some conservatives feel as if it's not a big deal.
00:31:00.000 I hear some people that say, it's just the thing of bronze.
00:31:04.000 I mean, what's the big deal, right?
00:31:06.000 It's not like that's invalidating our country, but they know so little about how actually the American mind or the human mind is wired.
00:31:14.000 If you don't have things to anchor you of what came before, then what are we conserving exactly?
00:31:19.000 Who's to say that we won't have a new complete moral framework that gets implemented?
00:31:24.000 And that is part of the goal, right?
00:31:26.000 Which is the Edmund Burke three-tied knot of what came before, what happens now, what's going to happen.
00:31:31.000 If you remove the memory of anything that happened prior, they know exactly what they're doing there.
00:31:36.000 I want to ask you, do you have a thought on that, Matt?
00:31:38.000 If not, I have one other topic I want to cover.
00:31:40.000 No, I just think this erasure of memory and the memory of greatness is terrible.
00:31:45.000 And so many aspects in our culture are pushing it.
00:31:47.000 And you're exactly right.
00:31:48.000 So we have two minutes remaining.
00:31:50.000 I want you to talk a little bit about what I actually asked you to come on, which is the fragility of this regime.
00:31:55.000 They seem desperate.
00:31:56.000 They don't seem organized.
00:31:58.000 They don't seem precise.
00:31:59.000 Am I reading that correctly?
00:32:01.000 They almost seem like a frenetic group of people that are running out of time.
00:32:06.000 Is that the right analysis?
00:32:10.000 Yes, with an addendum.
00:32:11.000 I mean, I think you're right.
00:32:13.000 What you see is a kind of frenetic activity and desperation.
00:32:18.000 They're holding on, right?
00:32:19.000 They're white-knuckling all the gauges and the steering wheel and they're pressing the pedal all the way to the gas, right?
00:32:26.000 I mean, they're turning all the cultural energy, all the control they have over the most powerful institutions in America.
00:32:33.000 They're just pushing it all to 11.
00:32:36.000 And they've been doing that for a while now.
00:32:38.000 And what happens when you push the engine all the way up to 11, full stop, and you keep driving that train, right, like they are, is eventually you start to break things.
00:32:47.000 Things break down.
00:32:48.000 And that does seem to be intentional in some way now.
00:32:51.000 But I think what's happening is that because of new technology and the kind of digital disruption and its ripple effects, because of Trump's election and everything that came after, they do know that a large portion of obviously the populace disagrees with them.
00:33:07.000 They do feel as if they're losing their grasp on power.
00:33:11.000 And so you get this kind of activity.
00:33:13.000 Now, if you look at it, I mean, take two figures, right, that are on the same side.
00:33:18.000 I mean, Nancy Pelosi is a little different in the way she's holding on to power, although apparently she's going to retire to Florida, right?
00:33:24.000 She's holding on in her 80s.
00:33:26.000 It's just disgusting and unhealthy, right?
00:33:28.000 These people just holding on to the very end.
00:33:30.000 And then they make a deal with kind of the more the woekesters or the people who are very radical, communist, they want to destroy everything.
00:33:39.000 And those people, of course, they're always pushing to 11.
00:33:42.000 And so there is a sense in which the old way of maintaining power for the people with the old media, right?
00:33:50.000 The old newspapers, the TV, and all the rest, the old banks rather than crypto, right?
00:33:55.000 They're all holding on to power and they feel it slipping away.
00:33:58.000 So I think that's right with the addendum that, I mean, they still do control the commanding heights of the most powerful institutions.
00:34:05.000 But they seem increasingly nervous and they're not really sure of the way to navigate it.
00:34:09.000 Matt, thank you so much for joining us.
00:34:11.000 New founding, American Mind, Claremont Institute, all of it.

00:35:16.000 What is Jeff Bezos doing?
00:35:18.000 Announced yesterday, Jeff Bezos is donating $100 million to the Obama Foundation in honor of Congressman John Lewis, a hero of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, what CNN calls him.
00:35:31.000 As part of the gift, Bezos has asked that the Obama Presidential Center be named the John Lewis Plaza, the foundation said.
00:35:40.000 He said that freedom fighters deserve a special place in the pantheon of heroes.
00:35:45.000 And I can't think of a more fitting person to honor with this gift than John Lewis.
00:35:51.000 So, Jeff Bezos is actually not a very generous person.
00:35:58.000 If you look at Jeff Bezos' charity, it's very low.
00:36:02.000 He does not give a lot of money to charity.
00:36:07.000 Now, he has this new thing called the Bezos Earth Fund, where he gave $10 billion.
00:36:11.000 That doesn't count.
00:36:13.000 But if you actually go deeper into his charity, he doesn't really participate as generously as some of his counterparts.
00:36:25.000 So, what is Jeff Bezos doing here?
00:36:28.000 Well, remember, the Clinton Foundation was able to raise a lot of money under the prospect, under the possibility of Hillary Clinton becoming president of the United States and Bill Clinton getting back into the White House.
00:36:43.000 The Clintons were able to raise tens of millions of dollars when it seemed likely that they were going to be controlling the federal government of the United States.
00:36:53.000 Now, remember, last week we tried to navigate the shade war between somebody who was launching a PR campaign against Kamala Harris.
00:37:04.000 And we conjectured and we concluded that the Obamas were likely behind the attack on Kamala Harris, trying to pave the way so that Michelle Obama can become the first female black president.
00:37:25.000 Kamala Harris is all that stands in the way of that.
00:37:28.000 And remember, Kamala Harris comes from a different political tribe in the Democrat Party.
00:37:37.000 Kamala Harris comes from the San Francisco cartel, where the Obamas come from the Chicago coalition.
00:37:44.000 Axelrod, Jarrett, David Plough.
00:37:48.000 They are all from that group.
00:37:50.000 So, what is Jeff Bezos doing here?
00:37:52.000 Very easy to understand.
00:37:55.000 Jeff Bezos is making a down payment on the goodwill that Michelle Obama is going to be president after Joe Biden.
00:38:05.000 Jeff Bezos knows something.
00:38:07.000 He's the world's richest man, and he does not part with $100 million because he's so inspired by John Lewis.
00:38:13.000 Give me a break.
00:38:14.000 Jeff Bezos knows that Michelle Obama is going to run for president after Joe Biden.
00:38:21.000 He's trying to angle himself within the Obama regime, who, by the way, has a lot of influence over this current administration.
00:38:29.000 But Bezos is doing something simply and truly Machiavellian.
00:38:33.000 He wants to be able to make his rocket ship go to Saturn or whatever.
00:38:38.000 And Jeff Bezos is doing something that is pure politics.
00:38:42.000 Consider this a down payment, Mr. Obama, he probably said with a wink and a nod as their mansions neighbor each other in DC.
00:38:48.000 Because when your wife's running the country, I want my favors fulfilled.
00:38:53.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
