00:01:12.000 We have Blake copiling with us, and joining us now is Brendan Carr from the FCC.
00:01:17.000 Great American, I've known Brendan for quite some time.
00:01:19.000 FCC Commissioner, a senior Republican on the five-member FCC.
00:01:24.000 Brendan, lots to discuss here.
00:01:25.000 George Soros just bought a bunch of radio stations.
00:01:29.000 What is the significance of this?
00:01:31.000 And the FCC just fast-tracked it.
00:01:33.000 What's going on here?
00:01:34.000 Yeah, good to be with you, Charlie.
00:01:35.000 Hopefully one of these days when I join you, there'll be some good news to discuss, but I don't think today will be one of those days.
00:01:40.000 So this goes back actually to the beginning of the year.
00:01:44.000 A Soros fact group has made a play to buy over 200 local radio stations across more than 40 markets.
00:01:52.000 A lot of it's just regular, you know, music and talk, but there are some conservative voices on there, including Mark Levin and Dana Lash on a number of these stations.
00:02:01.000 And normally what happens here is when you have what we call excessive foreign ownership.
00:02:06.000 So this is a case where the Soros entities have foreign investment.
00:02:11.000 It's not disclosed at this point where that comes from.
00:02:14.000 When you have excessive foreign ownership, the FCC has a process where we bring in national security agencies and they review Here we've got the cart before the horse.
00:02:23.000 Only then, after that process runs, does the FCC decide whether to allow the transfer of
00:02:29.000 these licenses to the new entities.
00:02:31.000 Here we've got the cart before the horse.
00:02:33.000 If this reporting is correct, the FCC is about to approve this takeover without running that
00:02:40.000 normal process.
00:02:42.000 And I don't know what is so special about this particular transaction that would merit the FCC breaking from its traditional precedent to fast track something.
00:02:51.000 Blake, do you have a thought on this?
00:02:52.000 I guess this fits into a bigger thing.
00:02:55.000 I think a lot of Americans know about the border, they know about foreign policy, but stuff like the FCC, the FTC, they aren't nearly as plugged into these sort of regulatory decisions that can have hugely far-reaching effects on how the country works.
00:03:13.000 Brendan, for our viewers and listeners, could you maybe just lay out some of those big picture developments that are happening and how, you know, if we were to have a conservative government again, how that could be changed?
00:03:24.000 Yeah, look, there's a lot going on at the agencies right now.
00:03:27.000 I mean, if you step back, Democrats have been in charge of the administrative state for 12 of the last 16 years.
00:03:35.000 And the administrative state, to your point, is this alphabet soup of agencies in Washington.
00:03:40.000 I mean, I work at one of them.
00:03:43.000 And they have increasingly an immense amount of power over the daily lives of Americans and small businesses all across the country.
00:03:50.000 As you look to Congress, as deadlocked as Congress is, and I would say that's a feature, not a bug, right?
00:03:55.000 The American people voted in a divided Congress.
00:03:58.000 So intentionally, they don't want a lot coming out of Washington, you know, very few bills passed.
00:04:03.000 But look at the agencies.
00:04:04.000 We're having thousands and thousands of new regulations passed every single day out of the administrative state.
00:04:12.000 And so I think we do have an opportunity here to push back and return the power back to the people's elected representatives in Congress.
00:04:18.000 There's some really good Supreme Court cases, EPA, Loeb or Bright, which overturned Chevron.
00:04:24.000 At the end of the day, all of these decisions are about Ensuring that the legislative power, the power to sort of pass laws that bind what you do in your personal life, stays with your representatives in Congress and not with people like me at an agency where just a simple 3-2 vote can fundamentally change the landscape.
00:04:44.000 Just as a good example of one of these, you had a piece in the New York Post recently, and it's a very, I think, arcane topic for a lot of people, but it was about how the FCC delayed a rollout of, like, internet in rural areas, and I think a lot of people, their eyes could glaze over at that, but you actually said it was one of the worst abuses of the FCC you've ever seen, so could you build that out for our listeners and explain What's going on here and how that really captures, you know, the Biden era FCC?
00:05:16.000 Yeah, this one in particular, back in 2019, there was a deal that put in place a federal obligation for DISH, now EchoStar, to provide high speed internet 5G service to rural America.
00:05:29.000 And last week on a Tuesday night, they submitted a filing asking to be let out Of that federal commitment.
00:05:38.000 And in a Friday night news dump, the FCC at the Bureau level, so without any input from me at all, or any other commissioner as far as I can tell, the agency granted that extension of the buildout obligation, which ultimately leaves rural America behind.
00:05:53.000 But it's part of a broader story, I think, of leaving rural America behind.
00:05:56.000 The most pressing example is in 2021, President Biden asked Vice President Harris to lead the administration's signature $42 billion effort
00:06:09.000 to expand internet access to millions of Americans.
00:06:11.000 And we're over 1,040 some odd days later, and not one person has been connected to the internet
00:06:21.000 with those $42 billion.
00:06:22.000 Not one home, not one business.
00:06:24.000 Now, if you go back a year or so ago, people were really upset at Secretary Buttigieg
00:06:28.000 because he'd only overseen the build out of eight EV charging stations
00:06:32.000 after getting $7 billion.
00:06:34.000 But I think in hindsight, we probably owe Secretary Buttigieg an apology
00:06:38.000 because eight charging stations is a heck of a lot more than zero people connected to the internet
00:06:44.000 with $42 billion.
00:06:46.000 Let's drive that home.
00:06:48.000 42 billion dollars allocated basically at the beginning of the Biden-Harris administration to build rural internet and they have not they haven't plugged in a single person to the internet.
00:06:59.000 And there was recently a story in Politico, including some testimony subsequently from state officials that were involved in this effort dealing with the federal government.
00:06:59.000 It's amazing.
00:07:10.000 And they said that this program has been marred by mismanagement, dysfunction, delays, And so what have they been doing in the last 1000 plus days?
00:07:21.000 They've been adopting DEI requirements.
00:07:23.000 They've been pushing a climate change agenda.
00:07:26.000 They've been putting in place preferences for government run networks for unionized labor.
00:07:31.000 The list goes on and on.
00:07:32.000 They have used this $42 billion program designed to bridge the digital divide to just press forward with a wish list of progressive policy goals that have absolutely nothing to do with connecting Americans.
00:07:45.000 Meanwhile, We actually had a deal in 2020 with Elon Musk's Starlink to bring high-speed internet to over 640,000 homes and businesses in rural America, so millions of people.
00:07:58.000 President Biden went to the podium and said that Elon Musk is worth being looked into.
00:08:03.000 That unleashed a cavalcade of administrative actions against Elon Musk, including, in my view, here at the FCC, where we then abruptly reversed that 2020 award.
00:08:14.000 It was $885 million to Elon Musk to provide high-speed internet.
00:08:18.000 So we had a deal, which was basically $1,300 in federal support per location served by Starlink.
00:08:25.000 And we've replaced it with this $42 billion program that has connected absolutely no one.
00:08:31.000 And there's actually other programs outside of the $42 billion that the Biden-Harris administration is running where Senator Ted Cruz is exposed that they're spending over $100,000 per home to connect those homes to the internet.
00:08:46.000 Again, we had a deal with Starlink for $1,300 per home, which actually we could probably cut even lower than that if we wanted to.
00:08:53.000 And now we're spending $100,000 where we're actually connecting people, but in the main, the $42 billion program has gone nowhere.
00:09:01.000 It's remarkable.
00:09:02.000 And so the $42 billion, something must be spent on something, right?
00:09:10.000 So far, it's just government jobs.
00:09:11.000 So about $20 billion of the $42 billion has been released to the states to do planning, to hire state broadband offices.
00:09:20.000 But in the main, the $42 billion is largely sitting there still, whether it's the federal coffers or the state coffers.
00:09:26.000 So what I've said is we can correct course pretty quickly here.
00:09:31.000 We can get rid of the DEI requirements, get rid of the climate change agenda, get rid of all this progressive wish list.
00:09:36.000 And there's still a lot of that $42 billion left.
00:09:40.000 That can go to efficiently connecting rural America.
00:09:45.000 The last couple of years have been very tough on people economically.
00:09:48.000 A lot of good folks have gotten into horrible debt just to survive.
00:09:51.000 Some of you are paying 20 to 30 percent on your credit card debt and drowning in those monthly bills.
00:09:57.000 If you own your own home, did you know that refinancing that home can help get you help right now?
00:10:02.000 I can hear it now, but Charlie, I have a three and a half percent rate and I can't refi.
00:10:06.000 Don't be a slave to the rate.
00:10:08.000 Talk to my good friends, Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian.
00:10:11.000 Let them crunch the numbers for you and show you.
00:10:13.000 I've used them.
00:10:13.000 They're amazing.
00:10:14.000 I can't say enough good stuff about them.
00:10:16.000 You can consolidate and pay off all your debt, lower your payments, save thousands in interest, and possibly even pay your home off sooner.

00:10:37.000 My co-pilot, who gets me in trouble.
00:10:39.000 I'm kidding.
00:10:39.000 All the time.
00:10:40.000 Blake has a thought.
00:10:42.000 So, Commissioner, there's been a lot of news with, you know, we mentioned how Starlink could basically just give internet to everyone in rural America, but we decided to spend 42 billion dollars on nothing so far.
00:10:54.000 The other thing, of course, that Elon Musk ventures are heavily involved in is, you know, he bought X, that's become a big free speech battleground.
00:11:02.000 There's been a lot of news in Brazil where Brazil ordered the site taken down, and I think now it's going back up, but they have to comply with some Brazilian censorship stuff.
00:11:11.000 It's not good.
00:11:12.000 I was wondering if you could speak to the current tech censorship dynamic that's going on.
00:11:20.000 You know, with the Biden administration and how they're approaching speech-related issues online, over the airwaves, and what our prospects are there if we have a Kamala Harris administration.
00:11:33.000 Yeah, I think Brazil, as you mentioned, is really the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this global trend towards censorship.
00:11:41.000 What happened in Brazil, if you read through Justice Desmarais' 51-page decision.
00:11:46.000 It was issued in Portuguese, but I do have Google Translate, so I was able to at least get an English version of it.
00:11:53.000 I went through that one, and what he said was that he was acting to censor posts on X to prevent what the justice said in his words were the incitement of anti-democratic acts.
00:12:06.000 But what's interesting is if you then read through and see what is the anti-democratic act?
00:12:11.000 That the Brazilian justice had in mind, he said very clearly, it was people voting the wrong way at the ballot boxes.
00:12:19.000 And he walked through examples in his mind of Brexit in 2016, and President Trump's election in 2016, suggesting that those are the types of negative outcomes, populist outcomes, he said, indicated those are the ones that should be avoided by censoring free speech on X. And this is really concerning.
00:12:37.000 Again, it's part of a global trend.
00:12:38.000 It's that idea that those in power, Only want the people to have in their brains news, information and content effectively that is approved by the very people in power because they want to stay in power.
00:12:52.000 But of course, free speech really is our only hope.
00:12:55.000 Free speech is democracy's check on authoritarianism, on government control.
00:13:00.000 So it's this concerning trend towards saying we believe in democracy and therefore we have to censor People in order to preserve it.
00:13:09.000 And we've seen a lot of weaponization over the last couple of years, just here in the US.
00:13:13.000 So for instance, there was a number of Democrat representatives, members of Congress from California that wrote letters to cable companies, suggesting they dropped Fox News, OAN and Newsmax because of the editorial decisions that those newsrooms were making.
00:13:28.000 There was a transaction where a conservative buyer wanted to purchase some radio stations in South Florida and Democrats spoke up and said, we have to shut that down.
00:13:37.000 Because it can affect electoral outcomes.
00:13:40.000 So there really is this concerning trend.
00:13:42.000 You see it, too, with the Biden-Harris administration pressuring, jawboning, as we say, social media companies into censoring politically protected speech.
00:13:53.000 And, of course, Zuckerberg came out a couple weeks ago with a quasi-mea culpa to one of the House committees saying, you know, sorry that we censored Americans over the last couple of years.
00:14:04.000 Yeah, and I just, Brendan, really quick here.
00:14:06.000 Do you feel any sort of sense of urgency from this current government, our government, the fact that American social media apps are being banned in foreign countries?
00:14:15.000 Doesn't seem as if this is a major concern.
00:14:18.000 Yeah, it's really surprising.
00:14:19.000 You know, I spoke up, a couple others, but government-wide, I think the State Department was silent as best I could tell.
00:14:25.000 I think the White House was silent.
00:14:27.000 And I think sometimes, you know, saying nothing is the loudest possible thing you can do.
00:14:33.000 I think The American government should have been standing up for X. They should have been standing for Starlink.
00:14:37.000 Because remember, once they censored X, they then took it out on Starlink, which is a separate company, separate shareholders, by freezing their assets.
00:14:44.000 So it's worrying that Brazil did this.
00:14:47.000 It's worrying that America seems like they gave it a pass.
00:14:50.000 It's worrying that it's part of a global trend that's taking place in Europe and otherwise.
00:14:54.000 We're in the midst of a fight for free speech.
00:14:55.000 I think it's going to continue here for a little bit.
00:14:58.000 Brendan, thank you for your time.
00:14:59.000 Thanks so much.
00:15:00.000 Thanks.
00:15:03.000 If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again.

00:16:01.000 Okay, joining us now is the legendary Scott Pressler from Early Vote Action.
00:16:07.000 Scott, welcome back to the program.
00:16:08.000 Scott, you're doing incredible work.
00:16:10.000 We have about 10 minutes to go through all of it.
00:16:12.000 I have my co-pilot Blake here as well.
00:16:14.000 Scott, what happened in Luzerne County?
00:16:17.000 Hey Charlie, thanks for having me.
00:16:19.000 So yesterday we flipped Lucerne County from blue to red in terms of voter registration.
00:16:26.000 Now let me put this into context for your audience about what that really means.
00:16:32.000 Four years ago in 2020, during about the same time, the Democrats had 24,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans.
00:16:44.000 And as of this week, for the first time in 40 years, 50 years, we now have a plurality of registered Republicans.
00:16:54.000 Now, what makes this so exciting is this is, quote unquote, Joe Biden's backyard in Northeast Pennsylvania.
00:17:02.000 And so it just shows you, Pennsylvanians are tired of the Biden-Kamala disaster.
00:17:09.000 And even after the April primary, that people don't even have to change their voter registration.
00:17:15.000 I think they're doing so symbolically.
00:17:19.000 And so this was a very big week for the Trump campaign and for Pennsylvania.
00:17:23.000 So Scott, talk about the work you are doing.
00:17:26.000 You're out at gas stations, gun shops, and events registering voters.
00:17:30.000 Your entire team is.
00:17:32.000 Walk us through the process, because anybody can do this work.
00:17:35.000 Absolutely.
00:17:36.000 Well, this is a call to action here today.
00:17:39.000 You know, in Pennsylvania, we have 28 days left to register voters.
00:17:45.000 The deadline for Pennsylvania is October 21st.
00:17:49.000 Guys, there are no exceptions.
00:17:51.000 If you don't register by the 21st, you are not able to vote.
00:17:55.000 And so we are meeting people where they are.
00:17:58.000 And one call to action is wherever you live across the United States, go to your local gun shop, bring voter registration forms with you.
00:18:08.000 You can print them off online.
00:18:10.000 You can go to your board of elections because 30% of Pennsylvania hunters are not registered to vote.
00:18:17.000 And the great work that Turning Point Action is doing in Wisconsin, your group knows, That 40% of Wisconsin hunters are not registered.
00:18:26.000 If we simply engaged with hunters and mobilize them to vote, Donald Trump will be reelected president.
00:18:33.000 Now, we were also inspired by the UNC Chapel Hill fraternity brothers that protected our American flag.
00:18:41.000 I want everybody to visit your sororities, visit your fraternity houses, bring voter registration forms, and Charlie, in states like Pennsylvania, If we have beautiful fraternity brothers that are here from New Jersey or New York or Connecticut, we can legally and lawfully have them vote in Pennsylvania.
00:19:03.000 All they need is the last four of their social security number.
00:19:07.000 They do not need a Pennsylvania driver's license.
00:19:10.000 And last, one very important place that you may also bring voter registration forms.
00:19:16.000 Because of Stolen Valor Tim Walz, and because of Kamala disrespecting Gold Star families, we have 800,000 veterans, Charlie, in Pennsylvania.
00:19:27.000 It's home to the fourth largest veteran community in the entire country.
00:19:32.000 Go to your American Legion.
00:19:34.000 Go to your VFW Hall.
00:19:37.000 This is something that every single one of you can do.
00:19:40.000 And if you're looking for more opportunities, go to Cabela's, Walmart, Home Depot, Bass Pro Shop.
00:19:47.000 We, this Republican Party, is working class America.
00:19:51.000 If we are going to win, we must meet people, meet voters where they are.
00:19:57.000 So thank you for that, Scott.
00:19:58.000 And we were just in Pennsylvania, as you well know, and Noah Formica, who works great with you.
00:20:03.000 We registered hundreds and hundreds of people.
00:20:05.000 It was amazing in Center County.
00:20:08.000 And you too, I think, Scott, you, I don't know if you were there, your team was there.
00:20:10.000 I'm sure that's, you know, your legion was there.
00:20:14.000 So Scott, I'm reading reports that early ballot requests are down in Pennsylvania.
00:20:21.000 Walk through the process of getting a mail-in ballot and what is the significance of it being down so significantly?
00:20:29.000 Well, this is critical, Charlie, and I have to say thank you to Turning Point Action.
00:20:34.000 Thank you for you coming to the universities.
00:20:37.000 And Noah Formica, I loved seeing that picture of you, Noah, and Luke Malice holding up all of those beautiful voter registration forms.
00:20:47.000 And I love that we're not ceding ground.
00:20:49.000 We're seeing the youth movement trend to the right.
00:20:53.000 They want economic prosperity.
00:20:54.000 They want home ownership.
00:20:56.000 They want to be able to have families.
00:20:58.000 Anyway, I also want to give a shout out to Cliff Maloney and PA Chase.
00:21:04.000 Now Cliff, I was just reading his ex account.
00:21:06.000 He shared that the mail-in ballot requests for Democrats are down 360,000 from where they were four years ago at this same point in time.
00:21:21.000 Now I'd like to remind the audience that 2020 in Pennsylvania was decided by 80,000 votes.
00:21:29.000 So not only, Charlie, are the Democrats down 300,000 voter registrations from where they were four years ago, but they're down 300,000 mail-in ballot requests from where they were four years ago.
00:21:40.000 Something that people aren't talking about, Charlie, is that yes, people can vote on Tuesday, November 5th.
00:21:46.000 That's fine if that's how you choose.
00:21:48.000 Yes, people can request a mail-in ballot that will be delivered to whatever address that you put on your mail-in ballot request form.
00:21:55.000 And you may either put it in the mailbox, you may put it in a drop box, you may drop it off in person to your board of elections.
00:22:02.000 But probably what I think is the most important thing we need to discuss is that if people want to vote early in person, you may do so.
00:22:11.000 Now, it's semantics.
00:22:13.000 You're voting an in-person mail-in ballot.
00:22:17.000 But I want to be clear, a mail-in ballot is a paper ballot.
00:22:21.000 And so right now, if you live in Montgomery County, Philadelphia County, Wyoming, Schoolkill, you can, after you're finished watching the Charlie Kirk Show, today, go and vote for Donald Trump and all of our Republican candidates.
00:22:37.000 Go to your local Bureau of Elections.
00:22:41.000 You're going to say, my name is Charlie.
00:22:43.000 I would like to vote an in-person mail-in ballot.
00:22:47.000 They will print a mail-in ballot for you on demand of you asking.
00:22:51.000 You'll fill it out in secret.
00:22:53.000 You'll give it back to the elections officer.
00:22:57.000 And so that way you're voting a mail-in ballot In person, it goes from your hands to the election officials hands.
00:23:05.000 You're not putting it into a Dropbox or United States Postal Service employee.
00:23:10.000 And that's something that especially if you're a trucker, or if you're working class America, a firefighter, police officer, pilot, flight attendant, You're working 12 hour days.
00:23:21.000 We don't want you to miss the opportunity to cast your vote for Donald Trump in our entire Republican ticket.
00:23:28.000 So please take that opportunity.
00:23:30.000 It should be for all 67 counties, Charlie, that on October 16th, that opportunity should be available for everybody.
00:23:39.000 And look, our movement is so big.
00:23:40.000 Shouldn't we give our movement more days to vote, not less days?
00:23:43.000 Yes.
00:23:45.000 Yes, exactly.
00:23:47.000 So Scott, we have a couple minutes here.
00:23:48.000 I want to ask two more questions.
00:23:51.000 The first of which is Republicans' mail-in requests are down slightly, but not nearly the percentage that Democrat mail-in requests are.
00:24:00.000 Is that correct?
00:24:02.000 Yes, that's correct.
00:24:03.000 Also on Cliff Maloney's ex account, he shared, I think the Republicans are down like 46,000, but again, we are most likely going to eclipse 100% of where we were four years ago.
00:24:19.000 While the Democrats, they are not going to hit their margins.
00:24:22.000 And quite frankly, Charlie, I think that a lot of our people are going to vote early in person.
00:24:27.000 Republicans are on track to win Pennsylvania, but the only thing that matters is ballots into boxes.
00:24:35.000 The only thing that matters is actually locking in your vote.
00:24:37.000 And I do have to say one last thing, Charlie.
00:24:39.000 It's very important.
00:24:40.000 I need everyone, please, to check your voter registration status.
00:24:46.000 You can type into the internet, Arizona check voter status, Pennsylvania check voter status.
00:24:51.000 Make sure you're an active voter registered at your current address.
00:24:55.000 With your preferred party, and even if you just voted, guys, please do this.
00:25:00.000 Thank you.
00:25:00.000 And so, Scott, final question here.
00:25:02.000 About two minutes, and please take all of it to answer.
00:25:05.000 You're on the ground.
00:25:06.000 Yes, sir.
00:25:07.000 Compare Pennsylvania right now to 2020 and 2016.
00:25:11.000 What does the energy feel like, and what are our chances structurally compared to previous cycles?
00:25:16.000 Are we in a better position right now?
00:25:19.000 I can objectively tell you, Charlie, that yes, we are in the strongest position we have ever been as a party, as a movement to win Pennsylvania.
00:25:30.000 In 2016, Democrats were nearly a million more voters than Republicans.
00:25:35.000 In 2020, that was 650,000.
00:25:35.000 Today, Charlie, that number is 338,000.
00:25:36.000 650,000. Today, Charlie, that number is 338,000. Again, the Democrats are down 360,000 mail-in
00:25:46.000 ballots. And I want to say, the level of synergy that we have, I believe is unparalleled.
00:25:53.000 You have the PAGOP-RNC with our new co-chair, Laura Trump.
00:25:58.000 You have Early Vote Action, my organization.
00:26:00.000 We have a state director.
00:26:01.000 We have 43 paid staff on the ground across all 67.
00:26:06.000 We have the lovely Turning Point Action.
00:26:08.000 We have Cliff Maloney's PA Chase.
00:26:10.000 You have auxiliary organizations that have hundreds of staffers.
00:26:15.000 I can tell you objectively, this is the largest and strongest ground game infrastructure that the Republican Party has ever seen in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
00:26:28.000 And last, since 2020, We flipped Berks County, Redding, from blue to red.
00:26:34.000 We flipped Beaver County from blue to red.
00:26:36.000 We flipped Bucks County from blue to red outside of Philadelphia.
00:26:39.000 And we flipped Luzerne County from blue to red.
00:26:42.000 I am asking every person to focus on voter registration for the next 28 days.
00:26:47.000 Scott, if and when we win Pennsylvania, you will be a major reason why.
00:26:52.000 And I want everyone to know that.
00:26:54.000 And if we win Pennsylvania, our chances of winning the White House are very good.
00:26:57.000 Now, Scott, I gotta say, I might have to have you go down to North Carolina and fix this whole mess down there.
00:27:02.000 Because unfortunately, Pennsylvania's looking better than North Carolina.
00:27:06.000 We might have to send Scott on a flight down to Charlotte to go get their act together down there, because North Carolina's not trending well.
00:27:12.000 Okay, Scott, thank you.
00:27:14.000 Thank you, gentlemen.

00:28:17.000 Blake, what is the news out of Nebraska?
00:28:23.000 Not good news.
00:28:24.000 It's not good news.
00:28:27.000 We tried very hard, but now Governor Pillan has expressly announced he will not be calling
00:28:32.000 special sessions.
00:28:33.000 So obviously we talked about it today because it appeared it was over, but it is now over, over, it seems.
00:28:41.000 Yeah, it's double dead.
00:28:42.000 Double dead.
00:28:43.000 You know, all dead, in Princess Bride terms.
00:28:46.000 So, this is how it should have worked.
00:28:49.000 The governor should have said, we're doing this.
00:28:50.000 Yeah.
00:28:51.000 Special session.
00:28:52.000 He should have said, we don't have the votes, we're gonna do it to make sure they go on the record.
00:28:56.000 And I want, I want hundreds, I want tens of thousands of Nebraska Patriots to come to Lincoln.
00:29:01.000 Yeah.
00:29:01.000 And to make your voice heard.
00:29:02.000 Mm-hmm.
00:29:03.000 And peacefully and patriotically march.
00:29:05.000 Peacefully and patriotically make your voice heard.
00:29:08.000 And he could have turned himself into a national hero.
00:29:11.000 I made this case to his face, and he said, I'm not doing that.
00:29:15.000 It was such an opportunity that it really shows how there's such a gap.
00:29:21.000 You'd think that someone who runs a state would have stronger, innate political instincts, but there's such a gap between what you have.
00:29:29.000 And what it could be.
00:29:30.000 Do you guys remember back in 2020?
00:29:31.000 Remember the story, Blake, where there were some patriots that drove cars around the Biden bus and they were prosecuted because of that?
00:29:40.000 Do you remember that?
00:29:41.000 Not strongly, but it sounds like something them.
00:29:43.000 I remember this clearly, and so there's a bus, and a bunch of patriots drive around it, and there were charges around this.
00:29:52.000 And the person involved is Jo Lynn Messaros.
00:29:58.000 I hope I said that right.
00:29:59.000 And she joins us now.
00:30:00.000 She is the Trump train.
00:30:01.000 Oh, Joey Lynn.
00:30:02.000 I'm sorry.
00:30:03.000 Joey Lynn.
00:30:04.000 I misread that.
00:30:04.000 Joey Lynn Messaros.
00:30:05.000 I'm sorry.
00:30:06.000 Welcome to the program.
00:30:07.000 Tell us your story, Joey Lynn.
00:30:09.000 Hey Charlie, thank you so much for having me on.
00:30:11.000 This is a huge win for free speech after four long years of enduring the same lawfare tactics that Trump has been experiencing.
00:30:20.000 A group of six of us, Trump supporters, have been sued under the Ku Klux Klan law in Yeah, so just remind the audience the story.
00:30:28.000 Walk through the story.
00:30:29.000 Blake, he's like a walking encyclopedia.
00:30:31.000 campaign staffers for what they claimed was emotional damage that we gave them by driving
00:30:36.000 next to them on the road. But yesterday, Charlie, justice was upheld and the jury saw through
00:30:41.000 this garbage and we were ruled and we were found not guilty and the Constitution was
00:30:46.000 upheld. Yes. So just remind the audience the story. Walk through the story. Blake, he's
00:30:51.000 like a walking encyclopedia. He doesn't remember. So remind the audience the context and the
00:30:56.000 story in the details. It was a viral story in 2020. There was a Biden Harris campaign
00:31:02.000 bus that drove through Texas. There was a Trump train, Trump vehicles flying their American
00:31:07.000 flags, Trump flags, and they drove next to the bus. Trump tweeted about it. He said,
00:31:11.000 I love Texas. And then Biden said, we ran the bus off the road, which looked like a
00:31:16.000 Literally never happened, but mainstream media blew up because this was in early election of 2020.
00:31:22.000 People like The View, Whoopi Goldberg, were saying we were emboldened racist bigots crawling out from under our rocks.
00:31:28.000 How could you vote for Trump when we were inciting such political extremism and white supremacist tendencies?
00:31:35.000 And it made its way into the federal court system for four years, threatening to bankrupt These patriots who were just exercising free speech because they're claiming it gave them emotional damage.
00:31:46.000 And with the power of the media in their pocket, they were effectively chilling free speech rights for four years, guys.
00:31:52.000 And y'all, did y'all know that this has been going on for that long?
00:31:56.000 No, I had no idea.
00:31:58.000 And so, so how much money did you have to spend defending yourself here?
00:32:01.000 Oh, it's been hundreds of thousands of dollars.
00:32:04.000 My husband and I are two of the defendants, and we've spent over $300,000, and several other defendants have spent the same.
00:32:10.000 We're average-class American patriots, plumbers, homeschool moms, pastors, retired individuals, veterans.
00:32:18.000 We do not have this kind of money to fight the system, to defend what should be basic rights, but they wanted to use this as a blueprint To test out if they could federalize squashing free speech rights if it simply offends somebody and despite their best efforts to weaponize the law, force us to settle, which we fought.
00:32:37.000 I'm so proud of each of us for fighting.
00:32:39.000 We made it all the way through a federal trial and we saw a spectacular failure on the plaintiff's part to try to infringe on free speech rights.
00:32:48.000 Did you win a judgment to get your legal costs covered?
00:32:51.000 That's our next step in this fight.
00:32:53.000 So at this point, we've cashed out our 401k and relied heavily on the American people to help us fundraise to even get this far.
00:33:01.000 They wanted to be able to squash us and win before we ever made it to trial just by fatiguing us.
00:33:06.000 The process is the punishment, but by God's grace, he provided every dollar we needed to get in front of a jury and have our day in court.
00:33:13.000 Despite the fact that the system is so rigged, they agged us and prevented us from talking about so many key elements of this case, even with their quote-unquote experts to portray us as political extremists, the jury saw the truth.
00:33:26.000 Wait, wait, so tell me, there were people that were trying, experts, like professors, that were trying to make you seem like you're some extremist?
00:33:33.000 Oh man, yeah.
00:33:35.000 What have you learned through this process, and is your resolve to get Donald Trump in the White House increased or decreased after this show trial?
00:33:43.000 Increased.
00:33:43.000 We have learned that you have got to know what your basic rights are or you will not know when somebody's infringing on them.
00:33:48.000 You have to know what they are to defend them, to assert them, and to teach them to other people so that they can do the same.
00:33:54.000 It is imperative to get a win for Donald Trump because while Kamala says he is going to weaponize the law against their supporters, they have been doing it for four years.
00:34:01.000 We have got to protect Americans and free speech rights.
00:34:04.000 Joey Lynn, excellent and I'm glad that you guys won and you need to get your legal costs paid for.
00:34:10.000 That is step two.
00:34:11.000 And finally, was the lawsuit with the Biden campaign?
00:34:14.000 So these were brought by individuals from the White House, politicians, yeah.
00:34:18.000 So it was listed as individuals from the White House down.
00:34:20.000 Said differently.
00:34:21.000 These were a bunch of left-wing lunatics represented by a multi-billion dollar 501c3 legal infrastructure, right Blake?
00:34:29.000 They almost assuredly didn't.
00:34:30.000 They're so good at this.
00:34:31.000 Certainly when the left gets prosecuted, when they have actual terrorists and like criminals get prosecuted, they have, you know, Kamala raises money for people who do riots.
00:34:38.000 Minnesota Freedom Fund.
00:34:39.000 They can send in NAACP, all of them.
00:34:43.000 Thanks so much for listening everybody.
00:34:44.000 Email us as always freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:46.000 Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
