00:06:53.000 So, Senator, just last top of part on this topic, which is on Bobby Kennedy, which is if 20 years ago or 30 years ago, you would have just told somebody a Kennedy was going to be a nominee for a cabinet official, you would assume every single Democrat would vote for whomever that is.

00:07:15.000 Well, I've not heard of any Democrats going to vote for him.

00:07:20.000 His family is a well-respected Democrat family in this country.

00:08:40.000 You being a Navy guy, if I remember correctly, and understanding our military very, very well, Your opinion on, or at least the status report, on Pete Hegseth.

00:20:57.000 He said, if you are part of a family, or an extended family, and you want to stay with that family, and part of your family members are felons, they are going to be leaving this country, and you can choose to leave with them, or you can choose to stay, but that'll be a decision you make.
00:21:11.000 But we are not going to be held hostage because children are going to be separated from felons who are in this country illegally, so Closing the border, the deportation is going to occur.
00:21:21.000 We've got over a million people in this country who have final deportation orders, meaning they have nowhere else to go.

00:21:29.000 They say you have to leave this country.
00:21:30.000 We're going to go find those people and we're going to remove them immediately.
00:21:34.000 That's the first step after we get the felons, the rapists, the murderers out of this country.
00:21:38.000 So Charlie, that alone is almost two million people who are running around our communities doing no good that we're going to find and we're going to deport very quickly.

00:23:38.000 Can you just contextualize that further and deepen it?
00:23:42.000 That people are foregoing an easy retirement to continue on this effort.

00:23:48.000 You know, Charlie, over the last four or five weeks since President Trump has won, I've had the opportunity to talk to a number of people who have the opportunity to retire from federal service, who say, you know what, because Donald Trump is coming in, we'd like the privilege to stay.

00:24:03.000 We got into the law enforcement community to go out and get bad guys, to protect our communities and our neighbors and our friends.
00:24:09.000 And by unhandcuffing us, by giving us the opportunity to get away from our desk jobs and going back into the field, we want to do that.
00:24:17.000 The other thing we've seen, Charlie, is a massive outpouring of recently retired officers who said, I've done 10, 20, 25 years.
00:24:25.000 Let me come back into government service so that we can be in assistance immediately.
00:24:30.000 There's a very small amount of training that they have to go back through.
00:24:33.000 And we're also seeing massive increases in our recruiting efforts.
00:24:37.000 So those individuals who go to the FLEXI, the Federal Law Enforcement Trading Academy, are saying, let us come to Border Patrol now that we know that we'll be able to do our jobs because for the last four years, we've been desk jockeys.

00:24:54.000 Those ICE agents are going to go out and find the bad guys and our communities are going to be better for it.

00:25:06.000 It's not just the quantity of people, but there are some potential very, very dangerous people as far as Chinese agents or Iranians that might have slipped through.

00:25:20.000 And do you think our government currently even knows the bad hombres that are currently domiciling themselves in the interior of the United States?

00:25:29.000 I think the government has been complicit in this.

00:25:33.000 You know, I hate to give any credit to 60 Minutes because they're a terrible organization, but they catalog the whole thing of these, you know, these Chinese individuals coming in, these military-age males coming in. 1.00

00:25:47.000 They've chosen to do nothing about it.

00:26:23.000 The people who have overstayed their visas who shouldn't be here.

00:27:51.000 Joe Biden signed an executive order that gave federal government employees, I think, five years to continue to work from home.
00:27:58.000 I hope and I'm very hopeful that the president rescinds that on day one and says, listen, if you want to continue to get paid by our tax paying dollars, then you better get your butt into the office every single day like everybody in the private sector does.
00:28:10.000 That is the mindset of all of his cabinet nominees, of all of his executive team.
00:28:16.000 Look, when Kash Patel comes into the FBI, they know that real fundamental and wholesale change is coming to that organization, and it's long overdue.
