00:02:17.000There have been a few false starts because their rhetoric is like they'll use aggressive rhetoric, but they don't quite cross the line of taking action.
00:02:27.000But what they keep doing is they keep delegitimizing ICE.
00:02:34.000They say that they are committing crimes.
00:02:35.000And increasingly, the goal is to basically say that ICE is a criminal organization and they will treat them as a criminal organization.
00:02:47.000And I think what we're building up to is they want to engineer a constitutional crisis where they can just overtly defy the enforcement of federal law, which is what ICE does.
00:02:58.000ICE is enforcing federal immigration law by arresting and deporting people who are illegally in the country.
00:03:06.000And it started with, I've seen this play out over basically decades of my life because it was originally just, oh, that it causes harm to communities if you arrest people.
00:03:19.000If you go to their church or if you arrest them in certain contexts, then they won't go to hospitals or they won't call the police for other crimes.
00:03:28.000But increasingly, just the attitude is actually, these people, everyone in the world has the right to be in America, especially if they're a foreign rapist, gangster criminal, especially.
00:03:37.000And any attempt to deport them or arrest them, they will not collaborate with that.
00:03:42.000We already see that with the Sanctuary City stuff.
00:03:44.000They won't keep anyone locked up so that ICE can detain them.
00:03:48.000And now they just say, well, actually, ICE just can't detain them at all.
00:03:51.000And where we're getting closer to this We have them now just basically saying they're going to arrest ICE agents possibly.
00:04:02.000And this is Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal, DEI hire out of Philadelphia.
00:04:09.000And by the way, in this clip, she's praising the DA, who's a Soros-funded DA, absolutely lawless head of this city.
00:04:17.000It's incredible to the extent to which these municipalities have been radicalized.
00:04:23.000It's a longer clip, but she says to ICE, you don't want this smoke.
00:04:35.000Let know that law enforcement professionals, real ones, not the fake made-up ICE, probably Trump's a new army to attack citizens of the United States.
00:04:50.000No law enforcement professional wears a mask.
00:04:53.000Those that come into our communities wearing a mask to commit crime.
00:04:58.000Thank God for our district attorney, Larry Krasner, who say he's going to lock him up.
00:05:04.000And I'm saying now, we are not going to whisk you away for them to hide your identity because when you do it there, you're getting arrested there.
00:05:15.000If any of them want to come in this city and commit a crime, you will not be able to hide.
00:06:06.000That's anarcho-tyranny as well, right?
00:06:08.000Where you're enforcing the law selectively against your preferred targets.
00:06:13.000You're refusing to enforce a lot of the law if it's your preferred people groups, special groups, whether that's immigrants, minorities, whatever.
00:06:24.000And so this is, so we talked about this last night.
00:06:26.000I think it's worth reiterating because you're seeing the same thing in Hennepin County in Minnesota.
00:06:32.000You're seeing it in Portland, where we are looking down the barrel of a standoff between state or local law enforcement and federal law enforcement.
00:06:42.000And so the Trump administration now has to be zeroed in, laser focused on what do they do when this standoff occurs.
00:07:10.000They want these confrontations between ICE and protesters because they want someone to get shot so they can condemn ICE.
00:07:17.000So what they want, what these people are dying to have happen is they want to have a confrontation between police and ICE where there's some sort of conflict and like a cop gets shot by ICE.
00:07:28.000That is what they want to have happen.
00:09:18.000And you have to make sure that you win that battle.
00:09:19.000This is possibly the most important test this administration.
00:09:22.000So Philly is a standout because you've got this crazy sheriff who's saying, you don't want this smoke, which is a direct threat.
00:09:29.000I will say in the instance of Minnesota 344, this is the statement by Minnesota police and peace officers.
00:09:37.000They're asking, they're basically condemning some of the statements, the rhetoric that are coming out of officials.
00:09:44.000They're asking leaders to stop inflammatory language and respect the legal investigative process.
00:09:50.000And they're saying that they stand behind law enforcement, i.e., ICE agents, and irresponsible, reckless rhetoric from political leaders attacking law enforcement has real and dangerous consequences.
00:10:01.000So at least in the instance of Minnesota, it looks like the police are siding with law enforcement and ICE.
00:10:11.000Candles were lit on Bondi Beach by families, by children, by people of faith to celebrate a festival of light, a festival from Bible times, one that Jesus himself celebrated.
00:10:21.000People gathered with hope, seeking unity and comfort in tradition.
00:10:25.000But instead of light, there was darkness, violence, fear, hatred showing itself at a time meant for prayer and rejoicing.
00:10:33.000Times like this remind us that even with the ceasefire in Israel, Jewish people are being targeted simply because of their faith.

00:11:20.000All right, so there is another ICE encounter that was exploding on the news last night, and it was involving a CPB, Customs Border Patrol, CBP agent in the city of Portland.
00:11:33.000And it turns out it was another ramming incident, according to DHS.
00:11:38.000And the individual that tried to ram the CBP agent was a Trende Aragua gangbanger who runs a prostitution ring.
00:11:47.000And the initial reports were fascinating because they said it was a husband and wife.
00:11:51.000And then there was pictures of the woman scantily clad, and we do not think that that would be his wife.
00:11:57.000Oh, actually, I wouldn't put that beyond that.
00:11:59.000I mean, maybe it is, maybe it's not, but it would be surprising.
00:12:03.000So there are the suspects, and without fail, on call, on queue, Portland mayor and Oregon governor Kodak are coming to the defense of the Trende Aragua gang banger and calling ICE to leave their city.
00:12:19.000Because it's ICE's fault that these gangbangers are in the country in the first place.
00:12:24.000I mean, just, for example, you need to check this out.
00:12:29.000Let's just, a little trip down memory lane, go up and throw up 379.
00:12:38.000This is why all of these conversations are happening.
00:12:40.000Because under four years of Joe Biden, this was your southern border.
00:12:44.000Thousands upon thousands of God knows who just streaming over the border, coming into your country, coming into cities like Portland and Minneapolis and Philadelphia and everywhere else.
00:12:59.000Often government payments often paid for by the taxpayers to relocate them in the interior.
00:13:44.000When a president endorses tearing families apart and attempts to govern through fear and hate rather than shared values, you foster an environment of lawlessness and recklessness.
00:14:02.000You are the political movement ideology that is fostering lawlessness.
00:14:07.000You're literally coming down on the side of a dude who runs a prostitution ring.
00:14:11.000And somehow it's ICE's fault that they're trying to arrest these bad people and get them out of the country for the safety and lawfulness of your community.
00:14:22.000They call Trump a dictator or a tyrant or whatever, and they think that that just completely absolves them of actually enforcing the law in their communities.
00:15:10.000They want to, ultimately, they want to bring down the United States.
00:15:15.000They might not really fully think that out all the time, but their principles always militate towards this.
00:15:22.000This is what ultimately caused the Biden wave.
00:15:24.000The Biden wave was, it was almost an accident of left-wing thought that at this point, they cannot articulate any valid reason to keep any person out of the United States.
00:15:38.000It doesn't work in their moral worldview.
00:15:41.000They view the United States as illegitimate as a country, basically because it was wealthy and successful and because it was European.
00:15:49.000And so there's no valid reason for it to exist.
00:15:51.000Ergo, anyone can come here and they can do whatever they want.
00:15:54.000Yeah, it's a really, like, the more you listen to this, and I've been studying, I've been spending a lot of time late at night, early in the morning, watching and reading a lot of these comments by like far-left activist groups.
00:16:06.000These are the organizing groups that are, you know, putting on the protests, the mostly peaceful protests, and setting up their autonomous zone now in Minneapolis, just like they had in Seattle, Chaz, now it's Maz.
00:16:18.000And they talk about a couple different themes repeatedly.
00:16:21.000It's colonialism, it's native and indigenous people, people of color.
00:16:26.000It's a big focus on delegitimizing white Western white people.
00:16:34.000And ultimately, it comes down to this.
00:16:37.000They believe that the wealth, power, and influence, whether that's militarily or economically, that has been amassed by European civilization over the last two, three, 400 years is illegitimate.
00:17:00.000And they literally want to take it back.
00:17:02.000This is why when we talked about Sia Weaver yesterday, if you missed it, check it out.
00:17:06.000We talked about Sia Weaver, the new tenants' rights director or whatever from Mamdani in New York City.
00:17:12.000And she is a white woman that is vehemently, militarily opposed to property ownership.
00:17:19.000She is going in to destroy the tenants in New York City because she thinks that rent control and shared property is somehow the panacea of all the ills that are in New York City.
00:17:29.000This is why people like Cia Weaver are such idiots.
00:17:34.000This is why Chuck Schumer is an idiot.
00:17:37.000This is why all of these people that think that they can bend the knee, that they can kiss the ring, and they can play along, and somehow they'll be eaten last by this mob of hateful vigilantes, this clannish tribalist movement, driven by vengeance, driven by jealousy, that they think that they're going to get ahead in this, that they can somehow make common cause with these people.
00:18:04.000And this is ultimately why the conservative movement in the United States must prevail because we are the firewall for Western civilizations.
00:19:26.000Really important story that we haven't touched on yet on this show, but we have been keeping track of it since March of 2025.
00:19:34.000And that is, of course, about California's push for voter ID.
00:19:38.000This is a ground up, grassroots-led effort in the blue state of California, and they have just surpassed 1 million signatures on the petition.
00:19:48.000They have surpassed the first benchmark to get it on the ballot in 2026, but they need more signatures.
00:19:56.000Here to help us unpack that story is Representative Ken Calvert from California's 41st congressional district.
00:20:03.000And after Prop 50, he is now going to be, he's a candidate for California's 40th district.

00:22:10.000I guess I was thinking about a few things.
00:22:12.000The first thing that came to mind is this will probably be the first time in California history they'll really aggressively go through every name to see if they're a citizen.
00:23:01.000That's why we want to get a million 200,000 signatures to make sure that there's no question that we can verify 873,000 signatures to make sure this is on the ballot.
00:23:11.000It's not going to fix every problem, but it's a big step forward for the state of California.
00:23:16.000Trust me, I've seen this thing go south for a long, long time.
00:23:19.000So we have a chance finally to make an improvement in election law in California and clean up the voter rolls, which also is a problem.
00:23:28.000You're right about ballot harvesting in California.
00:25:05.000Yeah, and she owns a Mexican restaurant.
00:25:08.000And she was saying that during when the raids were happening from ICE, she said she lost about 50% of her business.
00:25:15.000And her theory was that the Hispanic population, even if they had green cards, were not coming out out of fear, right?
00:25:24.000Now, you and I know that that's ridiculous.
00:25:27.000But if you find yourself getting to November of 2026 and you haven't had any problems with ICE or Customs and Border Patrol, you think you're going to risk the voter ID portion of this to cheat an election, even if they're offering you $100 or gift cards to this or that.
00:25:45.000I have to believe that this is going to clean up a huge, huge percentage of the problem.
00:25:50.000And listen, this is becoming an issue front and center.
00:25:54.000President Trump is now true socialing about it.
00:25:56.000He says he's personally going to be running an effort to get this across the finish line.
00:26:01.000Here's just a smattering of some of what Elon Musk has been saying lately.
00:26:36.000And I want to give a little shout out to Chef Gruhl down there, also a Huntington Beach resident, speaking at the Huntington Beach City Council.
00:27:06.000Those voter rolls, they keep adding people on over and over and over again, and nobody's cross-referencing IDs on those voter rolls.
00:27:12.000So when you talk to Bob Page on a local level or any local registrar of voters, they're going to say, well, yeah, we've got a really great operation on site.
00:27:21.000We're just taking what Sacramento gives us in regards to the rules.
00:27:24.000We can't ask for ID on site or we can't cross-reference ID.
00:27:28.000So the problem isn't ours anymore, right?
00:27:29.000It's that diffusion of responsibility.
00:27:31.000It is 100% fact that you do not need to prove any citizenship to get voter registration in California.
00:27:38.000Yeah, I mean, it's become so extreme, Congressman, that, you know, these election workers are, they won't even ask for it.
00:27:47.000And so the next question is, what happens?
00:27:51.000You know, first question is, is the polling showing that this would actually pass?
00:27:56.000If it passes, what sort of enforcement mechanisms at the polling centers are in place to make sure that election workers are doing their job and checking IDs?
00:29:12.000We did this in Florida, and Florida turned the political system around.
00:29:17.000I think a lot of it was because they have a much more efficient voter system than we do.
00:29:24.000And we need to have the same kind of system that a state like Florida has.
00:29:28.000Yeah, and that's what I've been told is that this law is being written to emulate Florida's voter ID law, which is the standard bearer in the country.
00:29:42.000If local election workers are not enforcing the law, not checking IDs, part of this bill will actually include an enforcement mechanism like that where they can call in.
00:29:54.000And I just want to give you some your just desserts here, Congressman.
00:29:59.000You are the, I think the highest ranked, forgive me if I'm wrong, but you're now the highest ranking Republican in Congress, or maybe since we're in the majority, you're the highest ranking Congressman from California that we have in the House.
00:30:12.000So, and you are now running for reelection after Prop 50 in now the new district of District 41, correct?
00:30:22.000Tell us how people can support what you've been doing.
00:31:08.000And it was mentioned some other things that we need to do in the future to clean up the voter rolls, to get this ballot harvesting fiasco behind us.
00:31:19.000A number of things to, because we would have wanted, look, we'd have five more Republicans right now in this state if it wasn't for this crap.

00:33:54.000And I think probably the funniest thing about this is we've had major protests in Iran about a week now, and it's struggled to be above the number three story in the U.S. If that Venezuela's taken precedence, the stuff in Minneapolis has taken precedence and so on.

00:34:12.000And I think Charlie would definitely be weighing in on it.
00:34:15.000So there's been a spate of major demonstrations against the mullahs, as you might hear them called on TV.
00:34:25.000Ordinary Iranians protesting in Tehran and a lot of secondary cities.
00:34:30.000There's a lot of various reports on the ground that they've set government buildings on fire.
00:34:35.000They've supposedly taken control of large cities.
00:34:40.000That goes back and forth on how accurate all of that is.
00:34:43.000But what does seem to be true is the regime is now trying to black out a lot of communications.
00:34:51.000They're targeting other means of communication to limit people's ability to know what's going on and to try to keep control of the situation.
00:34:59.000Notably, a week ago, President Trump said on Truth Social that if Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue.
00:35:13.000We are locked and loaded and ready to go.

00:35:21.000You're seeing some of that agitation that the U.S. should be ready to get involved.
00:35:26.000The son of the previous Shah, Reza Pahlavi, he desires to take power in the country, and he's been saying America should be ready to get involved.

00:35:38.000I think Charlie would still be skeptical of getting involved.
00:35:41.000He was very, very wary of the Iran war crisis we had this past summer.
00:35:46.000He was very happy that it was ultimately resolved with one bombing run, nothing else.
00:37:01.000Okay, so, you know, protesters are chanted against the ruling theocracy.
00:37:05.000This reminds me of when you look back at those images of Iran in the 70s before the Shah was kicked out.
00:37:12.000That, you know, it looks almost like a Western nation, right?
00:37:15.000And, you know, I used to live in Southern California.
00:37:17.000A lot of Iranians, Persian community down there are very, you know, enterprising people, very productive people, very almost Western.
00:37:24.000Yes, they're Muslim, but it's a different variety, right?
00:37:31.000It's the Shia Muslim as opposed to the Sunni.
00:37:33.000It's a different kind of Islam that they seem culturally to practice.
00:37:38.000But, you know, this is what's interesting.
00:37:42.000The son of the last Shah, which is Reza Pahlavi, he's making actual, so one hour ago, he's saying, this is an urgent and immediate call for your attention.

00:37:57.000Last night you saw millions of brave Iranians in the streets facing down live bullets.
00:38:01.000Today they are facing not just bullets, but total communication blackout.
00:38:42.000Khomeini, fearing the end of his criminal regime at the hands of the people and with the help of your powerful promise, he's speaking to President Trump to support the protesters, has threatened the people on the streets with a brutal crackdown.
00:38:54.000Now, there's reports of at least 50 people have been killed in the skirmishes with, you know, I suppose the regime's muscle clashing with protesters on the streets, has threatened people on the streets with brutal crackdown.
00:39:09.000He wants to use this blackout to murder these young heroes.
00:39:12.000So this has been a very youth-oriented movement.
00:39:14.000A lot of students, a lot of merchants that have been struggling under this merchants.
00:39:20.000We always say like it's the Middle Ages.
00:39:22.000The merchant of Venice, these are business people.
00:39:24.000Traders, their camel carrots have been probably like smaller businesses, though, right?
00:39:29.000Like the people that are actually trying to make a living in Iran.
00:39:32.000I've called on the people, uh, called the people to the streets to fight for their freedom and to overwhelm the security forces with sheer numbers.
00:39:57.000Last time we did this, it was like Libya.
00:39:59.000And listen, if there's a way for President Trump, even morally, to support the people of Iran to rise up and take over their own country, I'm all for it.
00:40:07.000To your point, I do not want to invite a reason for optimism.
00:40:12.000As you say, Iran is long been a major civilization.
00:40:17.000It's a relatively more modern Middle Eastern country before the revolution.
00:40:28.000This is not like intervening in Central Africa or something where it's just been backwards for a long time and it's not likely to go well.
00:40:36.000Iran is a country that is already, in a lot of places, quite secular on the ground.
00:40:42.000You can meet Iranians who are from that country, and they'll often say, Yeah, a lot of people don't take Islam terribly seriously.
00:40:50.000I'd say it's a lot less, other than the regime itself, it's a lot less robust than it might be in Egypt or in Iraq or certainly in Afghanistan.
00:40:59.000So, if you do topple the regime, I think you're very likely to get a secular-friendly government back.
00:41:04.000But people would always ask, you know, what would Charlie make of this?
00:41:08.000And I think I would share with him: you get talked into these interventions by being told it'll be easy and smooth, and it never is for more on many of these stories and news you can trust.
