00:01:24.000 Joining us for the full hour is my dear friend and very smart man, historian Bill Federer.
00:01:31.000 Bill, how are we doing today?
00:01:33.000 Hey, Charlie, great to be with you.
00:01:35.000 Bill, lots to discuss.
00:01:37.000 I really want to discuss here, most importantly, why Christians should care about politics and what does the Bible say about government.
00:01:46.000 This is an infinitely rich topic.
00:01:49.000 So let me tell you, let's just talk about this election, Bill.
00:01:52.000 Does the Bible say that Christians should A, vote, and care about their government?
00:01:58.000 Definitely. Definitely.
00:02:00.000 I just finished a new book.
00:02:01.000 It's called Silence Equals Consent, The Sin of Omission.
00:02:04.000 And I go through an overview of world history, and the most common form of government is gangs.
00:02:10.000 Get rid of all the police, you'll have gangs.
00:02:12.000 And a gang leader with enough weapons we call a king.
00:02:15.000 And as the weapons improve, these kingdoms get bigger.
00:02:20.000 So instead of cane killing Abel with a rock, they can kill with a bronze weapon, iron weapon, phalanx spear that the Greeks had, scimitar sword that the Muslims had, composite bow that the Mongols had, gunpowder that the Chinese invented.
00:02:30.000 Weapon keeps improving, kingdoms keep getting bigger.
00:02:33.000 Anybody that can plot on a graph sees that at some point it's gonna max out on a global level.
00:02:38.000 And Jesus said, wheat and tears grow together till the harvest.
00:02:40.000 But around the time of the country's founding, the king of England had the biggest empire the planet had seen.
00:02:46.000 The king of England was a globalist.
00:02:48.000 He was a one-world government guy with him at the top.
00:02:51.000 America's founders decided they didn't like one-world government guys telling us what to do, so they broke away and flipped it and made the people the king.
00:02:58.000 The word citizen is Greek.
00:03:00.000 It means co-king, co-ruler, co-sovereign.
00:03:03.000 And so the idea is, what's the anomaly?
00:03:08.000 What's the opposite of a king?
00:03:10.000 Well, you have Roman Republic for a while until Julius Caesar Caesar made himself dictator for life.
00:03:16.000 You had an Athenian democracy for a while until Alexander the Great's dad, Philip of Macedon, paid citizens of Athens to betray their own city.
00:03:24.000 But ultimately, it was way back around 1400 BC, ancient Israel.
00:03:29.000 They come out of Egypt and for 400 years, no king.
00:03:33.000 It's a total anomaly in world history, counter every piece of human nature, selfish human nature.
00:03:39.000 You have millions of people...
00:03:41.000 Was there an example prior to that, sorry to interrupt Bill, of ever people living without a king?
00:03:46.000 If there were, it was on a very small scale.
00:03:49.000 Nothing where you had an entire nation.
00:03:52.000 And so here you have Israel.
00:03:54.000 They come out of Egypt, again, around 1400 BC to 1000 BC. And the system works because every citizen is taught the law and they're personally accountable to God to follow the law.
00:04:06.000 So you have an opportunity to steal.
00:04:07.000 Nobody's around. And then you think, God's watching me.
00:04:10.000 He wants me to be fair.
00:04:12.000 He's going to hold me accountable in the future.
00:04:14.000 Maybe I should hesitate stealing.
00:04:16.000 And it creates a tiny thing in your head called a conscience.
00:04:20.000 If everybody in the country believes this, you can maintain order with no king.
00:04:25.000 So king is the norm.
00:04:26.000 It's a revolving door. You have a good king and his sons are bad, and then you gotta work to get rid of them.
00:04:34.000 You put in another good king and his sons are bad.
00:04:36.000 I mean, here's David, the best king ever.
00:04:38.000 His oldest son, Amnon, rapes a daughter, Tamar, is murdered by the son, Absalom, who tries to overthrow David.
00:04:46.000 Another son, Adonijah, tries to overthrow David.
00:04:49.000 Solomon's good for a while.
00:04:50.000 Until he marries a thousand wives and builds pagan temples.
00:04:53.000 This is the best king ever.
00:04:55.000 David, his own sons go off track.
00:04:57.000 So the dilemma is, how do you get rid of the bad king and maintain order without it snapping back with another king?
00:05:05.000 And it's called the covenant form of government.
00:05:07.000 And that's what they had in ancient Israel, that first 400 years out of Egypt.
00:05:11.000 That's what the pilgrims and Puritans looked to as the model.
00:05:15.000 And so they set up a covenant form of government in New England, where you had people and no king.
00:05:21.000 And why is this important?
00:05:24.000 Because Romans 13, which every Bible scholar is familiar, that's the verse that says, let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there's no authority except that which God has established.
00:05:36.000 The authorities that exist have been established by God.
00:05:38.000 And Romans 13 is understood differently in a monarchy versus a republic.
00:05:44.000 In a monarchy, subjects submit to the king.
00:05:47.000 In a republic, the citizens are the king, right?
00:05:51.000 The word citizen, right?
00:05:53.000 It goes all the way back to the idea that you had people ruling themselves without a king.
00:05:58.000 And so subjects obey and citizens give consent.
00:06:05.000 And so the people that say, well, you just got to obey the government, they need to pick up and go and live in China and just surrender their conscience to Xi Jinping.
00:06:14.000 But in America, our founders set it up where we, the people, are in charge, and we got this idea from ancient Israel that first 400 years out of Egypt before King Saul, the Hebrew Republic.
00:06:26.000 And that's why they taught Hebrew at Yale and Harvard.
00:06:28.000 It's a fascinating study, but when people don't know history, they just study the scriptures, they're like, well, we gotta figure out, are we supposed to submit?
00:06:38.000 Well, the founders of America looked at this pre-King Saul period, where you had millions of people, everybody taught the law, and personally accountable to God to follow it.
00:06:47.000 And so they taught Hebrew at Yale and Harvard.
00:06:49.000 To this day, Yale has Hebrew characters on its coat of arms, truth and light.
00:06:54.000 So one of the things I talk about in my new book, it's called Silence Equals Consent, The Sin of Omission, is in New England, you had churches founding cities.
00:07:05.000 You had the first Baptist Church in America founded the city of Providence, Rhode Island.
00:07:10.000 And the first Congregationalist Church in America founded a city, Hartford, Connecticut.
00:07:16.000 And then you had Catholics founding Maryland.
00:07:20.000 And you had Quakers founding Pennsylvania.
00:07:23.000 And Dutch Reform founding New York.
00:07:26.000 And so this was the experience.
00:07:28.000 Everybody's involved in church.
00:07:30.000 And everybody's involved in city government because it's the church founding the city.
00:07:35.000 There's no non-church members that were tagging along to be lazy and let them run everything.
00:07:42.000 Everybody's involved in church. Everybody's involved in the city government.
00:07:45.000 They actually would have one building in every New England town called the Meeting House.
00:07:51.000 You go to Boston, you can visit the Old South Meeting House, right?
00:07:55.000 And this is where the pastor would teach the Bible, and this is where they would do their city business.
00:07:59.000 The word synagogue means meeting house.
00:08:02.000 That's where the rabbi would teach the law, and that's where they would do their city business.
00:08:06.000 I mean, why build a separate building just to talk about a different topic?
00:08:10.000 And so this concept is what formed America.
00:08:14.000 There's a great quote from Oz Guinness.
00:08:16.000 And he said, covenantal ideas in England were the lost cause, but they became the winning cause in New England.
00:08:24.000 Covenant shaped constitutionalism.
00:08:27.000 The American constitution is a nationalized, secularized form of covenant.
00:08:33.000 And he goes on to say covenant lies behind constitution.
00:08:37.000 And the word federal is Latin for covenant.
00:08:40.000 We have a covenant form of government in America where we the people rule ourselves bottom up, not some king or president or tyrant rule and top down through mandates.
00:08:51.000 And they got their idea.
00:08:52.000 There's even a plaque in Hartford, Connecticut.
00:08:56.000 And the plaque says, Thomas Hooker's congregation established the form of government upon which the present Constitution of the United States is modeled.
00:09:05.000 It's like, what? Yeah, here you have our Constitution based on New England church covenant governments, based on the Bible, what part of the Bible that first 400 years out of Egypt before it came to all.
00:09:17.000 The Hebrew Republic. And so that's the original plan that God gave to his people.
00:09:23.000 It was only after they sinned that they asked for a king.
00:09:28.000 And it's an interesting little chapter.
00:09:31.000 The Levite priests had gone woke.
00:09:35.000 They weren't teaching the law anymore.
00:09:37.000 You're like, what? Yeah, there's Eli, the high priest, his own sons are doing sexual immorality.
00:09:43.000 They're sleeping with women in the very tent where the Ark of the Covenant is.
00:09:46.000 And then you have another Levite with a graven image in the house of a guy named Micah.
00:09:51.000 You read the story in the book of Judges and the tribe of Dan comes along and steals the graven image and tells this Levite to come along.
00:09:58.000 And you're scratching your head like, what's this Levite doing with the graven image?
00:10:02.000 Isn't that one of the commandments? You're not supposed to have them.
00:10:05.000 And then there's the terrible story of a Levite with a concubine.
00:10:09.000 The law says the Levites to marry a virgin of his own tribe.
00:10:12.000 Here he goes with the woman he's not even married to, and they're traveling, and the house gets surrounded by sodomites.
00:10:19.000 Something about that behavior that appears at the last stages of a people ruling themselves, this casting off of self-restraint.
00:10:26.000 Poor concubines rape to death, and by the time you're grossed out, you read the line, every man did that which was right in their own eyes.
00:10:33.000 Why? Because the pretty stopped teaching what was right in the Lord's eyes.
00:10:38.000 What happens when the power's out, your phone says no service, and the grid is down?
00:10:42.000 Do you have a backup plan?
00:10:44.000 If you don't have a satellite phone from Sat123.com, you're risking more than just missed calls.

00:11:20.000 Protect yourself, protect your family, and stay connected with Sat123.com.
00:11:26.000 Yeah, so you had an interesting story that the children of Israel rejected.
00:11:34.000 The Levites all went woke and they weren't teaching that there was sin and you can tolerate any type of immoral behavior.
00:11:40.000 And what happens? It turns into chaos and lawlessness.
00:11:43.000 And they all go to Samuel the prophet and they say the self-government system is not working anymore.
00:11:47.000 We want to be like the other countries.
00:11:48.000 We want a king.
00:11:50.000 And Samuel cries, and the Lord tells him, they did not reject you, they rejected me.
00:11:55.000 So God's original plan for his people was to not have a king, have everybody be taught the law, and personally accountable to God to follow it.
00:12:02.000 And so there's the story of King Saul pouting that his son Jonathan became friends with David.
00:12:08.000 And he turns to his soldiers and he says, none of your soldiers care about me.
00:12:13.000 And one soldier said, I care.
00:12:16.000 I saw David go to this town and the priest there gave him some bread and the sword of Goliath that was stored there.
00:12:22.000 And Saul says, bring the priest to me.
00:12:24.000 Well, they show up.
00:12:25.000 Saul turns to his soldiers and he says, kill them.
00:12:29.000 And the soldiers hesitate.
00:12:31.000 And Doeg the Edomite goes out there and kills all the priests.
00:12:34.000 What just happened? The soldiers were still operating under the old system where each person is accountable to God to follow the law.
00:12:40.000 And the law says you need two or more witnesses before you condemn somebody to death.
00:12:44.000 There's only one witness, Doeg.
00:12:45.000 So the soldiers still have a conscience.
00:12:47.000 Okay, king, you're telling me to kill.
00:12:48.000 I'm accountable to God. There's only one witness, supposed to be two.
00:12:51.000 And they fear God.
00:12:52.000 Well, Doeg the Edomite says, king, I'm I'm gonna fear the government, your government more than God.
00:12:57.000 You tell me to kill, I'll kill.
00:12:58.000 Tell me to kill the baby in the womb, I'll kill it.
00:13:01.000 Tell me there's no more male or female.
00:13:02.000 Tell me kids can be furries.
00:13:04.000 I'm just a bunch of mush.
00:13:05.000 You blow the trumpet, I'll bother your statue.
00:13:07.000 So when you transition to a king, the king demands your conscience.
00:13:13.000 And so America's founders didn't like that.
00:13:16.000 They wanted to look to the pre-king.
00:13:17.000 So King Saul is the divider between England and America.
00:13:20.000 Both of them are looking to the Bible.
00:13:23.000 But the kings of Europe looked to the King Saul and on.
00:13:26.000 Divine right of kings, God chose me.
00:13:28.000 I'm the royal gang leader.
00:13:30.000 And the founders of America looked to the pre-King Saul part of the Bible.
00:13:35.000 And so the kings of Europe, they wanted a theocracy.
00:13:38.000 You believe the way their government tells you to believe, or you're put in a January 6th jail, you're canceled, and you're burnt at the stake.
00:13:45.000 Our founders didn't want dominionism in that sense.
00:13:48.000 They wanted freedomism. They wanted liberty.
00:13:51.000 And it goes back to the concept that God loves you.
00:13:53.000 He wants you to love him back, but for love to be loved, it must be voluntary.
00:13:56.000 It's not compulsed, right?
00:13:59.000 And so founders in America, they wanted the freedomism.
00:14:02.000 And so that's why it's sort of a straw man when they say, got to watch out for those Christians.
00:14:06.000 If they get in power, they're going to force their views on you.
00:14:09.000 It's like, how can you force freedom on people?
00:14:10.000 I'm going to force you to have freedom of religion and freedom of speech and freedom of press and freedom of conscience and freedom to defend yourself and freedom to have a jury by a trial of your peers and freedom from cruel and unusual punishment.
00:14:24.000 That's sort of a good thing, right?
00:14:26.000 Freedom. But they confuse What Christianity was in Europe under kings versus in America, which was the pre-King Saul part of the Bible, where you had millions of people, everybody taught the law and accountable to God to follow it.
00:14:41.000 So it's a fascinating study.
00:14:44.000 And this covenant form of government that these New Englanders had was revolutionary and it eventually turned into our constitution.
00:14:55.000 But after a century, it got a little dry.
00:14:59.000 And got taught academically at Yale and Harvard.
00:15:02.000 God has a plan for your life, marriage, family, church, government.
00:15:04.000 Find out what the plan is, put it into place.
00:15:06.000 Some even took it the next step and said, God in his infinite wisdom already knows who's going to wind up in heaven.
00:15:13.000 So don't even bother preaching the gospel.
00:15:16.000 Whoever's supposed to get saved, they'll get saved.
00:15:19.000 And they became less evangelistic.
00:15:21.000 And so the Puritans got nicknamed Old Lights.
00:15:25.000 And David Brainerd got expelled from Yale because he said his professor was as spiritual as a chair.
00:15:32.000 And the Yale students got in trouble.
00:15:34.000 They were reprimanded. Why?
00:15:35.000 Because they went into the town of New Haven and smashed windows?
00:15:38.000 No. They were caught preaching the gospel to strangers on the street.
00:15:42.000 And that was considered disrespectful.
00:15:44.000 They weren't wearing a black robe.
00:15:45.000 They weren't licensed to preach yet.
00:15:47.000 And so in the 1700s, you had the New Lights.
00:15:50.000 And these were revivalists who said, being a Christian is more than a plan, even if it's a good plan, a covenant plan.
00:15:57.000 You have to have an experience with Jesus.
00:15:59.000 When you do, your life will change.
00:16:00.000 You won't do worldly things anymore, like bars and brothels and government.
00:16:04.000 It's like, wait, what was that last thing?
00:16:06.000 Yeah, government, it's worldly. If you're really Christian, you're not going to be involved.
00:16:10.000 Well, that's sort of different than an entire century of the 1600s where everybody's involved in church and everybody's involved in the city government because it's the church founding the city.
00:16:18.000 There's like no non-church members to let them be in charge.
00:16:22.000 And they're like, yeah, but we're not going to do that in the 1700s.
00:16:25.000 If you're really, really a Christian, you're going to withdraw from the worldly government and just be involved in church stuff.
00:16:33.000 And they got their idea from Germany.
00:16:35.000 Martin Luther starts the Reformation because he had a personal experience with Jesus.
00:16:39.000 But some German princes want a break from Rome.
00:16:42.000 And they say, this is the chance I've been waiting for.
00:16:45.000 Kingdom of mine, I just decided you're all Lutherans.
00:16:48.000 And the people are like, okay, okay, we're Lutheran.
00:16:51.000 What do we believe? Bill also mentioned, why is it then that so many Christians that are pastors in America, pastors of churches, are hesitant to speak out?
00:17:00.000 Why is that, Bill? Well, some of them have bought into this theology.
00:17:04.000 It's called the two kingdom concept.
00:17:06.000 The kingdom of the government, the kingdom of the church, the two don't touch.
00:17:10.000 And if you're really, really spiritual, you'll withdraw from government and just be involved in church stuff.
00:17:16.000 Well, it brings up an interesting situation, because if all the spiritual people withdraw from government, who's left to be involved but the less spiritual?
00:17:24.000 And because they're less spiritual, they're going to yield to their ambitions, become power hungry, and be tyrants.
00:17:30.000 And it's almost a self-fulfilling prophecy.
00:17:34.000 Don't get involved in government because it's worldly.
00:17:36.000 Well, why is it worldly?
00:17:37.000 Because we're not involved in government.
00:17:39.000 And all the spiritual people have withdrawn themselves.
00:17:42.000 And so this two-kingdom concept for four centuries was taught in Germany, and it allowed Hitler to put Jews on train cars.
00:17:51.000 And they're going right past the church, crying out for help.
00:17:53.000 And the church's response was, well, that's the government that's killing the Jews.
00:17:57.000 And we're the church, and we can't get involved in government stuff because we're holy.
00:18:01.000 So let's just sing praise songs louder.
00:18:03.000 It's like, can somebody see there's something wrong with that picture?
00:18:07.000 So where the Puritans said you can do two things.
00:18:10.000 You can be involved in church and you can be involved in city government.
00:18:16.000 People can do two things.
00:18:18.000 You can be a spouse and you can be a parent.
00:18:21.000 Two completely different roles.
00:18:22.000 One person can do both. But the Pietists are like, no, you can only do one thing.
00:18:25.000 And if you're really spiritual, you will withdraw from government and just be involved in church stuff.
00:18:31.000 And there were even German princes that donated money to the pietists so they would teach their people not to get involved in the government.
00:18:39.000 It's sort of like globalists giving money to woke seminaries so Christians will teach themselves not to get involved in politics while at the same time those globalists are giving money to their LGBTQ Gaza activists to get them involved in politics.
00:18:52.000 What a great strategy.
00:18:54.000 Give money to silence your opposition and motivate your supporters.
00:18:57.000 And so one of the little stories that people are often overlooked is these Moravians, these Lutheran Pietists, did influence the Wesleys, who did influence George Whitefield, who preached the Great Awakening Revival.
00:19:13.000 And his message was, it's more than doctrine.
00:19:15.000 You have to have an experience with Jesus.
00:19:17.000 And when you do, your life will change and you won't be involved in worldly things.
00:19:20.000 And to some, it was so personal, it was only personal.
00:19:24.000 And they would withdraw.
00:19:25.000 And the founder of the Lutheran Church in America was Henry Muhlenberg.
00:19:29.000 He's a pietist, don't get involved in government guy.
00:19:32.000 He has two sons, John Peter Muhlenberg, Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg, and they're don't get involved in government pastors.
00:19:38.000 And the revolution starts.
00:19:40.000 And Patrick Henry gives his Give Me Liberty, Give Me Death speech, who's there but the pastor, John Peter Muhlenberg.
00:19:47.000 So he goes to George Washington and says, I want to help.
00:19:50.000 Washington says, I'm going to make you a colonel, go get your men.
00:19:53.000 And he goes to church and preaches out of Ecclesiastes, time for all things, time to gather stones, time to scatter, time to preach and a time to fight.
00:20:00.000 And he takes off his clerical robe and has a uniform, has an altar call, 300 men of his church and surrounding churches, kiss their wives goodbye right off to become the 8th Virginia Regiment.
00:20:09.000 He's promoted to general and he's elected to Congress and his statue is in the U.S. Capitol Statuary Hall, taking off his clerical robe with the uniform.
00:20:17.000 Well, his brother Frederick is writing him letters saying, you have become too involved in matters which as a preacher, you have nothing whatsoever to do.
00:20:28.000 And John Peter writes to Frederick saying that he's a Tory British sympathizer.
00:20:33.000 And Frederick writes back and says he cannot serve two masters, right?
00:20:36.000 Two kingdom concept from Germany, kingdom of the government, the kingdom of the church, the two don't touch.
00:20:41.000 And then the British invade New York and burn Frederick's church.
00:20:46.000 And he decides he needs to get involved.
00:20:48.000 He's elected to Congress and he's elected the first speaker of the House.
00:20:51.000 The first speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives is a pastor, Lutheran pastor, Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg, who went from pietist, don't get involved in government, to getting involved.
00:21:04.000 And what did he pass in the first session of Congress with his brother there?
00:21:07.000 The First Amendment. Does anybody honestly think that these two pastors would vote to outlaw themselves?
00:21:13.000 Pastors aren't supposed to be involved in politics, even though we are, and we're in Congress, and we're passing the First Amendment.
00:21:17.000 No, the First Amendment, as well as the first 10 amendments, were handcuffs on the federal government to keep it from becoming a Frankenstein, King George III monster, ruling through mandates, canceling people unless they surrender their conscience to the king, putting them in J6 prisons and burning them at the stake unless they agree to all the government latest doctrine, right? And so the idea that we need to look at is why can't we have both?
00:21:43.000 Why can't we have a covenant plan where we the people rule ourselves and have a personal experience, right, with the Lord?
00:21:51.000 I mean, it is personal, but don't we want to leave a nation to our children where they have a chance to have a personal experience with the Lord?
00:21:58.000 Because if you don't get involved, What they are teaching the children is that God does not exist.
00:22:05.000 Would God want the children to be taught he didn't exist?
00:22:08.000 And if they think he exists, they come to the conclusion he's messed up.
00:22:12.000 He's put in men and women's bodies and you have to have operations to fix it.
00:22:15.000 What a messed up God. He's either confused up there, powerless, or worse, sadistic.
00:22:21.000 And if that behavior is not sin, what behavior?
00:22:23.000 Well, sex outside of marriage.
00:22:25.000 You know the little library books they show the kids?
00:22:27.000 Try this kind of sex. Try that kind of sex.
00:22:28.000 If sex outside of marriage is not a sin, arguably there are no sins.
00:22:32.000 And if there's no sins, you don't need a savior to save you from your sins.
00:22:37.000 So they're undermining the entire gospel.
00:22:39.000 It's quite a clever trick the devil's pulled.
00:22:41.000 To get Christians who believe the gospel of Christ, let their children be taught the gospel of Antichrist, right?
00:22:49.000 No God, no sin, no savior needed.
00:22:51.000 And so I tell people, the most important thing is to bring people to Christ, but the second most important thing is to preserve the freedom to do the most important thing.
00:23:01.000 If you really think the gospel is the answer, you're going to be involved wanting the freedom to preach it.
00:23:06.000 Are you worried about the future of the US economy?

00:24:10.000 So pastors are then wondering, how should I talk about this election?
00:24:15.000 Can you try to bring this, to contemporize this, if you will, Bill?
00:24:20.000 How should a Christian view this election?
00:24:23.000 Yeah, well, that sort of goes back to the title of my book, Silence Equals Consent.
00:24:27.000 The same way the church members are silent at a wedding ceremony and they're given their consent, if the church members are silent when they're killing babies, they're giving their consent to killing babies.
00:24:36.000 And if you give consent, you're an accessory to the crime.
00:24:40.000 And you'll share in the judgment.
00:24:42.000 It's called the Rule of Tacit Admission, T-A-C-I-T. A Black's Law Dictionary.
00:24:48.000 An admission reasonably inferrable from a party's failure to act or speak.
00:24:53.000 It's in criminal law.
00:24:54.000 It's in debt collection law.
00:24:56.000 Somebody owes you money. You wait 10 years to try to start collecting.
00:25:00.000 The judge will say you're past the statute of limitation.
00:25:03.000 You've been silent too long, no money.
00:25:05.000 It's in real estate law.
00:25:07.000 You buy a rent house for some retirement income and a squatter moves in.
00:25:11.000 And if you know about it and you're silent, you don't try to evict them or charge them rent, they can gain title to your rent house through adverse possession just by you being silent.
00:25:21.000 It's in trademark law.
00:25:22.000 You design a trademark, somebody copies it, it's all over the internet.
00:25:26.000 If you do not try to defend your trademark, they all get to use it.
00:25:30.000 It's in our Constitution. Article 1, Section 7.
00:25:50.000 And so if church members are silent and at wedding ceremony they're given consent, if the church members are silent when they're killing babies, they're given consent to killing babies.
00:25:59.000 They actually have a woke tactic and it's to guilt trip Christians into being more Christian than Christ.
00:26:07.000 You say, what? They say, yeah, if you're really Christian, you'll be silent and give your tacit approval to us teaching something to children that Jesus would never teach to children.
00:26:17.000 I mean, would Jesus teach the trans agenda?
00:26:20.000 We know what Jesus taught.
00:26:22.000 Matthew 19, he who made them at the beginning made them male and female.
00:26:26.000 And yet they're telling you, if you're really Christian, you'll be silent and give your approval to us teaching something Jesus would never...
00:26:31.000 So if you're really Christian, you won't act like Christ.
00:26:34.000 I mean, think of it. Here are school counselors who cannot even define woman.
00:26:38.000 Yet they think they can tell that a little boy is supposed to transition to be a little girl.
00:26:42.000 It's totally illogical.
00:26:44.000 And Jesus said, if you allow one of these little ones who believes in me to fall into sin, it will be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone around your neck.
00:26:53.000 So I think it's going to be a rude awakening for all those people that, all those church members that think they're being, oh, we don't want to get involved in politics.
00:26:59.000 We just preach the gospel at our church.
00:27:01.000 We are so spiritual. We don't care about what kind of country we're leaving our kids.
00:27:04.000 I think it's going to be a rude awakening when they realize by their silence they're giving consent to the evil.
00:27:09.000 They're inviting judgment on themselves.
00:27:11.000 So Bill, please continue.
00:27:13.000 There's just numerous instances in the Bible.
00:27:17.000 For example, the Apostle Paul, Acts 22, talking to the Lord.
00:27:21.000 And he says, And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by consenting to his death.
00:27:28.000 Paul did not throw a stone.
00:27:29.000 Paul did not say a word.
00:27:31.000 Yet Paul knew he was guilty for the death of Stephen just by being silent.
00:27:36.000 Because Proverbs 24 says, Don't stand back and let them die.
00:27:43.000 Don't try to disclaim responsibility by saying you didn't know about it.
00:27:51.000 Mordecai tells Esther, There's a mandate from the government to kill the Jews.
00:27:55.000 If you're silent, you'll be killed and God will raise up somebody else to deliver Israel.
00:28:00.000 And then there's Numbers 20.
00:28:03.000 Moses and Aaron are called to the door of the tabernacle.
00:28:07.000 And the Lord spake to Moses, take the rod, gather the assembly, thou and Aaron speak to the rock, water will come out.
00:28:14.000 Well, they gather the assembly and then Moses lifts up his rod and hits the rock twice and water comes out.
00:28:19.000 End of the chapter. Lord spake to Moses, Aaron will not enter the land because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.
00:28:28.000 It's like both. We just read the chapter.
00:28:30.000 Aaron didn't do anything the whole chapter.
00:28:33.000 Like, yeah, that's just it.
00:28:35.000 He was at the door of the tabernacle.
00:28:37.000 He heard God tell Moses, speak to the rock.
00:28:40.000 When Moses lifted up the rod the first time and hit the rock, it probably took Aaron by surprise.
00:28:45.000 When Moses lifted up the rod the second time, Aaron knew what was coming.
00:28:50.000 And he didn't protest.
00:28:51.000 He didn't say, well, Moses, hold it.
00:28:52.000 No, he was silent.
00:28:53.000 And in that instant, Aaron was guilty.
00:28:56.000 Moses's was a sin of commission.
00:28:59.000 Aaron's was a sin of omission.
00:29:03.000 Leviticus 5, a person sins because he did not speak up, even though he was an eyewitness to a case who knew what happened.
00:29:10.000 Anyone who failed to testify is guilty.
00:29:13.000 It's sort of what Martin Luther King Jr.
00:29:15.000 said, right? He who accepts evil without protesting it is really cooperating with it.
00:29:19.000 You know, there's a verse that everyone has memorized.
00:29:22.000 Leviticus 19, 18.
00:29:23.000 Love your neighbor as yourself.
00:29:25.000 The verse immediately before it.
00:29:28.000 Confront your neighbor directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin.
00:29:34.000 Wow, so they're loving each other, loving each other, and they're confronting each other.
00:29:37.000 It's sort of like a parent. You want to love your kid and hug him all the time, but every now and then you have to correct him.
00:29:42.000 Well, there wasn't any king in Israel for 400 years.
00:29:45.000 There wasn't any police.
00:29:47.000 Everybody was taught the law.
00:29:49.000 Everybody helped enforce the law, right?
00:29:53.000 It was a self-pleasing system.
00:29:55.000 And so it's not, oh, just love your kid, love your kid.
00:29:57.000 You love him and you correct him.
00:29:58.000 If you were to leave your kid up to their feelings, they'd eat candy all day long, and their teeth would rot out of their head.
00:30:04.000 Some pastors and Christians say, I can't vote for Trump because he's not nice enough.
00:30:10.000 What would the case be, based on everything you're saying, Bill, to vote and support for President Trump versus Kamala Harris?
00:30:17.000 Well, one is sex trafficking.
00:30:20.000 Jim Caviezel did the movie, Sound of Freedom.
00:30:23.000 And the line in the movie is that children are the new cocaine.
00:30:28.000 If you smuggle cocaine in, you sell it one time.
00:30:30.000 Smuggle a kid in, you can sell them 10 times a day.
00:30:33.000 It's heartbreaking.
00:30:34.000 And it's happening under this administration.
00:30:37.000 And how can church members be silent knowing that's happening?
00:30:41.000 You know, I was in Colorado.
00:30:43.000 And State Representative Scott Bottoms, we were at a meeting together and he talked about visiting with sheriffs who told him that there are wicked people buying children for sex.
00:30:52.000 And so he introduces a bill and it gets voted down.
00:30:56.000 He just wanted minimum punishment.
00:30:58.000 And where's the church?
00:31:00.000 And then in California, earlier this year, Shannon Grove, a state senator, introduced a bill making purchasing a child for sex a felony versus a misdemeanor with as little as two days in jail.
00:31:12.000 And it gets voted down.
00:31:14.000 And so the Democrat state senator, Susan Eggman, gets on the floor and rebukes her own party for voting it down.
00:31:21.000 She said, I'm a social worker.
00:31:23.000 I've worked with women who've been abused as children.
00:31:26.000 They get wounded.
00:31:27.000 They have to deal with it their whole lives.
00:31:29.000 And you're more concerned about this guy that's going to go out and do it again in two days.
00:31:31.000 I've had enough. Where's the church?
00:31:34.000 Well, we don't want to get involved in politics.
00:31:36.000 We're holy. It's like they're selling children and you don't want to get involved?
00:31:42.000 It's beyond comprehension.
00:31:45.000 You know the Salvation Army started with William and Catherine Booth rescuing children out of sex trafficking in London.
00:31:52.000 Wicked people would go to a poor family and say, give us your daughter, we'll give her an education.
00:31:56.000 They get her out of the door and they sell her into a brothel.
00:31:59.000 And when Catherine Booth found out about this, she said, I felt as though I must go and walk the streets and besiege the dens where these hellish iniquities are going on to keep quiet, seem like being a betrayer to humanity.
00:32:13.000 How can church members be silent with the selling of children?
00:32:18.000 There's close to 300,000 missing children, and there's evidence that they're being put into sex trafficking.
00:32:24.000 Even the CEO of Goya, the food company, G-O-Y-A, he talked about how this administration is complicit in the sex trafficking of children.
00:32:36.000 And to have people say, oh, we don't like Trump because of his tweets, it's like...
00:32:41.000 He's better than somebody that does cocaine in the White House.
00:32:44.000 And David Daleiden, I know him.
00:32:47.000 He was the young man that filmed Planned Parenthood people talking about selling body parts.
00:32:53.000 And what happens is Kamala Harris, however her name is pronounced, she didn't go after Planned Parenthood because they contributed to her campaign.
00:33:01.000 She goes after David Daleiden for a decade and the people that were with him.
00:33:07.000 And so the radical pro-abortion, and then you have many states right now,
00:33:15.000 11 states have proposals for amendments to the Constitution to enshrine abortion
00:33:21.000 in their Constitution.
00:33:22.000 I was in Missouri with Josh Hawley and Tony Perkins and Turning Point Faith people there in Springfield, Missouri.
00:33:30.000 And so they have an amendment to put into the Missouri Constitution abortion up to birth.
00:33:37.000 Have this taxpayer pay for it.
00:33:39.000 And there's no liability for the healthcare workers that do it.
00:33:43.000 Doesn't even specify it has to be a doctor.
00:33:45.000 And it covers all reproductive services, which includes transgendered stuff.
00:33:50.000 Paid for by the... And it's enshrined in the Constitution.
00:33:54.000 And how can church...
00:33:55.000 And then you have...
00:33:57.000 The same thing in Florida and in Maryland and in South Dakota and in Colorado.
00:34:01.000 I've been to these states. I'm campaigning because we need to wake up pastors and churches to get out and vote.
00:34:08.000 How could you just sit back and let something as little as somebody's personality?
00:34:13.000 And I was on with Frank Turek last night, and he was sharing with me how much he respects you.
00:34:20.000 Oh, it's very sweet. He had shared something, and you've shared it as well, is that you're not voting for Trump, you're voting for the 5,000 people that come along.
00:34:29.000 That's a Frank Turek one.
00:34:31.000 Isn't that compelling, Bill?
00:34:32.000 I think it's very compelling. Yeah, you know, Morton Blackwell said, personnel is policy.
00:34:37.000 Forget every speech that Obama gave and Kamala and Trump.
00:34:41.000 Forget their speeches. Who do they put into office?
00:34:43.000 Well, I'd say about two-thirds of Trump's people were good and another third were rhinos.
00:34:47.000 But who did the other side put in?
00:34:49.000 Well, sexually LGBTQ variety, Islamist variety, socialist variety.
00:34:58.000 So this is a critical time for the country.
00:35:01.000 And I think we need to set aside those minor things and realize if you care about children, you're going to get involved.

00:35:11.000 I pre-ordered it right now.
00:35:13.000 The audience should do the same.
00:35:15.000 Bill, thank you so much. Thank you, Charlie.
00:35:17.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
