00:00:13.000 That's right, 320,000 kids have gone missing from the largest slave trade in American history.

00:00:20.000 We did not abolish slavery in this country.

00:00:22.000 We just call it something different.

00:00:24.000 We call it immigration.

00:01:36.000 Joining us now is Carlos Trullio, former U.S.

00:01:39.000 Ambassador and Organization of the Americas.

00:01:42.000 Carlos, welcome to the program.

00:01:43.000 Carlos, I want to first get you to respond to Javier Salazar, the Sheriff of Bexar County, Texas, saying that Trump made the job harder on the border.

00:01:53.000 Play Cut 115.

00:01:55.000 When Donald Trump comes down to Texas, stands next to officers in uniforms just like mine, he's not there to help us.

00:02:02.000 Don't think that.

00:02:03.000 Not for a second.

00:02:04.000 He is a self-serving man.

00:02:08.000 I mean, look, just like when he killed the border bill.

00:02:11.000 He just made our jobs harder.

00:02:14.000 Now Kamala, on the other hand, has been fighting border crime for years.

00:02:20.000 She's gone down to Mexico and worked to stop the traffickers. 0.98

00:02:24.000 And when the traffickers didn't stop, she put them in jail.

00:02:29.000 Now, down in my neck of the woods, we call that fooling around and finding out.

00:02:35.000 I may be paraphrasing a bit.

00:02:39.000 Ambassador, your reaction?

00:02:41.000 Well, I think they can't defend their track record.

00:02:44.000 When you talk about over 10 million people entering this country illegally over the last three and a half years, those 10 million people are more than 40 states, the population in 40 states.

00:02:54.000 When you talk about who hasn't been to the border, A Border Czar who hasn't spent any time in Mexico.

00:03:00.000 A Border Czar who's never visited El Salvador.

00:03:02.000 A Border Czar who hasn't been to Guatemala or Honduras in the last two and a half years.

00:03:07.000 A Border Czar who proposed cutting $220 million for ICE enforcement actions in 2019 as a United States Senator.

00:03:14.000 These are her policies.

00:03:16.000 What's really interesting is how she's abandoning them.

00:03:20.000 Once the darling of the progressive left, a person who believed in sanctuary cities and sanctuary for all, a person who never believed in borders, has quickly changed her political colors because of expediency.

00:03:31.000 And I think it's really important for the press and for the American public to hold her responsible.

00:03:35.000 Who is she? 0.99

00:03:35.000 The lack of sincerity is really concerning. 0.99

00:03:38.000 So the same sheriff said this in Cut 151.

00:03:43.000 53 people died after being found inside that trailer in San Antonio in what one federal agent called the worst human smuggling incident in U.S.

00:03:51.000 history.

00:03:51.000 We've now learned that four people have been arrested and charged in this case.

00:03:55.000 The sheriff is now pleading with President Biden for assistance.

00:03:58.000 He has written this in a letter.

00:03:59.000 I'm angry, Mr. President.

00:04:01.000 I'm angry that I could not stop this massive loss of life in my county.

00:04:05.000 I'm angry that despite my best efforts to appeal to your administration, I have not received a response.

00:04:11.000 This is the same guy, Ambassador.

00:04:12.000 I mean, is he being blackmailed, paid off?

00:04:14.000 What's going on here?

00:04:16.000 Well, I think they just lack credibility, right?

00:04:18.000 Rather than being a law enforcement professional, like many of the great people who serve this country are, they're politicians.

00:04:24.000 You can't be a true law enforcement professional and support a person who champions to fund the police, a person who champions eliminating support for ICE agents and Customs and Border Patrol, a person who champions Local law enforcement not cooperating with federal officials in order to have a streamlined process for deporting people who have come to this country, committed crimes, and are on their way out.

00:04:49.000 It's really, really sad a person like Mr. Salazar to pick politics over being a professional.

00:04:55.000 So, I thought that Kamala Harris was not in charge of the border.

00:04:59.000 And so, help me understand, the rank and file Customs and Border Patrol, the Border Patrol Union, which candidate do they prefer?

00:05:08.000 Kamala Harris or Donald Trump?

00:05:11.000 Donald Trump has always supported them.

00:05:11.000 Donald Trump.

00:05:13.000 And one of the perfect examples is villainizing these agents.

00:05:17.000 And one of the great examples of the media manipulation was Customs and Border Patrol.

00:05:22.000 You have these agents on horses with whips.

00:05:25.000 The whips were there to protect the horses and to move the horses away and to actually protect the migrants and move them away from the migrants. 0.71

00:05:32.000 The media and the leftist liberals who run this country are all glorifying this.

00:05:37.000 Look at these Border Patrol agents whipping these poor Haitian migrants.

00:05:41.000 They do an entire investigation.

00:05:43.000 They demonize these individuals.

00:05:45.000 The Office of the Inspector General comes out and says that that's not what they were doing.

00:05:49.000 When they try to cut their benefits, when they try to cut their pay, when they're constantly attacking them, when they scream in the streets, defund ICE, eliminate ICE, let's replace ICE.

00:06:00.000 How do you think that makes these agents feel?

00:06:01.000 How do you think it makes their families feel that these are people that are risking their lives in order to make our country, and they're constantly being villainized by their political elected leaders?

00:06:10.000 So let's transition to Venezuela here.

00:06:12.000 Kamala's economic policies eerily mirror that of that we've seen in Venezuela with price controls and government force, price fixing, free stuff socialism, attacking and villainizing corporations.

00:06:23.000 You know a lot about South America.

00:06:25.000 Please help educate our audience, Ambassador.

00:06:28.000 Well, President Malay in Argentina said it best. 0.99

00:06:30.000 He said, if printing money would end poverty, then printing diplomas would end stupidity. 1.00

00:06:35.000 You can't tax your way to prosperity. 1.00

00:06:37.000 You can't spend your way to prosperity.

00:06:39.000 This idea that all the underlying currents of the economy that drive inflation, this out-of-control government spending, the out-of-control entitlements, the lack of economic growth, the elimination of our energy independence that led to this massive inflation, How are we going to control it?

00:06:54.000 By putting controls on the price, right?

00:06:56.000 So we're going to put control on prices that consumers pay, which will never work, which led to the collapse of Venezuela, which led to the collapse of my parents' native country of Cuba, and which has led to the mass migration of these people coming to the United States searching for a better life.

00:07:12.000 So, the other part of this is the missing children.

00:07:17.000 So, the missing children on the southern border, how many children have gone missing under the Kamala Harris border management that we know of?

00:07:25.000 At a minimum, it's 320,000, and that doesn't include what they qualify as gotaways.

00:07:30.000 So, just help me understand.

00:07:30.000 Wait, 320,000?

00:07:31.000 Don't let me interrupt.

00:07:34.000 So, 320,000 kids that came across the border that we have no idea where they now are?

00:07:39.000 They're completely unidentified.

00:07:39.000 Is that correct?

00:07:41.000 We were really concerned about Children in Cages, and the media was very concerned about Children in Cages, a program that was started under President Barack Obama.

00:07:48.000 But we're not concerned about 320,000 children in this country who are currently being sexually exploited and sold into human trafficking.

00:07:58.000 How do we even know that's the correct number?

00:07:58.000 320,000?

00:08:01.000 How do we know it's not 600,000?

00:08:03.000 What are the median ages of these children?

00:08:06.000 So they're all minors.

00:08:07.000 This is their numbers.

00:08:08.000 320,000 is their numbers.

00:08:10.000 And as I said, it doesn't include what they classify as gotaways.

00:08:13.000 These are people who never had an encounter with any of the border protection services.

00:08:17.000 So we know the number at a baseline is 320,000.

00:08:20.000 It's obviously significantly more.

00:08:22.000 And these are all children that are minors under 18 years old or in this country without any sort of adult protection and who are right now probably being sexually and physically exploited across this country.

00:08:33.000 It's the largest human trafficking operation probably in the history of the United States.

00:08:38.000 I mean, that's slavery, isn't it?

00:08:41.000 It is modern slavery.

00:08:42.000 And it's not only those children, it's also the women. 0.77

00:08:44.000 They don't speak a lot about these women. 0.75

00:08:46.000 But a lot of these women that come over are sold obviously into sex rings, are sold into prostitution, they're sold into forced labor. 1.00

00:08:53.000 A lot of these children that are coming over aren't even coming over with their parents.

00:08:56.000 They're being traded and smuggled and brought across our southern borders, and ultimately, unfortunately for many of them, it ends with the loss of their life.

00:09:05.000 So a party that claims to be, as the Democrats do, a party of opportunity, a party of women, a party of choice, is really through their failed policies leading to one of the biggest humanitarian crises that our country has ever experienced.

00:09:19.000 So it's 380,000.

00:09:19.000 Let's just say that not all of them are being sold into quote-unquote slavery, but 320,000, I'm sorry, 320,000.

00:09:27.000 So is it possible 100,000 minors are currently being used as sex and labor slaves?

00:09:33.000 I think the number is much, much higher than that.

00:09:36.000 These children don't, so the way the coyotes work, the coyotes charge, they charge their fig, right?

00:09:41.000 They charge their bounty to bring you across the southern border.

00:09:44.000 If you don't have that bounty, if you don't have the $10,000, the $8,000, the $12,000, you have to work it off.

00:09:50.000 If you're a single woman or a child, how would you pay back $10,000 or $12,000 coming into this country illegally? 0.77

00:09:56.000 The only asset they have to sell, unfortunately, is their bodies.

00:09:59.000 It's their souls.

00:10:01.000 And that's what's happening with these children.

00:10:02.000 That's what's happening with these women. 1.00

00:10:04.000 And the cartels, unfortunately, take that money to go back into these countries to further weaken institutions, to further drive more illegal migration into our country.

00:10:12.000 Yeah, I mean, I was recently on the Young Turks Network and Cenk on there was like, you know, we as Democrats, we care about all people.

00:10:19.000 We care about all humanity.

00:10:21.000 Ambassador, what you're describing is the most graphic, grotesque slave operation we've seen maybe ever in history.

00:10:28.000 Thirty seconds remaining, Ambassador.

00:10:30.000 It's absolute carnage, and if they really care for humanity, if they really, really do, they should fly down to Panama to the Darien Gap.

00:10:36.000 That's where most migrants are coming from Central America.

00:10:38.000 Rent a car and drive all the way to Mexico, and you will see children and women abandoned on the side of the road like runaway dogs.

00:10:46.000 It is absolutely heartbreaking.

00:10:47.000 So if they really, really care about these children, about these women, about the families who are struggling with fentanyl addiction and fentanyl death in our country, they should really take this seriously and do something about it and stop placating now when election season comes that they're the party of border security.

00:11:00.000 But they don't care.

00:11:01.000 And instead, millions of American women are going to vote just for abortion, even though there's over 300,000 kids and potentially tens of thousands of sex slaves brought to you by Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:11:14.000 Are you worried about the future of the U.S.

00:12:16.000 Fredo Cuomo is becoming a very interesting new character in the media landscape.

00:12:22.000 Chris Cuomo, who's always been a very tragic figure in American media, is speaking out more and more because here's how it works.

00:12:30.000 Once you are no longer in the box, once you are no longer on CNN, once you are no longer in the automatic distribution portal, then you have to be interesting.

00:12:41.000 Like us.

00:12:42.000 We have to earn every viewer.

00:12:44.000 We don't have CNN that can blast into 100 million homes.

00:12:48.000 We don't have a cable news channel.

00:12:49.000 We have Rav, which is amazing, but it's not nowhere near the size.

00:12:53.000 And that's okay.

00:12:54.000 Well, right now we're not on Rav, actually.

00:12:56.000 We have JD Vance on Rav.

00:12:57.000 But that's okay.

00:12:59.000 Wrong time to say that.

00:13:01.000 But Chris Cuomo says perfectly on the ground, there's another reality.

00:13:08.000 It's a pay-for-play operation.

00:13:09.000 This is Chris Cuomo who says it perfectly.

00:13:12.000 Listen carefully about how these conventions actually operate.

00:13:16.000 Now he's doing this because he needs to stay marketable.

00:13:18.000 And he's telling the truth.

00:13:20.000 Listen carefully of the inside baseball of how the media actually works at these conventions.

00:13:24.000 Playcut 150.

00:13:26.000 But there is another reality that is literally looking down on them.

00:13:30.000 Greg, look at the ring of suites, okay?

00:13:32.000 This is not unique to Democrats.

00:13:34.000 There is a game of money.

00:13:36.000 When people talk about uniparty, we are strangled by the money reality in our politics.

00:13:43.000 Those suites start at 500 grand.

00:13:46.000 You think there's like a teacher group up in there?

00:13:48.000 You think it's like the Cub Scouts of Columbia County, South Carolina, that's up in those boxes?

00:13:54.000 Some of them are lobbies and good things.

00:13:57.000 The media boxes, you think they're free?

00:13:59.000 Why do you think I'm on the floor?

00:14:01.000 NewsNation is not a broke company.

00:14:03.000 Nextdoor is a massive organization.

00:14:05.000 We are corporate media.

00:14:07.000 We don't have one of those boxes, because that's the game.

00:14:10.000 You pay to play.

00:14:12.000 Those boxes are filled with the same people that they say they're going to regulate.

00:14:16.000 They are literally looking down on the faithful.

00:14:20.000 Beautifully said.

00:14:22.000 So when you see these beautiful shots of them overlooking the floor, they're forking over $500,000 to be there.

00:14:30.000 And so the corporate media then encircles the entire event.

00:14:34.000 And if you're not able to write a $500,000 check, then you don't get one of those suites.

00:14:41.000 And by the way, that's very low for a suite.

00:14:44.000 At the RNC, they were going for a lot more than that.

00:14:46.000 Because the RNC, there were less suites actually available.

00:14:50.000 It's all smoke and mirrors.

00:14:52.000 It's Hollywood at its core.

00:14:54.000 And that really is the takeaway of this convention.

00:14:58.000 Is that there is not a record to run on.

00:15:01.000 When confronted with the record, they run, they flee.

00:15:05.000 It's not as if they can say all the amazing things they did for the country.

00:15:11.000 Let's play a piece of tape here.

00:15:13.000 They brought in Oprah Winfrey.

00:15:15.000 Let me just say something about Oprah.

00:15:18.000 Oprah is a sad story.

00:15:21.000 Oprah used to be one of my favorite people. 0.90

00:15:22.000 I think they did a study like 20 years ago.

00:15:28.000 I think she was the most trusted, most liked person in media in America 20-25 years ago.

00:15:33.000 She was interesting.

00:15:34.000 She was dynamic.

00:15:36.000 She came from absolute poverty. 0.85

00:15:38.000 She was pals with Donald Trump.

00:15:39.000 In fact, Oprah used to write these beautiful letters to Donald Trump.

00:15:43.000 Oprah is very, very rich.

00:15:45.000 She is Miss Chicago.

00:15:47.000 She had Harpo Studios in downtown Chicago.

00:15:51.000 And Oprah Winfrey has become angrier and angrier, more bitter and bitter as she has grown older.

00:16:01.000 She used to be this magnanimous, non-political. 0.99

00:16:05.000 She kind of almost used to be on the pro-American side.

00:16:09.000 Can you guys get the clip of Oprah interviewing Trump?

00:16:11.000 It's so good.

00:16:14.000 Let's play cut 122.

00:16:16.000 ...and respect are on the ballot in 2024.

00:16:20.000 And, and just plain common sense.

00:16:32.000 It's so sad.

00:16:37.000 That's a short clip.

00:16:38.000 Because Oprah has a great American story.

00:16:41.000 And she's saying that decency and respect is on the ballot?

00:16:47.000 Common sense is on the ballot?

00:16:50.000 Like post-birth abortions?

00:16:52.000 Turning Easter into Transgender Day of Awareness?

00:16:56.000 That is just common sense, not having a border inflating one's currency.

00:17:01.000 Oprah had an amazing American story and climbed the entire ladder and did it the right way. 1.00

00:17:06.000 She earned it.

00:17:07.000 Very interesting.

00:17:08.000 Phenomenal news reporter.

00:17:10.000 And now in her later years, she's deciding to spend all that capital and her billions, by the way, Backing an American political party that decides to try to destroy the very country that she was able to flourish in. 1.00

00:17:22.000 It's a tragic story.

00:17:23.000 A tragic story of how Oprah was able to live the American dream and now she wants to kill it for the next generation. 0.56

00:17:32.000 Alright, I need to tell you guys about StrongCell.

00:18:42.000 People say, Charlie, how do you do what you do?

00:18:44.000 Maybe it's the NAD that I take.

00:19:22.000 Check it out right now.

00:19:26.000 Joining us now is a wonderful journalist, Liz Collin, author of the important book, Their Lying, The Media, The Left, and the Death of George Floyd.

00:19:36.000 Liz, welcome back to the program.

00:19:38.000 Hi Charlie, good to see you.

00:19:39.000 Thanks for having me.

00:19:40.000 So Liz, first let's begin with your reaction to the very brief speech from the Governor of Minnesota, and he wants to be the next Vice President of the United States, Tim Walz.

00:19:50.000 Yeah, it's interesting how he has radically changed, even just in his time since he's been picked as the VP.

00:19:59.000 His mannerisms when he's going out on stage are remarkably different from anyone who's covered him.

00:20:07.000 Here in Minnesota.

00:20:08.000 So it's quite interesting.

00:20:10.000 You know, no mention, as you heard, Charlie, of this command sergeant major title by him.

00:20:15.000 Anyway, his wife was still peddling that in a DNC video we saw before him.

00:20:20.000 No mention of IVF this time around, now that he's been called out on that lie.

00:20:25.000 No mention of his DUI.

00:20:26.000 The lie is told there.

00:20:28.000 Meanwhile, you have a fawning audience, of course.

00:20:31.000 They're holding Coach Wall's signs in the audience, despite the fact he hasn't coached football.

00:20:36.000 In 22 years, and he was a ninth grade coach in Nebraska and an assistant coach at the high school in Mankato.

00:20:43.000 So again, there's just a lot more to this guy than they're trying to sell to the public.

00:20:49.000 Well, yeah, and it was also incredibly light on policy and worldview.

00:20:53.000 It was full of kind of just culturally appropriating, folksy, Midwestern conservatism.

00:20:59.000 So explain to us kind of his trajectory in recent years.

00:21:04.000 You've done a lot of reporting on this at Alpha News, how this guy went from a public school teacher to then a congressman to now potentially vice president of the United States.

00:21:14.000 How has he changed exactly?

00:21:16.000 Well, and I'm glad you brought up the policy part.

00:21:18.000 All of a sudden, you know, they're, they're cutting taxes.

00:21:21.000 This is something he did.

00:21:22.000 He did mention last night, despite, uh, helping to squander a $20 billion surplus in, in Minnesota.

00:21:29.000 And, uh, now taxes have gone up nearly $10 billion, uh, on his watch so that that was left out as well.

00:21:35.000 Uh, the most radical governor in Minnesota history.

00:21:38.000 That's, that's no secret.

00:21:39.000 We are a trans refuge state, uh, in Minnesota now, meaning children are allowed to come here.

00:21:45.000 for a sex change if their parents don't consent.

00:21:49.000 We have the most radical abortion laws in the country, abortion up until birth.

00:21:54.000 Radical policies being pushed in our classrooms.

00:21:56.000 So many and so much so that many teachers and students have fled the state, many families as well.

00:22:04.000 I think they say it's $2 billion in income that we've lost in this state just recently.

00:22:09.000 The most draconian COVID lockdowns across the country.

00:22:13.000 So he has radically changed so much so, even that his district in Congress did not vote for him

00:22:20.000 this last time around as governor, as rural Minnesotans have really turned on him.

00:22:25.000 He referred to them as living in the land of rocks and cows, kind of turning his back on them.

00:22:31.000 But now it's interesting, we're really hearing him embrace that part of his life when they've felt left behind

00:22:37.000 for quite some time.

00:22:39.000 So remind us and walk through the chronology of the George Floyd riots.

00:22:43.000 You wrote an entire book about this.

00:22:45.000 They're lying.

00:22:46.000 Is it fair to say that Tim Walz is partially responsible for the burning of Minneapolis?

00:22:52.000 Yeah, they're lying.

00:22:53.000 He's a big part of the they.

00:22:55.000 He's one of the first leaders to come forward to call this murder within just days of this happening,

00:23:01.000 despite not watching the body camera footage, not knowing many facts of any of this.

00:23:06.000 And it really helps to fan the flames, making this all about race.

00:23:09.000 We know that that had nothing to do with this, helping to pander.

00:23:13.000 School students in Minnesota had to take nine minutes of silence in honor of George Floyd shortly after this,

00:23:22.000 due to a proclamation that he made in the state of Minnesota.

00:23:25.000 But again, faced with leadership when it was needed, he withheld the National Guard.

00:23:31.000 By at least a day, many would say several days, as they were awaiting that call to put a stop to this.

00:23:37.000 Instead, 1,500 businesses, either damaged or destroyed, in the wake of this, there were four people who died

00:23:44.000 in the course of the riots, and so many of those businesses, in fact, most,

00:23:49.000 have not rebuilt since.

00:23:51.000 If you like this video, please subscribe to my channel.

00:23:52.000 It's so interesting.

00:23:53.000 I mean, Minnesota used to be famously happy and a well-run state.

00:23:58.000 Kind of like, hey, this is how socialism can work in America.

00:24:00.000 You know, we're all neighbors.

00:24:02.000 And that emphasis on neighborliness was always kind of a Minnesota value.

00:24:06.000 And it's not famous anymore.

00:24:07.000 Now it's the state of riots.

00:24:08.000 It's a state that doubled its murder rate in three years.

00:24:11.000 It's a state with the biggest COVID fraud.

00:24:12.000 It's a state with outward migration.

00:24:14.000 Is Minnesota Adding population, number one, and then if yes, does that, if you factor in, let's just say mass migration from foreign countries, is Minnesota booming?

00:24:26.000 I mean, you have the largest city in the state that seems to continue to be on fire more than four years later.

00:24:26.000 No.

00:24:33.000 You've had corporations relocate from their downtown locations.

00:24:37.000 They want nothing to do with the crime that has been happening.

00:24:41.000 Tens of thousands of families have left.

00:24:43.000 Again, $2 billion walking out the door.

00:24:45.000 I just see even on X, so many people joining the conversation with things that we're putting out there because the press has been asleep at the wheel in Minnesota.

00:24:53.000 And thankfully, so much of this is now coming out.

00:24:56.000 whereas it should have clearly years ago.

00:24:59.000 But they write on there about how they're in Florida or they're in Arizona or they're in North Carolina

00:25:04.000 due to walls being a big reason for that.

00:25:09.000 And it's sad.

00:25:10.000 I mean, I'm from here.

00:25:11.000 This is the state where I grew up and it's sad that there are very few people

00:25:15.000 that seems willing to tell the truth about what's really gone on.

00:25:18.000 And when you see this, it's almost opposite day when you're watching that speech last night, you know, talking about how he doesn't want kids to be shot in the classroom.

00:25:30.000 This is something he said.

00:25:31.000 Well, then why was he one to not allow school resource officers, SROs, in schools due to his you know, anti-law enforcement stance. Why then have five

00:25:42.000 first responders died in 13 months?

00:25:44.000 Nobody's talking about them. He's not saying their names.

00:25:47.000 They don't seem to matter to Governor Walz. It's so much about this painting a

00:25:52.000 picture of a person that there's no reality there. And I know you've done some stories on

00:25:59.000 his connections to China.

00:26:01.000 That is finally coming out.

00:26:03.000 I recently interviewed a student that went to China with him,

00:26:05.000 who actually has filled out a whistleblower report and has been contacted

00:26:10.000 by lawmakers interested in all of this, saying that he collected the little Mao books on his trips

00:26:17.000 This student saw him buy nearly a dozen in his 30 trips that he's,

00:26:17.000 there.

00:26:22.000 he's taken to China that are well-documented.

00:26:25.000 And he talks about how he's a true believer.

00:26:27.000 And ever since he started running for office, this, this student has tried to raise the issue that there's,

00:26:33.000 there's something off with this. I mean, he really does believe this in his heart and we've seen,

00:26:37.000 seen this again and again with so many policies that have been put in place in 0.99

00:26:40.000 Minnesota, but yet he's, he's touting this, uh, mind your own damn business line, 0.95

00:26:45.000 which is also, uh, anything but here. 0.91

00:26:48.000 Yeah, so let's dive into that.

00:26:49.000 Mind your own business.

00:26:51.000 What's your vaccination status?

00:26:53.000 Mind your own business. 0.98

00:26:55.000 If your kid is trans and you don't think he's trans, I'm gonna take your kid away from you. 1.00

00:27:00.000 This is one of the greatest frauds that I've seen. 0.94

00:27:04.000 Explain more to the audience.

00:27:05.000 This guy is an Orwellian Maoist.

00:27:10.000 He helped to set up the hotline, Charlie, that you could snitch on your neighbors if they weren't following COVID policies.

00:27:16.000 That was on his watch.

00:27:18.000 There have been many state mandates put in place.

00:27:20.000 I've done some reporting about restaurant owners just saying, hey, we're relocating, we're going elsewhere due to this mandated family sick time and different policies.

00:27:30.000 that have been put in place.

00:27:32.000 He is notoriously thin-skinned.

00:27:34.000 We've even interviewed over at Alpha News people who were Democrats who actually campaigned for him.

00:27:41.000 There's a gentleman that told his story recently when he asked Walz about this mandate

00:27:47.000 with these COVID vaccines that Walz blew up at a public event, how dare he sort of step out of line

00:27:55.000 and ask these questions.

00:27:57.000 And this man then, again, someone who campaigned for Walz, he suffered some recourse within his job

00:28:04.000 as a result of challenging him.

00:28:06.000 And there's many stories among the press about that as well, that if you step out of line and ask something, you get in trouble.

00:28:14.000 I've requested dozens of interviews with the guy at this time for the book and the documentary.

00:28:17.000 He doesn't want to talk to me because he's just not challenged by anyone else, it seems, in the media.

00:28:24.000 Again, Minnesota's largest newspaper is being run by one of his former commissioners.

00:28:24.000 And that's really sad.

00:28:30.000 In closing here, Liz, so the J.D.

00:28:39.000 Vance Walls debate coming up, if you were to look at this as a journalist, what would you say is Walls' greatest weaknesses coming into a debate? 0.80

00:28:49.000 Yeah I would say it is a long list but I will say more than anything he's a good liar. 0.86

00:28:53.000 I mean he's a documented liar and he is good at it because people seem to be falling for this. 0.82

00:28:59.000 To use the wrong rank in the military for decades. 0.94

00:29:04.000 Seems crazy to me.

00:29:05.000 Seems wild that somebody's able to get away with this.

00:29:08.000 And it's about some things that just don't even matter at all with this IVF story, this DUI story that's come out, the way he's even selling the COVID narrative, which is so counter to what actually took place in this state.

00:29:24.000 Even public education.

00:29:25.000 I mean, he's a longtime school teacher.

00:29:27.000 Today, some assessments came out that Minnesota is You know, below the national average when it comes to our K-5 education.

00:29:37.000 So, so many talking points that I think, you know, J.D.

00:29:40.000 Vance needs to challenge him on.

00:29:41.000 And we'll see how he's able to respond because he hasn't taken a question, whether by the local media or the national media since, you know, since he was picked as vice president.

00:29:53.000 Quite a ticket they're running there.

00:29:54.000 Take no questions.

00:29:55.000 Lie all the time.

00:29:57.000 Liz, great work.

00:29:57.000 We'll see if it works.

00:29:58.000 Thank you so much.

00:31:08.000 Brian Glenn is with us.

00:31:09.000 He's reporting live from the border.

00:31:12.000 Okay, Brian, what are you hearing?

00:31:13.000 What are you seeing on the border?

00:31:15.000 What is happening with President Trump's visit there?

00:31:17.000 Well, good afternoon, Charlie.

00:31:18.000 We are in Cochise County here just south of Tucson by about an hour and a half along the section of border wall, which let me step out of the way real quickly.

00:31:28.000 I'll show you exactly what's happening here.

00:31:29.000 Austin, if you'll push in the border wall.

00:31:33.000 goes up this uh up this mountain but it does end and when you talk about president trump uh mentioning the the people crossing our border uh well there's a spot where they can cross uh into uh the u.s now they obviously will not be doing that today there is heavy uh security border security here as you would expect the president uh making a stop here in about an hour now he's going to talk charlie to some Every day Americans that have been impacted by this open border that has not only really plagued Arizona but really Texas and New Mexico and really all across this country.

00:32:08.000 Charlie, you and I have been doing stories on this for way too long about the effects of the Kamala Harris and Joe Biden broken border that is really I guess poured fentanyl, drugs, Biden crime wave, now Kamala crime wave into this country.

00:32:25.000 But I love what you said in the open in the previous segment.

00:32:28.000 Yeah, I'm looking forward to President Trump at your event there in Glendale.

00:32:33.000 And who knows, maybe we do get a surprise there, right?

00:32:36.000 We'll see what happens.

00:32:37.000 And so you're on the ground there in Arizona.

00:32:39.000 President Trump is coming to visit his wall.

00:32:42.000 What is the sense that you get from Border Patrol about the volume of people and how the invasion has continued as you were there right near our border wall?

00:32:52.000 Yeah, the evasion has continued and there's certain parts of the border wall along this U.S.

00:32:57.000 border that are more impacted than others.

00:32:59.000 You've seen what they've done in Eagle Pass with the floating buoys that have been out in the Rio Grande River there.

00:33:07.000 That has slowed the traffic down.

00:33:08.000 But guess what?

00:33:09.000 These drug cartels, these human traffickers, they know how to get around a lot of that stuff.

00:33:14.000 So they continue to pour into this country and really Charlie, overload the resources that we have right now. 1.00

00:33:21.000 You've got the, even the Department of Texas, the DPS, have had to pull troops off the highways into kind of processing centers to document all of these people that they are apprehending.

00:33:32.000 Of course, there's thousands of getaways almost every week.

00:33:35.000 So, it has been a strain on resources and not to mention The strain on the local school districts along the southern border, these school districts who just went back to school just about a week ago, are now faced with crowded classrooms.

00:33:49.000 Classroom sizes have grown from a lot of the migrant kids that have come into this area. 1.00

00:33:53.000 So, not just that we're talking some of the crime wave of this illegal invasion, but you're also talking about a strain on resources, Charlie, that affects everyone.

00:34:04.000 It's a strain on the entire system here.

00:34:07.000 Last question here, about one minute remaining.

00:34:09.000 Brian, you visited the border quite often.

00:34:12.000 This is a major political issue.

00:34:15.000 Border Patrol, are they resolutely still behind President Trump?

00:34:19.000 Absolutely.

00:34:20.000 Absolutely.

00:34:20.000 I just spoke with Brandon Judd just a few minutes ago to get him to come on camera a little bit later.

00:34:26.000 They're 100% behind President Trump.

00:34:28.000 They're not buying any kind of narrative that for whatever reason the apprehensions are lower or the crossings are lower.

00:34:36.000 There's migrant, you know, Prime waves and they're coming up this way. 1.00

00:34:42.000 It continues to flow in this country.

00:34:44.000 As long as Joe Biden's in office and long as Kamala Harris promises to keep this border open, they will come.

00:34:51.000 Very good, Brian.

00:34:52.000 Excellent work.

00:34:53.000 We'll talk to you soon.

00:34:54.000 Thank you.
