00:01:26.000 There's a lot of headache that comes with heartache, right?
00:01:28.000 Especially when you're arguing, when you're discussing.
00:01:32.000 To me, I don't love this.
00:01:34.000 It's not my strong suit.
00:01:36.000 I feel like God builds certain people for their job, right?
00:01:39.000 And mine is more storytelling and making people laugh.
00:01:43.000 And then I could tell you something while it's a little light and easier to digest.
00:01:48.000 Your skill set is like, no, I got to tell you and basically surgically get in there and get out.
00:01:53.000 Does that ever get taxing on you?
00:01:55.000 Does it ever get tiring?
00:01:56.000 Yes and no.
00:01:57.000 But I mean, I find purpose in it.
00:01:58.000 I mean, everyone's built for something different, right?
00:02:00.000 And so, I don't mind the combat.
00:02:03.000 Got it.
00:02:03.000 And I don't do really well when things just kind of seem serene.
00:02:09.000 I'm built for the warfare.
00:02:10.000 Nice.
00:02:10.000 I felt it.
00:02:11.000 I felt it.
00:02:11.000 And I also love to build.
00:02:13.000 And so, I don't love to manage, but I have a great team that manages stuff.
00:02:17.000 But I built.
00:02:17.000 I mean, we built Turning Point USA.
00:02:19.000 We've built Turning Point Academy.
00:02:20.000 I mean, we have 600 full-time people now all across all the vectors.
00:02:23.000 Turning Point Action and Turning Point USA.
00:02:26.000 So I love to build, I love to inspire, I love to teach.
00:02:29.000 But yeah, I'm not good at sitting still.
00:02:33.000 Are you trying to run for presidency?
00:02:35.000 No, no.
00:02:36.000 Never?
00:02:37.000 I have no interest in running for anything.
00:02:41.000 I would love to be a very popular radio host, podcast host, great father, great husband, and live a very happy life where I can run a major organization that influences the country, and I could pick up the phone of the President and answer it on the first ring.
00:02:53.000 That would be awesome.
00:02:53.000 But I feel like you're doing that right now.
00:02:56.000 So maybe I'm living the life.
00:02:58.000 It's good.
00:02:59.000 I mean, it's not the first ring, maybe the second or third right now.
00:03:02.000 Do it right now.
00:03:03.000 No, I'm just kidding.
00:03:04.000 Do it right now.
00:03:05.000 Come on.
00:03:09.000 You figured out the good things in life and you're hanging on to them.
00:03:12.000 You know what I mean?
00:03:13.000 Why complicate things and.
00:03:14.000 You can enjoy the fruits that God has given you.
00:03:16.000 You're not in want.
00:03:17.000 It's good.
00:03:18.000 You know, Cliff taught me that.
00:03:19.000 He taught me that you could be where you're at and not be in want.
00:03:22.000 And that's where I find peace.
00:03:24.000 Being very grateful.
00:03:26.000 And I say this all the time, I harp on it, but you can't be anxious and grateful at the same time.
00:03:30.000 So whenever I start getting anxious, I realize, now that I know that, I'm like, oh man, I'm being ungrateful.
00:03:35.000 And that really harms me.
00:03:36.000 So it puts me back into a grateful spot.
00:03:38.000 That's exact.
00:03:38.000 And gratitude is the root of much sin.
00:03:42.000 Has there been a campus that you've gone to, maybe you've gone to it a few times, and you've noticed a change since having these conversations with students?
00:03:50.000 It's a terrific question.
00:03:51.000 I've been doing this now for 12 years, and I've personally visited over 160 campuses, and I've spoken over, boy, I think almost like 140.
00:03:59.000 So I've visited a campus sometimes I was speaking.
00:04:01.000 So I've probably visited more than anybody else in the last 12 years.
00:04:04.000 Shapiro's visited a lot.
00:04:04.000 I think I finally have him beat.
00:04:06.000 But who cares?
00:04:07.000 We've definitely organized more.
00:04:09.000 I love Shapiro.
00:04:10.000 He's great.
00:04:10.000 And I love all of them.
00:04:11.000 I get along with them all.
00:04:12.000 Do you guys have the same point of view?
00:04:15.000 We have differences, for sure.
00:04:17.000 We don't need to get into that.
00:04:18.000 But he's great and he's done a great service to the conservative movement.
00:04:22.000 But we definitely see things differently, especially on foreign policy.
00:04:25.000 However, to your point, when I used to do these campus stuff, we never used to draw the crowds like we're drawing now.
00:04:30.000 Now, part of it is increased popularity, but the amount of energy, enthusiasm, that we are now seeing, especially from young men on campuses, is palpable.
00:04:41.000 I'll go do these outdoor campus events, we'll have thousands of kids show up, no exaggeration.
00:04:45.000 When I do these evening campus events, we cannot find rooms big enough to fit all the students that want to attend our evening campus lectures.
00:04:52.000 Wow.
00:04:53.000 We cannot, whether it be at University of Kansas, or Arizona State University, or Northern Arizona University, all across the country, we cannot literally find spaces big enough.
00:05:03.000 And so praise God for that.
00:05:05.000 And, I mean, I have an upcoming book called Right-Wing Revolution, where I talk about this, where I especially see it with young men, that young men are becoming increasingly conservative, increasingly patriotic, and very much anti-left, anti-Marxist.
00:05:19.000 And the young lady's not as much, but still a little bit so.
00:05:22.000 But it was not the case five or six years ago at all.
00:05:25.000 And we are the most popular thing on campus when we show up.
00:05:28.000 We are the most vocal.
00:05:30.000 We are by far, I think, the most persuasive, where the liberals and the leftists at most university campuses are increasingly radical.
00:05:37.000 They're not good at defending their ideas, as you can see on these videos.
00:05:41.000 I just went to the University of Washington, Seattle, which is one of the most liberal city, liberal campuses in the country.
00:05:48.000 We had 1,500 students attend, we had to turn away another 1,200 students.
00:05:53.000 Students!
00:05:54.000 That means if we had a room big enough, we could have had almost 3,000 students at University of Washington Seattle.
00:05:59.000 Unheard of.
00:06:00.000 And I'm not there as a rapper, I'm not there to tell jokes, right?
00:06:04.000 I am there to talk about very meaty philosophy, history, conservative values.
00:06:11.000 The thirst for knowledge.
00:06:12.000 And they're also thirsty for meaning and purpose.
00:06:14.000 That's exactly right.
00:06:16.000 Because again, I believe we are living through the suicide of the West.
00:06:19.000 And young people especially, they see it.
00:06:22.000 They feel it.
00:06:23.000 They know that something unjust has happened to them.
00:06:25.000 They know that they are being plundered by the elites and by their elders.
00:06:29.000 And right now, the conservative movement is really a meeting point of a lot of those concerns and our agenda is one that actually resonates at a deeper fundamental level because a lot of problems with the conservative movement but at least we are still more in tune with the natural law and how we as human beings should live.
00:06:49.000 The left is at war with that.
00:06:53.000 Alright, I need to tell you guys about StrongCell.
00:06:56.000 It's amazing.
00:06:57.000 With nearly a million units bought by you, it is more clear than ever that StrongCell works.
00:07:04.000 It works to combat fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, skin issues, and constant sickness.
00:07:09.000 I've been taking it personally for over a year now, and it's changed my life.
00:07:12.000 I take it in the morning with breakfast and it helps with natural energy, so I don't have that afternoon crash.
00:07:17.000 And it gives me the clarity of mind to do all that I do every day, which is a lot.
00:07:20.000 If you're tired of feeling tired, struggling with memory, or constantly getting sick, then you have to give StrongCell a try.
00:07:28.000 I love this product because it has NAD.
00:07:30.000 By the way, fact check me on this.
00:07:32.000 Go do your own research on NADH, especially if it's mixed with CoQ10 and Marine Collagen.
00:07:37.000 StrongCell uses a proprietary delivery of NADH to make sure it goes straight to your cells to help your mitochondria.
00:07:45.000 And since there are cells in every area of your body, then healthier cells equals a healthier you.
00:07:50.000 The amount of people that use StrongCell now, thanks to us, is remarkable.
00:07:53.000 Over 1 million units sold.
00:07:56.000 Don't take my word for it.
00:07:57.000 Do your own research.
00:07:58.000 Check it out.
00:07:59.000 Fact check me.
00:08:00.000 Oh, Charlie's just selling me a product.
00:08:01.000 Okay.
00:08:02.000 Maybe you don't want more mental acuity.
00:08:04.000 People say, Charlie, how do you do what you do?
00:08:05.000 Maybe it's the NAD.
00:08:07.000 This is an emerging body of work and science that is showing that NAD and NADH really might be what your body needs in this contaminated, polluted, and poisoned world.

00:08:43.000 Check it out right now.
00:08:47.000 When you're on campus, do you ever feel unsafe when it gets to this amount of numbers?
00:08:54.000 Has there ever been any scare?
00:08:55.000 Well, we have great security.
00:08:57.000 There was one time when Candace and I were eating breakfast in Philadelphia.
00:09:00.000 It went very viral, this is well-known.
00:09:02.000 And about 50 Antifa came up to us while we were eating breakfast at 6 a.m.
00:09:06.000 They were up all night in an anti-cop protest a couple blocks away.
00:09:09.000 They noticed us, stormed the restaurant.
00:09:11.000 People can look it up.
00:09:12.000 That'll be six years ago, actually, in July.
00:09:14.000 And so that was probably the closest That I've ever felt.
00:09:17.000 We get death threats all the time.
00:09:18.000 You know, they come, they send stuff to our homes and all that.
00:09:22.000 And yeah, that's just par for the course.
00:09:24.000 I mean, if you are not getting active death threats, you're not really doing much for the country.
00:09:29.000 You're not shaking things up if we're not knocking on your door.
00:09:31.000 Sorry, I don't mean to... I mean, I'm just... No, I know... It's just kind of like... I wanted to take the... I always laugh when people are like, oh my goodness, I'm a politician, I've got death threats.
00:09:37.000 I'm like, okay, get in line.
00:09:38.000 Like, we... But, okay, like, we can make jokes about this, but... A guy just got sentenced to jail, just... You can fact check it.
00:09:43.000 A guy just got sentenced to jail for three or four years because he wanted to come and shoot up a Turning Point USA event.
00:09:49.000 Wait, how'd they know before you?
00:09:50.000 Well, the FBI actually did their job, amazingly, and I'm very critical of the FBI.
00:09:54.000 But he posted on social media, he said, bored in this flight, XYZ, gonna go to this Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, and shoot them all up.
00:10:00.000 Oh, he announced it?
00:10:01.000 Wow.
00:10:01.000 He was 17 years old when he did it, yeah.
00:10:03.000 Obviously, deep city mental problems, but that doesn't mean he wasn't gonna do it.
00:10:06.000 Right.
00:10:07.000 Right, so he got arrested and... Well, when you just, recently in May, you just had a child.
00:10:14.000 Yeah, two weeks ago, second baby, praise God.
00:10:16.000 Amen, and congratulations.
00:10:17.000 Thank you.
00:10:17.000 But these moments where you're fighting for your country, and you're getting these threats, does it alarm and concern you for your children?
00:10:25.000 I mean, yes and no.
00:10:26.000 We take proper precautions, that's all I'll say.
00:10:29.000 Perfect.
00:10:29.000 And we feel confident in that.
00:10:31.000 But also, I mean, my wife is the best person ever, and she's a patriot, and she's a believer, and we don't want to have to be accountable to God when this life passes.
00:10:40.000 And he asks, why did you not trust in me?
00:10:42.000 And again, everyone is called to something different in the body of Christ.
00:10:45.000 Some people are called to heal the sick.
00:10:47.000 Some people are called to mend broken marriages.
00:10:48.000 For those of you that love God, you must hate evil.
00:10:50.000 Yep, amen.
00:10:51.000 And again, everyone is called to something different in the body of Christ.
00:10:54.000 Some people are called to heal the sick.
00:10:56.000 Some people are called to mend broken marriages.
00:10:59.000 Some people are called to do outright hot gospel teaching.
00:11:02.000 My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth.
00:11:06.000 That's it.
00:11:07.000 And again, some people criticize me for that.
00:11:10.000 It's just my role in this diverse body of Christ, and some people do mission work in the jungles of the Amazon.
00:11:16.000 I am not called to that.
00:11:18.000 But other people are, right?
00:11:19.000 You're called to do an amazingly popular podcast and proclaim truth to millions of people.
00:11:23.000 Amazing.
00:11:24.000 So, do I worry for my safety or my family's safety?
00:11:29.000 No.
00:11:29.000 We take proper precautions, we own lots of weapons, and we constantly have them on us.
00:11:33.000 I gotta thank you, man, because I don't think you probably get thanked enough to be in a place where They don't understand how much slack comes with what you're doing.
00:11:46.000 And I know you have that thick skin on.
00:11:47.000 You're like, no, I'm ready for it.
00:11:49.000 But I also do know what it probably took for you to get there.
00:11:53.000 So if, you know, only God knows your true heart.
00:11:56.000 And if you're doing that, I praise you.
00:11:58.000 I should have answered that differently.
00:11:59.000 It's not a thick skin.
00:12:01.000 It's the armor of Christ, as it says in Ephesians, right?
00:12:04.000 The breastplate of righteousness, the sword of truth.
00:12:07.000 That is what protects you.
00:12:08.000 So are you in your gospel?
00:12:10.000 I mean, I study the word intimately, daily.
00:12:13.000 That changed my life.
00:12:14.000 I love the word.
00:12:15.000 Do you start your day like that?
00:12:17.000 Oh, I start my day throughout the day.
00:12:18.000 I listen to lectures, commentaries.
00:12:20.000 Again, it's not a competition.
00:12:22.000 People know it better than I do.
00:12:23.000 I just, I love it.
00:12:24.000 It's infinitely deep, but also immediately accessible.
00:12:29.000 So you could spend, I just did a whole study on Leviticus, which I don't recommend.
00:12:33.000 That's very difficult.
00:12:35.000 in the original Hebrew. But also, I probably got—I probably get more out of just reading the Psalms
00:12:40.000 than, like, a 90-day deep dive in Leviticus. But that was still really great and wonderful,
00:12:45.000 and I learned a lot. But, look, the Word built the West, and the Word is the—it's a gift,
00:12:51.000 obviously. It is the instruction manual. It's a comforter.
00:12:55.000 The Word is our navigational compass.
00:12:58.000 Basic instructions before leaving Earth.
00:13:00.000 I'm going to use that, and I will give you attribution.
00:13:03.000 Is that yours?
00:13:04.000 I don't know where I got it from.
00:13:05.000 I'm going to be honest with you.
00:13:07.000 George Janko, Basin Instructions Before Leaving Earth Bible.
00:13:10.000 I got that.
00:13:13.000 I love it.
00:13:14.000 Technically, my mother gave it to me.
00:13:15.000 No, I would say George Janko's mother.
00:13:17.000 Because thou shalt not give false or steal.
00:13:21.000 Yep.
00:13:22.000 Right?
00:13:22.000 So you can't steal.
00:13:23.000 Again, I challenge people in public life.
00:13:25.000 It is one of the hardest things.
00:13:26.000 No, she knows I do this.
00:13:28.000 It's hard.
00:13:28.000 You must always give attribution, or else you are stealing from another person.
00:13:33.000 You know what they say?
00:13:33.000 No different than walking into their apartment.
00:13:35.000 Oh, I just steal like an artist.
00:13:36.000 I go, that's still stealing!
00:13:36.000 No, no, no, no.
00:13:37.000 You must always give credit.
00:13:38.000 Now, if you can do your own spin on it, or it can jog you to another thing, but you must always give credit.
00:13:44.000 I like you, man.
00:13:44.000 I'm a stickler.
00:13:45.000 You're a good guy.
00:13:46.000 No, I'm not.
00:13:47.000 No, I'm a sinner.
00:13:48.000 And the fact that you say that, Makes me believe you're a good guy.

00:15:00.000 Has there been a specific maybe story with a specific person you can think of where, you know, you had an interaction with them, they were on the opposite side of things with you, and then maybe down the road later on they came back to you and said, you know what?
00:15:13.000 You made me think and I've changed my mind.
00:15:15.000 Happens all the time.
00:15:16.000 The immediate conversion is rare because pride gets in the way.
00:15:20.000 The long-term conversions are remarkable.
00:15:23.000 The amount of people that come up to me That are now Turning Point USA chapter leaders, Turning Point USA staff, that were Bernie bro socialist atheists, is in the thousands now.
00:15:35.000 And they'll come up, they'll be like, Charlie, I was on the left, I saw your videos, Charlie was on the left, or even, Charlie, I used to come up and debate you at one of these tables, and now I'm no longer that way.
00:15:44.000 And this is why I'm such a big free speech advocate, is that I believe the truth, when allowed to be heard and spread, will be able to defend itself, and it does something to your soul.
00:15:55.000 And that's why sometimes people have cognitive dissonance, because they've been fed this left-wing, secular, atheist, Marxist nonsense repeatedly, and all of a sudden they hear something, and they're like, I'm supposed to hate what he's saying, but it kind of makes sense.
00:16:09.000 It's a seed.
00:16:10.000 It's a seed, and that seed grows.
00:16:13.000 And so, again, great credit to the warrior—you've had them on—Patrick Bette David, and Jordan Peterson, and Candace Owens, and Matt Walsh, and Shapiro, and Michael Knowles.
00:16:21.000 There's 30 or 40 of us that, again, there's probably more, but that really do this on a daily basis, that speak in adversarial environments and do social media content.
00:16:33.000 This is the buried lead of the right-wing revolution happening in the country.
00:16:37.000 People are trying to figure out, why are Gen Z becoming more conservative?
00:16:40.000 What's going on?
00:16:42.000 It's not social media.
00:16:42.000 It's not the people talking just in cable news.
00:16:45.000 It tuckers on that list for sure, right?
00:16:48.000 It is people that go on podcasts like this, that go on Rogan.
00:16:51.000 It is 30 or 40 or 50 or whatever number you want to put that have every day been putting out this heterodox content, this contrarian content, that all of a sudden a generation that thought they're very far to the left, that thought they believed these things, they've had conversions and they've been turned around.
00:17:08.000 And the one thing you'll notice, and you should come to one of our events.
00:17:10.000 They're super fun.
00:17:11.000 We have a ton coming up this fall.
00:17:12.000 Give me a date, I'm there.
00:17:13.000 You have an open invite, I mean that.
00:17:15.000 As an attendee, a speaker, whatever.
00:17:16.000 I think it'd be super cool.
00:17:18.000 Is that we say we have a rule at Turning Point USA.
00:17:22.000 If you disagree, you go to the front of the line.
00:17:24.000 And we will not put up with the crowd booing or jeering opposition questions.
00:17:29.000 So, we try to become what college campuses should be.
00:17:33.000 Equal.
00:17:33.000 Like, let you speak.
00:17:34.000 It should be an open marketplace of ideas.
00:17:36.000 And you could see, again, we have hundreds of hours to demonstrate this and prove this.
00:17:40.000 So, at Washington Seattle, I say, if you disagree, go to the front of the line.
00:17:44.000 30 people who disagreed immediately came to the front of the line.
00:17:45.000 And they all have different objections.
00:17:47.000 And I do my best to try to respond, or to clarify, or agree, or find clarity over agreement, which is another Prager quote.
00:17:57.000 And so, I think that's super healthy, and not only that, it allows people to find out what they really believe, and it challenges lies that they might be living under.
00:18:10.000 One of those, you know, C's that you're speaking of, you know, things that start things, it's actually something you wrote an essay when you were a senior on textbooks.
00:18:17.000 Yes, Breitbart.com.
00:18:19.000 That's right.
00:18:19.000 Right.
00:18:19.000 Well, you guys did do your research.
00:18:21.000 She's very good at it.
00:18:22.000 Twelve years ago.
00:18:23.000 Wow.
00:18:24.000 An eternity.
00:18:26.000 Back in my day.
00:18:26.000 Right.
00:18:29.000 I've lived a full life.
00:18:30.000 I'm very blessed.
00:18:31.000 You have an old soul.
00:18:33.000 It feels that way.
00:18:35.000 No, don't be sorry.
00:18:36.000 What was something that woke you up when you were in class?
00:18:40.000 You read these textbooks and you're like, wow, this is so one-sided.
00:18:44.000 And how do you think that we can fix this in high schools in order to kind of fix these textbooks?
00:18:49.000 Well, to be honest, it's so funny.
00:18:51.000 It was a Breitbart.com article that said liberal bias starts in AP economics textbooks.
00:18:57.000 And I was, like, super upset because it was written by Paul Krugman, who's a very far left-wing economist.
00:19:03.000 And he got a couple things wrong, one of which was so silly.
00:19:06.000 Silly because it shouldn't have, like, demanded national outrage versus what we now live under.
00:19:10.000 It said, the Reagan tax cuts did not accelerate economic growth.
00:19:13.000 Okay, whatever, not exact.
00:19:14.000 Now in our textbooks are literally outright pornography being, like, force-fed to eight- or nine-year-olds.
00:19:21.000 Just to think of how far our country has fallen in 12 years.
00:19:23.000 12 years ago, I used to write articles about, you know, they got economic data wrong in the 1980s, and now we're like, okay, here's how to put on a condom when you're 10 years old.
00:19:36.000 That's a whole nother topic if you want to get into it, but the indoctrination and, dare I say, grooming of our children, which is happening in the public education system, it's intentional.
00:19:47.000 And again, I'm going to keep on going back to the scriptures.
00:19:50.000 The only scripture, the only Ten Commandments, one of the Ten Commandments that involves a promise and your country is, honor your mother and father so that you may live long in the land of which you are in.
00:20:00.000 Wow.
00:20:01.000 And so the quick... They're teaching you not to respect your parents.
00:20:03.000 Of course.
00:20:04.000 And they want to break that bond.
00:20:05.000 Every tyrant.
00:20:07.000 A house that's divided.
00:20:09.000 Exactly.
00:20:10.000 There is not an example in recorded history of a tyrant or a dictator or a totalitarian successfully coming and maintaining power without destroying the parent-child bond.
00:20:21.000 It does not exist.
00:20:22.000 And so, therefore, this outright graphic Pornographic curriculum that we now see is about trying to break that parent-child bond.
00:20:30.000 What happens?
00:20:30.000 Why?
00:20:32.000 Okay, so if a ten-year-old sees graphic material of sex acts they don't understand, they're gonna go to the teacher.
00:20:39.000 And the teacher all of a sudden becomes more of a parent than the parent.
00:20:42.000 And the parent doesn't realize that their authority has been usurped.
00:20:45.000 It's a way of strengthening the state and weakening the family.
00:20:48.000 Can I ask you, though, is it more of the family's fault than the teacher's?
00:20:51.000 It's both.
00:20:51.000 That's a smart point.
00:20:53.000 I totally agree with that.
00:20:53.000 Because at the end of the day, the school taught a lot of stuff that my parents didn't agree with.
00:20:57.000 They sat my ass down and they're like, hey, we don't do that sh**.
00:21:00.000 And you have great parents, and I bet you have a very strong father, I would imagine.
00:21:04.000 And a strong frickin' backhand if I ever went the wrong way.
00:21:07.000 Yes, no, but let me ask you a question.
00:21:08.000 This is a very, very important point.
00:21:11.000 Did you ever fear that if you did something wrong, your mother would, quote, kill you?
00:21:15.000 My mom would beat the brakes off of me.
00:21:17.000 That's biblical.
00:21:19.000 Don't spare the rod.
00:21:20.000 No, this is very important.
00:21:22.000 Kids that do not fear the retribution of their parents are wild boys.
00:21:26.000 Exactly.
00:21:27.000 They're wild.
00:21:28.000 And the scriptures say this repeatedly, which is that if you do not fear the justice of your parents, then, for example, if you talk to kids who didn't do drugs growing up, you say, why not?
00:21:40.000 Oh, my mom would kill me.
00:21:41.000 Who are you going to fear?
00:21:42.000 If you don't fear your parents, who are you going to fear?
00:21:43.000 Yeah, you should fear God and your parents.
00:21:44.000 And by the way, they're substitutes for each other in the sense that the commandment to honor your mother and father, so you belong in the land of which you are in, is the test.
00:21:52.000 If you cannot honor your earthly parents, you cannot honor your heavenly father.
00:21:57.000 And so, your question, or is it your parents' fault?
00:22:01.000 Yes.
00:22:02.000 And because they're not on their guard, because they're naive, because they are trusting of institutions they should be distrusting of.
00:22:08.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
